Christmas is often painted as a season of joy, peace, and celebration—but for many people, it can also be a season of stress, loss, loneliness, and uncertainty. As we get closer to Christmas, we hear constant talk about shortages: shortages of money, time, and even hope.
In this episode, Pastor Anthony Lucas reminds us that the greatest gift of Christmas isn’t found under a tree—it was laid in a manger. From the very beginning, God had a plan to send a Savior, and that Savior came not just for a select few, but for everybody.
Walking through Luke 2:8–20, we look at the shepherds—ordinary, overlooked, and unlikely people—who were the first to hear the good news of Jesus’ birth. Their story reminds us that no one is too broken, too forgotten, or too far gone for God’s grace.
