All right, I'm going to roll asix banger.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
Yeah, let's go.
I'm going to roll a 12 banger,probably.
Speaker 3 (00:43):
Five banger, nice
five, wow, one shy, well.
Well, that'll get you tuned upbefore this concert oh yeah um
two I don't know.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
I feel like that
should be a re-roll hit the wire
.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
Yeah, I don't know
about that We'll stick with two
for now.
Alex One Wow.
Speaker 4 (01:18):
We'll do more than
one.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
I don't know it goes
off the table.
I feel like it's a re-roll.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
I always get it off
the table, which?
Speaker 2 (01:24):
button is the thing
Re-roll.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
Keep it on the table
Three.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
That's a lot better.
I like three.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
I'll do four.
I'll do six.
My niece should do three.
My niece should do four.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
Yeah, exactly Twelve.
We'll see how many we get to.
I only got four, six, eight, ten, twelve, thirteen, fourteen
beers sitting in front of me.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
I think you got them
all today.
I think you put them all in.
So I have a story for you guys.
This happened last night.
I was at a place called Lumpy'sin Dundee, yeah, and you know I
was drinking, having a goodtime hanging out with the lady.
You know, just live my bestlife.
I had to go piss.
So I went piss and this ladywalks in.
(02:17):
Well, I didn't know it was alady at the time, so I was like
pissing.
I hear someone open the door,I'm like whatever.
And then boom, arm kind ofaround me, kind of catching
herself.
Lady walks in.
She's about 450 pounds.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
Ooh, nice defensive
tackle yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
Like no one's getting
through her.
And then she looks straight atmy wiener, because there's not a
divider, it's just like twopisters, and then they're
stalled.
Looks straight at my wiener.
There's not like a divider,it's just like two pistons, and
then they're stall.
Look straight at my wiener.
Looks up at me and goes oh, amI in the men's bathroom?
I said yeah, and she goes okay, can you excuse me?
And then goes into the shitterand proceeds to start blowing
(02:56):
that bitch up.
No, way yeah so I just wash myhands, I'm washing up getting
out of there.
And then I was like, whatevershe's hammered, she barely
walked straight, big lady, barely fit through a doorway,
honestly.
Um but uh.
So I got in line to cash out mybill because we were leaving
and she walks by me and walksoutside, then comes back in,
(03:19):
starts talking to the guy infront of me and was like wow,
you're really cute.
To the guy in front of me, liketouching his arm or whatever,
and he was like kind of like, leave me alone, basically.
And then she comes over to meand she goes you're really cute
too.
And puts her arm like on myback and then grabs, proceeds to
grab my ass, and I don't.
It was like I've never like feltlike that, and I understand now
(03:42):
more with the ladies when theysay someone's being a creep.
I've never really had thathappen.
So that was a a moment in mylife where it's like just like,
yeah, that that's creepy.
Did your ass look good though?
I mean like, was it a?
Was it valid for her to grab it?
I mean, I personally would grabmy own ass.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
So I mean like loose
pants, because usually you're
looking pretty good.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
But yeah, no, these
were tight, tight uh, cargo
shorts tight cargo shorts.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
Yeah, yeah, so I was
looking pretty dialed.
I guess the bigger girl's goneI guess.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
I guess, I mean she
could probably roll down a hill
with pretty successful accuracy,oh my god.
Yeah, I think it's pretty validyeah, anyway, what do you guys
got?
So we're going to tell themthat we're all in Salem Oregon
today.
Speaker 3 (04:28):
Yeah, we're down here
in Salem, Oregon and I'm sure
Alex can fill everybody in onwhat we're doing down here.
Speaker 4 (04:35):
Yeah, we're in a
hotel room.
We got kind of a good setup.
Maybe we'll post a flick forthe gram and show the setup
we're rocking with not the notthe usual rolling deep studio,
but we are here to support a uh,smaller artist that's for the
gram.
Bitches love the gram that's onthe up and coming and, uh, her
name is al win and she's gotsome good tunes out.
(04:58):
Uh, my favorite track buyerright now is War and Peace
acoustic version.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
A little acoustic
action.
Speaker 4 (05:07):
Are you going to give
them a sample?
Yeah, maybe.
Sample it up there Play alittle bit.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
Is it like War and
Peace, or In, I think, and I
thought War and Peace was like abook.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
The Art of War.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Ooh, the Art of War.
Oh, by Ice Cube.
Speaker 4 (05:22):
Yeah, I like that the
Art of War?
Oh, the Art of War Is that whatyou're thinking, oh, by Ice
Cube.
Yeah, I like that.
Nah, I think two differentsounds and two different artists
.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
I didn't know she did
an acoustic version of Ice Cube
, that's kind of badass.
What's her?
Speaker 4 (05:37):
We'll cut this, but
E-L-L-E.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
Oh, that's what her
name is.
Speaker 4 (05:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
Well, I knew that,
elk.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
King W-I-N-N.
Hmm.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
Found it, oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
So this is the sample
, huh.
Speaker 5 (06:20):
Yeah, I might be down
, but at least I haven't peaked.
Some nights I'm strong, somenights I'm weak.
I'm going home now, but now Idon't weep and I find it amazing
how much I put up with.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
Are we playing the
whole song?
Speaker 5 (06:44):
We just want to do a
little slice.
I like it, are we?
Speaker 4 (06:45):
playing the whole
song.
We just want to do a little, Ilike it.
I'm a big sucker for acousticstuff.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
Well, you know, I
haven't really listened to any
of it, so I don't want to ruinmy surprise for later.
You know, yeah, she's got agood strum.
Yeah, nice voice.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
Yeah, good.
Speaker 4 (07:03):
Very on point with
the notes, so we'll watch her
play tonight and support her.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
Drink beer and eat
food?
Speaker 4 (07:10):
Yeah and just have a
good time and rock out.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
Jamming Should be
pretty exciting.
We're going to try to, even ifwe are a little bit tipsy.
We're going to try to hop onfor a post-intermission update
after the concert, for you guysCan't guarantee that it's going
to try to hop on for apost-intermission update after
the concert, for you guys Can'tguarantee that it's going to be
very long, but we might just hopon, say hi.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
Oh, it's going to be
a great post-intermission.
Wouldn't miss it for the world.
We're just going to kind of.
I'll be rolling so deep I mighthave to do it on the ground.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
Yeah, I don't think
you guys would want to listen to
us much after, but we mightjust stop in just so you guys
get a taste of what the nightwas like.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
Just a little flavor
in your mouth, the hangover
might be recreated tonight.
I don't want to give you toomuch.
You know, just a little likeright on the tip of your tongue
you know, dude, what's?
Speaker 3 (07:59):
uh, I also enjoy
acoustics, but what's your
favorite?
Speaker 4 (08:04):
Alex Like acoustic
song ever yeah Two that come to
mind.
I mean, I guess would youconsider I don't know, Would you
consider Wonderwall like anacoustic song?
Speaker 3 (08:18):
I don't think so.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
Okay, then probably
the Everlong acoustic version
and or Campfire Tale by TrippieRedd.
Those are two songs with somenice guitar, like calm, kind of
like songs you'd listen to whileyou're camping.
Speaker 3 (08:33):
Yeah, chuck, what
about you?
Speaker 2 (08:36):
That's really hard
for me.
I mean, there's a lot ofacoustic songs out there.
If you gave me like a genre, Icould probably give you a good
song out there.
I don't know, if you gave melike a genre, I could probably
give you a good song.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
Now you want to know,
and I know you guys have heard
this, but I love the CitySessions acoustics that they
come out with.
Have you ever heard of them,Chuck?
Speaker 2 (08:54):
I don't think so.
You might as well throw that onthere too.
Speaker 3 (08:58):
I think this is
probably my favorite acoustic
that they've ever done.
Let's see.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
Looking it up,
looking it up, looking it up,
looking it up, yeah, his palmsare sweaty knees weak.
Speaker 6 (09:20):
Arms are heavy.
There's vomit on his sweateralready, mom's spaghetti I like
that on the surface he lookscalm and ready to drop bombs,
but he keeps on forgetting whathe wrote down.
The whole crowd goes so loud.
He opens his mouth but thewords won't come out.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
He's choking but it's
lose yourself by eminem.
But he does it acoustically andarguably I think like that's a
good song in general, right likewhen Eminem's rapping it, but I
think it arguably gets me morehyped when it's acoustic, like
that super slow.
(09:56):
I didn't find it until after.
I was kind of like done withthe whole like playing sports
and getting hyped thing.
But like, if I would have foundthat like junior year high
school, I feel like it wouldhave been like a song that
really like got got me goingwell and I think the benefit of
that song too is like somethingabout acoustics is like easy on
(10:18):
the ears, you know oh yeah likeit's, like it's not.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
So boom, boom, boom
or you know just like.
I think that's kind of thepoint too.
It's always a lot calmer it'scalmer but it's like easier of a
listen I will say there's moreacoustic songs that give me,
like the, the what's it called?
Speaker 3 (10:33):
like the shiver on
your back, you know yeah, like,
it's like whoa you know justlike hits you different but they
do a lot of them like, uh,don't you worry, child, um the
night murder, murder on my mind.
Speaker 4 (10:47):
They do an accursed
yeah, murder on my mind uh no no
, he's got some acousticboulevard of broken dreams.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
They, they do it.
Maybe that's yeah oh my gosh, you butchered that yeah, but I
just, I just uh, I love the citysessions.
They're probably uh the top ofmy uh acoustic finds that I've
ever found.
But there's some songs that Ihave on my phone that are
acoustic versions of songs thatI thought were like the actual
(11:20):
version like the craziest onethat I got is a uh drunk driving
.
He's like I'm just drunkdriving again yeah, is that not
the original?
I don't know, but I just on theone that I have on my phone.
It says acoustic version.
I'm I just thought it was theoriginal, but yeah, I don't.
Speaker 4 (11:45):
I don't know why,
maybe it's just me, but I feel
like, uh, all acoustic versionsof songs always feel nostalgic,
even though if it's like a newersong that just has an acoustic
version, I feel like they alwaysend up feeling nostalgic and I
think a big part of that too isif it's like an older song that
someone may do an acoustic song,it like you remember this song
(12:09):
from being like maybe like likethe eminem one right.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
It's like yeah, I
know the song, yeah, I know the
song and I remember like one ofthe first times I listened to it
it was like you know.
I was like wow, that's likebanger, you know.
But then you hear like anacoustic version.
I was like wow, that like ithits different because it's like
it's nostalgic, because youremember listening to song
before.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
But it's yeah, it's
different anyway, we got a
couple of questions here that wegot emailed to us from uh,
brooklyn bright and uh.
First one that I think we couldprobably get get going on is uh
(12:51):
, help me, help me name my baby.
What names do you got?
Speaker 4 (12:56):
and uh, she's having
a girl uh, that already knocked
off one of my ideas.
I was going to say, carlos, like the hangover, yeah, but
can't do Carlos.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
Well, there's like
Carly, you could do.
Speaker 4 (13:09):
Carly Carlita.
Speaker 6 (13:12):
That's a name, right.
Speaker 4 (13:13):
Yeah, I guess.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
You just go, carly,
that's a what yeah.
Speaker 4 (13:18):
I'm going to add
Alita.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
you know, I don't
know I.
Yeah, I'm gonna add alita, youknow, I don't know I don't know.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
Well, yeah everest.
You know, I've heard tone sayeverest, things like edith,
edith, oh yeah, yeah, like, uhsounds like a goddess, yeah, or
uh, what's that?
Cleopatra?
Yeah, cleo for short.
Instead of chloe it would becleo what about like cyclone?
Speaker 4 (13:43):
yeah or like cyclone
yeah, I remember being a kid
lumber yeah, I remember being akid thinking about like badass,
like boy names, like oh, dude, and it just sounds like an xbox
game where you're like I'm gonnaname my child death night 72.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
Yeah no, uh shit, I
don't know.
I've I've been bouncing a lotoff her, but uh, none of them
seem to really be sticking.
Speaker 4 (14:11):
So I can't.
I can't say a good one, becauseI don't want her to take.
Speaker 3 (14:15):
I want my own child,
sadie sage.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
Sage is good, sadie's
good yeah, sadie's good I like
the.
I like the ones that are likeuh, uh, what's?
What's one that I heard theother day that I was like wow,
that's actually a badass, it wasa scotty, oh yeah for for a
girl yeah yeah, that's.
Speaker 3 (14:40):
I thought it was
weird for the longest time, like
some names just like stick inyour head as like boy or girl
names.
Yeah, I just can't get them out.
Scotty's one of them for me.
But, it is a cool name.
There is a lot of girls namedScotty, but I just can't like
separate it in my mind, in yourmind.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
Yeah, like Lawrence.
Yeah, that Like Lawrence.
Yeah, that's like always willbe a guy name, or you could do
like Mabel.
Mabel, no what about Maypole.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
I feel like that's a
very like old time name, she
actually does like Maypole,maypole yeah.
Speaker 4 (15:11):
Maypole's solid.
I feel like I can't say likeMaple, I have to force it, but
just saying Mabel.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
Yeah, I don't know.
I mean she's not set and orlike strong, like what about
like kawasaki, like her, likeher uh her son.
He was born and they didn'tname him until they left the
hospital, like two days laterreally yeah.
So I mean, she's not like she'sjust trying to find a name that
(15:41):
sticks, kind of, and she's likeshe likes Maple, but three
months from now she might notlike Maple and it's not really
going to be like, oh man, well,we're going to have this baby
here soon.
Like we need to sit, like she'scool with, just like.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
Well, and the other
thing too is like sometimes like
there's people's people nowthat will have their kid two or
three days later.
Speaker 4 (16:05):
It's like you know
what this name feels correct for
which I didn't know that untilI was older that you could wait
a few days until after the kid'sborn to name the child.
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
Yeah Well, because
even when they're that young,
you still kind of get littlepersonality things.
Speaker 3 (16:22):
You know, I think
that the kid makes the name.
Speaker 4 (16:27):
You could name him
something atrocious, but yeah
yeah, and the weirdest way Ifeel like I have to see the kid
don't name it I don't knowthere's.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
I know someone that
named their kid for, and I was
thinking Ford.
Speaker 4 (16:43):
Yeah, he looks more
like a Chevy but then I met the
kid.
He was a pretty cool kid, he'slike a dually yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
My kid's name is Ford
, middle name F last name, 450.
Speaker 3 (16:54):
He looks more like a
Peterbilt to me.
I'm going to name myselfsomething bad.
Speaker 4 (16:58):
I'm going to want to
name him like Beretta.
Ooh, that would be a good girlname.
Yeah, beretta, beretta.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
Actually, that's
pretty badass.
I'm trying to think of othergirl names here.
I can't Olga, olga.
Speaker 4 (17:13):
Yeah, olga, she's
going to grow up to be a body
Builder.
Yeah, body builder competition.
Speaker 3 (17:19):
Helga Holga Helga.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
Ramira, ramira.
Speaker 4 (17:27):
Thug Rose.
Thug Rose, yeah, the UFCfighter.
Just name her after Thug Rose,or name her after something you
love Rosie Daisy, maybe PopeyeFlowers, there's all those
flowers, something you love, just be like.
Speaker 3 (17:43):
Name her, you know.
Speaker 2 (17:45):
Yellow blue.
Speaker 6 (17:48):
Purple Did you say
purple, purple.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
Like the left arch of
the McDonald's M or something
Like the left.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
Yeah dude.
M's a solid lady name.
Speaker 3 (18:02):
Have you you ever?
Have you ever seen those?
Uh, have have you ever seenthose like memes on tiktok that
are like, uh, like baseballinspired names for your son and
it's like easton homer and then, like the third one's just like
donkey piss missile, 600 feetdead center wasn't that like a
(18:23):
whole joke where it was like adad named a kid roses because
the mom like roses, a dad the.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
They named the kid
like snow because the snowflake
fell on him, and then it waslike then the one kid's like
well, why am I named brick?
And he was like well, because abrick fell off the building and
killed your mom or something.
Jesus.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
Jesus Mouse.
I think, you should name herBush Light.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
Oh yeah, Little Bush.
Speaker 3 (18:49):
Yeah, little Bush.
Speaker 2 (18:50):
Little Bush.
Speaker 4 (18:52):
I'm going to veto
that one.
Speaker 3 (18:54):
What about Twee Dude?
So their last name is Bright, and I think they've heard every
meme no like meme under the sun.
Light, Light's bright, yeah, like my grandma when her Arlo my
nephew.
When he was born they knew itwas a boy and my grandma was
(19:15):
trying to get Brooke to name himBarry.
Barry, Bright yeah.
Speaker 4 (19:26):
Good thing his name
wasn't like not so yeah, barry,
not so
Speaker 2 (19:30):
bright, yeah, more
like you know barry bright, and
then barry not so bright oh,that kid would be bullied.
Speaker 4 (19:41):
that's also the other
thing about when naming a child
Like how can other kids makefun of my child?
Speaker 2 (19:46):
Oh yeah, no one
really ever made fun of me for
my name.
Speaker 3 (19:49):
Like I've always
wanted a name.
If I ever had a boy, I alwayswanted to name him Weston.
Speaker 2 (19:54):
Weston huh.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
Because I'm Easton.
Oh, yeah, but then you know, the later and later I get them.
Like is he just going to getmade fun of for that?
Probably.
But yeah, I'm always like superworried that my kid's just
going to like the whole Gus busyou know he's like in the shower
(20:16):
with his wife, and he's like, yeah, and then kids are just
going to bully him and piss allover him, and it's like you know
what I'm saying he's like, yeah, they'll shove him in a locker
and piss all over him, call himgus, but yeah, throw their shit
out of him and stuff.
And it's like what dude I?
(20:37):
I honestly I don't know how Iwould handle that one day.
Like if my kid was getting likesuper bullied.
It was like as a dad you can'tjust go like beat the kid's ass
obviously.
So it's like I don't yeah, likeyou would have to go about it in
a way that like you'd have tojust trust that you would be
(21:00):
like, hey, this kid's bullyingmy son.
But you know, like a lot ofpeople do that, and then it's
just kind of like is he bullying, is he not, you know?
So it's like it's like you knowthat he is, but like if people
are oblivious to it.
Like people are oblivious to itso it's like I don't know.
Like that would be just like ahard thing to navigate as a
parent, I guess.
Speaker 4 (21:21):
oh for sure, you just
gotta trust your child to make
the right decisions, surroundthemselves with good people,
yeah, and like teach them like, yeah, there's some, there's some
folks out in the world thatdon't have your best interest
and or gonna try to make yourlife hell, but you just gotta
manage it, and it's how youmanage it that matters, which is
(21:43):
kind of crazy.
Speaker 3 (21:44):
But Good thing I'm
not there yet.
Good thing I don't have toworry about that until farther
down the road.
What about, like Emilio?
Emilio Bright, isn't it Emilio?
Doesn't that mean yellow?
Speaker 2 (22:01):
What about?
Oh, maybe, maybe, I don't know, that's armarillo, I think what
about armarillo?
Bright amarillo by morning,yeah, what?
Speaker 4 (22:10):
about george straight
amarillo right, I would name it
after like my favorite band, soI guess red hot chili peppers,
brightimp brisket bright.
Disturbed bright.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
Three days grace
bright.
Speaker 4 (22:29):
Corn bright.
Speaker 3 (22:31):
Dude, you know what's
actually really wild.
Speaker 6 (22:33):
What.
Speaker 4 (22:42):
Is while we're
recording this Brooke just
responded to our email that wesent back to her Like wow, we've
been recording this Herenergy's in the air.
It was just a heart.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
I answered this back
to her like three days ago, kind
of sent her an email back.
Yeah, and while we're recordingthis right now, she emailed
back and said thank you.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
Yeah, we'll
definitely keep that in mind.
Speaker 4 (23:05):
We'll work on these
names.
Yeah, maybe when we come backwe can uh thank them more what
about emiston?
Speaker 3 (23:11):
the other intriguing
question she had for us, which
we'll get back to you on thebaby, some more baby names.
But if you liked any of theones that we got, we'll finalize
these baby names in the nextcouple episodes and get you one
like definitive we'll do alittle vote on insta or
something, yeah and uh, but um,the other question that she had
(23:35):
was pretty intriguing was uh,who do you consider a local
legend?
Speaker 2 (23:41):
A local legend.
Speaker 3 (23:42):
Yeah, like you know,
back at home who's like a local
legend, I don't know.
Honestly, I kind of sayPinkstaff.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
Oh yeah, that's good,
pinkstaff yeah, brad.
Pinkstaff Brad Pinkstaff.
Honestly, yeah, that's a goodone.
That is probably top of thelist.
Speaker 3 (24:02):
I mean yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:04):
Like he had everyone.
Speaker 3 (24:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
Like parents and
children and uncles as a science
teacher.
Speaker 4 (24:11):
He's always kept the
same energy forever.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
Yeah, he was trying
to retire and they said, nope,
yeah, they were just like howabout you just work a little bit
less?
Speaker 3 (24:20):
but he's like, yeah,
works good for me.
I guess, yeah, well, if youguys think, so yeah, no dude, he
was crazy and then, like inschool, he would uh have the top
romans for us oh yeah, you pay50 cents and you get a top rom.
Speaker 4 (24:35):
It was money, yeah, I
remember one time I went up to
him and I gave him 10 bucks andI'm like, all right, just
remember, I gave you $10.
He's like okay, so for likeevery day for a long time.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
For a while, for at
least 20 days, yeah.
Speaker 3 (24:51):
Dude, it was crazy.
I think that he's probably he'sprobably got to be up there.
I I don't know if this isfactual or not.
I'm going to have to get withhim.
Maybe we get them on or try toget them on.
Get ahold of him.
But um he uh, there's thisrumor that I would like to ask
(25:12):
him if it's true.
I've never like asked him, butit kind of came down the pipe
cause he coached track and I wasin track and we were kind of
talking about it or whatever.
They said that the rumor is thatin his prime because he runs a
lot like he's yeah, all the timeoh yeah, he's he's caught
(25:34):
people on the trail smoking weedand back in the day, oh yeah
he's, and he's been around forquite a few years and he just
loves running or biking or youknow, just outdoor exercise in
general.
But running is kind of like toptier.
I was told that he ran 40 milesa day in his like prime.
(25:58):
Yeah, I was told somethingsimilar to that, like when he
was young, he would run like 40miles a day and which is crazy
because obviously he was ateacher I didn't think it was 40
, though.
I thought it was like 10 maybeit was 10, I heard it was like
10.
He ran 10 miles every single dayall I knew is, as I've heard
(26:19):
about him coming in, um likebecause he's ran quite a few
marathons and stuff from what Iknow, but um, he uh like those
little 5k like fun run type ofthings they have, like you know,
like whatever, he's not evenbreaking a sweat.
Yeah they said that like ofbreaking a sweat.
Speaker 4 (26:44):
Yeah, they said that
like he would like jog into the
start line from like somewhere,or you know like a couple of the
ones like at the lake.
Speaker 3 (26:49):
He had already like
ran the lake twice and then kind
of like jogged into the startline.
You know all warmed up andstuff which I know, that people
like people are intense aboutrunning do that like, even if
they're about to run, you know a20 mile marathon or something
they'll run like five milesbefore it starts to like get
I've just tried to imagine thisbecause there was a point in my
life where I'd like run, for youknow, a mile or two at the end
(27:11):
of my day and I was like tryingto get skinny or whatever.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
And even though I was
running that, I was still
getting tired, like like gassedand tired.
After the first five minutes ofrunning I was like fuck it.
I just want to know how someonecould run for like 20 minutes
and not look gassed or not outof breath.
They could stop, and it's notlike they're huffing and puffing
(27:38):
, you know.
Speaker 3 (27:39):
Yeah, no, it's wild
because he does it like which
people always say that like tothem.
It also is just as painful, butlike what I've heard from like
really good, like long distancerunners is like, as long as you
keep your mind focused onsomething else, it's really not
(28:01):
that painful, which I like to mewhen I was running, kind of
doing stuff like that like itworks.
Like if you see, like reallycompetitive runners, they'll
have like a niche or somethingthat they like focus on, that
just like forgets that they'retired.
Like I know a lot of peoplelike one of the guys that I went
(28:24):
to high school with was kind oflike a long distance runner and
he would run with his fingerslike this and he would purposely
like flick them up every timehe brought his hand up.
So that's what he was focusedon is when he's like pumping,
he'd come up and he just likethat was a that wasn't normal
that he just focused on likeevery time he pumped his hands
and brought this hand up.
(28:44):
It wasn't normal, so he had tomore or less just like.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
You know what I'm
saying well, yeah, I've heard
that too and I've heard it'sbeen like meditative and that's
like there's a point where, likeI kind of got to that where it
was kind of meditative, but thenI was gas and I and I was like,
yeah, no, not a chance, am Igoing to keep running?
Speaker 3 (29:04):
Yeah, it is pretty
wild, I don't think.
Speaker 2 (29:06):
I, I think like I
have a pretty strong mindset
when it comes to like not beinglike super embarrassed to do
things and not being like youknow what I mean.
I've just got a really, reallylike strong mindset of that
(29:29):
stuff.
But like I just know myself andlike hard things, stuff where
it's like stressful on like mybody and stuff, it's like my
mindset it just can't, like itcan't stay in in the groove of
things, like as I think abouthow I'm gassed and I think about
how I'm tired, I think abouthow I want to go, you know, I
mean, yeah, but it's likeemotionally wise, I think I have
a pretty hard mindset whereit's like people can make fun of
me all they want.
It's like doesn't really affectme yeah but like physical things
(29:52):
, definitely like, do reallyaffect me.
Speaker 3 (29:54):
So that's the other
thing too, and that's why like a
good group of friends is like Ithink it's pretty important, or
family or anybody, because likecomedians even do that right.
I mean they poke fun at stuffthat would normally upset people
or like whatever, but when youknow that they're a comedian,
(30:18):
nobody really takes it to hearttype of deal.
So like even when you're likewith a group of friends or
whatever, it's kind of like thatthing to where it's like I can
pick on my brother but you can't, yeah, it's like I can say that
he's a dumbass.
But as soon as you call him adumbass it's like hey, what the
fuck?
Like you don't, you don't knowhim yeah, what are you?
Speaker 2 (30:40):
what are you talking
about?
Speaker 3 (30:41):
yeah, like type of
deal that we're like same thing
with like a really close groupof friends, like like I can say
that you're a dumbass chuck, butlike if some random guy in the
bar was like, hey, you're adumbass, you're a dumbass.
Speaker 2 (30:53):
I'd be like, oh okay,
wait, hold on like what the
fuck do you just say, yeah, likeit it would it kind of like,
sets people off.
Speaker 3 (31:01):
You know, like I, we
can all poke fun at each other.
I can poke fun at alex, or youknow, alex can whatever, and
it's like I hope that he doesn'ttake it at heart knowing that,
like we're friends yeah, likeyou take it at heart or I?
I know I don't when I get itfrom like anybody else, just
because it's like you know yeah, you just know you're like it
doesn't matter.
But like if someone, if somerandom person that I don't
(31:24):
really talk to, says like thesame shit that you guys say all
of a sudden, I'm like what?
Like, okay, with the weatherheating up, do you want to find
a place to have a nice ice coldbeer after work?
Try the alston Pub and Grub.
Get your munch on, get a coldbeer.
They got pretty good wings, burgers, chicken sandwiches,
(31:48):
chicken wraps Anything you mightwant to have for a bite to eat,
or maybe just a cold drink.
They'll get you right at theAlston Pub and Grub.
Speaker 2 (31:59):
Welcome back for the
fifth time at Rolling Deep.
Speaker 3 (32:05):
Alex is trying to get
his headset untangled from his
chair.
Alex's headset is tangled inhis chair, dude, he's tangling
it so much more.
Speaker 2 (32:15):
He's down, ass, crack
out, just fucking unrolling the
Rolling Deep crack out, justfucking, un unrolling the
rolling d all right.
Speaker 3 (32:28):
Well, I'm almost down
to my drink, dude, I've had
plenty of drinks by now.
Speaker 2 (32:31):
That was a hell of a
concert oh yeah, we, we, we, uh,
we definitely did more thanwhat we rolled already, but we,
we're still rolling deep.
Speaker 3 (32:40):
That was a hell of a
single one.
Speaker 4 (32:41):
What an intermission.
Speaker 3 (32:44):
What an intermission
I like that.
Speaker 4 (32:47):
I think today was the
world record for intermission.
Speaker 3 (32:51):
I genuinely don't
think we'll ever beat it.
Speaker 4 (32:53):
The intermission with
Nigel was like yeah, it was an
hour.
No, today was what Seven.
Speaker 3 (33:00):
Seven hours and two
bars and a limo ride.
Speaker 2 (33:03):
A limo ride for two
and a half hours.
Speaker 4 (33:07):
About an album of 50
cent longer.
Oh dude.
Speaker 3 (33:10):
Oh fuck, it was
intense.
Speaker 2 (33:13):
It was a good time.
Speaker 4 (33:14):
One of my worst fears
is I have a barrier in my nose
and no one tells me and I justhave a fat bug ear and so all
day I'm just going.
Speaker 3 (33:27):
Your biggest fear is
having a dingleberry in your
nose.
Speaker 2 (33:30):
This is Dirk Dingle.
Speaker 3 (33:31):
Design A dingle
dongle in the nose, huh.
Speaker 2 (33:35):
I think this has got
to be it for sure.
Speaker 4 (33:38):
The sad thing is that
I'm in my worst fear.
Speaker 6 (33:40):
That's gotta be it
for sure.
Speaker 3 (33:43):
The sad thing is that
I'm in my worst chair.
Oh God, I think this has gottabe it, so let's just.
Speaker 4 (33:51):
Wait, wait, wait,
wait.
Well, we probably should talkabout how we got hammered and
how the concert went, becauseit's fucking Okay, well, let's
get on with it.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
We did get hammered
and the concert went well, yeah,
the concert went, because itwas fucking okay.
Well, let's get on with it.
Well, it did get hammered andthe concert went.
Speaker 3 (34:02):

Speaker 4 (36:28):
Bar mat made it right

food there was pretty good too.
Speaker 4 (37:41):
It was fantastic.

Uh, I had the prime rib dipnice, I had an italian wrap it
was a little too much horse, uh,horseradish sauce for me on the
prime rib dip, but I I ate itall because you know I'm a big
boy and I like to eat.
But um, I think it was anabsolutely fantastic and I love
people love horseradish, so Imean it was a pretty.
(38:03):
I'd give it a six out of 10.
