In this episode of the Reaching Your Peak podcast, I, Jeff, delve into the final component of the CHAT framework we've been discussing: "Together Moving Forward." This step is crucial as it emphasizes collaboration with team members to create a clear path for improvement rather than simply dictating expectations.

I share my belief that shared ownership of goals enhances the likelihood of sustainable change and strengthens working relationships. We explore the importance of setting specific, actionable steps for team members to take ownership of their performance, especially when they are not meeting expectations.

I highlight the need for regular check-ins to assess progress and ensure that team members are aware of the resources available to them. It's essential to eliminate excuses and maintain a positive outlook throughout the process.

Additionally, I touch on the necessity of outlining potential consequences if expectations are not met, while still focusing on the collaborative plan we've developed. I encourage leaders to look for signs of ownership and engagement from their team members, as this will ultimately lead to a stronger team dynamic.

Thank you for tuning in, and I hope to see everyone at the peak!

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
