Welcome to Numu Jewish Bedtime Stories! A podcast to play for your children as they wind down from the day, featuring short, Jewish stories inspired by the Parsha, Chagim, and timeless tales. Each episode ends with Kriyat Shema al HaMitah; the traditional bedtime Shema. Named after a beloved Israeli lullaby, Numu means “sleep” in plural form. This podcast is our way of giving Jewish children a soothing, meaningful good night. Created by the Mazel Day School 8th Grade, l’ilui nishmat Ariel, Kfir, and Shiri Bibas; bringing light, love, and Jewish pride, one bedtime at a time. Cuddle up tight!❤️

Yosef wasn’t a rich man, but he had something even more precious; his deep love for Shabbos. Every week, he used whatever money he had to buy something special, trusting that Hashem would always take care of him. And one week… He did, in the most surprising way!
The rabbi was late. Really late. He had an important meeting and was rushing to catch a train… until a cheerful old man showed up at his door with way too many stories and way too many baby names! But just when it seemed like everything was going wrong, Hashem’s plan was going exactly right. Is it really just a delay… or is it a miracle in disguise?
Tonight’s story is all about one of the most beloved heroes in Jewish history - Dovid HaMelech! From fighting the mighty Goliot with just a slingshot to hiding in a cave and being saved by a tiny spider, Dovid shows us that bravery doesn’t come from being big or loud; it comes from trusting Hashem.
