Our final sin, as is likely expected, is Lust. However, it is tied to a great blessing, sex, given to us by God to be enjoyed within marriage, that we want to take this topic in two parts: in the first, explaining why sex and sexuality is good in its intended place; and in the second, explaining how lust twists the beautiful good of intimacy that was given to us.
Look out for Part 2 of this episode on Thursday, and for Another One b...

The Psalmist writes, "The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?" (Psalm 118:6) And yet, we are so often swayed in thought, word, and deed by the Fear of Man, the second-to-last sin on our list.
Fear of Man, or rather fearing the thoughts and judgments of other people, can so often hide behind the guise of empathy, of people-pleasing, of wanting to do what is best for others. And yet, it can so easily ...

The Lord Jesus once said, "one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions" (Luke 12:18)--and yet, our sinful hearts so often guide our eyes to longingly gaze with Greed, Covetousness, and Envy upon the things of the earth which we think will make us complete... but "what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?" (Mark 8:36). Rather, the man who lays up treasures for...
As we navigate refraining from Unrighteous Anger, what are some places and avenues in which we can exercise righteous anger? And how do we make sure it follows biblical precedents? Listen to today's "Another One" to hear our thoughts!

Today we discuss another sin with yet another righteous counterpart: Unrighteous Anger.
Proverbs 14:29 says, "Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly." We are so often prone to listen to the flame of anger that is kindled in our sinful hearts, that which so quickly catches and grows into malice and strife (Proverbs 30:33)--for the "anger of man" so often leads ...
How do we reckon in our Christian lives with medical diagnoses for issues such as anxiety? Should we reject those ideas entirely or allow for certain situations? Listen to today's Another One to learn more.

We're back from our Easter break with our next topic: Anxiety.
Paul writes, "do not be anxious about anything" (Philippians 4:6-7). Jesus tells us clearly, "do not be anxious about your life" (Matthew 6:25-34). And yet, on the Mount of Olives, Jesus experiences a period of agony and stress over his coming sacrifice, something we can interpret as anxiety (Luke 22:44). So how do we understand what is righteous anxiety, and more import...
Our Apostle's Creed mentions Jesus's descent into "outer darkness" (Matthew 22:13). How are we to understand that? Join us on today's "Another One" as Dr. Neil C. Stewart discusses this difficult topic.

This Easter Holy Week we are concluding our miniseries with special guest Dr. Neil C. Stewart, looking now at Christ's resurrection and ascension.
Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 15 that these things are "of first importance," that our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified and yet rose to life! This incredible truth is what shapes our beliefs and lives as Christians, so join us in this final Easter episode to marvel in and pond...
In this Easter season, the question may arise: was Jesus's sacrifice really necessary? Was giving up his life the only way to save us from our sins, or could there have been some other way? Join us on this special bonus episode to learn more.
