Pastor Casey continues on in the book of Romans with a sermon titled "The Gospel for religious people". Here are the 5 points he outlined as to why we need the Gospel:

1. Because we're as bad as those we judge (1-5)

2. Because religious works can't save us (6-12)

3. Because we know we're guilty (13-14)

4. Because we've been hypocritical (17-24)

5. Because only Jesus obeyed perfectly (v 13; cf. Hey 7:26)

1. We've suppressed the truth (18-20)

2. We've exchanged God for idols (21-23)

3. We've followed our lusts (24:27)
