Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, everybody buckle up, because today we're going deep, deep, deep.

(00:04):
We're diving into a topic. Well some might call it controversial,
others fascinating.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
It definitely pulls you in, it does you.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Guys know you love a good secret society. And we
got a request to dig into Codex Magica by tech Mars.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Oh yeah, that one stirs things.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Up, it really does. So that's the mission for this
deep dive Codex Magica. What's it all about? Is there
something to these claims about hidden powers and secret symbols
or is it all just you know, playing on our
deepest fears?

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Right?

Speaker 1 (00:34):
So what is Codex Magica really saying?

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Well, it basically starts with this idea, this core premise
that there's this powerful group they call them the Illuminati,
working behind the scenes and they use get this signs
and symbols to communicate and like control things, world events,
you name it.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Whoa hold on? So like secret handshakes, hidden symbols, that
sort of thing sounds like something out of a movie.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
You're telling me. Hum part of what hooks people, right,
it's intrigue. But to be fair, we get to zoom
out for a second. The idea of the secret societies,
especially ones calling all the shots. It's been around forever.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Yeah, like the Freemasons. You always hear.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
About them, exactly Freemasonry. They've got their rituals, their own symbols.
They often get roped into these conversations, and Codex Magica
specifically makes a connection between the Freemasons and the Illuminati.
But to be clear, Freemasonry is like an organization. It's
been around for ages. Yeah, it's got its secrets and rituals,
but it's mostly about personal growth, ethics, community stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Okay, So if that's what freemasonry is about, how does
Codex Magica connect them to like the Illuminati.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Well, that's where things get a little fuzzy. See, the
Illuminati were a real group, but they were around way
back in the eighteenth century Bavaria. They were all about
these radical enlightenment ideas and big on secrecy, which just
made them even more mysterious.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Ooh, recipe for a conspiracy theory if I ever heard.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
One, you got it ste quick rise and fall, perfect
ingredients for speculation. Over time, they've basically become the poster
child for powerful groups, you know, lurking in the shadows.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
And Codex Magica they're saying, this group tied to Freemasonry
is alive and kicking, and they're using a secret language
of symbols exactly.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
It claims these symbols are everywhere, celebrities flashing them, corporate logos,
even historical monuments. It's a big claim, that's for sure.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
So wait, it's saying there's a hidden message behind everything,
a secret code like a puzzle.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Kind of yeah, but there's something I'm curious about this book.
It makes all these connections, right, but does it actually
say someone is Illuminati?

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Ooh, good point? Like, does it mean names?

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Right? It kind of steps back from that, says, hey,
we're not saying these people in the pictures are Illuminati
or Satanists or anything. We're just showing you the symbols,
how we interpret them. You decide what you think.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
So they're laying out the evidence but not making the
aquations themselves, Like, here are the pieces of the puzzle.
You tell us what it looks like.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
That's one way to put it, and that's part of
what makes it so interesting to unpack how this approach
draws people in that need to figure things out. You know.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
It's like they're saying everything's a clue. All right, let's
play detective. What kind of symbols are we talking about here?
What's Codex Magica pointing at?

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Well, there's this one. It's pretty famous, the hidden hand.
You know, like when someone sticks their hand and their jacket.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Oh yeah, like behind the lapel or something exactly.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
You only see the fingers.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
I've seen it like in old paintings, right, politicians, historical
guys totally.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
And Codex Magic is like, see that's them signaling each other. Yeah,
it's the Illuminati handshake.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Okay, so now I'm going to be watching for that
in every period piece. But seriously, is there anything to that? Like,
couldn't it just be a pose for portrait?

Speaker 2 (03:47):
I mean, you're not wrong to be skeptical. I mean
the hidden hand, Yeah, it's open to interpretation. It's not
like a smoking gun. There's actually evidence that it was
a common pose back then, eighteenth nineteenth century, you know,
to look dignified. Leader Like, huh.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Interesting, context is key. So what other symbols are we
talking about? Anything a little more I don't know out there?

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Oh yeah, Codex Magica talks about the ldablo sign.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Wait, like the double horns.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
You got it? Index finger pinky finger rock on.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Is Codex Magica saying heavy metal is illuminati.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
Well, it does, trying to connect certain music to like
occult stuff. This says it's a way to influence people.
But and this is important, you got to think of
other explanations, right, those devil horns, that sign goes way back.
Ancient cultures use you too sometimes to ward off evil
are represented, you know, powerful gods, rebellious gods.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
So same symbol, whole different meaning depending on who's using it.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Right exactly, And that highlights something really important about symbols.
What they mean. It's fluid, depends on context, culture, the
person looking at it. Even what seems like a clear
sign to one person might mean nothing to someone else,
or even the opposite makes.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Sense, Like that whole thing with the OK sign harmless right,
But some groups not so harmless started using it too.
Now it's confusing. You don't know what people.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Mean, right right, Even codex Magica says, hey, you gotta
be careful look at the details.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
Okay, So symbols by themselves tricky, but Codex Magica seems
convinced that the illuminati are using them and not for good.
What's the big plan? According to them, what are they
trying to do with all this? So we've got these symbols,
we've got this group, but what's the endgame. What's Codex
Magica saying the Illuminati are trying to accomplish?

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Well, according to the book, it's nothing less than world domination.
They're talking about a new world order where they're the
ones in control governments, economies, even what people believe.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
WHOA Okay, So it's not just like a secret club.
It's more like they want to run everything.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Pretty much, pulling the strings from the shadows, influencing everything.
That's the idea anyway.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
I gotta admit it's kind of a scary thought. But
then again, isn't there something kind of I don't know,
almost comforting about it, Like if there's this group in charge,
even if there are the bad guys, at least someone
knows what's going on.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
You're hitting on something there. It's like conspiracy theories. They
offer this weird sense of order. You know, the world's chaotic, unpredictable,
but with this, hey, at least there's a.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
Plan, right, so instead of random chaos, it's like there's
a reason things happen the way they do. Even if
it's a creepy, secretive reason Exactly.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
It's all about trying to find patterns, makes sense of things,
which is where the psychology of all this comes in.
When we feel out of control, scared, even our brains
try to fill in the blanks, find someone to blame.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
So believing in this big, powerful group, maybe it makes
people feel less powerless themselves.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Right, it's like this illusion of control. Someone's at the wheel,
even if they're steering it's in a bad direction. And
that's what Codex magic it does so well. It plays
on that, all those symbols, connections. It taps into that
need we have to figure things out.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Makes you look twice at everything, doesn't it. But we
have to remember it's just one interpretation, right, one way
of looking at things.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Absolutely, it's like we've been saying, got to think critically
Codex Magica. It's their perspective. Yeah, up to us to
decide what we believe.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
Exactly, question everything, especially when it comes to tech. Samars himself,
the author, he's written a lot about this stuff, has
any conspiracy theories, secret society is all that?

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Oh yeah, tons of books all with similar themes, hidden agendas,
the occult, you name, it, and that just makes it
even more interesting, right, Yeah? Is he truly convinced or
is he just really good at giving people what they
want to read?

Speaker 1 (07:34):
The eternal question? Believer or businessman? Maybe both? Who knows.
But here's the thing. People love this stuff. Codex Magica
books like it. They're popular for a reason. We're fascinated
by the unknown, by the idea that, maybe, just maybe,
there are these forces we don't understand.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Calling the shot, it reminds us that the line between
what we believe and what's entertaining it gets blurry. We
have to be careful, especially with information that honestly just
confirms what we already think.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Be skeptical, couldn't agree more, question everything, consider different sides,
and if it seems too good or too scary to
be true, well it probably is.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
You got it, Codex Magica. It tells a compelling story,
no doubt, but it's just one piece of a much
bigger mystery. We can't just take it at face value.
We have to understand where these symbols come from, how
our own minds work, how to think critically. Only then
can we really start to wade through all this. The
secret societies, the hidden agendas, all of it.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
So here we are end of our deep dive into
Codex Magica. Do we have all the answers? Nope, but
we've got even more questions, which is always a good thing.
Is there really a group pulling the strings? Are we
just wired to believe in conspiracies, especially when we're scared
or feel like we're not in control. These are questions
people have been wrestling with for ages.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
And we might never have a clear answer. But the search,
the digging, the thinking, that's what matters.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
So true, stay curious, everybody, stay informed, and most importantly,
stay critical. Thanks for joining us for this deep dive.
And next time you see a symbol, any symbol, a logo,
a hand gesture, anything, take a second think about what
it could mean. You might be surprised at what you find.
