Brian Jerome Cole Junior, the suspect charged with planting pipe
bombs near the RNC and DNC headquarters on January fifth,
twenty twenty one, told investigators he believed the twenty twenty
election was stolen. Cole, thirty, of Woodbridge, Virginia, was arrested

December fourth, after nearly five years of investigation. Prosecutors say
forensic evidence, DNA, chemical residue, surveillance footage, and cell phone
data ties him directly to the bombs. According to NVC
News and Newsweek, Cole told FBI agents he believed conspiracy
theories about the twenty twenty election. Officials say he has

been cooperating, giving multiple statements since his arrest. For prosecutors,
the motive is clear. Election conspiracies fueled one of January
