Speaker 1 (00:02):
This is Power Hour with Gabriello Power.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Hello and welcome to Power Hour. I'm Gabriella Power. Thank
you for joining us. We have a massive show coming up,
but I want to start with what's happening this weekend
because Sunday will mark one year since Donald Trump was
nearly assassinated on stage at Butler, Pennsylvania. This is what
unfolded on July thirteenth, twenty twenty four.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Take a look at what happened.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
One of those moments in history where you'll never forget
where you were or what you were doing when you
heard that President Trump had just been shot in the face,
which is being livestream to news networks around the world.
But if you're watching scene, and of course they were
telling you that he had a fall.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Whatever you think of Donald Trump.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
And his politics, we saw alive and in that moment,
who had the incredible instinct to get up and signal
to his supporters fight, Fight Fight. Gives me goosebumps every

(01:19):
time I watch it. But how is it twelve months
on we still don't really know anything about the shooter.
The House Task Force that investigated the assassination attempt found
it was preventable and should not have happened. And of
course we've all seen the clips of people at the
rallies screaming out that the shooter was on the roof,
But we still don't know anything about him or the motive.

(01:42):
Even President Trump a few months ago, who said he's
never really received an explanation.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
It has not been explained to me perfectly by other
Secret service or the FBI. We have somebody, two good
people running that, and I like to hear the explanation.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
But just how grateful are we that the president survived
the bullet was just millimeters away from his brain. And
what a twelve months Donald Trump has had since then,
going on to win the election in one of the
greatest political comebacks of all time, and he's just been
nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Joining us now is

(02:25):
James Billow, newsroom editor at Unheard. James, Great to see
you again. The Trump administration has vowed to be one
of truth and transparency, and I would say, for the
most part that Donald Trump has been far more transparent
than his predecessor and.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Is delivering on many of his promises.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
But right now there are a lot of questions around
the Epstein files.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
This was an election promise.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
By Donald Trump that we would be getting all of
these files. So naturally there's a lot of anger right
now that we're being told there's nothing more to see here,
especially when Attorney General Pam Bondie said that there was
a client lists, that there were truckloads of videos and documents.
This was Pambondi hyping it up the release of those
files just a few months ago.

Speaker 5 (03:09):
You're going to see some Epstein information being released by
my office.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
What kind are we going to see?

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Who was on the flights?

Speaker 6 (03:17):
Are we going to see any evidence from what he recorded?

Speaker 7 (03:20):
Because he had all of his homes wired with recording devices.

Speaker 5 (03:24):
What you're going to see, hopefully tomorrow is a lot
of flight logs, a lot of names at a lot
of information. But it's pretty sick what that man did.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Okay, well along with this co defendant. Absolutely, and he
had help, that's for sure, did James.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
She even invited influences to the White House and gave
them binders with essentially no new information. Now are being
told there's no client list, that Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide,
and there's essentially nothing else to see here. No one
else is getting named or charged and it's time that
we met. And this was Pam Bonnie's response to report
a questions about those files.

Speaker 5 (04:06):
To him being an agent. I have no knowledge about that.
We can get back to you on that. And the
minute missing from the video.

Speaker 8 (04:14):
We released the video showing definitively the video was not conclusive,
but the evidence prior to it was showing he committed suicide.

Speaker 5 (04:27):
And what was on that there was a minute that
was off the counter. And what we learned from euro
of Prisons was every year, every night they redo that
video as old from like nineteen ninety nine, So every
night the video is reset and every night should have
the same minute missing.

Speaker 9 (04:44):
So we're looking for.

Speaker 5 (04:45):
That video to release that as well, showing that a minute.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Is missing every night. And that's it. On Epstein. I
don't think he's very convincing.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
I think Pambondi has handled this terribly and there are
people on both sides of politics that are demanding answers.
I mean, I don't think it's going to go away
anytime soon.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
What do you make of all of this?

Speaker 1 (05:05):
No, And I think you're completely right.

Speaker 10 (05:07):
The scene we just saw there that is not the
sign of a confident woman. She clearly does not believe
what she's saying. She's stuttering and spluttering all over her words,
and it's not really clear what she's trying to accomplish.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Look, you can't make a big.

Speaker 10 (05:21):
Song and dance of the Epstein files and the truth
being revealed all in the run up to the election,
and then the second you get the keys to the castle,
you don't share any information that you find out. I mean,
that is an appalling portrayal of trust. And I completely
understand why the Magabase is an uproar about this. So, yes,
you have Pam Bondi. You also have Cash Bettel. Yours

(05:41):
have Dan Molgino, who again co directors of the FBI
or cats Head and Bondino is deputy. And again they're
just saying, there's nothing to see here. And I'm sorry,
you can't have your cake and eat it. You've been
talking about this issue for years and years and years,
and the second you have access to all these files
and all this information, you decide not to share it

(06:02):
with the public. Okay, maybe there isn't something to be
shared here, but I agree with you. I don't think
this is the end of the story, and I think
the way that this team has conducted itself.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
It has been nothing short of appalling.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
Yeah, I completely agree.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Now Cash Betel potentially needs a win after what's happened
or not happened with the Epstein files. And now the
FBI has launched criminal investigations into former FBI director James
Comy and former CIA directed John Brennan for their potential
wrongdoing in the Trump Russia collusion hoax, including allegedly lying
to Congress about the Steel Dussier, which contained salacious allegations

(06:39):
to eyeing Donald Trump to Russia. Sources told Fox News
that the FBI described the duo's interactions as a conspiracy.
This is what the President had to say about this this.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
Morning, isn't it Trump?

Speaker 7 (06:52):
James call me and John Brennan now under criminal investigation
related to the Trump Russia probe. Do you want to
see these two guys behind bars?

Speaker 9 (07:02):
Well?

Speaker 11 (07:02):
I know nothing about it other than what I read today,
but I will tell you I think they're very dishonest people.
I think they're crooked as hell, and maybe they have
to pay a price for that. I believe they are
truly bad people and dishonest people. So whatever happens.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
Happens, James, what's your assessment of this.

Speaker 10 (07:26):
Well, I certainly agree with the President that these are
dishonest people. And I just want to start by going
back to twenty sixteen and when this whole Russia Gate
hook started, and it was exactly that it was a
complete hoax. It was an extra legal effort and extra
political effort by the Democrats to take down the president.
They lost at the ballot box, and then they initiated

(07:47):
this year's long campaign to try and undermine him while
he was in office. This was the beginning of democratic
law fare, and it just persisted with Trump throughout the
tenth the next ten years, and it really did start
off this negative psych in American politics now. James Comy,
James Comy's role in this in particular is notable because
he was the one that first inserted himself into.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
The election campaign in twenty sixteen by.

Speaker 10 (08:12):
Talking about Hillary's emails, and he basically became a political figure.
No longer was he just the chief of the FBI.
He became someone immeshed in politics. And the second you
do that, you're going to be treated like a politician.
And I think the way it just all capped off
is earlier this year, he posts a photo not very cryptic,
I might add of saying eighty six forty seven, which

(08:34):
is basically another way of saying, let's assassinate the president.
So yeah, I'm not surprised Trump wants to go after
these people, and they really haven't helped themselves either.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
That photo is absolutely horrific, and then he tried to
play dumb to it.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
Unbelievable.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
Now, White House Chief of Staff Susie Wilds has opened
up on the bromance fall out between Donald Trump and
Elon Musk. Susie Wilde told Miranda Devane on an episode
of Pod Force one that the present cident it was
very good to Elon Musk, but their relationship had a
very troublesome ending.

Speaker 12 (09:06):
He knew things we didn't know. He knew people and
technologies that we didn't know. It was a great thing
when it was a great thing, and I had a
very I think of a very troublesome ending.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
Why do you think that happened?

Speaker 12 (09:23):
I don't know. I don't understand it. I don't know.
I know that what has been said doesn't ring accurate
to me, but I don't know. I enjoyed working with Elon.
I think he's a fascinating person and sees the world differently,
and I think that's probably what the President saw too,

(09:45):
just a little bit different than the average Joe. But
it certainly came to it not a good.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
Ending, James.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
It doesn't appear as though they'll be patching things up
anytime soon, especially now that Elon wants to launched this
third political party.

Speaker 13 (10:03):
No.

Speaker 10 (10:04):
I mean I was slightly surprised just by how conciliatory
Susie Wiles was in that clip. I mean she's not
really going after Elon or attacking him or criticizing him.
She said it was a great thing when it was great,
and it had a bad ending, And it sounds like
that's the closest thing to the truth that we've had.
I don't necessarily buy that the falling out was over
the DARE and energy credits. I mean, Elon Musk knew

(10:26):
about these energy credits being removed and these evine mandates
being removed months prior to this bill's passage. So I
don't think that's the whole story. And Trump is a
fascinating man as well. He liked to surround himself with
titans of industry, with intelligent people and the best of
the best. So you could see why this partnership was
going to be a successful one, and it's a shame

(10:47):
that it ended the way it did. Now, Musk's third
Party planed. The America Party calls it it's a fool's
errand that's never going to take off. Third parties are
always doomed to fail in America, and I think think
this is a little bit of a bruise to Ego
trying to speak out, trying to emphasize that he still
has some influence. But look, Jess, take a peek at
his Tesla stock after he made that announcement. It's down

(11:09):
by seven percent. So I think for the time being,
Elon would be doing everyone a favor by just stepping
away from politics a little bit, focusing on his great companies,
and returning with a bit more of a level head.

Speaker 3 (11:19):
Yeah, I think you're right there, James.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
I've just returned from New York City, which could be
in a bit of trouble or a lot of trouble
if socialist, radical anti Israel's around Ma'am Dani becomes mayor. Now,
I was there for the fourth of July weekend, and
of course fourth of Julia is a day where patriots
just show how proud they are of their country, as
well as their sacrifices that the heroes have made to

(11:41):
protect the United States of America. Yet so around, ma'm
Danny has shown really no gratitude for America and the
opportunities he's been afforded.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
Here is Vice President J. D. E.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
Vance blasting him for disrespecting America on Independence Day.

Speaker 14 (11:57):
There is no gratitude in those words, no sense of
owing something to this land and the people who turned
its wilderness.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
Into the most powerful nation on earth.

Speaker 14 (12:07):
Zoron Mamdani's father fled Uganda when the tyrant Idiomen decided
to ethnically cleanse his nation's Indian population. Mamdani's family fled
violent racial hatred, only for him to come to this country,
a country built by people he never knew overflowing with
generosity to his family, offering a haven from the kind

(12:31):
of violent ethnic conflict that has commonplace in world history.
But it is not commonplace here, and he dares, on
our two hundred and forty ninth anniversary to congratulate it
by paying homage to its incompleteness and to its as
he calls it contradiction.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
Jet Evans continues, that's only a snippet of his space,
but he's absolutely right for calling them DOWNNY out for this.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
Completely.

Speaker 10 (12:57):
And it's such a striking difference from civil rights lead
in the past, people like Martin Luther King, who would
always stress the sort of beauty behind America's idealism and
it's founding principles, and he would be calling on Americans
to hark back to those principles. It seems like Mandari's
doing the complete opposite. He's almost shunning those principles and
saying we have to do better, we have to do

(13:17):
something different.

Speaker 14 (13:18):
Now.

Speaker 10 (13:19):
I did a lot of reporting on Mandani in the
lead up to this Democratic primary, and there were just
so many interscapable troops, one being that nearly all his
canvases were white, they were all pretty well off, and
almost all the working class votes that I spoke to
did not support Mandani, and that was borne out by
the data in that Democratic primary result. We saw most

(13:41):
voters earning over one hundred thousand dollars supporting Mandani, even
people living on Wall Street, and then you had people
earning less than fifty thousand dollars supporting Cuomo. So how
can you frame yourself as the man of the person
of sorry, the man of the people, when in essence
you're essentially a servant of the almost rich. They're not
quite rich. And the whole thing is a striking paradox
the Democrats are going to have to deal with going

(14:03):
into not only the midterms in twenty twenty six, but
also the presidential election in twenty twenty eight.

Speaker 3 (14:08):
Yeah, excellent point.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
Let's talk about Donald Trump and what's happening with Russia
and Ukraine. Trump is fed up with Vladimir Putin. He's
been speaking out against him, and he's now strongly considering
supporting more sanctions against Russia. Trump previously told Alais that
he doesn't believe sanctions would be that effective, but his
recent comments during a cabinet meeting suggests that he could
be changing his mind. Here is that something we're likely

(14:32):
going to see?

Speaker 1 (14:35):
Well.

Speaker 10 (14:35):
Reporting seems to suggest that he was actually never in
favor of pausing AID in the first place.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
That was the Pentagon's decision in Pete Hegstath.

Speaker 10 (14:42):
But the bigger point is certainly true that, yes, Trump
is getting pretty pissed off with Putin, and I think
we've seen that with his recent comments. I don't think
I've ever seen a president say the word twice in
world conference meeting about the same leader. But that's trump
En diplomacy for you. And frankly, it's come about a
about the right time. Every time they've tried to restart negotiations,

(15:03):
Putin ends up doing record amounts of bombing on Ukrainian cities.
Something has to be done about this. And if there's
one thing that Trump is known for, it's peace through strength.
And my understanding is that if he was to walk away,
and I understand that they are parts of the megabase
that do want this and just wipe their hands clean
of it, that is tacically, tactically acknowledging a Putin win
and it's giving him Ukraine into the hands of Putin.

(15:27):
So Trump has to do something to demonstrate the American
strength and they're the ones that will decide the terms
of this negotiation, and that's what he needs to do going.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
Forward, something a little bit more lighthearted. The new Superman
movie is coming out, and we know that Hollywood likes
to destroy great classic American films by making them woke,
and it appears that Superman is going.

Speaker 3 (15:46):
To be no exception.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
Let's just look back at the original.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
Good Evening Officer, Sir Mooney. Well, they say confession is
good for the I'd listen to this man, take them away.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
Now.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
The new Superman, to quote the director James Gunn, is
about immigration and it's about politics.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
Let's just look at the trailer today.

Speaker 13 (16:18):
The Secretary of Defense said he was going to look
into your actions.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
That's funny.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
My actions. I stopped a war? Maybe not, maybe I did.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
In effect, you illegally entered a country.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
This is how you're going to be I'm not the one.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
Being interviewed, Superman. Did you consult with the president? You
seemingly acting as a representative.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
Except war and doing good.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
It's already getting backlash and you can see why James
House is going to be received.

Speaker 10 (16:57):
Look, I'm so bored at these remakes, equals and spin
offs that there was a very little chance of me
watching this film in the first place. But since learning
about the so called political message behind it, I'm definitely
not going to see it now.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
And these kind of efforts.

Speaker 10 (17:11):
To just politicize all pop culture is just so exhausting
and it just makes no business sense to you. That
why would you try and alienate half the viewing population
in America by doing something like this, And it's just
such a ham bitted way of going about it. Calling
Superman and a legal immigrant, you have to look after
our immigrants. It just makes completely no sense whatsoever. So look,

(17:33):
we've seen this before. It's going to happen again. For
some reason, Hollywood just has to share their opinion, even
though no one in the American or Western public.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
Actually wants to hear this kind of thing. It's something
we have to put up for it.

Speaker 10 (17:44):
But in due course you have to hope that the
public will vote with their feet and they will stop
seeing this junk, and then actors and directors and all
of Hollywood will stop preaching.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
That's my dream.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
One day, Yes, I share the dream with you, James.
I want to talk to you about Greta Thunberg. The
activists made it full of herself when she went on
board that selfie yacht to Gaza, then claiming she was
kidnapped by Israel when she was denied entry into Gaza
and was sent straight back home.

Speaker 3 (18:11):
But now the Gaza Freedom.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
Flotilla is set to set sail again to Gaza. The
activist group said that we're not backing down and announced
the ship will be setting sail from Italy on July thirteenth,
though it's not clear if Greta Thunberg will be joining
this time around. How's this going to end up?

Speaker 10 (18:29):
I could be wrong here, but I'm starting to think
Gretathenburg might like attention. And I have to say that
this is like, I still beggars believe what she is
even doing here. I mean, I thought she was a
climate activist, and I'm not really sure what a conflict
in the Middle East has to do with the environment.
So it's a very strange pivot from her. It's performative
politics at its finest. It achieves absolutely nothing, and if anything,

(18:53):
it just galvanizes the sides against you. I want to
stress that in that first attempted voyage, not only did
they fail to get to Gaza, but they were then
taken to it as ready poor and fed savages by
the AIRDF Sandwiches. By the way, they probably could have
gone through a humanitarian corridor and end up in Gaza.
So again, I have very little sympathy for these kind

(19:14):
of efforts. They don't achieve anything that they state to
claim or states want to aim, and the whole thing needs.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
To be put to an end. I hope she does not
participate in it.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
James Biller, we have to leave it there. It's so
good to talk to you. Thank you so much for
joining us.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
On Power Hour.

Speaker 1 (19:28):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
It's time for Mediam meltdowns. Well Elliot this week where
he brought you the unhinged and insufferable Joy Reid, who
was one of the many left wing lunatics pushing a
new theory that Donald Trump is planning to never leave office.
In fact, he'll be staying there for the rest of

(19:52):
his life.

Speaker 15 (19:54):
He's not acting like somebody who's worried about the consequences
of that. This is somebody who's behaving as an autocrat
because they You don't any more believe he said it
during an election. I don't need your votes anymore, and
he doesn't. I don't think Trump intends to leave office.
I'm very clear about that. I think he intends to
stay in office like Putin, until he dies.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
And it's not just the works sacked MSNBC host coming
up with this new narrative. Stacy Abrahams has appeared on
Jimmy Kimmel Live, where she claims that because Donald Trump
brought in the National Guard and eyes to restore law
and order and deport illegals as he promised he would,
this must mean that ultimately he'll be canceling all future elections.

Speaker 16 (20:35):
You send the US Marines into spaces they should not be,
You send the National Guard in, You kidnap people off
of the streets and pretend that's normal, because that's how
you quiet dissent, because you make everyone afraid that if
they don't do what you want, they might be next.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
And once you've done.

Speaker 16 (20:50):
Those nine steps, steps ten is easy, that's when you
decide there won't be new elections because everyone's either afraid, poor, broken,
or complicit.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
That brings me to James Carville, who went onto the
gym Acosta Show to say that Donald Trump will call
off the midterms and we should all be very scared.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
With what they're trying to pull these days.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
They don't want accountability, they don't want Democrats getting the
gavels in the House and the Senate be able to
hold hearings and start impeachment proceedings and so on.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
I mean, do you worry about that?

Speaker 17 (21:23):
James?

Speaker 18 (21:26):
Short word yes, in the longer words, very okay, And
I think what may happen. He's going to see the
writing on the wall. I don't put anything past you,
nothing to try to call the election off, to do
anything you can. He can think of things like that.

(21:46):
You know, we can't because we're not accustomed to thinking
like that. We always assume there's going to be election,
and your case out of our cover election, my cage.
How to affect the election if we don't think about it.
This is a whole new thing. But the person that
wrote in on this, you know, people comes with me
all the time and say change. I'm really scared.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
I said, you should be.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
Joining us now from Phoenix, Arizona is broadcaster and commentated
Josh Bernstein, Josh, thanks so much for joining us. What
do you make of this new theory the left is pushing.

Speaker 9 (22:20):
Look, I think the bottom line is President Trump has
joked about twenty twenty eight, and of course they don't
see that as a joke that you know, they feeds
into their dictator narrative if you will. But the reality
is is that he will be leaving office as a
successful president, one of the most successful presidents in history,

(22:40):
and they're very upset about the fact that we are
removing their illegal voter base. That's exactly what's happening here.
That's why they don't want the census to not count them.
They want, you know, we want it to just count
American citizens. They wanted to account everyone, including the allegal aliens,

(23:02):
so that they can of course manipulate districts and gain
more house seats. We're understanding of the nature of their game.
And now thankfully this administration is doing what it promised
in regards to immigration, and I think it's great. I
think that they are getting rid of a lot of
these people that perhaps would commit future fraud in elections

(23:25):
and be voting in elections when they're not US citizens.
So I think it's great.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
I want to talk to you about Ice and the
protests around I see just a moment, but I want
to talk to you first about Joe Biden's former physician,
doctor Kevin O'Connor, has pleaded the fifth of course, that
is the right to remain silent to avoid self incrimination
in a closed door house hearing, refusing to answer multiple
questions about Joe Biden's health. He cited medical confidentiality and

(23:53):
an ongoing DOJ probe, fueling claims, of course, of a
cover up. But he was asked, we ever told to
lie about the president's health? Did you ever believe that
President Biden was unfit to execute his duty? And we
didn't really get an answer. I mean, what do you
make of this?

Speaker 9 (24:11):
Well, what I make of this is that James Comer
ought to do an immediate request to the Department of
Justice to have him in contempt criminal contempt and of
course meet the same exact situation that Peter Navarro and
Stephen Bannon had to deal with, which was two counts

(24:33):
of criminal contempt, an indictment, a conviction, and four months
in jail, an imprisonment. And that's exactly what this doctor
should have because for him to go and say what
he said, I understand the Fifth Amendment and everything else,
and you don't have to be compelled to testify, But
then again, you should be held in contempt and you

(24:54):
should then go to jail for not testifying. That's exactly
the same exact treatment Stephen k Bean and Peter Navarro
had to suffer from. So why can't doctor O'Connor do
the same.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
Let's return to ice right now.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
ICE agents are being targeted and according to the Department
of Homeland Security, a taxa up nearly seven hundred percent.
We're seeing this multiple places around the country, and tensions
boiled over in San Francisco as protesters clashed with ICE
agents outside the city's immigration courthouse.

Speaker 13 (25:27):
Let's just take a look.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
ICE agents and other federal law enforcement officers were targeted
in at least two ambushes in Texas in recent days,
and that the President, Donald Trump has blasted these attacks
and has called for long jail sentences for those involved.

Speaker 7 (26:08):
And what do you think the penalty should be for
these people who are if they are found guilty? For you,
very stiff shoot at ICE officers.

Speaker 11 (26:17):
Very very stiff, very stiff, A long time in jail,
a long time. And one got hit yesterday in the
neck and he fortunately it's going to be okay. But
he got hit yesterday in the neck.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
No good.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
Donald Trump also made the point that when masked protesters
formed Harvard University, there was no outrage. But a patriotic
ICE agent wears one for safety, and suddenly that's a
big scandal. And of course that's the Democrat double standard.
For you, what are your thoughts on what's happening to
two ICE agents.

Speaker 9 (26:54):
Well, it's obviously terrible that this is happening to these
law enforcement agents. In the blanks of what President Trump
didn't say, what he's referring to is US Code eighteen
one one one three, which is attempted murder of an
ICE officer or a federal officer in general, and that
is a twenty year stiff penalty in jail. And so

(27:16):
when he says very very stiff, that's exactly what he's
talking about. And I believe that's exactly what the Department
of Justice is going to put forward for these folks
that are attacking ICE officers. An attempted murder charge is
twenty years in prison. We've got to stop this violence
against these ICE officers. You know, we just passed the

(27:36):
one big, beautiful bill. One hundred and seventy billion dollars
has gone to border enforcement and immigration, including the hiring
of at least ten thousand additional ICE agents, which subsequently
is going to make more ICE arrests and more ICE
agents viable and visible in a lot of these different

(27:56):
blue cities around the country. So they're going to need
to get used to it, and we need to start
setting precedent by arresting these folks that attack ICE agents
and then saying publicly what the punishment will be.

Speaker 2 (28:10):
Well, it's interesting even left wing outlet see Men were
forced to report that it's clear the majority of Americans
back Donald Trump's deportation policy and want to see every
illegal immigrant supported.

Speaker 6 (28:23):
Let's look at this, all immigrants who are here illegally
fifty five percent of the New York Times, Marquette sixty
four percent, CBS News fifty seven percent, ABC News with
a slightly different question fifty six percent. So what you're
seeing essentially here is very clear indication that a majority
of Americans, in fact, when they're asked us one question,

(28:43):
which I believe gets that the underlying feelings, do in
fact want to deport all immigrants who are here illegally.
There's no arguing with these different numbers because they're all
essentially the same across four different posters.

Speaker 3 (28:54):
Yet the left of fighting against this.

Speaker 9 (28:58):
Yeah, it's amazing Harrite can keep his job because he
is definitely souring some people's minds over there at CNN,
the seventeen viewers that essentially are still watching that horrible channel.
But I digress What I would say though, is this
those are more than likely registered voters rather than likely voters,
So you can actually add ten percent, maybe even twelve

(29:20):
percent to all of those numbers, so they're actually even
much higher than what Stephen being reported. Look, the bottom
line is this president won this election based on the
number one issue, which was of course, immigration enforcement and
closing down the border, and that is exactly what this
president has been able to do in record time. I

(29:41):
might add as well, so the American people are still
solidly for immigration enforcement, regardless of what some of these
radicals on the left think.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
Let's turn to the devastating flooding in Texas. The search
for more than one hundred and seventy people still missing
continues as slash floods devastated central Texas, and that search
has stretched into a sixth day as the death toll
continues to rise. At least one hundred and twenty people
have been confirmed dead according to local law enforcement, and

(30:13):
it is absolutely heartbreaking. Right here in Australia, we're thinking
of everyone who's been impacted. What has also made headlines
here in Australia is Coastguard rescue swimmer Scott Ruskin, who
is being hailed a hero after his first mission helping
to save the lives of one hundred and sixty five people.
And we have to say a huge thank you to Scott,

(30:34):
the US military, first responders, and all volunteers, brave Americans
who are putting themselves at risk to save others.

Speaker 9 (30:43):
Absolutely. Look, the first thing that I will say is
my thoughts in prayers go out to all of the
victims in Texas. Currville was really really hit bad, more
than such other areas, although a lot of areas around
Currville were hit as well. But you know, that's just
one story. There's multiple stories out there of heroism and

(31:07):
patriotism and people just you know, getting together and helping
out their fellow neighbors. You know, they're not doing what
FEMA did and looking for signs in the front yard
and okay, they're actually helping these people. They want to
make sure that these people are being saved and are
being rescued. And you know, there was one story of
a young man who saved his entire family and then

(31:28):
sadly drowned, but he did save his entire family. So
the amount of sacrifice that we are seeing in Texas
and elsewhere is just overwhelming. It's just amazing, and it
just shows the heart and soul of the people of
Texas and people around the country that really truly do care.

Speaker 3 (31:45):
Yeah. Absolutely.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
Flash flooding is also devastated the mountain village of Rhodisso
and killed at least three people in southern New Mexico.
Triggered by and intense monsoon rains, rushing floodwaters swept away home.

Speaker 3 (31:59):
So the vision is unbelievable. Look at this.

Speaker 8 (32:03):
Wow, Oh my gosh, oh no, oh no, oh.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
My gosh, Oh my gosh, Oh my.

Speaker 8 (32:14):
God, Oh my god.

Speaker 9 (32:18):
No.

Speaker 2 (32:25):
I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like that before.
I just want to end on a final note. It's
official that the UFC has confirmed President Trump's plan to
host a fight on the White House grounds to commemorate
America's two hundred and fiftieth anniversary. The event is expected
to draw twenty thousand spectators and repart of a series
of celebrations dubbed America to fifty.

Speaker 3 (32:48):
Are you excited about this.

Speaker 9 (32:49):
Josh, Yeah, I am. I think it's really interesting. You know,
I know that I think his name is James Jones.
He was the goat or the champion of UFC, and
he recently retired, and he should come out a retirement
for one last fight, just for this event. I think
that would be spectacular. But look, you know, some people
are trying to say, oh, this is the Roman Empire

(33:11):
and this is what happens at the end of the
empire and everything else. That's just not the case. We
know that President Trump has been a lifelong boxing fan,
a lifelong UFC fan. He's good close friends with Dana White,
and so this is just another way to celebrate masculinity,
if you will, and in the way of the Golden
Age in America. So I think it's going to be

(33:34):
a huge, huge hit and I can't wait to see it.

Speaker 2 (33:37):
Jeff Benstein, thank you so much for joining us on Power.

Speaker 3 (33:40):
Our really appreciate it anytime, any topic.

Speaker 2 (33:46):
French President Emanue mccron and his wife Bridget have continued
their historic state visit to the United Kingdom as guests
of King Charles.

Speaker 3 (33:54):
Riley Sullivan.

Speaker 2 (33:55):
He's a lifestyle reporter here at Skynwes dot com dot
and he's always across the latest celebrity headlines.

Speaker 3 (34:01):
Riley, great to see you.

Speaker 2 (34:02):
So excited to be back mccron and his wife Bridget.
They arrived in the UK for their state visit and
Bridget appears well, not to slap her husband this time,
but snubs him.

Speaker 3 (34:13):
Let's take a look at yours. Oh, it is so awkward.

Speaker 2 (34:30):
She knows the cameras are on them at all times.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
Riley, what did you make of this?

Speaker 17 (34:35):
Well, that's a very good point. She knows the cameras
are on them. Of course they're touching down in the UK.
All eyes are on them. The Prince and Princess of
Wales are standing there waiting, and she's stead of swatting
him away. It's quite interesting, you know. I think all
eyes have been on Bridget Macron ever since that infamous
clip recently when we saw her physically appearing to physically

(34:55):
attack her husband when they're in Vietnam. So certainly, you know,
there's so much speculation in about what's going on with
the Macrons. I think that it's been a kind of
an unfortunate start to the royal visit because it does
sort of immediately distract away from what's supposed to be
quite a positive thing and make it kind of, you know,
a speculation about their marriage. But yeah, very interesting it's

(35:19):
kind of I don't know, I'd love to be a
fly on the wall with the macrons.

Speaker 3 (35:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:24):
Absolutely. Princess Catherine was arguably the star attraction during the
first day of the state visit, after making her first
banquet appearance in two years in a stunning red gown
and a tiara. Can you talk to us about the
significance behind Kate's wardrobe?

Speaker 17 (35:39):
Absolutely, you know, I think Kate was this star of
the first day of the royal visit. She it was
kind of a surprise. We knew that she'd be there
for the arrival. Of course, she wore a deal suit,
that pale pink deal suit, very elegant and very diplomatic.
Of course, do you being a French house, they've just
hired a Northern Irish designer, Jonathan Anderson, so very diplomatic

(36:00):
to have a French fashion house with a British designer.
And yeah, and then of course the banquet as well.
I think that was quite a surprise. We only found
out about nineteen minutes before the banquet began that Kate
would be going. Of course, she's really easing her way
back into royal duties after her cancer treatment, and it
was really amazing to see her. You know, she had

(36:21):
the full regalia on. She had the Queen Mary lovers,
not Tiara, which is this really iconic piece. Of course,
Princess Diana famously wore that Tiara a lot. And the
dress as well was very special. It was a Juvont dress,
which was a little bit controversial because of course Juvon
she was the designer that made Mega Markle's wedding dress, right,
so probably a brand a little bit more associated with

(36:42):
the Duchess of Sussex. But they have a new designer
at Juvont she as well, and that's Sarah Burton. And
we know that Sarah Burton is an absolute favorite of
Princess Catherine. She of course was the designer at Alexander
McQueen for ever a decade. She designed Princess Katharin's wedding dress.
She designed a lot of pieces that Kate wears on repeat. Essentially,

(37:02):
so very interesting to sit to see her. I think
we're going to be seeing her in a lot more.
Yvon she to come, but just a really wonderful start.

Speaker 3 (37:10):
To the visit.

Speaker 17 (37:10):
This is the first state visit by a French president
since Nicolas Sarkozzi in two thousand and eight, so certainly
a real show of soft power and Kate.

Speaker 1 (37:18):
Was the star.

Speaker 18 (37:19):
You know.

Speaker 17 (37:19):
There was a report in the Daily Beast that came
out on Wednesday speaking to some of the Palace insiders
and they said they were so relieved to see Kate
not only there at the airport but also at their
dinner because it really draws so much positive attention and
maybe away from the awkwardness with Bridget and Emmanuel Macron
that we saw, I think that Kate really did save

(37:40):
the day.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
As always that Wimbledon, the Grand Slam, is also currently
underway in the UK, with all eyes on the iconic
Royal Box on Center Court. So who have we been
seeing in the box this year?

Speaker 17 (37:52):
Yeah, well it's been a very star started year for
the Royal Box at Wimbledon. Every day. It's super fun
to look through. There's about eighty seats inside the inside
the box and it's often celebrities and of course royals
and not just British royals, you know, we had of course,
Denmark's King Frederick was there earlier this week with the
Duchess of Edinburgh. Of course we saw Fergie with Princess

(38:14):
Beatrice last week and just yesterday, Queen Camilla made her
first appearance in the box this year, So I think
it's a real treat, you know. I think wimboedd And
is such an iconic tennis tournament, but the royal fever
around the tournament is always sort of part of the attraction.
I think for anyone sitting on center court, they're always
sort of having a look over into the Royal Box.

(38:35):
And in recent years, you know, it's an interesting thing.
We've seen a lot more celebrities in the box. I
think that, you know, the Royal family is certainly the
star attraction, but you're just as likely to see an
A list actress or actor as much as you are
to see someone from the royal family. But yeah, I
think all eys are going to be on the box,
especially coming up for the finals this weekend.

Speaker 2 (38:56):
And as you mentioned, Princess Catherine is slowly returning to
rold duties after her cancer treatment, but recently pulled out
of an appearance at Ascott. Do we know yet if
Kate will be handing out trophies at wimburedon this weekend?

Speaker 11 (39:09):
Right?

Speaker 17 (39:09):
Well, of course she is the patron, so it's expected
that she will appear of course, who could forget last
year's appearance. It was I mean I had goosebumps watching
that standing ovation when Kate made her grand return to
Wimbledon amid her cancer treatment last year. It was the
first time we'd seen her in months, and it was
a last minute thing again, and I think it'll be
the same this year. I do believe that she will

(39:31):
show up. I think that the fact that she's only
really been present during the first day of the French visit,
I think that probably suggests that she is planning to
sort of conserve her energy and really focus on Wimbledon.
We know it's a very important charity that not charity,
but a patron role that she's in because she's a
huge fan of tennis. You know, it was one of
her favorite pastimes before a couple of years ago. We'd

(39:53):
see her at Wimbledon, you know, a few times every year,
so I think she will rally for this. I think
that she takes it very seriously and it is very
special to have the Princess of Wales handing out the trophies,
So I would I'd be pretty confident that you'll show up.
But I think it's going to be one of those things.
It'll be very last minute, she'll make her entrance and
looking forward to it.

Speaker 2 (40:14):
So Prince William has announced that he will no longer
charge rent to charities after investigation into the Duchy of
Cornwall raised some eyebrows.

Speaker 3 (40:22):
What exactly did the investigation reveal?

Speaker 17 (40:25):
Yeah, so this was a big report that came out
into the Duchy of Cornwall, which is of course essentially
as Prince of Wales, William draws a salary or I
guess you could say an income from the Duchy. It's
a huge sort of landholdings across England. That's really where
the royal family gets a lot of the money that
they use for their own personal use. That's really where

(40:45):
they generate their living. So the whole Wales family is
essentially living off that income and it is through collecting
rents on the land and things like that. And there
was a report that came out recently it really drilled
down into how much money then making and it's a lot,
you know, it's something like twenty three million pounds that
William is generating each year from the Duchy of Cornwell. Previously,

(41:08):
of course that was King Charles, and in the past
two years it's now William because Charles has taken on
the Duchy of Lancaster, which is sort of a similar arrangement.
The thing is, though, I think that made people kind
of raise eyebrows a little bit, was the charities. So
there's a lot of charitable organizations that are paying a
small quite small actually you know, rental income to the

(41:30):
Prince of Wales, and I think people kind of felt
that was a little bit maybe poor taste, you know,
some of these sort of small grassroots organizations. I don't
think it was really appropriate and to be you know,
to William's credit, he and his team have immediately rectified
that situation. A lot of the charities now will not
be expected to pay any rent to the Duchy of Cornwell.

Speaker 3 (41:50):
I think that's the right move.

Speaker 17 (41:51):
I think it's really proactive, and I think it's a
real glimpse as well into how William is going to
be as monarch in the future. I think he's the
kind of person is willing to accept a mistake, you know,
he's willing to change, he's willing to be on the
front foot, and I think that that's a really positive sign.

Speaker 1 (42:09):
For the future.

Speaker 3 (42:10):
Absolutely. Riley Sullivan, thank you. So much.

Speaker 1 (42:12):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (42:12):
Great to talk to you again always.

Speaker 2 (42:17):
