(00:00):
All right, you guys. Welcome back to run fat goes
(00:03):
plain walking episode 33. Let's get into it.
So you fans at home, might not know this, but it actually been
quite some time. Since we recorded cities have
been reversed, continents left and then returned to all in real
life with a real physical bodies.
(00:23):
So it sounds like threats. What do you say like this?
I'm just saying things I'm saying exactly how it happened.
Last time we began hot off the battle against average where we
became Victorious. Of course, Jaya shot out both of
his eyes from the back. Again, badass.
Um, we immediately went to find jackknife as we suspected Jax
(00:49):
had replaced her. We did, in fact, find her, she
had been knocked out, but she was all right, Jaya demos, and
higher stayed. To drink with jack knife, while
Oro and Samir, and to his shop, to fix a mirror talked.
A little bit about some years history, with Flexi.
Howard worked for him for a while, and they'd have a falling
(01:11):
out. Oh, so they learned Samira is
left his fucking way through circad.
Jesus Christ. Not a woman in town.
He hasn't lived with me while our friends attempted to send to
Gio's wife. Again, unfortunately, it was
again intercepted by the spell Jammer ship outside of a Gloria.
(01:32):
Additionally, the most Arcane locked.
Our bag of holding to keep Zackshis body safe.
Dude, went out into the night tothrow Dr. Hymns A Tracker into
the ocean as it had promised himand found a piece of the
nautical, and that was still glowing, which it brought back
to Oro to identify. We learned that this part had
(01:54):
been enchanted with ClairvoyanceClaire audience, allowing the
enchanter to scry on this piece both visually and auditorily as
well. It had a distress signal.
So Doula made a lead box to store this, in the meantime,
preventing the scrying spell, when wild are due events here,
(02:16):
maybe why are mutations level up.
Additionally, we went to go visit the lady of pain where we
learned that it was very lucky J.
I used an iron bullet to kill Zach's as his average was a high
Fame and wouldn't have died too much else.
Now, you guys might be wonderingwhy would an iron bullet kills
(02:39):
average when Sarah J. Maas was very clear that I iron
actually has no effect on Faye into that.
I would answer that. This story actually takes place
in a different. Oh my god.
Oh, I did it regard. This is my very own Aura.
Feist player. Character red ego tar.
(03:02):
Now I have now, I have learning. They were then granted by the
generous, Lady of pain a free access to Xavier's three portal
doors, but alas not his mirror and we each got 1,382 gold
pieces. This number may seem a regular,
(03:23):
but a lot of math went into it. So, meanwhile, we thought out
red hands to earn some mutationsfor Jaya.
He received her to squishy little snail and us on the top
of his head. Yeah.
And from now, on whenever Jaya Falls below, is your HP, he will
(03:44):
immediately be buried with headstone.
Lastly. Of, lastly, we went shopping at
smears and bought some good goodstuff after that.
We returned to waterdeep to complete Monty's ritual.
That is, of course, Monty hires brother, don't know if he's
older or younger. Don't know if I've asked on the
(04:06):
answer just don't know much anymore.
Of course to achieve this ritual.
The final thing we needed was a corpse a fresh corpse within an
hour having died, a corpse having died within an hour.
One might say first, we our first plan of action was to
visit our friend, Captain Topherof the guards and just so often
(04:27):
beg. But we got a good relationship
with this guy. We've helped him out, he's
helped us out. We've been vulnerable.
So he took us to the board wherewe met them.
The more sure is a spare Gillis.Um, you'll never guess what
Mason Nate for dinner the night. He named this character as to
pick up fresh body which I just been reported in the streets.
(04:49):
That was apparently all messed up and killed by Magic.
We rode in the wagon Hurst to arrive at the scene, where we
discovered the body of none, other than Vinny Villa Venice.
The red tiefling that was like things were like the site's
(05:11):
team, the cops bring and not, we're here.
We're engaging. Just want to throw this in here.
Okay. I challenge you to look up
asparagus and determine that. I it was not in fact because I
had asparagus that night, but rather a much more intelligent
scheme because your DM does not go on the winds and fancies of
dinner. So it's like a fungus or If
(05:33):
fungus fungus. So, welcome back everybody.
That is in fact where we left off, right?
Where you guys found Vinny's corpse of water, deep Long dead.
You not certainly longer than anhour but longer than any revised
spell, it could bring him back. So Here we all begin.
(05:55):
It is sort of late afternoon in the city of Water Deep, the sun
is still up. And there's been a sort of
police line formed around this quiet street corner in the
trades, District blacksmiths surround you guys.
And you see a small crowd is formed to see what is
effectively of a body in the street and broad daylight, quite
(06:17):
an unusual sight. Something bad must have happened
here. You guys are all within this
little line that the guards haveformed the crowns guards.
Seem to have done a good job of keeping the comedy folk out and
instead of left you guys all to your piece, in the inside of
this circle, you surrounded the body now and you've got roughly,
(06:37):
you would guess 20 minutes before.
This thing is long past an hour overdue.
So what would you guys like to do?
Shit shit. Okay.
Oh fuck. I think orifice starts having a
small panic attack but, you know, trying to hold it together
for the team. Dude, how many times you have to
see fucking corpses before you get it together?
(06:59):
Jesus, I mean, I know, we know this guy but like I've died in
front of you. Know maybe higher can bring him
back. I are pretty good with magic,
right? I don't think we are going to.
Are we going to? Are we going to bring it back?
(07:20):
How long has he been dated for? Do we know you hear probably not
much longer. See you here that Sergeant 13
minutes that much. We got another half hour before.
This body is sort of too spoiledfor old mystra stupid so we
could bring back I feel like youknow I am on team bringing him
(07:46):
back but I do know that he was sort of vindictive against us.
So how would we bring him back this car?
I mean those hired magic to do there is within a minute.
(08:10):
Oh shit. He well we can use this body
there. Oh no, no, we know this is not
what we signed up for. This is not what we were doing.
We I thought we were doing this within good faith, just trading
a life for a life. I mean he was dead before we got
(08:30):
here. So And I don't know.
We're bringing somebody back to life.
There's bound to be some sort ofexchange.
You may call it equivalent to Strange.
(08:50):
So, what's wrong with you the cards?
I mean, so unfortunate. This poor soul is passed away.
I think they know what we're going to take the body.
(09:14):
Hi, I would just like to say just to make this seem better
for the people that see the bodybeing taken away.
Um, higher of course, is crying, right?
And I want to say starts to put Vinny away in the bag.
It's like touches Vinny visible, like like I would say, like
(09:36):
mental damage upon that, um, maybe add in like an like an
extra loud cry, but then we'll start to back him up.
Just pull them in just to be clear or else.
Definitely. Helping mostly probably like
crying on malicious shirt. Don't Wanna Cry.
Is Jesus together or a face Christ?
(09:57):
Yeah. Higher.
Just shove the body and that letme know if you need a hand.
Let me help you out with that, but I think Jay would try to
slowly take over after seeing how got it.
You you helped slowly ease the corpse of Vinny in to the bag of
holding, you notice during the process that you don't see any
(10:17):
visible signs of violence. Done to Vinny.
No blood. No Flesh.
Wounds cut scrapes or bludgeons. He looks very still calls us.
Um yeah. As we bagged him could I like
inspect his body further? Yes.
(10:38):
Would you give me an investigation check?
Please demons. Yes.
Oh god of course of course our inspector is afraid of dead
bodies. It would probably be good to
look into how they corpse will became a corpse.
If This truly was a close friendof yours, I would think it would
(10:58):
be worth it to perhaps, look into this.
I imagine the guards don't really care much about people
that can't even identify and I was just too bad too.
I mean I thought of any told us that he had like a family, you
know, you think that like someone would be looking after
him or Karen for him. That's just, you know sort of
sad thing. And there's a home out there
where he's not gonna be coming home tonight.
Oh It gets worse, people, die all the time Christ.
(11:25):
I was higher. Start skating the crowd as if
each and every person in the like the people surrounding are
his mother and father and mad athim.
But does anyone appear to know Vinny?
No one here. Looks like they recognize the
(11:48):
body. They mostly just seem to be
onlookers people walking by, whosaw, you know, the cop cars and
were like what the fuck is goingon here?
You don't see anyone pressing toget in and you don't see any
other red teeth links here. You recall that asparagus the
mortician informed you guys thatthese calls are usually made to
(12:08):
bodies that have not been identified by anyone yet.
So no one here, even probably knows his name.
Do we open these last name of water deep?
I don't know. Exactly.
He's mother's name was wait, wait for it.
Wait for it. Sorry one, second.
(12:36):
This is the robot. Her memory Smith cuz they're
Smiths. That's a good memories watching
that struggle. Yes.
(12:58):
Um I'll go up to the cop sir. I think we can help you identify
the body. It's good.
If you can identify them, we cantake a back to his family, you
know. Unfortunately, you guys won't be
able to keep them there. I'm sure you understand. giant,
I think your mistaken, um, you could I've never seen this man
(13:21):
in my life. Crazy work.
Um, by the way, not 20 on the best thing.
Oh my God, oh my God. Um, okay yeah, hold on, let me
pull up his fucking inventory. The guards are turned over and
(13:42):
goes at least if you do figure out anything about this cold,
please let us now, I'm normally,we only let you, you kind of
folks walk off with the unregistered bodies you know
just cleaned up the city a bit but if this is actually a known
person is gonna be a busy on andyou know, that's my paperwork.
I get give a hard stare at jail. You know, I guess, let me get
(14:07):
back to you on there. Maybe it's I think I might just
be Used. All right.
So um, as you Sort of look into Vinny's person.
You learn the following things specifically.
I suppose I should start with the manner of death.
As you look through, you sort of, don't seem to find any true
(14:31):
signs of damage on the body. It must have been either natural
or a sickness but on that 20 yousort of look over his body and
you're Smell something. Maybe know you feel something?
It's the weave that undulates inand out of his body.
This was magic that killed Vinny.
Some sort of magic that killed him outright and quite quickly,
(14:52):
not any sort of magic of flame or ice or any sort of physical
magic, but rather something that's really just went right
for him, perhaps psychic. Additionally, you get a chance
to look around, you'll do determine a more accurate time
of death. The guards estimated about 30
minutes, you sort of finger thatin a little closer figuring out
(15:13):
the cause of death is probably some sort of magical damage.
You determined that? No, it's been a little less than
that. It's been about 25 minutes until
that Vinny has been dead. Finally, as you rifle the
pockets, a bit of this of this poor man.
You find the following things. First off, a couple slivers of
iron in his pocket, likely Smithy tools to be built or
(15:37):
perhaps just raw metal to be broken down.
Additionally, you find a small kit blacksmiths tools.
These are tools that you could add to your inventory.
If you like, he also had on his person 20 silver pieces and four
gold pieces. You're going now.
(16:00):
So, yeah, you put into your inventory or like, what's going
on? I'm gonna get rid of the body
anyway, right. Exactly guys, I I think someone
used a power word kill on any, like, it's what it seems like he
just click. He just died from Magic.
(16:22):
Power word kill. Is that what it sounds like?
Well uh yes yes you know, it's something only the, the Big Wigs
can do, you know, like probably that guy back up the black stuff
Tower. In case he was involved in some
bad shit. You find a few more things on
his body. More evidence, that seems to
(16:43):
imply that he was killed, likelyin some sort of freak accident,
rather, he was on the move between place to place.
This wasn't merely just some sort of meeting.
It's seems like someone must have snuck out of a corner.
Perhaps an ally and taken out Vinny in the middle of his
errands. You find some bent Nails on his
person. And looks like a few small
envelopes. Three in total, two of them are
(17:06):
opened and sort of crumpled one,you take out and quickly read.
It seems to be some sort of order for something and you find
piece of the order, a Scabbard for a blade, a few leather
scraps, or nearby, a couple pieces woven together.
Looks like he was halfway through a project.
The other seems to be some sort of receipt and you sort of
glance at it, and it looks to bea simple receipt for a few raw
(17:30):
pieces of metal, like the iron you saw on his pocket, as well
as some scraps of leather purchased the last letter which
is sealed. I'll leave up to you.
Whether or not you want to open,uh, do I get any bad vibes from
it? You look at it.
The front of it is, merely addressed to Venice, there's no
address on and no return label. The envelope is plain white and
(17:51):
it looks like somebody used a simple black ink to write on it.
Sure, why not? All right.
This looks to be a letter addressed to Vinny and you sort
of glance over, it looks to be from some sort of shooter.
Oh. Dearest Venus, thank you again
for all the kind work. You did on my father's blades,
(18:14):
it is a wonder. You were able to repair them in
such fine and fast fashion. I was impressed with your work,
with your hands, let alone your skill at conversational, during
the long hours. It took I was wondering if you
were interested. In meeting me this eve and it
was a date which you all recognize us today.
Thursday, in the mid spring months in the evening time. 9 pm
(18:38):
meet me at the bridge over the black Grotto.
Perhaps we could discuss more things and you could entertain
me with your conversational at the bottom.
It's signed. And you see a sort of scribble
of a name that's hard to make out.
With a Nat 20 though, which I'llcontinue riding for you.
All right, that's it, right? And why don't you?
(19:03):
it reads from Dean novelli's gay.
Sorry. H e, n.
Okay. Well, you're gonna do it even
(19:24):
when we thought he was straight, right?
So, Yeah, that was weird if we do it this year.
Was this month. Exactly.
Oh does anyone know this Deen novel?
(19:50):
Know, well, guess we better back.
I'm going to take him before he gets cold, guys.
It was, I think right to check his person just to investigate
the cause of death. Magic is a difficult way to kill
someone in water deep. I don't think many people
(20:10):
practice it here. Somewhere sort of looks over to
you the most and gives you a nodand a neutral smile.
That was good work. Good detective in haha.
Thank you Sam. Thank you.
Of course. Um yes I do think it might be
time for us to move on the crowdis getting a bit larger here and
I don't want to be. I don't know question too much.
(20:31):
I do think it would be right to return here after the ritual to
inform the crown guard of VeniceSmith's death at least so the
right people can know Yeah, it'll be great idea.
I mean, the ritual is only to take five minutes, right?
That's what I told us. Yes.
Hopefully, as long as this, uh, that's priestesses quick.
(20:55):
All night. Hi, are you still all right,
with all this and I don't know. it, I can't believe we did this
to any I don't know, I feel I feel as if my decision making
(21:17):
has maybe put the group in a badplace, I think someone else
should decide. I agree.
Either way we we should get out of here.
Yeah, let's fucking just talk orstand.
I just I'm not saying we can't use Vinny for the ritual but I
want to go tell Dean tonight. What happened?
(21:39):
You want to tell Dean he just I don't know, I just feel like
it's it's quite suspicious that, you know, the night.
This man dies is the night. He goes on to go meet this
person. We've never heard of before and
all that is suspicious, I mean, who was it?
Who was Dr? Ham?
Right, who was awesome going to meet someone who've never met
(22:01):
before who also died in the similar way and the middle of
the street. It's true.
It's true. It's it matter how we didn't
kill. I don't believe.
(22:21):
So did we? We told your the cop friend to
Take someone out for us and it just that is that not what
happened. How else does this just happen?
(22:45):
What big city? Lots of people. you can't blame
us for this one Higher, I mean could have easily just been some
sort of, you know, Scoundrel in the alley, looking for money,
stabbed him or I guess magic to him to death, you know, grab
just coin person, laughed. I don't know, I don't know.
(23:05):
It's hard to feel like it wasn'tVinny for a reason.
Like, I guess, I don't look a gift horse in the face, right?
Let's get going. Now, let us helps you back up
the body. The most and you know, the
guards is sort of watch you guysfor a while now and she had to
be getting angsty about the whole thing, right?
If you guys to sort of shovel off.
So, um, sort of taking the hint, you guys grab all your things or
(23:28):
anything else in window would like to do here.
Oh, and He was sort of push off of malagos as they're letting
the body, into the car and turned to the crowd, and try to
look at every one and just yell Dean and see if anyone reacts at
all. Give me a perception.
Check. You sure.
It's not investigation. How sure are you?
I feel like I think you should make absolutely sure.
(23:48):
Let me see that a perception. Check, please.
Okay, 17. Maybe 17 look around a close
attention and you don't see anyone react strongly to that
people, sort of look back and forth.
One of the guards even calls over, is that name that fellow
right there that died? I don't know.
I try to walk into the band after you see the guards, clear
(24:15):
out the area, pretty quickly. As you guys all leave without
sort of a blood splatter or anything.
There's not really much to cleanup.
So after the body is removed, everyone sort of just disperses
you notice, that, a spirit, Gillis the mortician as seems to
have made his exit at some point.
During your long investigation leaving you guys to walk from
here to the temple. Ward.
Not a long walk though, it's theclosest award to here.
(24:37):
So after a brief five-minute Trot and the late afternoon or
early evening, are you guys makeyour way into the temple?
Ward on the Walk? You Feel, You know, despite the
back of holding likely not doinganything still, somehow feel the
weight of a corpse in there as you drag it around, this feels
weird to getting around the bodylike this.
(24:59):
I don't want to make a habit of this.
Think about it anymore than we absolutely have to Benny just
asked us to protect him after wefail to protect his last what?
Friend lover. And now we have we have to tell
the new one. Oh whatever.
It was a first date besides we kicked Vinny out of the group
like weeks ago, you know, we it wasn't protect, he should have
(25:22):
been just like parents or whatever, but It ever did to
Vinny led him here probably, we're probably, the reason he
didn't even go back to his parents or wasn't wasn't with
wasn't with them in the first place.
He was doing Smithy work around town.
I bet he was working for his dad, the most didn't find a
(25:45):
single evil artifact on him fromwhen he was being evil.
You know. Like it seems like it turned a
good Leaf. We did everything we go to
there. It's just you know, rotten luck
who we ran into in the alley. That's all Right.
Just Well, I don't know, man. I mean I'm maybe maybe it's just
something bigger. Like some conspiracy that
someone took him out for us, butI sort of doubt it, we're not
(26:07):
that important like I don't know, I think people just pass
Just bad luck. I don't know.
You sort of drugs and looks at you.
What, what's your, what's your theory here?
Or it feels weird that two people for the same God die in
such a short time and he had hadiron in his pocket.
What does that mean? I don't Know, the lady of pain
(26:30):
said, that was the only thing that could kill Fabrics.
I don't know. But it could have just been in
his wing killed Fabrics, you know, like yesterday.
So it couldn't have been him today, did I?
Don't know, you're drudge towardthe temple Ward.
You guys pass another few blacksmith, he shops some
(26:50):
Tailors. And what looks like, even a
parchment to make her lots of shops in the trash District that
all look to be of hiring down. So to watch you guys Mobley Walk
toward the religious side of town.
On arriving to the temple. Ward, the air changes as you
guys are somewhat used to. Now it gets quieter here, not
(27:11):
only are the people in the street quieter, but there's
almost like a silencing effect on the rest of the city.
The loud sounds of trade and bustles the distant rolling of
carriages, even the sound of theocean, calmly whisking in and
out on the shore. Nearby all seemed to drown out
into a deep and calm silence as you enter the temple.
Ward Here you pass a great many, holy men, and women as they pass
(27:34):
by you individuals, that look tobe deep in prayer kneeling on
the side of the street, some with Open Hands, accepting
gifts, from those who pass by simple copper coins or perhaps a
crumb of bread. It is here, we're not only find
the most Pious people of society, but also some of the
poorest and you guys, we're gonna walk through On the walk,
(27:55):
you notice a couple of things. First off, you notice, there's
just to be some sort of funeral dirge occurring here, you're not
exactly sure where it's coming from.
But after enough turns, you eventually, find that there
looks to be a procession of individuals.
They all look pale and have downturned faces.
You see, long pointy ears, a group of pale elves, all walking
(28:18):
wearing funeral blacks, one by one and a perfect straight line.
Single file seemed to be following something.
You think you might be a casket but it's too far away and
there's some sort of music playing near the front and nasty
discordant tune, but it seems tobe the only noise in this area.
Eventually you guys also pass bythe plinth.
The great sort of hollowed out Temple left for those who have
(28:43):
nowhere else to go. You recall higher that this is
where your fear ends. And even sort of family members,
from the mundane plane have beenholding up for quite a few weeks
now. They've been eagerly awaiting,
your return and word of Monty. And you walk by just at the
right distance where you can tell none of them notice you.
But you see a great many 50 or so you would guess people from
(29:06):
the mundane plan, all sort of circles around.
But looks like some sort of large campfire, you think
they're likely grilling, whatever meat they have left, or
reheating a stew that they've like, been made making for a few
days now. And you sort of see your people
in this way, but Judy calls and you push backs.
Yeah, I'm gonna try to like shrink as I walk really tense
(29:29):
up. You tense up as you go by there.
You notice to a lot of people inthe plinth, sort of shy away
from you guys, as well, not onlythose for pain, but several
other hundreds of people who reside here, who truly have
nowhere else to turn the baker'sof society.
And those who, who have likely been cast out from their own
places of worship, all seems to reside here and they shy away as
(29:52):
you guys walk by sensing your sort of Aura.
So it's very solemn here. Eventually you guys approach the
Temple of mystra. A place you've all been before
you're greeted by a familiar elegant building which you
recall is tall and wide made of white marble.
One of the largest buildings in the entire Temple Ward, and very
(30:14):
elegant blue veining runs throughout the marble and you
see crystalline Windows etched with sigils and symbols of
mystra, shining into the building your entrance, and you
see two large copper, razors releasing thick, plumes of
silver smoke into the air right in front of the entrance and
(30:35):
both huge double doors are open wide in the air is thick with
incense you smell but almost smells like components of magic
copper and Soil, and some sort of spice.
Heading inside. And at this point, I imagine you
guys would have because you guysleft Monty in the hotel, right?
(30:59):
Karen, a lot of nothing. I mean, I feel like, you know,
because of the time urgency would we have brought in with us
or or was that like too much? Oh god.
Well I guess we would have brought him with us but then it
would have been like bad to havehim like out.
(31:22):
I feel like at the scene and we only have so many bags.
Well it's it's no matter honestly the your hotel is a
three minute walk for the templeWar according to my map here.
So um if you guys just want to, you know, sort of time travel a
bit as a one of you higher runs back to the hotel and grabs
Monty and slowly walks him. Back, we can reconvene here at
(31:44):
the front of the Temple of mistress.
You guys see higher runoff, you guys get a brief moment of
hanging out. So, you know, this whole thing
that we all have to be here for it because like, I don't really
know magic. So I can't really help with
like, the whole thing and it's like, you know, we're gonna take
a long time. So like a waiting room, Her.
(32:06):
Do you have some place to be malagos?
Oh no. But I don't know, man.
It's just like he's gonna come back, right?
Like it's all good. If I'm here, you're here.
Okay. Sounds like or a fake gonna be
here either. Be here, but we're not going to
make. Higher to load.
It's a no one said alone. I just think like the nicer
(32:28):
people here, you know, you're the most is, or you're some
years can look after him, you know, stick jire around here.
You like, you're on the hitch and half your shots. well, that
mean No. I'm not worried about it.
I just, you know, I mean we're not gonna be able to help with
(32:48):
the whole ritual, so I guess I'mjust here from oral support, but
I'm not that good at morally, supported people.
You know? I mean, the most, you know, me?
Do I really seem like the type to be like, yeah, go demos and
all. I guess that's true.
But I mean, I want to be, it's gonna be quite the spectacle,
anyways, you know, I feel like I'm sure and don't get me wrong,
I would totally cheer for you, if you're in some sort of
(33:09):
sporting event or like game of chance, but this seems sort of
like, and Weather friend malagos.
Fuck does that mean. What do you think?
It's a good place. But when they watch you to,
Help. But yeah, no one wants to hang
out with people. When things are shity.
I mean it makes sense if that was true.
(33:31):
No one would hang out with you ever.
Hey, what the fuck? It's true or higher you return.
With Monty in hand Monty shuffling along and sort of a
zombified stupor just intelligent enough to
understand, commands, and followyou around, but what little is
left in here, can't really communicate with you.
Well, and is very dark sort of cloudy eyes.
(33:54):
Show. What looks like Signs where his
body while still in very fine condition looks almost be
weathering as if he's got some sort of sunburn perhaps or is
almost desiccating away. Like, he's dehydrated just
general signs of malnourished signs of a body decomposing.
(34:14):
You guys all meet up in the front of the Temple of mystra
and that strong incense from inside is wafting out, all
right? You ready to go higher and we're
all gonna be here for you. Okay, all of us.
Sure. Uh, thank you.
Yeah, let's do this. All right, so the group of you
all head into the temple of mystra.
(34:37):
You see these priests all wearing blue and silver robes,
which seemed to give out alms tothose who come by.
There are a number of people here in the temple.
Mostly elderly people, you can tell all mulling about or
sitting in the long prayer booths waiting for a priest to
give them sort of a one-on-one personal prayer.
(34:57):
It's a very personal here, very almost, very calm, and high
budget as priesthoods go. Everything seems very fine and
expensive and well cleaned here. You notice specifically, and one
of the sides of the temple, all along the left wall seems to be
(35:18):
a row of cloaked priests and priestesses all whispering to
one another. And you notice sort of stationed
in front of them turn toward them, almost marching up and
down like a drill. Sergeant is what looks like an
individual dressed in the blue and silver rose.
But almost more refined, more elegant and seems to be a bit
almost taller than the rest not quite in stature of the
(35:41):
individual wearing them. But rather the clothes
themselves. The, there's a hat that seems to
be incorporated in. That's a bit taller, almost like
an archbishops and you see long sort of flowing robes coming off
of what looks like high shoulderpieces that attach to the front
of this individual's. Garb.
It looks like some sort of higher level priest or Priestess
(36:03):
of mystra. Not only in the Garb but also in
the way they seem to be moving back and forth and now you get a
chance to listen to a little bitmore chastise the Cloaked
priests and priestesses up against the wall correcting
culture, or way of speaking. They're Whispering commenting on
their prayer technique and even on the way they hold themselves,
it seems all very judgmental. Would you like to do?
(36:29):
Do I see that guy? That we met here?
Last time? Give me a perception check.
Oh, don't tell me. Tease on the stand getting
criticized right now. Oh, Minus 2.
Ah, six. You look around on you, don't
spot him immediately. It does look like there is a
(36:51):
Dragonborn you call your previous friend was a
Dragonborn, getting chastised inthe line with the heavy cloak,
you're not that sure that it's the same person you Know, will I
suppose, we should probably go talk to that important and
looking person over there. If anyone is going to be our
What did they call then? The arch priest.
(37:12):
It's probably that right there. All right, um I guess I guess
the most goes up. Um it's gonna try to go up like
as like non-intrusive as possible and just sort of be
like, hello, we have an appointment, the woman sort of
turns her head to the side to speak to you and sort of raspy
(37:35):
Whispering voice comes out of her.
She goes just a minute. I'm working on the new recruits
and she turns away her face disappearing, a moment.
You barely got a second to look at it and you hear a quiet
voice, go. And are you my review?
I believe so, you know the special riverfire.
(37:55):
Oh goodness. Yes, she turns around and you
see a woman's face. A what looks like a half Elven
woman. Very pale but elegant and old
too with what looks like tight obsidian black hair with flecks
of gray. Tied back in a ring of Silver
cords her long blue and white robes are vin with long threads
(38:20):
of brilliant Sparkles. And you see her face has looks
like freckles on it that are speckled with blue and white
almost like magic. It looks to have been done on
there on purpose to give her a sort of a Regal and very Arcane
are she gives you a kind sort ofold lady smile and goes.
Well then why didn't you show methe poor lad gonna shove Monte
(38:44):
forward? She approaches sort of without
flourish and you see a sigh of relief coming out for many of
the acolytes on the wall behind her, getting chest eyes but none
of them move. She approaches to Monte and her
gaze lingers on him briefly and speaks very calmly.
(39:04):
Yes, this one walks close to theline, Half flash, half elf.
You want to understand that. Resurrection is not free.
It must be earned. Yes.
Yes. We've brought the monetary
requirement, and also, the fleshy.
Requirement good. The price is agreed.
(39:28):
Gold for the spell in one freshly dead body to fuel the
convergence of energies. My power is not free and mistre
blesses, those who pay what magic demands.
She gives another kind smile. And turns away sort of gesturing
(39:48):
toward what looks like a long hallway, cut into the wall
beside her acolytes, she walks toward it and I you sort of get
the feeling that she implied that you're to follow her.
And as you guys go in, you notice the acolytes the Dozen or
soap against the wall slowly file.
In behind you guys, or trapping you in the corridor, they carry
(40:09):
things with them, censors and silver.
Scrolls would looks like ritual equipment, So you need a
resurrect your friend, a hard task especially for someone so
deeply Disturbed as this one. She just to Monte as you guys
sort of walk terrible. Things must have happened for
(40:31):
him to have such a fake yes, we had a Ugly, run it with a
wannabe Necromancer or else at the word Necromancer lady
considering whether or not she counts as a necromancer.
She's about to perform some evil.
(40:57):
People worshiped, the magic goddess, right?
So why are they performing Resurrection?
Well and so are they Wizards or clerics?
Oh well I mean the most worshipsthis lady and demos isn't
declaring. This is a wizard.
Yeah, I mean maybe worship is a strong word.
Demos demos, come here. oh, that's, I mean he has a quick
(41:25):
glance back at the lady. That's silly.
I mean, I think I think so. She seems like she was blessed
like by Mistral or something, but like, Then why do you
worship? I mean, I feel like I'm just on
good terms with her really? That's about it.
(41:45):
So you're more like equals. Oh, I I wouldn't say that.
I mean, maybe once in a while, but, you know, not really, you
know, I feel like right to her more, you'd get more Magic.
(42:07):
I feel like, I feel like she's the kind who, like like a good
afterlife, that caught something, you know.
It seems very transactional here.
You don't want to end up like a steamos.
Oh, I mean, what do you mean, like us?
We're fine. We both went to shit after life.
I mean, he's probably just gonnago to the magic after life.
Like Monty probably just went tothe whatever mundane playing
(42:31):
afterlife, right? And Monty's.
Notice you went to hell either. Um, it's called the nine Hells
sweetie. You gotta count on nine, don't
call me sweetie. Well, don't you know, summarize
for me. Hi, you were there.
You didn't see all nine of them,I didn't see all of them either.
Anyway, I think maybe in your back pocket is good, you know,
(42:57):
maybe I need a try out this whole mistress thing cuz they
see him like they got, you see how expensive this place looks?
I mean You think she is watching?
He sort of looks like I look up.She watching you see a stone
ceiling. Oh, at the woman we're walking
by Now let's get to sort of looking straight out.
(43:25):
You guys continue walking along this hallway and you find spills
out into it looks like a small ritual chamber, a circular room
surrounded by Stone pylons, inlaid with silver lines.
You see? Beautiful standard glass on
every wall of this room. You're not sure if you saw from
(43:46):
the outside but you see light pouring in from all these
standing glass windows almost like you're at area, there's a
beautiful sort of silvery light that pours through and you're
not sure if it's real or perhapssome magic.
But nevertheless, it quite illuminates.
This room for demos. This room.
Reminds you almost uncannily of the room.
You went to beneath the Temple of mystra.
(44:08):
The, the Chamber of Sorrows thatyou spent some time in producing
the price of this exact ritual. While that one was dark, and
with dark pillars here, seems tome much light like to gray
coloring and bright. Silver everywhere they seem
almost like mirror images of oneanother The arch priest leads
(44:28):
Monty toward the center of the chamber in the center of what
looks like some sort of large spell circle.
You see lines pre-drawn on the ground and look like a silver
chalk, and Monty is placed in the center and you see the woman
leaned down to where Monty and whisper something in his ear.
And he's sort of perks his head up and stand still and rigid in
the center of the room, she makes her way to the edge and
(44:51):
she beckons you all to join her as well.
All the Twill of acolytes spill in and sort of take places along
the outside of this transmutation circle.
All of them seem to be holding some sort of pool.
You see bells and censors and would even look like some spell
books. And tones, all likely
instruments of mistress power and likely all to be used in the
(45:12):
same way or another. It's very in practice.
Nevertheless though, the woman steps forward and speaks I name
is e rivel. Be sure to remember that we
begin. This, I do, take tips.
Stone. Yes, it's not the right crowd
(45:35):
for that. Then, let's just get down to
Beach news and her face, grows dark, and she speaks very
quietly almost at the lean into here.
What you're about to see is not necessarily the wishing of the
Divine goddess, but she gives methe power nonetheless to do it.
So I shall use it in every sparesecond.
I have so that I may feel her blessings flow through me.
(45:57):
What you will see here today is dangerous and it has potential
to have disastrous effects. So I asked that you all stand
behind this circle of the transmutation, circle in the
matter. What you hear today, do not step
over that line. You'll hear Christ for help.
You'll hear please from your friend here, Monty, please save
me. Please it hurts.
(46:18):
Please. Stop this lady, from doing this.
You'll hear this, but just know,it's not him saying it.
It's other things that want to pass through the veil.
If we stop the ritual, halfway your brother will be left in a
halfway position, sole fractured, other pieces of other
things between the Realms pulledthrough the mail lady of magic.
Give me her blessing, but she doesn't teach us how to wield it
(46:41):
very well. So, you must understand that my
practice with this is what limited she speaks even quieter
now, which she goes what's more right back in you all to, please
enjoy the show with the help of your friend and she gestures.
Very obviously, now Demos you guys all sort of get a moment to
(47:02):
watch this happen. The price of this ritual has
been lowered, quite significantly, both the cost in
components, as well as the time it takes.
What five minutes is all I require my accolades will guide
me in this process and I shall do my best, but there is one
thing and she leans down now toward higher and she gives you
(47:25):
a very Stony face as she goes. You are the closest to this man
here. Yes.
Only one here, the new him. Then unfortunately, it falls on
you to help me a bit with this ritual.
Nothing major. But it could be the difference
between his whole sword returning and merely you see you
might need to guide him a bit with words of encouragement or
(47:47):
perhaps just your voice could beenough in the past.
When I have done this, a widowermight to grieve for her lost
Husband by reminiscing of Stories, the two of the shared
to bring him closer or a brother.
Such as yourself, might discuss Past Times.
You might have enjoyed with yourbrother here.
Merely keep your voice present and channel your energy.
(48:10):
Through me, it might sound unimportant, but if a soul is to
be guided into this body, it might as well here a voice at
members and recognizes not one as Old is mine.
Cool second. Oh cool.
Remind him of stories as he whatlike begs for the pain to stop
(48:32):
sort of thing. Yes.
All right, it won't last that long.
But five minutes your friend andshe just yet again, very
obviously the Deep so this returns and Crosses his eyes a
bit. I'm sorry crosses his eyebrows.
Oh, helped lower the time. Commitment, it would have been
(48:53):
much worse. If it was the normal eight hours
time, commitment of here in yourbrother plead and beg for you to
intervene, she gives you a sort of slice smile, demos flexes a
little bit. Yeah.
Oh my God. Right to then the rest of you, I
see Jimmy Lee watching and give your friend encouragement and
(49:16):
again, do not cross the circle under any means, I wish you all
the best of luck in this processand I hope your brother returns.
In one piece, she turns to whereyou hire once more and repeat
herself. Just so, you know, your
performance in this endeavor, could be the difference between
your whole brother and a Of him.So do your best and no pressure.
(49:39):
Okay. I asked like everyone else to
like, hold me back. Maybe, maybe like, bring me down
for this but no, no, I'm ready, I'm ready.
Let's, let's walk in. If you would like, you can she
sort of structure shoulders and goes in times past I've done
this. Sometimes a poor words can be
(50:01):
even worse than no words. I've had people play completely
silent and get her somewhat holeversion of their loved one.
And those who say things that don't quite connect, and they
get back something, even worse. She shrugs again.
No, it's I'm ready. This is what this is.
What my god goddess is. Led me towards Right.
(50:23):
Then the gold please. And she just used the center
where Monty's still? Well, I guess we just hand over
the goal. Yeah, through All right, whoever
was keeping track of the ritual gold.
Please subtract and now. That's died.
As we start the ritual candy. Most hold the whole person spell
(50:45):
just in case. Oh my God.
All right. Yeah.
You can hold it. Would anyone else like to
prepare anything? Singh himself, like A lot of
Aces is for people. All right, then the ritual draws
(51:09):
near you. Notice the room darkens.
Just a hair. The silver light flowing in a
bit less bright. And a smell feels the room.
And Earthen smell, the smell of fresh Mulch and a bell dings.
Vertebrates with the room is oneof the acolytes hits, it hard.
(51:31):
And you see it reveal the high priestess sort of kneel down and
begin entering into the ring. She steps two feet inside the
transmutation circle in kneels down her hands, clasp and a
prayer. And she begins a muttering very
quickly and quietly and then theacolytes around.
You all begin chanting for a wordless sort of guttural chant.
(51:58):
It feels the room quickly, all of their voices harmonizing and
resonating with the room as it almost shakes beneath your feet.
And the ritual is beginning, sound just sort of buzzing sound
pierces through the air and you feel it's hard to explain almost
tenseness in the air. How are you watch as Monty's
(52:19):
head whips back and forth and confusion and fear he looks
around and you hear croak Echoeswith melt Not nothingness, sound
something similar to what has been saying for the past couple
of almost a week now that you'vebeen with him, the high
priestess began speaking in common.
Now speaking words toward mystrablood and bond speak.
(52:43):
Now give voice, give pull the weave decide she speaks, and
then returns to sort of muttering and Monty begins sort
of whipping back and forth, iroval turns toward the group of
you and looks at you hire and speaks almost calmly as if this
isn't a big deal. Oh, sweetie now would be a good
time to maybe put in a good wordwith your own deity.
(53:04):
Whoever you and your brother worshiped, might help the whole
process and she Winks at you andturns back.
Hierarchy, can you give me a religion?
Check to start this process. Yeah, I'm Gonna Roll really well
you guys, I've actually decided that it was scary.
A great news about 24. 24, that's a great great role.
(53:32):
Um you pray, you pray hard and you feel even though you're
surrounded by mystra in every possible way.
You feel a sort of beam of your goddess ethera shine through all
of this sort of hazy, Arcane light us, a beautiful bright
blue neutral, feeling shines through you.
And you feel calm, you feel yourGod is there with you.
(53:54):
And you see Monty noticeably relax, some of that fear and
dread and doubt sucked out of him the same way your rings
sucks out of motion and he calmsthe rest of you guys.
Watch is the ritual continues. Now for a bit that was your
first check, hiring you succeeded.
The original continues a bit more and the mini acolytes
(54:15):
around. You, continue chanting and doing
strange things with items in their hands.
You see a small boy, you think no older than 12, or 13, pull
out of symbols and begin cutting.
Banging them together loud, filling the room with this
cacophonous, sound the beautifulsilver symbols disappear,
(54:37):
quickly afterward and silence returns.
And then another Bell. Ding fills the room and then
more of the chanting and it feels all around you.
It's like they've been practicing this for days.
In fact, you're pretty sure theyhave been practicing it, the
woman sits on the ground. You notice iroval spins more
time. Now, ducking down her head
(54:57):
almost in prayer bowing toward Monty and raising her hands up
to the sky and tantang out what sound like Arcane words, almost
like a spell. But nothing seems to be
happening. Not immediately, she Dives down
again, he noticed the mini gold pieces that you precluded here.
Slowly seemed to be physically into what looks like puffs of
(55:19):
gold smoke. You hear Magus, go, fuc.
It's just gonna go, oh, he's up her arm.
So, it's breaks away from the group, go save the gold.
The circle and looks at like a pile of 30 or so gold pieces.
Like lying nearby within arm's distance look, it's just right
(55:40):
there. This Focus.
Dude, this is dark. Look, I guess.
Monty's. Not that upset.
You see, Monty is a eyes are still wide now and something
seemed to be returning to him. While giving a moment of
calmness more emotions are coming back to him and the color
almost seems to be coming back to a scales, sort of turns
(56:02):
around looking in each Directionand opens his mouth, a bit I and
you see is yellow tongue, sort of stick out for a second.
As he jokes down, what looks like nothing and then he begins
choking loud and he drops down to one knee and holds a hand to
(56:22):
his throat and he hear words human words common come up from
his voice. Oh my God.
And you see fear show up in his eyes and recognition, he looks
around and he sees each one of you and he sees you higher and
you see recognition, his eyes aren't clouded over anymore.
(56:43):
You see black irises, you see, fear and darkness and his eyes
and he seems scared and clawing at his throat and you're Revell
continues sort of chanting and praying without turning.
Would you like today? Um, I'm fully and sort of
holding, valgus back. I'm now hiding my face in
(57:04):
malaga's Goat. This is horrifying also like
cover gray. Ears.
The pain on his face looks real and you see it higher.
It looks familiar, the agony seems to be scratching at his
throat. You see, scales slowly being
chipped off real pain, the clawsscratching at it.
You see it's like there's something tied around his neck.
Almost the way he's scratching at it.
He's choking more and more and it's painting you to see this.
(57:26):
The woman turns, very calmly back to you and how high Speaks.
Now would be a good time for those nice stories dearie.
Yeah. She turned back and continues
chanting. Yeah.
Yeah, okay. Okay.
Um, I think higher instead of trying to rely on this ring
right now, if anything is gonna be crazy, right?
(57:49):
He's gonna slip the ring off andkind of just like grip it in his
hand really like grip onto it really for dear life and he's
gonna say okay okay, Monty Monty.
I I'm sorry I I know this hurts.I know and I know this isn't
good but please have to come back.
(58:11):
You your life was torn away fromyou, much too early.
But there's so much that you cando here and help people.
I one of the first time you evertaught me.
I feel like anything was the dayyou bought black Splash and
tick. I, I know you remember them, you
you wrote about them, you brought in these just these two
(58:36):
little kangaroo girls and you didn't know them and you had
just met them just the day before.
But yeah, I could, I could tell you, could you cared for them so
much more than anyone in our place seemed to really care for
anyone. And they were just these two
kids taken away from their homes, just like we were.
And they were scared. And they didn't know what had
(59:00):
happened to them or their people.
They couldn't even talk, tell uswhat had happened, but you
guided them in. And, and we ended up spending
all this time together and splashing tick.
You're the one who let them grow, who gave them a second
chance at life. Sure, it was ethera the place we
grew up but you're the one that went out there in saved them.
(59:23):
Let them had a chance. So let them have a chance at
anything. I, I fought to get you back for
so long because I've seen the way that you can really bring
all of us together, the whole ofethera you're the one that made
us whole, if not just representing us from, you know,
from the sidelines. And I, I think back to home, and
(59:45):
in your diary, you even talked about, you know, all the times
together, when we were young, wewould play with the food, the
mushrooms and Hilton would get mad at us.
You were the only thing that made home feel like home.
Everyone. There was just an acquaintance,
but you actually took the time and the time to play dice.
(01:00:06):
The time to talk, the time to explore more to the world.
You were what made ethera home Monty and our home is gone.
Please you have to come back, you have to make this hole.
Oh, very nice. Higher for that.
(01:00:27):
I would like a persuasion check please.
And honestly for your really great speech there, I will give
you advantage on this check. Well felt bobbled.
Um Okay so huge um I didn't rollwith the advantage but also roll
one more time but it was pretty good first time.
Oh good thing. One of those.
(01:00:53):
Isn't that one? Oh, but the other one is, in
fact, another 24. Oh my god, get a little of this
guy. All right?
Yes. Then higher you.
You speak these beautiful long stories toward Monty and it
doesn't really seem to be reacting.
Most you still coughing out and choking on something and what
(01:01:13):
few breaths he could get in goes.
Please help me. Please help me.
But you're sure what you're doing is working because you see
a smile grow or face of irrelevant of high priestess, is
she to word you and sort of nodsand appreciation and she turns
back and continues the ritual and you notice that quickly.
(01:01:34):
The accolades also seem to be building to something.
They're chanting increasing and they're playing of the Bells and
the symbols all rising and Rising.
You hear the sound of magic. Echo, echo throughout the room.
It feels each one of you with us.
Sort of deep sense in your stomach, like almost turning it
(01:01:55):
over the feeling of Rich, Arcaneall around, you, the weave,
spinning and twirling. And to some of you Demos in
particular, this is a very familiar feeling this power of
Mr, right? Next to you and the feeling
Rises and Rises and higher, you can continue speaking your
stories and you feel as though they're working and Monty can
continue. And the woman stands up and she
(01:02:19):
screeches out something a word of a powerful word, and you
can't tell what it is, but it sounds extremely magical in
whatever it is. And then all the Crash of some
sort of Thunder as the room getsmuch brighter and brighter until
it's nearly white with sunlight. And you were all blinded for a
moment and then it seems to calmblinking the Starlight out of
(01:02:42):
each of your eyes. You see the acolytes of all
bowed their heads, their hoods covering them, they're
available, The High Priestess, stands up now and sort of backs
away and Monty is collapsed on the ground.
And you can continue to hear himchoking softly, she turns
towards you on. Now, when she has a genuine look
of worry, on her face, as she goes, go help him help him now.
(01:03:05):
Oh, God me. I said help him before, we'll
just go. Marty. and the Material it's
over. Go help him.
I think he's joking. Oh my God, I'll run in.
(01:03:26):
All right, you run. And you see Monty still was sort
of discolored yellow. Flecks of what looked like
scales on him but it's coloring has come back, much more in his
face. Looks normally his eyes are
beating and sort of frightened But there again and you see his
mouth open and he's still clawing at his throat as if
something's in it, which is done.
(01:03:50):
He's back now, you gotta help him.
I don't know what's wrong, but it looks like he's choking on
something. God dammit, he's your friend,
doesn't he? He's a brother.
If he appears to be choking, I give me a medicine.
Check to see if you can. Look at this Mason, you wouldn't
(01:04:11):
kill him again. No like this, what would be
really embarrassing? Wouldn't it?
17. 717, I like that. All right.
You lean over Monte sort of assessing him, you find there is
something sort of caught in his throat.
You're not sure what it is. And you curl up behind him,
dragging them onto your plate mail and perform a heimlich
(01:04:32):
pulling on his chest and tugging, pulling all the sudden,
something shoots out of Monty's mouth.
A disgusting little black ball of what looks like resin and
tall and sap and it looks like some sort of nasty piece of
natural something. Hits with a flat on the ground
(01:04:54):
nearby, and one of the accolades, sort of Dodgers out
of the way. So, it's not that near it.
And then Monty, Good and Monty Monty turns towards you.
And you see, he's got this look of recognition and a smile on
his face. Any, oh, Speaks your name and he
(01:05:16):
turns the words, when he looks exhausted and in pain and all
the sudden now you really started noticing it before.
You didn't really get a chance to see it because of the slow
movements he had. But now, as he's moving more
human, you see, this is arms area bit shriveled up his legs.
A bit of emaciated. He's not eaten in a long time
and he's looks like he's been dehydrated.
You just looks kind of sick, andyou can tell just as he's
(01:05:39):
reaching up toward you speaks again through a crooked.
Oh, he reaches up and he grabs your Yale faith and he gives a
charming smile and then it's hand sort of drops and his head
curls to the side and passes outBallantyne.
He's all right, this happens allthe time.
This is just how it goes. Usually, they can't last that
long, they come back a lot to work lives in.
(01:06:03):
Um, I'm gonna go ahead and just for just for fun just because,
you know, I really can. Um, I'm gonna really embrace my
brother. Give him a hug and we'll doing
show, cast a death Ward. Who.
All right. Um, as my first, fourth level
(01:06:25):
spell granting, it a protection from Death.
Allegedly for eight hours. Wow.
All right. Um, so I suppose yeah.
Right. You know hours, I like it.
So I suppose since Monty is on conscious right now would be the
next time that he drops beneath the zero.
(01:06:45):
Wait, sorry. When you go in contest, I
thought you dropped two zero, that's right.
Yeah, so we can under this is the under 0 or 2 0.
It says, when it would. Oh interesting.
Yes, sir, right? When it does say when it drops
20, not below zero Health never goes below.
Yeah, never goes below zero. Yes.
(01:07:07):
So any any death would be this, okay, cut that then Um but I
mean you can surely cast it as asign of good faith, okay.
You feel a series magic course through you stronger than it
ever has before and your goddessgives you a feeling of strength
and passion. As you feel your magic soothe
(01:07:29):
Monty in his peaceful Slumber, irave The High Priestess nods
and goes. Well then, I must be on my way
back to my main Temple. Thank you all for a well done.
Resurrection, you did very good, their higher and she knows that
you gives you a wise smile and goes, I saw a lot of you when I
was bringing him back, a lot of you, you seem like a good kid
(01:07:50):
was this ceremony supposed to hurt.
So I'm sorry I can't help but that you mean her to, you know,
of course not you were left on harmed, she nods again and
smiles and sort of whisks her hands away to signal to the
acolytes to leave the room leaving.
You guys sort of below and leavewhenever you're able.
(01:08:13):
And if you'd like anything else, you can find me in the main
rooms, she knows again and walksout table.
That's the human. Yes, I suppose.
I'm here, too. Just been a bit quiet as old.
It's a nasty thing bringing someone back to life.
(01:08:36):
You must forgive me, I've had myhead in other things, I've
actually been thinking a lot about death of Venice there.
He gestures to the transmutationcircle where you notice that the
place that you put Vinny's body or rather.
Yeah, where Vinny's body used tobe before it seemed to have
evaporated along with all the coins gestures down.
Well, I'm so glad we looted the porch app.
(01:08:58):
I mean there seems to be nothingleft.
You look down and truly the transmutation circle is
completely empty. No gold.
Nobody know nothing and all the chaos you guys.
Barely noticed is appearance butnow it's Stark and a bit
overwhelming. Oh damn.
I guess we have nobody to bring back to his family, too bad.
I can't help but think this is somehow what Mr. Would have
wanted. I don't know.
(01:09:19):
I I wanted it to just be a body of someone.
Maybe we hated or someone maybe we didn't know it at least, but
we had to trade a life for a life and somehow it felt like it
was supposed to be like a friendfor a friend, almost that whole
like, five minutes where Monty had to go through all that pain.
(01:09:40):
I don't get how how demos could have just paid?
All that back himself, you should reflect again.
He must does flex again. Oh, After the scars.
No sorry. Was that was that malaga's
voice? Yeah.
Oh well, step out from where he's been sort of hiding behind
(01:10:06):
valgus. Well step out the wrong word,
maybe peek out by malaga's does Monty look like Fully Alive.
Now, you look and Monty does look fully alive right now.
Is he normal, is that. That's what she's meant to look
like higher and higher. You notice he is a bit
discolored. I mean, you've definitely seen
Monty healthier. This is sort of what Monty looks
(01:10:26):
like when perhaps he's got the flu or is like not been eating
well for a while. But, you know, still definitely
more alive than 24 hours ago. This is him, he's certainly
weaker. But this is him.
I guess he Sage the bit as well but yeah, this is him, okay.
sort of I am rarely, did you think he would look like
(01:10:49):
different or Oh, it's just that a minute ago.
A minute ago. He was dead.
And we and then it's like almost, we saw him die.
And like, all over again, and now he's back.
Went anywhere. Oh, he was away.
(01:11:10):
So it sounds like in whatever performance.
Mr. Wanted was to almost recall his soul back.
So it. Yes.
I I think it I guess it did go somewhere.
I mean I did. Okay.
Alright. You guys think it's all here.
Yeah yeah no he looks he looks alot better very convincing
(01:11:31):
speech. He looks like he has a soul.
Yeah, I mean he just looks like he needs a good steak, that's
all fix him right up. The ritual is complete.
Congratulations, higher. And the making at this finding
both resources and the corpse tomake it happen.
Now in front of you, Monk body lies still and somewhat
(01:11:53):
peaceful. You know, there's still a bit of
blood trickling down his neck for more, he's been scratching
at it for the past five minutes and you sort of hesitate to
think of what could have happened over the course of
eight hours. If that had to continue
nevertheless though, you think the ritual was successful and
albeit? There seemed to be a few signs
of that lingering afterlife, forexample, his malnourished body
(01:12:13):
and the wheezing sort of rasp hehas in his throat.
But nevertheless you think it was successful and his whole
soul return to the body? Now, left alone in the temple of
mystery, you guys sort of have the evening to yourselves.
Would you like to do before we leave could demo grab a vial and
scoop in that. That black bile, that Monty spat
(01:12:36):
out. Oh my God, the scientists over
here? Yes, the most you, you look at a
vial off your backpack. I can scoop in this sort of
black, tarry ball, scoop it right in there for later.
The most. What do you need that for?
Oh I don't know. You know just seems interesting
or important I mean it does a man need an explanation for
(01:12:57):
hobbies. Anyways.
That's good. All right.
Well I would call that a ravishing success chin up old
sporty, Patty on the back, higher, your brother's back to
life. Let's celebrate.
Why don't you bring back to lifea little you, some of your thing
and pull them up past this zero there.
I mean come now, surely he must be awake for all this.
I feel as if he's gone through enough artificial magic, I would
(01:13:20):
almost feel more comfortable. I feel as if he got some real
rest, Maybe, All right, whateveryou say, you can certainly
celebrate. Now know, we'll wait for you old
chap goodness, sir. It's was quite a nasty thing.
I imagine that even went throughquite a bit, if you want, we can
all return to the ease of the, to the end for the evening bed
(01:13:40):
down, I believe there is a bit more we can do tonight with
other things. You sort of wink that the most,
oh, the the music. That's, of course, the music
come. Now, you just don't do them off
friend here as a song. He wants to share with us and
more so we can solve a bit of a mystery on the bridge.
(01:14:00):
I mean, if you want to go do that, you certainly canned or a
face. I mean, sounds like it's right
up your alley, finding some sortof suit on a bridge,
romantically a suited for you. It's a romantic place.
Oh yeah. Actually quite yes.
(01:14:26):
I could do that for sure. Yeah, I think it's a good idea.
I mean, I'm betting my goal thathe won't be that because I feel
like he's the only killed in US.Here's the thing guys, even if
we're seeing that Dean is evil and killed of any, what interest
we still want to have a few words of Dean about killing her
(01:14:47):
friend. We have almost no evidence.
It was Dean. Because if he's actually evil,
we should extra meet with him. You know, well then it sounds
like we all need to go there or face is that?
No, we don't tell me to go. I'm just saying it's not a
(01:15:10):
Fool's errand, it's important for a lot of reasons.
Yes, of course. All right, all right, let's get
on with it then I suppose I'll never get to my musical
Enterprise with doom and demos sort of music.
I I just Now let's go go together.
This is some sort of knave, we should, at least face them all
together, okay? But maybe we don't come on to
(01:15:31):
strong all at once. What's time is it still?
What time is it? I do let me sort of zero in and
it's um, it's only been about five minutes of being here, but
with long walk in the late evening or rather.
Sorry. Early evening.
Late afternoon, Airy smell. Yeah, it's about 6:20, you would
guess it's about 6:20. Okay.
(01:15:53):
We've got what's 2 hours and forth, few minutes, until we're
meant to meet Steve. So how about she go back to the
hotel? Tuck Monty.
And you guys can play some music, I can shower.
Sounds good to me. I'm just ready to go to bed I
guess because the smile. Sick bastard.
Yeah, probably, I'm sick with something Jesus, that's what I'm
saying. Wait, not that Idol, though,
(01:16:16):
right? Extremely ill.
So rude, you and I might if we're if I'm supposed to believe
that we're really alive right now.
You might want to find someone aholy man, secure you soon.
All right, we're in the temple District.
So, well, they go back to the hotel.
We could ask around about what Imean.
It's really worth it. It's fine.
(01:16:39):
Let's just go back, fine. See or face is no big deal.
It's no like a completely different person at home.
You're supposed to be, how you usually are, which means you
feel, really terribly rice. Now even if you don't understand
(01:17:02):
that. So we need to fix it.
Come on, let's let's pop in a few places on our way out to the
temple District. All right?
You guys can go ahead up your switching your fucking you shit
too much. Or if you just a second ago, it
was all. Let's go.
This what? Ever brought on the bridge and
then it's all. Let's go play music and now it's
let's go fix malicious, I mean, pick a lane.
(01:17:25):
Now, I guess we need to Dean. It's 9 p.m. we have two hours
and 40 minutes to kill and we'rein the temple.
Ward already know it's bedtime. All right bedtime.
Okay, I'm going to ask her out. Well, I think we should head
back. I mean, clearly Monty is a I
mean look, we just brought it back to fucking life.
I mean, sort of just he just wasover and you see higher.
It's still sort of sat down withMonty cupping him where the
(01:17:47):
Heimlich was just given and Malik is continuously.
We should fucking go back. I mean, Jesus like, this is what
we did today. This was our thing.
It was just gonna move on Pastorso fast RFA, as Look at Monty.
Yes. He Could all pretty much tell
that orifice is trying to sell the exact opposite side of the
groups and Monty. And he giving time ah fine,
(01:18:08):
let's go back but I want to get you to someone a professional
soon illness or Apollo was what the priest said when I asked him
but we should see Malagos crosses his arms and gives you
sort of a stink eye, you're justgonna move on past Monty so
fast. Uh, sort of rude to hire.
I don't show what you expect from email.
I guess I yellow over from across the group, since the
(01:18:34):
orifice, keeping their distance, but I'm like, yeah, I'd like to
not move on from hot Monty but actually next time, my healing
list malice is and I take a piece of paper.
That is nothing on it. Actually you buddy, I I think
you are the next person that I need to heal my list.
(01:18:55):
So just to move on from Avanti. I'm just saying.
Like I personally don't really know how to help want to eat
this moment. Yeah.
But your next malaga's fuck active threat.
People are fucking evil Jesus. Let's just go back to the room.
All right. So irritating, you're so fucking
(01:19:19):
stubborn. I Sucker.
All right, so where Where would you guys like to go?
I mean, Room. All right, the walk back is a
bit somber and one of you guys needs to carry Monty back.
I'm trying to do it myself. All right, I'm famously strong.
(01:19:40):
Famously. You walk along back toward the
Inn Doom. You sort of assist higher who
helps pull Monty along. We'll say Bridal style for now.
Because that's exiting the Temple of mystra, you guys don't
see anyone, you recognize and back out of the temple district
and toward your in. It's sort of an early evening.
(01:20:02):
Now, the sun is still up but slowly sinking and the smell of
sizzling meat waft over and replace that sort of
overpowering smell of incense that you were oppressed with
inside the temple. Reminding you that dinner is
closed. You guys walk back.
The Inn is bustling when you walk in a couple people I just
see Cobalt in one of your arm but turn away nonetheless.
(01:20:23):
And you guys get a few glances and waves from many of the
Proprietors of flaming boar smiling as you do.
So you guys are sort of in the good after the saving of The
Well of the entire masquerade ball.
Just a few nights ago who had upto your room to your end and
make your way back into the room.
Seeing one of the two beds normally having always occupied
(01:20:45):
by my mom, been a bit sickly Green from some of the liquids.
You might have been spewing out and is undying state for a few
days. Now though, you can bed Monty
down the clean Linens and have them sleep his first human
Knight of sleep in a long time. Can I actually be like the worst
ever in the try to throw Monty in the clean bed?
(01:21:07):
And then try to try to start like viciously, like clean the
other bed, you throw them in theclean bed?
Not asking anyone? I mean, you know, I'm not gonna
go on this shity bed. I'm not going in it.
Yeah. Just not.
The type is all to go in shity beds, you know?
(01:21:29):
Yeah, we know you're a princess,we get it, whatever, whatever.
Go ahead and scope up my corner. You find your corner tick is
here and sort of jumps up a little bit.
When Monty comes in scurrying over, she wraps an arm around
you higher it, put Monty and goes And sort of reaches over
(01:21:53):
and touches him and a few placesand gives you a beaky smile as
she realizes. That it worked.
She doesn't say anything. Definitely give her a hug and be
like, I he's not that this time,I promise tired, I think.
She smiled and hugged you back. She responds to I promise and
hugs, you very deeply and sort of reaches over and squeezes
(01:22:16):
Monty's, angle. Giving him a look, things are
gonna be different now for, for all of us different.
Now, I can't help, but feel, as if I've maybe neglected, the
rest of ethera kind of just prioritizing Monty, but that's
gonna be different. Now, we're for all of us, I'm
(01:22:36):
sure it will be a chap. You didn't actually job here.
In fact, bringing your brother back has been something.
I know. We've been looking forward to
the entire time. I've known you so consideration.
I'm excited to see the higher that's a bit more stress-free.
Yeah. Um, no guarantees though.
Well, of course my friends just be yourself is all and not back
to back to wash and then you guys are back in the end and the
(01:23:02):
evening still yours. As doomed correctly identified,
you still have a few hours before this date on the bridge
and There are quite a bit of things to do the evening as
yours would or wants to deep clean.
Hit the bathrobe out everything, hit the showers, well clothes,
you know, the drills get real nice for Dean basically very
(01:23:26):
single now. Crazy, that is crazy.
That is crazy. All right, you clean up a bit
with the rest of you guys like to do anything specific.
Um, I try to Pace a mirror to make like nice food for Monty
(01:23:50):
whenever he wakes up. Well, that is nice but you don't
have to pay me. I'll just do that.
And somewhere gives you a neutral smile.
I've actually been looking to bake photo a while now, there's
been no reason to but, you know,it's something that I like
doing. Oh my God.
Can decorate cake. Quarters.
Yeah, I didn't know you like decorating.
You know, my kids were young, I would make cakes with them.
(01:24:14):
My wife would do and we would decorate them and you have to
help and decorating this cake. No kitty, kitty kitty.
I'm really excited. Just like looks at.
You know I'm really sorry and then decorating a cake with me
(01:24:44):
especially if it's like it was something that you normally did
romantically. Made it works.
What is Samir? The fucking the prettiest
bastard on Earth. What?
Uh-huh. Anyway um let's do that and he
gives you a smile. Give me a.
(01:25:05):
I don't know I guess I want likea baking check.
I'm sure there's D&D rules for baking.
I bet Gerbes light of hands is crazy for baking rolls.
Okay, Cooks, you tinsels is a survival.
This ain't survival. This is crazy.
(01:25:26):
This is Artistic. And this is you can always with
advantage of course because you and Samir are doing.
Yeah. Go ahead and roll that.
Well, you're rolling that able to create some toward.
You do them and goes. All right.
So just old sport. I told myself, I only mentioned
one more time and then I'm done.I know, I've bought that you
much too much. I just thought might, you might
(01:25:48):
have some sort of interest in the music, the music of the
world. Of course, I've been noticing
you tinkering it with your own time and I don't know, I thought
we could take one more stab at that poor man, who got executed.
I would love to. What do you say?
You have the talent. I have the experience and demos.
I suppose has the original for the taking out of that post.
(01:26:08):
Chaps mind. I agree.
Let's get demos. How do them, what an accidental
and you see are able, sort of leans down and gives you a smile
and Pats you on the shoulder hard, and very masculine.
What an amazing creature you are.
God bless you. This is going to be excellent.
I'm so glad you're on board withthis.
I was beginning to think I was some sort of broken record.
(01:26:28):
The way I kept repeating all my interest in such a thing.
I thought I was the only music but a sad thing that would be a
period, the most you have a date.
Oh, I'll maybe raise it a different way, but sure.
I'll come over. I see you.
And I have a date. That would be lots of music.
Oh, and more personal things. Of course glances towards the
(01:26:51):
bathroom, then or her face currently.
Do you up give an instrument to practice with Abel?
Yes, I do. And he collapsed the hand right
onto a woman. Kyle show, how do you do that
(01:27:14):
thing? Sure thing.
Make some music. It sort of like, eight bit.
Yeah. Well, how do you imagine ulam
sort of sound bites? I imagine.
It's like an old like recording.Oh nice.
That's good. She isn't that wonderful?
And with that, the three of you guys sit down, able to pulls the
(01:27:36):
two of you and he goes. All right.
Here's my goal. As we understand it, that poor
child who passed some sort of, well song that he was humming to
the day he died. Well, the last moment before he
died and I think that song is Meaningful, in fact, if you
recall, do them was sort of humming it for him, and it
almost seemed to give him memories.
And I thought, maybe, just maybeif we do it right here, it might
(01:27:57):
give one of us his memories and that could be a good Soul at
least put that mystery behind us.
So, you know, just between the three of us.
I've been thinking a lot about that Paul Venice, fellow the one
we found dead in the street, it today.
And well, I don't know. Someone made the comparison
between him and Doctor him and caught me thinking killed with
magic, you say demos, could it be that Venus might have been
(01:28:17):
slaughtered by the very same band that had killed Dr. Him,
the very same one that attacked That masquerade ball.
You make a good point but I hateto think it.
I don't it made it sort of made sense.
Why doctor him was talking? But why?
So, I thought of everyone, he was just a common man.
I mean his only Association was that he knew us.
(01:28:43):
I mean, very publicly, I'm sure.I'm sure he told all his
friends, he traveled amazing. Adventuring people sort of
crosses his arms and like, triesto stretch out a little bit.
Oh yeah, probably sure. Well, regardless, maybe he was
more involved in some sort of larger plot.
I mean you all say you found him.
Practicing some sort of Witchcraft.
Is that right? Magic spells worshiping some
(01:29:05):
sort of deity. Yeah, it wasn't it wasn't the
healthiest. Look for him.
He became quite obsessed with this seventh one and his plans
involved. I think killing all of us
eventually at the right time. So that was a bit awkward.
(01:29:29):
Placing better when he returned to Water Deep so well, perhaps
his involvement in the seventh one, which by the way, I think
is total Hobs gobble a worshiping, some sort of deity
based around numbers. It's hogshaw.
Anyway, is involvement in the deity might have gotten them
involved in the wrong. Sort of people.
I mean, these knives might have been involved somehow in the
circled and he might have found himself in the wrong place at
(01:29:51):
the top, just a theory and it could simply be some sort of
accident. But the killing by Magic is not
something we can ignore. Well, that's why I've been so
keen on a investigating. This poor fellows memory.
His specifically, the song, he'sbeen homing to lead died.
I'm thinking perhaps, if we learn the name of the tune, who
wrote it, we might get a little closer to this band of knives
(01:30:13):
and figure out what exactly themmotives are what they're not.
They were behind this murder, good idea.
Well, I guess my only reservation is that I hate to
see. I hate to see you actually
perform some magic with it. I mean, the last time I saw this
song fully completed, the man sort of Well, it seemed as
(01:30:35):
though he was about to cross over to some other plane,
internally wasn't very good thatis certainly frightening, but
I'm not sure, I think three of us could handle it.
What do you think, chaps? He wraps his arm around, each of
you guys the band, won't we? The 30 of us?
And just require me to learn an instrument not at all.
(01:30:59):
My friend. In fact, if you like, we could
surely learn it together. Not sure if I know how to work
with these fingers. Many of them, me neither, great
band. I feel someone judging me.
Hateful thoughts in this shower.Hello here, doesn't matter.
(01:31:20):
You're not part of the Inner Circle.
Call yourself like this. Firing like fingers.
Oh, what? They're in fingers?
That's a great name. New name.
(01:31:45):
I like for keeping that one boys.
All right, so with this proposition that Abel is given
you guys. The three of you for to sit down
and think about this song. If you recall, dual mutant
worked out sort of the first couple refrains or so of this
(01:32:05):
ballad this dirge that the figure had been humming.
It's a single instrument oh justwork out.
When you imagine it as simply a single instrument song, you
imagine the more complicated songs that a larger band might
play in ultimates, would be way more difficult to figure out,
but with just this and perhaps with the most is memory, you
(01:32:27):
might be able to piece it together.
So with that in mind, could I get from demos a history?
Check from Doom, can I get a performance check?
And both of you guys can have advantage on this role.
Having being, you know, receivedhelp from both each other and
able to better about noise. Could I just say to hire real
(01:32:50):
quick? So I feel like he's just
cleaning. Could we get a quick bless over
here? Like no, dude.
Only if I get credit as a Lyricist, haha podcast, Plus on
you good. Nice had a good D4, please nice.
(01:33:15):
Okay, so from demos. That's a 28.
Oh my God, that's crazy. I got a 23 performance as also
great. Oh my God, you guys are on it.
Okay, so um just to gauge. How long would you guys all like
to remain here? Just until that 9, oclock thing
(01:33:36):
that or face has been waiting on.
That's all I'm sticking around. I'll take her.
Leave these suckers the man. Yeah, I don't know.
Doodle. Do you think it's should?
We should we tag along, or did you just more important?
I enjoy investigating nice. We'll find this Deen man.
All right, then to explain how it goes.
(01:33:57):
The three of you sit down and discuss this Abel gives his sort
of musical sort of experience really with this including words
and phrases common tropes and themes.
Seeing a lot of things as insight into how it might
continue the most with your veryexcellent memory recall, how the
song Went you recall, it's a 20 minutes long or so all done in a
(01:34:20):
single long sitting by a piccoloplayer and it takes you a while
to sort of remember each part ofit being very much like a
classical pieces. It's not very repetitive.
And instead sort of has themes but it doesn't really repeat the
same notes that off and so you have to remember each piece.
But with doom as the instrument, the instrument, slowly able This
(01:34:44):
together and do them with your fine performance.
You're able to demos as memory and the three very well as a
team. In fact, it's like actually
quite uncanny, you you feel a bit closer to the two others in
your and feel like, you know, you actually might be able to
make music one day. If you have that being said,
sitting down for about two hours, much faster than the
average time, it might take to sort of reverse engineer a song
(01:35:06):
like this. You're able to completely work
out how the piece would sound. You talk to each other and work
it out and with the most as well?
Well, remembered memory, you think you've got it down.
All you have to do is actually sit down and play the piece but
it's about this time that or if a speaks up having exited the
bath now when gotten ready that? It's about time to go to the
bridge. So you've got everything worked
(01:35:27):
out, you just need to face. What almost there.
Do we really have to go look at how well, the band's moving Face
have some sense coming. Now, if you're going to run into
some sort of knave, West Virginia, still cooking, Um, you
(01:35:55):
guys are making a cake, right? So what was your your survival
check in the end. I think it's you, oh, but you're
busy with Monty shit, you know. I should go.
I think I do think Dean might beintimidated by a large group of
people telling him. His lover is dead and there's
(01:36:16):
not a lot he can do about it. I agree with that.
I think it's good to go as a small sensitive contingency, and
I have kind eyes and your very diplomatic.
I'm very sensitive. Yeah, yeah.
So um, jaw, what was your role? So, I think this checks out with
the fact that he, you know, madethese cakes with kids. his role
(01:36:39):
was a sick sick so it would takeyou and It would take you and
and Samir a lot longer than to completely baked this cake.
So imagine by the time or a face, that you're ready to
leave, you look over, see like Jaya completely covered in flour
and Samir, we skim really hard at something.
(01:37:01):
Oh, geez. Okay, yeah, I heard you and Me
Against the World. Come on, buddy.
We look after Matt, we look after monthly in fact malice you
look after Monty you're not doing anything fine, but I'm
busy. I'm sleeping.
Not. Exactly.
Or nothing. You do that stupid.
Anyway, you're stupid. Anyway, I'll do it.
(01:37:24):
I'll babysit again. I guess this is what I'm
luckily, I'm never gonna learn that.
It's you guys don't push this onme anymore.
Bastard. I don't plan on him waiting.
Well, I'm gone. There he does know, so so what
will be right back sort of thing?
Yeah. All right.
(01:37:45):
I have a nice time. And higher and Orpheus you guys
leave. Leave leaving the band a sort of
pumps his fist and goes right back to it.
Then gents that's left demos anddo on the back.
Well, I should giant this thing Samir gives you like a pleading.
Look as you leave I push my glasses my goggles up just so I
(01:38:11):
can get the full power of my very small group.
But my other face, we will be working on this.
I'm sure he'll still be working on it.
Trying to get back. Yes, I'm sure you'd help.
Door slam. Haha, what a face is so funny.
(01:38:35):
Anyway, J. I'm actually That's what I'm
sure you did that for your kids a lot and I bet they loved it.
No matter what? like, The kid.
(01:38:55):
It's funny. They had like three cups.
I mean, J is the kid that's sortof makes sense, doesn't it?
I think he's doing it with his grandchildren now.
Oh, that's nice. That's real nice.
(01:39:17):
He's gonna miss Timmy's birthday.
Oh damn it. Yeah, how to include Timmy?
Now, we'll start with a higher and Orpheus on your walk.
You guys leave the in leaving behind the rest of your crew and
they're separate actions and walk out of the Flaming boar
(01:39:38):
into the evening time. It's now late, roughly 845.
You would guess and a Brisk Breeze blowing through the town.
So it's cursed me, but if Vinny and this Dean spoke for many
hours, as Dean said in their letter, you know, we've been
(01:40:00):
assuming Dean as a man, we don'tknow that first searching and
coach. I spoke of me.
He's on. Terms, but you might be best not
to mention in your name to Dean.I've also been thinking about
(01:40:22):
that and Vinny kind of was openly mad at us.
And even when we started to do better, this guy's certainly
been complained too by Vinny about us and now we're showing
up to him for the first time telling him, Vinny's dead.
Yeah. So this is this is gonna look
really bad. Like The video.
(01:40:45):
I actually like we really ended on a good note, okay.
But this guy cares about Vinny. Yeah.
And we're telling him, hey, there are no suspects in his
murder. Um, he said though, I feel like
he's probably gonna accuse us ofthe murder.
(01:41:08):
I couldn't say your name becauseyou did get enough any but I'm a
friend of any so I feel like if I come to and I say, hey dude,
I'm so sorry, but he was murdered, you know, I'm on the
case. I'm searching for who didn't, I
think it's this? Well, I shouldn't tell you
because if, you know you might get killed, I don't know.
I don't think. He'd think I killed Vinny.
(01:41:28):
I'm sorry. This feels like really bad, like
we're doing a really awful thing, but I'm trying to
remember, that's kind of the point.
I feel like at this point, but it's gonna feel bad.
Is it the right thing for us? Sir?
I think it's because because we don't want Dean to get involved
with all the bad stuff we're involved with.
(01:41:50):
Oh yeah, I'm just Gonna know that Vinny die, you know what
else? Other Rice is going to think we
need to just never came and that's a different sort of sad
but people need the truth, you know?
Okay. Yeah, that's a good plan.
I think we're gonna do it. Yeah, yeah.
We are Justified we are mortal and we are right.
(01:42:12):
So we're right I've never felt more wrong, but okay.
Not even when we were taking Vinny never mind.
She had a little cold, I sort ofpull your shoulders up a little
like a squished, her shoulders together and pull you up, right?
Organic gets through this and it's not going to be easy, but
(01:42:35):
nights, don't only do easy things and probably neither do
clerics, I'm guessing. So, let's go to the table.
Still have, it doesn't Stables. Have what Vinny stuff?
I, I, oh God. Don't know.
Dave was just kind of evil, I know, but you would think so.
(01:42:58):
We already said something about the evilness.
So it's like, you want to believe that.
I guess it's not evil because then, I don't know.
I don't know who we can trust anymore.
Yeah. Sometimes like I start to think,
like, I'm evil because like actions.
I do like negatively like kill Vinny and then it's like, can
you even like trust yourself that?
(01:43:19):
Yeah, sometimes I think you're evil too.
It's really not what I needed tohear, right?
I'm just honest all the time. You know me.
Look just Back up. Okay okay I just want to say
that I I think I think I acted abit single-mindedly for Monty
(01:43:46):
and I think I kind of made maybeour weaknesses or at least my
weaknesses known and I don't know.
I I'm starting to think there's a chance that you know Vinny was
actually killed on purpose by someone made it be you know the
evil people that we got like partially arrested in this town
(01:44:09):
like the original choir or just any any one of our enemies.
Um there could be a lot I guess so I guess I kind of want to be
me quieter about maybe my weaknesses, my like emotional,
like the vulnerabilities and maybe all so you know maybe all
(01:44:30):
not suggest we do like evil things to the group anymore.
More like, you know, like doing like a, like, a sort of like
ritual that like exchanges life for another.
I probably, I'm gonna think I won't suggest that for any more.
You know, I noticed you were like, especially uncomfortable
with it. Yeah.
Well you know I'm I'm really sorry.
(01:44:51):
It sucked but we got through it and we're gonna get through
this, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's hard. Sorry.
Uh, one yeah, yeah. Just pick someone who you always
will, you know, someone who willalways make the rights decision
(01:45:12):
and just wait for them to chooseand then do their choice C.
And I thought that was damos because demos has been, like,
honestly, not like nice to me, like it's scared and then it was
like, Oh, I thought it was Doom because like Dooms like really
smart and was like really consistent.
But then like recently I like disagreed with doula Yeah, I do
(01:45:34):
love them just a little bit, it doesn't.
Samir picks in the air. Samir's the right choice.
I think as far as I was my friend.
No definitely not. Malicious God.
Oh, I like Samir, I like Jaya. Well, I don't know.
Earlier child was really down tojust kill someone random to use
(01:45:54):
in the ritual and that's wasn't great.
If you think about it, that would have been better than
Vinny but Vinnie was already dead.
So actually it would have been worse because it would have been
killing somebody would be dead either way.
You know, we showed up or not, Dyer is going to kill a whole
new person. Another family whole nother Dean
That's true. I guess I really just can't
(01:46:16):
shake. I feel like we killed Vinny but
I I really don't think we killedhim but I know it all.
In your brain. Well, I it's, I don't know the
week after week or the day after.
We kills Mavericks their Associated through the same.
God, we have so many enemies. Why was why was it?
(01:46:38):
I was because of our associationwith him but it's not like we
chose to travel with finny and all we just did our best to take
care of him where he was, which was with us.
But I don't know why don't. You can't take everything onto
your shoulders, they're small and blue part.
Really, that's like a part in that but I don't know.
(01:47:01):
I feel like once we all got her most of us got sucked in that
portal kind of became our business.
And I do think Vinny kept on saying we should protect us like
we should protect him and I don't know can it made him kind
of annoying? But yeah, I feel like Job to
(01:47:29):
protect him. We have all been vulnerable.
The second we went through that portal and we just we at least
became powerful. I feel like Finney never really
had a chance to Yeah, you know, you can't protect everyone with
the bridge in front of you. You guys get to look around, you
seem to be in a residential, a lot of the house, getting dark
as the evening wears on most people seem to be in other parts
(01:47:51):
of town if they're right now, the more Bar and Tavern line
parts of town. So here you find a very quiet
but still, well lit. So walk away.
And then Bridge, you don't see alot of people along the the
walk. There seems to be a small
huddled strangers. All wearing black coats, look to
be playing dice by the edge of the bridge on your side and they
(01:48:15):
don't really pay you guys any mind as you approach.
And besides them, there's one lone individual standing, sort
of hesitantly, looking over the edge of Ridge about dead center.
This is so sad. Okay, I sort of Nod to hire.
I got this. We got this.
Okay, I'm going to put up my goggles so I look like a human
(01:48:35):
person while I'm talking to them.
All right, but just keep an eye out for attackers.
Okay. So, okay, so I'm gonna stand
here. You're gonna go talk to him.
No, I mean, you should walk up with me but okay.
Okay, yeah, yeah. I just want to be able to see
it's something I push my gogglesup, actually.
You know what? I want to go class you with it.
(01:48:56):
I pull my goggles down around myneck fluff.
Up my hair, nice? You know, sympathy, you can't
see without them. Oh no, my eyesight really told
you guys this. I feel like every time someone's
like what I have prescription goggles higher, I don't see
good. I sort of squint at you.
That feels like like, is that like a human thing?
(01:49:18):
I don't know, maybe ask Mal, I guess I'm sorry about your
disease. Why the audience member at home?
My eyes are really bad. Um, that's so good.
I think actually Garner are the two blindest people on those
podcast. Yeah.
Anyways, one two, three team, he's golfing right now.
(01:49:47):
Okay, I straightened my shirt up, you know, get all nice.
I sort of for a second higher, Ilook at you and you can tell I'm
trying to make like sympathetic eyes and I walked towards the
Person. Okay, you see me like try to
like Fame like happiness and like you see me go like okay
(01:50:09):
your brother came back to life today.
You can be goodness. I see a blue smoke, that's the
street. Okay, great.
You see nothing. Oh, towards the figure.
All right, to the two of you approach on your approach, you
sort of get a chance to look around and again you only
(01:50:31):
playing dice and would looks like the edge of a group of
crowns in the office direction of the path way.
Past the bridge, they sort of turned a corner and Lee you guys
are left alone. Now, as you put this bigger on
the edge, the figure sort of looks off in the distance and
then slowly sort of turns their head to see who's approaching
its Dean Wright. Onto my TV a young man who looks
(01:51:00):
probably about Vinny's age humanman.
Very unassuming face with the angular features and it looks
like eyes that are very very pale blue.
Oh How much does he look like me?
Was I finished type one out of 10.
What whoa, whoa. That is crazy.
(01:51:21):
Whoa um this this figure has a more.
Let's just say masculine presence.
Oh whatever dude. Oh, thank you.
Much much wider shoulders than have stronger.
Like God beefier hands. Still a smaller hand though.
You can tell he hasn't fully grown into it but yet it's very
(01:51:44):
kind soft eyes. And very thin sort of wiry hair
that was cropped. This is not.
Me the name's Dean but who are you?
Yeah, I'm An Orpheus a first night.
(01:52:05):
This is my friend. I Pat.
Inconspicuously don't say his name.
Oh, we are friends of pennies. Oh, I see.
Any sort of looks down to spawned.
And looks off out over the bridge, he sent you here to turn
me down, didn't he? That's too bad.
I thought he'd have the balls todo with himself.
(01:52:27):
Sorry. I actually have way worse news
than that. I put a hand on his shoulder and
try to give him kind eyes. Sort of a squid, sort of a lower
eye squint eyebrows together a little Haha, he was on his way
to see you. He was in an accident.
Earlier today. Uh, unfortunately, he didn't
(01:52:49):
make it. The figure sort of looks that
you could fuse. And then understanding the
crosses his face and he goes an accident.
What do you mean? What happened?
Where is he? What did you do to him, know,
Someone did. We're trying to figure out what
exactly happened, but what you're telling me he was
(01:53:09):
murdered another man did this. What what he was?
Just a shopkeeper, the song of the shopkeeper who could have
done this and he looks at you, confused and scared and you see
anger Rising as he grabs your arms.
Now, just the same, you did his and he goes shakes, you just
tell me what's going on. We Snow.
He was killed. We found his body.
It was actually by accident, we hadn't seen him in, I don't
(01:53:32):
know, maybe a week, we sort of farted ways, but we were working
with this mortician, if he was going to pick up a body and it
was anybody and we recognized him and real freaks out.
And then ah, then I came to tellyou that this happened because
we don't show any parents or anyone but from the notice it
sounds like you probably at least know because I saw me was
working with his parents when hemet you.
So he didn't told his patterns yet this horrible he will say
(01:53:58):
this is This is just happened. The police didn't even know his
identity, but they will and we're going to see what is wrong
with you, you told me first, whyis this responsibility for me?
Know, we're gonna tell them and I promise you that we will also
find out who did this, but the man Dane looks back and forth
(01:54:22):
between the two of you and looksfor sort of answers and just as
he does Orpheus and higher, you guys feel sort of a rough fabric
push up against the back of you and sort of a rough laugh as you
see, two figures sort of bump into the two of you guys and
brush past, you stumbling down the bridge.
(01:54:43):
It looks like two of maybe the dice players from across the
bridge. Behind you, they bumped into,
you sort of silently didn't comein and they stumble off
drunkenly. Yeah, every my wallet AKA my
bag, but I guess my whole person19.
Such untrustworthy fellows, the fucking mockery up and down my
(01:55:07):
body seeing if anything's missing.
Yes you guys do both get a chance to check your persons and
both do immediately find that both of your coin purses have
been cut to clean off and are missing Society but that's I
just robbed us. Print after him.
The two figures sort of stumble away and one of them sort of
looks back carefully and sees you start running and smacks his
(01:55:29):
friend and you hear like a high pitched and the two of them
start sprinting off the bridge as fast as they can.
Guardian of faith in front of them.
Oh my God. Actually all cast.
(01:55:52):
And her, okay, you cast on you and higher higher.
You hold out your hand and you see a guardian appear 30 feet in
front of you about 10 feet in front of the group of the two,
looks like shorter humans or perhaps, maybe even halfling's
the two, okay? Hooded figures, go running down
the bridge and the guardian appears in front of what he
wants to look like okay great. It looks like he my goddess
(01:56:15):
ether. All right a beautiful Visage of
ether appears in front of these two nefarious gowns and she sort
of looked down upon the two of them and you hear one of the go
Fuck in sort of a high pitched squeegee squeal or Screech
really excited. Go ahead.
(01:56:36):
If they move within this, she's five feet in front of them.
I just want to say so they move,um, they will take damage.
I just want, okay, the two of them go screaming past to the
figure of at these high-pitched whales Eh and try pushing past
her. So I imagine both of them are
gonna definitely Brock this. Okay.
(01:56:57):
Um, they're gonna make a dexterity saving throw one, got
an 18, the other got an 11. Okay.
Um, the 11 is going to fail Mason.
How how like are these guys likesomewhat strong?
Like are they gonna die to 20 damage?
(01:57:18):
I mean you want to see again, tell me an Insight, check a 20
or dirty dirty, 20, Dirty 20. Okay, that's a good roll.
You haven't seen their faces yetor really much about these two
figures at all, you know, is that they were playing dirty
street dice and they have like, dirty heavy heavy.
Cloaks on top of them, they lookpretty short and sort of
scraggly. So you imagine these men and you
(01:57:41):
think they are men from voice, they have but sort of like I
don't know at least they're running and screaming sounds
very high pitched and yelly so they it sound like they're not
that like deep and Gruff and scary you're not sure they could
tank a full 20 damage. You think that would probably be
enough to kill them. We're gonna murder rise.
These two guys right. Okay, so I'm gonna do
(01:58:02):
non-lethal. So one guy, the guy filled the
saving through is gonna take half damage for non-lethal, I
guess. So 10 damage and then 10 radiant
damage and the other guy is gonna take half of half so five
damage or face. Oh, you go running after these
(01:58:25):
two higher, you create a spectral image of Aether and
front of the two of them. They tried to go running around
at high-pitched yelling follows and you hear one of them sort of
Screech out in their voice, kindof cracks a bit.
It's like, oh, Back as I get hitwith five damage, sort of
spinning off to the side, the other Thief who takes the full
(01:58:45):
10 damage, gets hit hard and yousee the resounding Smite from
your goddess. Since the figure reeling toward
the edge of the bridge smacking hard against the stone and then
crumpling into the ground in a pile.
Not only couldn't kill this. You did say non-lethal.
I I respect that the figure did fall though.
(01:59:07):
He's probably unconscious. The other man, great, the other
Thief Cries Out Eddie, Eddie, you good Eddie.
It goes running toward his friend, I'm running after him.
All right. You catch up within seconds,
meeting the two of them. As the first one who looks to be
bleeding out. Quite a bit runs toward his
friend and unconscious body slumped up against the edge,
(01:59:30):
okay? He's still running towards his
friend. Oh never mind.
I can't. Um, I mean they were literally
like, you know, a couple Paces apart when okay one down.
So the other guys like pretty much just now approaching on top
of his friend, like trying to figure out what just happened.
Yeah I just want to run tackle, the guy who's still up are you
(01:59:50):
run and go tackling him down thefigure sort of Yelps as you push
them down and feel this much smaller body than you.
Expect beneath the the giant cloak go down.
I want to try to pin him down and pull his cloak off his face.
You pin the man down and begin struggling.
You see the figure sort of lash out wildly with what looks like
(02:00:12):
a small dagger, very rusted, thefigure God a 12 to hit Mrs. If
you caught me, I'll cut your back.
All right, all right, all right and have and the figure drops
the blade and allows you to manhandle him a bit and you rip
off the the top of the cloak to reveal would looks like a very
(02:00:35):
young man. In fact, looks like a kid.
God dammit. I can I pick up the knife and
throw it off the bridge? Pick up the knife and fuck, you
hear a sploosh beneath in the kid looks up.
You scared us. Looks like a teenager you'd
guess 14 or 15. A Young Man.
Dirty is all hell. You can barely tell his facial
features around all the muck andmud and dust and looks like bits
(02:00:57):
of dried blood. That looked to be clung to his
face. This looks like a proper Street.
Oh yeah. Take my water skin and pour it
on a like actually just want to take my water skin and start
pouring it on his face and scrubbing.
Him clean. Hello this is just disgraceful
you shouldn't let us stop it. Just turn me into I don't you
(02:01:20):
can I cast The Healing word to bring on who him or something?
Can I do to both for that one? I think that is gonna be Mass
healing word unless you want to just two turns doing it, we're
not really in common. I'm used to spells for it.
(02:01:41):
Sorry, let me actually check which spells.
I get sure while you're checkingor if I asked the boy continues,
whimpering beneath you just turned me at, all right?
This way, I'm trying to go. Anyway, where are you?
You're trying to go. Where did the prison?
The water need prison. The termination, what are you
trying to go to the Terminus Institute?
Oh God, the same, my dad, man? We both are gestures to Eddie
(02:02:04):
but you fucking killed him, man.You killed any?
Okay here, wounds on the other guy.
Are you guys through wounds? And you hear a rough is the
figure slowly leaned up grippingtheir chest, having slammed into
the heart stone with it. He promised you, I didn't kill
(02:02:27):
him and if I did I'm really sorry.
Please don't do that and you okay, man sound out.
Yeah, good, I'm good. Listen, our dads.
They're, they're in prison. We're just trying to make money
to get him out, man. Your dad is not waiting to do
it. You could get yourself killed,
and I really don't want to be the one to do it.
(02:02:48):
It's the only way because of. Yeah, my dad and his dad.
They're both, they're both locked up.
Oh, two separate. Dads are not Brothers.
Oh, sort of get off of it and put it on a shoulder.
What's your name, Ladd. You're not gonna wrap me out.
No, I'm not gonna We would like our money back but that's true.
(02:03:10):
Cough up the coins. Know.
Well listen, my name is Ollie and that's Eddie What are those
names? Short for Oliver Oliver and
Edward? Yeah well I just think he's
Eddie actually I never go away together and you hear a loud
clink as he drops your quite heavy coin, purse on the ground.
(02:03:31):
I just listen, I saw his clicking around and looks so
good and I just trying to get mydad out, man.
Don't hurt me anymore. Please get to hurt you anymore,
but I want you to stick around. Okay, we can, obviously you saw
her heavy my coin. First one, You know, you know
what that tough, fuck you, dude.Okay, no sorry, sorry, you
(02:03:53):
better get your Bachelor, get tobe a better judgment of
toughness, but we're faster. Just.
Yeah. Okay, so I'm gonna get you guys
a hotel room for a few nights. I just need you to hang around.
I'll tell him this guy. I pointed Dean this guy.
His boyfriend died today. So it's sort of a hard
conversation, but I'm also not good to let you guys just run
off and keep doing stupid shit. We're going to figure out a
(02:04:15):
workable plan for you, but I just need like two ornaments at
this conversation, okay? Um, you turn around and just
straight Dean and you notice, there is no one standing there
anymore. Like these, okay?
It's all about you guys now Allie and Eddie, come with me.
Also, get to my feet, don't pullup, Your friend, we just thought
(02:04:35):
you'd be an easy target, all right.
We need to take our gold and run, I think after him.
Right? Why should we run after Dean?
He deserves to know more, doesn't he feel like we told him
everything he had to know? What else would you tell him?
(02:04:56):
I guess he felt mad at us but you're right.
Like, I guess it's my own feelings of uncomfort.
Yeah, it I think the nicest thing we can do for Dean right
now is give him some space. Now all of our admin stand at
the tension, you see Eddie slowly crawl up clutching his
chest and we using, looks like another full on street, urchin.
(02:05:19):
You'd also guess maybe 16 years old or 17, you can barely tell
the two apart. Maybe one is like a few inches
taller than the other, but otherwise, they're in the same
crap and they look the same amount of fuel these.
All of her looks a little less feeling now that you've managed
to brush some of it all, but thetwo stand side-by-side a bit at
attention, a bit bloodied, the higher, did a good job of
(02:05:40):
feeling them back up. Oh, I want to take a second to
correct their attention posture, you know, hands where they need
to be feet where they need to beshoulders where they need.
They look at each other confusedlike they're about to get
kidnapped or something. That's better.
All of her speaks up again. This is what he what.
All right, I just want to get hurt.
I always March, I'll start back towards the Flaming.
More. Please just if you're gonna
(02:06:02):
kidnap, it's just kill us, man. It's not kids, not paying or
killing you. Look where have you been
sleeping? In the alley behind Bangles.
I don't know what the fuck. That is Bengals store.
You never been. There is great.
No, never been there March March.
No more questions. The two of them slowly push out
in front of you. Handing back that you're a coin
(02:06:23):
purses and you see, you're in perception.
Check. Okay. 11 so bad.
Um, you do know this. That Eddie the first individual
seemed to have very carefully. Placed looks like a dagger in
his pocket. Sheath for that.
(02:06:45):
No, it just goes in the belt. She's a circle and give yourself
to miss. I was surprised, though.
You saw me put it away, You're Gonna Let Me Get.
I mean, one of you needs to haveone and all he already lost sort
of his rights to that. So, yeah.
But I could stab you with a man.Yeah, and the night stab you
back harder better and faster than you stopped me.
So where to be, look at each other's scared and confused
(02:07:10):
again just keep marching. All right?
Yeah, mature, whatever you say just don't hurt us again.
I know that two of them, push out in front of you slowly
Marching for and where you guys want to go, just back to the
back to the end. That's right.
All right. Back at the end and could I
please get the attention of Doomand Deimos?
(02:07:30):
All right. Sorry real quick.
I want to Rattle off to sending spells because I feel bad oh to
sending spells. Sure, sure.
Yeah. What do you have in mind?
So so, sorry, or if is locked inthe conditioning?
These guys, and I cast then being twice to Dean because I
(02:07:52):
feel guilty and I say I really I'm really sorry about what
happened to Vinny. I'm also sorry what happened
when we told you and then sorry second and spell the thief sir
heeled we just couldn't let themtake our money, we can talk.
We'll check in later. Got it.
Okay. You receive a simple response
(02:08:13):
which is sure. That's it.
All right. Now returning to the end, could
I, please get doom and demos on the horn.
So, the two of you guys are gonna Harden away at this song,
you've just got to figure it outwhen or face and higher skip out
the front door but nevertheless you've got to figure it out now
and able to sort of looking backand forth between the two of you
(02:08:34):
guys with this big Goofy excitedgrin.
All right, so what do you say? Should we put this in?
Plano what I'm excited? Oh sure.
Sure. I just you know, as long as
we're cautious about it I guess not too much of reason not to.
I agree, right? Then I suppose do them.
If you do the honors, the two ofus shall watch, of course, and
(02:08:56):
do them. You've got this song set out in
front of you. Now, now normally, I'd suppose,
I had asked for a performance check to play it, but because
you have a perfect memory. I actually don't think that
really applies here because you already know what exactly it is.
You need to do. So instead you just open your
mouth and begin to sing exporting, these sound bites
(02:09:17):
clips of an instrument being played, a high shrill woodwind.
All right. I guess it's not a woodwind,
it's just a fucking stick with metal on it.
I'm the less you play this tune. The funeral dirge.
It sounds familiar. To you.
Demos you recognize it almost instantly as the same one.
You saw in that dreamlike state. When you were in the memories of
(02:09:40):
Piccolo, the player Abel claps along as well and hums, and
almost threw off of two times. Do alum in his excitement, you
can tell you in his excitement, he seems to be getting about the
importance of the actual castingof what you think, might be a
spell of sorts. But you can continue this
playing and several minutes go by after about eight or nine
minutes or so, the most is stillsounds the same as you remember,
(02:10:02):
much, more clear. Now, of course, and the dream,
you remember, it being very sortof foggy and distant, which is
why you're 28 history. Check for this thing was awesome
because you really got to remember, to real, fucking good.
But anyway, it's much more clearnow, and it's much more somber.
It's a kind of piece that you don't recognize and as you go do
them, able even speaks up over you which again sort of bothers
(02:10:23):
you a bit. As he actually talks over your
music. I think he goes, I did say I've
never heard anything like this. This is no composer.
Ever heard of and not even sure if this is a well, and any sort
of composure at all, this might be an original wonder if that
player had some sort of personalinterest in writing as you
continue to do them during this time.
Jaya you hear this song as well as you and Samira cooking.
(02:10:45):
He remains pretty much silent asthe two of you guys are cooking
Samir talks. Everyone say stuff like butter
please. Or I think you might have gotten
the wrong measuring cup for that, but otherwise doesn't
really speak at all to you. So instead, you just really, are
have the silence. And the everyone's in a while,
sort of discordant notes of thisvery sad funeral their pig in
(02:11:05):
the back for the weird baking, right?
Samir, do you? Um, I mean, I suppose I have a
father who I feel quite connected to.
Um, I never knew in the other Phantom, in my life and I
suppose, my father had the son once I guess, I would call that
figure my brother, but that's sort of weird term considering
(02:11:29):
what? I don't know, he's sort of
trails off well. I mean have we had?
Made. Oh well I mean I don't know me
and the most spent a long time together.
Just the two of us that was special to me and he smiles at
you neutrally. Yeah, I'm considering it.
I'm consider you guys family. In fact, I baked quite a bit for
(02:11:51):
the most in the same way that you speak of baking for your
children. Of course, that's not how I
would describe our relationship.I just, I enjoyed making him
treats. That's all ha love, kills me
every time. Yeah, it's time to show
affection it and I did some of the decorating stuff with my
(02:12:12):
kids and they loved it and that was, that was great.
So I don't know. Maybe maybe you could do the
same day most but like, you know, instead of you just baking
a tree ask if maybe he wants to learn how to make it.
I mean, I mean they must have spent many nights baking
together. It's something I quite enjoy.
I suppose he's busy tonight. So I'm enjoying baking with
(02:12:35):
somebody new. You know, I get to see all the
interesting quirks that you have.
Aha. But um, tell me about the old
family Sergeant. I know you speak of your wife
and your children off and but I don't really heard much about
them. I mean what what do they like to
do? What do you like to do with him?
I mean, how old they are. They in school or adults or
(02:12:56):
what? No.
They're grown. They've both been quite quite a
handful. I mean I'm sure you encountered
your issues with but they were ahandful growing up the great
now. It's two kids, Milo the river
(02:13:17):
around like in there, one of them gave me beautiful girls.
Variegated two children. They're both.
Okay. I love.
I'm alive. If you can tell, they're both
gay. Did you say Our report
community. Well, um, this sound like a nice
(02:13:53):
family. I'm sure we can get you back to
them soon. I hope this entertains you in
the meantime, in fact, but this little lesson will make you a
better Baker when you return to them and make them treats of
your own. Yeah, I hope we can get back
soon. I don't, I don't like being
apart from them too long. The hell.
I don't know. They know where I am.
Can't contact them. It's pretty difficult.
(02:14:14):
But I mean, they're grown. Oh, that is nice Jaya.
He's smiles and returns to his work and sort of gets quiet.
During this time, the funeral dirge continues and you guys can
continue playing it, able excited and sort of bouncing up
and down, like, my goodness. So exciting, you're doing such a
great job to Lemon. You're trying your best to stay
focused over noise that people around.
(02:14:35):
You are making to almost distract you but luckily you're
strong enough to push through it.
The most you recognize it all the way through and as you guys
continue, um, you know, this this long 20 minute song
suddenly reaches a point at the end where Are doing me, feel it,
rising Rising and volume and length, and demos.
(02:14:55):
You remember, this from memory as well, and you remember in the
memory, this is sort of about where it got fuzzy and you
looked it as you keep playing. All right?
So um, you guys continue listening to do them play Doom.
You a home out this song as a piccolo through your sound
bites, and as the end of the 20 minutes, you feel a magic around
(02:15:16):
you, the song, swells and swells, and swells and Jaya,
even you and Samir sort of pauseand baking to listen to the end
of the song, as it, the discordance grows and the notes
overlap, a bit and dulum, you'reable to keep this up and through
simply, your excellent performance and memory of it.
And the most it all sounds right.
And finally, the song ends with a final note, a long drawn out.
(02:15:40):
It almost sounds like semitone that overlaps with something
else. It sounds discordant to ask sort
of ringed out throughout the room and why won't the whole
dirge? Found its way through 20 minutes
of long Melody, but you think you got it, right?
And then without a sound you seefive golden lines, rip across
the air in front of you, do themhorizontal and shimmering each
(02:16:05):
one forms and then snaps into place evenly spaced out one on
top of the other floating in mid-air, they gleam bright and
golden casting thin bands of light across the room.
And you see between each of themseems to open a small hole in
space. All five of these lines, push
against one another and stretch and you see a small opening a
(02:16:29):
portal. Holy shift, Samir takes off his
apron. Guys is that I do them.
You looking and you see that Golden Light wash over Tire
space inside. Seems to be a small pocket
Dimension. A small hole.
You can see every end of it. It looks no larger than looks
like five feet by five feet in total like a small storage
(02:16:51):
closet. The interior is sort of Darkness
at first but as you step toward it, the whole expands slightly
spooling outward and golden light and it reveals this
beautiful golden space. You see flecks of looks like
glitter floating around in here and there's almost a sound as
you approach. It's very dull and distant
(02:17:14):
almost Like a drum, beating way.The same sort of like,
intangible gold. And you see within here, there
are several hundred crispy, whatlooks like sort of almost burnt
up long, golden ribbons that look to have Arcane along the
(02:17:34):
side of them. They're drifting throughout the
are you see most of them are sort of crumbled to Ash?
Some of them have bits of Ash, poking out of them decayed and
very few of them in here. Still glow faintly drifting
around. Could the three of you guys,
able do them and the most give me an Arcana check these or you
(02:17:56):
could have one person roll with Advantage able to know.
Shit turns out, God roll. 19, I'm so sorry to hear this. 19
and 22. You said great roles.
Yeah, the two of you guys. Both recognize these drifting
ribbons. These are the spell in code
(02:18:16):
thoughts. It all Dawns on you and how this
all happened. How it all, worked and code
thoughts. As a simple spell, it can trip
of all things. You can pull a memory out of
your mind and transform it into a string, a thought strand,
these thoughts strands can floataround tiny and weightless like
a ribbon. You see hundreds in here, it
(02:18:37):
likely took a very long time to this mini out, but a simple
Kanter if you can cast as many times as you want.
And you don't on that broken fractured, man, Piccolo, the one
you saw in that prison cell had pulled out hundreds, and
hundreds of his own memory, shoved them in, to this small,
space depriving himself of humanity.
But also removing any sense thathe had of what really was worth
(02:19:02):
looking for the orchestra, the Symphony of Nest all likely
packed in here. All of his memories that Wizards
can never get the cast detect thoughts on 100 times and found
nothing because it was all in here.
Unfortunately, these encoded thoughts, you know, don't last
that long The longest one can usually 24, it seems of very
rare. Few have lasted a bit longer
(02:19:23):
than that. Most of them a crumbled to dust
though, the memories lost to time.
These are Piccolo's encoded thoughts, physical remnants of
his mind and you both know that grabbing any one of them could
have shown you the memory that he had, but it looks like only a
few remain. A few still linger though, what
is that in there? Do you guys need help quick?
(02:19:44):
Come and grab some thoughts. What does that mean?
I'm married. I can't.
Are you not allowed to think in your marriage?
(02:20:15):
Tentatively walks over and you see the staves opened in the
air. In front of you, open to this
pocket Dimension, that single note, the end of the song has
continued to ring out in the air.
It's constant and ever present and you hear it.
Slowly. Slowly think the likely stands
for the link that this portal remains open though.
I'd like to remain open quite a long time, considering me in
(02:20:37):
compressed in here, smear trots over and looks and goes.
Wow, what is? That's a lot of ribbons.
Are we making a present? I believe.
These are Piccolo's thoughts. Oh, oh the boy, we met who
passed. This is what he put them all.
This is why detect? Thoughts didn't work or zone of
Truth? He just didn't know anything.
That's horrible. What dedication?
(02:20:58):
Yes. But also I think that they will
disappear pretty soon. All right.
Um, he sort of gestures over to you the most and gives you a nod
in a small. You want it helped me.
I suppose we need to dig in here.
Yes. I I guess so, we'll just Dive
Right In the two of you. Sort of crawl into this Vibe by
five little brawl space, and it's weird.
(02:21:19):
You just stick your head in and that drum beat fuels, your
drowning out, any other sound. You push on the edges of this
interior space in sort of feels like cloth.
Almost or maybe like a sponge, it gives quite a bit and it
feels a little icky to touch this gold and shimmering and the
glitter in it. What you push in and push past,
all the faded memories, all the Ash and decayed, memories to the
(02:21:42):
few that remain. Give me a investigation, check,
please, demo and go ahead and roll with advantage.
As you do. So do them, you see Abel sort of
press up against you as you sortof look out at this portal and
feel a slight worry, a human fear in the back of your head
that it'll flows side. But Abel goes, what a
fascinating thing that is Doom. Have you look at this thing?
(02:22:03):
Oh, what the implications of this, have you even thought of
them? I mean a portal opened up from
me a music. I mean, you're not a bad, you
didn't cast a spell at all, did you?
But now it was the song itself that held the music.
How wonderful? I mean, any Street perform on
the side of the street could play that very soon and open up
a portal. You think it's the same one?
Wow. What a fantastic form of magic
(02:22:25):
wonder, who came up with that. I must have a word with it.
Is quite interesting, a portal through music, Doom.
Have you ever seen anything likeit?
I mean, this is even qualifies magical music itself magic.
Just the very act. How wonderful?
I wonder what other songs there are out there that can perform
this. I mean, this player, this
Piccolo was in a whole bag. I imagine all 30 of his
colleague's, my own full to the brim of other fine.
(02:22:46):
Teas. I mean if this pickle as he said
was lowest on the totem pole perhaps he's in that grand.
But what if someone else is a little bigger, what if they hold
interesting, what a fantastic idea, able sort of rocks you
back and forth and look trainingout in front of him.
You see his eyes are do love. My boy.
You are right? Yes, I guess I'm just scared
that the portal will close. Oh, that's quite a ride.
(02:23:07):
We'll just play it again. If it closes right.
Open it back. Well, it will take 20 minutes.
Yes, I suppose that's true. The most keep a foot out,
really? I might need to yank.
All right. Um, and with that, I had an 18
investigating through all these crumbling memories inside of
Piccolo's private small. I guess you know his little
(02:23:30):
pocket Dimension, you find thereare very very few left fully
intact. A couple of the half intact ones
you pick up and they literally crumble.
Do you think they were literallyjust held together because no
touched them but they're functionally useless to the
world and their current state. The only ones that are actually
useful are the one still fully golden intact and in total you
and smear for of them that you grab and pocket.
(02:23:52):
You can even wrap them around your hands and tie a little
knot. They are sort of and drag them
out. It doesn't take that long to
push through all the Ash and youknow, that once you touch a lot
of these included thoughts. They fizzle into Arcane Ash and
sort of disappear into the gold and glitter around.
You leaving it, much easier to find the ones that are actually
still intact and push around. For that.
(02:24:13):
You grab you succeed in and you guys sort of pull your way out
in some Miracles. Good job.
The most of us was great. Um, I suppose now we should look
at those. I'm sort of afraid to look at
them though. They are memory is right.
I don't know what to be scary tosee someone else's.
So I guess you saw this guy's man.
This is so exciting. Yeah, I'm sure it'll be fine.
I mean, should we all take one right now?
(02:24:33):
I mean, I'm afraid. These things will disintegrate
sooner and odds and looks at therest of you.
I think so. Um, there are four of them,
right? Right.
There are four people here. I mean, that's not so bad,
right? Yeah, you just keep baking.
Thanks Jaya. Yeah, yeah.
Does that mean giant is gonna decorate this alone?
(02:24:56):
It's gonna be a bismuth. Everyone else trips on mine
juice. Well, everyone remembers
someone, else's lover for the first time or something.
It's important memories. All about to lose your
virginity. Is your mind virginity out of
(02:25:17):
the back. All right, so um you guys all
want to encode one of these thoughts, these memories.
Yeah. You I had a boys.
So um the group of the four of you all grabbed these memories.
Um, you know, I will say just for a role-playing.
I'll have able to give you guys their memories just so you can
actually experience them. So I explained them to you.
(02:25:38):
So we'll just say duel them. You gain to and the most you
also gain too nice. We are the memory things, very
true. You notice.
They all have sort of a different vibe to each of these
ribbons of thought while all sort of about the same and Link
and size do have somewhat different colors, glowing out of
(02:26:00):
them and the rooms on them all seem to different like
signifying that they're different strands.
You imagine the person who caststhem would like to be able to
tell them apart from here. You really can't tell much until
you actually encode it Um, all these thoughts, you can
literally play play into your head, just by touching them.
So you guys, all grab them and pull them in.
(02:26:21):
I'll start, with doom, doom, yougrab onto two.
The first one. You grab onto is violet in
color. It plays when touched and a
memory appears before you like avision and your whole mind is
pulled into this mid. This Vision in front of you, all
of your senses outside or you are effectively paralyzed in the
real world. You in.
(02:26:42):
Go on this thought, train Doom, you're on a stage, a crowded
Concert Hall. In fact, your eyes are darting
around nervously and the corner of your vision.
You see the rest of your Orchestra, you look down, you
see your wearing suit to find tailored suit, black and white
with a black bow tie. A very fine clothes and you look
(02:27:03):
out into the crowd and you see afine looks like elegant Regal
Noble audience. You turn to your right, you see
a cell player next to you. In fact, you know, this person
as cello a woman with a long braided ponytail, and Thick,
overbite of teeth. She mumbles to herself and looks
(02:27:25):
over at you with dark eyes. She has pitch black eyes, almost
like a teething, like the mark of some long-forgotten ancestry
and she mumbles to you defecate, only on the downbeat.
Not before you look away. Sort of afraid you don't often.
See her face. You look back into the crowd,
you see nobility children and guards.
(02:27:47):
In fact, you see someone, you recognize, you don't only saw a
few moments of them, but do themwith your Perfect Memory.
You recall quite well that the masked Lord Atlas sarkov is here
in the audience Standing Tall and proud.
They look out toward the orchestra seem to just enjoy it.
And they have a hand reached outand press down on the shoulder
(02:28:11):
of a small young girl. A child, your hands.
Shake as you begin to raise yourinstrument to your mouth and
then you begin to play. The piccolo in the memory and
you return. At the same time.
At the same time, the most you get a vision.
Do you miss your vision is sort of light blue.
Don't mind my colors. I promise they're important.
(02:28:33):
I promise. Here you find yourself in a dark
room, you look around and you seem to be in a private setting.
Piccolo yourself out of your eyes is, in a small room lit by
a single candle. You seem to be writing a letter,
but, you know, you'll never sendit.
You're Whispering allowed is youwrite, and you look down and you
(02:28:55):
see the words coming out. You see a name at the top words
written out dearest culotte Grime?
I didn't know what it was at first just music.
Just sound and the dreams came, your hand is shaking.
Your quill is, sort of bouncing up and down at a giant blob of
ink drops on the parchment, wipeyour hand quickly, to try to
(02:29:17):
dash it out of the way, but it just stains the page.
You glance over your shoulder, someone's knocking at the door
behind, you grab the letter and bundle it up and hold it up to
the single candle in the room. Burning the letter before
answering the door and the memory ends.
The two of you. Look at each other, both doom
and Moe's. And you guys sort of make eye
(02:29:39):
contact after your stupor and memory town.
All right, what did you both? See how was it?
Mine was on stage. I know the face of another
player in the orchestra. Oh, mine was quite short.
He was just enough dark room allby himself.
Riding a letter to someone namedkulad Drive.
I think very interesting. That is very interesting.
(02:29:59):
And did you guys get anything else out of it?
Cool at Grime. That's a name with that.
We could maybe take that to the,to the police, to the guards,
and on stage, you saw the face of somebody, that's excellent.
These memories seem to be quite useful.
I agree. Also in mine, I saw atlas there
the masked Lord. We could ask them if they know
anything about these Orchestra players.
(02:30:21):
That's the villain for Valhalla,right?
They won out of this talks aboutfighting often, I yes, yeah,
that is not a bad idea. I know you guys want to see the
rest of the memories first. I think so.
Yeah. All right, the last two
remaining or held out one of them is would looks like a pale
(02:30:43):
green color almost like a sicklygreen.
And the last one is a pure gold but he doesn't want to do well.
I guess I could take the sickly one of you don't do them.
Sure. You take the sickly green, one,
the most, and absorb it into your body.
And another memory flashes of you, your, on a rooftop, you're
lying down. Staring up into the cloudless
(02:31:05):
night. You're in waterdeep, you can
tell you're by the pier, you watch the Stars overhead, you
feel emotions? Like you're their emotions of
relief. But a stress, in the back of
your mind, it's your first nightoff in a low.
You won't get another night off for many, many months to come.
It's stressing you out because you feel like you're wasting it
just here on the roof top, but you get to watch high of the
(02:31:26):
stars and it's slightly makes you feel better.
You hear a voice beside you, a young girl, maybe a sister, you
think ask will they really clap when it's over but you don't
respond. You just look off into the stars
above and you slowly lean up to see the docks, feel with ships
and one giant. And you're not sure if it's just
(02:31:48):
that big or maybe it's really, really close.
So, some sort of enormous vesselin the Middle of the water.
A spell jamming ship like for a cross the cosmos, it sits and
you recognize it you're meant toplay on it and the memory ends.
And at the same time, do you take on a golden fragment?
This one is a simple one, it's dark.
(02:32:09):
And you can't see anything you're practicing.
You're in one of the many practice rooms, in fact, you
know, where you are. So you're here with it and you
recall exactly where you are. It's, um, old here.
It's very cold in fact. And you know why it's so cold.
You're in a meat locker, an industrial one.
And one of the great butcher shops in the trades districts,
you imagine that the composer had lent it out in their free
(02:32:33):
time or rather the composer got in contact with a butcher lint
it out, in their free time and was able to acquire it for
Private Practice. Your practicing here with a
smaller group of only 10 of the players of dra, it's not really
a scene that you can see, but a sound, you listen to a song that
you're playing. And you know what it is, it's a
jazzy tune, almost like a swinging piece, something to
(02:32:56):
dance to and it's one of the mass enchantments that the
orchestra plays, in fact, you build up to it and you and your
players all reach the point where you played the exact note,
that triggers, one of the mass enchantments, this one
specifically as a mass dominate. He recognized the song and you
make a point to remember it. And then the memory ends, you
(02:33:19):
guys both come back and all of the ribbons of thought in front
of you, sort of melt away and just two, if you look at each
other once again and able with it, I die expressionist right
then. How is that same thing?
More interesting, mine was a bitmore interesting this time I
think there was this young girl Who I didn't really see.
But Piccolo speaking to and she she asked if they were really,
(02:33:44):
if they were really gonna clap after it was all over and he was
at the at the pier staring staring up at the ginormous
spell Gemma ship and and he was supposed to play on there so
that's like um, space travel right?
You should tell Jaya about that and know I was interested.
Oh, but that was basically then my memory That's still pretty
(02:34:09):
good. I don't know.
What did you see? Well, I didn't see much.
It was pretty dark, but I did hear and memorize some sort of
dominate person song. Oh, that's scary.
Is that like this bill that theyused to like all those candles?
I think so. Right.
So it's good, you know that if we have a come across them again
you'll have it locked down from your pets you and goes good job.
(02:34:29):
This is very interesting. This figure at locked away on
his memories. Can't imagine how painful that
must have been to carry yourselfapart.
I mean, you practically lose your man.
Mr. Looks off, sort of strangelyand turns back.
I don't know if I'd have the strength to do that for a cause
that's horrible. I agree.
It would be very strange. Not to have your memories,
(02:34:50):
right? Um anyway I'm glad that you guys
were able to do this. That's was certainly not easy.
Thank you for looking into it and you see in front of you.
Now the golden arches, the five claves in front of you, do them
all slowly collapse in on themselves.
Closing the portal. The five lines fold in and then
(02:35:13):
you hear that long stained note fade off into the distance and
sort of tonight's picks it up a little bit longer afterwards
until it disappears. And then you're left alone.
This is very interesting. Um, when higher and orifice get
back, we should all compare notes on this and maybe make a
game plan because this was very good work.
You did very well. He looks at doom and the most
(02:35:35):
and gives you guys a new smile. This was awesome.
I am so excited and he turns back and goes.
All right, I am coming to help like that took so long.
We were doing some cool things. Lots of exciting stuff happened.
I was baking. Oh, you put a lot of flour in
Able sort of crosses his arms and I mean, I suppose I didn't
need any, uh, congratulations from him anyway, like I did not
(02:35:58):
work, it's all well Golem, not agreat job solving that I suppose
use. Well demos, I suppose that does
answer a bit more of the riddle of the creature that Piccolo
fella. Finally, we had solved this
sooner. We might have had more of those
memory band but now we know for next time.
How they hide a whale get caughta pretty horrible.
Fail safe though. What a way to go?
Yeah, it makes me wonder if he did this of his own volition or
(02:36:22):
if he was compelled to able not his head.
Very interesting. Yes.
And with that I'll jump back outside higher and or Aus.
You guys have pinned these two young men in front of you and of
marched them back to the Inn. Is that right?
Yep. Did you just apprehend these
(02:36:45):
kids? So we have to talk to Dean know
I Conversations have a lot of pressing issues that I think I
can help them with and it's me out to think they were probably
going to die within the night. Okay.
You know feel like Dean also hadpressing issues.
That was a little bit like feeling things and Edward and
(02:37:10):
Oliver here are probably going to get shot so you thought this
was more like actionable for you?
The type of thing I know how to help with.
I guess I maybe I thought I could help with the emotions
thing but like what do I know? No, I'm sorry.
Dean ran off. I mean I will say when people
run away I don't think you can chase them down and then help
(02:37:32):
with their emotions. Like I don't think he wanted to
be chased. I don't, I thought he was maybe
scared when we attacked people like in front of him.
He respond to your sending. Yeah.
But yeah, he seemed consensual about the sending.
Like you like he's like he was like, he didn't want to talk.
(02:37:54):
Okay, so you know, you can always send me like, hey, don't
get lunch tomorrow, buddy. I'm just like worrying about you
and I watched, I don't know. Yeah, that was kind of the hope.
Well, did you offer? Yeah, I said like, like we'll
check in later if you want. Yeah.
He said, like, sure sort of thing.
(02:38:14):
Off to a good start. So you know, nothing lost true.
True. I just You think we can help?
The kids. I know, I can help.
Go to what extent? I can start by getting them a
hotel room in the bath. Okay.
Sure. This outside of my expertise,
but I think you got this. Some boys into shape before you
(02:38:39):
beat some boys. Yeah, yeah.
No, I yeah, exactly. You got this, you're happy.
I know how to wipe a new recruitand shape.
Oh, nice. Pick up the pace.
Well, left, he's not going to kill you.
Jesus Christ and alphabet would like to emphasize that come off
of it. We didn't do anything wrong.
(02:39:04):
Okay, I mean, I know we tried the blobber and you definitely
did something wrong but I'm not punishing you.
I'm helping you. So can you just get together
boys? Oh people run away.
You shouldn't chase them and it's it's seems like they're
like trying to like run away. I said she shouldn't chase them.
If you want to help them emotionally, Okay okay.
(02:39:25):
Yeah yeah. Um.
Are we at the flavor yet? Yes.
You're at the Flaming board. You push the boys in.
They do not get a lot of like, happy looks from the crowd here.
I mean, people are mostly confused to see you guys
practically marching and prisoners.
In fact, you notice the hostess ladies sort of draws near and
goes, excuse me, may I help? You is something wrong there.
(02:39:49):
And just twin is a room with twotwin beds, um, just to go, peace
or not. Over 10 gold pieces for now.
I watched the room closest to ours, that's two twin beds for
10 nights. All right, I can do that.
(02:40:11):
She takes the gold and nods, right?
Keep please, she can't do. Okay, and goes and you put her
right? And the boys are turned to each
other and one mouth. And then Yes.
Ma'am. Thank you.
(02:40:34):
Explain. It, we are doing fine earlier.
Why do you think you're being kidnapped now?
You will you let us leave them. Of course, I'm just gonna get
you set up in the room and then you're on your own.
I mean, you know, I'll come check in with you if you last
week because I know some people who can help you, but you know,
whatever. All right, my friend is being
(02:40:56):
standoffish about it. I looked down at my feet and I'm
like, I'm standing pretty close to them.
I don't know you over me. I take that step looks Um, the
the host to sort of nods and keeps a close eye on you guys.
(02:41:18):
But, you know, this is everyone sort of walks off carefully
perfect. Um, do their clothes look Beyond
saving or like laundry. Could make them better laundry
would certainly make them better.
They are filthy, okay, but like is it better just fine you close
or do I think these clothes Could be cleaned and then
serviceable. Could be cleaned in serviceable.
(02:41:39):
I mean, they're not like Rags. They're just heavy heavy, cloaks
that have been pretty. Okay, I'll walk into their room
hand on the keys. All right.
Clean yourself up. Get a good night's sleep.
I look around. Is there anyone else like around
us who could hear? No, you don't see anyone look
boys after you're all cleaned up, I'll come by.
And I want to hear about what your dad's did to get in the
(02:42:01):
Terminus Institute. I think I could maybe help you
out. If maybe they, your dad's were
in justly imprisoned or something.
I have a friend who broke out recently Yes, I mean it.
So I'll be back. Okay, thank you.
So, thank you. I'll pull out my six, silver,
(02:42:23):
and give each of them three. Don't spend this on stupid shit
but you know maybe a dog or that's not rusted or a sheath to
put that dagger in so you don't fall and you know life's your
own kidney here actually. I'll give them each three gold
as well. They take it and Smile widely in
(02:42:43):
one. That's even elbows.
The other one elbows and back. What is that?
What is that all about? Just, we didn't think we get any
money out of this. I mean, who actually painted
with them not paying you and helping you whatever.
Go clean up. You smell bad.
I want to walk away. You walk back to your room and
just as you open it, you catch the end of all the encode Emery
(02:43:04):
and you see the very blip of thefive, staves closing in on the
portal closing, you turn over. And you see, Jaya looking
wide-eyed, samir's making his way back to the kitchen and the
most and do them staring at each.
Other, still didn't finish the cake.
Oh, all right. So, what the fuck was that thing
(02:43:28):
in the middle of the air that I just saw all clothes and up a
portal to Piccolo's memories? Yeah, it was fucking weird.
Oh my God. Was that a weird lemon secret
chest? Who is lemon?
(02:43:51):
It's like a spell thing I guess.Yeah, it's the sky.
He has spells. Wait to see a guy or a spell.
He's the guy who looks really famous author, like a wizard.
My understanding, yeah. Oh, you know, a lot of our
(02:44:13):
lemon, huh? Yeah, part of it tiny Hut.
I'm sure that was a normal size Matters, like a tiny.
These guys have been ranting andraving about a week and
memories. They've been having while I'm
trying to sleep in here, you know this room isn't very big
fuck. Oh wow, you guys said memory, is
(02:44:34):
you were a productive, very the band's first session went off.
Great, what band, what band are you in a band?
Know, we actually we are called the band.
Now, able grabs on to doom and the most important pulls him in
clothes for almost like a headshot and he smiled, you
wouldn't think it. But with the best band, this
towns ever seen on three boys I've seen.
(02:44:58):
Doula mentioned something about the ignorant fingers, actually,
pretty good band name, I won't lie.
It's kind of It's an excellent band name or office, don't you
doubt it for a second? All right, well whatever, good
for you guys, I sort of stopped.I love you, proud of you think
(02:45:22):
Surah. But you'd like to join the band
and now do them. Hold on.
Just a second. I can't extend invite and then
he'll down and I do love. I, I am not musically, inclined
whatsoever but I appreciate the invite and I'll be your loudest
(02:45:42):
cheer at every show. All right.
Thank you, Laura. I guess a lot of us all.
So, aren't that great at music? Well, I at least not our
fingers. oh, like to like cast big spells, like the other party
(02:46:04):
or you like doing it for, like fun, would you say Soul
searching actually. I'm glad Doom did cast a big
spell just now. I suppose we did cast all the
lemon spell. What did the 11th spell do?
(02:46:27):
He said it was members. Yes, it was a space with all
Piccolo's memories. Well, the ones that he took out
So that's how he did it. Did you find anything useful, in
The Memories We found some greatones.
Do you want to Recount the memories for Oro in.
Oh yeah. Including the colors.
(02:46:49):
Very important. So I've been told wait.
So if you memorize this smell Ifyou memorize the mass spell,
theoretically couldn't. We also do the spell with you,
as like a sort of conductor, if we had enough like people and
talent I suppose that's true. Run those colors by me one more
(02:47:10):
time. It was magenta.
Well, violet. Talent can be gained Talent.
Can be one, you were born. They're just studied the blade.
We didn't. Excellent job, preparing for
this wonderful presentation. I'm sure if it would take quite
a bit longer. If we wanted to get to go going
over, what are we again? The Crooked fingers, the wet,
(02:47:32):
the Wet Willies, kind of opposite Vibe of the Wet
Willie's, but yeah. Okay, so does memories really
interesting. I really want to go break into
Atlas sarkov well not breaking. I really want to go talk to
Atlas sarkov right now. By any means necessary, but I
don't know where they live. So you're gonna break.
(02:47:54):
I don't like you want to send for them sort of.
Oh shit. Could you send to them?
Yeah. Oh my God I never even thought
about who I would send to if youoffered to send to someone for
me. Okay wait let's me think I just
give me like the exact words just so I don't have to like
come up with words myself. Yeah okay.
(02:48:15):
Okay. Are you ready?
This is going to be off the door.
Okay. Message from all the fastest.
Hi Atlas. Thank you for the note, talked
to your friends. They are kind of cool in memory.
There was little girl and make sure to get the questioning
(02:48:36):
intonation on the last part. Did you count that out?
Yep. Okay.
Okay, I got it wrong. I kind of 21, but, but great, I
do that. All right, to you send the
message. Um, higher something weird
happens, you feel the message bounce.
Immediately, in fact, it's the weird thing you've never felt
this before, but you feel like it was magically booked you
(02:48:58):
might be away from home, any chance?
He's in like Valhalla. Like that would block it.
He's probably just blocked from everyone.
This is one of those moments where the most you go.
Fuc, I wish I could buy. Someone's trying to get it.
Yeah, he probably just has a magical.
Item preventing a certain, scrying spells from reaching
(02:49:21):
them. Probably actually, I guess he's
Sort of, maybe they put it in the mask.
In their helmet could be maybe so that each past Lord can be
detected. So is it possible at this was
involved with the people, if They were like around him in the
past. Well, we know that at the ball,
(02:49:43):
the symphony was trying to kill as less.
That's true. So, I mean, the way they
described it as a socialist was just in the audience, right?
It's not like everyone in the audience at the ball.
Was you know, working with the band.
I think happened to be as another high profile for months.
I could be wrong. That's true.
It's crazy to think that atlus has a kid that's really weird,
(02:50:06):
right, guys, because they're like an evil ghost Lord where I
come from and here they just like, have a family.
That's weird to think about. Alright guys, alright really
freaking me out. I don't, it is strange for his
family and for me, Yeah, for youfor you to for sure.
(02:50:30):
Yeah. Like you spend Millennia
fighting someone and then like, oh, half the time, they're just,
you know, a politician with the family.
Feels unfair. Like he was, like, trying to,
like, play a game but like, he got to just, like log off and
like, you did. Yeah.
It's just there. This.
(02:50:52):
And they would just like, go home and like, have like family,
who loved them. That's crazy.
Also, I wouldn't say, tell me. I felt like we were really
close, like, just sort of by the, like, centuries of blood
like, you know, Annies but like close one.
I guess they were trying to viewit as like portal travel, but
(02:51:12):
it's certainly feels weird. Yeah.
Ricky man was a bastard, one of the most hot list.
People, I have met to think thatsuch a creature could have any
love in their heart is beyond me.
When I missed them before they actually were like, I don't know
before. I found you able to just like
they were the first person who sort of made sense to me that
don't they worked different and that was comforting, if that's
(02:51:38):
makes any sense but all the woesfamiliar to you, I mean you just
recognized ya bastard and that was enough, my God or her face.
I just don't think they're good person to spend your time with I
mean, we know how dangerous theycan be.
They have the same goals as us at the very least.
Yes, but you really want to Allyyourself with that.
I mean, my God, your message wasblocked.
(02:52:00):
They don't even want to speak toyou right now.
Technically it was hires messageblocked and they said they sent
me a letter, so there's still open to working with me, I
suppose just doesn't like me. Well no, I mean I think they
have a very limited list of people who get through and
you're probably not on that list.
No offense, but they've literally never spoken to you.
(02:52:20):
But, you know, maybe just don't get through all the time.
You can have a demo try. I mean, I think it will be same
story. I don't think it's a personal
thing on your part time. Would it be?
What would it be ridiculous to try one of their two, what do
you even call them? Handyman the assistant?
(02:52:43):
Yes, yes, those two generals in,Valhalla.
Ah, I don't know. Now, I guess I'm sort of, I
don't really have anything in portions to tell them.
I didn't already tell the body cars.
I just wanted to hear from them.personally, I guess and think
them, but it seems silly to sendto be easily just to get back
through. Well, let's get in contact with
(02:53:03):
that motherfuker more frequentlythan, you know, I mean like
calls. Let's call him more, you know,
getting contactless, make some friends.
You, and I really understand each other.
My kids. Tonight, we should start calling
them more office. Maybe they'll start looking
forward to hearing from us. Exactly.
(02:53:24):
You know, you'll have exciting things to say and maybe
eventually come to be like, hey,you know, hey, they'll be like I
don't call them one night and they'll be like, hey, you didn't
call, I was worried. But I don't think we should go
after Dean but just like otherwise we should go after
people. You guys, you know, it did talk
to Dean Dean got upset and then ran away and wanted to chase him
(02:53:48):
down, dirty assure him. And I'm just saying you never
can reassure someone. If the conversation starts with
you, chasing them down. I think we can agree on that.
Yeah, I think it's not like we're friends with Dean or have
any work. We just had to give him some bad
news and we did and it's nice that you want to check in with
(02:54:10):
him at later date, but I don't think chasing people will help
you reassure them. Emotionally, did he seem like a
killer? Did he seem happy?
But oh no, I don't Like someone waiting to be on a first date
who then had friends of the person they were going on a date
with show up and say actually your date is dead.
(02:54:33):
And also I sort of asked him to tell Vinny's family and he
really didn't like that. Oh, you guys hear a quiet?
Coughing voice from the bed nearby.
Someone goes you know, higher isreally good at calming people's
emotions though as Monty speaks up against up in bed and sort of
(02:54:59):
looks out into the room. Gives a weak smile.
I like trip over myself a littlebit and I'm like, wow that's
really different. Um you're back hey bros long
time, no see right. He been Odd awful.
Fucking sucks out here. I'll go in for a hug.
He pulls you in tight as tight as he can with the sort of Limp
(02:55:23):
frame. And hugs you tight and Whispers
quietly into here, missed you man.
Oh man, we really missed you. He pulls you back and smiles and
Monty looks at you and you see him for the first time since you
since you arrived. And finally, he notices you and
you see a tear up in his face and sort of wipes it away and go
fuck man with all this new emotion.
(02:55:43):
Shit is driving me crazy and he went for another hug.
It's the worst. They're so many and they're so
complex. Like they get so specific
detail. Yeah man.
Baseball like circumstances. Yeah.
Yeah, man. Oh my gosh.
So why don't you introduce me toyour friends who are all these
(02:56:05):
people? Know.
It whatever you don't have to say anything.
Oh god there are so many of themand I just kind of stumbled upon
them one day just kind of looking for most of them out in
(02:56:25):
the portal and for something of a group now.
Oh God. So we've talked about this in
the past is the leader Jaya who's our leader again.
Me Olaf's first magic Queen to see okay yes so this is not
really a leader. I would say we're just kind of
(02:56:45):
But yeah, this is this is orfeas.
I poke out from behind I guess. Yeah.
Hi Monty. It's good to meet you in this
way. Malaga's sort of weeps around
behind you as you pull out, and shoves you forward, a few feet
to get. Into the ground and sort of
(02:57:12):
like, try not to look too outwardly upset like fishing.
It's great to meet you. It's great to meet you.
Look at him, I'm looking at I'm looking right at him.
I'm not looking right at him. He doesn't look weird anymore.
Okay. She doesn't look beaky.
Oh looks around confused freaky.Oh you look great.
(02:57:36):
Yeah, very healthy. Vital like I mean yeah, dude,
whatever. Fuck off.
All right. Yeah guys.
Be nice to my recently revitalized brother.
Fuck you. I get it.
I can't tell what you were malicious.
(02:57:57):
Hello. All introduced me.
Settle from next. Hi there.
My name is malice sort of the cool guy around here.
I don't know how you fit into our group, but if you ever want
to like, really be sort of cool that makes himself an asshole
personality wise, how the fucking turns around.
So she shut up. This is the first impression
(02:58:18):
ruining it for me. Oh, you don't mind.
My first impression sword being weird.
You are already weird, you're weird.
You It help it. I'm like, I'm like, kind of like
side talking to Monty. Yes, my opinion of these two
really changes. Quite a lot.
To be honest, I would kind of take your own account, kind of
(02:58:39):
take everything they say, right now, at face value, but really,
just like all factored in he? Yeah, he's gonna, he's sick.
Yeah, dude. I mean you, you said no one is a
real leader here. Weekly elbows.
You hired gives you a complicit or wink and I see a plane and
yeah, yeah, you know, they're all kind of threats and their
own way so you know, like no one's a leader sort of thing,
(02:59:02):
man. How long?
I mean, last day. Remember, I was in that dungeon
I was trying to look for gold tofeed the group shit.
The the fam, the the people or people aera, they're all in the
temples. Are they safe for they fed?
Are they okay, sort of leans up out of bed a bit?
Okay, it's um yesterday, oh he leans back, Jesus Higher, you
(02:59:26):
know, those Man, they they can'thold down a job to save their
life to get gold and they're needy.
Oh I love them. I never want to stop but it was
hard work. I mean I'm so glad you're here
with me. Now maybe we figure something
out together and he gives you a smile and then he starts
coughing and I guess that's bursting.
I didn't see them as lazy like that.
(02:59:48):
I didn't really like refusing toget jobs.
No, no. She's the wrong word, dude.
I mean, like, it's just so different than ether.
People hear the cruel? They're, they're, they have
subliminal motives. I mean, are people they were
getting tricked. They were getting underhanded.
You try to pick a service job around here.
People just take out from behindwhen you're not looking, it's
heartless, it's cruel. I'm I was let down by the city,
(03:00:11):
but dungeon that's, that's something.
I know, you know, I know how to trees and digging holes when I
need to. So, I picked up a dagger and I
went down there, it wasn't so bad.
I feel as if it was worn down their monthly, I there was that
woman who ended up, I think getting to you.
I think she was beyond what we know.
I think she had so much magic surrounding her and necromancy.
(03:00:37):
She was something certainly out of ether.
Um, and I think I'm well, she's gone, I guess so.
Oh you guys later. Yeah um everyone here hey did a
lot to get you back and I think that was a part of it, I guess
(03:00:59):
as well. So Monty sort of weekly tries to
lean up in bed again and sags a bit as he grabs onto your
shoulder for support and looks up and gives you a kind of
pained look, as he goes, thank you for saving me down there.
I mean dude, I don't know how long I was gone.
You're right. She called me, I'm so good at
sneaking or I guess it was, but you make one wrong move and it's
(03:01:20):
over. And I, I don't know.
So many horrible things and memories.
I mean, I remember walking for along time and I remember he sort
of trails off looking off in thedistance.
I remember warm are like burningand cracking my skin.
You remember part of your time in when she had her control over
you or just bits and pieces and fragments?
(03:01:42):
I mean, like, maybe did you put me in like, a like a desert or
something? I remember like a hot air all
around me and it's and he sort of Shivers and Shakes and colds,
his body and go oh it's horrible.
Jesus. Oh and and I was walking around
and she was trying to teach me something, I think but I don't
know. It all gets mixed up.
I don't know what I'm remembering.
I I guess it will not be good here and I'm sorry.
(03:02:07):
Yeah. No, dude.
I'm ready to move past it. All right, I was in the world to
live in, right? She could you were Undead.
Oh, you've been brought back some of my I would say.
Well, you were certainly were brought back at magically
through. Some what illicit means that I
(03:02:31):
kind of regret listen. No, I don't.
I don't regret. Wanted again, I would do it
again, um, but I'm sad with the circumstances and which they
happened. Not everything went to plan.
But, you know, I'm glad you're here is what I meant to say.
But yeah, there's, there's some pain involved from they most,
(03:02:56):
this is day, most famous. Yeah, if you can actually see a
scar. Right, right there.
He really with pride. Yeah, buddy.
Just for you, just for you kind of like my mark of mystra.
Honestly, I'm demos resident, party wizard.
(03:03:21):
If you ever need to know something, just come to ask me.
I know the most, I think definitively, I think looks
around the room, shake, not his head.
Yeah. I don't feel like he usually
like, talk like this. Oh, sorry.
(03:03:42):
I was just, you know, first impression.
Anyways, whoa, I mean you also very smart.
Thank you for I didn't realize how many people were involved in
bringing me back. Thank you.
It really means a lot. He sort of nods his head and
looks around the room. Really.
Take how many people it took to help them?
I mean, able To just afterwards but he definitely helped bring
you back. Oh, he's that one.
(03:04:03):
I pointed Abel. That's able able nods.
It's a pleasure to meet you. My friend Monty.
Is it what? I've Exquisite creature?
You are. And how will you survived as an
undead creature? My goodness, it must have taken
quite a bit of strength to do that, though.
I'm glad you don't remember it. Sounds quite nasty.
Yeah, nice. Yeah, Monty sort of leans over
(03:04:24):
and shakes. His hand shakes a firm up and
down hand and then face points at the handshake forward.
That's the most she'll get out of old or a face bit of a
(03:04:47):
legend. What sort of thing?
Yes. I suppose you want to the night
of letters. Were you the night of long
words? I suppose.
Oh Kissing on you. My friend just razzing on you.
Trying to get the dynamic right for Monster to understand.
(03:05:08):
Like everyone keeps talking about watching his first
impression and I feel like once that keeps coming back to is
trying to make me look as unusual as possible for him.
Watch it really a normal guy. I I mean I was like a shell guy,
I wouldn't say quite that I've use all as you know, a lot of
eccentric people that ended up together you're part of that,
(03:05:30):
eccentrics ISM but in that I'm very strong, I think you'll fit
right in with us Monty it's a pleasure to have you on the
Yeah. Yeah, dude, thanks.
Um, Monty's. Sort of looks around and she's
eyes. Goes.
It really took a lot of people. Save me.
Thank you, hire. Thank you.
And he leans in close and wraps a hug around you again, higher.
I just don't know what to say. I feel like we have so much to
(03:05:53):
talk about. I mean, I was dead, I guess,
Undead, and now I'm alive. I mean, that's crazy.
I don't remember much of it. I mean it just feels like a
dream last time I remember. I was in the dungeon nothing
like yesterday, but there's so much.
I just didn't he? Coughs up again and he's around
because does anyone have any like food and water?
(03:06:14):
I'm famished cake. You can sort of looks over and
goes. Who's that?
Over there. Oh, that's normal person.
You're meet here. Yeah, yeah.
Resident sniper. That like done their time.
(03:06:35):
Goes to sleep with his gun. I've seen it. like two days ago,
just Like experienced better. And, you know, I have a family
like has like, has been like, atthe peak of his game for like
years. It's still on it.
(03:06:55):
Oh, good eyes. From behind, like, back of the
head, bullet came out through each eye.
That's really cool Monte speak. Yeah, just talk to dwell in
Nashville. I've got this theory on Jaya
(03:07:19):
that this whole family that you have, it actually just the
names. You name your guns, like Milo
was like he got a longer gone somewhere, that's your wife.
Hey, If my wife was a guy, she'dbe like one of those pearl
handles things, you know, real dainty like great.
And what is and you sort of looks around and goes, what else
(03:07:43):
I mean, are there any other likeany sort of looks that you hire
and goes, wait, did you bring meback?
What did you catch the spell? Oh God!
I really thought I ripped off all the Band-Aid.
Um, just a little, just a littlemore.
We? Okay, this gonna sound really
bad. Um, would love to get your
(03:08:05):
thoughts on our goddess, just, you know, whenever but we used
another goddess to bring you back in a sort of trade, like
sort of situation kind of like body for a body.
So we found a recently dead person.
Anyone else want to know, it's okay.
(03:08:25):
Um, the recently dead person wasone of our recent friends and
we're really upset about it. Mmm, he's gone.
We feel really bad. But you know, just happened to
be him that we found dead. The time, the timing was right.
So we used them. I'm in that.
(03:08:47):
Mm-hmm. Yeah, he knows his head slowly.
I'm sorry you had to kill someone to bring me back.
That's horrible. No we didn't.
Sorry we did, we did not kill them.
We can't. We kind of asked the cops here
and like happened to be him. Oh well.
But also we do think he was murdered so we want to find out
who it was is just what I'm saying.
(03:09:09):
I mean sure yeah it's it's, it does sound pretty complicated.
Yes, it is as everything we do out here.
Unfortunately. The worst.
Very, very complicated. Yes, but that's okay.
That's all right. Um, thank you again for helping
me. Well, we'll have to hold a
funeral for that guy. You guys knew I feel bad that my
life had to be worth someone else's Monty sort of shakes, his
(03:09:32):
head almost in denial of what he's here, but that's all right,
and he's turns up in Smiles, youknow what I think.
I think I I can make real good do with, with what I've been
given, you know, a good, a good life.
Write a new life. I'll make them.
I'll make that guy proud. Yes, for sure.
And there are lots of people. I know that we're gonna, you
(03:09:52):
know, help, and at the very least, it's gonna help me, you
know, help other people. So, we have a lot, you know,
from from this. Oh yeah, go ahead.
Yeah, I think it's important Monty free to understand he
would have died either way, you know, it was literally just a
bodily traded, not like a life. So he was already dead.
(03:10:15):
It just really just much became his body, you know, still a big
sacrifice. I wish you had to do it
obviously, but don't be like someone died because of you,
okay, yeah, sure. I'm glad you guys told me, um,
and don't worry about ether about the way higher.
You don't worry about any of that.
All right, she did. Oh, Okay.
(03:10:39):
Did how do you know this? Oh, okay.
I didn't go to her afterlife. Did I?
I mean if she was real, if she was real, she would have sent me
to, but she didn't. So she's not real God.
I'm trying to think like, where if hires like standing
somewhere. He's like, he kind of starts
like nervously, like tapping, like against the table, as Monty
(03:11:02):
like, starts to say that. And then it turns into more of
like like a. Like it grows in intensity as a
higher gets more uncomfortable to where it's more.
Like just like loud like kitty and actually.
Okay. Um there is more Band-Aid.
I guess. We're really just rip in it off.
Ether ether, ether is alive, butthat can't be and she has spoken
(03:11:30):
to me. So, and the plane is, in very
bad condition from what I could tell.
Um, Something's Happened back home and at some point, yes, I
need to learn what you know, butsomething very, very bad is
happened. In her powers diminished.
(03:11:50):
I've only been able to speak to her briefly and the times I
have, you know, I feel like it'sbeen, it's been of special
importance, but he looks at you confused and then sort of
bewildered at higher. I not making any sense if she
was real. She would have sent me to her
afterlife, she didn't. So, she's not real.
I mean, it's simple. She told me once when I saw her
(03:12:12):
that our whole plane was, as bigas this room and just, it was
almost like a normal room. Like, in terms of space, I don't
think our plane is as it was. It's somehow diminished in size
from what I've Been Told. But higher, I don't understand.
(03:12:34):
Why didn't she take me there? She could have sent me anywhere.
I wherever I went, it wasn't like that.
I mean, I don't remember it, butit was, it wasn't good.
It was scary. I was scared the whole time,
dude. I what the fuck he holds his
hands out as if confused. I don't know honestly much.
I was hoping you knew more abouteverything that happened.
(03:12:55):
I I would assume if she had the power to, she would have sent
you to her but I don't, I guess that means she can't he looks
around confused and sort of falls back into the bed know.
I you maybe you just saw a vision of something else.
I don't believe it dude. I she's she's definitely she
would have saved me. I mean, I dedicated my life, my
(03:13:17):
life to Ether into it there, shewould have give me something.
When I died, she gave me nothing.
I didn't hear a word from her. I didn't hear a word from her.
That whole time, all our people were starving in the temples.
She didn't talk to me. She didn't talk to anyone.
She know this. Be right.
And he sort of flips over and looks off confused.
Hey, I don't understand her, butshe gave me some help and I was
(03:13:45):
here, I believe to come and helpit and save you.
And our people is how I have thought about it.
Personally, he just sort of stares off.
No, I don't believe it. She talked to you.
That's great. She didn't help any of us I or
she didn't help a single one of us.
I and then you see he looks off and notices tick and the corner
(03:14:06):
and sort of leans up Tick, what is she doing here?
I I actually found her in my path.
She was in, similarly, I guess she was in bad circumstances as
well. Um, she was an enemy enough in a
fight that the first fight of many.
I guess my group is one, but shewas somehow on the other side
(03:14:31):
ether. Had mentioned that, you know,
she was sending someone to me, is what she said, and we found
her there, tick runs over and the two of them warmly Embrace.
And for a moment, it's silent. Then with a renewed, sort of
sense of Happiness Monty turns back towards you and goes into
it. I don't know who issues talking
(03:14:52):
to you like that, but I really don't think it's ether anymore.
I mean, our ether would really send tick as a Warrior against.
You are either let her people starve in the streets.
I mean, that can't be right higher.
There's got to be something morehere.
I just, we grew up with her and she was so kind and generous and
bountiful. And this is, I don't know who's
(03:15:13):
talking to you, man, but I just,I can't believe it's really her.
I don't think she's out anymore.I think she's gone and that's
okay because we still have family here and we still have
dudes. So gonna be all right, Andy
holds on to tick and gives us A Smile as the two of them, sort
of turns back and get. Well, we're gonna have to figure
it out on our own, okay? Then we can call thing again.
(03:15:33):
Where's that damn cake? What it awkwardly at the rest of
the group. It's definitely going to be.
All right, and you're right about that but again, I want I
thought a lot about you coming back.
Um, I've had a lot of time and Ithought it was really important
that we tell you everything up front.
(03:15:56):
First, this is Ethan ether. As I know her and she has
affected the reality. We've been in many times.
She's very much alive, but limited and her scope.
He sort of nods and looks off attick running around the room.
Yeah, dude, what? Whatever?
I mean, sure if that's what you want to believe that's fine, any
(03:16:19):
sort of seems to drop the subject now then where can I get
some food? All right, and he tries to
struggle out of bed. I mean, come on.
I'm just starving over here. A cake for dinner.
Let's grab some like me while it's still bacon.
He smiles at the group. Oh, yeah, we're gonna just made
our face. I'm not. just, I see.
(03:16:43):
I was just about to suggest we go get the meat, of course you
know I just want him to know that I'm on the planner and the
funny guy and the cool. I just watch me out of that
right? As geez.
You know, we gotta like a lore dumbbell on this guy.
I can't believe you guys broughtup any that's a fucking horrible
(03:17:05):
thing to say on his first day. Also, the whole God know God
thing. I don't even know, I don't want
to touch that at the 10 foot pole.
On trail. That's a tough one right there.
Yeah. It feels like having a
brother's, a lot of work. Oh yeah, it's a ton of work.
He punches you squarely on the shoulder and tries to push you
(03:17:26):
off a bit, but I shove him back harder.
All right, what the fuck he goesto shove you again, clearly
upset. I didn't have.
You showed me stop it. You guys make a Ruckus In The
Hallway. Yo, other than the two of you,
descend to go get some food, it is dinner time.
So there's quite a bit of roast Meats out and stews boiling,
you're able to acquire quite a bit.
In fact, not only for you guys Monty but really for your whole,
(03:17:46):
if you want to get traded. Also, obviously setting aside to
heaping boxes, two teenage boys size meals.
Oh hey. So what are those meals for?
What? I for I'll drop off really
(03:18:08):
quick. We're talking about.
This. So, when you went to the bridge,
you met, some people. Yeah, some thieves.
How'd that go? Oh, yeah, they're staying next
to us now. Look, I want to focus on the
Monty thing right now. I'll deal with Eddington and all
of her later all of her Eddington.
So two guys, why are you housingmen?
They're boys. They're like 16. 16, you say
(03:18:31):
like children. Yeah, they're like children.
Oh shit. Well I'm glad you guys didn't
hurt them. Oh, honestly, say I did not hurt
(03:18:57):
either. I mean that's good.
I'm sure I can get the story from them too.
Devious trip. I didn't hurt.
I mean, I'm glad yeah. I mean neither of you guys hurt
(03:19:22):
them, right? Sorry that's just a weird way of
phrased. It I didn't hurt that.
He keeps saying like I didn't hurt either of them.
Yeah, I know you said that. Were they hurting them food?
You know why don't I bring them food or a face?
No, I actually don't want you tomeet them because I think you'll
be a terrible influence. No, I'm good with kids, you
(03:19:43):
know, they like the way I seem so cool and sort of casual.
Have you ever spoken to a child besides tick?
Nope. Hates you talk, you are a face.
She hates me too. That's why I'm doing this right
this time. Give it up space.
Only talking to them when I go in with the game plan.
Listen. Let me just I want to talk with
them. All right, because I feel like
(03:20:04):
you're being dodgy about something and I don't know what
it is, but I bet they're set therecord straight.
Did you rock them? Know they robbed us.
All right. Did you like, I don't know.
Did you like threatening them orsomething?
Oh no. I mean, I had to sort of pin one
down and get the stuff from him.It didn't hurt him at all.
Okay, well, wait, who pinned down the other guy?
No, I'm Bend him down. How who stopped and he must have
(03:20:27):
been running. He stops Does that?
Stops around me. He, he slowed down and he
stopped. Why?
This is this is Us for Ed or logbase for Ed.
(03:20:50):
This is what this is ADV. He was running and then he
stopped running. Never lies.
So I'll just do it, wasn't there?
I know. But I know you wouldn't lie to
do them. That would be horrible.
He sort of Squints his eyes at your face.
(03:21:13):
You fucking what? You're clearly, keeping
something from me and I'm prettysure you're robbing with these
boys or you're keeping them prisoner.
Oh, I would, I, I don't want youto meet them, but to do them,
can reach them and then tell you, everything's all right.
Sounds good. I mean, I do sort of what I
don't have to overwhelm them. I was going to try to be
selective in like introducing figures into their life Dooms
(03:21:34):
out, right? So you're not.
All right, you're not ever goingto meet?
All of her or Edwin, you're never going to meet either of
them. Why not?
They live right next to us? I'll just go knock on their
door. You're told me too much.
If you didn't want me to meet him, you shouldn't have told me
where they live, idiot. Just don't, they just have.
(03:21:54):
So they're look. Just okay, not yet.
How about they're sleeping tonight?
They're sleep. They're tired.
They're filthy, they're dirtier than you.
You see a smile slowly girl faceas he turns to you.
And he goes, hey, what'd you getlike three more pieces of bacon
for me? You can get It yourself you
tricky. Deed me that much for lying to
(03:22:15):
me. Come on.
Okay, fine, I turned around to get bacon.
That I look over my shoulder right here.
I run after him. You catch up pretty quick, you
see him running bits of food or flying off the tray.
He's caring getting all mashed up.
(03:22:35):
I can't watch ever stop it. I run after the whole dining
room sort of turns to watch you guys go running off silverware.
Clattering off the trays as you run, he runs halfway up the
stairs as you're running behind him.
I'm gonna get that first. I'm definitely faster than him.
You are you are. Oh yeah, I want to run and
because I'm really smart. I picked the room on the other
(03:22:57):
side of us, that's not their room.
And I put my back to the door and try to body block it.
You see malaga's nearly drop practically dropped the tray
right in front of your own room with a clatter, knock, on the
door hard and to the rest of youguys, you all hear a loud and
then Malika goes running toward the door blocking and tries to
push you with side. I hold my ground.
All right, the two of you guys get into a bit of a wrestle as
(03:23:19):
those of you back inside Monty continues with his conversation,
with you all looking around, younotice he's like scratching.
I just throwed a little similar to how he was before.
Yes, sir, dude. How exactly are like you guys?
All meeting again you said you met at like a portal or
something that's crazy. And who's that guy in the
(03:23:42):
corner? Who hasn't talked to me yet?
Someone said your name is Samir.Oh, hi, sorry.
What a baking. I'll be there soon.
He I think he's, I think his wayof making a good impression,
maybe it's like making like really well for you.
And I don't know if I think thatisn't really going, well up the
moment. Just like, give him a second.
(03:24:07):
Oh, Mason just like explained tome in detail.
What happened to samir's face iswith making good friends.
Know you just not here that Expression man.
All day. Okay.
Fine. I pulled Monty aside.
(03:24:28):
Didn't like whisper you sort of lean in over his bed he not said
no. Yeah dude, listen the you guys
really went to a lot to save me.I mean I owe you a bunch, I wish
I had any gold to pay you back but I can work.
I can work at all. I guess I probably shouldn't go
back to the mines anymore. Huh, that dungeon Gary shit.
Well I, I think this group has alot of stakes and I at the
(03:24:54):
beginning of this group, we decided that we were going to
help each other and I think thiswas like, definitely my thing
that they have helped me with and I think there are things,
they will probably, hopefully help us with in the future.
But, you know, I've kind of helped them as well and we'll
(03:25:17):
continue doing. So is kind of have that is.
So it's not like you owe money for being alive.
He sort of nonsense his head andno, dude, I get it.
It's like it's family. You know, family is not you just
help people because you care about them, man.
That's awesome. Yeah, so glad you found that
higher any liens over patio on the shoulder.
(03:25:37):
That's real nice, man. You know, me and you and we
always had a thing go. But you guys something big and
it's nice and it makes me happy.I don't know.
Part of me, doesn't love it thisway.
I feel like, oh, there's I mean,oh, like like, that's okay.
No, like wait like I mean, I mean it's big and it there's a
(03:26:03):
lot of personalities within I think this particular group.
But yeah. No, it's great.
So it's our personalities. You don't like oh at least.
I mean like sometimes like we think we think one of us is evil
sort of thing. You know really you dude we've
really gone back and forth aboutMalik I guess and again I want
(03:26:27):
you to make your own judgments but you know he's been like
working like against like peoplein the group before but now
we're kind of like past it. We're okay Samir kind of all so
did like in his own way. One time, another guy was one of
us in the group and that was really, that was really fucked
(03:26:47):
up. People, so lonely for that.
It's kind of like Oh no sure. You can't hear me.
Um, It's okay. Maybe hires like whispering, but
like, it's pretty loud about it enough.
(03:27:08):
Yeah, and you could just like, never really trust anyone
because anyone could be the villain sort of within this
party is how I feel. Okay, I'm really glad to get
this inside. Right now, we're feeling really
good about everyone, so it's allgood because like everyone is
(03:27:30):
who they say they are like with the knowledge that would with
the knowledge that we're dealingwith.
At this moment. I don't think I've met you yet.
You're an auto gnome right wantsto correct.
What's your name Doom. I met a few of your kind to my
travels. You guys have been nice.
Really? We're up.
You might others? I mean, I don't know if I ever
(03:27:50):
told you but we actually did some know, you'd call it
fieldwork, I guess in the material plane.
And I spent quite a lot of time wandering around going to
meeting quite a few people. You would be surprised at the
kind of people you meet and the material Lane.
Um but you want like specifics Isuppose if you remember, I mean
sure friend. I can't tell you If it's still
(03:28:11):
closed, you sort of looks back and forth and like shrugs is a
shoulders and goes, I mean it's you'd be surprised to find an
autonomy deeper than the swords Coast.
They're pretty much all on the edge.
I don't know why some travel, I guess it's easier to arrive to
the storage Coast in anywhere else, but I'm pretty much
(03:28:32):
everyone. I've met along.
The swords Coast has been, just absolutely over the moon excited
to talk to me and I don't know. I'm sure, no exception.
I mean, have you ever been to Second bar?
For example, I met an autonomy there really nice.
I've never been there. Where is it?
Um, where are we right now? It's still in Water Deep, right?
Correct. Yeah.
(03:28:53):
It's about a day and a half ridefrom here.
So, to South most the East though, now, the place that I
really met a lot of ottomans wasin Neverwinter.
I don't have never been there, but I've met three, I don't
know, their three were they together?
Yeah, they were, they were, theywere sort of a group.
They, I don't know. I think they were like,
Historians maybe or like artificers or like scientists
(03:29:14):
maybe. I don't know.
It makes up professionals. Interesting.
Thanks for telling me. Yeah, of course.
They were. They were real nice.
They tried to teach me a lot about, you know, history and
stuff and I should have paid more attention.
But anyway, I'm sorry I don't mean to lump you guys all
together. I mean I'm sure you don't but if
you'd ever like to me and I could introduce you, When you're
(03:29:35):
feeling better. Yeah, I'm just and my throat so
dry and I'm just, I don't know. I think something happened to
me. I guess being Undead isn't very
good. You guys brought me back, right?
I think I just feels sort of messy as all and you know, great
news is like I'm a Healer. So, you know, I have spells that
can, you know, help see if anything like is wrong like, you
(03:29:59):
know, and we'll heal anything that's like different from
before, you know. But oh, that's a great idea.
You want to give me a once over Mason would be really honest.
I did some spell slot, a sacrificing, I do not have I no
longer have a spell that let's me the text.
(03:30:24):
What things are affecting them then unfortunately you cannot
guess Bill right now. But Monty goes.
It's all good. Dude.
Don't worry. We can do it and I forget when I
can learn it, but I'll learn it eventually at some point.
It's all good. I mean, I'm mostly just want to
talk with you guys. I mean, man, this must have been
a detailed mission to save me. Did you have to like any, like,
(03:30:48):
healers or anything to do it because yeah, we use this
goddess here that has a temple. Um, her name is mystra.
I don't know if, you know anything of her.
Um, I don't think so. No, I maybe I've heard of her
the religious now. I mean back when I was it was
really all about ether, but now I'm over that got smarter.
(03:31:11):
Hmm. And at this point you guys hear
a loud. Bang bang.
Bang on the door. And then it goes quiet.
Little sort of turn your head and you see a fine to half, mast
tree of food on the ground and he could rough housing down the
sort of pokes his head out. Waves, a hand at orfeas who you
see Abel way of a hand as you and Malika's wrestling up
against the door. Move got out of the way.
(03:31:34):
Malice. This is these are my recruits.
Okay. Get the fuck off.
I'm just let me just any sort ofkicks.
His foot out and bangs on the door a couple times really loud.
I kicked my foot out and aim forhis shins.
You can't go out and kick, give me a role to hit able grabs, the
food tentatively, closing the door behind him and right.
And it appears the food is here. How about some for you?
(03:31:56):
My Monty? And again, everybody, this is a
celebratory meal, he plays it out, you guys all get a bite to
eat, goes to chew on it and you see puts the first couple bites
in and then he sort of slops it almost out of his mouth sort of
incredulously what's wrong with that it tastes like oh it's
nasty she's like ash you looks down you see just some potatoes
(03:32:16):
and peas your brother has covid you tasted just like mashed
potatoes, not super flavorful but they normally he goes and
bites a piece of chicken and slowly swallows it.
And it's called no, dude. Something's wrong with that.
It'll take Gosh. I think there might be so that
(03:32:39):
so that might be one potential deficit.
It seems. Yes, I love food.
What the fucked? My favorite food is soup gonna
taste ashy now. God, oh, we'll get it back.
So, I think it's some point. I, I think that's kind of what
our group can do. We just need to figure out more
(03:32:59):
about it. I guess maybe not just head
slowly and looks down sort of solemnly.
It's just crazy to think I actually died.
He's gonna take some getting used to it.
I can ask that, man. It's just like, fuck, he sort of
knows his head down or face. What was real to hit?
It was a seven. You go to kick his shin but he
slowly pulls his leg out to slowit and he goes to kick you, but
(03:33:21):
just as he does, the door opens behind you and you almost fall
in, you turn around quickly and Molly, just sort of Pops back a
bit too. To look inside and you see two
well-dressed, women filled the door.
Oh, the two of them were wearingwhat looked like formal suits
Black with dress shirts underneath sort of freely and
(03:33:43):
slightly open. V-neck the two wear long scarves
that go up into their hair and their cover, their hair, sort of
like a like a head scarf and both of them have on large sort
of wide rimmed Optics. With slightly tinted frames
orifice is entire body turns red.
Um, Mario. We were fighting but it's not
(03:34:08):
hard just, you know, play fighting.
Give me a perception. Check thankful.
Okay, 18. Okay, two human women.
Look at you and you notice just at the corner of your eye, one
of them, slip, a small smooth Stone into the pocket as the
beginning. Talk to you, one of them goes,
excuse me. What is this bother in the
(03:34:31):
middle of the night? So, sorry, it's this guy.
Are you guys doing? No, I don't know.
Are you know, is that it? They're not about August.
Let's go to God damn you fuckingstupid.
He sort of trots over to you or face and sort of shirt after you
(03:34:51):
like beat him up a little bit and you sort of walk away.
You see the two women, walk, yousymmetric good night.
These, um, I bow to them, if youneed anything.
I'm just in this next room. I point at the room.
I'm actually a very strong nightand also really smart, so
anything you need to help with. I could probably help you with
really well. All right, good night, take care
(03:35:13):
of yourselves about again, and then a third time, and I'm back
into the door of our room. And then I turn around and open
it really quick and run. One of the woman nods, and the
other closest at the doorway, I guess you're getting food.
I mean, I you're gonna have place unless you're pranking.
You got two Extra Foods, right? That couldn't have just been a
bit. Oh, I did.
(03:35:33):
Okay, just don't see anything weird while.
I guess I'm really trying to help them.
Oh, I'm sort of over it now. After we got embarrassed in
front of those nicely, okay, howabout you?
You know, mess up whatever higher saying to Monty.
It. Yeah, I go.
And I just wanna knock on their door and out the food and be
(03:35:54):
like, yeah, I'll be back again later.
We're sort of in the middle of something and head back.
Nice. You give them the food.
They sort of conversate you withyou a bit but you had back.
Monty is still continuing to discuss with you guys ashy food.
And he sort of looks around curiously at the rest of you
guys asks, sort of like nonchalantly.
(03:36:14):
Hey, I've been any of you guys ever died before.
Is this ever happened? Am I am I sort of the first of
all? No, I died all the way.
I was dead for millions of years.
Oh you? Oh, so when you said like ghost
plane, you really meant it, huh?Oh yeah, no, I'm a ghost.
This isn't my body. This is this ladies Iceland's
body. She sucks all, but don't talk
(03:36:35):
about how much she sucks too much in front of, you know, who
I like my hand and point behind it, too.
So, weird. You see some your hard at work.
Trying to salvage. Whatever is happening kitchen.
Yeah, here's some food. I said the trade out of Monty.
Oh, wait, she didn't like it so good.
You see. He's already got another train
front of him and he's just struck a shoulder.
(03:36:55):
I don't know. It's wrong.
I I tried to eat it dude, but itjust tasted like ash.
I think I might be messed up or something.
Maybe it's a curse. I was cursed.
So that's all food. Tasted terrible to me for a
little while, huh? Maybe you did die like me.
Then, that's how I'm feeling right now.
Well, mine, I got from eating food in the FAE a while.
Apparently that's so something. Um, but you know, maybe you ate
(03:37:18):
food in the way while you were dead or something like that.
I fixed me up, though. He not just hadn't Smiles.
Thanks, I appreciate that. Night or face, right?
Third or the face? Sure.
Face, you can call me Oro. It's my nickname.
I prefer to be you know chivalrous man talking to a
night he could just call me Molly because we're Bros like
(03:37:40):
that. Eh so turns over and smacks him.
He like that, I'm trying to heal.
Oh sorry, that's an asshole. Monty sort of shoots, you hire a
confused look and turns toward the group gestures.
You guys are real colorful group.
But I I'm glad you all. So what happens now?
(03:38:00):
I mean it's I don't know. I don't feel very strong.
I might need to stay here a while.
Is it right that I stay in heal and get stronger again?
Yeah. Take your time.
I thought very little about whathappens here.
More just like what happens likeup until this moment.
So, you know, I think that, you know, we have time to figure
(03:38:21):
that out for sure. And yes a smart you know that
you just damn, I'm glad I'm withyou.
You got a good sense of planning.
I think we could really make some some stuff happen together
and he smiles, a real genuine smile.
I sort of rolls over a bit and call lightly and airily and
goes. I think I think I might need a
call it for a night tonight. I don't know, feel really we all
(03:38:42):
staying in this same room. Oh yeah, we are buddy.
Um yeah, that so that usually happens sometimes people get to
say like, you know, I want my room for the night and they get
their room for the night, but, you know, kind of.
So it's kind of like, your your call, I think.
But I usually sleep here. Sure, if, it's right, that, I
(03:39:06):
keep a bed, right? I mean, you're certainly
recovering. I think or yes.
So if and I don't think anyone else would have any objections,
unless they do. I guess I wonder this time.
Like, are they listening? Well, they like a voice through
thoughts on this, who's listening voice in their
thoughts? Sorry.
Oh sorry. Like everyone else.
Yeah. Where are my people's?
(03:39:27):
I'm fine with it. I'll sleep on the floor so that
I was fine with it. Thank you Jaya.
You're she giant is fine with it.
Just his room. Stupid are we down a bed?
Now didn't burn one. There is one bed missing, but if
you got it replaced you just said it was never there in the
summer. So the you guys do have a second
(03:39:49):
bed available Sick. Maybe the group should just
invest in the bed. I'm probably going to go work in
the workshop a little tonight with no other stops on the way
there. Okay.
Malice and goes, I need to go pee outside.
No reason. I do them.
Come with me. Oh but I don't need the pee.
(03:40:10):
God damn it. Do them.
Listen. Can you go ask or a face?
What happened tonight? Or this what happened tonight?
Wants to get want to back to life.
Then I went to shower that I went to a bridge with higher
than I came back to this place. And then the bridge part asked
about the bridge part Nolan. Yes.
How did Dean take the news? You know I mean I bet as well as
(03:40:30):
can be expected. I would say he was upset, but
you know, it wasn't like he reacted angrily per se.
He was just, you know, it's hardnews to receive.
I'd say it's a good job. Do you think he's a suspect
know? Any other requests male gifts.
Oh, did you ask about the the hooded figures the thieves?
Just about those who know where you two rob?
(03:40:51):
Yeah, we were but we got her money back.
How, what happened to the thieves?
Ass boys. Feeling from people to try to
get to go to prison so they could see their dad again and
I'm gonna try to tell them. I either get overseeing their
(03:41:13):
dads because their dads are criminals or help get their dads
out of prison and its lawful just full way.
If that's not belong in prison that's that.
Why were you talking so fast? I don't know.
I was just really scared you. An ombre with part of that plan.
I enjoyed your addendum your lawful denim.
(03:41:33):
Thank you. I'm going to try to keep his
lawful. Uh, I mean I you know, I
forgetting the amount of prison obviously, you guys are going to
be pretty involved. So I'm gonna need the whole
parties consent. I am mostly right now.
I'm just trying to find more information on this and just
help them make their lives a little bit better.
I don't know. They were just a lot of trouble,
okay? And these Rusty daggers well
they'd give them self test and fall in their daggers so they
(03:41:55):
don't even have sheets. Also, they were filthy and their
clothes were to Filthy, she wasn't a good scene.
You guys, they need to tell. Well, I think it was very Noble
of you to help them, I'm pretty noble guy delivery, right?
All right. Well, if that's it, then I
should pose. It's all right, I don't know.
Something suspicious. That's nothing suspicious.
(03:42:18):
That was nothing suspicious. That's like a deception joke.
I love him. All right.
You like everyone's passive insight.
But some insight is 12. Okay, Aura, sweat, and bullets.
(03:42:43):
And looking at higher, All right.
I would I would wager a majorityof you guys are here.
This and understand that something is it's that there
will. Did you kidnap them?
No, no they came willingly. I mean, I think they thought it
was kidnapping. Him.
(03:43:04):
Don't you just sit in the alley again?
I mean, I gave him the keys, they might be gone.
Now for all I know, I hope they're not.
So I dropped off in or like, youknow, sometime ago.
Look, it's really not that big adeal.
I'm just, that's, that's everything I did.
That is relevant actually. That's just everything I did.
That's everything I did. Yeah.
All right. That's how that sounds?
(03:43:24):
Yeah, sounds great. That's everything you did.
What did hired do? Just that easy.
I look at, I don't hire. Got her money back.
Oh did they not run at first? How did Harry get the money back
convincing? He's not very fast.
(03:43:47):
Really fast. Yes.
But I One of them I cast a spellthat would have helped higher
run faster. Oh so he caught him with the aid
of that spell. He didn't Ron quit pussyfooting
around our faces must be a goddamn night Jesus.
I know it. Someone hurts.
(03:44:14):
To where do you hire? Did you hit one of those damn
kids? Um, can hire says?
No, because I didn't the kid washit.
I mean, I didn't hit him. The boy got him this.
I say no to his question. I go ahead and roll with the
(03:44:37):
description, check for me. I didn't hit the kid, the kid
ran into a barrier. I had set up.
Kills you? He just my wall of kill.
(03:45:01):
You got him. Awful 14.
Okay? Now, let's get Squints his eyes
and he opens his mouth to shout again, but you keep it down,
please. I just want to go to bed
tonight, all right, if you guys are having squabbles, can it
please wait and you see malaga'salmost explode but calms himself
down and goes you know what? You're right kid, I'll wait,
(03:45:22):
yeah sure. Points finger guns at you.
Tired and goes see you later, buddy.
He walks off now. I'm going to bed right now.
I'll see you later. Does the party?
(03:45:43):
Think I should just accept this?Oh no one has a choice so I
should just let this happen. Nothing bad.
Or not. Be here at that.
(03:46:09):
Or a face is defending me. You can't touch me.
Okay, well you can hurt him a little it should probably be
good for him. I just it would be such a waste
if he was dead and I just worry if you get really in the spirit
of Defending Your Finger higher, you'll realize the only way to
protect it just and I don't wantthat.
(03:46:30):
So you know, go crazy. I'll have to kill me.
No listen. We're going to bed right now.
I'm listening to I yeah, I've been through enough.
I really look at malaga's for a long time.
Give him like a good, like oral pat down.
(03:46:52):
And that's right. Sorry oral but My brother.
(03:47:19):
I I am gonna take a I'll take a knife out of the big bag of
Holden and say, I can clearly see that you're gonna be insane
about this. You I I got all I wanted to say.
(03:47:45):
Um so if you're gonna do it let's just do it and Just I have
one finger, I wear the ring on, you can't do that finger.
Um, but all the other fingers are good.
I knew this day would come maybeyou really want to do it right
now. Do you want to die?
(03:48:18):
Right-handed or left-handed. Oh God what?
That's a great question. I guess I guess I'm
right-handed. All right, splay out, your
fingers and close your eyes. You're not gonna tell me which
one? Okay, so so it can't be the the
(03:48:42):
pointer finger is my request. I believe, thanks, any other
one? Feeling really good about the
pinky. Yeah, I guess we just agree on
Pinky. He feeling not great on on A
(03:49:05):
ring finger middle finger. I feel impartial to again, I
guess. That's it for pointer.
I guess or no not pointer pinky now.
Yes, please play him out. It's like you See Malika's
(03:49:31):
approach you very calmly. Simply expression on his face
and go see in Ohio. I really appreciate you being
kind about this. I'm sorry it had to be you.
I just really wish it would havebeen some bag with met on the
street because I like you you'remy friend and I just if you hold
this against me I understand it's just I have to, you know, I
have to do it. You just I thought we all knew
(03:49:51):
it was gonna be me. I thought someone told us that
there's some profit did we didn't have to be true.
And now it didn't have to be true, it just it really didn't
have to be and you see him flourish his own dagger, sheath
and bring it down on your left hand and one you're allowed
sound and a burning white. Hot pain, begins shooting out of
(03:50:15):
your left hand. You look down and you see the
left pinky is missing. Hi Barb.
What did you do? That looks horrible.
Nothing. What is this?
Is my kitchen. I, I think I try my best to
smile against and um but also I don't know why he did this
(03:50:36):
insane way but I Try to give hima smile and say um, you know, I
find it easiest when you just kind of let go and accept that
fate will just do some things. What, what is the meaning?
Of. Finger.
(03:51:04):
I'm sorry I had to be this way man.
Like it's puts his dagger away. He pulled in your shoulder.
I just you were so good and I'm just, I love you, man.
I love you and he brings you andhe trusts the hood.
White hot pink shoes to your finger.
Um, About the moment. Um, and I'm gonna heal maybe
first. Yeah, Mason can, I try to put
(03:51:26):
the finger back on its up? You place the finger toward it
and you see mallie's. Gosh, no, no no.
Oh, it's just gonna have to comeright back off.
But No, it won't know. It said that.
I listen. Are you think you'd expect me to
(03:51:48):
know how this works, right? I know what I have to do.
I'm sorry, he handle it. No, you're being insane.
I'm going to try. All right.
You hold it up to your hand. Give me a healing check.
Roll, roll, like a, any healing spell.
You'd like me a nice. Like if you can say medicine,
(03:52:09):
check if you want like to do a medicine check, but I imagine a
cure wounds will likely be better.
Oh, okay, so potentially like, if this is possible, which is
probably isn't, I would need a high roll, is what I'm that?
That is theoretically what I am asking, but it is up to you how
you want to do it. Okay, so I'm gonna.
(03:52:30):
Oh, so for me, I've used up my fourth level and third levels.
Oh, If we're being honest, so we're gonna cast a really good
level. So the cast on your finger, Oh
(03:52:54):
my God. Can I just say?
We need to keep up after being really insane about Mason.
I'm sorry, I can tell you're gonna be insane about this.
Okay. Can we talk about it?
31, like that's pretty good for four D4.
So like when you think about it,it's 31.
(03:53:15):
How do you get a 31 on 44 you know, 48 plus 4.
Okay. Your 44.
Ya know that that is an incredible role higher.
You hold the finger up to your bleeding, bleeding hand, and you
cast the spell, and you see the blood stopping was immediately.
(03:53:37):
All the day horse, through your hand, disappear on disappears,
too. When you look down and you sort
of tentatively, let go of your finger and you see it sort of
flopped to the ground as you look down and you see your
finger stump has healed over quite nightly.
You know, I just you you can have it.
Sorry higher. I'm really sorry.
I mean good and with your amazing healing so soon after
(03:54:01):
the wound, you notice. It's the scar is very clean.
I mean, it looks very, you know,it was a clean, cut it not like
Gary. Looking at all, it just looks
quite natural, but you look downin your pinky film missing.
Oh, sorry, higher, listen. We're still Buds and you know,
like it's still trying to hug you as you're doing all this.
And you know, it makes me feel better that to know that it's
(03:54:23):
all right. And I didn't say anything.
Monty sort of scratches out again, is this how you treat
each other? What the hell again?
So, fuck again. So you really just take
everything in this group of facevalue, right?
(03:54:43):
And yeah, he yeah, keep an eye on this one.
That was crazy. Why did you do that?
I'm like, like Shove the malice off of the bad guys away from
him and then he get the finger the bed and go.
Oh my God! Oh God.
You did on the bed now. I guess, what the hell?
Samir go ahead just in the fridge.
(03:55:03):
What? Clearly, I can't get it back
here. It's fun.
It's gone. I could never get back.
(03:55:24):
You look at the little blue finger goes sure.
All right. He goes to open the window.
Okay. Fine, never mind.
Give wait. Just so we're talking Mickey
just so we're like mechanically my fingers gone, right?
(03:55:46):
Like I'm not gonna eat it back on.
So right. As of now, you are missing one
finger that it is your pinky. What has no game disadvantage on
you. Give you a finest anything.
But if anyone asks your honest answers, you have nine.
All right? All right, done.
Nine finger higher, it doesn't hurt anymore.
(03:56:10):
You did a good job, fire look down I guess all to relief
because you sort of profit toughthough.
Told you. This was gonna happen and now it
has. And it's like, yeah, so bad.
It only hurt a little bit. Um, you can also now add one
Higher. Oh yeah, you should drop that in
the bag and listen again higher.I'm so sorry.
Just a double check. You really did one of those
kids. Right.
This was an old friend. Yeah.
(03:56:31):
Listen. That's all right, man.
I would have beat the shit out of those kids.
Fuck those kids, they sound likeassholes.
It's just the deal. You know how it works.
Matt better my finger than yours, right.
I wish you was my finger insteadof yours because I like yours
and your friend of mine, but it's just how it works.
I mean, you know, how It's gottago.
I feel like any chance of this not happening when away when you
(03:56:53):
kind of took on this mindset. So Melissa higher, you know,
I've been paying attention to it.
I mean every other thing about kids here kids there, who's got
kids, not Third Way, just in a protective way.
The next guy who hurts a kid, I get to cut off a finger.
You see I would open to find someone out in the wild.
(03:57:18):
You see higher, I didn't want itto be boss.
I don't see didn't expect it to be one of us because we're not
really chilled hurts. This is weird so much.
You enjoyed it. Seems like you enjoyed cutting
off my finger but we know Joy. I wish it'd be someone.
I forgive you. Oh really?
Yeah, when Fabrics made me like kill you.
I remember you know what? Heard of extends a hand and it's
(03:57:44):
like you're right now. We're yeah.
Yeah. So the shakes her hand up and
down. You see Monty look at Falls back
into his bed, stunned. Call that for a day successful
as always. And with that, it is sort of
evening time. So is there anything you guys?
Oh, I think I want to once this is all done, Walker daughter.
(03:58:13):
We started talking about that for now.
The kitchen is a mess, you recall.
I got a four on this role. So I mean I don't even know if a
four would be like an actual good wanna see the DC for cake?
Making is five. So six it was a six six did make
a cake. Yes.
(03:58:36):
You walk over Samir and Jaya areproud to present a really sort
of flat pound cake looking thing.
Oh, Some, it's just all butter. It's just really thick too.
(03:58:56):
You really have to chew on that book.
You learned, we learned a lot. I learned who to pick as a
baking partner and I learned I just the giant you did the great
job. I'm gonna be we did we actually
got to watch the what do you guys call yourselves the world
(03:59:18):
finger? I think I was sticky fingers.
Who were the ignorant fingers, and excellent brand name.
You guys want my like cut off finger to be like your mascot?
Oh, that's gonna be the ignorantfinger not a frame.
It that sounds right. How do you frame?
(03:59:39):
I think the first just put it inthere.
Anyway. Um, the ignorant fingers, we got
to hear them play it. Nice.
I enjoyed them my time and to beenjoy, I talked about with
exciting. Oh, did you guys talk about, you
know, kids and brothers and stuff, brother starts here.
It was telling me about the kids, right?
(04:00:01):
And they were, and yeah, we talked about family for oh,
interesting stuff. I'm glad you guys got to bond
about that, I guess. So anyway, don't like go build
something, or don't just do in the higher.
Know, it's more than anything. Let's go right now, please,
(04:00:23):
let's go. Good night.
Thank you. Guys could use some bonding to
maybe. Ask him about his family, talk
about your family. Oh, I don't have a family.
Okay, kind of a long silence there. okay, you have Oh, I do
(04:00:57):
have you to love. Don't trust you not the rest of
us. Oh, I have all of you guys.
I like you all a lot. It's not like we're biologically
related but you know, it's cool and I'm with you and yeah, I
don't know, I guess or family. I don't really, I don't, I don't
know. It's a foreign concept.
(04:01:18):
I'm not gonna let's a nice thought I think.
Good luck with your finger High. All right, it's all good.
Do you? look at your stuff, not All
(04:01:42):
right, good night, all. Thank you.
That was fun. I wanted to try that again.
All right. We should do it together.
Could you not? Right?
And Samir and orifice. Exit, is there anything else you
guys would want to see a sort ofjust turned over now called it a
night? Yeah, I probably Journal.
(04:02:07):
That's it. All right, you guys all bed for
the night. So I imagine, you know, because
you're in a hotel, does anyone keep walking?
I probably would just, you know,Dooms up.
Anyway. Yeah, that's saying to, what
does anyone keep watch? I if you guys are in a hotel
dulum said he, let's suppose that's it, then um, Doolin would
you give me a perception check? Please try, that's a 14.
(04:02:29):
All right, doodle him, a 14, youor just sort of hanging out in
the middle of an eye when you sort of, you know, zoning out
charging and on standby mode, you hear a small film, something
came in the carpet, look around, looking for it.
And on a 14, you notice, they small looks like a something
