All right, you guys. Welcome back to run pack goes
play and walking episode 36. Let's get into it.

(00:54):
Last time we began in what a deep uh we were all so to split
up damos was visiting Samson, the black goat mask wearing
potentially masked Lord he had met at the masquerade ball some
amount of time ago. However as day most arrived at

(01:14):
Samson's manner he discovered that Samson had been gone for a
while but the most mysteriously heard the sounds of a party
nearby. All of the people working there
were acting super sketchy including the cook Belvidere who
demos had befriended on his lastvisit to this Mansion Davos used
on earned filled with bread Ash that I guess he just carries

(01:38):
around with him now. Oh elicit.
Sympathy and then he also neededa bathroom break basically, to
listen in on the people at the dinner party because everyone
was acting. So cagey he knew there was
something a foot and strangely, the people of the dinner party
seemed to be discussing the changes.

(01:58):
They planned to make to Samson'smanner, as well as other changes
to sort of Samson's life. They plan on which is very odd.
But Samson's voice was not present at the dinner party.
Um you know while higher and Monty had a heart-to-heart with
multi still being a heavely against the goddess Athena,
their goddess. Theoretically.

But I guess Monty's? No longer.
Um, dulum lent me, 30 gold pieces for Oro and Samir and
dulum to buy more of the ingredients.
They'll need to craft some magicitems party has requested.
Um, afterwards. We realized that we remembered
we had a dinner date with Flexi the demon, all the way back in
circad. Um, so we collected Jaya and

Deimos, and all our other Pals and warped to Water Deep to The
Tartan tortoise flexees restaurant.
Um, however we sort of got sidetracked jack knife is
looking for us and said, there was an emergency apparently
creatures from mechanicus had been visiting her every night to
ask if she'd seen Doom. So we agreed to take her to lie,
low, in the material plane. She also mentioned A Clockwork

(03:05):
guy, a separate entity who had come to ask about Doom, who was
following these creatures from mechanicus and clearly not
working with them. He was also asking about the
phylactery, implying him in dulum had that in common, or at
the very least, were both considered outcasts from
mecanicas. This guy also mentioned that his

(03:25):
jaw was taking out, corrupted Aristocrats.
And then he had left to do a joband would return to circad to
look again for Delaware. When he came back, this were all
here in through jack knife. We learned.
He was going to the plane the fall backs A small plane um and
do them remember that all Clockwork men have spider

(03:45):
familiar. So we searched jackknifes bar
for one and found his spider which we took with us hoping
that the Clockwork guy could useit to track US.
After all that we sent. We invited jackknife to
accompany us to dinner with Flexi and then went to dinner
there. We all had assigned seats that
we had to pull one up for jack knife and there was an iron box

beneath each seat. Um, we talked with Flexi for a
while. He had sort of like directed
very intense conversation plan. For each of us where he asked us
questions. He asked today, most questions
about the court, wizard of Water, Deep Davidson's, ex

Mentor Volker, though, demos didn't admit that, um, he
mentioned that he knew things about the name.
Neff, if you'll remember from the Symphony of Nest we've been
Tracking, but he would not give us more information and less we
could successfully. Guess what was under our seats.
Um, this part was fun. I like to hear you guys guessing

a lot actually, realized something else that I didn't
notice during these conversations, like that because
he had made a comment, That under which I thought was
addressed to me that the thing under my seat, explain the
difference between humanity and Golems, but I'm realizing that
probably was directed at a different party member.
Oh so we were guessing throughout a higher.

Asking if it was an entry from his own journal which flexi said
was surprisingly, close Jaya thought they were each
customized journals for us with different appliques on the front
eventually. And flexi said you know, getting
getting hotter day it's like a graduation gift.
I I was thinking that so it was a good guess but it brought us

in the right direction because then demos asked if they were
each potentially spell Scrolls which was closest yet, but not
quite leading Oro to make the correct gas that they were each
customized contracts beneath. We each read our own contract,
which the viewer got to hear. But we did not get to hear each
other's contracts or the details, they're in.
Um, the only people we know for certain Sign was Oro malagos and

Deimos though. Demos did it very sneakily.
So theoretically know what else saw that?
But Aura rolled a Nat 20 perception.
So I know your shit. Oh, all these contracts
essentially. Granted us a wish or something.
We wanted in exchange for working for flexi for 100 years,
in his restaurant, in the nine Hells after our death, um Oro

also inflexion oros discussion, flexi revealed that Oreos
companions in Valhalla had been lying about remembering their
human lives and that was what ultimately pushed Oro to sign
the contract. Um are we were going to continue
discussing with Flexi but then we learned that the creatures
from mechanicus hex. Tons were back in circad and on

our asses so we had to do sort of a Quick Escape.
Or do you live in demos carried?The rest of us in the bag.
Holding's teleported, his average is Tower and let us
sneak through his door back to what?
Seems like his office in the material plane and just, as
demos had gone back to lock the door.
After us, he saw a massive creature with golden eyes.

Looking through the bridge, right outside Zach's home, and
that brings us up today. All right, everybody.

So where we left off the most you were the last one to enter

into the free-standing Monsters,Inc style, door that teleported
to the back office of zafar's lecture hall in waterdeep, you
poked, your head out into Xavier's shop in circad just to
lock the door before you left. But taking a few uneasy steps
toward the doorway, a beautifully, Golden Glow,

gleamed, Through the Windows andShone upon you like headlights.
The two eyes of what you assumedwere a mechanical creature.
You think you might have been spotted but you kept close to
the wall ducking back into the side room and following your
friends through the very small, doorway leading into a broom
closet and thus the study Beyondback into water deep.

As you enter, you see the door held open behind you and the
dark expanse of sir cat behind it and that long brilliant glow
of gold from those. Headlight like eyes to continue
to grow brighter and brighter. As you think, the eyes are
getting a bit closer, would you like to do?
Ah, damn. So, I guess at this point,

everyone, everyone else is in circad, right?
Everyone else is in waterdeep. If you had push, everyone
through the door where you were the last one in everyone else,
you guys are now in the academicAward of water deep inside of

here, in waterdeep, just by being nighttime and soaked, at
the slight time, difference is starting to catch up and they're
a bit off sink in the day tonight.

You recall it being very deep into the night in circuit when
you all left here. Now though the bright very early
morning. You notice there, most of the
people of Water Deep, don't seemto be up yet.
It's the sun is just risen Over the Horizon.

And you see, there are a few very early risers that look to
be posted workers or perhaps a, those elderly enough to rise
with the sun and drinking coffeeon Stoops.
But otherwise, the city is slightly quiet as you all dash
out of the lecture hall and out of the academic ward in, to the
streets of waterdeep. A brief moment of safety as you

make your way to the Flaming board, not in a rush, but
walking with purpose and after another minute, or so of
walking, and one of the larger streets in waterdeep doing them.
You feel your alarm spell go off.
Shit. Oh, Some time has passed about
10 minutes of walking, you're far away but the alarms bill

went off. It seems that over the 10
minutes or so you guys have beengone.
They took their time to correct.That lock the demos have placed
on. Oh that's okay.
We might have to fight Oh God. How is everybody doing?
Can we fight if we need? I guess we could I'm feeling
alright, I could take on what I think we're running out of

then they could kind of just wait on the outside for us.
They have no way of tracking us to that location if they didn't

know which way we went there. So the chance that these
creatures think we just flee Water.
Deep altogether if they sweep the city they might give up.

to get the game here together and are probably just discussing
some gossip, the way they keep chuckling and giggling at one
