Speaker 2 (00:49):
Oh hey, shirley,
where are you at?
Speaker 3 (00:51):
I'm behind the camera
.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
Oh, okay.
Speaker 4 (00:53):
All right, oh, that's
right.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 4 (00:57):
She's my camera woman
today.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
All right.
Well, she's doing a great jobso far.
I see we're in the store and Iknow in our last episode we
talked a lot about the differentthings that you guys supply
that are not just olive oil.
I mean, you're not just anolive oil store Today.
I'm thrilled that we're goingto get to take a walking tour,
so let's get going.
Speaker 4 (01:17):
Yeah, come on, I'm
going to show you Now.
We talked about all the thingswe had and I'm standing in front
of one of our newest selectionsof pastas.
As you can see, we've gotpastas galore, every shape and
size.
You've probably heard of nestpasta.
We've got nest pastas now fromItaly and, and they're even
organic on many of those Stringpastas, shaped pastas.
(01:39):
We've got organic matcha meaty.
We got tomato basil radiatore, you know, you just name it.
There's 30-some differentpastas here.
And then, of course, you got tohave the pasta sauces to go
with them.
Nice, seven different pastasauces that are all craft batch
made and, oh gosh, are they evergood.
This one right here is one ofmy favorites the Tuscan
(01:59):
sun-dried tomato.
It's kind of like a creamyAlfredo, delicious, and, believe
it or not, we've got salsa too,for the Mexican friends that
like to dip some chips which isme and pizza sauce.
So come, get your pasta and, ofcourse, skip on down here.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
You're doing great,
Shirley.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
This is another new
line that we have.
It's called our Drink Mixers.
We've got things from CitrusAgave, which is slash margarita.
Now, these are allnon-alcoholic but they're all
again craft, handmade.
They're small batch, so they'rereal juices.
There's no preservatives, noneof that junky stuff that you
want in there Strawberry, lemon, sweet peach.
And then looky here, look atall these olives.
(02:42):
Olives stuffed galore witheverything from lemon peels to
cream cheese to feta cheese, blue cheese, pepper jack,
jalapeno, habaneros for thosewho really like it, hot Me
Garlic, spicy garlic cloves.
I mean gosh, you want to make aperfect martini.
We've got the dirty martini mixup here and the pimento they're
(03:06):
somewhere here.
There's so many they're hard tofind Pimento for your martinis.
And Greek salads oh my goodness, these kalamatas are amazing in
a Greek salad.
And then on down here.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
I would imagine the
olives are pretty good in a
Greek salad as well.
Speaker 4 (03:24):
Oh, any of these
would be great in a Greek salad,
especially the cheese ones.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Well, when you said
blue cheese, you caught my
attention.
Speaker 4 (03:32):
And feta, I love feta
, you know the blue cheese, the
sweet, what we call sweetjihadis.
The blue cheese and habanero.
There's a little sweetness inthem.
Oh, they're addictive.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
Oh wow, Very nice.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
And then down here
here we've got our balsamic
based hot sauces and barbecuesauces.
These babies here are mixedwith ghost pepper and scorpion
pepper, so they are hot, but youknow what, since they're
balsamic based, the flavor justcarries through, so deliciously.
I mean, these are going to setyou on fire, for sure, for those
who are not accustomed to it,but you're going to taste the
flavor and we get comments allthe time about how flavorful
(04:07):
ours are.
They're not just scorching hot.
But the balsamic barbecuesauces, again very flavorful.
They are a little bit thinnerthan they're, not pasty and full
of sugar.
They're going to be a littlebit more natural, a little bit
healthier for you, but theflavor just carries through.
And we've got a wide selectionof those, and one of Shirley's
favorites is the teriyaki thatshe mentioned in the last one.
(04:29):
This teriyaki is amazing.
It's again, it's gluten-free,balsamic based, so the flavor is
just outstanding.
And then, for those who wouldlike to bake, we have creme and
white truffle creme.
These are reduced balsamic forglazes.
Of course, you could take ourCas25 and do the same thing,
which is right here behind me.
(04:49):
See all these beautiful fustiesthat we have.
This is where we fill from allthese fusties, these are the
balsamics.
We also let you taste fromthese fusties.
You come in and our team willwalk you around and let you
taste any and all of them righthere, from the same spout that
we bottle from, of course, weuse little cups.
you know we're sanitary about it.
(05:10):
And then on down here we've gotour six packs, which are a
really popular gift.
These are three oils and threevinegars.
This is just a sample of whatthey look like inside, but these
are great for Christmas timeand Christmas gifts.
And there's all kinds of themedsix-packs that are grilled
towards Grilling Boss is, youknow, obviously themed towards
the Grill Master, which iscoming up, Gourmet Deluxe, which
(05:32):
is going to be some of ourhigher-end balsamics and oils,
and, of course, pasta andsalad-based six-packs.
So that's some of the items.
I think I'll turn it over andlet Shirley tell you about some
of the rest of them.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
All right.
Well, now we have Shirley infront of the camera.
That's going to continue ourtour.
Shirley, tell us what's behindyou.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
Hey, skip, these are
all of our prepper nutrients.
If you're having some healthissues and you want to go a
little further and adding somegood, healthy products in your
diet, these are great too.
Like the beetroot, it's goodfor people with high blood
pressure.
You also have the kiwi.
It's great for several reasonstoo.
Blood pressure is anotherreason and on each one of our
(06:15):
prepper nutrients it'll kind ofguide you of any health issues
that you're having that thesewould be a great way to help you
assist in those, to reduce someof those issues that you're
having.
These are great.
We've had them now for a coupleof years and our customers are
loving them.
And Vince will come in, theactual owner of this company.
He'll pop in and see us andhe'll be in the store and work
(06:37):
the store with us one weekend.
Oh, wow.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
Well, that was
awfully nice of him, yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
Another product that
we talked about earlier is my
skincare.
These are soaps, these are thesugar scrubs that I mentioned
earlier, and also the shampoobars and conditioner bars.
All of these are natural.
There's no chemicals at all.
They have essential oils inthem.
And here's one of.
These are natural.
There's no chemicals at all, they have essential oils in them
.
And here's one of my favoriteones it's called Bug Plague Away
.
When I'm out in the yard doingflowers, I always put this on
(07:06):
because it's a good mosquitorepellent.
It's good for fleas and ticks.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
And another new
product I just brought in is our
face mask.
They're all clay based.
I have a calming to help youcalm that face down a little bit
, or your skin a little bit, totake some of that redness out.
I have a soothe for everybodyor anyone that is hypoallergenic
, that has very sensitive skin.
We have a glow and that justmakes your face get a little bit
(07:36):
more radiant.
I've used this one.
It's really good.
Like I said, I actually trythem before I bring any products
in, so all of these are testedby me and my staff, so it's a
great way to get some naturalstuff on your body as well.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
And those are all
olive oil based.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
The only thing that
are not are the clay mask.
The clay mask does not haveolive oil on them.
You can, when you mix your claymask up, I use a rose water.
I also use for the younger ones.
They can use a witch hazel andyou get about 20 applications
out of this packet wow now.
Another thing we did talk aboutis our gift sets that we do a
(08:15):
lot of.
We'll do corporate gifts.
We'll just have gifts here incase someone has a birthday.
Mother's Day is coming aroundthe corner.
We do Mother's Day gifts aswell.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
Well, and you guys
package those.
I think we talked about inanother episode.
You guys package those yourself, right?
Speaker 3 (08:32):
Yes, we do.
We actually set and we makethese little gift sets up for
you.
We can be olive ells, we can dowhatever you need us to do is
there a price range for thosegifts?
It really depends on yourproducts and what you pick very
good we also have gift bags aswell, too.
These are handmade.
(08:53):
I have towels with olives onthem.
Those are great.
This is a new addition Ibrought in last year.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
Wow gift bags.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
Now I mentioned pet
shampoo.
All of this comes from my samemaker of my shampoos and
conditioners and the body scrubsas well.
These are all pet shampoos.
I have a pet shampoo with cedarwood and sage.
I have a pet shampoo forchamomile and aloe, and these
are all made 100% natural aswell.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
Well now, you
mentioned earlier a mosquito
repellent.
Does that apply to animals aswell, or is that strictly for
humans?
Speaker 3 (09:28):
It's for humans.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
Okay, very good.
Well, I would imagine you'vegot some shampoos that help with
that as well.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
Yes, the cedarwood
sage would be good for that too.
Even the lavender, becauselavender is known to repel fleas
, so that's another good one.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Oh, wow.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
And here's more gift
sets that we have out.
Also, we want to talk aboutspices.
All of our spices arehand-blended.
They're all natural.
The truffle parmesan is one ofour favorites.
It is great on asparagus, it'sgood on popcorn.
It's good over pasta.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
What are your other
favorites?
Speaker 3 (10:09):
It's one of our
favorites, yeah, and then the
Tuscany bread dipping.
This has been the number oneseller ever since we've opened,
so for 10 years.
Everybody loves this.
I use it as a dipping and Ialso put this on saltine
crackers as well.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
Now, is that a?
Is that a?
You mix it with a lick withwater, or is you just you can?
Speaker 3 (10:30):
use it.
You just mix it with your oil.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
With oil, of course.
What am I thinking?
Water?
Speaker 3 (10:37):
Now, the Italian herb
goes really well with that
Tuscany bread dipping.
You put those two combostogether and it'll go on
anything.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Wow, Now you're
standing in front of the tasting
area.
Speaker 3 (10:51):
Yes, that's where you
fill bottles yes, Anytime you
come into the store, we alwaysgive you a little tour and we
ask you, if there's somethingthat you want to taste, to let
us know, and we just come overhere with a little tasting cup
and we'll give you a little bitof it and you'll taste it.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
Oh, wow.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
I would hit every one
of those Any oils and vinegars.
Yes, you can taste here in thestore.
We want you to taste it beforeyou buy the product to make sure
that you're happy with thatproduct.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
Wow, well, I was
going to ask how does that work,
but apparently you get to tryanything when you're there.
Speaker 3 (11:28):
Yes, you do.
And something else too, skip,we do.
We have a lot of olive woodproducts too.
We have cheese boards, we haveolive dishes, I have salad bowls
.
All of this is our olive wood, and there's a lot more.
In the store I probably haveabout 30 or 40 different olive
(11:49):
wood products, and these comefrom Tunisia.
They are also made with theolive trees that no longer
produce, so they're recyclingthe olive trees.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
Wow.
Now olive trees.
Now this is a whole othersubject.
Olive trees grow to beextremely old, right?
Speaker 3 (12:11):
They do.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
Any idea how old the
wood is on those plates?
Speaker 3 (12:16):
I do know there is
still an olive tree in jerusalem
that is still producing olivesfrom the time christ was on this
earth I've read that as well.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
Wow, so that now
that's amazing.
What is there a price range forthe boards?
Speaker 3 (12:30):
yes, there is some of
them.
It depends on what size you get, like this is a 17, this is $69
.
This is a 20 by 22 and this oneis $99.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
Wow, very nice.
Greg's got a lathe and hecarves this thing out.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
These actually come
from our growers as well.
Like I said they come fromTunisia and I will say not one
of them are the same size, sameshape.
They're always different.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
Wow, because the
trees are different sizes and
shapes.
That's correct, and I was justjoking about Greg using a lathe.
Sorry.
Speaker 4 (13:08):
I'm a good cameraman,
though.
Speaker 3 (13:14):
And sometimes Skip
will get.
I'll show you these as well.
These are the bread basketsthat we get, and sometimes we
will get in the wood the actualshape of a cross, and every time
we get a new shipment in, weall stand back there looking for
(13:34):
the crosses wow, so is thecross.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Is that just part of
the natural wood, or is it?
Speaker 3 (13:41):
That is part of the
natural wood.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
Wow, that's
fascinating.
And we look perfect too.
Speaker 3 (13:49):
We'll stand and we'll
look at these and see if we can
find us a face of an animal.
Sometimes we find them, sometimes we don't Like this
looks like an eye in the wood,if you can see that.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
Wow, beautiful.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
But that's just some
of the special touches that we
do here at Olive Oil Divine andwe enjoy doing it.
We have fun.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
I would imagine
you're definitely more than just
an olive oil store, no question.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
Yes, we are.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
Well, guys, I can't
tell you how much I appreciate
the tour and what a great jobboth of you did as a cameraman.
So I appreciate that too, andwe'll catch you in the next
episode.
Speaker 3 (14:31):
Have a good day, Skip
.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
See you, skip.
