Thomasville WWTP: Major Water & Sewer Upgrades

The Thomasville WWTP in Georgia is set to undergo a major water and sewer upgrade project, with a contract price estimated at around $60,000. This project, managed under a CMAR contract, will involve significant improvements including the demolition of existing structures and the construction of new aeration basins and a secondary clarifier. Additionally, anaerobic digesters will be converted to aerobic systems.
The upgrades will also include enhancements to head works, the installation of new pump stations, and electrical work, which involves building a new facility and generator. An administrative and operations building will also be constructed.
Pre-construction services are slated to begin in September 2025, with construction kicking off in July 2026. The project is expected to reach final completion by October 2028.
