E24: Mother of All Magic

After the undermountain, Hyre takes Monty to the temple ward to find a cure for his ailment.

walking episode 24. Let's get into it.
Last time we were in the final rooms of the Water Deep dungeon
the underground. Searching of course for hires

(00:20):
brother Monte. Wow, we had just found 30
missile coins each because of myfear on adulterated genius.
Um, we explored more mine shafts, we found more rooms of
skeletons. We found a room with the huge
furnace and Billows created by ancient duels with a stealing of

Arcane runes as Aura was investigating this Forge.
He found the Elven murderer. Whose name we never even learned
in the Forge. Who said that they could split
the silver dust in the fort. So of course, Aura went down to
lecture him and was swiftly knocked unconscious.

(01:03):
So um the Elven guy tried to take me hostage but Jaya saved
me so so easily. We have been the farthest and he
just kind of died. I don't remember the details of
how he died. So don't we need to talk.
What is this biased recap? It was followed evil.

(01:25):
There was some alignment things happening.
Yeah. I think we confirmed.
Yeah, full. Ethical felt good about that.
Um, we found another one of Monty's hideouts this one with a
still warm fireplace. Then we also okay.
Then we have to cross a literal Schoolhouse built inside a big

cavern with the wall of ice, full of zombies, we created a
plan for Davos to disguise as Undead go in and give us a
signal word. If Monty was in there, Upon
which the rest of us would attack some from the front where
me and Molly would come in from behind and melt out the undead

and start healing them. Um, in the classroom damos did
indeed find an undead golden Cobalt studying at a desk and of
course, Jora standing before theclassroom with dark, robes and a
pale. Shaved head, we attacked Molly
and I dispatched the zombies. All the rest is from the front

of as we finally gave him to themain room.
I was blinded and killed for themore beliefs time.

where it came like thrashing, Flash and started to breathe.
Um, as we finally down her, we threw Samir the teleporting Cube

and he cast laying in his tiny Hut around it, to allow us time
to teleport back to sarcastic. We looted her Doom, Got The
Wretched grimoire wheels, on some other cool stuff that we
have. Not yet gotten a chance to
identify and then we teleported two circad, did he tell him

Plain walking You all appear in a whiff of I guess the smokiness
of the room that you would just left the dim dark cave that had
been very humid, you hadn't really noticed it had you know,
you'd descended, six floors up until then.
But the air around you had grownsort of dank and sort of smelly.
And there was a lot of fire thathad been cast in this room did

not have anywhere to go. Also, the fleshy smell of the
fleshy walls of the cavern waft up with you.
As you all teleport. Via the cube you all here in a
Flash and a popping of your ears.
Through and you look up and it'sdaytime and you're surrounded by
the smell of sweet, cooked Breads and meats and you see the

ocean in the distance. You're back on the steps of the
academic courthouse in the greatcity of waterdeep looking
around. Now, you see, it is a bright
early morning seams but you are all exhausted.
Having just finished this horrible fight, and you see all
of your group including now one Monty Vallejo eyes sort of shut

with the gray pupils and a half.Open mouth of somebody who looks
very ill. You all appear here now.
Take a deep breath. Coughing out.
Some of the stress of the fight you were just in.
And you guys are back. What would you like to do?

That was fucking horrifying. Whoa, all right.

And you look around, you see, there's a group of people
walking by you now, on the street and an individual walking
in the front two, looks to be some sort of guide of sorts

giving a tour of the city on theleft.
Now, you'll find the academic water and oh looks like some
adventurers, please, everyone, hold back your photography.
If you Oh, the group gives you asort of frightened look, you see
a sloth of Nobles and travelers.Who look to be.

I took us back to waterdeep. I wasn't sure what else to go
and it felt right. Plus we need to pick up Tick.

you every once in a while you pass a guard or some sort of
government official, that seems to be walking to the town, but
mostly just seems to be workers,Travelers adventurers, like
yourselves, wandering through town, the hustle and bustle of
the city. Seems just vibrant as it did.
A few days before when you were walking through, but your little

to walk. Then on the flip side of things
demos, you and Samir sort of walk off into the temple, Samir
walks with purpose and you keep up easily with your long goat

front steps of it's an enormous academic building four stories
tall, very wide and sort of square with a large Courtyard.
In the middle, you walk around darting through rooms upstairs

of paper and ink, scribes dart back and forth and all sorts of
wizard and initiates or just simple Ledger folk and bankers
and apprentices of all kinds seem to be dashing around here.
But you guys also sort of walk with the Sombra attitude, Samir

Higher higher has been kind of on me about seeking out the more
peaceful Solutions first even though I feel like they do take
