In this episode, we welcome Scott Taylor, a familiar face and voice for many in the Young Living community. Scott is not only a corporate leader with deep knowledge of the comp plan, but he’s also a straight shooter who breaks down complex ideas in a way that actually makes sense (and yes—he keeps it interesting).
We dive deep into Young Living’s revamped Fast Start Bonus program, covering everything from PV requirements to bonus caps, to why your grandma’s inactive upline might still help you get paid. Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned sharer, you’re going to walk away with serious clarity—and maybe even a little motivation to go re-engage that downline.
Scott Taylor brings heart, humor, and a whole lot of smarts to the table. Known for his role on Young Living’s corporate team, Scott has helped shape programs that are designed to reward real effort—not just rank. He’s passionate about creating simplicity, transparency, and big wins for those actively building and sharing. This episode? It’s basically a masterclass, courtesy of Scott’s insider perspective.
Level 1 enrollers earn 25% on new enrollments—no PV required
Level 2 enrollers earn 10%, but only if they have 50 PV
If someone in your upline isn’t qualified, that 10% rolls up to the next eligible enroller
PV gets reduced by 70% for Unilevel and other bonuses during the first 3 months—but still counts fully toward rank
There’s a 1,000 PV cap per new enrollee per month for Fast Start commissions (maximum $250), but earnings beyond that go through normal, unreduced bonuses
The Fast Start “clock” begins on the day the account is created, not when they place their first order
You can now earn Fast Start bonuses on reactivated members—as long as they’ve been inactive for 12 full months
You also earn Starter Kit Bonuses with no PV requirement
If your new enrollee creates an account on the last day of the month, don’t wait! Their first calendar month starts immediately, and they’ll need to place their order before the month ends for you to get that first-month bonus.
This isn’t just a policy update—it’s a major shift that benefits the real builders. Scott’s breakdown makes it clear: if you’re showing up and sharing consistently, you’ve got more opportunities
