Speaker 1 (00:04):
You're here now. Welcome to Ni Ni's night Lounge, where
the stories don't just entertain, they linger. Some of what
you'll hear is made up, and some of it, well,
I'll let you decide. Dim the lights, lock the door,
because once the story begins, the spirits lean in and Baby,
they've been waiting for you. I'm your host, Nini. Tonight,
(00:27):
We've got two spine chilling tales for you, both revolving
around the enigmatic Unit four B. One story takes place
in a city apartment straight out of your nightmares, while
the other unfolds in a luxurious mansion with secrets hidden
in every corner. So sit tight and get ready, because
these stories are sure to keep you up all night.
(00:50):
Our first story, the Window and Unit four B City Edition,
follows an intrepid soul named Anaya. Picture this the under
a deluge rain pouring like someone upstairs forgot to turn
off the faucet. Anaya, bless her still hopeful heart, moves
into her new apartment just as the storm rages on.
(01:13):
Welcome to Unit for B. Mister Collier, the building's janitor
and part time harbinger of doom, warns her about Unit
four B. He had that look, you know, one that
says I've been around, I've seen some things. Turns out
this apartment has a bit of a reputation, but Anaya,
brave or naive, shrugs it off as superstition, and why
(01:34):
wouldn't she. She's never been one to bow to eerie tales, until,
of course, the bizarre happens. It starts with soft, persistent
tapping from the wall she shares with an empty room,
Tap tap, tap, in perfect rhythm. It almost sounds like
Morse code. But that's not all. Her dreams start to change,
(01:57):
warp even into something darker and more foreboding. Things take
a turn for the cryptic when Anaya discovers a shocking
connection to her past. Her own mother had once lived
in Unit four B, and that's not even the half
of it. Anya finds a pink hospital band with her
mother's name on it. Stranger still, there's a draft in
(02:19):
the apartment, cold enough to make you see your breath
even in the middle of summer, and an old, tattered
hospital gown that looks like it's seen one too many nightmares.
The climax, oh, hold on to your hat, Anya catches
a glimpse of her reflection in the window. Only it's
not entirely hers. The room itself seems to morph. Her
(02:41):
belongings are missing, boxes are lost to some abyss, and
the few photographs she has left are altered, distorted, haunted.
Think that's where it ends. Oh no, when she finally
moves out, well, let's just say the new tenant finds
himself digging up more than just dust. But that, my friends,
is a tale for another time. For now, let's take
(03:05):
a breather before diving into our next chilling story, our
next tale. The window in Unit four B Mansion Edition
swaps the city scape for a sprawling, grand estate nestled
in the eerie beauty of Savannah, Georgia. Picture it The
Marrow House, a Gothic mansion with marble columns and ivy
(03:25):
twisting around its ancient facades, grand and ghostly, both welcoming
and warning. Anaya, our intrepid soul arrives with dreams glittering
as brightly as the cracked chandeliers in the grand foyer
she now calls home. She's just acquired the Marrow House,
looking for a fresh start, or maybe to live out
(03:46):
her own twisted fairy tale. Word around town though, is
that the marrow House comes with certain baggage Unit four B. Specifically,
it's less an apartment this time, and more accursed wing
that no one in their right mind dares to enter.
But our Anaya is nothing if not persistent. At first,
(04:07):
all seems as hopeful as an estate sail bargain. The
days are filled with sunlight filtering through the creaking windows,
turning dust particles into shimmering specks of gold. But as
night falls, the shadows stretch longer, whispering warning in languages forgotten,
lights flicker, and cold drafts make their ghostly rounds through
(04:28):
the halls. Window panes rattle like old bones, and there's
that inexplicable, hair raising sensation that she's not alone. It
escalates from there on. One particularly drenched evening, Anaya encounters
a veiled woman standing motionless in the garden, rain drops
sliding off her face like tears, her eyes hidden but
her presence unmistakable. The unease is palpable, the air electric
(04:54):
with dread. She approaches the woman, but, as if in
a twisted game of hide and seek, the the figure
vanishes just before Anyah reaches her. The turning point comes
when Annya stumbles upon an old diary buried beneath floorboards
that creak and groan in protest. The pages yellowed and crumbling,
but the story they tell ageless. It's her own handwriting.
(05:18):
The diary reveals that Anaya herself was a part of
the Marrow House in a former life, her unfinished business
entangled in the very walls of Unit four B. And
it's not just memories that the house holds on too,
it's grudges. The spine chilling climax is the realization that
some homes don't just get sold. They summon, and sometimes
(05:40):
they bring their former occupants back, like it or not.
So if you ever find yourself drawn to an old
mansion with a storied past, remember Anya's tale. Some places
call out to us, not out of need, but out
of hunger, a craving to revive old stories, no matter
who gets caught in its web. And that's a wrap
on tonight's eerie tales of Unit four B. You've been
(06:02):
listening to Niini's night Lounge after Dark spiritual Tales, and
I'm your host, Niini. If these spine chilling sagas haven't
sent shivers down your spine yet, then you're braver than most.
Don't forget to check the show notes for any lynx
or additional content related to today's stories. And if you
think you've heard it all, think again, because next time
(06:24):
we've got more ghostly occurrences lined up that will make
the hairs on the back of your neck stand straight up.
Until then, keep the lights on, and maybe think twice
before moving into any place that comes with its own
set of urban legends, sweet dreams. If you dare
