(00:42):
Thanks for tuning in.
Well hello everyone and welcome to the broadcast today.
I've been waiting for weeks to be able to present this very, very special guest on the

(01:05):
show today.
His name is Kevin Cornwell, and he's also known as the Kevin and the medium without
the fluff.
We're going to have an opportunity to meet Kevin today and talk to him about himself
and his work, and it's going to be quite a treat.
I'm very excited and I know the listeners will enjoy hearing from you today, Kevin,

(01:26):
and getting to know you better as I've had the opportunity to.
As we've done in the past, I had the benefit or the opportunity to talk to you a few weeks
ago, a few weeks back, just to kind of map out the program and talk about what we'd like
to present, and that was a very, very enjoyable experience for me.
And now I'm able to do it live with you.

(01:46):
So as a way of introduction, I'd like to let folks know a little bit about you.
So Kevin is a professional psychic and medium.
He's based in the UK folks.
And this is very special today because it's our first ever medium from the UK, but it's
also our very, very first guest from outside the USA.

(02:09):
So I think he probably, Kevin deserves a special recognition and an award for that.
In addition to working in the UK, he's a successful teacher and an educator with 114 videos on
YouTube.
And these comprise many, many years of experience.
And the series he presents on YouTube is called You, Me, and Mediumship series.

(02:33):
And I encourage you to check that out.
It's quite enjoyable.
And that's how I came to discover Kevin.
Of course, I think there was a couple of sleepless nights when I spent too much time while I
was watching the videos.
Kevin is classically trained from the UK and he learned from the great mediums of England
or from England.
That makes him very unique to our broadcast.

(02:56):
He's an author.
He's a speaker and active promoter of classic methodology of psychic development.
Although he has a different twist on things.
He has his own spin and you're going to come to understand that because he's going to tell
us about that.
Most especially, he has a very unique and special approach to teaching mediumship and
spirit communication, which as I say, we're going to hear more about.

(03:19):
Kevin has a very active lifestyle.
One of the things that always impresses me when I speak to guests on the program is some
of their lifestyle.
What do they do?
And Kevin is very, very active.
He's chopped out some time in his schedule for us today.
It's the end of his day.
I'm very grateful for that.
It's a very dynamic kind of life.

(03:40):
If you're a medium or a person who's a wannabe medium or you're looking at this, it's
very time consuming.
So Kevin has made some time for us and balancing his lifestyle with his work and his professional
stuff.
So Kevin, welcome to the broadcast.
It's wonderful to have you here today.
Thank you very much, Pete.

(04:00):
Thank you.
As a way of sort of jumpstarting our conversation today, our little chat, I'd like to read a
quote that you've written I think is very inspirational.
Kevin writes, he's a channel to help those on the road of mediumship.
I love that, to help.
Not always going with the traditional flow.

(04:24):
Individuality is the key and building a relationship with spirit and the source of all that is.
Wow.
Folks, we've hit gold today.
So Kevin, welcome.
Thank you.
I'm giddy with excitement today.
So before we get any farther, let's just dig into that unique teaching style that we come

(04:49):
to associate with you.
Could you tell us a little bit about that?
Yeah, I can tell you about that.
Personally I believe that mediumship is a personal thing.
It's your relationship that you build with spirit over time.
There is, well there are no greater teachers than the spirit themselves.

(05:09):
So it's important that through obviously building that relationship with spirit that we dedicate
more time to that side of things rather than sit going on courses, reading books, things
like that.
If we could just narrow this down to time sat in that silence, call it sitting in the

(05:32):
power, call it what you like.
Yet another label obviously that we've created for ourselves to try and explain that very
process.
It's not one that I go on too much about.
I'd rather call it something like sitting with spirit and self so that many of the students

(05:52):
I work with struggle because they try and follow other techniques, other people's techniques
in sitting in the power, reaching out for spirit.
There are all kinds of weird and wonderful ideas out there about how mediumship works.
And at the end of the day, this is a very natural process.

(06:15):
It's something that is within all.
It's not something special.
I will get many people disagree with me here.
I do not believe that mediumship is a gift at all.
I believe that the ability side of mediumship links directly with age of soul.
I believe that that is what or why some people have a natural gift.

(06:41):
I believe that they are more than likely old souls.
Those that are not quite as, I'm not going to use the word gifted, I've got to talk my
way around that, but those that have not quite grasped that ability of communication, maybe
a younger soul, that just needs some guidance.
And basically that's what my teaching is.

(07:03):
It is guidance.
It is not teaching.
And the way I describe that is that I can take you to that door and that door will be
locked and it's up to you to find that key.
And the only way you will find that key is by sitting with spirit, listening, absorbing

(07:25):
and understanding what they are trying to teach you.
I have spent many years sitting in circles, listening to courses, listening to videos,
many years.
And one, I won't mention it, but one well-known medium said to me, Kevin, do it your way.

(07:48):
And that's exactly what I decided to do.
So your relationship with spirit is something that you need to concentrate on, work on,
get to know those energies that are around you, those that wish to work with you.
And it's a very personal thing.
You cannot blanket teach that.

(08:09):
We are all individuals.
We all have that life force that runs through us all.
We all have that as does everything that surrounds us.
And all we need to work with is that life source.
We need to connect with that life source and be able to communicate with it.

(08:31):
So spirit, sometimes I think we overthink, there's too much of the categorizing of different
energies, different realms.
And we do that because we are very restricted in what we can truly understand.
And it's man himself.

(08:54):
If he doesn't understand something, he will make it fit somewhere.
He will give it a label.
He will create something so that he can understand it.
But what we need to accept more than anything is we will not understand it all.
We are not capable of understanding it all.
And there are spirit energies out there that I've worked with that do not understand it

(09:20):
all.
Because they still have restriction.
And it's not until they move on towards that purity, that light of source, that things
start to fit together.
So our understanding is something that builds over many lifetimes.
We're not going to sit here today or tomorrow and understand the reasoning of everything.

(09:45):
That is not going to happen.
We will make it up.
We will create things.
We will unfortunately, there are many different religions, many different gods that have been
created in the name of this life source, this energy that we work with.
And all that does really, apart from obviously it's caused an awful lot of pain and suffering,

(10:09):
all that does is cause confusion.
So we are all part of that life source that we have flowing through us.
And it's important that we attach ourselves to that.
We don't lose sight of that and we work with that.
That's why I teach individuals individually, basically, because we are all unique.

(10:38):
We all have different emotions, different perspectives, different experiences.
It's those things that spirit work with.
They understand us better than what we understand ourselves.
So in line to be able to have a clear channel with that energy, they need to learn as much

(11:01):
about us as we do about them.
Something that I heard the other day, which I found annoying, I hear many things that
I find annoying, but this one thing that stood out was that a teacher wrote down a list of
symbols and their meaning next to each individual symbol and said to the class, this is what

(11:26):
these symbols mean.
So if for argument's sake you saw an apple, it means maybe that it's a grandmother because
you used to cook apple pies and it's made up all these different things.
And I'm thinking, oh no, no, no, no, no.
An apple to one person means one thing.

(11:47):
An apple to another person means another.
That could mean to you something completely different.
And spirit are aware of that.
They are aware of what these symbols mean to you.
We don't all work with symbols, obviously.
We don't need to work with symbols.
We sense voice, we sense energy, we sense emotion, we sense even nationality.

(12:10):
We sense it is a sense.
It is a vibration.
It is simply a thought.
So as spirit merge with us, as they send that thought out, that vibration out to us, sometimes
they will use our experience, our own senses, our own emotions to get that message across.

(12:33):
So that's why we must spend time sitting with spirit.
And the old school mediums, if they felt that their work wasn't up to scratch, the very
first thing they would do would spend more time sitting with spirit.
So that's basically how I work.
The easiest thing for me would be that everybody just forgot everything and started from scratch.

(13:01):
Now, I've got some people that have worked as mediums for a few years and just wanted
to kind of brush up on what they do.
I've got some that have never, ever worked in mediumship at all.
They understand that they have this sense.
They know that when there's an energy around them, they just want to know how to make that

(13:22):
connection and make it work.
And if we could just, the way I work is I get to know my students first, because then
I know where that foundation lies.
So I will look for it.
I will try and find that foundation to work from.
That will take a lesson or two with them before I've got an idea of where to point them, what

(13:49):
direction to point them in.
So I get to know it's important that we gel, our energies gel, we work together.
I'm a guide in a sense.
I am not a teacher.
I can just, like I said, take you to that door, that door is locked and it is up to

(14:10):
you to find that key.
I will not turn everyone into mediums in six weeks, as promised on many, many videos that
you watch.
It does not happen.
It's cruel.
You know, it's very upsetting to see these things and it's very upsetting to see the
amount of money that people spend, ridiculous amounts of money.

(14:33):
And at the end of the day, they come out the other side with absolutely no step forward
at all.
They are just upset.
I've had people that have spent, I would say, I would call it my life savings, the amount
of money they've spent on this.

(14:53):
And it is cruel.
This is a natural ability.
And it's not something that you can just teach.
You know, like I said, connect with spirit, sit with them, they will do the teaching,
they will do the blending with you.
Sitting in the power is a great exercise.

(15:13):
It started from the year dot many moons ago, many famous mediums have obviously designed
guided meditations and things like that to help you with that.
A lot of my students struggle with it.
And they struggle with it because they expect.

(15:34):
And the secret is do not expect anything.
Just be.
You cannot expect anything to happen.
Just sit in that moment, absorb that energy, enjoy that energy, soak up that, that love,
that light, enjoy and be at peace.
Do not expect anything.

(15:56):
And many of the meditation talk of lights on the chest, you expand the light from the
chest, it fills the room, it fills the house, it fills the world.
And at that point, many of the students have just turned it off, walked away.
I can't do that.
I don't know.
I can't imagine it.
I'm struggling with that.

(16:17):
And my simple answer to them is if you have the right intent, if you have the hope and
open heart, that is your light.
That is your expansion because spirit will pick up on that.
Not an artificial light that you're trying to expand from your chest is not going to

(16:37):
mean anything to spirit.
In a sense, it kind of artificially expands self in a certain way.
But the power behind true intent and a hope and heart is far more powerful than what an
artificial expansion of self is.

(16:58):
So it's well worth really don't worry about sitting in the power.
Just be.
Sit in that silence.
And many of the great gurus and even many of the religious figures, you read many holy
books and there are very few, if any, that turn around and say, right, I'm off now to
go and sit in the power.

(17:19):
No.
They just went in their peace, in their silence, into the woods, on the mountains, wherever.
They just went and sat in that silence.
No mention of power.
No mention of expansion.
No mention of expectation.
Just be and sit in that silence.

(17:42):
That is how spirit works with you.
That's how they learn about you.
That's how you learn about them.
And the best teacher in the world cannot equate to what they can teach you.
So basically, that's where I'm at.
That's what I do.
That's utterly brilliant.
I just, it's just amazing to listen to that expert sort of perspective.

(18:08):
It's quite remarkable.
And the thing I, the takeaway I'm getting from it, and I know the listeners will as
well is, you know, you have a very practical down earth grounded, non-complicated decluttering
kind of approach to this yourself, which is a very healthy kind of a helpful, right, energy.
So this is what you're bringing to it for the student.
And you also, you mentioned several wonderful things that resonate with me and my own philosophy,

(18:33):
which is, you know, you facilitate sort of a natural experience by creating a comfort
zone or a comfort level for the student or the person who's seeking, right, the seeker,
to enjoy and you facilitate that naturally and you allow it to occur and unfold.
Because in my own experience, I was in a group.
I've only known a group experience of learning with other people.

(18:56):
And of course we all come to this, not all of us, but most of us come to this with our
own, our own stuff, right?
Our own ideas, our own philosophies, our own, let's say baggage, you know what I mean?
By focusing on the individual, getting to know them, investing the time and energy to
find out where they are and guide them, you use the word guide, that enables them to really

(19:20):
succeed.
And I'm sure that you have a lot of successful students using this approach.
And it's very, very exciting.
And I'm so glad you're able to share that today with us.
Today if you just joined us folks, we're talking to Kevin Cornwell and I want to give the email
address.
So Kevin, correct me if I have the wrong one, but I think we're going to use the kevincornwellmedium

(19:41):
at outlook.com as your contact for people.
Yeah, I also have another, an email, which is probably would be better, I believe, is
Where Two Worlds Meet.
I think there was a book written with those, that very title, but it's where two worlds
meet at live.co.uk. (WhereTwoWorldsMeet@live.co.uk)
Yeah, by all means, well, you can message me either through even on YouTube, I've got

(20:07):
Patreon as well for "You, Me and Mediumship".
And there's plenty of ways of contacting and I'm always there, basically.
A lot of the students I work with sometimes will experience something midway between our
meetings and they'll send me a message over.
I'm there, I'm always there.
I'm not somebody who just ignores it till the next meeting.

(20:30):
I'm there to help, to guide and I love it.
I enjoy it so much and I've met some wonderful people.
And I just, I want to say on here, because obviously I guess they will listen to this,
that I am so grateful for the people that have come join me.
We are on a kind of mission.

(20:51):
We are gradually trying to get rid of the fluff, if you like.
That's one way of putting it.
And a lot of the students that I work with, there's always an element of fear, getting
it wrong, trust.
There's, you always get that.
And there is a way of overcoming that.

(21:13):
I've worked with them overcoming that.
I've got a lady in Australia now who's going out there doing readings, doing very well.
She wouldn't have dreamt of doing that a few months ago.
I've got other students that are experiencing more by sitting for spirit and self.

(21:35):
We've done away with some of the fluff and we literally sit for self and spirit in that
silence and they are experiencing some wonderful things.
Like I said, it's not something you should expect, but it's happening for them.
And which warms my heart because I think, yes, I'm doing something right here.

(22:00):
This is right.
It's, I'm not doing this to put anybody down.
That is not my intention at all.
I know what I know.
I teach what I teach simply through asking spirit for guidance.
I will sit with questions.
I will write down answers of what I get.

(22:23):
And I have learned so much in the last couple of years.
It's absolutely unbelievable.
Things that I thought I knew, what I thought I had learned from books and courses and some
of the things are so, well, what, the only way I can describe this is the simplicity,

(22:50):
the simplicity behind mediumship.
It has been made too technical and I believe there is reason for that.
I believe in a way it's been made a kind of niche, not a nice way of putting it, but a
niche market.
People have made an awful lot of money out of this and it's upsetting.

(23:14):
It's wrong.
It should not be that way.
And I think we actually, we do see people come and go quite regularly.
And I believe that maybe that is the reason why, because it is, we are making it too plastic.
We are making it fit into a material world.
And it shouldn't be that way.

(23:35):
It will not fit into a material world.
You cannot do that.
You cannot make sense of it.
You don't need to make sense of it.
You just need to work with it.
And I think I don't want to see the whole spiritual essence of what we do go down the
wrong road like certain religions have in some respect.

(23:59):
There is only one truth.
That truth is within us all.
We cannot alter it.
We cannot make it suit.
And any religion that tries to do that, I just do not understand how they can warrant
it, how they can turn around and say, times are changing.

(24:20):
What we didn't allow then, we allow now.
Truth cannot be changed.
It doesn't mean that what we read is all truth.
What has been written is all truth.
At the end of the day, it is someone else's perception of what they understood from what

(24:41):
they saw, from what they understood of what was said.
And if there are some beautiful passages in many of the holy books that if you would just
sit and allow those words to be absorbed by self, you will then start to understand what

(25:03):
those words truly meant.
It's easy to put a label onto something.
Human beings, it's something we do.
We label everything.
We have to, because otherwise I guess we just wouldn't function.
But we need to be careful with self, that energy, that life source, the beauty of that,

(25:24):
that the naturalness of that.
We cannot start putting labels onto it and think we understand it.
We need just to work with it.
We don't need to totally understand it.
We don't need to know that.
We just need to be and sit with it in that moment and allow that energy, that purity

(25:49):
to work through us.
We do not need to question it.
We just need to work with it.
That's what I believe, wholeheartedly.
That's why I believe mediumship itself is simply a natural part of who we are.
It is no wonderful gift.

(26:10):
If there are many mediums that we put on pedestals and the minute they make a mistake we knock
them down, that's all wrong.
We are responsible for putting fame into mediumship.
We are the ones who put them on pedestals.
We are the ones who do that.
They don't do that themselves.

(26:30):
They just do a job.
They go out there, do a job.
We like what they do and we make them famous.
We cannot blame them for anything.
We do that.
A medium is only good as their last message.
That's what everybody says.
The same thing.
A medium is only as good as their last message.

(26:50):
It's important that we do this correctly.
We do it with an open heart.
We do it with the right intent.
That is what we must do.
Spirit see that as your expansion.
I'm repeating myself a little bit but it's an important aspect of what people should
be looking at when they are learning, if you like, if they are just beginning on their

(27:15):
journey of mediumship.
You don't need anything artificial there.
You don't need any of that music in the background, somebody talking you through a woods, somebody
laying you on a beach and listening to the waves.
Before you know it, you're probably not off anyway.
But what's important is you send out that love, that intent, that open heart.

(27:41):
There's your expansion.
There's your energy.
That's what spirit will see.
That will be the light that draws them towards you, your open heart.
Very, very true.
Yes.
That's definitely a pearl of wisdom, isn't it?
And truth.
You talk about truth and that's something that always resonates with me.

(28:02):
And it's my perception.
You talked about truth and people's perceptions.
It's my perception that you are very passionate about what you talk about in your teaching
and in helping other people learn and in making your videos, it comes through very, very clearly,
energetically.
You're conveying something you feel very, very passionately about.
And truth is something that resonates with people because we're seeking that, aren't

(28:26):
we?
There are tremendous amounts of wisdom that you're imparting here today on the podcast.
Thank you.
Yes.
When we spoke before, another quote of Kevin Cornwell's is the love that he infuses in
the light and the energy that he infuses into all of his work is his attitude towards this

(28:46):
type of work, being a light worker.
And he's referred to doing this as the best job in the world.
I think it's pretty evident that when you talk about what you're just talking about
it, it's inspiring to me, certainly.
So can I-
This is just the expression that you get sometimes.

(29:08):
I mean, I've got one of my students who I don't think to my knowledge that she'd actually
done any readings whatsoever.
She'd sit for self.
She'd sit in the energy and I could just see when I was talking to her on one of our meetings
and I just knew and I felt that intent from her.

(29:29):
I felt that.
And I said, I'm not going to mention her name, obviously.
I said, do me a favor.
I need you to go and do just two readings.
I do not believe in strict teaching.
I do not teach that way.
There are many that are very strict.
I do not do that.
This is you are the boss.
This is your soul.
This is your energy.

(29:50):
This is what you use to communicate with spirit.
Not what I tell you to use.
It's what you feel comfortable in using.
So I do not say, right out there, do readings now.
I do not work that way.
That is totally wrong.
But what I said to her, I said, I just feel that you need to try and do some readings

(30:15):
for some friends, family, whatever.
Just do that.
Just do a couple.
Just see how you get on.
If you don't feel ready, if you don't want to do this, please do not do it.
But I just sense from you, you are ready.
Do it.
Two days later, I got a full script of two readings that she had done.

(30:37):
She'd written everything down.
And it was absolutely amazing.
And she was so excited.
She was absolutely thrilled to bits that she'd got this evidence.
She had given this to the sitter.
She was over the moon.
And that's exactly why I do it.
Because we all can reach that point.

(31:02):
We just need a little guidance.
We just need pointing in the right direction.
She found that key to that door.
Because I knew she would.
And she found that key.
And the reading she did was absolutely amazing.
And that lady, and I'm not going to mention her name, as I said, she's in, I think, in

(31:23):
her 70s.
Yeah, I believe she's in her 70s.
She's had this ability for years.
Just didn't know what to do with it.
She was knocked down.
There was friends knocking her.
And she just didn't know what to do with it.
And funny enough, I don't know why this is, but it tends to happen.

(31:45):
The number of times people have said to me, I'm thinking, what can I do with this?
What am I going to do with this?
I don't know.
They've gone YouTube.
Up comes "You, Me, and Mediumship".
The number of times that has been said to me, I think if everybody gave me, I know you're
working in dollars.
We're working in pounds in the UK.
If somebody gave me one pound, the number of times that has been said to me, I'd be

(32:09):
a very rich man.
But that's not what it's about.
This is about truth.
This is about truth.
DE-fluffing truth.
This is what this is about.
Yeah.
You know, we can talk about truth all day long, right?
We can discuss it.
We have a philosophy about it.
But discovering our truths is hard work.

(32:30):
We both know.
Very.
Yeah.
And you have that gift.
You have that light.
You have that vision for people.
And so you enable them to get there, you know, discover their own truth.
And you walk them, you hold their hand as they do this.
That discovery is always a wonderful experience for people, I'm sure.
I was thinking that the way we get to things sometimes is on our own timeline.

(32:51):
And you know, you've conveyed many, many different characteristics today about spirituality.
The timeline we get, there's your journey to your discovery of truth and unfolding that
and allowing it to unfold for you would be different than me.
And we both agree it's important to allow the person to expand in their own time.

(33:11):
And yeah.
Yeah.
And I think you mentioned that the student that you had was in her seventies.
It was her time.
It was her time.
Yeah.
And maybe all these other experiences up to that point contributed to the fact that she
was ready now to open up and just allow that to reveal itself and for her to grow.
Exactly.
Yeah.

(33:32):
Yeah.
Right.
Yeah.
And I think that's where sometimes some inspiration, somebody listening, you know, can contribute
amazingly to someone else's development.
And like you said, just acknowledging, understanding, being aware of, and how to handle, I mean,
you're an expert, so you know exactly what to apply when it's necessary.

(33:53):
Because it's all in your tool belt.
If you're a person, not to compare too much, if you're a product of a course or a system
or something or a certain methodology, you're sort of, if you don't fit in those boxes,
if you don't fit into that regime and that sort of schedule, let's say, right?
Yep.
It may have consequences.
And we both know that there are people who are, you know, let's not use victims.

(34:17):
Yeah.
There's been consequences to people who haven't been so successful.
So this is a much healthier, happier, isn't it?
Because you're going to discover more about yourself, more truth about yourself in any
way.
Yeah.
You get an awful lot of confusion, Pete, with psychic ability and mediumistic ability.

(34:37):
There's awful lot of confusion over that.
And there are many people who don't know the difference between the two, which obviously
for Joe Bloggs, it's a term we use in the UK for the public, if you like, do not understand
the difference.
And I believe that we have a duty to make people aware of what that difference is.

(34:59):
We either work psychically or we work mediumistically.
And I don't know about you, Pete, but if you go and watch a demonstration somewhere, you
know within seconds whether that medium has a connection with spirit or whether that medium
is, in fact, working psychically.
And I think it's something that is very important.
We need to get that out there so that the public understand the difference.

(35:22):
And you know, you're either going for a psychic reading or you're going for a mediumistic reading.
And unfortunately, there is so much psychic work going on on platforms within spiritual
churches, public demonstrations.
There's an awful lot of psychic energy, if you like, within you can walk in there, you

(35:44):
just know straight away within a second.
Now, this is going to be a psychic, I can read it.
It's going to be a psychic reading and you get it all the time, you know.
The way I describe it, Pete, is simply this.
If you had passed, so you've got to put on the shoes of a person that has passed, okay,
not literally, but you put on those shoes and you saw that light of the medium, you

(36:07):
managed to merge with that medium, you understood the fact that you were going to be able to
relate some information to your son, your daughter, whoever is sat before that medium.
You would not start about changing your job, your love life.
What would be the first thing you would do as an energy?
What would you want to expand into that medium to give to that sitter?

(36:30):
What is the first thing?
Sure.
Yeah.
Oh, you had a hard day at work today.
Oh, you need to change the job.
When you connect to that energy, that love of a mother and you have a daughter in front
of you, that knocks you for six.

(36:51):
You ain't going to start talking about you're going to change your job.
Oh, I think you need to move out.
No, the passion, the love, that energy that comes through you, all you are putting that
love into the lap of your sitter, they can feel it.
And all that daughter wants to know is that mom is okay.

(37:12):
Mom is not in pain.
Mom is fine.
Mom carries on.
She's still with me.
She is there.
She supports me.
She's not going to go on about moving house.
That is not going to be the first thing she's going to say.
And many a time you will see mediums work and they will go to a person when they're

(37:32):
doing a demonstration and say, oh, oh, I'm being told you're going to move house.
I lost my father when he was quite young.
But if my father come through to me and said, you're going to move house, and that was one
of the first things he said, I'd be quite disappointed.
It's not.
And you need, when you get some experience behind you, you sense that energy.

(37:57):
You know it's mom.
You know it's dad.
You know it's brother.
You know, you sense it.
And you will go to that person if you're doing a demonstration and you say, I have mother,
I feel mother.
And she will, through thought pattern, through vibration, maybe just show you those last
few moments as she passed of the lady you're speaking to in the demonstration.

(38:24):
You have that vision of a sap.
They're holding her hand, maybe just wiping her forehead.
There'll be little things that come through that will give evidence to that person that
this is mom.
This is what we need to do.
We need to show that this is mom.
And you feel the love coming through for what that daughter did for her as she passed.

(38:46):
You feel that.
And you give that.
You give that.
She's so thankful and grateful for what you did for her in those last few moments.
She knew you was there.
And sometimes you will get a statement.
You will sense those last few words that either daughter said to mom or vice versa.
You will sense that.

(39:07):
And if you give that as evidence, there is proof.
There is evidence.
And that is what we need to be aiming at.
You had a bad day at work or you need to cut down on the chocolate bars.
We need to give out that love that we are receiving as mediums.

(39:29):
We need to, like I said, put that in the lap of the sitter and let them experience that
love because that's what it's about.
Sure.
And that's probably the perfect topic for another broadcast another time about values
and delivery and the underpinnings of ethics.
And I'll agree with you 100%.
It can sometimes be awkward or even painful to watch another person work if they're scratching

(39:55):
around and talking and pecking a little bit.
They tend to go through the alphabet, don't they, Pete, as well?
I have an A, you have a B. I have a C, you have a D. We'll get there in a minute.
We'll get there in a minute.
That is so annoying.
But yeah, sometimes you can't grasp a name.
Names are not important.
People put so much emphasis on this.

(40:15):
And what we've got to understand with this is that many energies have had many experiences
of life in different forms, different states, different...
The last thing on their mind is the name that they had when they passed.
That's not important.
They want to get that love through to their daughter, to their son.
The fact that you've said mum is enough.

(40:37):
Have you got a name?
Well, no, I haven't.
Because it's not important to spirit.
They don't know how long you are going to be able to hold on to that communication.
They need one to get as much information and much love over to their daughter as they can.
It's a kind of view.
Imagine if you've got in their shoes the excitement of being able to communicate with your loved

(41:01):
one on this side of life.
It's fast and it's difficult.
It's difficult.
It's not something that every energy finds very simple to do.
It's just as difficult for spirit to merge with us as it is for us to merge with them.
It's a two-way work in progress, if you like.
So it's something that we need to understand and keep in the back of our minds, I believe.

(41:25):
And it is a very delicate dance.
It's a three-way communication, isn't it?
Oftentimes people don't appreciate how hard the work of the medium is going.
I mean, there's a lot of blood, sweat and tears that goes into this because you're trying
to capture what you're getting, the information, however it's coming.
But you want to convey, like you said, the essential thing, which is love, which is they're

(41:45):
coming through because they're motivated by love.
Again, they're not going to be interested in validating the price of tea in China that
particular day to validate that they're there.
And we've got a limited time, tick-tock.
The cab's waiting.
We're double parked outside.
We got to do this while we can.
So oftentimes when spirit comes through, I'm like, okay, I got you.

(42:08):
Now let's get the message through as quickly as possible and as relevantly as possible.
So yeah.
Very true.
Very true.
Yeah.
It's a dance.
It certainly is a very tiring dance.
Yes.
You do need a good sleep afterwards, that's for sure.
You make it sound so easy.
And of course it's not.

(42:30):
It's not.
No, it's not.
No, it's just direction is how I guide.
It's just the right direction and the simplicity.
It's like everything else as human beings, we complicate it.
We complicate most things.
Life isn't complicated.
It is as complicated as you make it really.

(42:51):
Some people have many things.
Some people have nothing.
But it's funny that people with nothing tend to be normally the happier ones.
They've made life very plastic and what we need to be looking at really is fulfilling
self not materially, but fulfilling self, absorbing love from each other.

(43:17):
And we need to be working at that rather than material gain.
But unfortunately, the world's not like that.
Hopefully one day we will open our eyes to the fact that what we are truly seeking doesn't
necessarily come with four wheels and a shiny paintwork and a V8 engine.

(43:39):
What we are truly seeking is not our purpose does not relate to any of that.
We all have purpose.
And something that needs to be I kind of look at within the teaching side of things is a
soul's purpose and we kind of talk about that quite a bit as we work on somebody discovering

(44:03):
self.
I said, well, I've got no idea what my purpose is.
And I said, well, have you ever asked?
And they look at me like, you know, have you just lost the plot?
What do you mean ask?
I said, because when you came here, you knew your purpose.
That purpose has just been buried.
You have been materially given a purpose.

(44:29):
So you went to school, you learned well, you did all the exams, you passed your exams,
you got the big house, you got the nice job, you did.
That's a different thing altogether.
We are looking at self-purpose.
You know what that self-purpose is.
You've just got to listen.

(44:50):
And it comes to the surface over time as I work with people, they kind of understand
what their purpose is.
Normally it's down the road at some spiritual route of some kind.
It can be healing, it can be working with animals, it can be a number of things.
But the purpose was just buried in the nine till five in the office, the mortgage, it

(45:17):
just gets buried.
So we kind of push that to one side and we start to look at self.
I harp on an awful lot about learning about self.
And that's why that sitting in that moment, in that peace, in that silence will help you
discover self.

(45:38):
As you said earlier, Peter, it's not an easy task.
It's not something that is simple to work with either because mind will try and take
control of that.
It will try and pull your purpose back to where it should be.
But your mind is obviously there for a reason to survive, to protect, make sure you eat.
It is there for that.

(45:58):
It is programmed to do that.
That is why it's there.
It is not there to work on a spiritual level whatsoever.
It is something that we just need.
We learn obviously to push to one side and we start to go within to some degree, find
that self, find that purpose and work with that.
Because that is your toolbox.
We were talking about my toolbelt earlier on.

(46:21):
Everyone's tool for spirit communication, that tool that you use is the energy of self.
Because the energy of spirit is simply identical.
It is the energy of a soul.
So we are using the energy within our own souls, within our own selves to communicate

(46:43):
with exactly the same within the world of spirit.
So that is our tool, that energy of our true self is our tool that we need to grasp and
learn how to use.
Once we do that, we've got connection.
Fascinating.
Absolutely fascinating.
Folks, we are talking today with the Master and you've heard all this wisdom today.

(47:09):
It's a spiritual master and if I had to encapsulated because we only have a few moments left, what
this experience for me has been like.
It's been a journey of authenticity.
I love talking about, as you know, spirituality and in regards to psychics and mediums, we
certainly enjoy quite a bit of that today.

(47:31):
The master's name is Kevin Cornwell and you can reach him if you want to reach out at
his email, wheretwoworldsmeet@live.co.uk.
I'll say it again, where twoworldsmeet@live.co.uk.
Kevin welcomes your correspondence and you'd like to hear from, you know, let Kevin know

(47:55):
what your thoughts are and he's eager to hear and have you share.
I'm sure there's lots of people with different perspectives today and I think we've been
very even with understanding where other people are coming from and looking at the ethical
sides of different things.
It's a kind of a wholesome, kind of healthy approach to all of this.

(48:15):
It's very refreshing and I can't thank you enough for finding time for your schedule
for coming.
I hope this won't be your last visit.
I hope we can have you come back on again.
No, no, I'd love to.
I'd love to.
Sure.
We only touch on some of these things and many, many other things.
We can do a deeper dive on and explore more.

(48:36):
I do have a problem with that, Pete, unfortunately, and that is I'm not the ideal person to go
out to dinner and start talking about spirituality because I'm sure I've put many people asleep
in my time.
I'm sure I have.
Once I'm on the bandwagon, then I cannot stop.
So I think we've done well to fit that in, or fit in what we did for dinner, I think.

(48:57):
I think we've done quite well there.
Yeah, it's quite a bit of information.
A lot of information and people probably writing things down very quickly because there's lots
to absorb here.
But you know, it's lots of value.
Again, we can go on for days and we'll save some for next time.
Yeah.
Again, it's been a delight having you today.
I knew it wouldn't be disappointing.

(49:19):
I've been very fulfilled spiritually and very energized personally, just very, very inspired
by your wisdom.
I know the listeners are as well.
So again, our guest today, our special guest has been Kevin Cornwell.
You can find him on YouTube at his...
Yeah, "You, Me and Mediumship" is the channel.

(49:39):
There are lots of different videos on there, different responses, which I knew there would
be.
Yeah, same on Patreon.
It's you, me and Mediumship on Patreon.
We have a little circle going now.
So we've started a circle.
We did meet just once a month, literally because of time.
I would love to do one most evenings if that was possible, but unfortunately it's not.

(50:00):
But we do have a meet together.
It's only a small group within the circle.
And the student side of things, I just don't like these plastic words.
I find it very difficult.
Really my friends, you know, I've met some wonderful people and some of the history and
some of the things these people have been through is that we all think we're hard done

(50:22):
by sometimes, but these people have shown pure strength in life as well.
And I've been inspired by them.
They inspire me too.
It means a lot to me.
And I learned from this.
I learned from this too, that it comes across sometimes as a cruel world.
But what I have got from this is it may well be a cruel world, but there are some beautiful

(50:48):
people out there and we're all fighting our way.
We're all fighting our way and we're all battling.
So that's what I got from it.
And yeah, it's an inspiration for me too.
It really is.
Yeah.
But an enjoyable inspiration, one that keeps us moving and continue to seek the truth,

(51:10):
to enjoy it.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
It's been a delightful broadcast today and I'm so glad and grateful that you came on.
I'm looking forward to the next time when we can welcome you back to talk about more
exciting things about mediumship and sitting in the silence and hearing more about the
success in your teaching.

(51:30):
Thanks for tuning in.
Thank you.
You're welcome.
You're welcome too.
I enjoyed it.
Thanks very much, Pete.
