(00:01):
All right, you guys. Welcome back to Ron.
Petco's plane walking episode 35.
Let's get into it. Last time.

(00:55):
Where we began was right after in the middle of the night.
Dulum had found had heard the noise of something dropping to
the floor and picked up a small smooth stone that immediately
plunged it into magical sleep. We began among Dooms dreams
where it had a peaceful dream about mechanicus.
But strangely, the other robots it encountered in mechanicus

(01:20):
nude, this was a dream and new it was Dooms dream specifically.
So sort of just like it talking to itself.
Um, then as dulum awoke it foundthat someone had rifled through
all of our stuff in the night. We concluded pretty quickly that
it had been the ladies next doorto a crack in the wall between
our rooms, which theoretically awizard could have Misty stepped

(01:41):
through all. So, because Oro and Malice had
previously seen one of them slipping a small Stone and her
pocket So, we searched the ladies bedrooms being let in by
the hotel manager, who we obviously immediately contacted
to alert all the hotel guards and make sure they hadn't been
seen entering or exiting Hotel. Unfortunately, no one had to
lead on them. In ladies bedroom Oro found a

(02:04):
single silvery black thread and smelled lavender.
But unfortunately we didn't findanything concrete except for
basically proof that they are Wizards or spellcasters and that
likely what they did was create this crack in the room slip, The
Rock through it to put Doom to sleep lavender.
Of course being a spell component used in sleep and then

(02:25):
Misty step into the room to lookfor our stuff.
The only thing that we found missing from our things was
unfortunately the evil book of reversed spells that Davos had
been carrying on able to track them down completely right now.
We instead had our rooms moved up the floor.
Um, Oro also went to alert Eddieand All of her, the two boys who

(02:49):
are staying in the hotel. Someone under his watch that
they were all moving rooms. They were on over, which made
oral really pissed off, but Jayahelped him talk to them and get
them to move then, smear lectured Oro on metal in the
lives of people without being like completely responsible for
them. Yeah, you know, to mixed

(03:09):
understanding. Um, meanwhile Monty mentioned
that he had been having dreams about being thirsty in a desert
come morning. And we went to talk to Topher.
I say, Topher. I mean X.
It was averix. I don't know, I don't know if
seemed like, definitely is Mavericks to me.
You smiled me sounded like average.
I when you re-listen to that episode 34, you're gonna be

(03:32):
like, oh shit, that was Everest.Um, Topher told us that we had
to tell Vinny's parents. What happened as sort of our
recompense for taking a body that we could have identified.
Um, we also promised to put in agood word for topher's promotion
to Rexy mere. Next time, we talked to them and
he Topher informed us that we shouldn't pursue the women in

(03:53):
the suits who robbed us because they almost certainly work for
masked. Floors.
Probably Davos is most Lord if you asked me.
Um meanwhile Giants board with Abel and Molly and it went so
bad so so so so bad. Able got stabbed in the chest
mali's. Nose was broken.
No one was running to heal them.So China, just sort of Foot Abel

(04:14):
in bed while he started bleedingout.
Oh, Meanwhile Deimos do a littlehigher and aura or debating as
they walked towards Vinny's parents home as to what to tell
them. They most entire wanted to lie
to them that the, oh, so Davos purchased an urn and filled it
with bread, Ash, which he boughtfor two gold.

(04:36):
And intended to lie to them and see that this was Vinny's body.
A higher was on board with famous.
His plan, did them, however, felt strongly about telling the
truth and Oro. Basically, just had decision
paralysis, though. He was leading towards telling
the truth, as well, because that's more in line with his
morals. The team couldn't agree.
Oh, and Aura. Not knowing who to trust, or

(04:59):
what to do bail out of decision, paralysis all.
So because, or at the time, it seemed like the team was leading
towards doing the lie. And Oro, didn't think he could
be present while watching them lied of any poor parents, but as
the three remaining dulum demos higher arrived at Finney's

(05:19):
parents house, Dylan put its foot down and said it would
permanently feel different abouthigher and they most if they
went through this plan, this ledhigher to acquiesce to doom and
they told the parents, the truththat, you know, they took
Vinny's, dad took it pretty hard.
His mom took Get somewhat, suspiciously not hard and in

(05:39):
fact seemed to know details about Vinny's death.
That no one had told her a little sassy.
Meanwhile Oro. Wandering the market found Samir
talked a little bit about the discussion.
He just had with the other partymembers Samir told me.
I cry too much. It's my fault.

(05:59):
Then we bought some materials tomake gios a spider, climb
slippers as well as some snacks for Edward and Oliver and I got
home. I healed, Malgus and Abel.
We ran into the others on our way to shop, some more to get
the materials for higher, and they most items and do them
decided to accompany Samir and Iinto the market to them.

(06:21):
And I made some money on the side, by fixing up items at the
thrift shop, where we met clerk, the vulture Erica, who runs the
attic, which is a thrift shop ofstuff.
Clerk has saved from the dungeons, we made some money and
also as a tip got a belt of one extra Pocket.
A Deimos went to visit Samson. The probably mask Lord that he

(06:46):
spent the night with a few, maybe a week ago, I don't know.
Time is so hard. It was an amount of time ago,
meanwhile and Abel went to meet the GIF, who Abel knew at his
bar. The big bucket Abel.
Waited outside, while Jaya went inside and met Captain throm
casket, the captain of the ship, the Lily hook a captain from

(07:10):
Cascade is blind and admitted that he had not come to material
played willingly but in fact been decommissioned, when his
position among the gift of auroria as a colonel was
automated and he was replaced bymechanical being.
He says that the gift Army and specifically, his branch is
being taken out by machines. And that when he had been

(07:33):
recently able to get in contact with the glorya an opportunity,
he traded his eyesight for He learned that three bears, had
recently gone black out overnight and he thinks it was
the machines, though. He can't be sure if they were
missed functioning or rebelling or what and we left off there
with sort of all of us scatteredto the way.

(07:54):
And you know what, amazing, he realized his last time we have a
dinner date to make. Oh my God, you've had a
beautiful dinner date. So welcome back to D&D
everybody. Thank you for the intro man.
You see that was an excellent intro as usual.

(08:16):
So, we return now to the city ofwaterdeep, it's mid-afternoon,
just bordering on the evening. Now, as you guys have begun yet
another day of sort of rest and relaxation as well, recouping
some of your well, some some items actually that you guys
have put in as an order through Orpheus.
And also some of your sanity forthe last couple of days of

(08:39):
pretty intense activity. Where we left off, Jaya.
You had just finished a conversation with a fellow GIF
inside an ale house. Colonel falm cast and older.
Gentleman. Same as your self who seems to
have gotten used to life on the material plane.
Giving up any sense of heading back to the planet to grow up

(09:02):
but gave you a bit of info. But where you could go next to
learn more additionally, anothermember of our Crew That's sort
of in the middle of an action. Right now is demos The most you
made your way over to the young Bachelor, Sampson a wealthy
gentleman, who seems to have a lot of free time on his hands.

(09:24):
Who invited you back to his his Abode whenever you so chose you
chose today and returning back the guards were hesitant to let
you in but I'm mentioning the name of one of the servants
inside and showing interest in them, the guards, hesitantly,
let you inside. We'll begin with you today.
The most, as you make your way across the long winding path

(09:47):
leading towards Samson's. Great palace, a sort of manner
built a top, one of the Great Hills in the castle.
Ward of waterdeep, you walk along, and no one in particular
is guiding you, but you can tellthat you're being watched.
That only by the guards at the entrance who sort of seem to be
poking their heads over their shoulders to keep an eye on you.

(10:09):
But also you notice a great minilooks like private guards
watching you from the palace. In front of you.
There are stand a few sort of idling by the entrance way of
the great manner as well. If you on the rooftops above you
see crossbows slung over their shoulders, sort of watching you
with some interest. As you approach, another one of

(10:31):
these private guards dressed in sort of a deep black at the
front gate. Stops you and you see the great
beautiful doorway, that leads inside the manner is sort of a
jar and you smell a sweet smell coming from inside, some sort of
pastry or perhaps sweet meat wafting out from the inside of
the building. Over the Garden front, sort of

(10:54):
holds a hand out and talks to you and a quiet voice.
I hear that. I got wood that you looking for
the Servants of the house. She's outright yes.
Spell video. Right.
Yeah, well Beverly is inside butit's a bit busy.
If you don't. Mind me asking what's your
what's your angle? My angle, sir to be crash.

(11:16):
It's just, you know, normally those who come here for Samson,
this sort of give up once they learning.
He's not here. So curious.
What's your coming back for? Did you leave something?
Oh I got. You know, I mean and Belvidere
had you know a little bit of a child last time I was here and
you know I felt like we sort of bonded a bit and I felt like

(11:40):
coming to chat with him, you know?
The guard nod sort of hesitantlyand goes, right?
All right. Um come on inside.
Then I'll take you to and with asort of heavy leaning into the
door. You see the great beautiful
black oak door. Push open.
And this Garden leads you insidethe manor?

(12:00):
It's just as you remember, it, dark black satin and velvet
across the walls and sealing accents, and what looked like,
dark sort of icy blue, and leathery Browns, all over the
place. There is a smell of sweets
around you, and it sounds like there's a conversation
happening. You hear almost what sounds like
a group laughing. You hear clinking of glasses,

(12:24):
and a sort of very rich and velvety.
Deep laughter come from a room far away.
But the guard leads you in a different direction, sort of
turning a hard right to immediately and guiding you
down. A long passageway away from the
conversation. Look at toe.
Just the the Master of the House, didn't Right now, but

(12:44):
I'll be happy to take you to Belvidere.
The butler is really been a quite well jittery lately.
Yeah. Mashed it on Wix been gone for a
while now and well, you know howit is Butler without a master.
It's a hard hard job. So, uh, you know, I'm sure you
accompany will be nice. Yeah.
Um, could I from like from like the, the cheers and the

(13:07):
laughter? Do I get, like, any hint of
Samson's voice from the party? Give me a perception check,
please. Perception.
Um 15. Um, you listen and it does
sound, like there are a number of people in there with a 15,
you determine just from the sortof raucous laughter that you

(13:29):
heard when you walked in and then some clinking of glasses
and a few side conversations. Something like there might be 10
to 15 people in that room. However, paying attention, you
don't hear Samson's voice among any of them, they all sound a
bit older, a bit more sort of generationally wealthy.
That's sort of, like, people whohave lived here a long time and
have a very sort of passive commutable are to them, just at

(13:53):
least from the conversations, you can hear those people.
Don't quite sound like the same individuals that Samson told you
he often interacted with yet. Nevertheless, they're here in
the manner. You do notice though the guard
keeps a close eye on you is he leads you away from that
direction. In fact, with the 15% shake you
know notice a few more would look like personal servants and
bodyguards lining, the hallways of this building more than you

(14:16):
expected. In fact, when you were here
before, as Simpsons guest, you were sort of free to roam the
building at your own Leisure. If you recall, that's actually
how you found Belvedere in the first place.
But now you notice, your path issort of forced for you.
There are two bodyguards that watch a doorway as you pass down
a hallway. Sort of watching you go by, they

(14:37):
don't seem to be particularly aggressive, but nevertheless,
they seem to be guarding your Swiss Escape.
Additionally, you notice anotherbody guard almost cloaked and
what looks like a deep black robe blending them in, with the
background hiding almost with two dark eyes watching you as
you go by hitting among the curtains of one of the walls.

(14:58):
These people don't seem to be exactly aggressive.
Again, that none of them have weapons out that you can see,
but it just some sort of seems to be a reminder or perhaps even
a unusual sight at least compared to the last time you
were here, a reminder that you aren't exactly allowed to freely
wander by yourself. Nevertheless, though, this

(15:19):
guard, that's sort of the front leads.
You passively down another hallway and down a long servants
Corridor, until you finally end up in the kitchen and that
strong sweet smell strikes. You once again, as you see a
number of servants here cooks and would look like a few pastry
chefs. Mulling about preparing looks

(15:41):
like a large dessert platter spread of different macarons and
pastries of breaded. And buttered nature, you see,
light pink berries that have been glazed with some sort of
Sweet Sticky substance like a syrup and the pastry chefs and
these Cooks here don't really pay much mine.

(16:01):
But you know sort of propped in the corner of the room,
analyzing a particular dish is the butler.
Belvedere you remember his his frame and look and he looks over
at you and gives you a wave and you see his smile and the crease
lines on his face sort of fold as he does.
So the guard, That led you in wordlessly steps back and stands

(16:22):
by the door that you walked in? Would look to be one of the two
entrances in eggs to the room. There's another exit that you
notice a sort of double doors that looked to lead out in a
different direction and standingat that entrance is another
guard. This place is way more.
Will guarded the new remember Belford deer approaches you
though when he reaches out a hand to shake your own?

(16:42):
Oh goodness. The pleasure to have you back.
The most is that, right? Yes, yes, Belvedere.
I'm I'm surprised you remember my name?
Yes, of course, how can I forgeta guest of the of the Masters.
It's a pleasure to have you back.
Might I ask what's brought to you about the good Masters out?
He has been for a few days. Oh well I guess I was sort of

(17:04):
checking in on things and and you of course, I imagined.
Well I guess wrongly imagine that.
It might be a little lonely in this this manner but seems as
the things are quite Lively tonight.
Oh thank you. Just a servant must stay busy
with the master away. A few of his guests of decided
to take up room in the building and no one of particular note,

(17:27):
but tonight this seems to be a bit of festivity.
I'm not sure if you heard their excitement all the way in, but
we're hosting bit of a dinner party and the Master's absence.
Nothing interesting. Of course, he sort of looks away
and looks off to one of the guards in the corner and stares
at him for a moment, then he turns back to you.
It's nice to stay busy. Um yes I was informing you the

(17:47):
good Master Samsung has been after a few days now as some
sort of emergency meeting at theat the Capitol grounds as I'm
showing you informed you he doesa lot of work inside the capital
of what a deeper the great Castle.
He operates as a sort of dignitary, I suppose maybe a
basseterre three.

(18:41):
Oh a three. All right.
Um You you see a flash of emotion on velvetears face but
it's too quick and you can't recognize what emotion it is.
Hmm. He turns towards you now and he
gives you a very familiar smile and he goes, I'm sorry.
A good Mr. Demo. But unfortunately, I'm quite
indisposed here. I can't take you to a private

(19:02):
room at this current time, but I'm sure whatever you could tell
me, you could speak in front of the the company here.
She looks around and gives you an another smile.
Oh, quite I mean it's you know, it's all quite embarrassing
actually. Um and then I'm gonna, I don't
know. I'm gonna Okay.

(19:25):
Oh, Deimos is going to take out his backpack.
Okay? And um and he's going to pull
out his urn know. Um doing this, you know, this a

(19:45):
few of the the cooks in the roomsort of stop what they're doing
to turn over and watch you. With some curiosity, both of the
guards in the room are also watching you pretty closely now.
Belvedere sort of looks at you and goes.
Well, what's this good sir. See I've I've I've lost someone
recently and you know, I'd felt that, you know, I'm kind of new

(20:07):
to what a deep and I don't have many friends and I was just
looking for someone, someone to talk to tonight, but I see if,
if everyone's too busy here and oh, it's that your friend there.
That's pretty dark master day. Most you brought them here?
Well, see, they had no one else and I had no one else.

(20:32):
No. I am I see.
And you look, you see him look back and forth.
Give me a persuasion. Check the most no, sorry, this
is a deception. Check my bed, big girl, big girl
big A big nine, big nine on the table, big nine.

(20:58):
Yeah. All right.
Um, You speak to Belvedere and hold the urn and you see him
look at the guards in the corners to watch you as well in
Belvidere goes was sure I'm sureI'm so sure that what you're
going through is very painful but unfortunately we're any size
all booked up you see the the manner has a great number of

(21:20):
rooms but in the Master's absence of we've actually filled
them all up with gas. So I unfortunately can't allow
you to stay the evening to. Well enjoy your respite and
perhaps grieve in silence. But what I can't offer you is
the shoulder to cry on. Would you like a hug Master
demos? Yes.
Velveeta the hood would be great.

(21:42):
He leans toward you and wraps his arms around you and does in
fact give you a sort of gentlemanly hug and pulling you
back, he gives you another priest smile.
There's really not much more. I can offer you master the most.
You were a very kind guests hereand it was very, very kind of
you to visit me. Perhaps, is there anything else

(22:02):
you'd like to talk about? I could inform you a bit more of
the Cummings and goings of the castle.
Ah, yes. Is there news?
Yes. Well in fact, we've actually had
a dignitary come from in the newhero voice in the corner, the
guard, the other one, not the one that led you in the second
one in this room. Coughs labeling goes all right
Mr. Belvedere I think you wantedin the in the Dawn at all.

(22:25):
It's someone call for you and velvety turns around sort of
like with a snap. You see a brief look of fear run
across his face and he goes, oh goodness me but sorry.
He must have the most. I must be going.
I'll be back shortly and he turns away and looks back at you
one last time. And you see another flash of
some unrecognizable emotion disappear quickly, and he exits

(22:45):
the door that the guard is watching the guard crosses his
arms and looks at you and goes right.
Well, I mean, I guess that's it with the butler you might want
to be on Your way then right? You know do you guys perhaps
have a restroom? I could use such a like a long
walk from, from my Inn, you knowand And I just I so I really

(23:06):
have to go here. Can you hold this?
And I'm gonna hand the Urn to him, you thrust, the urine into
his hands and he sort of looks down or didn't go, any sort of
puts it away. Like two feet away from him,
still holding it and goes, but yeah, yeah.
All right. I'll be leading you there, all
right. It's just, you know, wanna make
sure you're not gonna be walkinginto the wrong room.
And this secondary guard, a larger fellow than the first

(23:27):
looks like, perhaps a half work by the looks of his face
underneath the large helmet. He has on opens the door behind
him and just for you to go through holding the urine in one
hand, nice. He leads you through and then he
follows close behind you. You see Belvidere about 20 Paces
up walking quickly and he even turns around and looks at you

(23:47):
and gives you a polite wave until he turns a corner the
guard though. Stops.
You've been earlier at one of the many doors, along the
hallway and goes. Well this is it right here.
Go ahead and have a kiss. I'll be walking out here.
Let me know if you need anythingregarding the door, just drink
for you to go in. You want me how this holding the
urn? Well, I mean, if unless it

(24:08):
affect it, does offend you sir, I Know, I just, you know, I
haven't heard something like this before.
He's all Okay, good, just don't,don't drop them, you know, I'm
gonna walk in the bathroom. Um, okay, okay, you can close

(24:29):
the door, and you see the guard is standing there watching you.
As you enter, you walk into a pretty nice.
Looks like small bathroom and there's a small sort of slit
window on the other side that looks to exit to the outer
Gardens of the manner. Okay.
Um, so I think first thing, I guess what?

(24:49):
Their Faucets in this bathroom. Yes, you find a nice sink.
It's sort of one of those clamshell-shaped ones that,
like, you have the nice running water.
Good just running water. What?
Oh, okay, demos will turn on thefaucets.
Just for the noise and then he'sgoing to test out, press the

(25:15):
digitation just like something like fire players or something,
you know, just to see if he can if it's if he can perform magic
in this in this manner basically.
All right? Um, you get the sink to go in.
You sort of hold your hand out and test press the dedication.
And you see the familiar Sparks of magic in your hands.

(25:35):
Looks like yes, it was successful.
Okay cool. Um then immediately after that
demos is going to try and cast clairvoyance.
Okay, where would you like to cast Claremont?
Um I guess I don't know if the most ever really saw like the
space of where the dinner was happening.

(25:56):
But would you say he could, he had like a pretty good guess of
where the room was. Um, give me a history chick for
that one, please. Oh rolls today 12.
Okay. Um you recall your previous time
in the manner you did get to explore it a decent bit and it's
true. Unfortunately, you didn't

(26:17):
actually enter the dining room where you were called the
conversation happening. But you do remember, walking
down the sort of wide hallway that led to the room.
You recall, a spot that you could perhaps Place yourself,
that would not necessarily have a view of the room but you could
pretty much be right at the door.
As if you were eavesdropping from the other side.
Is that something you want to do?

(26:38):
Yes, that sounds perfect. Okay. you post yourself up in
the bathroom and cast Clairvoyance, You Feel The
Familiar sort of wishing and Sounds of magic around you as
your sensor appears. And You Begin hearing a voices,

(26:58):
they get louder and louder as you focus on where specifically,
you want to have this sensor appear.
And just as you're doing that, Iwant to sort of jump again
around as I understand it. Doom and orfeas were out
shopping on this date. Is that right firmer denied

(27:19):
Doula? Yeah, okay.
Um, after you guys finish a bit of shopping and are still
wandering around, is there anything specific you guys would
like to do? I think we're mostly just
getting materials and componentsfor or to build stuff for
tonight and then we did a littlebit of money on thing.
Got it. All right, I did I did like your
money hunting scam. Um, is there anything else you

(27:41):
specifically? You do them?
Well, I guess it wasn't a scam. You know, it was honest work.
You're right. It was honestly flavor, I think
after we're done shopping, we just had back to the group.
Okay. I you're on the turret.
That's all right. Me and dueling were talking

(28:02):
shit, okay. I wanted to get the materials
for Carter's ring. Up, Carter.
Did you want the proficiency or expertise?
You wanted expertise and proficiency for you, right?
So yeah, 3090 gold pieces for Carter's expertise and
proficiency and then you wanted one for Monty also write

(28:25):
proficiency from Monty. Yeah, so that's 390 plus 160.
So the 550 gold pieces worth of Carters persuasion proficiency
rings. Then also the 500 gold worth of
stuff for Dooms, Amulet of proofagainst detection and location
famous. Moses Moses Moses.

(28:48):
Um, and then I really wanted to get just like 30 more goals, so
I could make an expertise ring for myself.
But another time, oh, what do you like some?
Oh, I can't, I can't take gold from you.
Well, since I'm here, alone, me some gold before.
Would you like to do the same with me?
But I really, of course, how much gold do you have?

(29:09):
I don't have to take your last 30.
I point down at my bag but it was 1300 gold.
Of course. Oh, thank you very much, Dylan.
And then, I want to go ahead andgrab the materials to make
myself a ring of, I think, persuasion and proficiency, or

(29:32):
sorry, persuasion expertise as well.
All right, the price for that is, I guess what, what
specifically do you want for efficiency and or expertise
persuasion? So the same thing as the exact
same thing. All right?
Yes. You can get the ring.
Yeah. Okay.
That sounds good. Cool.
Thank you. Of course, right?
It's the group. If you guys walk throughout the

(29:53):
city, acquiring all these items. Can you just give me like a rote
investigation? Check the two of you.
Oh, Yeah, I really glad investigation is our shopping
stat. Because it makes sense.
The aura will excel in that. All right, 25.
Okay. Um the two of you guys make
quick work of this Market, finding pretty much all you need

(30:14):
for all of these items in about an hour.
Great, it's pretty efficient andyou blow a lot of gold and it's
one of those things where are neither do I guess really know
the, the value of the dollar, but people are giving you pretty
wide-eyed, looks as you as you were doing this very quick,
shopping spree. In fact, they're even comes a
point where, you know, notice a small group of what looks like

(30:37):
two sort of rough looking fellows.
Falling you for a while but thenpeel off after enough time and
stop. And we have Samira with us too,
right? So theoretically he's got some
Street. Smarts Samir gives you guys
input every once in a while, youknow.
For example. Oh, I think someone following us
you guys might have spent too much money at that last place.
Oh, like like they're trying to bring us back some that we spent

(31:00):
too much of what a face. You.
I certainly know that, you know what the thief is?
Oh, you think they want to stealfrom us because we're flashing
money, but don't they understand?
We just got rid of all? Our money seems short sighted.
Well I think they might want to just relieve you of it.
Sometimes you have pickpockets other times, they just mug.
You, I would keep an eye. I'm hoping it's better with the

(31:21):
three of us. But um, I should warn the two of
you that do them as a sort of small full and Affairs as sort
of a small bulk. Nothing, the two of you might be
more. You might look like easier
targets, it's all just be warned.
I see. Oh, thanks for the tip.
Of course, and I can help with other things.

(31:44):
You're doing a great job shopping.
By the way, I like this out heretaking, you know, I don't know
the city very well, but it seemslike you guys practically do the
map. Yeah.
And his brain. Well, that's impressive.
You're a very good robot to them.
Thanks Samir and the hour goes by, and after acquiring all your
things. All right.

(32:04):
Should we head back to the Inn, to build everything?
Ah, oh shit. You know what?
I just remembered. Oh, we had that dinner date with
Flexi tonight. Oh, good memory or a face.
In fact, that should be coming up, soon, shouldn't it?
Fuck. Okay, we need to get everyone.
Well, should we all go? I mean, I understand that it
would be rude to miss, but, but we could just send this smaller

(32:25):
group, just because I know that, well, the most and Jaya were off
doing something that seemed important to them, especially
Jaya. Hopefully, at least hire is at
the hotel and we can go get him and he can send to everyone to
see if they want to come. I guess leaving people behind,
oh, no, I don't want to either. I just, you know, it the last

(32:46):
time that you guys were at this restaurant at the most said that
he, you know, almost died. He just died.
Yeah, and so, I just, you know, Maybe he doesn't want to go to
this. I don't know.
We should ask though. It's always better to ask you,
right? Always better to ask.
All right, you guys head back tothe end then?
Yeah. Um, back at the end higher, what

(33:09):
have you been up to this afternoon?
Do you have anything specific? You want to be doing?
Uh, yeah. I want to be talking to Monty,
okay? You, and Monty spend a bit of an
afternoon together. Catching up and bouncing ideas
off each other, he's feeling a little better.
You can tell the strength, the slowly coming back to him.
Is eyes aren't so hallowed and you can tell the, you know,

(33:32):
cough that he seems to be havingto slowly disappearing, but he
still pretty much a bed ridden, he not in a good enough
condition to be adventuring at the proper level that you guys
are. Hmm.
Um so I want to specifically um ask about kind of what happened
when he like fled the city um orwhat that process looked like.

(33:57):
Yeah, dude. What do you mean fed the city
though fled the city or fled themundane plane?
Yeah. Like ether said I was supposed
to get all my knowledge for me. You I know I know nothing really
of what happened to her home. Oh I mean that this kind of
sound like ether sort of, you know a liar and a fraud give you

(34:17):
information that didn't work out, you know I get it.
Yeah, well, I love for it to work out.
Now if I mean at least I I want to be on the same page.
What can you tell me what happened?
I mean, it just happened so fast, dude.
Like I'm, I don't even know whatyou want to hear it.
Just it sucked is what it was. Um, we we all got sort of a

(34:40):
feeling, you know, it's something that is, I guess, kind
of common out here, but in the mundane plane I've never felt it
before. A feeling of like Dread like
something bad was gonna happen, everyone in the town filtered it
once, we all went to the city Square just to try to figure out
what was going on the older, folks, you know, some of the
Elders of the Town were like trying to get people together.
We thought maybe there was like a, I don't know, some sort of

(35:02):
natural disaster that was gonna happen.
Like it like that weird. And so we were all crowded in
the center and just like that, that's like any sort of looks at
you. And you see, he's got this like,
frightened, look on his face. You can tell it's really scaring
him to relive this and to tell you that.
But he sort of grits his teeth. And he goes and just like that
we were gone. All right?
We were Here not here. Exactly.
Of course, sort of outside the town but here that was it and he

(35:26):
sort of turns his head, everyone.
Get dude, everyone or I think everyone, I mean, we did a head
count and it seems like pretty much everyone is here except
well, the elders did a more personal count and there are
people that are missing. Yeah.
Like, where's where's mom? Yeah, right, I know, I know, um,

(35:47):
everyone in the Town Center thatday came here, all the people
who were, you know, scared and who wanted to figure out what
was going on them, Hilton. She was, she was back home.
She was making supper and like, our neighbors and the Fletcher
down the road, a people stayed in our houses, they felt the
that dread but they didn't, theydidn't go to the Town Square.

(36:09):
They weren't they weren't that scared.
I guess they didn't make it here.
They went somewhere, I know it, but they didn't come here.
I mean, you saw only like, man, I bet when we first got here,
only about 100 people got here and now we're pretty much down
to only 50. People left people moved on,
they were tired of starving and just like me, they wanted to Go

(36:29):
make money somewhere. Some of them still came back but
others didn't. I don't know where they are, are
people? I mean, they're everywhere.
They're scattered to the wind and if I'm to understand what
you're telling me a fair sent them out, just kick them out of
the plane. Like just like it was the
easiest thing in the world to do, huh?
Remove every living Soul. Why, why would she do that

(36:49):
higher? I mean are way of life was
uprooted. Families cracked in half.
I I haven't even heard from his Hilton.
I don't know where she is. Um, I I know it must be hard for
you and it is, um, I spent a long time myself mad at ether,
when she sent me away from the plane and I held on to that for

(37:13):
so long and it can that rage just at her in a way consumed
me. But she's I realized really, she
was all I had left. I, I want to grip onto the life
and the power and the life that we've Lived and the more I hold
on to that the closer to home and making things better.

(37:34):
I feel I I don't know what happened and I I wish the
goddess has been better but I still want to get that home back
and that does include you know, her and everything else.
Listen bro, and Monty reaches ata week are and sort of patch you
on the shoulder. You're not alone anymore.

(37:54):
Um, I I know how you felt. I know how you feel relying on
ether, is the only person left, but that's not true anymore.
You've got me, you've got tick, you've got our, well got good.
Decent number of our city, our village all here, and they're
here and they, you can rely on them.
They're here for you higher. If you just rely on ether,

(38:15):
you're gonna be let down the same way.
I was something's wrong at home and the mundane plane, something
went wrong and she never spoke to any of us.
And I, the fact that she's stilltalking to.
You means that, I don't know. Maybe you're special.
But shit, if she well she didn'ttalk for us, thus, for so long
that I just assumed, we would never go home.

(38:36):
This is our home now. What a deep?
I mean it's a cool place, right?I like their accent and I don't
know. The food here is pretty good.
There's so many people. It's sort of interesting.
The only thing I can't get over is well, where's mom?
He's sort of looks down and you see his eyes start to tear up.
Just making any sense. Yeah, they're actually is really

(38:59):
good, but I, I know we'll look for her.
Okay, that can that can be a newpriority.
Um, I'll message her. I can, I can do that.
Monty nods. His head and looks up at you and
gives a weak smile. And you see the water run down?
Is yellow scales as he responds.Yeah, that that would be nice.

(39:23):
Let me know what happens. All right, if we can just get
our family back, you know, maybefind Splash and I don't know,
find everyone, we love then, then I would be happy to call
this place home. It'll still take some time to
get used to all the emotions stuff, but I'm done with ether.
I'm done with ether. I'm done with the mundane plane.
They let me down and I don't want to go back and he turns his

(39:44):
head and sort of slumps to the side.
You you Mom and tick and squash. That would be enough for me too
and I'll just I guess just sit with him his Inked.
And turn over here. A sort of Saw Echo out from him
again, as he quietly, wordlesslycries, and hear a loud.

(40:06):
Obnoxious voice from the corner of the room ring out Jesus
fucking Christ. Can you guys shut up about your
fucking family and shit? I'm trying to sleep.
It's just like you man sleeping at night, you know, everyone's
got a family, right? So it's like boohoo, you're not
special. I don't even know who my mom is.
So I'm in a much. What?

(40:26):
I, I think it's hard for us. I guess I'll just like give
Monte a hug as I scold malagos. It's hard for us because we
remember our parents. And so like it's like, wow.
We remember like, how like they were.
And so then it's like to not be with them.
That like, feels bad. Oh wow.

(40:47):
Look at this guy remembers his parents saw.
I wish I could remember my parents, you're the lucky one.
Yes, fuck. Sorry, he's so bad.
Yeah. I thought weren't you weren't
you weren't you sleeping? Go to bed?
Yeah, that's right. And as you guys are yelling um,
or a face you and do them walk in, we're going to be late

(41:11):
today. Are we need to go now?
I pulled the blanket off fell again, you got Right.
Okay. Are you look like you've been
crying? He's been pushing out all after
noon. God just a bitch smell like us.
It's all I tired. We're gonna eat good food and
you don't have these feelings anymore.
All right guys, let's go. Let's go.

(41:32):
Go. Oh, well or a face, I was
supposed to tell you. You wouldn't do them are Jaya
went to the bar with able to look for pirates.
These people. Okay, we're Stables went to
Samson. Oh my God, Samir.
I look at severe. And I'm about to say, your son

(41:54):
is such a slot and then I stopped talking okay.
Oh, expression on his face. Hi, could you send to them and
tell them to look, what time is it in sarcastic show?
Oh, what time is it? Okay?
Um in sarcasm which is just ever.
So slightly off of the material plane, you conclude that it's

(42:14):
about 4:45 p.m. it's about the same around 4:45 okay we
probably have an hour and 15 minutes to get there.
So we're not actually running that crazy late but maybe hired
could you send to Jaya and do them and Higher and moles and
ask what time they'll be home and remind them.
We have a commitment tonight. Yeah I can do that.

(42:38):
Thank you. What the fuck you may add hour
and 15 minutes you eat dinner? At 6 p.m. or Affairs?
Are you fucking Grandpa Jesus. I turned to whisper to Samir is
that early or late? Oh, I think it's a very rational
time, but most find dining places would probably settle.
For more of a seven o'clock. Oh, okay.

(42:59):
Okay, did flexi give you a time?Yes, we're all here with me and
we were told, I don't think we got to time.
Feel free history check if you want.
I look at Doom. Here, early, leave late.
Or we just like, wait around forhim, Mason does still remember a

(43:20):
time. Oops, sorry, I didn't catch
that. Um Doom you had with your
perfect memory. Do remember that according to
flexi you guys can simply quote stop by whenever and he would be
available he would make us Rush. Then I You know, we've got time,

(43:41):
right? So should we go get Jaya?
I mean at least know where I fucking know works.
The most is pretty boy lived. Okay.
Yeah, let's walk to meet Shia. All right.
So then does the group of you guys want to head out Monty sort
of waves to You Higher and goes?I think I'll stay back.
Just rest a little more. I look after tick, we'll be okay

(44:01):
and it gives you smile. It would be a good meal.
Yeah. I, I know, I just, I'm not ready
yet. Um, and besides we need to talk
more about what you're asking. I I just yeah, yeah.
Oh, I'll bring leftovers. Then he smiles.
I'd really like that, bro. All right, the group.
If you guys get up, do I have togo, I don't want to.

(44:24):
You don't touch dinner. It's just so much more.
Okay. Stay here then.
Don't get too long lonely. It'll be over 24 hours until
your return. That's true.
Alright. Alright, I get it.
Does that mean we all need to betogether before we can go to
Circus? Yeah, cuz we have the one box at
brings us back and forth. Oh, I'll go.

(44:46):
I'll go, you're right. I like yummy food, maybe we
don't want to come anymore. No, it's not for talking with
you. Yes, malagos.
Come get your rest. Put your shoes on.
Yeah. All right.
Okay. Yeah, he's slowly slips on his
shoes and still stands up and cracks his back.
I'll show you my diet is and he slowly makes his way out.
Good, thank you very much. Empire cast sending to Deimos,

(45:11):
we have dinner with the devil tonight.
Can you meet us at home base? What are you doing?
What are you doing? What are you?
What are you doing? Um, okay.
The most, what? Yes I was about to say demos.
I suppose I have a scene to fulfill with you first but if
you want to quickly respond to this uh yeah.

(45:31):
Um, I'll be done soon and I'll meet you guys at home base.
Yeah, I think, I think that's just what I'll say.
I don't know if it's time to think about 25.
Only demos wants us to wait for him said he's almost done, okay,

(45:55):
do you have to tell him we'll meet him at the bar Giants at
like? No, because I don't want to
waste my spell slot but okay, I guess we'll just find.
We'll meet him back at the hotelafter we get out, that's makes
sense. All right, so then I guess can I
jump back into demos? Demos your your Clairvoyance is

(46:18):
up and You Begin listening in you for a moment, get a voice in
your head is somebody sends you and it sort of interrupts your
Clairvoyance but you push past that and return to this
conversation. Just as you had a moment before,
you've only been in the bathroom, a couple of minutes
and you hear the following first, the sort of passive under

(46:38):
sound of crystal glasses, clinking and utensils touching
together polite, laughter and what sounds like a fire
crackling. Give me a perception check.
Please to listen in through whatsounds like about one wall or
perhaps a door. That's your sensors right out
front of it. Percentage a big seven.

(46:58):
Okay so then you hear the following conversation a man
speaks a very light accent to his voice.
Well a week's time, not even three days and the old Sellers
already yielding tread the 22 nail salons read untouched,
wasteful. If you ask me a woman responds,

(47:19):
he always had a Sentimental streak.
Some bottles are better drink and know there's some soft
laughter from the distance. A third voice, sounds older, but
let's not rewrite. The whole estate of a night, a
little fear. It keeps the neighbor's from
sniffing around to hard. Besides, I rather like to keep
the piano room. Untouched, you hear a murmur of

(47:41):
agreement and a glass. Clinked hard against another.
You hear a quiet snap in the corner of the room.
Hurry up. Now, I'm not gonna waste all day
for you to refill it and then a quiet apology from what sounds
like a servant, a fourth voice, brings up a young man to new
arrangements. Then the lines were drawn, the
inks would drive. The locks on changed, not a

(48:04):
single invitation misplaced and you hear a low chuckle from a
corner, a man Mudders and you miss it the muttering sort of
quiet and lost to the sound of the door.
You hear a loud laugh across thetable.
A delightful laugh. Almost cruel.
Someone else. Speaks up a sort of formal
voice. We did leave him a note.

(48:25):
He didn't? We a sealed envelope.
I sent it to him from the bureau.
Monogrammed, right? We're not monsters.
A louder voice. Chimes in sounds, perhaps half a
drunk. Still think all those one night
stands are going to crawl back. Wasn't there?
Even talk that he picked up something exotic?
Like a beast, some sort of chimera The others all laugh, a

(48:49):
bit, politely a come down, multi, that's not gossip.
Those folks aren't the type to stay where they aren't, welcome,
we should stay Charming. Shouldn't be.
We're not interested in Old attachments.
And there you hear a faint coughfrom the corner.
A small clatter then. And then you hear a crash, a
plate is dropped. And then the woman that you

(49:11):
heard earlier speaks up again, sort of coldly amused, careful.
Dear. That's family.
China older than you age. And you hear a servant, stammer,
and apologize. You recognize the voice.
It sounds like just a wall away.Belvedere is speaking quietly.
Apologies Miss, I'm sorry, and the half drunk, man, sort of

(49:33):
cuts in and goes I like this one.
Keep shaking like a tuning for. Say what was your name again?
You hear a quiet reply to do Master?
No matter, not forget it. Anyway you hear a low chuckle,
across the group and then footsteps?
Someone opens the door that you're right in front of and

(49:53):
here's someone go let them go. We still need the hands to serve
dessert. The half drunk man speaks up and
goes. All right.
Fine and the new hero loud, clanging sound of a blade.
There's uneasy laughter from a moment at this point.
You hear something else closer to you a knock on a door.

(50:14):
There's my knocking sound. Oh, that was good.
What did you not? Oh the nightstand.
That's pretty good. It was a good knock.
Ya. The guard out front of the
bathroom having trouble in their, you need Neo, been a
minute, heard the sink already. Oh, oh, sorry.
I see, you know, grief does strange things to the, to the

(50:35):
stomach. Right.
Well, um, hurry up. Yeah, I got things.
I gotta do, right, right. Um, I guess he must finish up,
then. Yeah, all right here.
The tail end of a conversation as someone goes.
So glad that the Master of the House vacated, it's finally time
we can discuss our plans with the harbor after loud.

(50:57):
Oh my another woman. An older woman speaks up.
I believe that's a conversation.Best left for the sellers was
still a bit too exposed here andyou hear Belvedere squeak out.
Oh yes, sorry Mr. Sorry Besides the woman continues, black stuff
Tower, hasn't fully aligned withyet.
Someone else adds the tower willfollow with the cattle does and

(51:20):
all the castle needs is a pinch of doubt.
We planted we watered it blooms. And a calm voice rings out.
Yes. I understand syndrome.
You need to leave it alone as I told you with Master Alnwick.
Thoroughly Uninvited. We have all the time in the
world to figure this out. Just wait.

(51:41):
And at this point you hear the lock jiggle outside the doors.
The guard goes right, there it up us, I'm coming in.
Oh right the most will Finish upin exit.
You finish up an exit. The guard looks at you with sort
of a angry expression goes what fucking took you so long?
I was beginning to think you trying to break it again.
Animal break, break through the wall.

(52:03):
Is I, I can't believe you to accuse me of such a thing, and
then I'll be the most is gonna try to like accidentally, like,
bump into him, so that he drops there.
All right. Give me a, what do I want from
you? I suppose like a performance.
Check, then Omen the final part of the urn boy.

(52:26):
The urn Gambit has been great. Really, glad to earn campus.
I'm big 11, the biggest 11. All right, you go to bump into
him. He goes, I watch your fucking
step and he sort of leans back in the iron tips out of his hand
and he goes you fucking pushed me, you got him crashing, hits

(52:49):
the ground and the Ash spreads in the room puffing up in a
cloud of dust. You see him began to cough
immediately and you yourself even have to sort of choked back
a cough as the ash almost cloudsof the room.
But the fuck. What is you fuckin grandpa or
something wrong? What is that?
No Uncle Tom know. Oh my god.

(53:14):
Um, do you have, do you have something I could put them in?
Everywhere. Breathe in, just don't breathe
in. Oh my brother go, go, get
Belvedere, go get velve video. Fuck I should don't go far,

(53:36):
right? Uh, Cassie command yells and
then he turns down the hallway and starts stomping off toward
the dining hall. Oh, is there anyone in the
hallway with me? Right now, you get, um, you get
about six seconds of Silence. What do you want to do in this
time? One action.
Um, the most gonna cast detect thoughts.

(53:56):
Okay, you cast detect, thoughts just text, thoughts comes up and
just six seconds later, you see the door on the far, ending back
to the kitchen open and one of the pastry chefs, pokes the head
out. Oh yes.
Someone cold for me, do you needsomething sir?
Oh my, oh my, oh my God, he's everywhere.
Please help me. So, Oh goodness.
Um, yes, of course one second the sort of mousy pastry, chef

(54:20):
runs back into the room and you hear a cloud ring.
As you quickly runs back in withwhat looks like a large linen
bag and tries to scoop out of the air, the ash through the
tech. Thoughts, you pick up just small
traces of fear coming from this sort of short, stature gentleman
in front of you, nice? Okay, so let me know.

(54:41):
Um, so with the sense thoughts of function, um, I guess I was,
I was kind of wondering to see if I could pick up, I guess, if
there was any any Minds, um, as in like people that's in, people

(55:02):
can think of below the manner below the manor.
All right, you reach around withyour detect thoughts and within
30 feet of you, you Don't sense.Any Minds beneath you?
The only ones near you are the pastry chef in front of you, you
sense a few mingling Minds behind it in the dining or sorry

(55:23):
in the kitchen and behind you. The one guard that seems to be
stomping off quickly. Exits, your range and
disappears. You don't sense, anything,
beneath you okay. All right.
And I'll just I'll just help with the with the iron and and
skedaddle. All right, you help out with the
urn, grab sort of grab as much of it.
As you can. The actual selfish shattered to

(55:44):
pieces on the ground and this pastry chef gives you sort of a
horrified worried look. And again, you've sensed this
fear like really powerful bubbling fear bubble over the
and tries his best to help you after a few moments.
The you guys acquire what I would say is like a maybe like a
few pinches of Ash, it really did spread everywhere as it hit

(56:07):
and you now have made me like one 20th of the amount of Ash
that was in the morning. It just like the air.
Oh my God. Um once you have it now, sort of
in this linen bag you said you want to exit.
Yeah. All right, you flee out through

(56:27):
the kitchen. The other guard sees you and
quickly runs up behind you to catch up, to sort of, try to
escort you out, to make sure youdon't turn the wrong Corner as
you exit you yet again, here, the dinner party, continuing and
the sort of muffled voices, and eventually you make your way to
the entrance, the guard speaks to you as you go and goes, I
listen a message right. The master isn't gonna be back

(56:48):
for quite some time. As I hear there's a quite an
emergency happening at the cash flow.
It'll probably, I would guess a fortnight before to return so,
um, isn't it between us which you might not return until then
just, you know, it's sort of a hassle to look after guests.
And it's just that with the master not here.
We really don't have much to do with you.
Right. You know that's that's

(57:09):
completely understandable. Here a little bit my friend to
go with you. I'm just gonna like hand him
like a Sprinkle of the Ash and then all he almost reaches out
his hands. Like as a typical servant might
then goes. Oh what the fuck.
That's Nasty, what is that? It's my friend.
Oh, Wow. I, you know, I I can't believe,

(57:35):
you know, the service in this manner is Oh anyway nobody wants
that. Nobody I want out.
You know it's it's fine whatever.
I must be sort of looks at you and good?
Yeah. Yeah.
Be off with you and you exit themanner and make your way out
into the castle Ward, while you're doing that.

(57:56):
The rest of you guys are headed to the bar that J is at, right?
Yeah. All right.
You all had out into the early early evening.
It's a quick walk in malaga's knows the way as Jaya and Abel
told him where they were going and eventually you guys make
your way to this bar. Um, it is about this time that
after your long conversation, Jaya you finish talking with

(58:18):
this fine gift Gun, Slinger fella.
Well, he's actually not a gunslinger but there's fine GIF
across from you Colonel. Cast, call him cat.
Colonel Cask. Oh, gives you a nod at just as
you guys had finished your conversation and goes as I was
saying there fella Tusk, you know where to find me if you

(58:39):
need anymore information. In a limit to my drink for
tonight. I'm gonna drink in peace.
Thank you for all information. You give me more?
No, I will Dissolute and then walk away, he nods, and you
slowly exit the building, you see Abel waiting outside.
He's sort of sat down against one of the street lights here

(59:00):
and he seems to have picked up. What?
Looks like a few rocks and just sort of been banging them
against the ground in a rhythmicfashion massaging.
I've been waiting forever. You know what I've had to do?
I have resource to busting the street with rocks?
How would embarrassing of me? Look at this, I have a quiet
four copper pieces. That's what you've left me to.
I'm sorry. They was a lot of information

(59:21):
taking um you know crazy when you're crazy, betrayed him in
your country, betrayed you what happens when your friends
betrayed you left me out here for like an hour?
Goodness sergeant He wasn't thiscountry before he was not the

(59:42):
type to be left alone to my own devices.
You know. I like companies Sergeant
perhaps I should have come in with you but that place still
frightens me a bit. You understand that, you know,
matter, he prayed. So I didn't like, you know, so I
didn't force you to come in withIf I wanted you to be
comfortable. I'm sorry for leaving you alone
for a quiet time. Come on let's let's head back

(01:00:02):
and go back with the group, right?
Thank you sergeant and you sort of nods at you and goes How does
it go in there then he stands upUm got a lot of interesting
information. I don't know.
Seems like I guess I didn't knowwho I was working for.
Really oh you loyalty to something.
You have said, loyalty to a country and they just open you

(01:00:26):
with robots. I mean, wait, you got now Okay,
so I agree that is quite unnerving.
You with robots. You said is that something that
you believe you and Doula might have in common it is being a
robot maybe I should bomb with with dual a little bit more.
I don't really talk that much. It's now Matt's the two you

(01:00:49):
could get along with this. It is quite an interesting
thing, you know, having your people replaced with mechanical
wonders, quite interesting, if you ask me, Yeah, it's a lot
it's almost like we know man or any more.
Come now Sergeant. You matter, you matter more than
I would guess, any robot, of course, not doom.
Doom is amazing and perfect creature.

(01:01:12):
But what I mean, is that they can't just replace you with some
sort of Baht a day. Yeah, you're right.
Who are they to replace? Maybe didn't need me, but I sure
as hell could light up a true, Icould make them really
motivated. I got my speeches.
Great, you see Sergeant, you yourself had a gumption, didn't

(01:01:35):
you? Oh, what gumption, you had that
Pizzazz. You had that sort of bravado
that I'm just gentlemen looks for on a leader in my wrong.
I would say so, I think over theyears, I've been a lot less
confident and so, we're just trying to work.
We're good. And I hope that, you know,

(01:01:57):
reconnecting with this old I suppose the two of you didn't
know each other but a member of your your race.
Remember if your planet reconnecting with him I hope is
aided you in this endeavor, it is.
And thank you so much for showing me this.
And for, you know, telling me about it, you means so much more
than, you know, this is the mostinformation.

(01:02:18):
I've had about my family about my home in.
I mean, ever, since we got here,I've been left in the dark and
so, it feels, I feel like I gotten some clarity.
Of course, Sergeant is the leastI could do now.
Let's not worry too much about the Old Chapin there.
Let's move forward. Eh, I follow his lead.
You were telling me that he gaveyou some sort of direction for

(01:02:41):
where to go next. Oh God, he did but I forgot.
Oh, it looks like you have a bitof a map sticking out of your
pocket. Is that what it could be?
I'm trying to dig into the best of my brain.
I don't remember. That.
Remember what the map was from, but I'll open it.

(01:03:05):
You open a map, it looks to be amap of the Outer Edge of wipe.
It has a sort of trailing path leading into a forest and up
toward a waterfall. You see labeled on it looks like
some sort of advanced radio antenna.
Oh, that's right. So there's way I can get into
communication with my family butI'd have to sacrifice something

(01:03:26):
and he sacrifices his eyes his eyesight.
So it's a lot of things about And we'll Sergeant.
I believe it could be well worthit to look into that this place.
You have to go. I'll head there with you.
We can do it together. Oh look at that.
It looks like a cruise arriving and around this time.
The group of you do them or a face and higher especially you

(01:03:48):
guys. All right to this specific bar
you see Abel and Jaya talking out front tally ho right over
here, the New grounds, a new lease on life.
Something to look forward to anyluck.
Finding your Pirates. Oh, it's my mission to get in
contact I guess. But then I would be blind.

(01:04:08):
So are you know? It could go down to taste again.
That's far. I think I could live with that.
Um, it's worse than you think. Oh, that's so in considerably.
It's maybe we could find a way to donate your whole life.

(01:04:31):
Well, yeah, no but I mean I don't it's actually all your
lost in the bag but I lost my ability to taste food for a long
time covid. Anyways, maybe we could find a
way with the bird and across theparty.
You guys would do that. Of course, we would Sergeant.
Let's split the burden if it's asurprise for all.

(01:04:52):
Just one, six, the blind, I'm already like without the goggles
probably more than one sixth blind.
So I think it did bother me verymuch.
You guys have no one here you guys.

(01:05:13):
It's such a parties for that's right now, you might have
forgotten. We all forgot.
I remembered at last moment. Oh, flexi tonight.
Oh, that's not. I know.
I know I it's just so much. Is happening all the time.
But yeah, so we're gonna go do that soon if he'd like to come

(01:05:33):
with. Yeah.
Table. Do you want some long?
It's of course. I'm ready to get out of this
dingy establishment. This whole dock.
Ward is giving me the heebie-jeebies.
I don't know why. It's just doesn't feel like me.
It was there anyone? Cool in that bar looks really
cool. Was there anyone interesting
inside What do you suppose Sergeant?
Did you see anyone interesting? There is a fell in there with

(01:05:55):
like a bunch of smoke coming outat a hat.
I was pretty cool. Um, a few other rough looking
fellas, like he was smoking a lot or like it was just coming
right out of his hat like I think it was coming out of his
head. Wow she's inconvenient sort of
like his eyes, would be washer and all the time I don't be

(01:06:18):
smoking that much ah you know anyone else higher, the best
Smoker's I know were all men andthat's on God.
It's been the opposite smell like ass.
Actually Nobody chain spoke likean artsy woman in her 20s.
All right, let's keep going. We're just waiting on demos,

(01:06:39):
right? Whereas fucking moles.
Who's fucking most IO ha. Samson right now.
So I think he's doing and he didn't answer.
So, who knows next? Yeah, we knows.
Demos. Yeah, we know.
Who knows? Demos most ghosts.

(01:07:02):
Oh, it's like stopping this bar and get a drink.
Look at the Free be on our way. Come.
Now, if we miss this dinner, we could completely ruin our
relationship with Flexi and that's somebody who I care about
somebody who we know, best to care about those who you've met
than those who you haven't. And right, this guy's needs

(01:07:23):
nothing to me. Let's go.
Alright, you are now then let's be on our way and with that you
guys begin walking back to meet a fine central location to me
demos. You leave the bar and you see a
bit of smoke, pour out the frontand you turn back.
There it goes. It looks to be still inside the

(01:07:45):
bar. You just see a bit trailing at
the front. All right, so the most you flee
the manner and make your way outof the castle Ward and find your
friends sort of in a intermediate location that you
guys all found and all meet backup.
The rest of you guys, sort of walk out of the dock District
able sort of continuing, right? I never want to go back to that

(01:08:07):
direct place. Again, the only reason I wanted
to go back there was to help oldsergeant Jaya out nothing but
done with that. I expect never to see it again.
Well, eventually, before we leftwater, if we wanted to try to
figure out what exactly the burgdid to know who might be coming
for you. Right?
I will maybe but not today of course, or a face, no not today.
But you know, before we really watery I'm sure we'll go ask

(01:08:29):
around about the birds figure out as personal connections to
him. That's sort of thing.
Sure. Yes, of course.
Sounds good. And with that demos you join up
with the group. I like to think the the party
just sees a take in Ash demos, just running along the street.

(01:08:49):
He's okay, he's good. What the fuk happened to that
guy? All right, so you guys are all
together now Deimos you made back up or the most.
How did it go? Is everything?
All right. Oh oh my God you guys are here?
Um no actually um there's um actually let's let's get to

(01:09:12):
circad before we talk about anything.
Things are crazy in this town. Oh sure.
Yeah, I I'd be happy to go to sarcastic.
We're going to dinner, right. Everybody ready?
Ready to? I look right.
I straighten my goggles. Do I look good?
I'll start trying to beat the Ash off demons in the road.

(01:09:41):
Earn your boss earlier. May be I might need to put just
a new one now. Um, I the last one broke, I
don't know. I mean, he made it this far
without one, that's all. Right of deceiving definitely is

(01:10:06):
gloves of thieving, you know, I think we've all agreed on that.
That's what it is. Never stole and never going to
steal one time. You guys tried to tell me to see
and I didn't Okay. Okay.
Let's get on with this. All right.
So or a face you pull out to theBox.
You want to press the button, I do a headcount.
As anyone missing you look around.

(01:10:27):
Looks like everyone is here. Looks like, or is I'm counting
and smile? Again, There's still them.
There's some are, there's moles,there's higher, there's Jaya, we
have quite a few people, don't we?
Oh, and there's able. All right.
I press the button. All right, you press it in a
minute goes by. If you guys all hold hands, I'm

(01:10:47):
getting sick of tired of holdinghands like this, just weird.
You might says, I mean, it's notlike anyone has to touch
Malika's hands, so that's fuck you, fuck you manager, do you
think you're Taking like, if I touched you and I got frozen and
then J attached. Me what he gets.
Frozen idea because like, you'd think you know, If everyone got

(01:11:11):
frozen, then nobody would be frozen.
Yeah, you know what I mean? No, sort of like society that
one. Doesn't make any sense at all.
They don't have to be hateful about her face.
Just an answer to say, well I guess I'm gonna spend all night
thinking about that tonight. Thank you.
She somebody is nice. This in this world. all right,

(01:11:35):
so then as you finish that, you all hear a popping sound And
then the sucking of the universearound.
You is plain shift in the Squareteleports you all back into
circad waterdeep disappears around you and your throne
through space and time until youappear in circuit.
Think sir quiet. It's an early evening here.

(01:11:56):
You see, a few specs of people walking around the upper levels
of circad and the tides haven't come in yet.
So the grease pits are still a bit active.
You've seen some sort of down ontheir luck salesman and snake
oil salesmen trying to Pawn off their ways to some of the people
who simply passed through the grease Pits on travel from Tower

(01:12:16):
to tower. All right, you guys what I be
line it to fixie? Yeah.
Yeah. Oh we're walking as well because
I think I Wished her pretty much.
Like I can do it but on the trials that I'm tying the tires,
we go, good idea, higher. All right.
How are you put on the Frog? Costume demos is properly,

(01:12:37):
dusted. All And you guys had to flick
seize. The walk is very uphill as it
were literally climbing floors upon floor, and you guys all get
a bit winded as you reach the seventh of the second tower away
from you. All you trouble Crossing some of
the bridges and are no pretty familiar with the layout of
Circa that you can travel between places pretty easily.

(01:13:00):
You pass by a few shops and you see up in the distance?
What looks like the sort of dreary remains of his average is
shot front with what looked to be a few guards, stationed out
front to doing work of removing it as well.
You also see above you, the quiet glow of jackknifes bar, as
you finally make it to the top floor flixiz restaurant, the

(01:13:23):
torch and tortoise. Tea Room seems to be open for
business. The all too familiar.
Now, of hosts of the, of the establishment, gives you guys
all look and he goes, oh, not you guys again.
What do you want? You're the one who invited us to
dinner here, literally. Yes yesterday.
Oh yeah. I just didn't think you were
gonna come through with it. All right, so many people have

(01:13:45):
been running around looking for really driving me.
People live in running around looking for us.
Yeah, Jack and I came running around she was asking if you
guys are nearby said it was downat Mason, you're cutting out,
I'm sorry. Yeah, I jack knife.
I think she owns one of the shity restaurants nearby was
running around looking for you guys said it was some sort of a
shit, okay, we'll be back, maybein like 20 minutes.

(01:14:07):
Wait, are you here for 60? Are you, are you making go to
that dinner reservation? Of course, but you just told us
about my friends was looking forus and said it was an emergency.
So, All I think we need to go see her really quick.
God, dammit, don't focus on that.
The Master's been looking for you guys.
He was wondering if you were going to show up or not.
Well, tell him we'll be here in Tulum what time?

(01:14:28):
Is it a little past five? Okay, we'll be here at 6:30
sharp. Okay yeah.
All right sure whatever. I'll get a spot set up for you
guys. Good to see you then know it's
his head and bids you guys to do.
You guys walk out the door. Now heading back.
Yeah knife. You guys descend the steps once

(01:14:51):
again. Track passing on to another
Tower nearby and eventually makeyour way to jackknifes bar.
The bar seems to be open and youalready see a few customers
Milling about inside you guys make your way inside and tending
bar. As usual is with what looks like
that giant metal arm jackknife. She gives you guys a grand as
you walk in. Hey what's up you guys looking

(01:15:12):
for a drink? Well here there was an
emergency. Oh shit!
Yeah yeah I've been looking for you guys.
I need to have a conversation isfrom their.
Do you back there down there somewhere?
Yes. Hey there you are coming here.
Hop on the bar turn, like in a stool.
You know. That's on top of the box.
Yeah. All right, there.
You want to drink before we get started.
Should I? That's why I'm offering yeah?
Turn. Yeah, right.

(01:15:33):
This one's on the house. She leans down.
Pours. With looks like something out of
a small keg. Beneath the ball and comes up
with a sort of dark. Red liquid.
I don't know if you remember this one, a numb jam.
It was that a competition you guys did?
I'm still selling it, she opposite to you.
I do remember. But yeah, all right I just I

(01:15:53):
recommend taking a few big old swigs of that before we get
started. Whatever.
But why are we doing? Yeah.
What you guys all want to drink?I didn't really think you guys
were all gonna be here for this. You can go get a table if you
want. Where do I set up on the
Barstool? The rest of you guys huddled in
around all holding a little Tankard of numb Jam.

(01:16:13):
The special brew that jack knifemade specifically for the
competition. The drinking competition, only
two weeks ago, time flies. No way.
That was only two weeks ago, what the fuck.
I can't believe it was two weeksago.
Oh my God, it's the ending grind, set.
You guys need to sleep, more jack knife.
Let's you all finish your first glass and begins pouring another

(01:16:37):
as she gets into her store. So before I really get into this
a dulum, do you have anyone who's like, you know, are like
no enemies right now, you know of your person.
Well, we got rid of his average other than that, I don't think
so. That's pretty good.
That's pretty good. Any anything else come to mind?
Well, no singular person, I suppose, my plane wants to take

(01:16:59):
me back. All right.
And I suppose then you are you're more or less in the
clear. She looks sort of around.
As she says this, what do you mean by in the clear?
All right, I'll just get into it.
All right, listen. Um, just a day or two ago.
Um, well, it was, it was two days ago to be exact you guys
remember when you came through here and you killed, you stayed

(01:17:22):
the night. You, you found me the next day,
I was in the sort of Cellar beneath this place.
As ever said, I think knocked meout and still in my arm.
You remember this? Yeah, well, I don't know what
happened and I don't know what you said to Zacks, but I'm
pretty sure you guys killed him.So I don't think this was him.
But well, anyway, some big robotlooking motherfukers came by
here, looking for, and she points a finger with her metal

(01:17:43):
armor and you, oh, how big real big looking guys?
They were looked important and they talked really funny.
Yeah, kind of like how you do. I think they were from
mechanics. They were looking for you.
How many arms did they have? It was two of these
motherfukers. They both had it, was she sort
of thinks back. I think it was six six six arms
each. Oh my god.

(01:18:04):
Oh no. Um, so I guess 12 armsby.
They were real efficient with it.
It's like they were threatening me, but it's like they weren't,
like, gonna hurt me, you know? It was just like, they just sort
of said, like, do you know wherethis Rogue Doula bought is and
I, of course, didn't know where you were.

(01:18:25):
So I said no, and they were justlike real simple with it where
they said, they're gonna check within check in with me, every
24 hours to check to see if I know where you are.
And as long as I tell the truth,I'm fine.
But they said, the second I lie about it and they said they were
gonna know which really scared me, but they were like, we have
no ways of knowing when living creatures lie and that's sort of
pissed me off and because, you know, who really knows that

(01:18:48):
that's sort of crazy. Anyway, I'm getting distracted.
So they're gonna call me again. And, you know, I As long as I
keep saying no, you know accurately then I don't know
where you are the wind, but thenthey said that they needed to
find you and killed a non-. Is that right?
You would destroyed one against orders?
Is that something that happened?Yes, right.

(01:19:08):
Listen. You know, I don't judge you.
I mean, everyone does their own stuff, like?
It's still fine, right? But you know, these guys seem
pretty intense and they said they needed to find you and the
words that kept using word disassemble, interrogates
reformulate. I don't know a lot of nasty
sounding work but it's good because luckily, I didn't know

(01:19:28):
where you are in. Um, here's the thing though.
I, I think when they call me later tonight, I am to say that
I know where you are now just cuz they said, they'll know if
I'm lying and I really not trying to buy 12 arms.
Well, well, you know where I am later tonight.
Um, well, where are you gonna belate tonight?
Should I tell you? Don't say it.

(01:19:49):
Do them. I mean, we're friends, but I get
it, you know? Oh, I see you.
I use I sharing. Okay.
I think I get she sort of looks at you and goes, yeah, it was
not good. I think they, they were looking
for you. They said your last known
location was here and luckily, I'm glad that they're, I don't
know. They seem like they're pretty
efficient people, the two of them.
They they said they don't often come in person for things like

(01:20:11):
that. It seemed really serious.
I was worried about you, I went looking around, seeing, if I
could find you late, you know, that these two things are
chasing after you, they they said they're going to be by here
quite a bit. And here's the thing, they're
gonna ask me if I've seen you and I guess shit.
I guess I have now. Um, so I was thinking, I might
go into hiding, she sort of shrugs and goes, I don't exactly

(01:20:32):
know where I'll go. I mean, bisc upstairs said,
she'd take me, let's be real. I don't really just biscuits to
look after me, so I was thinkingmaybe I go live somewhere else.
Well, I'm sorry that you got. Brought into this if you'd like
you can come with us. Oh, I would I wouldn't impose on
you guys. What's our sergeant Sorry, it's
the she sort of looks over to the rest, you guys is the
dementia, right? It was, it was means that

(01:20:56):
something and then it was coughing.
Um, jack knife, you know. It wouldn't necessarily be an
imposition. We already have some people
staying with us in Water Deep. So if you want to lie, the low
there for a few days, you know, you could view it as a vacation
to the material play baby, send words a Baldur's Gate to the
people, you know, their shit. Man.
That would be awesome. Yeah you think that would be?
All right, you know I was thinking of just blowing my
entire savings on this new thing.

(01:21:16):
The lady of pain is set up a travel between the planes, you
know. Image the material plane before.
The problem you had back then though is that you wouldn't be
able. to take all your All your stock with you.
Well. I'm willing to get out of here.
Just forget that here. I don't know.
I'm, I'm nervous about this shitand it's just like, oh, I just
need to lay low for a little bit, but yeah, I like that.

(01:21:38):
I'll come with you guys. Are we leaving right now?
Because I should go tell this, yeah, what time did they visit
you last night? Um, it's it's the same time
every night. It's 8:00.
And what time is it now? I don't know.
I think it's less than six. We have dinner at 6:30.
So how about you pack up your things and meet us at samir's
place at 7:30? Yeah.

(01:21:59):
Okay. That sounds good.
Okay, and how Big Sky? Say, hi and hope she's doing
well. Sure.
I mean, you can say yourself if you want.
I'm just really busy. I have a dinner to go to uh,
sure. I mean, no pressure.
Ah, and anyway, I'm not even halfway done.
I mean there was there's anotherperson who came here, dulum,

(01:22:20):
you're a popular fucking guy. You know, that I did not know
that you are after the hexa whatever's, the six, six armed
shitheads came here a couple days ago.
Well, they've been checking in because they've been looking for
you, the two of them. They seemed really interested in
you, something about your core. They they needed it, they needed
it back. Just scary to think about
anyway. This other guy came by just

(01:22:43):
yesterday. Also looking for, I didn't seem
like the type to come from your plane.
It was weird. It was like a preacher.
It looked like a person but it was like made out of clocks Like
A Clockwork guy. You know what I mean?
I really don't understand construct so I'm sorry if I'm
being like and offensive here. No, I don't think you are.
I am not very familiar with the creature.
You're talking about it was likematte black and it had a sort of

(01:23:06):
like iron trim a sort of had on like armor, but is any of this
anyway? This this guy can't buy it yet a
couple. The dogs that he was hanging out
with weird, big looking fuckers, scared off, a few of my
customers. Pissed me off.
He also said he was looking for,you said, um, that as fuck, what
was that? I was supposed to write it down,
but I got sort of drunk that daycuz I was scared about the hex

(01:23:27):
or whatever's. He was telling me that he was
looking for you from one to another and like from like an
outcast to another. And he was talking about some,
like flakerie. And I don't know what that word
means. Sort of confused me.
And anyway, he was saying a lot of words that mean anything to
you. Actually quite a lot, you know
where he went. Yes.
Yeah. He said that he, I don't know.

(01:23:48):
It's supposedly his job is like,Taking out corrupted like
Aristocrats weird fucking job. I don't get it but he like,
hunts him down. And that's the thing.
Like supposedly he said his likeclockwork.
Shit tells me has to do that. I don't get it man, really
confusing. Um, Anyway said he was, he was
off to do one of those jobs and he would come back again later.

(01:24:08):
It check in Weak away from to check in only, we're going if
you want to go, I'm sure. Where did he say he was going?
Yeah. He was going to a, this plane.
I sort of hadn't heard of it. Um, it's, I guess a small plane,
but it it's called The fallbacks.
I turned to my party. Have any of you heard of that
plane? No, can't say I have Meaning,

(01:24:28):
their smear shakes his head, we could put a figure out how to
get there. So that brought up my other
problem though. See because I don't know this
guy seemed like maybe he was helpful, I don't know.
He was looking for a less scary way and he didn't threaten my
life as much. I did also, he said he came here
because the the hexagons came here.
He said he's been following themfor a while that he says he

(01:24:49):
thinks they're corrupted just like the the like Nobles or
whatever, who he takes out in his free time.
So he's like, you heart told me yet to follow them.
I don't know, man, it's weird shit.
Messi. It is very unusual.
You see Jack and I just gotten aright right now, he's gotten a
bit more a bit. You could just sporadic a little
more nervous and jumpy. You Can Tell She's been awake

(01:25:11):
for a long time. And you can see now the eye bag
she has and the sort of Twitchy nature of her hand seems to
indicate that she's been drinking a lot of caffeine to
stay away. I just, I don't really don't
want to be attacked by constructing the middle of the
night and those two big looking motherfukers with the six arms.
They looked really scary and I don't know what this guy's about
anyway so he said he would come back here to check in with me
but shit, man. If I stay here then the hexagons

(01:25:32):
are gonna come fucking kill me. So if I leave with you guys and
hide out that I might never see this guy again and he seems like
maybe I don't know. Maybe he could help and fuck.
What should I do? I take so sorry but you in
danger. Um, surely we can deal with this
and help. I agree.
Maybe you come with us and we can try to find a way to put a
note. Do you have his name jackknife

(01:25:54):
that this Clockwork man? Shit.
It was I supposed to ask If we could get his name, we could
send to him. But I'm sure there's other ways
we can take to get in contact. Dylan's idea of a note is
interesting you know just bark. We're not alone in this track
knife. The heck spots, they're not
after Grim walk. Are they a grandma?

(01:26:15):
Why should they be? No?
No calm down. Just take a couple deep breaths
or to say, was if you come with us, we could tell Grimlock to
stay, you know, around keep an eye out for this Clockwork, man.
And if she sees him, she could send him all the way.
Um, yeah, that's that's a good idea.
The problem is that the hexagon fuckers are gonna be by here,

(01:26:37):
and I don't know if someone elseis here, running the places
instead of me, they're gonna askthem and I just don't want to
put me when I was up to this jack knife.
I'm not saying you have Grimlockrun your bar.
I'm just saying she can walk by the store once and I know.
See if anyone's hanging around outside.
I know what I'm telling you these guys, that the six excited
freaks, they were scaring, man, they were intense.

(01:26:58):
They I if I Disappeared. I don't think they would just
give up on this. They'd either find me or find
out who I had stick around for me.
And I just even if she comes by every night, I don't want them
to go after. No way.
I can. I have.
Is there another way? Yeah, I'm sure there is any, I
could leave a note. I like the node idea.
Shit. See Jack and I was looking

(01:27:20):
between you guys a bit nervous. Now I just really I don't know.
I didn't sign up for all this and fuck.
I don't know what's going on. Of course, I suppose for now,
you should just pack up your stuff.
Okay. Yeah.
I'm already packed, man. I could leave, anytime.
I just, all right, I'll just come with you guys and I don't
know, the Clockwork Duty. The, the one that hunts, all the
fucking people who are corrupt, but what are noble job by the

(01:27:41):
way. God damn.
You constructs of being so Noblewith shit, fuck anyway.
Um, he said it wouldn't be back for at least a few days.
So maybe I've got a couple days time to call him down, and we
can figure it out later. I'll go tell Grimlock that I'm
leaving. I, I don't know or a face if I
should tell her to come by here, though.
I just tell her. Don't tell her.
But obviously you know how aboutthis actually pack?

(01:28:05):
All your stuff up? We'll meet you at Grandma walks
place so you and her can talk. Okay, yeah.
Um, I should go do that. I can go talk, it would be best
if I did it alone. I think I understand what the
message. She loves you, guys.
Okay. Well, let me show outside then,
okay? We're just in the back room.
You see her run to the back roomshit man.
You got fucking fans do a lot. I thought we ditched those

(01:28:26):
posers. I thought.
So too much about this Clockworkman has anyone Seen anything any
sign of him around? I don't know.
I don't recognize him at all, but if you brought up a factory
and then perhaps, he's another Doom, bot Clockwork.
That's unusual. You don't yet have a lot of
clockwork things being made anymore.
It's a bit old fashioned and they don't use a lot of magic.

(01:28:47):
It's dangerous and can fall apart.
I think If I do mbot. Wouldn't have described him as a
Clockwork, man. Well, just look up here, you
know, I look at some years. Well, sometimes it can be hard
for people to distinguish. Samir frowns, and stop talking.

(01:29:10):
What was what was that? Okay, maybe I don't know.
I okay. But for now, Jack can I say when
we trash Grimlock? The babies trying to pull.
My tape dispenser off my desk, she evil mode.
Full mode. Is there anything else we
should? You can think of, to a way to

(01:29:31):
leave a message to this Clockwork, man.
Maybe now If I Was A Clockwork, man, I myself would leave a
message for this Doom right here.
I mean, what's the point of coming here?
Just to say, oh, by the way, I'mleaving immediately, you could
come find me if you want. How crass.
We think of this was important to him.
He would leave some way of contact.
That's actually pretty insightful.
Able we should think, how would the Clockwork man?

(01:29:53):
Have left. A note for Dylan.
I agree. I don't think about that.
So, we investigate the bar in, You know, do them, it's never
something I've read. So I'm not very up with it.
But and one of those books that I think you have, they talked a
bit about Clockwork people on the few pages.
If you want to look more specifically, I'm not you recall
dual I'm having sort of harsh through those books.

(01:30:14):
There are some mentions of clockwork people at least like
constructs made of clocks and it's something that you can sort
of recall from skimming it, but taking a closer look Worth the
book. Pop it up on the bar.
Push your drink aside. Begin thumbing through it.
Give me a quick investigation. Check While he does that.

(01:30:36):
Is there anything you guys wouldlike to do?
Um, I'll help do them 18. Macy's.
Dying Keepers. Creeper Macy's, dying.
It's been proven. Are you still sick?
I'm still coughing. I like the way you said that,
Carter. Are you still sick?
What the fuck it is? It is so supremely evil.

(01:30:59):
I like I feel fine, but I'm still golfing.
All right, it's an 18. You quickly thumb through it
dulum. Looking for a page specifically
while you're doing. So you hear the noise of the
bar, sort of quiet now that the bartenders gone people have
gotten a bit confused and you see a few people standing up and
sort of wandering out of the barwith drinking hand, Malika

(01:31:21):
speaks up. Listen, I feel like if I was
some Clockwork guy, I would justlike, you know, turn on dial and
that's how I go. So is that, is that anything?
Can we work with that? What could That possibly.
Meet you Matt. Let me tell you what I was
really think I Think we stake this place out.
We know two of those hexagons motherfukers are coming here
tonight at 8:00. Let's blow flexi off.

(01:31:43):
Turn this place into a fucking death trap and kill him.
Yeah, okay so I like that, we'rethrowing out ideas, but let's
have some other ideas. Yeah, death strap.
That's just arm this whole fucking Tower to blow father,
Lucius couldn't get it right. Let's do it.
We could always start doing them, but I think that they

(01:32:04):
would just send more. Also, there are two of them and
they're six armed, right? Which means they're even
stronger than the nine armed. One was and their student, but
we've got lots more people now and are stronger.
Sort of, that's true, but I don't know if we could with this
little prep time. Oh I do think we have to attack
them eventually because it feelslike now we've ended your jack

(01:32:27):
knife but I agree maybe not tonight.
I agree, but like I said before,I do think that even if we do
dispose of these two, they wouldsimply send more.
If not even stronger ones after what choice do we have, but to
destroy them. That's why I suggest us doing
something else, besides destroy them.
All right? And do them.
You find the page you're looking.

(01:32:47):
This is in the book. That is titled.
It's the one that is on the biology and the intermission of
constructs. This textbook is full of all

(01:33:08):
sorts of descriptions of different creature types.
You remember, this is the one that you found a small blue
print, that described like General shape and size and
structure of an auto gnome just like looking into it.
You saw some of the like names of your mini pizzas and this is
also the one that you discovered, what a core that is
not corrupted, is supposed to look like toward the end in a

(01:33:30):
section titled. Miscellaneous Constructors, you
find fully mechanical Clockwork, constructs it describes, its
almost in like, an academic, these creatures.
There are a lot of seem to be tabs and what looked like bullet
points of descriptions. The Clockwork man is powered by
either a wound, a spring core oran oscillating piston Drive,

(01:33:52):
they have no magic in their bodyat all, they are fully
mechanical primary, use cases are for labor, surveillance
Guardsmen ship or high-risk industrial roles, they're
discontinued so that makes them extremely rare.
Just continue mostly due to costinstability.
And generally just obsolescence better creatures that you

(01:34:13):
harness magic such as yourself and pretty much every other
creature. And mechanists are more common
nowadays as they're less prone to failures.
The Clockwork man. Are marvels of pre magic,
engineering interlocking, gears Pistons, pressure coils, ten
Styles Spring's. They can't, they contain no one
chance ruins or magical, circuit.
Its Behavior is wholly dependenton physical mechanical

(01:34:37):
programming and coded via punch punch cards, or Cog stacks.
You learn a little bit more about them.
They are sort of governed by their punch cards that are
punched into their head, which gives them the personality.
Well, they can't be changed by physically removing them, no
other way. Is there known to change the

(01:34:58):
personality of a Clockwork man? Meaning that through lived
experience is a Clockwork man will never change their opinions
or personality, about anything, whatever is built into their
head, is exactly what they know.First of those means, that
complex commands are pretty rarebecause of the Punch Cards.
It's a lot of easier to do much more simple commands.
This means that they're awareness is pretty much purely

(01:35:19):
through sensory input that's processed through the mechanical
relays and just loop back to their personality Punch Cards to
see if it works or not, you scroll through it a bit.
It's a bit interesting for you. Do them learning about these
creatures. It's the kind of thing that you
wouldn't have normally seen in mechanists this, being a very
obsolete form of Technology, it's not as perfect.
As the creatures of mechanism isnot as efficient, but it's sort

(01:35:41):
of like a, you know? A human looking back at us sort
of monkey. Whoo, replace for being
financially unviable. Obsolete and inept real, there
are a few historical footnotes on this, one of them seems to
link that um the last remaining Clockwork men are usually found

(01:36:05):
as forgotten custodians or lost experiments.
A few are found in music Across the material plane.
There's a footnote that reads because of their non-magical
form many scholars debate, whether Clockwork man are
capable of complex thought memories or persistence.
And therefore, believe that Clockwork man are in essence,

(01:36:28):
not live in, not even close to living.
And in fact, compared to you do them, it seems that they are as
good as rocks. Such theories are speculative.
They're just one final line at the bottom that lists that most
Clockwork men seem to carry withthem.
A number of small Trinkets and gadgets, that all Clockwork man
are born with one of these itemsincludes a small Clockwork

(01:36:49):
spider each of the carry around these Can relay information back
to them and it is known that pretty much all Clockwork, man,
found that are still alive. And in function today have two
or three of these small creatures that are able to
Nestle within the main and existas just a small part, and that's
the end of it. What did you find?
Apparently, these creatures seemto be even less complex than I

(01:37:12):
am. That must be pretty hard Zinger.
Sorry to all them bad timing. I'm not sure what description
uh, I was thinking I was sort ofreading over your shoulders and
they helped hey, the guy who jacked I spoke to sounded very
complex. I agree.
I mean, he was an assassin who also was making moral judgments.

(01:37:34):
That's pretty high level stuff. I think so too.
Maybe we both had something similar happen.
Yeah, he sounds like an interesting guy for sure.
But do them. Do you think you could lie
yourself with someone with that career?
Oh, someone taking down corruption.
Corruption. I was thinking of Such.

(01:37:59):
Small. Well I assumed that this
creature is doing the same thing.
I am almost eliminating chaos for lawfulness, okay?
no, I suppose, I could be assuming incorrectly know Here's
assumptions. Sounds, right?
I think not every rulers are. Good ruler, you know, makes me
could have used a deposit. So, Which meet this guy at the

(01:38:20):
very least. I agree.
That's more than a depth. Yeah yeah if You share pieces of
the Same Soul, you're sort of like brothers, Wright, brothers
or parts of the same person to give you and how you want.
Well, either way, what's clue? There's a chance that he left
one with spiders behind. Oh, hey, there is like A big

(01:38:43):
bugs and webs and jackknifes basement.
When I was crawling around down there, remember?
Oh, I don't know if that's was that, but we should look around
in here first, but it's it's a lead.
I kick off the bar and start looking for spider.
Clear, he jumped you jumped down.
You start moving around the roomor face.
Oh, I Oh, if it's all right. Little ball rolling.

(01:39:07):
This by spiders. Yeah, I'm just go ahead and
roll. Oh yeah, really bad roles.
I'm so sorry. 18. Right 18.
Yeah, that's pretty good. You look around jotting down,
what you see in your head, you see someone clean bar, customers

(01:39:28):
are still mulling about and you sort of maneuver around them and
you take a good 10 minutes to look around the entirety of the
bar before you finally find a spider web.
And one of the Far Corners of the room, it looks long
abandoned though, that's very old old spider web.
Here's what I know about spiders.
Do them. I know about insects a bit

(01:39:49):
because I used to build them forOdyssey because you know they
add life it's not important. The best practice.
When you have spiders in your house is to leave them
unbothered so long as they're not bothering you because
they'll keep away more spiders. That could be a problem.
So I'm thinking if this spider who was here disappeared, it

(01:40:09):
could mean another spider has taken its Niche.
So that's make any sense I thinkso I don't show, it could be
evidence. There's a mechanical spider
about here. Do you think he could have known
where our older and was very possibly?
I it sounds like Jack and I really trusted him.
So I think she would have told him things like that and
upstairs I guess I go with you. All right, you guys make your
way up, stairs up the stairs, you find a small Corridor with

(01:40:35):
Hugh doors on the side. It looks to be a bit of a
waiting room and front of something that's hastily
scribbled on circuit daycare, which was with what looks Like,
children's crayon. What do you guys looking for are
room? We stayed in recently you Wander
over and eventually find it. You um, on occupied and looks

(01:40:56):
like it's making your way inside.
It's dark. You don't see anything
immediately. Please give me an investigation
check if you want to see more. Oh yeah. 21.
You look around the two of you, nothing seems that out of place,
unusually. The room was fairly clean.
You find a bit of grasp of what looked like, read along the
ground, like from club and tossed aside.

(01:41:17):
The only thing that does stand out to you and hear that sort of
propped up on one of the high Wards slightly overhanging.
The side is what looks like a Fresh Linen towel.
You guys do not remember towels.Last time you were here, in
fact, you have to bring your ownout of your own bags.
I'll just threads on the floor. What color are they?
It looks slightly yellow, okay? Are they sticky at all?

(01:41:38):
Or just like clothing fiber. You pick them up and sort of rub
between your finger. It's just like around this time.
Jackknife exits. The back of the bar then what?
Looks like a large suitcase in either hand, large mechanical
hand, hold two or three suitcases.
The other simply smaller bag andshe looks out again, a bit
anxious. At the group of you still
standing down at the bottom of the bar.

(01:41:59):
All right, I'm ready. I'm ready to go.
Um, where should we go? You guys, do you like to go to
dinner with us? What?
You're invited me to dinner. Yeah.
And um you know, this wonderful man named the flexi.
Oh shit, at the restaurant, a couple steps up.
No shit. Fuck that.

(01:42:20):
What, what if someone jumps me there?
I it's way too close to the bar.I need to go into hiding.
You guys, if you need, if you'regonna go to dinner, fine, but
I'm gonna go, don't you be saferwith us?
But, I mean, that's actually a good point.
I mean, I guess you guys are pretty Off.
Um, huh? What is your mullet over?
You are best, protect you. Yeah, right, you've convinced
me. That's a good point.

(01:42:41):
Yeah, I'll come to dinner with. Um, let me just store all this
stuff. I need to go talk to Grimlock.
Anyway, um, you said 6:30 at therestaurant, right?
Yeah. Okay.
She knows I'll meet you there. Uh, would you mind closing up
the bar for me? Thanks, and she runs out the
door. Be safe.
Chase, look at the Jets. On that lady.
You think someone spoke to her? Yeah, no we did.
Um, oh, I guess the, I guess therobots.

(01:43:05):
Did you close out of our? I should just throw it on the
floor and call it a day. Now, I guess you go to bars a
lot. Should you know this?
Well, it's true. I do stay to the end a lot, but
that's like, do I have to know? It's okay, I'll do it.
I got this. I got this.
Oh, and I'll do it. Oh, do you know how to do this?

(01:43:25):
Um, yeah. I'll give you my best shot.
Um, terrified. He maybe try to find a key for
like cash. Register sort of mine.
Yeah. Yeah.
All right. Would you give me like a a I
think I just want like a generalInsight check on how exactly to
do this maybe wipe down a littlebit as well.

(01:43:46):
Mmm, you know, type shyt. Um, huge 2422.
Yeah, that's really good. Okay.
You sort of Judge and base your guesses on what you're familiar
with and you eventually do find a sort of way to shut down the
cash register and you sort of gather the last cache that all

(01:44:06):
the customers had to give in andall the looks like General
dentists of the bar solely, creep their way out as you.
Slowly move him on out. Clean down the bar, so clean up
some glasses. It feels good.
Wow, that could go higher. You're looking great.
Okay. Yeah, I was just gonna say, get
me and demo. Say a glass of red wine while
you're waiting. Why are you know you're working?
No. I'm I, I'm working.

(01:44:31):
Jack knife. Trusted me fuck you mean no, I
just I was just cleaning up as the thing malagos so answer
really can't really poor you another drink, you know.
All right. You do not say no to me you
bitch. Um don't say it again.
Oh, don't say it you know Alex maybe you can just have a bottle

(01:44:53):
that way. I don't have to clean up.
Yeah, there we go, at a boy. See that's a that's a bright
ladder right there. Um God, I guess, is there such
thing as a disposable cup. Unfortunately, not in this bar.
There seem to all be glasses. Okay, never mind.
I, I say that and I'm like, oh never mind that sounded like a
bad idea. Oh pour him like a I'll pour

(01:45:18):
out, my water flask like wash itout and then give it to him
filled with alcohol. Ah there we go.
See that's a good lad right there.
I hear this is called the um jam.
Yeah, yeah. I like this.
This is good. You're a good lad.
Thank you. He takes it and cheers.

(01:45:39):
You haha felt like I had no choice.
Oh, don't say it like that. Like it's some big thing.
Hot, you like a good laddy, helping up in a friend out.
Mmm. You want to see you want to see
flexi again a knee braided. I don't want to see him at all.
That's why I was trying to get out of this.

(01:45:59):
Yeah, oh well, that's not happening.
Yeah, I know think of it. If we don't go, he'll probably
hunt this down and be mad at us.Like going, you know, there's a
chance. He won't be mad at us and try to
kill us. If we never came here.
He'd never tried to kill us though.
So, what the hell, the rules we've been giving the Oh, wanna

(01:46:23):
world. Oh All right, back upstairs.
Do them and Orpheus. What you guys want to do, I want
to pick up the tiles. I stand in this room already in
someone's hotel room right now. Look at one here.

(01:46:43):
You pick up the towels and do them and they look nice.
In fact, you sort of plump one up and it's like a fresh towel.
It feels really soft. And in fact, it looks like it
might have never been used before.
You look down now, just looks like a normal piece of wardrobe.
Can I do something a little bit weird?

(01:47:05):
Sure. How weird.
It's not that weird. I want to smell the towels.
You hold it up to your nose and smell.
Give me a perception. Check.
Okay. Smell it smells like fresh cloth
cotton. It smells nice.
No sense on it. No bath smells.

(01:47:26):
It smells fresh and new are justthere.
Something. You're looking for specifically.
Hoping you it smelled like someone we know because like
Loki people's towels really smell like them you know.
Sure this smell this towel. Truly smells like it as it is
never been used before. Okay.
Never mind not worth it. I'll put the towel back down.
Well, I guess maybe they don't like being away from their

(01:47:50):
spiders. Maybe we should just go back to
first principal and I start looking for clocks on the walls.
All right. You start wandering around
looking for clocks on the walls. You first find yes or no.
Thank you. Your first find in this room.
There seemed to be no clocks moving your way out to the area

(01:48:10):
as a whole in the whole way you find none here.
Either wandering her way down tothe ball.
You look around and sure enough. There is one clock up against
sort of the back of the bar. It's a simple clock.
Nailed to the wall and looks like the time stopped quite a
long time ago. It's not working.
And I read the time you look up,look at it, looks to have been

(01:48:31):
Than 25 stop with my perfect memory of being in here.
It's the clock worked before youremember back, it's coming back
to you. The clock has worked here before
you remember, it's used to be running.
You're not sure when it broke. What do you 25?
Do you think you said it on? Purpose had to but also can I

(01:48:55):
sort of reach up and try to takethe clock off the wall to see if
there's anything hidden behind it.
You pull in. It feels like it's nailed on the
wall. Pretty hard.
In fact, you look and it's like jackknife very clearly nailed
the outer rim of the clock itself right to the um you do
see though the clock face looks like it could be removed with a
bit of precision, okay. Oh utilizing my gloves of

(01:49:16):
tinkering and some tools. Good pop that baby up right.
You grab some tools, you use your gloves and give me a slight
of handshake. Please.
Yeah. Well 13 plus 5 from the.
Clunking. So 18.
All right, 18. You Interest me reach up and

(01:49:37):
slowly pry off the front face ofthis clock.
It takes some finesse but you see where the seams are and yes
you slowly pull it off. You find a bit of pressure is
released in the clock face sort of flung into your hands.
Oh As you see underneath it would look like tens of feet of
thin, yellow twine and what looks like thread spool out all

(01:50:03):
at once, sort of spewing out from the pressure, the string
goes everywhere, sort of jumpingat you almost and you see
something skidder along the way from moving quickly, out from
underneath it. A small thing go sprinting along
the wall, moving up towards whatlooks like a small crack in the
ceiling. What you guys want to like, yell

(01:50:23):
at it? It's me Doom.
The creature doesn't seem to respond.
It continues. Skittering upward.
Okay, I tried to catch it. I'm gonna kill it.
I'll throw it away. High up above your head, dulum,
how do you want to try to catch it?
Okay, I'll just Vortex. Warpaint to my hand.
Nice. I could throw you at it, I just

(01:50:47):
All right, what's saving? Throw?
Must this creature. Make Khan on Constitution.
All right. Wow, I haven't opened the forge
all day. What?
Just, so confident. There's not gonna be any evil
combo. Look at all these good.
Good little boys in the chat in the fudge.
Only J, isn't it? Here reporting for Duty captain.

(01:51:12):
Ah, give you all good. Boy points.
I gets, reverse inspiration. I get to choose a role and make
it bad. Don't know what to do.
Okay, it's too bad. You go reverse this inspiration.
There's a nine beat it. All right, you grab the
creature, out of the air with text warp and you see it into

(01:51:34):
the palm of your hand, a small golden little spider.
The creatures were you looking pushes up against your palm and
looks around. You see small looks like
mechanically eyes. It's sort of Skeeters around in
your hand. Those skirting back and forth
trying to find an fall off of there.
Seems to be on its abdomen. The back part of its body.
Instead of a wide sort of bulbous shape that most spiders

(01:51:56):
might have used instead. See a long with looks like spool
of mine. A long very thickly padded spool
with lots of gold and thread line on.
The thread seems to course through a majority of the
spider's body running up and down, most of the Mechanicals
and run down too. Long needle, like front arms.
The creature doesn't seem to understand what you're saying

(01:52:16):
and said, it's sort of moves toward the edge of your hand
wrap, very expertly, and quicklyas a piece of twine out of its
abdomen around your finger. And then begin dropping off the
side of your hand. Like a spider might descending
as fast as it can just a few inches.
Every second downward, okay? Like spooling, the red back up

(01:52:37):
and All right, you start spooling, the golden thread back
into your hand. As the creature continues to try
to scoot downward. It doesn't seem to understand
what you're saying. And it, you guys sort of get
stuck in a loop a little bit. Oh, that looks like some sort of
mechanical creature, that's incredible.
Samir, can you help me? See, if there's any way for me
to interact with it. Um could we maybe like put it in

(01:53:00):
a jar or something? One of the glasses higher that
you're cleaning there. Okay.
It's actually my phone won't mind, right?
Okay. With one glass I guess I like
how quickly fire has committed to working in this bar.
And make that he's the best man for the job, baby.
Aren't you passed the glass overhigher and Samir sort of

(01:53:24):
carefully? Cups the glass underneath where
the spiders spooling, and dulum, you sort of lower your hand into
the small jar or rather the beerglass, once it sort of Falls
inside. Samir, walks over the flips, the
thing over, slamming it onto thetop of the bar and the small
spider inside topless to the ground and begins sort of
skating around in a circle you guys all now.

(01:53:45):
See it, the glass clear allowinga vision of each of you to see
this strange mechanical little spider running around in circles
underneath the glass. It's so cute.
I'd say it's hideous and lots people would say that's about
you malice. What the fuck?
It's just not nice. It's just not nice. right now,

(01:54:05):
against I like him like a all the good parts of a spider but
like not like the bad parts, like being a spider.
I couldn't possibly know what the fuck.
That means not a Spider Guy. Malaga I mean higher guy.
I mean you know these ones are like venomous sure.
Yeah and I should not. That is nice I suppose but I

(01:54:28):
don't know. It's still got those like
needles on the front, what it stabs you, you guys watches the
creature inside starts, bundlingup, some of that thread on its
abdomen and look like it begins almost sewing in front of it,
shoving its needle like appendages into an out of small
knots and formula. It looks like a very small
little blanket of cloth within itself as sort of freaky that I

(01:54:49):
don't know if I like that. Um, Doom, is there a language
that your people speak from mechanists?
Not explicit on explicitly? I see.
Well it seems like it doesn't respond to comment if it is just
mechanical then maybe job was towatch you and report back.

(01:55:09):
I just I don't know if it's Master can talk to it right now.
Maybe this is Master contract, it sort of meant to take it with
us and he tracks Us by followingit that could work.
It doesn't seem that violent. I mean all it wanted to do is
get her away from and it definitely looks like it was
trying to just post up. Here, I guess.
Can I do an investigation? Check looking at the spider to

(01:55:30):
see like how it could relay information back.
Like if it's like, I want from you, give me a nature check,
that's what I want nature, but it's not living.
Oh, yeah, baby. Give me nature, or give me death
this. And I've been told by our fans
that we need to use nature checks.
So, that's what we're doing. The fans said that.

(01:55:52):
Yes, that's what my fans told me.
You need to talk against more? Yes, they did.
Got 12, you are inquiring into the nature.
That's what it is. You said at 12, dulum, I'll just
go through my hat in the ring against this ruling.
It's like looking at a robot andsaying nature.
It's the nature of this creature.

(01:56:13):
Explicitly, says, animals livingthings.
Plants trees, weather. Oh my God.
He looked it up. It's on the NBA on.
All right, you looked it up. I understand now, thank you for
your inquiry. Then I for now you can do an
investigation. Check that sounds good.
Okay, 18. Let me look up how this creature

(01:56:33):
works really fast so I can give you an accurate summary of what
you're looking at. All right?
So as you investigate this thing, do them you see along its
abdomen seem to run a number of long thin cords.
They seem to enter a sort of middle section of the creature
and as a sort of skitters around, it's a bit hard to tell.
But with your 18, you're able todetermine that, they do seem to

(01:56:54):
run into it. These chords seem to be wound
up. There seemed to be some
tensional and they're not exactly sure how they connect to
the creatures head. But regardless, it's seems to
somehow be some sort of sensory, additionally, this sort of in
section that sticks out of the abdomen.
Sort of remind you of old fashioned antennas.

(01:57:15):
You yourself, have probably a few of these internally within
your body that help receive any messages that those from
mechanist try to send you such as when you were correspondence
or updates from them. These however, look a bit more
old-fashioned and look you. Some sort of older Technologies
something I can to Magic probably, you're not exactly
sure if this allows both communication both ways, but it

(01:57:39):
does seem to sort of correspond to or face as guests.
That the owner of this creature, might be able to see or perhaps
hear any given time to. It's like a mechanical familiar.
That's Awesome. So what's the move then?
I guess we should take it. Although there's no note saying
that we should, but I feel like that would be the only way for
him to know where we are. I agree with that.

(01:58:00):
It is also possible. I mean he know people were
coming here every night looking for jackknife, it's possible.
He wouldn't have left a note in case they found it.
Yeah, probably wouldn't be good to be like, hey, my name is blah
blah, blah, here's where find me.
Yeah. You don't think he'll be mad
that we stole his will fighter. I think he left here for us to
find and either way, I think if he used it to track us down, he

(01:58:22):
would understand why we took it.I agree.
I guess can start looking aroundfor like a large, like file.
I guess like something like a glass bottle.
Having spent sort of majority ofthe evening.
Now, cleaning the bar higher. You're actually pick one of
these out from under the bar andbe like, Oh yeah, this will
work. There are a few leaded jars that

(01:58:45):
are apps were used for pickling something that are now empty
sort of like mason jar. Whoa, a mason jar.
What? What am I putting in there?
Okay, I want to carefully, put the spider in there and then I
just turned to some mirror. How expensive do you think, you
know, spider in a jar? I would wage at a copper piece,

(01:59:05):
but we're going to see Jack my later tonight, so we could just
ask then I agree. I'll keep it handy, right?
Well, then do you guys want to go to dinner?
I'm starving. Let's go.
I'm excited. Hopefully no chandeliers.
Yeah. They both specifically requested
none. So hopefully hopefully right on
the most no more chandelier I'veheard enough Porter stories from

(01:59:29):
those. All right, I guess I helped
clean up in the group of you now.
All right, all the thread that seem to have been Thrust out at
a fast, you still sort of got some hair.
I'm picking it off my suit, you carefully.
Pick it off and the group of youguys slowly leave the bar
replacing the clock, you know? So, or if I says, place the
clock face back on, with all thethread removed, the small minute

(01:59:52):
hand slowly starts taking away again.
Oh, there you have it. And the group if you guys leave
back out in the outdoor air of circad the evening as seemed to
have begun a bit, the sun is setand the Galaxy is above.
You are slowly starting to increase in Brighton us.
Giving a nice sort of Technicolor glow to the world
around you remembering the time intuitively do Alum, you sense

(02:00:16):
that you guys are still on the earlier side for your dinner,
having not spend Too much time around Jack, knifes bar.
And with this new spider companion, you can go ahead and
add one jar with spider inside to your inventory.
I specifically this is a weavingspider.
With more time with it, you notice that it had 10 legs.

(02:00:39):
Instead of eight this typical eight, legs were moving.
Around in two sort of runt appendages that are just long
needles, the twine wrapped around, so very sick.
Everything back to flix's restaurant, you find the host
with a bit more of a satisfied. Look on his face.
Go, welcome. All.
Welcome to The Tartan tortoise. We've got a room in the back for

(02:01:00):
you. Please make your way in one of
your Associates has already arrived.
That is drawing of complimentaryRefreshments great.
Since when do we have fucking people who know us.
That doesn't feel right. We do know a lot of people, but
but what do we know who this is?I'm not paying attention.
Oh, I remember. We invited jackknife, but did

(02:01:22):
she take us up on you? I think she did.
Right? Yeah, pretty sure.
It's Jack day shit man. How come she's already drinking
in there? I gotta get in.
I guess pushes to the front. I guess she is nervous.
Yeah. What do we showed we're going to
be safe tonight and understand that 60 is offering us a free
meal but I mean I don't know that devil doesn't usually do

(02:01:44):
things out of the goodness of his heart.
You know. I'm better than us.
Samir. What do you think?
It's always an angle. I don't know, high-end command
types, the lady of pain, does itflicks eat?
Does, its average did it? There's nothing for free.
I just before we go in I should warn you all.
Be on the lookout for. I don't know.
He might ask us to do something or pull some of the aside for a

(02:02:08):
private word. I just, I don't know if we're
going to walk away from this completely scot-free, okay?
To us, you know, because it's allies you know, and so maybe he
will try to stop strike up some sort of deal if it's, you know,
beneficial to him. I mean, we did just do him
appreciate big favor. And that was what killing his

(02:02:28):
biggest rival. Yeah.
True. But you notice how he didn't
even help us do that. Like, I don't know if you really
was just as big as rival, wouldn't he have been like a
better part of it. I sort of, like, awkwardly reach
into like behind my suit jacket and spin around my belt to take
out the burning Rock. From a pocket.
Lexi's not all bad. He gave us a gift without

(02:02:50):
anything in return. Oh, yeah, that rock.
Ah, well, maybe it's not a good rock, I don't know.
Is a cursed. Let me check if our cars we did.
It's lost. I can tell.
Well how do you know you've everseen a curse?
Oh, I was cursed. Remember, oh and that's right.
You couldn't taste anything idiot and the most discouraged

(02:03:11):
suckers Cursed by Fate. Sorry guys, while we're talking
about curses, I think Monty is cursed last night.
He was choking again. Yeah, no, he's very much sick
and unwell. Yeah, I mean, I suppose anyone
brought back to life, like, thatwould be, I mean, look at our
face, singer singer singer. I'm on fire.

(02:03:31):
Malgus do not compare Monte Orvis Zinger.
Oh yeah, cuz Monty is so much better looking.
They are. Thinking her.
Yeah. So you guys want to get dinner?
Yes, I'm starving just push, throw.

(02:03:52):
You guys are led to a back room similar to the one.
You went to the first time, you dine tear the one with the
chandelier. However you move a couple rooms
away from it, not the same one but instead another small
private room and this one there is no chandelier instead, there
are many like torch sconces on the wall, all lit with a dull,
orange light, the room looks to have been already prepared with

(02:04:15):
a large circular table. There are Place cards on each of
the plates around the entirety of the width of the table.
You see already sat down and looks like in on her second
drink now is jack knife. She's got her back to the wall
and she waves to you guys. She walk in and gives you a much

(02:04:35):
more. Soothing smile.
Hey guys, feeling a lot better. So God here, invited me to
dinner. But yeah, sure.
Oh God, she's an alcoholic that horse.
That's how we know she's family or if Genetic I'll show you
hate, take pop a seat, you know, affixes really known for his
specialty cocktails. I've always wanted to steal some

(02:04:56):
of those recipes. Not that I would a little
inspiration. Yeah, take a seat anyway, I
think it's all open seating. You guys make your way in a few
of you see Place cards in front of you guys all sit in your mind
spots, it feels really foolish is my side spot next to malice,
you look know it seems your science.

(02:05:17):
Spot is next to doom on one sideand jackknife on the other that
you do look over at jackknife and she doesn't look to be
sitting in a seat label. Jackknife hers looks to be
labeled jaiah. I think that's giant.
Oh shit, were you sitting here before I?
Sorry shit. I didn't mean to know.

(02:05:38):
I think there's All right. No worries that.
I mean we can just swap. Yeah, you're gonna die.
Yeah, yeah. Well there's one for a reason
though. You see?
Maybe he plans to drop the chandelier on.
Oh god. Oh, just kidding.

(02:05:58):
Oh, I'll take my ass and see Samthinking.
That my options are pretty much either.
I trust that nothing bad will happen to me in my seat or I'm
trying to make the bad thing happen to someone else.
Should we ask, is there not a seat for Jack?
Jackknife, like, do we need a full over here?
We might need to pull up an extra chair.

(02:06:19):
No, no, we're good. I'll just stay in this scene.
Well, I just think we should handle this early.
We don't want to make flexi mad.Malik is sort of slides on Up To
You, Higher and goes look like we're setting together.
All body. Nice, I'm pushing you under the
chandelier. If it's coming for me, wait, oh
no. This is good because it looks
like I'm right between you and demos.

(02:06:40):
So if you try to save demos, you're just gonna save me first.
Say, other way for you demos, I'm sort of in the perfect spot.
I'm Kush. Well, nothing bad is going to
happen tonight. So the there's no need to worry.
Really. I think we can all just relax.
Oh yeah, I plan on it all bartender.
One more of whatever Jack kniveshaving.
You know we'll get to Cowboy. He Grins and pets on the back

(02:07:03):
higher. You guys all having had one
sometime maybe two depending on the how long the story was
drinks earlier tonight at Jack and I was already put all of you
guys in a small liquid mindset or is it through that?
I was not intending to drink it as far.
Oh, what are you a pussy know? I just I want to make a good

(02:07:24):
impression on fleksy. But didn't you already make a
first impression on him when he dropped a chandelier on you?
And I feel like I'm in the VIP spot because I've got the two
people who jump in front of other people to save them next
to me. So you can be fine over there

(02:07:45):
with sex bots and I guess jackknife, well last time the
chandelier fell. I successfully.
See if you but you know whateverI got you see malaga's over
think about it and go you know what?
You're right, dulum swap with me.
No I want to sit next to do themnow.
I don't come here, he starts over the table, sorry, but this

(02:08:08):
was a sign to me, I had been listening.
What if I just move the place setting?
Then you won't know, right? But I do know shit.
Um, what if you forgot, what could you do that for me?
Unfortunately, no, hi. Got it.
All right. All right.
I'll just go right next to you. Then yeah, he sort of pushes in
and entitles next to you, do them.
You see him sitting now on a spot labeled Samir and Samir

(02:08:32):
sort of crosses his arms and looks around here seat.
Tired and Deimos will save you. Probably now you can convince me
otherwise if you didn't want me to sit there, you wouldn't try
to convince me. Know I just felt like I was
Losing out on credit for what I did before.
I'll order you two more drinks. If you go sit down, what the

(02:08:54):
drinks are free or literally being paid for tonight.
So, I could order all however, many, I damn.
Please really didn't think you'dthink of that honestly.
Oh yeah, oh no old man against boy will never forget when he's
offered free liquor, just go sitdown.
So the slippery liquor doesn't stop.
Can you just have some matters for once please?
And I'm doing like a final destination thing I know.

(02:09:16):
It's really I'll take a spot Abel says and nothing just
nonsense. All right, all of you guys find
a spot to sit down, you do not find your place setting on any
of the empty spots. Jack knife, senior.

(02:09:39):
I know that. But Now.
I'll just I'll just say we're back and I was supposed to say
Can I get up to like, go find a waiter and you flag one down
into your room? Yes.
This is something the matter would you like hi?
Um, that's okay. Can we get?

(02:10:01):
I just, I don't know if If flexiwas aware, we would be having
extra company. Can we get an extra chair for
like the table? Oh yes, I'll bring it right
away. Um, I will warn you though.
It might not have that special you know what?
I won't spoil the surprise and the waiter runs off.
Okay? Special surprise.

(02:10:24):
He returns a moment later with achair and sort of makes room
around the edge of the table to place it in there and there's
now room for each of you guys tosit down.
Oh my God, guys, there's a fucking special surprise.
I'm so excited. I hope it isn't ashamed.
The lyrics. Yeah, can I see?

(02:10:44):
Sure enough demos. As you look under your seat, you
find wrap to the bottom of your seat.
And what looks like sort of thintwine.
Looks to be a large heavy iron box.
Oh, the fuc. It's sort of tied to the top of
the seat. So it would have been hard to

(02:11:05):
notice if you didn't reach your hand under, but it definitely
feels like it's not part of the chair.
Hmm. Um, guys, I think this thing,
there's something under our seats.
What can I check you? Check under yours Jaya, and sure
enough after you eventually get Jack.
And I have to be gradually swap spots with you and she goes to

(02:11:26):
the now and one new chair, you sit in your spot, Jaya labeled
Jaya. And there is yes, a box
underneath it, malaga's climbs back over the table, back to his
spot and Crosses his arms. Whatever?
Who cares? There's a box on her?
I wanted the box underneath. Our face is probably cool shit
in there. And if you guys reach your hand
under and sure enough, every single one of you saved now for

(02:11:46):
jack knife has a large iron box and looks to have been attached,
a fixed to the bottom of their chair.
You'll get a few moments to appreciate this and just as you
begin a conversation but what itis the lights in the room dim as
you all are finally seated in the right spot and you notice
the one empty chair labeled flixel smoke in front of it.

(02:12:09):
As flick seam himself appears, almost through teleportation,
sat in the chair with his legs crossed and his hands.
Clasped in front of him, his bright red eyes burning and you
see a small Red Roost button to the front.
If his impeccable suit jacket, you smiles, widely at you all
and the light slowly rise and light again and you see Malaga

(02:12:34):
sort of go to clap for the presentation.
Oh shit, that was really cool man.
Yeah. That's a great.
I'm so glad you could all make it.
Please welcome to my restaurant and this be the first time that
you aren't all Hub and by fear or perhaps worried that

(02:12:54):
something might go a Mist tonight.
It gives you all a sharp smile with what looked like beautiful
white, sharp teeth that have a demon.
I was beginning to worry, you wouldn't all arrive tonight to
my invitation is not something Itake for granted and it would
have just hurt me so if you didn't accept, but here we are.

(02:13:18):
And I have a wonderful five-course meal prepared for
you all. I hope you're all invested in a
bit of a long dinner. I am interested in getting to
know each and every one of you very personally you smiles.
Again I smile back as though he said that in a completely Sat

(02:13:39):
right next to him on either sideof flick, sea on his one side is
Samir, who seems to scalp up. Next, to Doula, Samir almost
insatiably, scoots away from flick, sea.
Um, and then turns and looks andsees on his other side is doom.
And then he frowns and sort of scoots back to flicks and looks
confused. Frowns.

(02:13:59):
On the other side of him is now the extra seat that looks to
have been shoved in for Jack Knight.
Jackknife looks complacent and just sort of sits with a daisy
smile on their face about three drinks in.
Now, you notice flicks everyone throughout looks over a bit
perturbed at jack knife as it looks like between jackknife or
rather. But jack knife had sort of

(02:14:21):
placed herself between him and on the other side of him, the
most who would have sat right upnext to him.
If not for jack knife, you couldtell the seating seem to have
been very particular. I wonder, why did we take the
Boxes out of the church or did we leave him there?
I think at least I was an intending on like taking it out.
He was just feeling to see if itwas there.

(02:14:42):
All right. I suppose if any of you guys did
want to fully remove it now would be a good time to sew it.
Did not. All right.
Send you a picture of Lexi. Thank you very much.
Thank you for taking us to dinner flexi.
I really look forward to eating your food without being cursed

(02:15:03):
and I don't know. It's really nice of you.
Thank you for the gift last timeas well.
I'm sure you've already heard wekilled.
Don't mention it. I did it out of kindness for
you. All in fact, thank you again for
your compliments on my food. In fact, any sort of claps his
hands together twice, sort of dry clap.

(02:15:26):
And you see a puff of red and purple smoke in front of all of
you. As what looks like a small bowl
of soup, appears with spoon in front of each and every one of
you. The first course, This is a turn
and tortoise favorite a butternut squash soup with a bit
of delicacy from my home. You might enjoy some of the
Hellfire flavors. They add a bit of a space.

(02:15:48):
I'm gonna now the group of you guys to get into drink this
soup. Um, it is it's spicy.
It's like almost like a spicy soup.
It's very thick as butternut squash off and is and is almost
kind of filling but it leaves you excited for the next Edition
as you scarf it down. Yes.
So I've heard that you've slainslyrics, A lot has changed around

(02:16:10):
here in the few days. Since you've done so really what
like what what for one the lady of pain is founded upon a self
to change the very nature of this city she's gone out of the
way to offer I would say a good way offer what I don't miss call
some sort of package deal if someone else to pay her certain
amount of gold pieces, they are able to use the great cracked

(02:16:33):
mirror. That was once his she is honest
it I'm not exactly sure how I believe it is through that full
red hat done. So he is now the gatekeeper as
it were good for him. Yes, a bit of promotion, good
for him. Regardless it is added a new
layered, you might understand that a lot of people that live

(02:16:55):
here, don't want to be living here and would take the first
opportunity. They could get to get out and
that, that he turns and looks atSamir but not, everyone is like
that. As I'm sure you know, some
people like city is our home. I only worry that by opening
this damned portal to the public.
That's too many people would play out of circuit.

(02:17:15):
Never to return. And this place would go to rot.
What is no matter to me? It's just a Charming little city
I would live here. You know, if I had the choice
but you do have the choice and you don't live here.
Listen, I appreciate you. Yes.

(02:17:41):
I know that all of her face, do not interrupt me next time.
Sorry. You are all tourists in this
town. Yes.
You've spent some time here. You've made some friends, but
you have not nearly spent as much time as I or many of the
priorities of this place. And again, it turns to Samir and
then he sort of looks over a jackknife turning this place
into a home. I appreciate your compliments of

(02:18:02):
the quaintness and the niceties of this city, but at the end of
the day, you will have no further guests than I do it
folks staying again. It's no matter to me.
My well, my waiters and waitresses are well paid and I'm
sure they'll stick around. So this is establishment will
remain, who knows? Maybe we'll Fame.
And I don't know if you know this but there are a great many

(02:18:24):
planes escaping bars and restaurants that have famous
across the Multiverse. This could just be one of them.
Well, spread the word you do that.
He gets another toothy smile. Now then that gift I gave you
I'm sure you understand it was quite meaningless to me.
In fact it was literally just a small rock meant nothing.

(02:18:45):
Really Completely useless. I mean it does have a spell
passed on it. He turns his head to you.
I shovel some more stupid of my mouth.
Don't stop now or a fierce continue.
It has a spell on it. Don't play me for a fool either,
right? She was called All right, I'm

(02:19:13):
done with you. Now then he turns his head over.
It has insanely. Use on it.
Completely turned his head. Now over to demos and Orpheus.
You feel something sort of drop out from under you?
Your seat, shifts a bit. Oh, It's your box is still okay.

(02:19:35):
I thought he stole my present. Um can I just do like an Insight
check on what happened to my seat?
Yeah. Get me an Arcana check, please.
Okay. He turns over to demos.
Now, you you're a wizard. I've been told, yes, as I
understand it, you played a pretty important part in the

(02:19:56):
killing of zabrac as did all of you but more than that you've
traveled to the material plane. You've visited water deeper into
you. Oh true.
Like see right. Have you had any dealings with
the Wizards? There there's black staff,
Tower, felt? Oh yes, yes, we've had some.

(02:20:16):
I would say some unsuccessful business with them but yes,
nonetheless, right? Well.
I consider myself a bit of a neutral party and connection to
them. As I'm sure you're all aware.
I spent a stint and Dagger forward working alongside a
chef. Mastering my craft.

(02:20:36):
I visited the blackstaff tower agreat many times.
They took interest in me and I and them I made close friends
with a wizard. There named Hadrian if you spot
the fellow, please do say hi forme and it gives you a wide smile
of course. Look, see we'll keep looking
out. Excellent.
And continue with your craft, your kind or few and far, and

(02:20:59):
between, and wizards, very, verypotent to these days.
I'd love to have you as a memberof my staff one day.
Oh, thank you. Lexi for the compliments.
Sergeant Jaya. Yes.
I would You look like an Ironwood.

(02:21:22):
It's in the snout. My people take pride in our
parents. Sure, as you should a parents,
are everything off? How was your planet been?
Well, I guess I'm curious. Why you're curious?
How just a passing interest. I visited your planet of

(02:21:42):
Victoria, a great many seasons ago.
You know, you have a special fruit that is grown there.
That answers isn't grown anywhere else, the Dora Dot.
A fine piece of citrus that is Itook a few specimens back home.
Attempted some culinary recipes with them was unsuccessful.
Of course, but met a great many of your people find full

(02:22:05):
proudful very very proud here. Sunday Travel outside of Erie.
See how different the can be across different areas.
I guess. I'm just so used to it, but the
play, it's doing pretty good. I mean, I obviously want to be

(02:22:26):
back home and contributed towards everything, but I can do
right now is trying to get back home and help everybody else.
I see what's a noble goal. How proud you are.
And let me guess a wife and two children, you have back at home,
tell this guy. What, how does he know this?

(02:22:46):
Um yeah, curious. How you got that information?
I'm so I'm right and he cracks amischievous grin and sort of
Whispers just like the books. Say oh what?
What did you recall the name of that spells or of this?

(02:23:07):
Yes. Indeedy cloud.
Ah, yes. As I told you completely useless
to me as a Hellfire creature, fire does nothing to me or any
of my kin besides violence is touch.
A belittling thing, isn't it? Ah, yeah, it is.
Yes. Only way that's a very rich from

(02:23:28):
you over there. Sorry.
I didn't talk with giant not at all fight for peace.
You hear the irony to Sure, but there's not much of a choice,
it's either fight for peace or fight for fighting.
So, I picked. And what if you put down the
sword, what would happen then? I mean at times you just get

(02:23:52):
taken over if you're not fighting for your people when
they're being attacked, you're just giving in sure.
Yes, a fine thought and your people or Affairs, um, the
denizens of Valhalla. Yes, sir, they are and enjoy
enemy, then is what the Dennis'sof Valhalla.
Yeah, yes. The other.
Yeah, I mean to be fair it's notcommon that's Wars.

(02:24:17):
Fast between two completely separate groups.
You fight your neighbor as you don't fight someone.
You've never met before. Yeah.
Rafael she learned a lot from the real world.
Most wars, I've ever been a partof her against people.
I barely knew what's the one. If you don't know, that makes it
easy. Doesn't it?

(02:24:38):
Killing something? That looks nothing like you.
Yes, I've never done that. Give it a try sometime, maybe
you'll like it. I was the world treating you
your body. Then it's not my favorite but
you know I get to each good food.
Now good. It's been nice to meet new
people so I see. So then, I suppose the number

(02:25:01):
one thing you would want is another body or would it be
returned home? Such challenging ideas?
Ah, it's sort of depends what you mean by want because, you
know, of course, I want to go home more than anything, but I
also know I'm not supposed to soI don't I don't try to break a
break for disease order, if thatmakes sense, even though it's
what I want, it's what I want, but it's not something I'd ever

(02:25:23):
do until I got permission. Sorry, I'm rambling.
Quite all right. You snaps his head away from
your face to hire next and you kobold I take it, your brother
is up and about to then, yeah. Yeah, he's back.
Good. And how was his trip from the
afterlife? Did you ask him where he went?

(02:25:46):
He told me part of it. Um, I guess wasn't really an
afterlife. Hey, well, know, since every
creature living, it's an afterlife, whether it be
interesting or not that is entirely up to the viewer.
Am I self consider most afterlife Plains?
Quite interesting? Perhaps he met some of my kin in

(02:26:07):
the Hills know I don't think he got that.
I think our afterlife might be gone.
Yeah you always go somewhere. If not to your own afterlife
then he might have been swept across the cosmos.
A dangerous thing that one can lose themselves in the eternity
of The Multiverse. Yeah, but he's not lost and we

(02:26:31):
have him back now. So all good.
And so then I take it, you're done with your mission of trying
to save him all done. He didn't give you the
information. You did you Sure, um, how you
know that, um, but sure, no, he didn't give me the information I

(02:26:52):
wanted, but there, you know, there are other people to talk
to other things to do. And I, I did not bring him back.
Just for him information, I takeit to bond myself, to be a judge
of character, hiya, Vallejo, andI appreciate your compliment.
You see? I didn't know that he was merely

(02:27:12):
an educated. Yes, I am myself quite an
insightful person. Something I've built up over my
Millennia of Life, something I can use quite easily against the
entire group of you. Now that being said, and he
turns back to Giants and says you, I don't need to read it at
all. In fact, there's a book on you.
He turns away when you say that,do you mean like an actual book?

(02:27:36):
Because I don't recall you know getting on an autobiography
written about me. Oh, for Heads maybe like a
non-literal like a metaphorical book.
Like are you saying that? I'm predictable because like I'm
happy and I have a live. All in due time, Ironwood.

(02:28:02):
All in due time, someone was speaking to me on the side, he
turns over to Horace and do them.
Look at the. Door.
It wasn't a trick of my ears. Don't insult me.

(02:28:22):
So and you see, I'm reach out his arm and grasp around, Samir
clutching the other side of his shoulder and pulling him in.
Samir looks rigid and hard and he has a pure neutral expression
on his face. He's flicks, he started grabs
him and shake some little bit and goes sure we are.
We friends with Sam pixie. Let's go and you see his long

(02:28:43):
claws slowly exit out of Tamir shoulder.
You don't see any blood with it though.
I imagine that was the Pre-K to a more interesting inquiry.
That's malice. He's from the nine hails for a
little while. yes, in fact I'd like to turn my attention now to
and he turns towards Um, during the course of this conversation,

(02:29:06):
by the way you guys finish your soups and they all disappear and
clouds of smoke eventually a second course, arrives a salad
with balsamic vinaigrette drizzled over it, that you all
scarf down a bit. Some of you is to your tasting
others and not the leaves. It's made out of Plexi explains.
Come from far away, land, a similar to Valhalla.

(02:29:31):
He mentions of course. As guard am I at all familiar
with Asgard, you have not heard of Asgard.
Not a traditional set or rather you've heard of it but you have
not. I have no internet, a personal
history with us. Know, you've heard it's sort of
a sister Dimension to your own, very closely line.

(02:29:51):
Some have even told you that they are in the same plane, but
you yourself never interacted with their People like to talk
at you about Dimensions. Sometimes people do like to talk
at me, I get excited by that. Take a bite experience.
Both Sonic Vietnam for the firsttime, in my life and

(02:30:11):
immediately, spit it out on my napkin.
Yeah, that's a good one. The second course comes and goes
and a third course, arrives. What looks to be as small piece
of fish, some sort of Snapper, ared snapper, it's paired with
some wild rice. Yeah.
This is much more delicious. In fact, all of you find this

(02:30:33):
somewhat to your tasting and certain ways or another to hire,
It's Just Fish. You eat a lot of raw fish in
your time to demos. You've had fine Court meals.
That remind you a lot of this and to the rest of you, guys,
you actually remember having a snapper, similarly prepared, on
one of your first days of all meeting each other.
The Murphy of the river prepared, your red snapper, and

(02:30:57):
this one is much nicer, but it reminds you of sort of nostalgic
way of how you guys all first met.
Around the third course, conversation continues.
Yes malaga's right and Malaga sort of got his mouth full now
of Snapper. Yeah I yes I was hoping to

(02:31:18):
inquire about your stay in the nine Hills.
Interesting thing that not that I've spent a great number of
years of recent time there but as I'm sure you know time moves
a bit different down there. I'm surprised I never came
across you. Oh no, I heard about that.
You know, I was sort of like a small potatoes and you're

(02:31:41):
probably right now Yes, I see. Well, why don't you tell me what
layer you were in quite familiarwith all the minor and major
Devils that reside on malaga's eyes, go wide.
And he goes, ah, you know, I swear that jumped around like
the fourth one because you sort of looks at him and goes so I

(02:32:04):
see and you see a smile grow bigger and he goes tell me
malagos. Is that your real name?
Now, what I was a lot longer andreally stupid.
And why did you acquire this name?
Then Malik is given to me when Icame back to life you and
swallow man against Sorry about that.

(02:32:27):
All right. Um, yeah.
It was a name. Kevin to me.
Interesting, a name given to you.
That's such an unusual thing to select the name, given to you by
watch someone, you're not even fond of wonder why you would do
that over. Perhaps going with a name that
you knew was your something you've lived with for like
likely decades how unusual. I mean, I don't know man it's a

(02:32:50):
better name than my old one world.
One suck dick, right? and one last thing malice is
this your body like a sort of looks at him and looks down and
looks confused and goes, I mean I don't know maybe Hmm, I see
you're an interesting one. I'll give you that.
And then you see Malaga, sort oflook at him confused and then go

(02:33:11):
back to his Snapper and eat awayat it.
You see him now turn toward the most again and continue an
earlier conversation, as always saying, should the most I
believe you in interacted with this members of the black stuff
Tower, not telling me have you interacted at all wizard of deep
ah, with just the Wizards in general or there's a court

(02:33:36):
wizard that usually presides over the castle itself.
Have you met the woman? The woman uses.
Oh, perhaps my information is a bit out of date.
It has been a long time since I've been to water deeper, take
it in that is incorrect. Well I'm not one to assume
gender perhaps the name would behelpful.

(02:33:56):
Oh applauds you sarcastically. Wow.
I know a woman by the name of Fogo foot.
So what do we take time? He roguish it.
Uh, no. No, I believe, the current Court

(02:34:17):
wizard is a man named of Olga. Oh, I'm not familiar with it.
I'll have to go by and make up these, it one.
Oh, yeah. Just just be, just be nice to
him, you know, he's a, he's a little, he's been through it.
I've heard a close personal friend.
Interesting, right, a new court wizard.

(02:34:39):
I'll have to make my make an acquaintance with, you know, I'm
not much of a plane travel and not nearly as much as Xavier,
but the lady of pain is owe me acouple of favors and I borrow
that box of his every once in a while when I want to get out.
Well, if you go anytime soon, I well, I guess I'd be careful
about you. There's been some, I don't know

(02:35:00):
if you've heard, you probably have some strange killings
lately. He sort of looks at you
inquisitively and you actually see an arrow confusion.
On his face for once he hasn't heard or at least.
It seems that really out of killing.
What does that mean? People being murdered
systematically? Is there a another serial
killer? And what?
Well, perhaps, perhaps, it's been a small string mostly

(02:35:25):
magical though. We do keep hearing this.
This name pop up and well, tell me if you've heard of it.
It's called The Symphony of neph.
You sort of blinks a couple times and his eyes go wide, and
then he smiles again and because, oh no, that's he's
curious I haven't heard that name in a long time, a symphony,

(02:35:48):
you say they're getting creative.
Oh, in all the acquaintance perhaps, Now, in fact I've never
met an Ethan on it, but I could offer you some information in
exchange for information. but, of course, Right.
Then I'll tell you a bit about nest.
If you tell me any sort of looksbetween each of you guys and

(02:36:11):
sort of Squints his eyes and then slowly curls, the smile
around his face and goes. How about you all tell me what
did you think is in that box beneath your chair?
Do it something? Can I ask You, they're all
different personalized. If you can, guess what it is in

(02:36:34):
there, I will personally inform you of all.
I know about this Nest, sound fair.
Does it mean like one of us has to get around?
Or we all have to get, right. And one of you just drilled us
all about, really personal topics.
I bet it is something to do withthat.
It's different for each of us, he sort of shrugs and gives you

(02:36:56):
a smile. Not far.
What is it? Specifically, you don't have to
decide. Now, I'll let you think on it
for a bit. There are a few more, I haven't
inquired into yet you across theway there, any points that Abel.
Now, who sat sort of, politely eating the Snapper?
We haven't been introduced yet. I will.

(02:37:17):
Hello sir. My name is well night Abel.
I am one of the Knights of Queenreality along with Orpheus here
and I consider myself a bit of the, well, the more social
night, I can consider it my bestfoot forward.
Every time I meet someone new and it's just a pleasure to meet
you sir and he stands up and he bows at the waist my health
formerly, you have see response. What did you all trained him

(02:37:38):
yourself? Does he fetched too?
What did you tell me more about yourself night Abel?
You're here to, what? Well, I'm here to help or a
face, solve this great mystery of Valhalla and well, get a
better sense of why it is that some of our night seemed to be
Allied for and something to be Allied against or a face.

(02:38:02):
Well, I don't mean to say against you and you see speaking
up now flicks, he goes, oh well, there are some Allied against
you many times. This diameter has come to my
door. Oh God.
I what is she asked you for whenshe comes by?

(02:38:23):
Well, she's stuck here for one and she's looking for a way to
get to you up. Until now she said no way of
accessing you but thank God for the lady of pain opening up that
great and wonderful mirror. Oh shit does she want to hurt me
or smeared? Or does she want to make a mens?
Maybe she's come to her senses That's seems like a lot of

(02:38:43):
questions or a face. I'm not sure if I could give you
the answer to all of them but I'll tell you which much
diameter. Has certainly gathered her head
it more. Not sure if that's totally
accurate to whether or not you want to see her.
Not but all I know is she's calculating and in my opinion,
much smarter than you. Yeah.
A lot of people tell me about a lot of people who are much

(02:39:07):
smarter than me. And yet here you are still
alive. So, clearly, you know something
there, don't I like the cleverest at the mall
regardless, I would keep an eye out for her.
I can consider that a pretty piece of information.
Something I don't like to give out.
Now than Abel. Why don't you go ahead and tell
or a face? And I why you haven't brought up

(02:39:28):
that you spoke to this diameter before you came here.
Abel's eyes were to go wide and he looks between the two of you
guys. I would come now.
That's just not fair. When did you speak today?
Misha. You admit it.
But yes, of course, it was a private conversation.
I spoke to her before I arrived here before you arrived in
circuit or the material plane orbefore he left Valhalla or

(02:39:53):
before you arrived at dinner tonight.
Oh, come now or face. Beat be rational.
All right, it was while I was inprison before I arrived to you
to find you. She was in the material play.
Now she wasn't but she contactedme.
I believe it's through that spelled sending that you always
go on and on about. All right what did she have to

(02:40:13):
say to you able? Well, she didn't cast itself.
I said heard the voice of loud and sort of whiny fellow I
didn't anyway through this fellow I heard from diameter.
She wanted to know if I would bewilling to look after you or a
face and well spy on you of course, told him no.
And to piss off, I would find you on my own time and figure

(02:40:34):
out what was wrong personally. But she said that I didn't even
have to spy on you just to keep you safe as all, which is
confusing, because of course, I'd want to keep you safe.
No matter what. So it's not like I'm following
her orders, which is confusing again, but oh, I don't know.
It just was a lot to go through when I was stuck in rotting and
that prison, huh, why would you not tell?

(02:40:55):
But it's meaningless. Of course.
I mean, I got nothing out of it.It's just diameter.
Trying to be destined totally and well, a bit conniving is all
it does not anymore information. You already had when you
informed me of your interactionswith diameter.
Sounded like she tried to sick bisc on you and the same way and
the poor last had crumbled. Not like me, of course, a night
has his standard, of course, it is a bit concerned but I'm not

(02:41:20):
angry, I suppose. I I haven't been thinking about
should I Misha as much as I should be?
Well I mean to be fair she is stuck in the body of a small
boy. She doesn't strike much of a
threat right now. The parents actually, she has a
wizard working for her. That's when flexi smiles and
goes. Yes, I wouldn't be so sure about
that though. I am sad and that that wasn't as

(02:41:43):
juicy as I thought it would be no matter.
You sort of waves his hands at able and moves back over and
sort of a cross the room. Any of you decided what's under
your seat? Any collapse, his hands twice
and all of the Snapper disappears in front of you.
In the fourth course comes out. But looks like a small square of
beef. A steak grilled to Perfection on

(02:42:05):
every corner. You see it.
Served with what looked like potatoes, roasted and salted as
well as some long, green stalks of asparagus.
Enjoy this would be your main course.
Could I ask you a question Lexi before?
I guess what's in my box? He's smiles and you see the
crookedness curve over his long?Sharp teeth?

(02:42:28):
Yes, I've asked this of a lot ofpeople from sarcastic, but I
don't think I've asked you yet. Did you know the girl named
Iceland? He nods his head and smiles.
Now, that's a very interesting question or a face.
Yes, I didn't know Iceland, but I never met with the girl on
merely new. I make it a point to know the

(02:42:49):
coming to goings of many of the regulars of the city.
She never bothered to come here.I imagine for good reason, she
interacted with a lot of my kindwish poured this and I like
likely have a well of the wrong looking face for her.
All right, because She is from the abyss so maybe she had a
fear of themes that's right. You catch up quick don't you

(02:43:13):
know just quick as diameter Iceland but you know quick
enough yes she traveled coming and going quite often it seems
she had a knack for corrupting or even just controlling the
minds of others. So dastardly skilled that not
the kind of magic I like to associate with She yes, I'm sort

(02:43:35):
of a Nate ability. She was given by a demon Lord.
Are you talking about how she would jump into the minds of
people from other places or anything?
She was Charming people. Sure, jump in charm.
What's the difference? In Smiles?
Wide once again and his show andhe goes, oh yes, I do believe.

(02:43:58):
So ha, which is a great segue into my final in Korea, for the
night, turns towards Samir, oh, speak up then.
I think, I think I know what I have our first guest of the
night. Have a thin.
I think you have a paid for my journal in that box.

(02:44:19):
Hmm. A fine guess I have a layer but
unfortunately incorrect though, your closer than you think the
rest of you get a guess is well dude that's what's in hires box
or at what's in our own boxes. Your own of course though I'll
give you a hint at this point. The nature of all of your items

(02:44:41):
is similar. It is merely what is on it that
is personalized. You sorta turns away from Samir
who he seemed to have been targeting next and back to hire.
So interesting that you asked about your notebook, have you
lost pages of it? You don't trust the people
around youth in someone here hasbeen taking.

(02:45:02):
Yes. Oh, information about us, I
simply suggested an Avenue. You might have known.
He waves a hand across his face.Oh, he's polish.
I didn't I tell you I'm insightful.
All there is to it. I have no need for your journal
and all your about, your brother, your mother, and
father, simple stuff. Yep.

(02:45:22):
My mother and father Just as I suspected, you're an open and
shut case higher valet it is interesting.
What's happening to your plane? You were aware.
Are you of the of the history ofAether?
I mean, of course. I grew up with with her

(02:45:43):
education. Oh yes, of course, I'm sure you
did but long before she was the ruler of some small.
Nothing plain like your own. Did you know, she was worshiped
in the material plane in churches by humans.
This was, of course, many, many years ago when she was just a
fledgling. Gorgeous, but such an
interesting thing, isn't it for your own goddess to start in a

(02:46:06):
large plane and moved to a smallone?
You'd think she would know what she was doing.
What do you mean to say? If not just what challenge my
goddess in front of me? Oh no.
Hi, I don't mean to upset your ideals.
I'm nearly wish to inform you ofthe stretches are still around.
They've been altered some sure. Some have different gods as the

(02:46:30):
face but hey there is still worshiped in small ways on the
material plane. Not just by your people, but by
ancient worshipers, never taken to the mundane plane, you should
visit them, sometimes they mighthave some information that you
really want. It might shed some light and all
those Secrets she's been keepingfrom you.

(02:46:50):
Thank you for the information. That is certainly worth knowing.
Yes, of course. Now then where I was, I and he
traces finger back to Samir Samir arborist, son of the toy
maker ehli. Do we really have to do this
right now? I mean, I thought we could just
enjoy a nice dinner. Oh, hush hush.
You know, I have to enjoy my funbecause adventuring again.

(02:47:12):
In fine. Thank you.
Alright, and that nagging sense of a band still pulling at.
You know, these people are very nice and I know that wouldn't
happen like last time, oh yes, sure.
But I'm sure you saw what happened to, hmm.
Father, Lou Chase and what were their names Venice and bagath.
You took these two with you as well?

(02:47:33):
Right abandoned first thing, no doubt, I don't see them here.
Well, that's really wrong flexi because they're actually old
dead. Oh, we don't leave people behind
like Smiles, wide and Chuckles to himself a sort of low

(02:48:03):
coughing thing. Oh Samir obelus, you do.
So enjoy my company, don't you dead?
They are then I'm sure your fears are even greater.
Won't just be abandoned, you'll be killed.
I don't think that's the case fixie.
Um I trust these people and I know they keep me safe.
Also, I kind of enjoy adventuring now.
I like more grown person and I think I am better for it.

(02:48:25):
Yes, I see. And You left behind your shop so
quickly quite unusual, too. Last, I heard the reason you
left me to go run that place wasto make a daddy print giving up
on it so soon. Well, um, jack knife is looking
after it and you guys notice at this point, samira's getting a
little nervous Engine with the silverware in front of him.

(02:48:45):
And because she was taking care of it, and I know it's still
run. Well, and besides, um, my new
friends here, I've told me that one day soon.
We might even be able to visit my father in the city of brass.
Oh, that would be rich. Wooden!
Did head back home, head held low.
Father, I returned and I fail tomy that just be delightful.

(02:49:07):
There's anything fucks you, man. What is an adventure?
Game still, buying the stuff he builds.
Flicks whips his head back up toall of you guys as you sort of
throw in your criticisms and he smiles wide.

(02:49:27):
And his hand out again around pulling him close.
And you see some are looks awkward and tries to shift away,
but flicks is long sharp nails, sort of dig into the side of
samir's shoulder. Any winces?
As flicks, speaks up sort of loudly.
Now, are you all aware of the makings of a Golem?
Let's get down to the nitty gritty here.
Are you aware of their very chemical makeup?

(02:49:49):
Hmm. Ask your friend Doom over there.
I'm sure you might have some information, whether B and your
central data banks, a book or two, you've picked up, you would
be quite quite impressed at whatyou find.
They are simple creatures and are Samir.
Here is just playing human Samara, sort of winces and pulls

(02:50:11):
his hand away, and you see his hand pulls away with a bit of
Clayton to each finger, Samir rubs his shoulders and goes,
that's what wrong fixie. Alright.
Um, Golems of years past, what are Maybe.
Made simple but my father is an incredible inventor and I think
he made he's able to make it more special sure.
Yes, whatever you tell us yourself but once you revisit

(02:50:32):
him, it will all come flooding back.
The city of wishes they call it.That's all you were a wish to
replace something. Fast and write really fast and
work really hard, so I don't seewhat's so wrong with that.
I'm glad you asked that sorrow of face.

(02:50:54):
In fact, that very question has a lot to do with what is under
your very seat, the difference between humanity and the
constructs, he gestures to do them.
And they points at me and goes, they have well, I suppose you
all have something that they lack.
They lack something that you have something that could very

(02:51:15):
well. Be the difference between you
and just a rock on the side of the road.
He claps his hands again and thestakes that you guys are all
eating. Slowly puff out of existence.
Some of you who were even a bit heated in the debate, who didn't
get much, you see it disappear in front of you.
Hey man. Thanks Higher is a scarf.

(02:51:36):
I imagine higher scarf. Demos is probably a bit more of
a sophisticated. I don't know if duel.
Lum, you're eating any of this. I'd say like, a respectful
amount. If you guys will have some, they
don't want your poop male poop meal.
Finally, the meal disappears in the 5th and Final close in front

(02:51:59):
of creme, brulee, I desert dish. You'll fit in final, call us in
joy. I personally made each and every
one of the utility what you think?
They all look different you lookaround.
They do all look a little different but you think it's
just like the difference that whole making something like Lee,
does somewhere ever so slightly more burned than others to

(02:52:23):
people's taste that flicky guessed?
I like very angrily. Crack.
Open my creme brulee. What's going on about this
replacement? Oh, I don't mean to put a wedge
between us all. I just like to stock up a bit of

(02:52:46):
healthy conversation. It just kind of feels like
you're beating around the bush around certain things and you
know, at least I would appreciate if you know you're a
little bit more direct but I mean, nonetheless, the food has
been great, you know. Hospitality theatrics.
Pretty good. Thank you.
Sergeant Ironwood now. I guess I'll try to guess what's

(02:53:09):
in my box? All right, take a stab at it.
So I don't you like it's some sort of notebook, but on the
cover it's like ingrained with asymbol.
It represents all of us, and I think maybe with mine, it would
be their fruit. They were talking about for my
plane, you smiles and goes, oh, I find guests and unfortunately

(02:53:33):
still wrong. But you got close to still, I
suppose with one more wrong. Guess I'll give another hint.
Yes, you're in the right ballpark.
He's a paper good and very personalized, think a bit more
outside. The box, you will have a bit
more to pick out of each and every one of you.
He sort of turns around the room.

(02:53:53):
Looking at each one of you, he stops on higher and then
Chuckles and turns away and stops.
Giant. Then finally turns back to or a
face. Or a face.
Yes, sir. Oh, don't act so upset.
What you're scared of me now or just having conversation, didn't
it lightly when you asked me a question?

(02:54:15):
What's your question? Sir?
You're playing Valhalla. You were sent to their for being
a warrior would theoretically? Yes.
Tell me now, the rest of the folks in Valhalla are warriors.
Same as all four years. Yes.
So your queen. Um, reduces that right?
I think you'd that. Aha.

(02:54:35):
Two must have been a warrior then in a sense.
Yes she died. Fighting died fighting.
Yes, that's what I was hoping toget to the Crux of tell me this
or a face. Why is it then that is filled
with all these Cutthroats and well, let's be faced it
murderers. And yet those who merely die
fighting and battle can be sent to their as well.

(02:54:56):
I mean, ask madigas here, peoplecan be sent to hell for dying
and battle, since to Hades itself.
Why to you? I didn't die in battle, buddy,
do not interrupt me or face. You know how you died?
Well, I I wanted to silence please.
I'm not finished it. No one knows exactly what it is.

(02:55:19):
That Decides whether or not she got.
If I Have if the most important part of your life was that
fight? Or maybe if it was every fight,
that's what sends you to Valhalla.
And, yes, you don't remember an inch of your life before, how,
curious, or face. Did you aware that out of most

(02:55:40):
afterlife plans, or at least theseveral does?
And that I've visited those who arrived there more or less given
them the memories of their lives.
Keep six. If you will things to remember
the good old days by very few planes strip you of your
memories. Now would be D do that.
It really doesn't control our plane the Valkyries.

(02:56:04):
Dover. Are most people there, remember
their lives able to remember hislife, right?
And and Malice went to the nine Hills but he forgot his.
So I think some of us just don'tget to remember, you said it,
they were giving us keepsakes, maybe we didn't deserve that.
That's because it's not a happy place.
You are like yes. you talk of itlike it is some playground for

(02:56:29):
you and your friends, but No, he's not a good afterlife, is
it? No, I it's it's the type of
place that you want to make better.
It's right. It's not a good one.
So you might say agree that the negative afterlife, it belongs
with those who are evil. I don't think anyone's Evil all

(02:56:50):
the way through and I don't think anyone belongs and evil
place. So I think if you find yourself
stuck in one, you need to find away to make it less evil.
Not that evil necessarily just. I'm very chaotic very chaotic.
Good, that is my perfect segue into love the robot.

(02:57:10):
He turns the word. You do them sat next to Orpheus
watching, you slowly pick carefully and you know, politely
at your creme brulee. You are sitting here hearing
that your companion, sarafay's is informing you that he came
from a plane of chaos and you coming from the most lawful
plane in existence. You can put up with that.
You can bear with that. Well, he's not chaotic now, but

(02:57:33):
he was born in a place of chaos.Do you think that the nature of
one's upbringing defines them? Not always not always a finance
because here you are outside of mechanists.
How will we know that your lawful at all?
So you were born there. But something about you seems
all I'd say through actions actions.

(02:57:55):
Yes, actions. I like your description of that.
So then let's talk of action. Shall we?
Your group, the actions, they performed of late.
Lets the murder of the boundless.
Of course, for the good of the realm.
What is comes to mind? So saving hires brother.
Oh yes. And my people who, you know,

(02:58:17):
Give me money and help to as well.
That's a fine action. Yes and Let me see here.
He sort of glances around the table stops on malaga's for a
second and the actions of you young man with a mouthful of
creme brulee. Oh, yeah.
Oh so you know, I was actually follow through the love of God,

(02:58:38):
malagos. Fuck, dude.
Why do you guys on my shitt? All that.
All right, like I was I what didI do today?
I slept a lot and then I talked to jackknife and then I drank at
my bar and now I'm here, eating free food, so it's pretty good
day. So I see and and how to you and

(02:59:00):
he traces over to demos your daytoday.
Hmm, my day. I feel like I'm just, you know,
looking after the group, we're all I feel like we all helping
each other out on the day today.Oh, now demos don't be core.

(02:59:20):
You went somewhere alone, too. Some place you didn't want to
bring your companions. Well, was it?
Oh, Lexi. Um, well um, have have you heard
of the name Samson before he sort of slowly Smiles, you see
it across his face nods slowly. Samson owned week?

(02:59:44):
Yes, that's the worst. I am quite familiar with the
gentlemen. You're close with him.
Oh well close. Um, one might say Acquaintances.
Seems pretty close to me. But what was the nature of your

(03:00:07):
visit today? Oh I was seeking some advice but
Through a turn of events, quite unexpected me, that would other
people that and Mr. On with wasn't present at his own
matter. In absentia, going for a few

(03:00:31):
days. I suppose, tell me when you
left, did the gods tell you, he would be gone for a night.
Yes. Yes.
I think those were their exact words, a bit of advice and give
up on him. You won't see him every, you
know, they, they said he was Up at the Capitol.

(03:00:51):
Was that incorrect? Which yes, at the Castle, I
suppose performing some dignitary function.
Yes, I'm sure of investigate that entire casually, the single
shred of evidence that he was there.
Ah, quite tell me then it seems as though, you might have some

(03:01:12):
understanding of where Mr. On Wick has went, oh, now,
unfortunately I have not the faintest clue, but I do
understand the politics of WaterDeep.
You are aware of the. Oh, let's just be frank.
The masked. Lord policies of water deep.
I yes, quite the unique form of governance.

(03:01:33):
Isn't it just and are you also aware that this position
Lifetime and yet despite the Open Lord being elected, these
masked Lords, given a lifetime position.
See through well overturn, everyfour or five years.
How curious isn't it that a lifetime position be empty?
So often does Big Lots of questions?

(03:01:55):
Doesn't it? Why?
Oh, I think the most looks a little defeated at this line of
reasoning. I'm afraid your Samson is gone.
Is the rest of them. Feel free to look about though.
I suppose I haven't been there and quite some time.
I could just be over exaggerating he smiles at you.
Now then I'm getting off subject, he turns back to do

(03:02:19):
them, you hear now that your friends have been running around
and to see and sex chasing what alcohol?
In Vice tell me you're acquaintances from mechanisms.
Did they do these know? Hmm.
And one more thing. Would you have put up with it if
they did? Well, it wouldn't matter where

(03:02:41):
they were on the ranking. If they were below me, I would
not. But that was also much different
circumstances. They weren't living and neither
was I. Oh, how curious you say you want
living at implies now, you are something changed to do them.
I suppose living in the materialplane does change.
You know, there's more to it isn't their Humanity, you're

(03:03:03):
chasing it, Auntie, or are you being forced to chase it?
I think I'm doing my own will. Fascinating, I suppose you and
Playboy have some he smacks Samir.
You recall the last time you were in mechanists, yeah.
Did you like it very much he smiles and nods at you.
Mechanic is the central Time keepers of the entire

(03:03:27):
Multiverse? They have the greatest clock in
existence through it the times kept through every realm in
existence. That means they as well as any
creature alive. Sort of Follow that.
Great clock. Wonder how it's doing?
He smiles, I assume the same. I've not been gone very long.
Certainly. Yes, of course not.

(03:03:49):
There was an overturn in leadership while he was the I
think that's true. And now I have hex turns
snooping around my city. Curious, you're the only
mechanical creature to travel through here and quite some
time. Well, I have heard of other
units. Similar to me in different
places. Yes.
But they're searching around here.

(03:04:10):
Not telling me. Why would a pair of hex turns
come here for you ulam? Have you done something wrong?
I don't believe. So.
Do they believe so? Yes, and they are your
superiors. Are they not?
Not currently. Hmm.
Then who is your current Superior Doom?
I suppose I don't have one. Oh, how?
Interesting? And also named with no master.

(03:04:31):
It's unheard of I suppose that makes you your own man own that
a lot of people fight their entire lives for it.
They'll be finding you again soon that pair of hex Toons, I'm
sure you're aware. The creatures are if nothing
else particular but I like your bravado, he smiles and turns
back to the rest of the room as the creme brulee slowly reps up,

(03:04:54):
and he looks between You all andsort of Chuckles to himself.
Did anyway, what have any final guesses before dinner?
Concludes of what's under your seats?
Would you like me to pick you upa bit more?
I have a guess. Right.
Clever demo. Let's see what you have.
Well, from what I've heard, I think perhaps might be a spell

(03:05:16):
scroll. I know I enthusiastically You
see him? Sort of clap his hands together
and go. Oh Bravo.
Demos. How utterly close you are.
I almost have the site to give it to you and that's piece of
paper. Under your box, it does contain
letters and words that can cast a spell, but spell scroll.

(03:05:37):
Now, not quite right for something needs to be written on
it books. Something very important.
I know what it is. Hmm.
Fine to make a deal with you. You see him smile and he snaps
his fingers and you guys. All feel your chairs, get a bit
lighter, as appearing, about twoinches in front of you in a puff

(03:05:58):
of red and purple. Smoke is a large iron box that
clanks down, hard into your lap, almost knocking the breadth of
you. It's smacks into your body.
Oh. Thank you, spell scroll.
I was sure that was what it was. Each lock box, says what looks

(03:06:18):
like a small door on the top that when Twisted unlocks to
reveal a perfectly preserved, scrap of paper, you see words
written along it and at the bottom and x and a long.
It's a contract, quite correct. You are, so, as well done.
I give each of you. These as a personal gift, the

(03:06:39):
gift is not quite the right wordas gifts implies, it's free.
This of course, is not free in offer a bargain of Swords,
something, me and my car to good.
I hope you all trust me to the letter.
I of course, I'm a lawful creature.
Just as some of you are here nods and Winks at dulum and
goes. So you can trust my word on

(03:07:00):
this, read it carefully, and my conversations with you all
tonight have some what to give me important, what exactly it
was that I wanted to release. So, they're a bit personality
each of you before you go on anddecide what you want.
I just want you to consider. What I can each one way what's
really? I can and he smiles and claps

(03:07:21):
his hands and the creme brulee puffs away in a puff of smoke.
At this point, I'm going to DM each of you guys with a private
message. I have these all written in
another page that I'm going to copy and paste really fast.
I do need, it might take a second to do so so just have
them onto yourself. And so I will be making no teeth

(03:07:50):
links, that you're gonna become,I think, Oh, I think you Loki
told me what he's offering me earlier and if it's that I don't
know if I want it, but we'll see.
Like there was something flexi said to me, that is what made me
think it was a spell scroll. Because, you know, Isaac did you
have a guest for what was under the chairs?
I had no idea. And then yeah, literally right.

(03:08:13):
As he said, spell squirrel as like, oh, has to be a contract.
Yeah. Fuck this shit.
I'm not playing fucking deal with this bitch.
He plays Mario. Just so so good though.
Yeah, that's you know so much. Okay.
Before any of us have read the contract, I'm gonna make a quick
prediction higher will sign Davos will sign Jai wolf signs.

(03:08:36):
What year was signed, do love outside, malaga's will sign
100%. Flicks a continues.
That means I owe you some information, doesn't it?
I promise you everything that I knew about Nath and I suppose

(03:08:58):
it's the least I can do, can I? Well so it is the least I can
offer you so I suppose I will nephews A sort of deity, but a
living creature. You see, nephews the plane that
lives a living synthetic plain of finite size.
That has an immense curiosity, the creature inhabits, the

(03:09:23):
entirety of the plane. It learns of other planes by
absorbing the Flesh of visitors, and incorporates their memories
into itself. It's the largest creature to
ever live. Additionally neth also, learns
of other planes and creatures from those who worship it and
think of its size. So expansive, its plain.

(03:09:45):
So large that, merely imagining it.
Some of your very life force is socked off of it is a dangerous,
thoughts Nest. I warn you all, not to get dig
too deep into it, there are several ways of transport to the
plane. You can travel to it through the
astral plane, through limbo. In fact, I even believe the FAE

(03:10:06):
Wild Can connect to it. There are probably dozens more
connections to the plane of nephthat I'm not aware of, but I am
quite sure that it is horrifyinglead.
Giant, the only thing native to the plane of neph is Neff
itself. Sometimes neth creates humanoid
subunits of itself, sometimes it's short-term purposes.

(03:10:28):
Other times long-term travel outside of the plane.
Holy shit, this Symphony, then must be some sort of cult, like
worship for in neth, is a strange creature.
Something I, of course, would never want to come across its
size. So large, I couldn't fathom what
it thinks. It's intelligence must be either

(03:10:50):
close to a beast, or close to the Divine either way.
That's makes it dangerous. I share with you now, a mentally
image. So, you know what to avoid in
your future tops, and with this, these sort of leans forward and
you see us eyes feel with red ashe Projects in front of him,
would looks like a small mirror image or rather a silent image.

(03:11:12):
A small ball of gloop and flesh. It looks like a Teratoma teeth
sticking out of Flesh and eyes poking out, looking through the
void. You see in trails and teeth and
hair. It's horrific, and it's seems to
be ever expansive. I don't like.

(03:11:36):
Unfortunately, this doesn't exactly help you with you
Symphony of neth, but it does give you a bit more information
into what exactly that goal. So they themselves could even be
children of neph. Have you come across one
personally? One?
Yeah. And have you cut them in half
yet? Know what?

(03:11:58):
Well, children of nest, look? Mostly, like people nessus.
So expansive that it can imaginepretty much any race or size or
species of anything. The one thing that gives them
away is that if you were to cut one in half by septic, you would
find eyes and teeth and hair feeling the entire cavities of

(03:12:19):
the, like a sickness. Like can't I don't think I don't
I don't think Piccolo. Was that way?
I'm pretty sure we saw him get hurt.
He had a sister, it is memory. So right guys.
Yes Lexi. Do these children of math.
Do they know it? They are.

(03:12:40):
Do they do they just believe they're alive?
Well, of course, they were created by Nest, they considered
themselves, living breathing reaches.
Some of them, might even think they have family.
Of course, I'll give him to themby things, to keep them going.
I'm sure, but they praised him nonetheless, and gather and
collect souls for him to absorb quite a curious Beast.

(03:13:03):
Any other questions? Well, I think it's quite
strange. It seems as though I don't know
that these children of death areplaying at some political angle
in waterdeep. Yeah, they were fired, right?
Right, has Nest ever shown interest in?
You know, politics before news to me.

(03:13:25):
All I was aware of plain itself, neth was curious, but didn't
like to venture. You see, he was confined to his
own plane. He wanted to expand any other
questions regarding the matter or is that eat?
I I wish I could. Think of any honestly, I'm just
a bit dumbfounded. Yeah, honest.

(03:13:51):
Well, let's see. We did come across a strange
book that once that said it belonged enough, but belonged to
him, I suppose that doesn't makeany sense.
But perhaps Nest could write certainly his children can, what
was this book? You found.
It was a where grimoire of sortsit had these strange backwards

(03:14:16):
spells contained within Backwards spells interesting.
I do, suppose a creature of the size of a plane would want to
experiment with the Arcane. That does worry me though.
If it's experimenting. Then there's a chance that neth
might try to attempt to breach. So, in barrier and into the
plane of something else, one of the spells in there was some way

(03:14:39):
to do that. You said it was, it was lost you
there. What happened to it?
You let something like that slipout of your grasp, not
willingly. Unfortunately, we were talking
to buy this. What would you call these ladies

(03:15:00):
in suits? Yes, they quite expertly
infiltrate it, our space and stole it from us HP part of some
larger organization that specifically what works for the
masked Lords in Water. Deep interesting.

(03:15:20):
Unfortunately, that's not something.
I we I could help you but If they have interest in it, they
might also be connected to the symphony.
A flexi, are you familiar with aperson named Atlas sarkov?
Unfortunately, I'm not. Okay, what exactly does this

(03:15:41):
Atlas Circle? Do I'm sorry, but I don't
actually know their profession and their trust has been given
to me and I'm not going to say more Well, this is quite
curious. Thank you for your free
information. It feels Out Of Reach For Me.

(03:16:13):
Then I suppose you should never be broken.
Then there, can I answer Lexi? Oh yeah, what's your style?
Oh I said of whatever people youhave to do in front of I have to
do in front of a hassle solar. Have a little whisper discussion

(03:16:34):
with him. Yes, he had to Mason little
thing or face with yellow. This girl's table.
I'm in my, it says it exchanged for one Soul, upon that event of
my death, is that my soul. And if, so, after the hunter
here, just by Soul, stay with you, or does it go back to
Valhalla? Know, after that, period of
time, it would go back to, okay? It's my soul, right?

(03:16:57):
Not anybody else's. Why would it be anyone else's
sort of face? I just wanted to make sure wait,
that wasn't an answer. It's my soul, right?
Not anyone else's you read the contract, didn't you?
Do? I need to spell it out for yes.
In fact. So, I get a quill out of my
back, out of my bag, and hold itup to him.

(03:17:17):
I'm not gonna sign this unless you can write at the one.
Soul is my soul, not someone else's.
Oh, goodness, gracious or a face.
You want me to amend my? Ah, yes, sir.
Just for clarification sake. Alright, fine.
He leans over rights in a small notation and says, Knight or a
face, so and then write his initials and burning ink.

(03:17:39):
Okay, thank you. I'll go sit down.
I want to look around or any of my friends signing.
Are they reading? I hold on, hold on.
I'm still sending. Oh sorry.
Sorry. No jumping.
The gun row face. Not a face that I have a tell
you that Valhalla plays that, I'm so much.

(03:18:00):
Yes, well of course I've never been there.
But funny enough actually you mentioned earlier.
It's a plane of chaos and that'sactually quite true.
You see some of the very worst Fighters and barbarians of hell
was the Valhalla punishment? Wait, they were sent from hell
to Valhalla as punishment. Oh yes, that's right.

(03:18:21):
Wouldn't most people think hell is probably worse than Valhalla?
Well, of course the thing that they were most frightened of and
the thing that happened to EverySoul transport of Valhalla is
that their mind was completely wiped.
All memories of everything, justthe barest, siblings of anything
that is worth than hell funny isn't it?

(03:18:42):
You said Every Soul sent to Valhalla?
Yes, more or less some try theirbest to hold on to a piece of
humanity. Like this able friend of yours,
you say able to pick up and goesyes of course.
I remember quite a bit from and flexi waves.
His hand and goes but of course they mostly make it.
Don't they? How dare you?
Sir, I only make up a little bit, it's for Grandeur of it.

(03:19:03):
Works out really well for me man.
Fuck this guy. How much do you remember Abel?
Well, I mean I remember trees I suppose and I think grass but we
have a couple of those and Valhalla.
I remember, I don't remember my name, know what I looked like,
but I remember I started about the tall but his hand about an

(03:19:24):
inch or two taller than He already is.
For the stories of her face. All legends in epics are given a
bit of grand. Sure.
You understand. I don't look at him.
Oh, her face, what's wrong? You All lied to me.
What do you mean? You said you remembered told me.
I was the only one who didn't I or face.
I mean I remember a beard for example.

(03:19:47):
Don't you remember that? The cat with the stripes that I
propose that one day? It's just a thing he will or the
flour with the like 100 petals. That was my idea.
I remember that's not part of your life, it's just an image.
You've just seen a picture or heard of it or maybe you just

(03:20:08):
made it up for all. I know there's no cats with
stripes, there's no 100 petaled flower or a famous come now.
Really, I think the only difference between us is
confidence me and Mike friends your friends as well.
We just We were confident in what we do.
You always, you didn't remember anything, but just telling me a
cat with stripes isn't some sortof thing, I remembered, I mean I

(03:20:30):
can't put two words where I eversaw it, but I, I came up with
that, which means I remember it.You can't just create that from
thin air. Can you you and me show and, and
Avalos and Elektra, um, I signedthe Conroe.
What's stop? What are you doing?
You Reached out and you see yourhand whirl across like or face.

(03:20:51):
No. It's far too late.
Sorry, no. I don't want to see any of you
sign it. I don't want any of you giving
your souls away. Scratch, scratch, scratch,
scratch scratch. All right or face, I haven't
written down here that you are signing this thing.
Yo, and can I be so real really was not going to until Now, or

(03:21:17):
face have some sense, don't talkto me.
You see flicks is smiling over all of got a brilliant little
grin going. Any seems to really Relish in
the excitement of the group and he goes, you know, that there is
actually quite a bit of information I could share with
all of you more, if you'd like to stick around for some
apache's. I have a few more desserts that

(03:21:38):
can go around. If you want to be berated
between, none of us should well.He does know a lot, the price.
He's asking just a little to me.Oh I'll stay here a bit longer
flexi. If you can tell me some more.
Yes, good perception. Checking to see if anyone else

(03:22:00):
signs. Well someone just did a
publicly. Oh yeah.
Well that's already happened. I can't stop it. all right, I'm
pasting demos and then I think that's everybody has gotten you
Know again, apologies for the link of time that took.
I hope you're excited about Yeah.
Yeah. All right.

(03:22:27):
What was could you roll me a perception?

higher. Would you go ahead and roll a
perception? Check to see if you see anyone
signing their nine nine. I want to do the same if I can.
All right, you go ahead or a face but considering you are in

(03:22:51):
an emotionally, Outburst state. I'm going to have you roll with
decent, okay, yeah, I get that. It's bad roll.
R7. Right?
You also look around the only one who's so put your name down
on it and it sits in front of you.
Now, the ink still burning flexi, looks at you and smiles.
I do hope. You will consider this a gift
this evening again just know youcan walk away from this and

(03:23:13):
still enjoy a free dinner. This is merely a an offer of my
friendship toward, you must understand as a devil.
It is what I live on tracks. Like these, don't take it as an
offense against you and understand that each and every
one of you is more or less offered the same deal.
Give me more or less 100 Years of your or rather your

(03:23:35):
afterlife. Once you pass to me, you won't
be a slave. You will have time off.
And you, of course will have perhaps a vacation to, but you
will work for me during that period of time indefinitely.
And then you may go to your proper afterlife, a simple deal,
really one of friendship too. I hope you understand that this

(03:23:57):
is a job off and at this, you see, Samir slowly push his
contract forward on the desk andthen crumple it up, and toss it
for, and he speaks sort of quietly.
It, this is a job offer I've gotten before, I don't want it.
How come now Samir don't be. So crass, at least read it.
I already read it. All right, I don't want it.

(03:24:19):
You don't have to sign us now. Could keep If you're not going
to sign it then let's read it out from, shall we flexi reaches
forward slowly? And you see Samir jump out and
grab it and pull it back to his chest and go fight.
Fight fight. I'll put it away.
I'll hold on to it for now and he shoves it into his backpack
and Crosses his arm, whatever flexi is offered you people.

(03:24:40):
I will personally try to give you.
If you tell me what it is, you don't need him for whatever he's
offering. Hi.
A 100 Years of my afterlife isn't very much.
It's all I've already had Melania I you know every second
here, I missed however many thousand years, in Valhalla
already, 100 years isn't much tome.

(03:25:02):
It's worth this. I have a layer down.
Take this as an insult. I'm trying to offer you,
something you If you want to go fish it by yourself, please be
my guest. In fact, I've already given you
all more information than you deserve just in the very wording
of the contract. It's merely an offer of good
fake. You can always turn it down with

(03:25:24):
friends here. Alright, he stretches his arms
out in a friendly Manner. And as friends, of course, I
hope he would respect. I'd love to keep my soul.
Of course, I have a layer. I understand entirely.
Please toss it up and crumple it.
If you wish same as Samir, I take no offense.
Just know as an option or just one course.

(03:25:46):
Yes. Hold on to us, okay.
But nobody should sign it. Once the once the ink is dried
on the documents so they will burn up into a crisp and I will
know that the deal is signed. In fact, any sort of looks over

(03:26:06):
at or Affairs and you see him count silently to himself and
then in a moment or a face in front of you, your contract
burns up into a crisp disappearing and you see flexees
eyes light up. I swallow hard, so it is done.
You see him delicately reach into his jacket pocket and pull
out a small note card or atheistfor the deal.

(03:26:28):
You just made with me. Some of my time is offered.
Take this, take extends out a slim white business card, time's
New Roman watermark, Oh my God. Halfway three.
They call this one. Eggshell, fuck.
Call upon this whenever you needmy services and it might take

(03:26:54):
you some time to write out exactly what you want me to do.
So take your time on that and bevery careful.
As with all Devils, the exact letter of man is very important
to me. You wouldn't want me to dally
understood sir. I'll talk that into a special
box. All right, please add one.
Flicky business card to your door.

(03:27:16):
Oh my God. And for the rest of you monitor
over his long as you, I've had old friends of mine signed their
products when they turned and nine, they will never burn.
They will never wet. They will never saw it.
Papers are magic spells Scrolls if you like Burns and wings a
deep, They are worth something too.

(03:27:37):
Unfortunately, I've already pre-written your name bottom.
So you cannot sell this to someone else or feel out.
But as with all things, some people like to get in contact
with Devils so do try not to settle this to some whack on the
side of the street. You see flicks sitting out
enjoying the view, yum reaches into his other pocket, and pulls

(03:27:58):
out a long cigar holds it up to his mouth and lights.
What looks like a bit depressed Edition on the floor because of
the sand. Oh, what was that?
They was What? Miss input?
Miss input. Accidentally rolled a text.

(03:28:22):
That's weird. That's weird.
It's just roll it. I mean, guys.
Mmm, flexi lights, a cigar and smokes on a little bit around
this time. You guys see jackknife sort of

(03:28:43):
stand up in her eyes. Go wide.
Hey, you guys, I need a second. Um, shit.
What's wrong? I'm getting a fuk.
It's um, it's eight o'clock. I'm getting a message in my
head. Someone's someone's trying to
send to me right now. Don't worry.
It's okay. Could we push her in the bag of
holding? Would she still get the sending?
I know it's coming through rightnow.

(03:29:03):
It's coming from here and it shit.
I need to think of a response but I I can't talk and listen at
the same time. Fuck.
She looks nervous and she looks around.
It's the it's that hex Bots, it's bitch a little, the facts
give them nothing say unrelated facts.
Fuck. Hi.
I'm not that smart. Um and you feel a little alarm
ringing in your head Doom as someone who can tell the time
perfectly that yes it is. In fact 8:00 on the dot should

(03:29:27):
Um, okay. They are they just asked shit.
I'm getting another one. God damn it, it's back to back.
They said on certain plane. Where are you have you contacted
dulum answer? Yes.
Or no. If you send more than one word
answer we will know your lying answer.
Yes or no. Okay.
See the one word? That's not, yes or no.

(03:29:49):
Summertime know they're gonna flood.
They're gonna kill me that what I was already on Phineas.
I thin ice with these guys, man. They they saw the and he sure
she points to the arm. They saw the decathlon armed,
man. They wanted to be fucking dead.
They want me dead, they're gonnakill me.
Unsure, doesn't unsure? Just be no.
Okay, no, it's okay. She breathes to herself.

(03:30:12):
You see sort of step back a little bit and go.
Are you, are you? All right, let's my 60.
Are you feeling? All right?
No, no I don't know what's goingon?
Okay, I hire I'm okay. Oh, I think, I think I'm gonna
go with unsure that should get me some luck, right?
Okay. All right, here we go.
And she thinks for a moment and you see her eyes glaze over and

(03:30:34):
then she turns back and she goes, okay, I sent it.
I said on sure. It's gonna work.
Ah they're here. They're in just the tower next
door. They're closed, I mean oh it
does yeah, we should get to the material plane.
Good. He's a slight problem with that,
though. Out of face that box you have.
We can only use it once every 24hours, right?

(03:30:57):
Okay, we could go to Fabric's house and go through one of the
door portals, the lady paints that we could use some certainly
one leads the material plane, right?
You see flexi? Hold up.
Both hands, calm down, calm down.
All right. As long as you remain here.
Yours promise. Okay.

(03:31:18):
You are my guests right now. You've already been harmed once
in my care. I want it to happen again.
All right. Just relax.
I keep in mind as Shield, the Divination Shield up over this
restaurant at all times. They shouldn't be able to find
you. Okay, if they did, though, why
even I would be screwed. so, cigar smoke Just relax.

(03:31:44):
All right, if you must go to themirror, be my guest.
But if you leave this bar I don't know what happened to you.
We just quite a walk there, and the hex turns are not.
The least bit, the type to just,oh, what am I saying?
There are observant is all hell.Just you're still my guests.

(03:32:06):
All right. You should be safe here.
My very astute and professional host, Dora did, we'll turn them
away if they arrive here, that is all and you think he's
capable of that and he certainlyprofessional enough to turn them
away. And as I understand it, the
creatures from mechanisms still do follow the letter of the law.

(03:32:32):
True besides you'll tell the truth.
He hasn't seen you all day and you see a really Sly smile creep
over his face. How long would you let us be
guests here? Until our dinner is over and you
all have time to properly, look over contracts.
Unfortunately, when business hours in here, I will have to

(03:32:53):
kick you out though. That isn't for some time, we
hear at the turn and tortoise closed at midnight, feel free to
stay. Until then, in fact, I can even
leave you the room since when mycompany is not wanted besides, I
have a business to run you, somemore questions to stand up and

(03:33:13):
you see him lean out of his chair and sort of pace toward
you. Oh yes, of course.
I would love to remain as a lot, sir, you see?
Go ahead, I sort of look nervously at my friends, did it.
You guys seem like extremely pissed off by this or like
neutral or like, you know, grudgingly tolerant?
I look like I'm watching a car accident happened and I can't

(03:33:34):
stop it. Just really good.
Yeah. Good.
Give it a quick version. Check Natural 20 is weird.
The empath. Oh my God.
All right, let me, let me throw a couple things up.

(03:33:54):
Stop, you see hires car crash inreal life.
Cool. Um second off you see a sort of
flash of fiery light appear beneath demos for just a moment.
Oh, why won't you stand on the ship with me Demo it's sinking.

(03:34:17):
I won't go on it. Then you you look over.
You see Samir is very careful. Having some clay out of looks
like the back of his neck and placing it on his shoulder.
That's missing some and he has acompletely neutral expression on

(03:34:38):
this. Oh, neutral expression, control,
20 natural 2020, which parts of him like this is eyebrow.
Twitching, what's the giveaway here?
He has the most Stern looking eye for seen.
They look like he's staring daggers off in the distance and
you can tell he's thinking really hot okay.
Every once in a while he turns and looks at demos.
You can't tell if he also saw that flash of light but he does

(03:35:01):
look over at demos a few times and then he turns to flick C and
then he looks at flexi for a while was cold hard eyes and he
looks upset, okay? I'm not on the rotation though.
It seems like I got off. Scott free in the rotation.
This sort of between him divas and flexy.
I would like to ask you a few more questions, like see how was

(03:35:23):
a good time. You said you got a Nat 20,
right? It's yeah, it's not.
All right. Um, you notice jackknife also
looks extremely nervous. She sort of looking off in the
distance and scratching at her deck on she looks like she's
really but you can tell that shefeels a little safer, see around
him being a, you know, somewhat impressive, looking devil.

(03:35:44):
Additionally, you also notice Malaga, sort of turn around and
call loudly and you see a brightflash of light up here.
I love my brother. He turns back and he's got some

(03:36:04):
like, grease on him and some ashfrom something that exploded in
his face. He smiles, dumbly, Malgus, I
hope to God, you wish to fix your disease.
What? Oh no.
I got something better. What'd you get nothing?
We'll do it. Your lights are not.
Throw around. You have a soul.

(03:36:27):
We're not in. You have a soul.
I am a soul. And my soul is going to work for
flexi for 100 years. I've worked.
My soul's worked for a lot of people for a lot longer.
Yeah. You know how long or a face dick
Road literacy probably thousands?
Well that's because it's really and now what do you give up your
life for just a what a business you believe in that?

(03:36:49):
But that's worth it. I need answers higher.
There are other ways to get things. 100 years of working in
a kitchen, isn't the hardest? Thing.
There's far worse. Fate that can last much longer.
I think you got a much better deal than I could get or if he

(03:37:12):
is watch. Watch was your dealer.
Well, no more in my contract. Does it say that?
My soul would be returned after 100 years.
Does it say? So in yours says, I get to go
back to Valhalla. I suppose I don't know about the
ownership of it. Oh, mine only says, my soul
would be delivered and 100 Yearsof culinary service.
Hmm, as well. Honestly, regardless it's worth

(03:37:35):
it for me. Um, I politely pushed my
contract to the front of the table flexi nods and sort of
starts circling. He'll puffing on to go just an
offer of ship again. Please don't take this as
anything else. I'm not trying other Army of I
like you and I consider you strong Allah.
What I'm offering job to work for me once you pass on, you may

(03:37:56):
live your entire life here I again I'm sure you all know that
there is a clause in each and every one contracts stating a
way to get out of this, a competition of sorts and the
entire time will be working for me.
You'll be mastering raft. Just a thought, alright, I have
lost before, but in fact he's mySmiles at this moment, we'll

(03:38:16):
pull out the clan, I'll keep a hold of it but appreciate the
offer or face. I hope that it's worth it to
you, you know. Ultimately it's your decision.
I'm not gonna judge you either way for it.
So I hope you don't feel that negative this from me.
Thank you that there I can. See why someone would make this

(03:38:37):
deal. I agree.
It's your own decision to make. I think it's a bit different for
me. To know where I'm going.
And I know it will be like when I get there.
Good. Well, I suppose you're forced to
enjoy my lovely and establishment until you feel
safe enough to leave from those hexed and monsters walking
around the base of this Tower. They're moving around right now.

(03:39:00):
I should sort of looks off in the distance and you can tell
these looking into some sort of spell Clairvoyance perhaps the
most you recognize this. In fact, you cast this earlier
today, And he speaks quietly. Almost mumbling to himself.
Yes it looks like the pair of them are headed now to oh that's
too bad. Looks like it's the baker.

(03:39:20):
Oh. Shit.
Know, not to worry that creatures of reason.
They wouldn't kill anyone that didn't earn.
It could've walked doesn't know where we are.
Exactly. Now.
Jack knife, what did you tell her what?
Yeah, yeah, I mean of course I went to go straight remarks
shit, man. I left all my stuff there,

(03:39:41):
jackknife gestures around at all, you know, it's just a
regular fine clothes that she's wearing all my suitcases, my go
back, I left them there and I I didn't tell her where I was
going, but I said I would be back later because I needed to
get out of town. She knows where I am or well,
she knows I'm still in town. Did you say anything about us?
No, no I didn't. I was smart enough to not

(03:40:03):
mention you guys at all but um, I did mention that I needed to
get out of town. So shit, if the fucking robots
are smart enough, they might learn that.
That means that I've seen you guys, which means I'm trying to
escape them. I don't think they'll hurt
Grimlock, but they'll definitelybe searching.
This whole town is there. Anywhere else we can go Old
Malaga has one idea. Oh God.

(03:40:24):
What's the idea malagos? Oh, it's a good one.
All right, let me Pitch you on this.
Where is the safest place in Sword?
We have to stay here all night, right?
We have to wait for the mq recharge.
Yeah, and he points straight up and he goes Gabby Lady of pains
old flying Force, right? Do it.
No. Got to be.
Alright, gotta be. So how do we get there?
We have to go through that shityunderwater.

(03:40:46):
Now platform thing that goes to a blah blah and what the very
top floor of a building but you know what doesn't hurt when you
jump for it? Seven stories up water I propose
we all jump out of 60 window no fancy that down seven floors.
Well baby. Down down, seven, floors, land

(03:41:13):
in the wall. Then swim to the lady of pains
Fortress. Stay there.
They certainly wouldn't attack her.
I mean, you know, maybe they canbeat up old fiction here, but
they definitely would leave her.She seems for all I have the
water. I think, we all would well.
Now, everyone's just gonna hate on Old Man, against the ideas
guy. I'm just whining, otherwise.

(03:41:33):
Yeah, don't worry, get us down there.
I mean, I've heard ulam can teleport spiders, so why can't
do them teleport me? I suppose I mostly hung up on
us, staying at the lady of Haines place for the whole
night. Well, it wouldn't be.

(03:41:55):
Out, if you were her, you sort of raises his eyebrows that you
do them, if you are with her, ifyou were, I don't know.
I lost my if you were in her. Wait, wow.
What wouldn't you take pity on us.
Trying to hide from some evil fuckers.
You know she doesn't want peopleparade through her Town killing
people left and right. We are the saviors of the rental

(03:42:15):
or so. I've been told I think we do
better off going to have Sexes place.
And trying to find a way to watch her sheep.
I am reminded that the lady of pain gave us permission to use
in the end of Africa's private doors at It it is a great idea.
What a face. I think I agree.
Oh God! You said that scary, why are we

(03:42:38):
hatred on door low? No, not It was.
Who said it's scary. Oh man, I'm ready to go.
When you are or fuck? My it's gonna be a Mad Dash.
Yeah. But we're fast but you're fast.
I have spells that can help makesome of you fast.
There's like seven of us. If everyone gets in the bag, I
could take a safely. What would be your method?
I could teleport myself. 500 feet.

(03:43:00):
I also have control water if we wanted to go the water out.
So you know I could be able to certainly diminish the fall to
know the image to no fall damage.
Say there's a thinking, man, a washer man sort of the water
guy. Yeah.
That's good. And the ideas.
Yeah. Feel that kind of past life.

(03:43:22):
I was The Watcher guy. My brother is not.
Dead. Oh my God.
Stop it. And that can fuck Danielle
campaigns. Oh, pesky wife first.
Exactly, you know, in the, in the effort of being more open

(03:43:47):
and I'd like to share my contract, I don't plan on
signing it for well, I'd actually rather use my years and
dedicate them to Queen's readers, and I don't think this
would help our cars very much, but I think it's rather
interesting and as the devil wassaying, I believe this
information in this before I even signed it look here.
You sort of gestures to extract and Abel invite all of you.

(03:44:08):
Is it like is he pointing at where it asks for his signature
know? He points at sort of the middle
of the the, you know, the matterare you looking at the bottom?
Oh yeah. No, we're stuff going on in the
bottle. I, I would look at the bottom of
his first. What signature does it ask for?

(03:44:29):
If reads signature of Sir Abel night.
Oh good, let me find it. Okay, here it is.
Signature of Sir Abel fractured night and promising human.
What are you looking at? My contract is dead, but I was

(03:44:54):
nice to Turtle. It said nothing about me being
human. Well.
Back. Now, I want to go back.
I just enjoy spinning my time here.
Or a fair, someone can enjoy that time and the material plane
and not be some sort of permanent human this way.
You're going to stay this way fractured night.

(03:45:17):
There's nothing Eternal about that.
There's nothing sworn about that.
What is your say? Hmm, Eternal, sworn really.
It's at night. It's hurdle night, Eternal,
really? That's what you consider
yourself night. Eternal.
Have you considered that? This is written by a man who
just met me 20 God damn minutes ago.
Oh, he doesn't. He's just leaning into things.

(03:45:41):
You've known me for 1000s of years or a face.
He's just making guesses, Ed? Yes, yes.
Are more accurate than anything I thought I knew what,
certainly, some of them are wrong.
Like, for example, this one any points at the middle matter
again, look here, look at my mind.
Reads, says here, that accordingto this, some sort of extra
planar, chronomancer warlock is looking for me trying to find me

(03:46:03):
and and has some sort of way to make me a permanent human.
He? It says a if I sign this, I'll
get in contact with this chronomancer, warlock or
whatever. And then perhaps, they'll offer
me some sort of humanity, but you see, I'm not signing it.
That's the point of this place. I'm casting this out for, it has

(03:46:25):
no bearing on me. It won't further my goals,
Valhalla, or with Greenville to see all rather with you.
This is a way out or Affairs, this way to abandon all that I
care for. If this flexi believes he
understands me. He understands nothing.
I'm not the type to abandon my friends or my post.
If this wizard wants to find me or like, whatever he better
damn, well shut looking because I won't help at all.

(03:46:45):
I don't believe a word out of your mouth or a face that he
shoves it for it even more further out of his reach.
You signed yours without a second.
What did it say? What an offer to change bodies?
I bet to find some sort of way back to redeem to gross letter
feed for forgiveness. What is it?
It was Plexi would go to Valhalla for today and I could

(03:47:09):
see through his eyes to see everything.
Honestly, but in you trust him to show you exactly what you
want to see. What if you just bums around on
the battlefield for a day, I canwrite instructions of what he's
to do while he's there. And you think that the gods of
Valhalla would just let him approach reader.
See you really thought through this or a phase.
You thought that you could see your queen once again and talk

(03:47:30):
to her. Like she was there in front of
you, come now have some sense, he won't see her at all.
He'll barely speak to any of thenight above us, all our level, I
mean, I mean, he's got to speak to the Palace guards and they
won't let him passed. He said, yes.
There some sort of tourist. What's the last time you ever
remember? An outsider in batala?
It's practically unheard of, andyou think back and you truly

(03:47:51):
can't remember? Yes, but they were all enemies.
Who in awkward who of our friends are comrades?
None of them. They will not let him be close
to her. You want to speak to see.
I don't know the answer to your question able, but I look
forward to finding out who amongour court wasn't.
Honest come. Now you're gonna spend 100 Years

(03:48:14):
of time that you could have beenserving by to see in some damn
kitchen. I'd rather spend a thousand
years of time serving someone else, then another minute
serving someone who I don't evenknow to trust.
Well, it's scary to trust rid. Of course I I'm scared of it
too. I mean, the information I've
been told you're breaking her orders.

(03:48:36):
Your saying things about knowingbetter breaking her orders.
You've been breaking your order, the entire time you've been
here. If you are truly a follower, you
would have listened to me. Second, she arrived don't have
a, she asked. She was also Superior whether
you like it or not. First, she wasn't nice appear
well more than you do. She was, oh, she didn't and, You

(03:48:59):
said? You whole time and none of you
remembered either, but you not. I'm alive.
Okay, you're right. I lied about, I wanted to seem
like I knew because everyone else did and I made a few things
up. I'm an artist.
That's what I do. I make up stories.
I tell them to the youth, to thenew, to the arrived.

(03:49:19):
Wrong with me. I thought I'd done some things
so bad I couldn't bear to remember it.
And you all let me believe that and you all treated me like it
was the truth or face. You never spoke to us of such
mental hardships that we teased you about it.
If I had known anything of this,I would have dropped at the
moment anymore. Just like that.

(03:49:39):
You're gonna give up on me. Come now or a face.
You're not the type to get quiet.
Fight it out, Get Loud. Punch me.
God damn it. Proved yourself the nights that
I know quiet really silence. Is that what we've come to now?
I just look away God's dammit. We still have to solve this damn
problem in front of us, just shove me in a bag.
I'll go wherever, I'm sorry, jack knife.

(03:49:59):
I don't know how to help you right now, turns to you and
size. You see her reach into her coat
and pull out a small flask and sort of politely offer it to
you. I like nod.
But shake my head. He's sort of.
Like how? Yeah, I know means.

(03:50:20):
No. And no.
Yes means. Yes.
Exactly to get it. We really should get going Jack
and I speaks up. I understand there's a lot to
talk about about all this, but let's just pick a plan.
All right, I think that perhaps,I don't know jumping into the
water from Seven stories up would be quite dangerous.

(03:50:42):
What if we just followed do? I don't know.
I both ideas sound fine with just, I want to get out of here.
Let's make it decision. Now.
I think we should follow Dylan. Sure who would like to be the
other person with me? I can support two of us.
We can hold one bag each. I can be your strong, man, if
you want to do them. Thank you, man.
Member The boys, the boy. It's a boy band.

(03:51:06):
Oh One big boy band. All right, I suppose then do
them. You passed one of your bags off
to the most for my knowledge. Which bag would you like the one
that's cursed forever, or that is normal?

(03:51:28):
Oh, hold on to the curse forever.
Okay, Inside the other one, thenyou can fit two people.
So, um, I'll walk towards that one and grab mallus by the
Scruff. Okay, where we going?
You're coming, did you see? I signed my document.
I had trouble picking up the pana little bit because I think I
got drunk. Oh, by the way, I just want to

(03:51:49):
say, I feel like it was a bit offensive for him to get a shot.
I need it's like a bit curse of you sort of dragged him along as
you start to point out things over my shoulder.
I just normally I guess um and is there anyway I can call you
or contact. You did I forget to give you my
card, know you I can't cast sending on my own.
Oh, card or face. It's not sending just pick it

(03:52:11):
up. Oh, I'll reach around my pocket
and hold the card. Does it?
Let me talk to him at all? You hold it.
Just looks like a card. But you see flexi reach into his
pocket and pull out and identical one, and holds it up
to his mouth and Whispers in it and you hear my pocket and give
him a nod, not. Well, I don't know, don't abuse

(03:52:33):
that. By the way, I can have it burned
up in any moment, I'll only talkto you and I really need to
everyone in the party. Knows, this means I'm going to
be it, like no one's just Good luck with your your escape from
the hexagons and thank you againfor a fine dinner.
All, I'll escort you out and getyou as far away from the

(03:52:55):
building on this floor, as I can.
And from then, you're on your own.
I hope you all enjoyed your stayat the Turning tortoise, and
please come back anytime and be happy to die with you again
though. Next time you'll be paying the
bill. He smiles below demonstrate,
Malik is sort of gropes at a whoa.
Higher Walker with us coming here, come here.

(03:53:18):
Hey man, well, we're all being honest, what did your say was
it? Like finally get some bitches?
Hi Orchestra, dragged on into that bag, leaving the other one
Williams bag to Jaya and I suppose the most you're out in
the open, its Jaya and Abel. You see some are sort of go

(03:53:39):
along as well and Pat you on theback, calmly twice dulum, thank
you for doing this to them. This very kind thing.
Good to go to know, thank you. So here, you know, and begins to
sending the Rope. Jaya you head down as well, I
presume. Yeah.
You head down into Dooms bag. You get that sickly Feeling
Again of being someplace. You're not supposed to and it
just doesn't quite feel right. And on top of that, you also

(03:54:01):
smell something, it's like clothsort of wet cloth.
And it reminds you of that nightthat you can climbed out of this
bag and try to attack the group and reminds you and triggers,
you of a bad memory and you sortof shake off a chill.
As you arrive to the bottom, yousee able join you and you sort
of jumps from foot to foot and he looks angry.
Oh Sergeant God damn it. I'm quite enraged.

(03:54:24):
Are you willing to spot with me a bit?
I need to let out Here. And this time, we'll be me.
I will not let Malika Do It. Um, yeah.
It would be, it's gonna be a good fight.
Oh, thank you sergeant and I won't draw my blade.
I just want to throw a couple punches.
I hope that's all right. God, dammit.
I expect you to put me back to. I need the goddamn stimulation
and he sorts of burnt bounces back and forth on his feet and

(03:54:46):
he holds up his in a boxing formation.
I guess. It's so boxing as well.
Cool. All right, you want to just give
me like a rote Athletics check and we'll see how you do.
Also able just as a reminder, when we Spar, we do not spark a
kill. We simply stop before any left,
right? And injuries.

(03:55:07):
Yes, yes, I'm aware. Thank you, Sergeant.
I might teach you a couple of times, but the second I see you
bloodied. I'll stop.
And you do the same? Yes.
Yeah. 21 bit. Oh wow.
All right. Able got a tan.
So you are you a ranging on thisbitch?
He's sloppy, he's a bit angry and you could tell it's making
him slow and kind of stupid. His punches are all.
Recipe and fast and you catch a couple in the shoulders and you

(03:55:30):
block a couple of arms and you could tell.
He's really getting a lot of anger out as he punches with a
lot of force, but it's not very skillful.
You throw a couple of Jabs in and you catch one right in his
neck and you crush it a little bit.
Eventually you also catch them on the side of the face and you
see a bit of blood dribble down, sort of near his cheek and out
of his mouth as he bits out someblood from his mouth and the two

(03:55:51):
of you guys Spar for a bit there, I do want to coach him
kind of through it like you know, telling him the focus in
his energy a little bit more like to you know keep his arms
up, keep it tight. Okay.
You are you coach him along the way?
You can tell he's still he's a bit.
Angry monsters are curse, but helistens to what you're saying.
You say, keep your arms and to keep it tight and he goes yes

(03:56:11):
Sergeant. I know that obviously but then
you see him tuck his arms in andtry a little bit so he's
responding to the coaching but you can tell these bit worked
up. Yeah, so if you guys work at it
for a while, you know notice some are sort of walks off and
just sort of sits down Chris crossed applesauce on the floor
and just sort of just You got? Um, outside of the bag.
Now, remains dulum and demos jackknife, walks over and puts a

(03:56:35):
hand on. Dulum gives you a nod and begins
descending into the bag leaving guys out.
Flicks, guys, you all to the front of his establishment and
gives you both a nod. Thank you again for your kind
patronage. The two of you were of
particular interest to me tonight.
I do hope you come by and see me.
I do get so bored here. Thank you and have a pleasant

(03:56:55):
evening. He points you in the direction
of Zach's storefront and you cansee it a couple Towers away.
All right. What would you like to do?
Um, look over at Flix. Thank you for C and then all
good and cast to mention door. All right, 500 feet, right?
Yeah. All right.
You step through the door dragging, demos along 60, waves.

(03:57:16):
His hands as you go and you feelspace move around you.
And you pull yourself through into the far distant Tower,
you're able to transport yourself one and about.
Half Towers way on bridge leading towards is shop.
You appear in space only 30 feetfrom the door and you and demos

(03:57:36):
bit of a dash getting there in about six seconds arriving at
the door. If you look back and forth as
you get there and you see nobodyseems to have seen you nobody's
bothering. You don't see any huge enormous.
Robot creatures. Paroling this patrolling the
streets, looking you see into a variety safely and as you
approach the door you find a small lock on it with the key

(03:57:58):
already inside twist the key andthe lock comes right off.
You open the door and enter the completely abandoned Zach's
shop. You look across and see
something a bit interesting. The giant Fractured Mirror is
missing for the first time you've ever been in this room.
It's not here and you see paint shits and what looks like sort
of dust and debris and just sortof, you know, the general

(03:58:20):
leaving things of somebody who didn't clean up too much behind
where the mirror you used to be.It's been taken out the lady of
pain looks To have poached it from the building leaving, truly
just a nice piece of Real Estate.
You make your way to the side door, which has been propped
open now so that nobody misses secret and passed away into the
back room. The small square of grass has
been completely removed. The post also gone all that

(03:58:44):
remains in this room. Besides an empty table is the
three simple oak doors on the opposite end from your Perfect
Memory. Dulum, you remember that one of
them are left door to the red plane.
The salt plain that you can perform the red ritual, the
middle door. If you recall was a sort of a
door to a large swath of cows, apasture of sorts, you don't

(03:59:06):
remember much else from that specific the right door.
You haven't opened yet and you recall from your perfect
memories talking and rather teasing you all about not
entering doors, you're not allowed.
He made a mention that the last time someone perusing through
all of his doors, they fell right into the plane of element
acid you stand in the three closed doors are in front of you

(03:59:27):
with the two of you guys like todo. - look over at demos so we
let them out now. Yes.
Open our Rags. Don't you spell everybody?
A higher you or a phaius and Malice were sweetness ride.

(03:59:48):
The three of you guys. Were pressed up next to each
other and malaga's foot with push into your stomach and
orfeas. You think somebody was like
clawing at your back for room? And it was just very, I was You
look? Oh my God.

(04:00:13):
Probably. What has he done that?
So evil, taking your souls. I was an offer though.
He didn't steal them. Isn't that what devils are
supposed to do? Fiends.
Yeah. But like he offered it to us and
he was sort of a nice about it even answered our questions like

(04:00:33):
I don't know. It didn't feel like we were
coerced. I agree, I get it.
It's not for everyone and the 100 years thing is crazy.
For me, it was worth it. Maybe the deals were of
different qualities. Like I don't know what he
offered you higher but I don't know.
Maybe maybe it just I just saw the value and what did he offer
you? Um I I sort of want to see how
it works out. First before I share, that's

(04:00:57):
okay. I'll share soon.
I promise I just I want to see how the first part of this goes,
okay. Sorry, I'm sure you understand.
I tell you soon. I really will.
I just honestly, I'm only I'm almost a little impressed about
so would give my life to protectany of your souls for much less
than 100 years. I cope it was worth it.
Well, thanks higher. But I mean it is our souls, you

(04:01:20):
know. We get to decide what to do with
it. Our souls our choice.
Yeah, sure. I want to sort of put a hand on
malaga's shoulder. I'm glad you signed the deal
Ally. Of course, I mean, I wouldn't
let you be the only one. I hope our 100 years overlap.
At least some oh shit. You think what?
We're working on the same kitchen.

(04:01:40):
All fuck, do it if you die, I'llkill myself.
So I that's what I was gonna do,too fuck.
Out what he tries to the high five view, it's a hug.
Wait, just to make sure you're working in the infernal kitchen
too, right. Yeah, I think that's the big
one. What are you doing there?
What's your job? Oh, he said, I am.
Hold on. Let me see it here.
Uh, soup Superboy. What are you?

(04:02:02):
I'm the butcher. I'm the Carver?
Oh, carvery. That means you'll be chopping up
meat and throwing them in my stoop pretty much what they're
doing. Valhalla too.
So, oh, that's sort of rude. Yeah, it's okay.
He called me soup, boy, cuz I'm not good at a lot.
I heard that's such a, she always means you call someone
Superboy know. I don't think I bet we're going

(04:02:30):
to work together a bunch. You know, all bringing you both
for the broths. I think and All Star chunks of
beach for the stews into the soups.
Hey man, did you hear what he was saying about like vacations?
Like this just ain't gonna be like, a 24-hour gay.
I think we get like time off andshit we could go on vacation
together. Yeah.
I mean, you know, it could be one of those like Evil devil
deals where it's like, you get aone minute vacation every 100

(04:02:52):
years. But like, I feel like he
wouldn't do it like that. I got way less than that.
In Valhalla. What I thought you were like
sleeping around in that castle wax that you made?
Oh, it's Not made of wax and I was not sleeping.
What's the matter sleeping around?
Candlelight wax here. Okay, and just at that point,
you guys all get dumped out of the bag.

(04:03:13):
Fucking God. Oh, you loved it in their
higher. You guys like hugged in there
and I like I'm like third wheel.I think you were included in the
hog higher. There was no, my arm was pressed
around. I just tired person.
I don't know, higher, your family.
You're part of the hog too. You see, demos out of your bag.

(04:03:33):
These people are just hugging onthe, oh, what happened in that?
We're all making up and making out.
Oh, don't make it gross. Now, I guess singer.
Nobody likes him out of your bag.
Duel him, you pour out a jackknife and Samir who both,

(04:03:54):
sort of slop out and Jaya on your way up with able, you hear
a distant sound the bag of something living go.
And you quickly Scamper out of there before anything else
happens. Guys are something in there.

(04:04:15):
Many things. I do not want to go in that bag
anymore. I'll take the next one.
Thank you. That's one of us there as you
pour out, Jaya and Abel. You notice Abel, has a couple of
bruises along his body and lookslike a bloody lip.
Oh, were you two fighting bad creatures in there?
No, not at all. This was gears doing Sergeant
beat me up quite nice. Thank you Sergeant, anytime.
It was a mutual thing. We were sparring, don't think

(04:04:38):
that I was just being, you know,I was no it wasn't a spa season.
Was beating me into submission. Telling me that I was being a
bad boy. Why don't you know, I'm due for
some well, just obedience training, ever once in a while.
I'm not perfect, I understand. Thank you, sergeant.

(04:05:03):
Doors here, shall I just open door?
I'm free. I believe in where all them go
except for this one. You guys want to do like a poop
in school Gambit for the third one?
And you know that's what could that possibly mean.
Look at that. Oh, I'll be at the door.
You guys all go on the Next Room.
Yo. You get a long rope.
You attached it around my waist,I'll open the door and then you

(04:05:25):
just pull me back as hard as possible.
Okay. Something jumps at.
So it's like a poop in school. I don't.
Yeah, I like your plan, just notthe name at all but the plan is
good. But the plan works.
We can use a dolem self-winding,Rob.
Then you can pull me real fast or do them.
You could do your magic with hamand I like, you know, teleport

(04:05:47):
that could work. All right.
Clear out, my leg is Gonna Save the Day.
So time, some rope, you wrap some rope around his ways, drag
it away a little bit. Jackknife sort of looks to you
guys and gives you sort of a nervous.
I wish I got to go see Grimlock one more time before we left,
but this is the right decision, right?
I think so. Keep yourself safe.
You're right. You're right and wants to solve

(04:06:08):
blows over. I'll come back.
Thank you. All again for looking.
After me, she sort of rubs her medal arm and goes.
I, I really don't know what elseto say.
I owe you a lot and everyone. Yeah, please know.
Hire you, you're saving me. You all are this is a good thing
you're doing and I can't thank you enough.
You've done us a great law. Of course anything.
And with that the group of you guys all step back about 30

(04:06:31):
feet, Malika stands at the door,he looks back and goes.
All right, I'm gonna teleport meor pulled me.
I need to know what I need to beall through.
The teleport. You all right.
Thank you, buddy. And you see him Lean Forward,
grab the door handle, twist it slowly, then throw it open
behind him. You don't love.

(04:06:51):
I'm gonna die. He holds his hands out in front
of his face. Nothing seems to happen in front
of them. You just see what looks like a
dark Corridor. But you tell a quarterback 30
feet and he clutches at his chest and his pearls and he
goes, oh, do I was gonna die? You look forward into the open
door and you see what looks likea Dusty dark broom closet.
A couple of broom spill into theroom.

(04:07:13):
And they look to be another doorway, just five feet in front
of it and you see light spillingin underneath it, Ah, broom say
the broom Dimension. That's important, I guess for
cleaning your home. There's just rooms in there.
We should probably go in close the door.
Wait for a little bit the group. If you guys all approach a bit

(04:07:34):
closer guys. I think it's just the inside of
a closet. See that's what they want you to
think. And he wrote it does just look
like a broom Clause, you step into it.
It's about five feet deep and there's a wall on the far and
and walls on the walls. Haha, left and right side seam
to be walls and it's filled withice, the looks to be some crown

(04:07:56):
molding along the walls and there's sort of pattern simple
geometric. Oh we're closed.
Come now. That's can't be it.
Okay, this is my bed. We should go that there's always
another secret, right? There's always another secret.
Okay, we've tried all three doors, right?
Oh God, why would he have a broom closet?

(04:08:18):
Magically Enchanted here, able to steps behind the door and
waves and in true enough. It is a Magic Door.
Why don't you just build it intothe dab wall?
Hmm. The most is gonna step in and
try to open the next door into the broom closet.
Yes, you step in. Give me a just like a perception
check while you're in here. It's pretty dark.

(04:08:41):
Irrelevant. You're you travel in and push
past the brooms and turn off on the far wall.
You find a very M, almost flush with the wall door handle.
You grab it and sort of click it, open and light begins to
pour into the room. The broom closet.
Is you open into what looks likea small study.
The broom closet seems to be just an intermediary as you step

(04:09:02):
into the study and you see booksaround you academic supplies and
you smell old, musty are like a Bookshop.
There's a window on the far walland you stare out of it to see
but looked like buildings, the tops of buildings, the sky a
beautiful blue and cloudy sky and a few seagulls flying by.

(04:09:24):
Seagulls seagulls. Well, it looks safe.
Do you guys? I don't the most is gonna go
walk to the window to look outside.
See if it looks familiar, you plug forward and sure enough,
you recognize the building you're in, you look around and
you walk to the one of the otherends of the study.
There's another door half a jar and it was small diagonal
hallway that leads out into a large and familiar lecture hall.

(04:09:47):
You seem to be in the back room of zebras is very own lecture
inside of the academic ward in waterdeep.
Oh, my God. We made it nice.
This looks like, it's just the academy.
You guys looks like it's safe. All right, you see the Academy
Award back in waterdeep, your home.
Safe the most you travel in and the rest of you guys.

(04:10:09):
I assume one follow. Yeah, yeah.
All right, this cramped room is pretty dark.
Actually, there aren't any lights in Africa shop anymore so
really the only light you have is the flickering light of sun
gleaming, and through the broom Clause, it portal.
Travel through as guys as we leave.
Should we cast like, Arcane lockon the door?

(04:10:30):
Or should we just, like, let anybody anybody's like, do we
think there's any chance that they can track US to where we
are right now? See, because I don't know if if
it was like Doolin picking up that old.
I'm pretty sure it was that because Doula brought it to
jackknifes bar. And that was where they were
looking for us. Most like if they had been

(04:10:52):
looking around more, I feel likethey would have been like going
to seniors place, you know. So I'm kind of thinking they're
just systematically searching for us.
Now, in which case, I feel Lady of pain would probably end up
stopping them before they got toever so house.
At the same time, I don't know if we lose anything by casting
arcade lock. The only worry is that, if they
spotted Us in those 30 feet thatwe dashed, Through did you see

(04:11:15):
them anywhere? Did she see any sign of them
know but we were running. So it's sort of hard to see
amazing remembering the layout of circad do.
I think Grandma's Bakery is anywhere near the 30 feet.
They ran to get into this ever explains.
You think back give me a quick. History.
Check. Yeah. 18 you recall.

(04:11:36):
It's hard to remember. The Grimlocks shop is on the
bottom floor of one of the buildings.
So it has a nice view of all theother Towers from a bottom up
angle. You can't recall if this exact
Bridge was fully visible, but you remember that this bridge is
at least partially visible to Grimlock shop shit.
Okay, we should lock it. I think Nice.

(04:11:57):
I will cast iron lock once. Everyone is going in.
All right, the rest of you guys push through the broom closet.
You get all the crew of you as well as your PC buddy.
Is jack knife, poked in and it gives one more thankful nod to
demos and duel him as you guys. Hang back, do them, you should
begin heading your way in and the most Justice, the last
person begins heading in. You make your way to the door to

(04:12:19):
lock it down your approach during your conversation a bit
of time pass trying to do. And you take proximately five
steps out of this secret room and toward the front door.
When something strange happens in front of you, the front
windows of this, abandoned shop a warp and Shake.
Oh vibrating. Oh my God.

(04:12:43):
You see dust begin to drift downfrom the rafters of you with
something very distant away outside the windows, you see
something far away but not far only 30 feet outside of the Door
on the very bridge that you taketo get to Zach's shop outside of
that Dusty glass. You see something three times

(04:13:03):
the height of a man, a massive creature with golden eyes.
Looking around. Oh, You see the golden eyes.
Almost like headlights, King left and right.
It shines off the steel metal ofits body.
And you see six long segmented outside its head, then turns.

(04:13:24):
And you see just from the distance, there's sort of a
metal face, a smooth brass mask that stares out.
It looks toward the shop and yousee the headlights glean through
the dusty windows and you sort of pull back and stinks totally
up against the wall, the headlights glare into the shop
and then the lights, slowly turnaway.

(04:13:44):
It doesn't move it stands there, and sort of watches.
So thanks. So where am I at in the you've
taken just a few steps out of the secret room?
You still sort of the back reaches of the shop.
In fact, it's nearly pitch blackback here.
You're not sure much would illuminate you much in dim
light, so you're not sure anything saw.
But to approach the front door would be to get that much closer

(04:14:08):
to the culture that seems to just stand on the bridge.
Look around. So I guess maybe I would just
Arcane lock the the secret back door.
Got it. You grab the edge of the door
slowly draw it shut and just as you see the crack close in front
of you, you see the headlights lean back to the shop and stop
staring right in and watching the door.

(04:14:30):
Close you close it. Hold out your hands.
Casting to quick or Kane long and turn around seeing the brute
Pleasant View. What do you want to do?
Oh, I guess I'm both into the room closet, you run toward it.
You're now illuminated not only by the light of day outside of
the broom closet, but also a bright burning headlight, that

(04:14:51):
seems to be getting just a hair brighter.
Oh, leaning from underneath the Secret Door.
You dash through closing the door behind you into the broom
closet. That is where we're gonna end
our session tonight. Oh, thank you guys for a great
session. Good job.
Lot of exciting stuff happening.Time a lot of tension.

(04:15:12):
A lot of tension. Wow.
Up a good stuff. So I hope you guys enjoyed this
episode. You guys finally went into
devil. You know I have had the reason
it took me so long to actually write and give you guys the
contractors. I've actually had those
contracts from like the first time you had really?

(04:15:34):
Yeah because just this is you know, one of the characters you
guys met and could have gone to talk to and after making just
like a little bit of this, but it's you changed so much since
then that I wanted to make it more personal but anyway, it's
great. So I finally get to pull him
out. Yeah.
Some pretty good contracts. Yeah, I'm really yeah, I'm
curious if you all had like morehidden in them because my

(04:15:57):
handsome wild stuff I didn't know.
Yeah. Mine did too.
Mine called that. Interesting.
Okay how to be a soldier which oh He said that my life was in
that book, he knows what's gonnahappen.
What do you mean? You know I have to get you know,
he knows Okay. Well would you all like results?

(04:16:21):
Yeah. All right.
You guys in episode 29 tomb of diminished fifths.
We asked you. I'm gonna hear this.
Okay, what's in the back with another Question about as always
it will give you the results in echelons.

(04:16:42):
So our bottom Echelon which two were tied for was tiny monkey
bag of and monster Bag Man. Oh then second Echelon in second
place was friends, or no needs him.
And in third place, of course, giling slowpoke.

(04:17:05):
Yeah, little cowpoke. I love that.
I just love that. Okay.
I think our Poll for this episode has to be something like
would well, but the problem is, they haven't read our contracts.
So, I wanted to be like, who should have signed their
contract and you vote for all ofthe above.
Also, do we get the point? Now, where we see it's so hard

(04:17:27):
because I want the audience to know the butt.
Then you guys would know him. I would be willing to do the
thing where I like, mute my thing until you guys tell me to
come back and so everyone can share their contract one at a
time. And with the group or that, I
mean. Yeah.
I guess I already told you guys what mine was really then demos
is, is the one person big demos?Would you rather share with the

(04:17:48):
group? Have everyone else?
Mute their stupid, stinky butts.Okay, everyone is off, it's just
me and you demo. So would you like to share with
the crap? Oh, right.
So the most is contract that flicky, oh, so graciously gave
him and that, the most did sign his deal for one Soul, was that

(04:18:09):
demo. Now, once again, dream, so that
he can decipher these strange dreams that he has sort of been
receiving over the past couple nights.
Yeah. All right.
That is a great. Great for all.
I'm glad you signed it, too. This is gonna be exciting as

(04:18:30):
That. Oh my God I'm so hyped.
Dueling when you want to do yours.
So everyone's gonna be quiet now.
All right, let's do them. My ideal with Flexi was an
exchange for my soul and of course, 100 Years of servitude
in the, was it? The cutlery maintenance
department? Oh yeah, you were Cutlery

(04:18:50):
maintenance, that felt right foryou.
Yeah, that's just felt right. Overseeing, the colory, all
right, and exchange for that, I would get a list with names and
coordinates sort of like a map of all constructs and machines
that hold a piece of dulum, Soul, everyone.

(04:19:13):
That's a big deal to him. Very good.
Thank you. But your soul is important and
you just got it. Yeah.
Also, I was like, well, technically, with the wording,
it's technically, all One Soul. So then it's like, okay,
technically would every fractal, like every single, um, right?
Yeah, no, very smart. And in fact, that was reading

(04:19:35):
into a very, I actually, I challenge everyone else in our
group to read into It that way that was smart.
Oh, because no deal is for free, baby.
Next up, higher Vallejo. So um, I believe for the same
conditions, everyone else I would have to give up my soul.
Um, for 100 years I would get the location of an ancient

(04:20:00):
ethereum Temple and this location would be particularly
important. Because at this Temple, it would
reveal ethers true intent and what some indication of what she
will do in her future actions, which would give me.
It sounds like a lot of information and maybe some tools

(04:20:21):
to accomplish some religious ideals as well, which is
something I want. But now I know it exists.
So theoretically I could try to find it on my own first, very
nice. See, that's the critical
thinking we like high. We'll just head for their deals.
But you, you real You got information then then you gave
just by watching. That's pretty good.

(04:20:42):
I mean I haven't even I didn't even realize until today there
were like old a theory in temples and yeah so that first
got some information I like it. All right.
So thank you hire. That was good.
All right, it's just me and you know, Oh, they're all gone.
So would you please give everyone a brief view of you

(04:21:05):
sort of already did. But just a brief, what your deal
was and you know what, what the like further implications that
would. Yeah, so in exchange for one
soul and 100 Years of fucking service in a kitchen, I would
get a book. Titled will give Soldier inside,

(04:21:28):
just kind of details, different military traditions and the Bare
Bones of how to be a soldier andwhat makes a soldier a soldier.
Aha, um, and I guess for Jaya, he's always had a sense of
self-doubt of being a good soldier and he never really, I

(04:21:50):
guess had those same qualities that some of his siblings that
and the people around him that were in higher ranking,
positions did and it is temptingbecause he doesn't want to know
if there's something that he's missing in terms of his
character that might be the reason why he is the way he is
now and isn't as crazy as he could be.
But ultimately, he doesn't want to fucking cook for 100 years.

(04:22:15):
It's Pretty much just a book, there's nothing else.
Nothing magical about it. The way that I'm able to get out
of this contract, rather die is able to get out of this contract
is to win a culinary contest against flixi.su.
Very nice. All right, sweet.
See I like I like your take on it Jaya.

(04:22:36):
I also gained mation then you with just reading the contract.
You didn't have to fill it out and you got some good stuff.
Yeah. Yeah.
It's very nice. Very nice.
All right. So thank you.
And now it's just me and you in our face is just us.
Okay. So subtract pretty honestly, as
This could be assumed for such an honorable nice.

(04:22:59):
Um, essentially if okay, first off the beginning of my contract
was Really horny. He was like, Dating.
Oh, you burn with purpose? Anyways, then it got to the
point of the contract, which wasthat in exchange for my soul
delivered to flexi upon the cessation of my mortal existence

(04:23:22):
and 100 Years of loyal culinary service in the infernal kitchen.
I would receive the following a single viewing lasting.
No more than 24 hours of flicks himself as he travels to the
realm. I once called home Valhalla
there, he would carry my words, my questions and my intentions,
I could instruct him in writing beforehand, where to go home to

(04:23:45):
seek what truths to prod and he will act to the letter in turn.
I can watch through his eyes, you know, powerless, I don't get
to say anything. Well, is there?
But I'm there and I won't perceive any Illusions or
filters. I will see the world through his
eyes, the yearly and more true world.

(04:24:05):
It viewed from outside. The veil is specifically how he
described it. Um, yep, it.
All right, very nice. And what are the implications of
the implications of this? As far as auras concerned?
It's just an extra 100 years in there before he can go back to
Valhalla, which he is okay with. That's right now, he's very
upset with everyone in Valhalla.Force, specifically Oro doesn't

(04:24:29):
think he's lost his soul for good because flixi.su
Place to have auras social ignorance, vitamin in the ass.
So it's kind of like how could Inot just literally when flexi

(04:24:53):
revealed to Aura that everyone else in the afterlife had been
flying to him for a very long time.
So some of their interesting notes about my letter, it asked
for the signature of sore or a face night Eternal of the term
court for gotten obviously stoodout.
Bro, that's not something he's ever heard.

(04:25:14):
Valhalla referred yeah. A very nice, very nice.
All right, thank you or some Nation.
Now, I will go ahead and bring it back for us to give our poll.
