Sean and Lee Jarvis sit down to debrief Sean’s performance at the Hellgate 100k this past weekend. The fellas sat down just one day post race to discuss what went well, how the training worked and what might have been done differently.
Sean placed 5th at this years Hellgate with an official time of 11:31:55, a small PR over his time from 2022.
What is more remarkable is that Sean spent less than 50 miles of his training block on single track trails, and with Coaching from Lee, was able to create a non-specific training block that gave him the fitness necessary to finish a mountain 100k while living in the midwest.
Sean would like to give a special thanks to Lee and Lee Jarvis for opening up their home to him the week of Hellgate, and for Lee’s expert coaching skills without which Sean would neither have entered or finished Hellgate this year.
