Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi own Kara and mine Behind Kindling Minds, I'm a
qualified primary teacher, and I'm also proudly neurodivergent, living with
both dyslexia and autism. Growing up, learning wasn't always easy
for me. I often felt like I didn't quite fit
in the way school wanted me to. But along the way,
I had a few amazing teachers who believed in me.
(00:22):
They adapted their approach and gave me the tools to succeed.
That changed everything for me. Those experiences are why I
started Kindling Minds. I wanted to create a space where
no child feels invisible, behind or like the bad kid. Instead,
I want every learner to feel seen, celebrated, and supported
in ways that makes sense for them. You at Kindling Minds,
(00:47):
no two sessions are ever the same. Each resource, service,
and conversation is shaped around the unique strengths and needs
of you, child or family that's sitting in front of me.
It's all about connection, confidence and kindness, not pressure, and
is me because it comes from lived experience. I've been
the child who struggled, the student who doubted, and now
(01:09):
I'm the teacher who knows that learning differently isn't a weakness.
It's your superpower when you're given the right support. That's
