Speaker 2 (02:13):
Hey, what is going on? Glad you could join us?
It is a Tuesday morning. I'm okay, So what transpired
last night really doesn't make me feel any better about
what transpired on Sunday. It doesn't, but I was able
to get a smile on my face watching the Bears
implode like that, come on. That's wonderful and of course,
(02:38):
in typical Bear fashion, they were talking so much shit
and then we know what happened. Connor Stellion short up.
I'm joking. Props, no, seriously, props to JJ. That was
cool to watch and see them turn that on in
the fourth quarter that the way they did it turned
into being a good worth quarter after being a brutal
(03:02):
first three quarters.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
That was Bear scored on their first and last possession.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
So, Caleb, what's your opinions? KG, I'm starting with you,
I say, Caleb Williams, what do you say? Okay, I'm
with you all jokes aside, you do not if I
say that about our players, I'm gonna say that about
your players. At least I'm gonna be consistent, right, You don't.
(03:32):
A year doesn't tell it. I mean, we're all too
apt to say bust after a year. There's a lot
of things to worry about with Caleb, would you agree?
For sure?
Speaker 4 (03:42):
And then sorry if I have my mic on the
first time, I say, a work in progress is what
we should call Kayleb Williams right now.
Speaker 5 (03:48):
And I didn't see a lot of the game last night,
had a very very long night.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
But oh I'm sorry.
Speaker 5 (03:54):
Oh no, it's all good.
Speaker 4 (03:55):
But from what I can tell, he still has a
little ways to go. Although he did better in that game.
You y'all can't lose that game, bro. They had that
game in hand and they dropped it at the last second.
Speaker 5 (04:08):
Man and you absolutely cannot do that.
Speaker 4 (04:11):
Conversely, I'm paying attention to JJ McCarthy because he is
a dual threat.
Speaker 5 (04:16):
He can work in a lot of ways.
Speaker 4 (04:18):
And you saw it last night, man, the fact that
they were able to come down what was it twenty
one points they came back in the fourth like that,
That is a lot, man, And I'm paying attention to
JJ McCarthy and the Vikings one.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
I think the slander that was thrown JJ's way a
couple of years ago at draft time wasn't right. I'm serious.
And if you've watched me on this network or heard
me in other places, I think JJ's a damn good quarterback.
I really do.
Speaker 5 (04:44):
Michigan did an unleash it and that was the biggest thing.
Speaker 4 (04:47):
That's why a lot of people think that he's one
dimensional or he's a handoff fucking specialist and all that. Michigan,
like we're seeing at this current present moment, does not
like to utilize their quarterback strengthen abilities. If you would have,
JJ would have had a way better college you know, outlook.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
When he had to do it, though, Like you and
I were talking about this last week, JB, I know
you'll remember this, like those roll up passes. I saw
him like literally still the heart of Michigan State twice.
Speaker 5 (05:14):
Oh for sure.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
When he's rolling out on third and long and throws
that dime down the sideline, that's an elite pass.
Speaker 5 (05:21):
It is, it is, It's.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
An elite pass. So we'll wait and see how things go. Maz.
You enjoy the game last night.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
I did. I watched the first half at a restaurant
with my friend, caught the second half at home. The
Bears had way way too many penalties. But Caleb Listen.
I was in the minority thinking Caleb had a pretty
decent year last year. I mean I watched a lot
of his games, and I say a season turn obviously
in that Commander's tip ball and the Bears went down
(05:50):
south after that when they had a chance to go
up to be five and two at that moment, but
it didn't work out. I think the kids got talent obviously,
is escapability is excellent. He throws. He doesn't have touch
on the ball yet. Yep, he doesn't have touch on
the ball yet. But I think it'll come. I think
(06:11):
I think Ben Johnson I thought, had himself a hell
of a first quarter and then he went away until
the last time they had the ball and they went down.
They finally used Roma Donze. I mean they threw like
three balls to him all night. The running game was decent.
DeAndre Swift was okay, but if you ask me Caleb only,
(06:32):
I still think he's got a chance to be good.
I really do. And that was a tough one for
Bendswalla last night. Kevin O'Connell, on the other hand, he's
a terrific coach. JJ threw a pick six, came back
and threw two more touchdowns to his team to win
that game. It was a great finish way. Too many
penalties under Bears and two bad calls by the refs
(06:56):
too awful. One was a holding, one was a pass interference.
They both affected the game. Too terrible calls by the
refs last night.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
I you know, I'm gonna say this about Caleb and
you nailed it Man as we were talking when Aikman
said that last night. And I forget that the the
circumstances was in the second quarter. It was in the
second quarter. What was it, second down or third down?
I forget he puts a little touch on it.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
It's a touchdown.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
It might be sick like a little but he sat
back there going on Johnny testosterone, yeah, and decide to
fire it in and that that just didn't just you know,
just a little.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
Touch yep, Jabe, you can get that.
Speaker 6 (07:38):
I kind of like how Cage said. It's still a
work in progress with Caleb Williams. Obviously last night you've
seen flashes, and I mean I think once the Bears
got up to that lead, everyone was like, oh, you know,
Ben has fixed Caleb Williams. Surprisingly, but once again you
still see the Bears doing Bears things. And obviously Caleb
did not finish away. He started this whole game. But
(08:01):
I still think there's something there for him to be
a decent quarterback. Now, JJ has everyone to said before.
I'm kind of looking at JJ now because like you
see a kid out there who is just happy to
be playing football, in playing in the NFL, and you
can see the emotion that's on his face. He looks
like a superstar quarterback is in the waitings right now.
(08:23):
So it's something to look out for, is something to
be scared of, honestly, So, I don't know. I keep
an eye out on JJ right now.
Speaker 3 (08:29):
He's a leader man.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
Well, here's the biggest he's a leader in best that's true,
that's not just one both, Yes, you got you gotta
bring the kids, a likable kid like I don't care
who you root for. Like I know, guys like JB
and I were supposed to go boo bad and all
that to He's a likable kid. He's a good quarterback.
I thought that there was a little too much shit
(08:53):
thrown his way his draft here now, with all due
respect to my buddy and yours Ryan or MONI, he
wasn't going to be the number one pick in the draft.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
He did say he's going to be the best quarterback
in that crop. Though, we'll have.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
To wait and see you on that. Hey, KG, Yeah,
you stumbled on something, so I I like legitimately I
have to ask you a question, okay, and by the way,
I agree with you. Do you think the way that
Michigan utilizes their quarterbacks and I know they got their
guy for the next three years.
Speaker 5 (09:27):
Right right? Hopefully suppose I just don't, but we'll see.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
Do you think the usage of the quarterback do you
think unless it changes, do you think that maybe hurts
Michigan from getting those guys unless they're willing to open
up the checkbook.
Speaker 4 (09:47):
Absolutely, it does, because one thing that kids do look
at when they come to school is, okay, how is
this offense ran? In particular, you know, speaking about Bright's Underwood,
how is this offense ran? How can I go out
there and put you know, put on game tape and
get out here and get my name in these draft
talks and for a score that historically is power run
(10:08):
power football all day, all night. You get these QB
prospects in here every nine and again, and you just
you become disappointed because it seems like there's so much
more that they leave in the tank.
Speaker 5 (10:20):
And I don't want to see that.
Speaker 4 (10:21):
With a Bryce Underwood because he is a very, very
versatile quarterback in the Peers, he can hurt you in
a lot of different ways. The fact that they haven't
designed any runs for him through two games is almost
malpracticed to me, you know, the fact that they won't
let him just go out there and listen.
Speaker 5 (10:37):
I'm not afraid of the mistakes.
Speaker 4 (10:39):
If he makes mistakes, fine, he's a true freshman quarterback.
But you're paying them all this money and if you
really want to take this thing to another level, you
have to do what he is best at, and he
is best at throwing passes downfield. He has a rocket arm,
and he has best at using his athletic ability to
make plays.
Speaker 5 (10:56):
And it just kills me that this school just continue.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
Generation after generation to not utilize great QB prospects that
are in our program.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
Hey, don't worry if Pogy is gonna unleash him this week.
If Pogy against the Chips, you watch it. You watch out, everybody.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
I'm telling you, guys, if you haven't seen it. The
effortless way in which he runs. I think that that's
the thing that jumps up to me about Bryce Underwood
is the word effortless comes to mind. The way he
effortlessly throws the football down the field, the way he
effortlessly runs down the field, And it doesn't look like
he's moving until he's blown by you. So all right,
(11:37):
just quick question for everybody in this room. All right,
And I know a lot of Lion fans are probably
gonna chastise me for saying this. I certainly know that
Packer fans and Viking fans welcome. I know you guys
watch welcome. I still believe today, what is it September ninth.
I still believe that the Lions are the best team
in the division when all of a sudden done this year,
I do. I still think we're gonna win the division period.
(12:00):
The second I'm gonna start in this direction with JB
the second best team in this division. JB is. Oh,
sorry to put you on the spot.
Speaker 5 (12:12):
It's just still be pretty given a Minnesota Vikings.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
All right, wow, Mas, Packers.
Speaker 3 (12:17):
I think the Packers still might be there might be
one one A with the Lions.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
KG.
Speaker 5 (12:21):
Oh, it's the Packers still. Unfortunately it's the Packers.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
Let's see, it's gonna be interesting.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
Vikings are gonna be right there too. A fourteen win
team last year.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
I happen to say it again, you guys, there is no
way in hell this team has a fifteen to fourteen
and eleven win team this year. No way this division
has that, No way, no possible way all those numbers
are gonna go like that. I mean, I think you
might have a couple elevens and maybe a ten. All right,
but we'll we'll wait and see how it goes. All
right about right, very quickly, we're gonna we're gonna hit
(12:52):
all Lions in the next segment. But Kevin O'Connell talking
about what a great win that was for the Vikings
on the road last night.
Speaker 5 (13:00):
This happens, this feeling that we have right now does
not happen.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
Without one other guy, all right, did not go the
way any of us wanted.
Speaker 5 (13:07):
This guy, all right. I could tell from the jump
he was poised. He was poised. But this guy didn't
quit me.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
And you always thought he would figure it out tooth.
Speaker 7 (13:15):
Passing touchdowns and a Russian touchdown, all this stuff. And
that's why you guys put a seat on his chest.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
That's why he's to.
Speaker 4 (13:31):
Break the call.
Speaker 5 (13:32):
Now. Hey, this is the beginning.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
But I think we proved something to ourselves tonight.
Speaker 5 (13:39):
We know what we got in the take, and let's
let it out every week the next one. Boys.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Oh, I'm a codiac guy, you can have I'm a
Kodiak guy. I say that all the time. I feel
the same way.
Speaker 5 (14:00):
He's a winner.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
Bro.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
I like the kid, Yeah, I do. I like the kid.
Speaker 3 (14:04):
They hit the jackpot.
Speaker 5 (14:05):
He's playing with that kind of fire.
Speaker 4 (14:06):
They already put the sea on him as a technical
rookie like this JJ, watch out man. That's all I'm saying.
Just pay attention. I'm not saying he's the next great thing.
Just pay attention to him, That's all I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
I wonder how much more of the ups and downs,
because rookie quarterbacks have the ups and downs, you know that. Yeah,
I mean for every c J. Stroud, I can name
you five that that really struggled their first year. Peyton Manning,
what do you have twenty eight interceptions that year, whatever
the case was. Okay, I wonder how much of a
(14:37):
difference is though he's yes, he's a freshman, but it's
like he's a red shirt freshman.
Speaker 5 (14:43):
Right, you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (14:44):
Yeah, it's so it's it's kind of a different vibe.
Speaker 5 (14:47):
Litz.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
See how big the ebbs and flows are this year.
Speaker 4 (14:50):
And with his play style, of course he's gonna go
out there. He's gonna have the games. You know, he's
gonna have games that don't look the greatest. But it's
all about what you do in big moments. And last
night was part of that proof man that if you
can win when the heat is turned up, that makes
you a different type of quarterback in this league. And
I'm just saying the gunslinger mentality, the way he can run.
(15:12):
I'm just saying Josh Allen struggle too. I'm not comparing
them to Josh Allen. I'm just saying, but somebody like
a Josh Allen, you know, came in with. Oh, we
don't really expect much of him. He can't throw the football.
He's just a runner. Look how he evolved over the years,
and you can see some of those same qualities in
JJ McCarthy.
Speaker 5 (15:29):
But time will tell how they'll all playoff.
Speaker 3 (15:31):
Didn't you enjoy this watching Monday night football against I
was very I was. I was reinvigorated for Monday night football.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
I don't care when anybody says KG JB. I mean
no disrespect to you or anybody else. I think Monday
night football hits the older generation harder than it does
you guys. No it see.
Speaker 4 (15:51):
I got a special place in my heart for Monday
night football too, because I'm a nineties baby, you know,
I grew up on the Monday night in prime time
still being kind of a thing.
Speaker 5 (15:59):
But over the years it is not the same. No,
like as Sunday night football is practically taking their spot.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
I would not to me, I would.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
Say Monday See. I think for us it is it
is drenched in nostalgia, Like does that make sense because
you talk about being a nineties baby. I remember like
going to the bars, and there used to be like
Monday Night special night, like like seriously, okay, from nine
to nine forty five for the NFL game we have
(16:29):
ten cent wings. Yeah, and the next thing, you know,
half of my gosh game graduating class was there. Hey dude,
I haven't seen you since high school.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
How you do?
Speaker 2 (16:37):
What kind of wing you eat? And things like that,
So it like it used to be a big thing,
and it's just it's not like that.
Speaker 4 (16:43):
I still remember who was the guy that used to
sing in the original Monday Night Football?
Speaker 5 (16:46):
So are you ready for fu?
Speaker 2 (16:47):
Yeah? Yeah, guy like Williams.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
That's mine Williams Junior. Yeah yeah till he put his
foot in his mouth. Yeah, I'm telling you, man, Monday
Night Football. Like you said, Sean, I used to before
my broadcasting career, I was a bar manager in Jersey
and New York and Monday Night was our biggest night
for a long long time. We had all the stuff.
Miller Lite would sunder stuff, Bud would sender stuff, We'd
(17:11):
have all the flags and it was a huge night. Uh.
And it isn't anymore. But last night I was at
the restaurant and I could see people coming back. They
had the uh, they had the volume up here. Joe Buck,
Troy Aikman. Who are my two faves? Uh? Right now?
They are for sure my faves. It's great to hear him.
It was good. There was a good game. Look, I
(17:32):
could watch our division on loop. Just give me those
two games every week, those three games. I'm happy.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
I like you. I really enjoy Troy Aikman. There is
zero personality, there is nothing there.
Speaker 3 (17:47):
Okay, he's sarcastic. He got that that he's a sarcastices ob.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
But in this day and age of you know, and
all that stuff, Okay, he he's kind of old school.
I think he's throw as hell, man. I really I enjoyed.
Speaker 3 (18:02):
I love how he digs. The refs went out really
digging him.
Speaker 2 (18:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (18:05):
Oh that was when they bring in the rules expert
and the rules experts trying to spin it for the
ref and as was like, well, yeah, I really didn't
see that. But okay, there were some bad calls in
that game last night, and Troy called him out. It
was good stuff.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
I love seeing the Bears lose.
Speaker 3 (18:23):
Hey, two more sleeps and we got Washington and Green.
Speaker 2 (18:25):
No, what a great game, Like literally in a couple
of days, what a great.
Speaker 3 (18:29):
Thursday they wheel oow Michael's out.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
Doesn't that go to a cag's point though, that's like,
that's a Thursday night game. That's a show stopper. Ship.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
They finally gave us games to look forward to.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
By the way, you guys, remember, like yesterday we were
joking that the only team that does more reunions of
its forty years they had another reunion.
Speaker 3 (18:49):
Life's forty years.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
We were joking about it though, literally we were joking
about it doesn't matter if it's forty years. They've been
doing it forty times a season for forty years. They
they literally the Tigers are number two. The Tigers wheeling
out the eighty four champions is number two behind the
Bears wheeling out the eighty.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
And the metsal wheel out the eighty six ers.
Speaker 2 (19:09):
Next year do they do it a lot?
Speaker 3 (19:10):
Well, no, it'll be next year. Is forty years, I know,
but yeah, yeah, it's embarrassing.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
I'm sorry, it just it is. I feel sorry for
the kids. I'm not being funny, you guys, constantly have
to throw have that thrown in your face.
Speaker 5 (19:23):
We're gonna be the same way.
Speaker 4 (19:24):
If the Lions win the Super Bowl this year and
then they don't win for another thirty years, and if.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
They don't doubt about it, I'm done. I'll never bitch
about him again. I swear I am done.
Speaker 3 (19:35):
What do you think the Lions do now? Barry and Calvin?
That's all we see. Barry and Calvin, that's what that's
our that's our anniversary. Two of the greatest players that
ever lace them up. They played here, but they didn't win.
Speaker 2 (19:49):
All right, Listen, we are up against it. Actually we're
late looking over at JB. Sorry JB. When we come back.
Lots of Lions stuff. Dan Campbell's on what transpired down
in Lambeau Hutch. Alex anzelone, you know what. Listen to me,
you guys. Pump the breaks a little. That's it. Are
(20:12):
the things to be worried about. Absolutely, hump the breaks
a little. Okay. I will come back, JB. Where we're
going first?
Speaker 6 (20:18):
Oh, we need to hear from Planet Fitness. My first thing,
clear up this super chest. Shout out to everyone, Thank

sixth he says, we see the fit KG, you can

Speaker 5 (20:30):

Speaker 4 (20:30):
I realized the cameras up so much. Did nobody tell
me either. They just let me to fail.
Speaker 5 (20:34):
So it's all right.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
I just think you're a handsome fellow. So I kind
of like that dump shot closer man.
Speaker 3 (20:40):

No?
Speaker 2 (24:23):
Yeah, see I'll go first. No, no, now, I don't.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
We saw it.
Speaker 5 (24:26):
Feel better today. Beat the shit out of the beers
this week we saw amen.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
That's it.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
That's it. Listen, own it and move on like you
know how all the day after you feel better. Nah,
I don't feel better. That was a shit show at
Lambe Garbage. It was.
Speaker 5 (24:40):
It was a shit show.
Speaker 3 (24:40):
By the way, I do not like the spread. Coming
in to next week's gay came the magic number. Yeah,
I came as the magic number. Well, I said it
was in before four and a half. Sean said five.
It is right now, sitting at five and a half,
which is the magic number. Most times the dog wins
the game at a five and a half points spread.
(25:03):
I'm telling you it's that ugly number. Okay, I don't
like it.
Speaker 2 (25:07):
Oklahoma just called hold on what okay?
Speaker 3 (25:10):
Go on?
Speaker 2 (25:10):
Keep going?
Speaker 3 (25:11):
Had a boy that spread went down by the way
to five. Yeah, didn't say a five a half all right,
early though, So it's Tuesday.
Speaker 2 (25:19):
I the one thing I don't think you heard anybody
on this show panic. I saw a lot of panic.
I don't know if any of the other hosts, but
I can tell you just in my interactions on social media.
Yesterday it was a busy, active day and a lot
of the inmates escaped the asylum yesterday. There's no other
way to say it. Somebody left the damn door open.
(25:41):
Michael Myers jumped in that that station wagon and drove
a lot of crazies out, Okay, because there was some
crazy stuff.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
A lot of Halloween decorations up already. Speaking to Michael Myers,
which I love, absolutely bring it on.
Speaker 2 (25:53):
I nobody in this room, and you guys yell at
me if I'm not being nobody in this room is
dropping the ex vaccations?
Speaker 3 (26:00):
Right? I did?
Speaker 2 (26:01):
Did you really? What did you go to?
Speaker 3 (26:03):
Remember? I had thirteen fourteen wins. I'm down to the
Vegas number at ten and a half.
Speaker 2 (26:08):
You went all the way down?
Speaker 5 (26:09):
Yes, yeah, stop, bro, you clipped up.
Speaker 3 (26:13):
Stop. I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
I thought you dropped it from thirteen. I didn't think
you dropped it that far.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
No, I'm dropping it after one game. I'm saying, Vegas nose.
That's all I'm saying. Yes, Vegas nose. They surprised me.
They surprised the hell out of me. On Sunday, I
did not like one thing I saw. And guess what
I did yesterday? I rewatched the game.
Speaker 2 (26:33):
Oh you're sick.
Speaker 3 (26:34):
I rewatched it. You're sick, and they were worse than
I thought.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
You got problems. I do watch that shit.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
The defense did step up a little in the second half,
but the offense had nothing.
Speaker 2 (26:44):
What did the I mean, off the top of my head,
what did the packer? Was it two hundred and sixty
total yards?
Speaker 3 (26:49):
Yeah? Mostly in the first half.
Speaker 2 (26:51):
Right, Sorry, I don't know what to tell you, I.
Speaker 3 (26:54):
Get it, but it was over already.
Speaker 2 (26:56):
I'm going to defer to Dan Campbell. I think a
lot of the things, especially with the weapons that we
have in our disposal, are correctable. Everything starts with the
interior line.
Speaker 3 (27:06):
Well, yeah, you need players, but if you correct players.
Speaker 2 (27:09):
Watch this show. If you watch this show. Sorry, I've
been saying this since the day Frank Ragnow walked away. Yes, okay,
you don't replace Frank Ragnow and expected to keep running
and Zeidler, it's gonna take it's gonna take some time.
It is. It's gonna take some time, and there's gonna
be a period of adjustment. I still think twelve and five.
Speaker 3 (27:27):
I hope we got the right guys on that line.
Speaker 2 (27:29):
I do too. Here's Dan Campbell on his take on
the loss at Lambell.
Speaker 12 (27:35):
So really, it's kind of what we talked about last night.
You know, we uh, we just weren't good enough third
down really on either side of the ball, and we
kind of dug ourselves in a hole early in that
game that we couldn't quite get out of, you know. So,
you know, we had some miss miscommunications, some ms that
(27:59):
really cost us at the worst times, you know, a
couple of penalties. Uh that that bid us, and you
know it just it wasn't clean. You know, it wasn't clean.
We we didn't we didn't play well. So but as
I mentioned, all stuff we can clean up. You know,
we gotta we gotta score seven, we get in the
red zone, that's gonna be big for us. You know,
(28:22):
we got to be able to run the ball. You know,
we had a lot of things. We're just fundamentally, man,
we were off. You know, we we got to get
our fundamentals back. We got to go back to work,
because it really is that simple. Nothing's easy about it,
but it's that simple to diagnose, and so, uh, the
only way you do it, you just got to go
back to work, you know, and work those things. Defensively,
(28:44):
I thought we settled down the second half. You know,
we gave us some explosives early and and there again
a couple of those are communication errors, things that we
had worked all week. So you know, we got to
get back to the basics there. Special teams we got
to be better. Wasn't good enough. I mean we had
a couple of we had two or three players played
(29:06):
really well, but not enough. So that was really the story.
We just didn't have enough good performances, and really we
didn't coach well enough, you know, And that obviously starts
with me. We had a lot of m as, and
so that tells me that we had too much on
their plate, which is that that's my fault. So that's
that was really the story.
Speaker 2 (29:27):
You know what's interesting. And I go back to correct
me if I'm wrong. I think it was the field
goal in the third quarter where they it was like
a twenty six twenty seven yard field goal. Yeah, we
sort you got you guys can fact check me. That
was when we had the first and goal situation. Yeah,
then we moved back. Then we got back to the nine.
(29:49):
They aren't going to go for it on fourth and nine.
And I remember distinctly thinking to myself, Okay, I've seen
this script before. They'll get down to the four, they'll
get down to the five, and they're gonna go for
it on fourth down. This is four down territory. And
when you're at fourth and goal from the nine, you
kick the field goal every single time. Every I don't
(30:11):
care what anybody says you kicked that. I mean, unless
you know you're at that juncture of the game where
it doesn't help you, et cetera, et cetera, or if
you're rolling.
Speaker 3 (30:17):
Yeah, if the offense is playing good up to that point,
you have confidence you can go for it at any time.
But they had no rhythm, no confidence since the jump.
Speaker 2 (30:28):
I think they got themselves. And as Dan said early
on in those comments, I think they got themselves in
that undesirable position of no, it was fourth and too
long to justify, let's go for it. You went fourth
and four, maybe fourth and five. Right, you go for
it in a situation like that, But more often than not,
(30:49):
how many times was it the fourth and long where
you just say, not, you know what, we gotta take
the points.
Speaker 5 (30:54):
Anything more than four yards is a big ask?
Speaker 2 (30:57):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (30:58):
Four not last year, not last yea. We were able
to run the ball last year. This time we couldn't
run forty yards total rushing yards they could. Nothing was open.
Speaker 2 (31:11):
I still think if the offense is rolling your you're
screwing yourself. If you decided to go fourth and nine,
things like that, just take the points, right, take the points.
I would that's just one man's opinion.
Speaker 3 (31:21):
I would have went for the touchdown two years ago
at Candlestick I mean in Santa Clara at the end
of the half. You know, he wanted to go for it. Yeah,
he kicked the field goal. He didn't want to kick
the field goal, but he did.
Speaker 2 (31:34):
H Hutch had some comments, you know, Okay, before we
get to it, JB. So we hear from Dan Campbell,
we're gonna hear from Hutch, We're gonna hear from Alex
We're hearing from all these pieces that in years gone by,
their word was gospel. Right. Oh yeah, so is it
(31:54):
not gospel anymore?
Speaker 3 (31:55):
No, it still is.
Speaker 2 (31:56):
If these guys are saying these things to me, I
know it's Jesus's feel a little bit.
Speaker 3 (32:01):
What else are they gonna say?
Speaker 2 (32:01):
Though, Well, there's factual, here's Hutch.
Speaker 13 (32:07):
We're gonna do how we always do it, you know,
and I know we got a good history of responding.
And we had another divisional.
Speaker 5 (32:13):
I believe, next week.
Speaker 3 (32:14):
So it's.
Speaker 13 (32:16):
I think it's it's gonna be good for us. It's
good to you know, there's a lot of expectations this year.
Come in lose like that. I'm sure people will be
really down on us, and that's where we thrive. You know,
when everyone everyone doesn't believe in US anymore. I'm sure
people are, you know, I'm sure everyone's gonna be talking.
But I think what we do really well is when
(32:37):
this adversity hits, we put the blinders on.
Speaker 3 (32:41):
We go. I haven't lost two straight in a long time.
So what he is saying right now is gospel until
it don't happen anymore. They got the Bears this week, yep.
Speaker 2 (32:53):
I mean that's a long time ago.
Speaker 3 (32:55):
That's a hell of a street.
Speaker 2 (32:56):
That is a long, long.
Speaker 3 (32:58):
Hell of a street. And I hope it continues.
Speaker 2 (33:00):
I like what KG said. Kg, you said it last week,
and you you referenced it a little bit yesterday. The
Bears better hope that the Lions don't lose in Lambeau. No,
for real, there will be a reckoning. Isn't that the word.
Speaker 5 (33:13):
That's what David Montgomery used in the offseason. There will
be a reckoning.
Speaker 4 (33:17):
And I do feel that that is coming for the
Bears because listen, yeah, they looked a little bit better
last night, but you got to come in forward field
and prove it to me and Ben Johnson. I know
you want this game, but I think the Lions want
this game just a little bit more.
Speaker 3 (33:29):
I do.
Speaker 2 (33:31):
By the way while I'm at at David Montgomery. You're bad. Boo,
it's over boo.
Speaker 5 (33:36):
You know who they're laughing at you?
Speaker 10 (33:37):
Boom.
Speaker 3 (33:38):
You think they start the game with him this time
because they started with love.
Speaker 2 (33:43):
Legitimately, I would say, this is what you're gonna see
all day. So we're just gonna get you used to
it right now here here it comes. We're not jabbing you.
There's no jab here. You come. Stop the haymaker. We're
just coming right, We're coming right at you. Bears are
still not a good team, man, all sides of the ball.
Speaker 5 (34:00):
The Lions are a better team.
Speaker 2 (34:01):
Yes, absolutely, I'm sorry business, they're they're not a good team.
I know that there is the the specter of he
whose name I dared not mention, and he's so smart.
It's amazing what happens when Caleb got away from the
script last night, isn't it. It's amazing how that happens.
Players make plays. Sorry, I'm gonna say it to him,
(34:22):
Honolulu blue in the face, man. People making way too
much about the coordinators. Alex has that same sentiment. There's
gonna be some conversations about are these the right coordinators
for the team?
Speaker 5 (34:34):
Now what are you after week one?
Speaker 2 (34:35):
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 8 (34:37):
Well, the fans are not whoever's saying that's not highly intelligent.
Speaker 14 (34:43):
I mean can be given how you guys did in
practice defensive way, and I mean it was I guess
surprising that I guess.
Speaker 3 (34:50):
I mean the way they started off and they were
able to.
Speaker 8 (34:53):
I mean, they hot and they had there at some
their first fifteen plays. We're good skiing plays and we
weather this storm defends. Obviously we gave up the first
long drive. But at the same time, you gotta take
the good and learn from the mistakes that happen. But
this isn't a situation where anyone's panicking or whatnot. Just
we're on the road. We got our ass beat and
(35:15):
we gotta move on.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
Ownership. Man, I'm sorry. That's that's ownership. I love every
second of it. And you know what, what you try
to do. What I try to do is I try
to be reasonable with people. I try to be logical
with people. You can throw out the fact that Bill
Belichick lost a coordinator or two for every year. You
can throw out the Dallas thing. You can throw out
what happened to Philly. I think until people see it
(35:39):
for their own two eyes. It doesn't matter. It's just words.
So it's almost like I'm gonna stop doing that right now.
But I also reserve the right the right to say
you're being emotionally irrational. I don't know what to tell you,
especially in week one. If we're having these conversations ten
weeks from now, okay, right, then it's time for our
side to turn around and go okay, maybe there's more
(36:00):
validity to that.
Speaker 3 (36:01):
Let me ask you something, Yeah, what if they lose
this week? How are you going to feel? Then?
Speaker 2 (36:07):
How are they going to lose?
Speaker 3 (36:08):
I'm just saying going to if they lose the game
to the Bears.
Speaker 2 (36:11):
Like the way they did to the Packers, No.
Speaker 3 (36:14):
Just lose just in general, just in general, to that
team you saw last night. If they lose, what are
you going to say? They're owing too?
Speaker 2 (36:21):
I would be more in a division, I would be
more apt to put the blame the blame on the
players the interior offensive line than two coordinators being gone.
That's just one man. I'm sorry. I will never do
players make plays. I'm sorry. I've seen it way too
many times.
Speaker 3 (36:40):
But you might not have the right players on that
line is what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (36:44):
Well, and that's that's that's why I'm saying that would
be the issue, not the coordinator that's the issue. Now,
could a coordinator be bad? Absolutely? One week does not
give us. Two weeks does not give us a good
gauge of whether or not this guy has what it
takes to be a coordinator. I will not blame it
on AG and he whose name I dare not mention leaving, I.
Speaker 3 (37:05):
Won't now Ben Johnson, Uh who was? Yeah, the guy
that used to be here last year to oh see,
he was on the sideline alongside Dan Campbell. John Morton
is upstairs. Do you have any issues with that? No,
just check it.
Speaker 2 (37:21):
No, I don't know what it's Dan cool with it.
Speaker 3 (37:26):
I guess so clearly he is. It's just a different
Everything is different. It just feels different. It looked different.
Speaker 5 (37:36):
As you think they lost because he was in the box.
Speaker 3 (37:38):
No, No, I didn't say that. I didn't say Brady
Holk lost because he didn't wear headphones either. I don't
care about that. They sucked really terrible really from the
opening kickoff the special teams. I mean they started on
the forty two yard line. It was terrible the whole game.
Speaker 2 (37:57):
I think it was terrible. I'm sorry. I think one
thing that made he whose name I dare not mention,
a tremendous coordinator is that he used the player's strengths
to their advantage and he tried to cover up some
of their weaknesses. Okay, and I'm gonna say it again.
I know we all love Jared Goff and start a
(38:17):
chant right now. The straw man argument of the last
few years was dumb. There's no other way to say it. Okay,
and you guys know how it goes. Jared Goff doesn't
deal well with pressure. Well find me a quarterback that does.
Jared Goff deals far worse with pressure than other quarterbacks
(38:39):
do because he doesn't have the skill set that other
guys of a Lamar Jackson, of a Josh Allen, etcetera, etc.
Especially when you bring that pressure up the middle, so
you know what you have to do. You have to
make sure that that's accounted for. Put the guy in
positions of favorability. I use I use the example all
the time when Barney came here, the hot shot coordinator.
(39:04):
I mean literally, he's got NFL legend, DNA coursing through
his vein. That moron came in here and said, yeah,
I see what you are, Matthew Stafford. We don't need
any of that. I need you to be Drew Brees.
That's like taking the square Pegan trying to pound it
into a round hole. It wasn't going to work. So
(39:25):
to me, a coordinator, a really good coordinator is a
guy that can check his ego okay, and put players
in position of comfortability that spotlight their skill set, not
your wicked, unbelievable like twenty second century offense. I want
(39:47):
to put tom Asway in a position that favors him.
Tom Asway loves to sit in that massage chair. So
what am I mas, You're out of the massage chair.
I want you in the booth with JB. There ain't
nobody better in that booth with JB. Not come to
sit at the table. Man, I don't know what to
tell you, what like, you know what I'm saying, Hey, KG,
(40:11):
you know what I want you to break down Michigan
State football For me, go.
Speaker 5 (40:15):
A angel sucks. That's awful.
Speaker 2 (40:22):
I'm sorry. It's common sense stuff, right it is. And
I think unfortunately we've kind of put these coordinators on
these pedestals because of the success of the Lions. And
let me be crystal clear, I'm not taking anything away
from Aaron Glenn. I'm not taking anything away from he
(40:43):
whose name I dare not mention. They did a fantastic
job here. Okay, was it them or was it the players? Honestly,
did they help the players that they put them in
positions of favorability? Yeah, they did. But we have a
lot of talent around here, right, Yeah, clearly is the.
Speaker 5 (40:59):
Play, Sean.
Speaker 4 (41:00):
That's why I put more of this last loss on
them just having no effort. It seemed from the start
of the game to damn near it was over.
Speaker 5 (41:08):
But better Yeah, I mean, yeah, you got it.
Speaker 3 (41:13):
Better.
Speaker 4 (41:14):
They had to answer for everything we wanted to do.
But going forward, I hold this team to a different standard.
I know these players are in there pissed the hell off,
and I expect them to come out with some fire
next week. And to your point about golf, Sean, the
only way to do that, and to play to Jared
goff strengths, is to protect the man like you just
you cannot have him running for his life or dealing
(41:36):
with a lot of pressure. Interior pressure might not add
but just pressure in general. You have to protect him
at all.
Speaker 2 (41:43):
Manson, I'm glad to hear you say that, like I
am a big ownership guy because far off and I mean,
let's let's be honest. I think everybody's a little guilty
of this. And and again, if this didn't happen, or
if that didn't happen, and if my aunt, you know,
had a dick, she'd be my uncle type of stuff.
Sometimes you have to sit back. And they took it
to us, they beat the ship at us. I don't
(42:04):
want one Packer fan to think that any of us
in this room you're making any excuse you You beat
us Detroit lion style. You did. You took it to us.
You punched us in the mouth, and we staggered. We
didn't know quite what to do right. Maybe the bully's
not used to getting punched in the mouth.
Speaker 3 (42:22):
Oli got knocked on his ass by Joe Frasier, and
he never was on his ass. He got up, he
looked up, He's like, holy shit, I'm in a fight.
And he lost that fight. And the lions got knocked
on the ground and they got stomped on and they
lost that fight. And I'll tell you right now. I
think the Packers will take it to Washington on Thursday
as well.
Speaker 2 (42:41):
I'm telling you right now, I thought the Lions and
Packers would would split this year. I don't think there's
any chance in hell the Lines are losing on Thanksgiving
a green Bay.
Speaker 3 (42:49):
We'll see who I don't.
Speaker 2 (42:50):
I don't think there's anything. I don't think there's any
chance in hell we love something that was That was
my loss in the division. If you remember, I thought
we'd get them week one. We'd be all hype and
everything didn't happen, like going on to against the Packers.
I don't see it.
Speaker 3 (43:05):
Sorry, let me wait till this week and see how
he look man.
Speaker 2 (43:10):
And then a week after that if we beat the Ravens,
and then when we beat the Browns by thirty one,
that's the emotional roller coaster. I get it. Hey, JB,
we're late again.
Speaker 3 (43:20):
My emotions were are nothing right now.
Speaker 2 (43:23):
You know this is a safe space, you guys. You
guys jump in the chat. We want to get you
involved in the chat. Obviously, the super chats. We go

Speaker 5 (43:51):

Speaker 2 (43:54):

Speaker 3 (43:58):

Speaker 2 (43:58):
I completely disagre agree with that, Matt. I can't. I
can't stress to you how much I disagree with that. Okay,
but how do I how do I argue that today?

next week. Tis the season. That's why you need a
(48:05):

Call Sharon's Heating and air Conditioning today at seven three
four two three eight thirty eight thirty nine. See that.
You can also scan the QR code right there there. Okay,
tell them Woodward Sports sent you Sharon's Heating and air Conditioning.
(48:51):
Thanks so much for being a part of what we do.
All right, welcome back in glad you can join us.
We're gonna get into what did you see in the
NFL in a little bit, and man's I gotta tell
you something I saw about your man.
Speaker 3 (49:03):
What'd you see buddy?
Speaker 2 (49:05):
That they're still the same like Russell Wilson has been
done for a while, I know, okay, And the fact
that teams keep giving.
Speaker 3 (49:12):
Him a chance his his air balloon throws it's over. Hey. Look,
I love the guy what he did. I loved what
he did with Seattle. I thought he was terrific. Those
those were some great Seattle teams. I know they had
the legs in the boom and all, but he did
his job as well. He pulled out a lot of
(49:32):
late game Magic won a super Bowl, should have won
two is what it is. It's when it's over. It's over.
Speaker 2 (49:39):
I think when you when you get your dick knocked
out the way he did for so many years, it
takes a tool, that dude, especially the style that he played.
Speaker 3 (49:48):
That dude, he's a little guy.
Speaker 2 (49:50):
He took so many shots. He is one tough bugger.
But it's okay. Jackson Dart, Are you going to Jackson Dart?
Speaker 3 (49:58):
I guess so. There's no Tommy DeVito anym He's doing commercials.
Danny Dives look great. I was always a day Dives guy.
I was, you know, I was. I am. He's got
a playoff win, so does Tim Tebow. Did you see
(50:20):
the Colts owner? The URSA young lady she is. There's
three daughters of the great Jim Irsay and they're all
owners of the Colts. They all have their different positions,
but the one, Carrie Ersay, is running sprints during the opening,
(50:41):
you know, when the guys are out on the field
warming up. She's got the headset on, she's got the playbook,
she's got the radio. She stands on the sideline the
entire game. She is involved. Can you see Shila doing that.
This girl. It's the first time I've seen an own
her on the field like this young lady is and
(51:03):
she is hands on right now.
Speaker 2 (51:06):
Yeah, there's no trouble brewing with that.
Speaker 3 (51:08):
Not at all, right, real well, not at all.
Speaker 6 (51:11):
Something bad is gonna happen with that. I guarantee you
she's gonna be like, oh, I don't like him. He
dropped that past fire him right now, him, right now.
Speaker 3 (51:19):
She listens to the coach talking to the coordinators.
Speaker 2 (51:22):
That's like, if you remember mas the the the maturation
of Jerry Jones showing up on the sideline. Yes, like honestly,
KG in the Jimmy Johnson era, it would be late
fourth quarter, like somehow Jerry was I think it was
late fourth quarter. Later in the game, he would find
(51:43):
his way down the stadium. He would. Now, Jerry just
does whatever hell he wants.
Speaker 5 (51:47):
Right literally, he's gonna he's gonna.
Speaker 2 (51:49):
Stand next to coach. He's gonna, you know, he's gonna
do this, that and the other thing. But that's kind
of how it progresses. Man. If you if you leave
that window open next how it progresses. Look out, we'll
get some thoughts on the end. Fl In a second First,
some more thoughts from the Lions brass. Hey, I get it,
that was frustrating to watch, Like, I want all the
(52:11):
people out there to know that are worried, like man's like,
I get it, I get it. I just refuse to
believe that this team that's been on such an incredible run,
it's just gonna fall off the face of the planet.
Speaker 3 (52:24):
I just didn't see that type of effort coming on
opening week after what they got went through last year
and got their teeth handed to them against Washington. Had
a whole season to think about that. But then to
lose your great center and to let Zeitler walk. I
think we're two big blows that I didn't really take
(52:48):
into consideration enough.
Speaker 2 (52:50):
I cannot believe how many times yesterday I saw somebody say,
maybe we should have played these guys in the preseason.
Speaker 3 (52:56):
Yeah, that's dumb.
Speaker 2 (52:57):
I'd like, I'm honest, honest to god, I mean that,
I have no other way to say that. You're a maniac,
like honest, like you guys. Okay, so let's say I'm
gonna play. Let's let's say that Jared Goff and the
starting offense came out there for one series in the
third exhibition game, one series.
Speaker 3 (53:19):
In the third exhibition game, they used to play a
quarter back in our day sean right.
Speaker 2 (53:23):
Now, Okay, but I think more often than not, I
think you see maz lately, you get you get a series,
maybe too. Okay, Let's say the series goes something like this,
hand off to David Montgomery for three yards. Hand off
to Jamiir Gibbs for three yards, third and four. Jared,
(53:47):
they're not gonna show anything. Seriously, he dumps it over
the middle to Laporta. Laporta is about two feet short.
That that's that was that would have made a difference
on Sunday? Is that is that what you're saying?
Speaker 5 (53:59):
Right?
Speaker 2 (54:01):
Come on, man like seriously, and more often than not,
you you know as well as I do. You know
what a quarterback does. The starting quarterback in this league
on the first more often than not, not always, handoff, handoff,
handoff a right, good night, everybody. I'm going to sit
on the sideline.
Speaker 5 (54:14):
Right, Come on.
Speaker 4 (54:15):
Whatever change to play their players in the preseason is
one thing, but let's not act like the preseason ain't
on its way out of the NFL, like it's an
outdated fucking practice. Teams don't even like doing the preseason.
That is why most teams have opted for the joint practice.
Speaker 3 (54:32):
That's the preseason.
Speaker 5 (54:35):
Your people hurt.
Speaker 3 (54:35):
That's the new preseason.
Speaker 2 (54:38):
Well, and here's what they used to hide it before.
They used to have coaches come up and stand at
the podium, look right in the camera and light to
you and talk about the importance of these games and
how the third game was the dress rehearsal. Okay, and
all that, and and again I want you to think
about this. Why on earth would you show anything anything new,
(54:59):
any wrinkle, any trick, play any gadget any weapon and
put that on tape for anybody.
Speaker 3 (55:05):
Yeah, we did show Tesla what.
Speaker 2 (55:08):
They didn't know. We tried to tell them, but they
didn't know. They didn't want to know. All right, Dan
Campbell says, it all takes some time. Let's take a
deep breath. Here's DC the roster.
Speaker 16 (55:22):
How quickly do you think you can get that bread
and buttered mastered so that this offense can really start clicking.
Speaker 12 (55:27):
Well, I don't know, to be honest with you, because
you know, I think things take time, and you don't
know is that going to come in a day? Is
it going to come in two days a week, one game,
two games. All I know is it'll come, and it
just takes a minute to you know, real bullets, full speed,
real opponents working together, and then you find your groove,
(55:52):
you know, you find your rhythm. So all I'm concerned about, honestly,
is getting I just want to get better from last week.
I want to get some nificantly better from last week.
Speaker 3 (56:01):
You know.
Speaker 12 (56:01):
I want to cut our emmys in half. I want
to be much more efficient and productive and uh, find
a way to get some takeaways, protect the football, and
and then we'll go from there and get better the
next week. That's really what I'm looking for.
Speaker 2 (56:17):
Do you feel better hearing that? Mass?
Speaker 3 (56:19):
I love Dan Campbell, I completely. I'm in his hands.
I'm following that guy, I am. I just didn't like
what I saw, and you know what, hopefully they'll get
everything fixed up by you know, three weeks, four weeks in.
Speaker 2 (56:33):
I think we saw all jokes aside about Isaac Tesla.
I think we saw the raw talent, the raw ability there.
I'm going to tell everybody pump the brakes again. I
am no, you have to pump the brakes. No, okay, cool,
He's just not going to put up massive numbers.
Speaker 3 (56:51):
Say massive numbers, that's.
Speaker 2 (56:53):
What I'm saying. Pump the brakes in that room. Okay,
Like I don't. I don't.
Speaker 3 (56:57):
There's too much talent for him to do that.
Speaker 2 (57:00):
That's my point. But DC talking about how Tesla fits
into this.
Speaker 12 (57:04):
Role, Yeah, well, I think we really wanted to try
to get him involved last week, but then he you know,
he got sick and wasn't He missed a lot of practice,
so then we didn't feel comfortable, you know, trying to
load him up with stuff, and so it was going
to be very limited. But certainly we'd like to use
him more, you know, I mean there's something there. So
(57:25):
it looks like he's he's back and feels pretty good.
And I was good to see him make a play.
I mean, he was only in three plays on offense,
but he did a good job on those three. You know,
made that big catch, So you know we're gonna start
trying to get him some reps.
Speaker 2 (57:38):
That catch was insane.
Speaker 5 (57:39):
It was.
Speaker 2 (57:40):
We didn't talk about that enough yesterday because we were
too busy being Google babies. Yeah, but that catch was insane.
Speaker 4 (57:46):
I mean, how can you when the game went the
way it did, and unfortunately it was a garbage time touchdown,
but I have dubbed him to white Obj. The catch
was absolutely amazing, and it indicates to me that they
want to involve him, they want to have off him
in his offense early and often. Because you heard it
right there. They if he had been here last week
during practice in prep, they would have got him a
(58:07):
lot more plays in that game. And not saying that'd
be the difference, but I think we are going to
see a decent amount of Isaac tesla going forward.
Speaker 3 (58:16):
Man, I do Ford Field is gonna be off the
hook on Sunday. It'll probably be the loudest it's ever been,
welcoming back their former offensive coordinator and getting on the
w side after last week's debacle. So they're gonna be great.
Speaker 2 (58:34):
There are two moments that sit out to me in
my time going to Lion games. When we beat the
Vikings scoring twice late on Thanksgiving. What was that twenty sixteen,
twenty seventeen, I forget remember Sam Bradford did Sam Bradford things.
Speaker 3 (58:50):
That was one of our only wins on Thanksgiving in
the last eight years.
Speaker 2 (58:53):
Yeah, yeah, that like that. The Monday night game back
in twenty eleven, the job at Best game. Oh is
this weird? I swear to God there was this weird
noise that hurt my ears. Now again for you guys,
I wasn't. I wasn't in Ford Field for the playoff game.
Speaker 3 (59:08):
The game was amazing, was it?
Speaker 2 (59:09):
Really? It was amazing there was for anybody that was
there for that. When Job at Best took off on
that eighty yard run, there was this noise that, like
I'm not joking, it hurt my brain like it was
just it went another level and you're like, oh, what
is that?
Speaker 3 (59:23):
You know?
Speaker 2 (59:23):
I mean it was it was insane.
Speaker 3 (59:27):
These fans are starving.
Speaker 2 (59:28):
So before we get to DC on facing Ben Johnson. Okay,
I hate the Bears. Okay, Ben Johnson is my enemy
now period, end of story. Okay, I am not boo guy.
I've never been boo guy. I don't like ID no
offense to anybody, your big boo guy. How do you
(59:51):
think how do you think he'll be received on Sunday?
Speaker 3 (59:54):
Okay? What God?
Speaker 2 (59:56):
You think it's gonna be bad?
Speaker 3 (59:57):
Do you think you think kids was bad?
Speaker 10 (01:00:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:00:00):
This will be worse than Yes.
Speaker 4 (01:00:03):
Like they glew Lebron when he came back to Cleveland
for that first game, and they booed him mercilessly through
a half, and then they realized, Okay, this guy is great.
Speaker 5 (01:00:11):
We can't do shit about it. It's gonna be that,
it's gonna be.
Speaker 2 (01:00:14):
I can't wait until some of the Karens out there
get mad at people for doing that, and again, consider
the source. I'm not boo, guy. I cannot tell you
the least you know what I do. I boo when
I'm playing little games with my son. Yeah, my son
and I are playing with football and I throw my
hen by him right and he whiffs, and I go boo.
(01:00:35):
I don't boo it a game. I can't tell you
the last time I booted a game.
Speaker 6 (01:00:39):
You know what it's gonna be like when Hollywogan switched up.
Speaker 5 (01:00:46):
Throwing popcorn? Yeah, man, it comes out of the town.
Speaker 2 (01:00:50):
I'm really looking forward to some of the Karens, especially
the Karens on Twitter, to chastise people and tell them
how they should behave.
Speaker 4 (01:00:59):
I'm I'm really looking everybody can get it right?
Speaker 5 (01:01:06):
The hell are we talking about you?
Speaker 2 (01:01:07):
Guys?
Speaker 5 (01:01:08):
Sean? They caught you slipping you say it? He was
name I did I'm.
Speaker 2 (01:01:11):
Sorry, all right, they might dare not mention like it
is so out of the really strange things that have
happened in this past year. I mean every year there's
things that are peculiar.
Speaker 19 (01:01:27):
To you.
Speaker 2 (01:01:27):
The the spin by some people in this town at
at people showing their displeasure of him leaving to go
to Chicago is weird. I'm sorry. That's still one of
the strange hours. A g best of luck. You're going
to the Jets, Okay, you're going to one of the
(01:01:49):
most hated teams, and for many of us, by far,
our most hated team. You're dead to me. Thank you, No, really,
thank you. It's it's like you were a big part
of what happened. I thank you from the bottom of
my heart. Now you're dead to me.
Speaker 4 (01:02:08):
Shawn, You're right, he's a big part of what happened.
In that particular playoff game. A lot of people thought
he was distracted. Some people thought he threw the fucking
game fall. You don't cry out, well, do you think
he's gonna get you coming back to ford Field, especially
after they lost in the way they did. They fumbled
the bag in that game against the Vikings. Oh my guy,
it's gonna be it's gonna be great. I cannot wait.
(01:02:31):
They're going to beat the breaks off of the Bears.
I guarant antea victory.
Speaker 3 (01:02:34):
There was thirty six hours after one of the worst
losses in Lions history. That's why I think.
Speaker 2 (01:02:39):
People can I ask you can I ask you guys
something though, Let's play a game of pretend and this
is this is what I'm not gonna mention any games.
But I had a philosophical conversation with a media friend
of mine in this town about this very thing, okay,
and like it was really weird. And I said, and
I said this in respect, I said, I'm sorry, you're
(01:03:02):
not one of those guys that grew up here. Okay,
so you don't understand this goes back to for many
of us. For me included me being a kid. Okay,
I've hated the Bears for years, and I openly admit
to the Bear fans out there, it's because, yes, forty
plus years ago, I wanted to be you. I did.
I so badly wanted to be that big, bad team
(01:03:24):
that was like the circus coming to town, where you
just punched people in the mouth and laughed at them
and they own the law and knocked out a quarterback
every week. Every week they knocked out a quarterback. Okay,
let me ask you guys all this, and I'm being serious.
What if he went.
Speaker 3 (01:03:38):
To Atlanta Atlanta, we wouldn't have cared.
Speaker 2 (01:03:44):
What if he went to an AFC team, we would
have cheered him. That's what The fact that people missed
that was really odd to me, that it was really
now don't I'm not saying I would have cheered him
if he came back here, Okay, but it's easier to
wish Aaron Glenn good luck when I don't see the Jets.
Speaker 5 (01:04:01):
Yeah, exactly right.
Speaker 4 (01:04:04):
They're not directly stopping us from getting to our goals
of get reaching the Plus.
Speaker 3 (01:04:08):
You know, the Jets are I always said it, they're
the lions of the AFC.
Speaker 2 (01:04:12):
If if if he whose name I dare not mention,
went to the desert, okay, hey, best of luck, dude,
seriously shot out luck, like, man, that's that's a tough gig.
I mean, that's that's it's been a desert out there,
no fun intended, but good luck he went to the
And the fact that people couldn't fathom that it's fucked up.
Speaker 4 (01:04:34):
All right, Now, I know it would have been bad
all along him going to the Bears.
Speaker 5 (01:04:37):
But do you think the time window is what.
Speaker 4 (01:04:40):
Really set people over the edge how quickly he accepted
the job and left.
Speaker 2 (01:04:45):
I think both. I do, yeah, because they can.
Speaker 4 (01:04:47):
Always get hate taking the Bear's job. But it makes
sense from a standpoint he had the Panthers job. Of course,
I'm not taking that job with that owner that you
get Williams. It appears that he's this generation talent at
first coming into the league. You got everything else around,
you got a GM that's willing to spend money.
Speaker 5 (01:05:06):
It made sense for him to take that specific job.
Speaker 4 (01:05:08):
I think it's the time window that people got up
in arms over it. Yeah, thirty six hours after one
of the probably worst playoff performances in allions history.
Speaker 2 (01:05:21):
Would it have been any better though, I mean, using
the same criteria, probably not. It wouldn't have been any
better than time bothered you the time by if he
went to the Patriots. If he went to the Patriots, yeah, that.
Speaker 5 (01:05:34):
It wouldn't have been as bad, clearly if he went
to Okay.
Speaker 2 (01:05:36):
But yeah, I think the time which he.
Speaker 5 (01:05:39):
Took the job bothered a lot of people.
Speaker 2 (01:05:41):
I'm not like I'm not Joe. I know you guys
know this for the benefit of people out there. Like
just like, I've known Joke Bell for a long time.
I called his games when he was college. I told
anybody that would listen, he's an NFL player. I saw it.
He won the Harlan Hill as the best player in
Division two. That is the equivalent of the Heisman Trophy.
All right, Like, I'm not joking. When Joke went and
(01:06:04):
signed with the Bears, I should you joke. If you're watching,
you can I send him a text? I go, you're
dead to me? And he was. He was like, Oh,
come on, Sean, you're my guy. Don't do that to me.
I go, no, you're dead to me like that? Do
your don't exist to me? You're a Bear? Yeah, all right,
speaking of that. DC on Ben.
Speaker 12 (01:06:25):
Johnson, No, listen, Ben, Ben's my friend. He's always going
to be my friend, you know. But but that nothing
about that's gonna change. You know, we're going in getting
ready to play Chicago. We're gonna win this game, you know,
we have to. We got to find a way to
clean things up and do what we gotta do. And
(01:06:46):
they're going to try to do the same thing. It's
like every week.
Speaker 3 (01:06:49):
So fair enough, well said, we're.
Speaker 2 (01:06:54):
Not losing this game. We're not. KG. I'm with you.
I'm gonna co sign on what you said.
Speaker 5 (01:06:58):
Garon, damn t Garan.
Speaker 2 (01:07:00):
We are not losing this game to the year. We
are not. We are not you damn you Bear fans.
I'm gonna go all Jimmy Johnson on you. Okay, put
it in big bold letters. We are not losing this
game at Ford Field to the Chicago.
Speaker 3 (01:07:15):
Bar If they play like they did, they will.
Speaker 2 (01:07:17):
I don't know. It's still the Bears, right, the Bears
do Bear things. They do they just do they do
all right, fantastic, we're up against it. Actually we're late.
Shout out to JB, who has to put up with
my insanity every single morning. You deserve combat paid dude,
appreciate you. Hey, jump in the chat. Well, we love
(01:07:40):
to read some of your comments. I know KG keeps
an eye on that match, keeps an eye on that
of course, super chats. You go to the front of
the line. Where are we going before we get the break?
JB doubling up over to me for two leaks.
Speaker 6 (01:07:52):
Go first, let me clear up the super chats shout
out to everyone sending them. In four ninety nine from
shot two one six, he says, Lions fans are so perceived.
I like the way you did that as actually well
loss and it's the end of the.
Speaker 2 (01:08:05):
World, Shad. I couldn't agree with you more, but like, honestly,
don't say you weren't warned. This year was going to
be like that. This year, like literally this year was
this year. You know what, I know what the guys
in this room know it. Okay, if the Lions went
twelve and five, you know what people are gonna say.
Speaker 20 (01:08:25):
Ugh, you got how many NFL teams go from fifteen
wins to twelve wins? And you guys all got your
parts off right, this was going to be that year, okay,
ma as you said it last night, Let's fast forward.
Speaker 2 (01:08:39):
To the playoffs. Yep, that's it.
Speaker 3 (01:08:41):
I yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:08:42):
If we all agree that the ultimate successful failure of
this season is predicated on what happens in January and February,
I want to press fast forward. Can't so here we are?
Speaker 6 (01:08:53):
I agree with you, shed shut out said also shut out.
Devn the dog didn't want to say anything, just sant
in a dollar to us.
Speaker 5 (01:08:59):
So shout out you shut h.
Speaker 6 (01:09:02):
Burn sent in two dollars Vanilla Julio Jones for Isaac.
Speaker 3 (01:09:10):
That's good, we'll take it.
Speaker 6 (01:09:12):
We'll take it, Vanilla Julio Jones.
Speaker 3 (01:09:15):
One from DJ.
Speaker 6 (01:09:16):
I don't know if this is a DJ reader or not,
but can everyone calm down now?
Speaker 3 (01:09:20):
Five and one loading, five and one. I'm gonna go
for and Tea just went on Sunday.
Speaker 2 (01:09:30):
I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go four and two. The
Ravens game does scare the ship out of me. I'm
not gonna lie. And the rest of them are winnable games,
but you're right, went on. The collective sigh of relief
for the panic stricken will be it'll probably measure on
the Richter scale. Okay, and mam.
Speaker 3 (01:09:50):
I want to see it, yeah, and I need to
see it.
Speaker 6 (01:09:53):
And finally, one more from Burn. He sent in five dollars.
He said, listen, I paid good money to boom if
i' driving in boo at the ticket, boom boo the
free game, boo during.
Speaker 10 (01:10:07):
And then.
Speaker 2 (01:10:09):
Hey, Burn, I hope you understand what I'm I'm not
boo guy, and I don't get mad at anybody who
is boo guy.
Speaker 3 (01:10:15):
But you don't go to games anymore? You do?
Speaker 2 (01:10:17):
You do you like? Honestly, I really don't. I don't
like to go to games anymore. Like you is a
Detroit State bullshit children, Yet do what you do like
it doesn't bother me at all. Like I'm just not
boo guy.
Speaker 3 (01:10:29):
We got the Detroit Heckler working with us.
Speaker 2 (01:10:31):
People people that people that get worked up over that
is it's fascinating to me go boo.
Speaker 18 (01:10:36):
I'm not.
Speaker 2 (01:10:37):

(01:10:58):
all the years my kid and I had like season tickets. Like,
I don't think I ever boomed.

I doesn't.

Speaker 10 (01:14:51):
You want the usual, the big zip.
Speaker 18 (01:14:53):
You know me too well.
Speaker 10 (01:14:56):
I throw a little something extra in there for you.
Oh he's doing all right?
Speaker 5 (01:15:00):
Hi guys, Santo at.
Speaker 10 (01:15:02):
All right, buddy, We'll see you next time. Okay, get
out to see.
Speaker 2 (01:15:11):
Hey, what's up? I want to tell you about Feldman Chevrolet,
Michigan's number one Chevy dealer, five locations all over town.
You got Hyland, you got New Hudson, you got Lancing
you got l Town and of course Nova, that's where
I got my daughter's car. People go to Felvin for
pretty good reason. Larry Bird number one. This month, you
(01:15:33):
got some great deals still going on. You got the
twenty twenty five Silverado fifteen hundred crew that's only one
hundred and eighty nine dollars a month. How about the
twenty twenty six Equinox LT two nineteen a month. This
offer ends in just a few days, so you better
get your behind to Feldman Chevrolet. All right, So we're
(01:15:54):
gonna go around the room. We're gonna involve you guys
with the chat too. For years, I did a bit
on the radio. Monday is set aside for talking about
the Lions, and unfortunately we all wept and we're little
Google babies. Yesterday Tuesday is what did you see in
the NFL? So we're gonna go around the room. What
(01:16:14):
jumped out to you in the National Football League this weekend?
Speaker 13 (01:16:17):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (01:16:18):
What do you think is something we're gonna be talking
about in weeks to come? Because every year we do
the completely useless habitual schedule game and the funny thing
about it and KG you and I did it again
last week like you do it, and you openly admit
as you're doing it, this means nothing. It's what we
(01:16:38):
think we know today and what we know in a
month are two different things.
Speaker 4 (01:16:41):
It's always teams that are elite that end up shitting
the bed, and there's always teams that are bottom of
you know, bottom of the basement that ended up, you know,
getting into the playoffs.
Speaker 5 (01:16:51):
So that's just the story of NFL season.
Speaker 2 (01:16:53):
Mass, What if we're that team this year?
Speaker 3 (01:16:55):
What if we're the how'd you pick that out of
my brain?
Speaker 2 (01:16:58):
I'd love to play pocal I would love to play
poker with you.
Speaker 3 (01:17:03):
You have That's why I don't play.
Speaker 2 (01:17:04):
You have zero player face.
Speaker 3 (01:17:06):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (01:17:06):
I would literally go like this, and Mass would go, how.
Speaker 20 (01:17:09):
Did you know that?
Speaker 3 (01:17:11):
I can't help it? All right?
Speaker 2 (01:17:14):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (01:17:14):
You see my heart it's right here. I know it is.
Speaker 2 (01:17:17):
That's the of it. That's what makes you mad? All right?
Speaker 18 (01:17:19):
Hey?
Speaker 2 (01:17:20):
Can I bring up one thing very quickly because I
saw a lot of people complaining about it. So Michigan
State next week is playing at USC and they made
it an eleven o'clock game. JB. I'm not mad at it.
I'm not I'm not mad at it.
Speaker 5 (01:17:34):
I mean, I don't I don't mind it.
Speaker 6 (01:17:35):
Obviously, I love football, so I'm gonna stay up and
watch this regardless it's my team as well. To eleven
o'clock at night, it does seem kind of late, but like, hey,
I'm I mean, I wouldn't mind a little night cap,
just you know, cap off everything.
Speaker 2 (01:17:48):
I I end up staying late. Neil and I end
up texting each other at like one o'clock watching the
yes useless games. Right, so you give me a chance
to watch, as you you said, my team.
Speaker 3 (01:18:01):
You will nap though.
Speaker 2 (01:18:02):
Oh there's a nap.
Speaker 3 (01:18:03):
Oh there's a nap in.
Speaker 2 (01:18:04):
Yeah, well I'm mixing a nap in that day. Well,
it's funny, you know what you guys, they'd never do
that to Michigan.
Speaker 3 (01:18:10):
No, they would, they would never do I don't think
that's ever happened.
Speaker 2 (01:18:12):
They would never ever do that to Michigan.
Speaker 3 (01:18:15):
Never ever, that damn brand.
Speaker 2 (01:18:16):
Now, aren't there a couple? There are a couple? Well,
and in fairness, you know what, I would say, until
they blew it the good the good credit that they had,
I don't think they would have done that to Michigan
State during prime D'Antonio era you know that was that
was a primetime team. They were, I mean, Michigan State
was a prime time team. There's there's no other way
to say that.
Speaker 3 (01:18:35):
You had a good ten years.
Speaker 2 (01:18:37):
Yeah, you know what, in particular, I think the thirteen
to fifteen is when you could say elite. You know,
I mean, I'm never gonna begrudge a Cole Big Ten
championship or winning the division, but you know, thirteen to
fifteen was that was a leade.
Speaker 3 (01:18:51):
Those kids that were born those kids that were born
during that era, they didn't know Michigan played football, the Wolverines.
Speaker 2 (01:18:59):
Funny say that all. So my son graduated in twenty seventeen. Okay,
the last time that Michigan was really really really relevant,
okay was two thousand and four. You gotta remember that
was the last time that they wanted a big title.
And so these kids grew up, my son and all
his friends grew up with Michigan State. They were a
(01:19:19):
bad boy and it wasn't just it wasn't just what
they were doing in a conference. It's what they were
doing in Michigan in particular, you know, And how many
of those games were just poundings. So it was funny,
I would try to explain it to my son all
the time. You better take this in because I don't
know how much longer it's gonna last.
Speaker 5 (01:19:36):
Enjoy it.
Speaker 2 (01:19:37):
You better take this in for everything you got, because
I never seen this in my entire lifetime, JB. I
never saw Michigan State beat Michigan two years in a row.
Speaker 3 (01:19:45):
Never.
Speaker 2 (01:19:46):
I never saw it.
Speaker 3 (01:19:47):
Like, hey, Freddie Felts at mas MSU playing games during murder,
she wrote, reruns. Now, that's pretty funny.
Speaker 2 (01:19:58):
Now you have to own it. Of course, there's a
reason that they're murder, she wrote. He always the dramatic
Pat Summer. All right, what did he was an announcer, guy,
fl What did you mage? What jumped out to you
this week?
Speaker 3 (01:20:18):
Well, a lot of great quarterback play from guys. You
really didn't expect it from Danny Dimes and the Colts.
Three touchdowns for him running like the quarterback that he
remember that that play against the Vikings where he ran
and he tripped at the end. He had a touchdown,
but he tripped anyway. Baker Mayfield Atlanta scores late. Baker
(01:20:39):
gets the ball with a minute to go, drives his
team down the field for the game winning touchdown to Abuca.
That's another thing. And of course the night game, your
guy Josh Allen amazing outdueling Lamar Jackson, who got in
a little trouble if you remember, ran in the end zone.
Some idiot touched his helmet and he pushed back on
(01:20:59):
the the player both apologized by the way that fan
has been bought banned from the games because he did
that to somebody else as well, So that that fan
in Buffalo band, Uh, he's out of there. A couple
other things, A couple of Kyler Murray looked, okay, they
gotta win as well. Matthew Stafford, the tenth quarterback to
(01:21:21):
join the sixty thousand yard club.
Speaker 2 (01:21:26):
His teeth freaked me out. Can we say that? Did
you see it?
Speaker 3 (01:21:30):
I didn't see his teeth. What happened to his teeth?
Does he braces?
Speaker 2 (01:21:35):
Just look at it?
Speaker 3 (01:21:38):
He has veneers that looks like, wow, it really does
the mask.
Speaker 2 (01:21:44):
It's it's kind of creepy. God, I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker 3 (01:21:50):
Aaron Rodgers we talked about yesterday. Uh, Aaron Glenn, Can
I play a piece of sound for you from Aaron Glenn?
The guy that we're rooting for. Aaron Glenn after that
tough Jets loss.
Speaker 22 (01:22:03):
Exciting game, but I'm not into more victories.
Speaker 3 (01:22:07):
Uh.
Speaker 22 (01:22:07):
This was a game that man, it was back and forth,
a lot of fighting. I thought offensively, we did it.
Not a lot of good things offensively that we can
build on. The one thing to me that that had
to turn this game is, man, we can't have turnovers.
Speaker 5 (01:22:22):
We can't do it.
Speaker 22 (01:22:24):
We have to be a more disciplined team.
Speaker 13 (01:22:26):
Right.
Speaker 22 (01:22:26):
There were some penalties that happened in that game that
was was true discipline issues. And again that's something that
will be addressed because you will not be on the
field with this team. If you're gonna cause us to
lose games, you're gonna cause issues like that. So we
will get that addressed. And we got to continue to work.
The one thing I told all guys listen, we got
Buffalo coming here next week. Damn good team. We all
(01:22:47):
know that the only thing we can do is get
back to work next week.
Speaker 19 (01:22:51):
It was nice to win, especially, you know, hearing some
of the cat calls out there and the blue Birds.
You know, I don't I'm not sensitive about that. I
expected that, you know, I kind of like that. But
there were probably people in the organization. I didn't think
I could play anymore, so it was nice to remind
those people.
Speaker 3 (01:23:12):
I still can't touchdowns from Aaron Rodgers, by the way,
I mean, could the NFL have written a better schedule
to open it up? Jets Steelers? Steelers last year had
Justin what's his name, Justin Fields. He plays for the Jets.
Now Aaron Rodgers played for the Jets. Now he plays
(01:23:33):
for the Steelers. It's like it's like they almost know
what's gonna happen, isn't it. It's wrestling the soap opera
that the NFL does. Isn't it amazing? Tom Brady returning
to Foxborough as a Raiders owner and Geno Mahomes throwing
for three hundred and sixty two yards Pretty damn pretty
damn good. Bed There were some good ones. Cleveland needs
(01:23:55):
a kicker again. They should have beat the Bengals.
Speaker 2 (01:23:57):
That's the one I was going to bring up. Yeah, okay,
we had those two teams coming sooner rather than later.
If those aren't two wins, shame on us that that
was awful. And I know the Bengals are gonna turn
it on. Here come. The Bengals is gonna happen at
some point in time this year. Okay, surely, Oh no,
here they come. They're getting right all that ship.
Speaker 3 (01:24:19):
Okay, that's terrible. At the beginning of the season, that
game was awful.
Speaker 5 (01:24:22):
They're destined to go too. It's just in their trajectory every.
Speaker 10 (01:24:26):
Year it is.
Speaker 2 (01:24:28):
It is amazing. It is absolutely amazing. Anything jump up
to you.
Speaker 4 (01:24:33):
Just the fact that Mike McDaniel should be fired right now.
It's getting worse for him. Bro at eight, bro like
to the Colts dives.
Speaker 5 (01:24:45):
That's tough, bro. And I'm sorry Miami is.
Speaker 4 (01:24:48):
I think they're cooked. They were they were cooked a
long time ago. But people all two was still good. Oh,
Tyreek Hill. I think everyone on that team is watched.
Speaker 3 (01:24:57):
Tyreek Hill hasn't had a hundred yard game in like
a year and a half.
Speaker 5 (01:25:00):
It's over.
Speaker 2 (01:25:01):
I want to give Neil credit because one of the
funniest things he came up with was with and Or.
You know, the teams that are constantly in that five
hundred range that their fan bases are going, well, we
can get in if this team loses to and this
team loses to like that was the With and Or Bowl.
The Indianapolis Colts of the Miami Dolphins almost every year
(01:25:23):
seemed to be just right there it is. It is hysterical.
That was awful.
Speaker 5 (01:25:28):
Yeah, I don't think it's getting any better for the
for the Dolphins. Damn cults for real with dives.
Speaker 2 (01:25:35):
Oh, don't do that, didn't what's his nuts? What's the
guy who's on ESPN now, former Colt punter? Why can't
you think about he's the Colt super Bowl Champions of
culture all that stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:25:48):
Good quarterback? Like, seriously, I'm sure they pay part of
a salary.
Speaker 2 (01:25:53):
Like, seriously, what are we doing here? JB anything jump
out to you? What did you see in the NFL?
Speaker 6 (01:25:59):
I mean, besides Matthew Staffer's teeth?
Speaker 2 (01:26:01):
Dude, Oh, I'm sorry, that's l A.
Speaker 3 (01:26:07):
Hey, baby, that's the l A.
Speaker 5 (01:26:12):
Jack Nicholson almost oh, Gary, looking at.
Speaker 2 (01:26:19):
My wife wants you to come on her podcast.
Speaker 3 (01:26:24):
Hey, that's an old that's a really young picture of
Matthew that.
Speaker 2 (01:26:29):
Those are some young baby teeth.
Speaker 3 (01:26:31):
How it was, This is how I was going. You're
in l A man, You're in l A. You gotta
you gotta brighten the smile in l A.
Speaker 23 (01:26:38):
You gotta It's part of the can one guy be Hey, Kelly.
Speaker 2 (01:26:49):
You gotta tone it down a little podcast.
Speaker 3 (01:26:54):
I want to see show Hayes teeth in another year.
Speaker 24 (01:26:57):
My gosh, he kept showing him smiling on the sideline.
It was so uncomfortable. It was like, honestly, it was
the mask and Jim Carreys.
Speaker 3 (01:27:08):
Down this smoky hey. But sixty thousand passing yards, that's
that's pretty damn good. Only ten quarterbacks to ever do that,
and he's one of them.
Speaker 20 (01:27:19):
And he was.
Speaker 3 (01:27:20):
He He's our guy, man, he was our guy. I
know he's not anymore, but he was our guy.
Speaker 2 (01:27:26):
I thank the Good Lord every day he asked out
of here, like I'm serious, I get it.
Speaker 5 (01:27:31):
We'd spot think.
Speaker 2 (01:27:33):
I thank the Good Lord every day he asked out
of here.
Speaker 5 (01:27:35):
He made the ultimate sacrifice for a lot.
Speaker 18 (01:27:37):
Thank you, like he.
Speaker 2 (01:27:41):
Really yeah it was. He pulled up the Samurai sword
and just like man, that was that was. I liked
Matthew I did. I liked him. I liked him as
a person. I thought he was a good quarterback. And
I thank the Lord every single day that he left, like,
thank you for demanding that trade.
Speaker 3 (01:27:59):
The greatest trade for both teams and the history of football,
of sports.
Speaker 2 (01:28:04):
I will say this again, and you know, people don't
like to hear it. Okay, the Rams won that trade
for now, of course, Okay, when we when we win
a super Bowl, not if when we win a Super
Bowl and and the pieces are a part of it,
then we can we can do that.
Speaker 3 (01:28:21):
The Lions were born after that trade. Yeah, reborn. Yeah, yeah,
it was reborn.
Speaker 2 (01:28:28):
It was part of the master plan, is you know,
because I mean there was that cool story that you
saw a couple of weeks ago where they all sat
down and they signed that that that that document like
their creed of what they wanted this franchise to be.
And they have it on each one of their offices
down at the facility, and and every every person signed
it and said this is our mantra, this is what
(01:28:49):
we want to do. And that was a part of
the rebirth of this franchise and becoming a legitimate National
Football League franchise.
Speaker 3 (01:28:56):
Has to bring a guy like Chris Spielman from the
dark days and the great days to now and tell
these people that are running this franchise, Sheila and her
group of guys rod Wood to hire the right people,
to hire Dan Campbell. They did what a lot of
people don't do. They hired their coach prior to hiring
their general manager and it worked. But don't I got
(01:29:20):
a lot of people in the chat saying, all right,
we're gonna get clowney. We're not. They're not gonna sign
those kind of guys. So if you're buying in with Brad,
you gotta buy in the way he's doing it. He
ain't signing name guys, he's not bringing in free agents
that cost anything. He's paying his own guys. He paid
(01:29:41):
Jamo twenty eight twenty seven million a year, way ahead
of time if you ask me, But he did, Maz.
Speaker 2 (01:29:47):
Do you know what it reminds me of? And I'm
not going I don't argue with logic. I'm not a
fan of argument logic. But do you know what it
reminds me of. It reminds me of all the Tiger
fans that have told us for two years and they
become very quiet. Oh, don't worry, Ownership will ownership will
spend when it's time. Don't worry. You talk about we
can do Tiger's in particular when we're ready to compete. Yeah,
(01:30:10):
that's what. Okay, you can keep saying that, you can
say it until you're tiger blue in the face. Okay,
but nobody is gonna believe you until it actually happens,
because it's not something we've seen going over the top
saying now when we compete, we're gonna spare no expense.
You want to change the narrative, lock up Terrek School.
(01:30:32):
We all know it's not going to happen, so we'll
move on. And I think the same thing can be
said for Brad Holmes. If you're one of those guys
expecting it this trade deadline, I don't see it. I
just don't.
Speaker 3 (01:30:44):
It's not gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (01:30:45):
It's he might, he might. You know, there might be.
Hey man, there's this guy JB that we think is
being underutilized that maybe maybe you don't, that you don't
pay attention to in Carolina. But this is a guy
that probably needs a change of scenery and he can
be pretty darn good for us. But if you're expecting
the name and the big flashy move, there's no reason
(01:31:05):
to believe it's gonna happen. Yeah, that doesn't mean it can't.
Just like the otus is still on Christopher Illage. Okay, Christopher,
you want to change a narrative change an raive. Don't
talk about changing the narrative. Change in narrative. I mean,
talk is cheap. You you go out and you do
something bold and bombastic and throw that money out there. Yeah,
then then at that point in time, it's on the
(01:31:27):
other person. Hey, wow, I didn't expect to do that, props.
And that's where we're at with Brad right now. I agree.
Speaker 3 (01:31:33):
I don't expect something us a tragedy strikes. Don't expect anything.
Speaker 2 (01:31:38):
Hella tragedy struck last year.
Speaker 3 (01:31:41):
But they got a Zadarius Smith.
Speaker 2 (01:31:43):
But you know what was that an impact?
Speaker 10 (01:31:46):
Guy?
Speaker 3 (01:31:46):
I'm saying they got a guy big and bold.
Speaker 2 (01:31:48):
You know that's that's that's the way I look at it.
So all right, by the way, did you guy John
Harbaugh's on John Harbaugh? By the way, that was great coach? Right?
Speaker 3 (01:31:58):
Wow?
Speaker 2 (01:31:59):
Can we all say that it was a status? I
know that where I'm gonna get to it. Can we
can we all? Great coach?
Speaker 5 (01:32:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:32:06):
Here, okay, for you to stay in this league this
long with different rosters like I am so serious, tip
of the cap shit right. He has lost seventeen in
his career, seventeen blown double digit leads. Damn, holy shit,
(01:32:29):
that's insane, and I mean mad respect for the guy.
I am so serious when I say that, mad respect
for the guy. You cannot coach in this league at
the level that he's coached at without being one hell
of a coach man and one hell of a guy
for the players to follow. That's insane.
Speaker 5 (01:32:51):
Is this a year fan?
Speaker 3 (01:32:59):
I'm not gonna blame They're not gonna blame Lamar.
Speaker 2 (01:33:03):
I'll I'll say no. I'm not real confident about that though,
because let's take it to its logical conclusion. Okay, let's
they go to the playoff, first round of the playoff,
first round of the playoff, they get beat.
Speaker 5 (01:33:20):
That's his job. I feel like somebody, it might be
somebody got answer.
Speaker 2 (01:33:27):
And no, that's exactly because now we're wasting Lamar Jackson.
That's you're gonna, You're gonna. It's It's just like I
say this all the time, what Dan Campbell said after
the Frisco game. Nobody Frisco, Frisco, Frisco. Nobody wanted to
hear it. Nobody wanted to hear it. But it's the truth. Okay,
it's not that easy to get back. No, Okay, and
(01:33:47):
we're kind of living that a little bit right now. Okay,
if you told me five years ago Josh Allen Lamar
Jackson would be to a collective zero super Bowls, I
probably would have laughed at you.
Speaker 5 (01:33:57):
Right, you think they at least appear in one?
Speaker 4 (01:33:59):
Right?
Speaker 5 (01:34:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:34:00):
No, I see a lot of no's in the chat
and shout out to James. They'd have to miss the
playoffs for that to happen, So.
Speaker 5 (01:34:07):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:34:07):
I'm just saying, though, they can't continue to lose over there,
and same with Mike Tomlin, two long standing coaches. You
cannot continue to lose or get in the playoffs. And
did get bounced like it just eventually some mass happened his.
Speaker 3 (01:34:20):
After all, Listen, Carlos, someone's got to answer for Santino.
You gotta answer for Santino. Don't don't sit there and
tell me that you had nothing to do with this.
Speaker 2 (01:34:30):
I mean, listen, Baltimore. Baltimore should win that division, right,
oh god, yes, like they should win that division and
you win the division again and you're out early. Yeah tough,
and you and I are. I'm in the Tomlin fan club.
You talk about a guy that has been done more
(01:34:52):
with less that guy. I like, I'm serious, I got
mad respect for Tomlin. Yeah, but you have to wonder
when they say okay, enough time to go in.
Speaker 4 (01:35:00):
A different directions playing for his job this year with
this Aaron Rodgers experiment, he has hissed his wagon to
the devil.
Speaker 5 (01:35:07):
The hope and pray that it works because this man
is a franchise destroyer. It looks great. Now, let's see
what it looks like in week seven.
Speaker 3 (01:35:15):
What was that Pacino movie when he was the devil
Peel in the egg the devil, that's Tomlin, that's Tomlin.
Speaker 2 (01:35:23):
There are some pretty sweet scenes in that movie.
Speaker 3 (01:35:25):
Oh God, yes, God, yes.
Speaker 2 (01:35:29):
At Will Will Will.
Speaker 3 (01:35:33):
F A W.
Speaker 9 (01:35:38):
A W.
Speaker 2 (01:35:40):
So much of the talk yesterday was about the Lions
offensive woes. JB. If we can very quickly before we
hit to the break, can can we get Baldy talking
about the Lions offensive woes. I'm gonna tell you on
a personal love offensive line, the the the yeah, the
old line woes. I am like sometimes in a state
(01:36:01):
of shock at the lack of overall football knowledge for people.
I'm not even being funny, I'm not I'm not Some
of the shit that I read yesterday. It's just like
it's a I told a guy on Twitter, and if
you're watching, I don't know what to tell you. Like
this conversation I had with a guy. It wasn't even
football fifty one, Like, it wasn't even the one oh
one level. It was fifty one stuff, and it just
(01:36:22):
he couldn't grasp And then you kind of go, Okay,
well that's nothing you can be, like, there's nothing.
Speaker 10 (01:36:27):
You can do.
Speaker 2 (01:36:28):
And I even I go, dude, you can't be this dumb.
You're trolling right. You can't be. Here's Baldy on the
woes of the offensive line.
Speaker 14 (01:36:38):
This is third and sixteen from the two yard line.
These are kind of things that happened when you have
to replace a great right guard and an all pro
center and you hand the ball off just to get
out of your own end zone and you do this.
Speaker 5 (01:36:53):
Now I'm not blaming anybody.
Speaker 14 (01:36:55):
I'm just saying David Montgomery ran right into Kolby Wooden
right here at the go line. Like these things happen
when you have to replace great players. Detroit couldn't run
the ball at all against the Packers. Montgomery and Gibbs
ran twenty times for forty four yards that could have
been a safety.
Speaker 10 (01:37:13):
That was ugly.
Speaker 2 (01:37:15):
I'm gonna say it again, Okay.
Speaker 3 (01:37:17):
I never saw anything worse than those three plays.
Speaker 5 (01:37:19):
Yeah, they said, baldy body normally excited the Lions.
Speaker 2 (01:37:23):
You cannot put a price tag. And again, he isn't
coming back. Maz thinks he is. I think man's nose
deep down inside, he isn't coming back. Frank ragnow is
not coming back. Okay. Like the little tweet that I
put out was an indictment on how bad the offensive
line was. The center is the anchor of the line.
(01:37:45):
The center is the smart guy on the line. The
center is the guy that tells everybody what the assignments
are and what the alignments are and reads it pre snap.
Speaker 3 (01:37:55):
Talk to him, please, so right, talk to that guy
behind you, please.
Speaker 2 (01:37:59):
Yes, okay. So the center sitting I'm sitting next to
Mass going like this. Okay. How many times do you
see the center like this. He's in his crouch and
he's going like this, Mass, Look over there, okay, KG,
look over there he is. When you take that out
of your lineup, I said this day one when it
happened live. When you take out one of the best
(01:38:21):
centers in the game. Okay, you don't just replace that.
You cannot quantify the loss of Frank ragnow to the seam.
You can't. Now again, do I think it can get better? Absolutely?
Do I think that we can watch growth. Absolutely. Might
it be just a bad game, absolutely, all those variables are.
(01:38:43):
But to think that it was going to harm all right,
losing a guy of that magnitude and what he brings
to the table was absolutely moronic. But that's what happens
when we're going into this season. It doesn't matter. We
can lose this guy, that guy, this guy, everything is awesome.
You know, kill the Lego Landsaw. That was insane and
I hope everybody can admit it. It doesn't mean that
(01:39:05):
this is the way it's going to be the rest
of the year. Okay. But what the center does is
not just what the center does. It is integral to
the entire line. And that's why I say, again, you're
a moron if you don't understand that, you don't understand football.
And that's okay, but at least listen to people that
have kind of an idea of what's going on. People
(01:39:28):
you know, like Baldy Forget me, who the freak. Am
I right? Come on, man, that's the stuff that drove
me nuts yesterday. We saw more of that stuff than
you could shake a stick at.
Speaker 3 (01:39:38):
Like, come on, it is glaring.
Speaker 10 (01:39:41):
It is that.
Speaker 3 (01:39:42):
It's both lines right now. But like I said, the
defensive team in the second half came on and did
their job and they shut down the Packers. In the
second half, the offense couldn't get out of their own way,
and Baldy just showed you why.
Speaker 2 (01:40:00):
All right, listen, you're never gonna believe this. We are
way late again. Uh so can we come We'll come
back quickly. I want to talk about the Tigers a
little bit. Scott Harris said something that really kind of
ticked me off yesterday, and I'm not gonna lie, like
I'm sure I can't believe it came out of his mouth,
especially after the fail of the trade deadline, and we
(01:40:23):
can all say it was a fail.
Speaker 3 (01:40:25):
Right, doesn't Paul Seawall get a pitch JP.
Speaker 2 (01:40:29):
Where are we going?
Speaker 5 (01:40:29):
We'll save us. We need to hear from mad pass.
But we do have some super tests that we got
a clear up.
Speaker 6 (01:40:34):
Shout out to everyone, sending a thank you nine, he
said after watching the Bears collapse last night.
Speaker 5 (01:40:41):
I'm not worried. I'm confident we.
Speaker 6 (01:40:43):
Will win this game and go into Baltimore one and
one half faith in this team.
Speaker 2 (01:40:47):
We aren't oh and we aren't losing the Bears home. Sorry,
not happening. I have it, Chicago Bear fans have pull
this clip, save it, bookmarkt whatever you need and and
then you'll delete it. Sunday afternoon, after the Lines kicked.
Speaker 3 (01:41:01):
Your ass.
Speaker 6 (01:41:03):
And we got another five hours from burn, he sends in.
He said, a bit of a chill peel. Remember the
Packers blew us out for a half in twenty twenty
three at home. The vision isn't settled, as a A
Rod said, R E l A x X relax.
Speaker 2 (01:41:18):
I one hundred percent still believe that the Lions win
this division.
Speaker 9 (01:41:22):
I do.
Speaker 2 (01:41:23):
I also one hundred percent believe in you guys shit
on me for it that the Packers are the second
biggest threat and they they are more dangerous than anybody thought.
And I think they proved that.
Speaker 6 (01:41:32):
On Sunday, and we got four ninety nine from Shane,
he sends in. He said, I'm sorry, I blame myself
for the loss. I saw the golf body watched.
Speaker 3 (01:41:42):
Their Walmart and myself before the game going down to
buy it.
Speaker 5 (01:41:48):
It's your false shame.
Speaker 2 (01:41:51):
I think we all need to do that. We need
a group outing. Okay, let's let's just go get it
and we're gonna go clean. Okay, fantastic, All right, let's
hear from Matt back.

Speaker 23 (01:45:44):

Speaker 5 (01:45:45):
Look at you up there with the shock face. So
you would be up there with the shock.
Speaker 2 (01:45:48):
That woman is so hot.
Speaker 3 (01:45:49):
Thatt the hell off.
Speaker 2 (01:45:51):
She's naughty.
Speaker 5 (01:45:51):
You know she is your carpet man.
Speaker 3 (01:45:55):
Cut the hell off my carpet.
Speaker 2 (01:45:57):
Hey, listen very quickly. We know the Detroit Lions are
the top billions. Great end of story, no doubt about that.
Speaker 3 (01:46:05):
And the Tigers are very happy about that.
Speaker 2 (01:46:06):
Yeah they should be. Say things have transpired. Okay, thankfully
they're in this division. We all know how that works.
Can we play this very quickly? This is from the
podcast Dan Miller and Jason Bennetti do a great job
or Dan Miller, Dan Dickerson, Jason Bennetti do a great
job in this podcast, okacers, And the guy who films
(01:46:28):
it every week is is really an incredibly talented guy.
I do know him, okay, but wings and he ends
he As a matter of fact, I think this weekend
he's gonna be at a B Dubs near you.
Speaker 5 (01:46:40):
Oh we do.
Speaker 2 (01:46:41):
I think he's gonna be a bit. This is what
Scott Harris said on the podcast.
Speaker 3 (01:46:46):
We should be so lucky to have Scott had.
Speaker 2 (01:46:48):
With Dan Dickerson and Jason Bennetti. And you know what,
I just want to see if you guys got the
same kind of feeling that I did so.
Speaker 25 (01:46:56):
Here it is you've said about the minor league years,
like we want to be here as fast as possible.
The goal is to win the World Series. You've also
talked about wanting to be a consistent winner. Those can
sometimes compete and sometimes they're on the same track. What
do you want fans to know about that balancing act
(01:47:18):
and where you stand on it.
Speaker 26 (01:47:21):
Yeah, I want them to know that I'm really competitive.
I want them to know that like I'm obsessed with winning.
But I also want them to know I guess two things.
One the stress that you feel right now, like in
our games every night, that's a privilege. You know, this
organization has gone long stretches without that stress.
Speaker 5 (01:47:44):
In September and October. This is the fun part for it.
I mean, this is the really fun part.
Speaker 26 (01:47:51):
Like that you know you're heart racing at nine to
forty five on a Tuesday night, Like that's a privilege,
and like I hope, I hope people are enjoying it.
Speaker 3 (01:48:01):
Facing all right, I had to hold onto my water.
Speaker 2 (01:48:08):
Really, sorry, I water next year. I threw that with
more force and I normally throw. Yeah, that was a sorry.
Speaker 3 (01:48:17):
I'm privileged.
Speaker 5 (01:48:19):
Enjoy it.
Speaker 2 (01:48:20):
We should be grateful that Scott Harris has put us
in this position where we're in a shitty division, that
we've had to poop our pantsy and till your second
half wondering are we really gonna blow this? Have one
starting pitcher and basically watch a trade deadline where you
made the team worse, not better. We should we should
(01:48:41):
all be what a privilege to have that we added
Charlie Morton and Chris Paddock.
Speaker 3 (01:48:48):
Don't forget I'll see Walt.
Speaker 2 (01:48:50):
Thank you, Thank you, Scott Harris.
Speaker 20 (01:48:54):
I love sitting at home every night being miserable watching
the Tigers.
Speaker 2 (01:49:00):
Dude, I'm saying that rubbed me the wrong way.
Speaker 3 (01:49:01):
I'm sorry it hashtag smug listen, man, you had to
get a bat. You had to get a bat and
a real arm you signed. I even forgot his name,
Alex Cobb. And it was a mistake. It was a
bad mistake. You did a Brad Holmes. He did a
(01:49:23):
Brad Holmes. You signed an injured player, and it blew
up in your face. The poor bastard cave and walk.
He retired from baseball. He's done. I don't know if
he retired yet, but he should. And then you get
another guy, Paul Sewald. We're never gonna see him either.
He's still in a bullpen session.
Speaker 2 (01:49:43):
Finnigan was outstanding and now he's hurt. Yes, okay, it
feel even worse. But it's a privilege. It's a privilege
to be watching these games at night, especially for a
franchise where we haven't won in forty one years. And
there's generations, not a generation, generations of die hard Tiger
(01:50:04):
fans like KG who just want one World Series, just one,
just one. But it's a privilege. Okay, cool, geez, sorry, dude,
like Scott horrible take, horrible, horrible take that. You're not
the thing to say right now, man, not the thing
to say.
Speaker 3 (01:50:23):
Casey mis Will Warren Tonight from the stadium in the Bronx.
Speaker 5 (01:50:27):
We gonna see how competitive he is this offseason.
Speaker 3 (01:50:29):
Banks are starting to play good. They are two games
behind the Tigers right now. Two games behind Tigers are
a game back of the Jays. You don't want to
fall into that wild card spot and have to go
to Houston or Seattle and play that extra game.
Speaker 2 (01:50:45):
Hang on, what are they four games? Four games ahead
of Houston right now?
Speaker 3 (01:50:49):
Is it four less three four games ahead of Seattle? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:50:56):
Yeah, X extra round? You're out in the first round. Nah,
you know what you got, schoobl So you assume you
get one win there, right?
Speaker 3 (01:51:03):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:51:04):
All you have to do is win one or the
other two.
Speaker 3 (01:51:06):
It might be better if they were in a wild
card because I think they could win two out of three.
I don't think they could. I don't think they can
win three out of five.
Speaker 2 (01:51:13):
I don't like their chances in five, three out of five.
Speaker 3 (01:51:15):
I don't see it.
Speaker 2 (01:51:15):
I don't I don't see. Like I said, you you legitimately,
and we're gonna get to what strut of with JB.
Smooth in a second. You legitimately, you you go game one.
I'm sorry you guys. I'm patting myself on the back.
I've been telling you for months they don't have a
number two starter, and they don't. Nobody can argue it. Now.
I think, I think Jack, I think it was awful
on Friday, and then you have the then you have
(01:51:37):
the day off between travel, and then you come back
with Casey Miz and then you are in a position
to start Schooble again. In game four you are, and
God forbid you have to go to a game five
because then you have to come back to Jack Fleury.
Good luck. But again, guys, count your blessings. Would it's
(01:51:59):
a privilege he's.
Speaker 4 (01:52:01):
To have two years of winning baseball after a decade
of being covered in ship.
Speaker 2 (01:52:05):
Yes, it's a privilege, sure, Scott dude, Like, come on, man,
like that's tone death.
Speaker 3 (01:52:13):
Sorry, and these guys aren't even his players.
Speaker 2 (01:52:15):
Like like, seriously, come on, man, you want to stop
a narrative. A lot of people are playing that smartest
guy in the room stuff with you, and then you
go and say something like that.
Speaker 3 (01:52:25):
And for what I understand, flying man, he is not
an easy guy to deal with. Other major league general
managers got his number. He's like the worst fantasy owner
in your in your Fantasy League. He wants to trade
you shlock for good stuff?
Speaker 2 (01:52:42):
All right, what's trying it with? JB Smooth?
Speaker 18 (01:52:44):
What up?
Speaker 2 (01:52:44):
JB?
Speaker 5 (01:52:45):
Hey? What's going on?
Speaker 10 (01:52:46):
Fellas?
Speaker 6 (01:52:47):
What's going on in Chad family?
Speaker 3 (01:52:48):
As well to shout out to grow Gold.
Speaker 6 (01:52:51):
Crowns or camping and seven As to West Printing, I
got some videos for you guys.
Speaker 12 (01:52:56):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (01:52:57):
You guys know that dillygate is not over with.
Speaker 10 (01:53:01):
It's not done yet.
Speaker 6 (01:53:02):
Even though it started in the w n B A
is continued on last night at the Chicago Bears game
as a security guard had to.
Speaker 2 (01:53:09):
Remove a dilly that.
Speaker 5 (01:53:13):
Got one the NFL game.
Speaker 6 (01:53:15):
Yep, see it continues on everybody, Dilly Gate.
Speaker 2 (01:53:18):
Does my guy got gloves on? Or did he grab
that bear handed? You are one brave human being.
Speaker 5 (01:53:24):
He grabbed at the at the end.
Speaker 2 (01:53:28):
You know what, I've seen those things stuffed in pretty.
Speaker 20 (01:53:30):
Far and.
Speaker 3 (01:53:32):
That was that left over from the Chicago Sky game.
Speaker 27 (01:53:34):
Dude, Ain't no way, Angel, ain't no way. I'm picking.
I'm not picking, man, I am not picking that up
with a bare hand, No way.
Speaker 6 (01:53:52):
Gotta watch out.
Speaker 5 (01:53:53):
Like I said, Dilly Gates still not over with yet.
Speaker 3 (01:53:55):
So Charlotte, you do your only fans do something.
Speaker 5 (01:54:00):
I hope Sean aint got old.
Speaker 2 (01:54:02):
Don't you remember we were talking about that this morning fellas, remember.
Speaker 3 (01:54:05):
Yeah, I remember.
Speaker 2 (01:54:08):
Hey, guys, you want to watch.
Speaker 9 (01:54:14):
Me?
Speaker 3 (01:54:14):
No, I don't want to watch undred fifty thousand.
Speaker 2 (01:54:19):
Okay, you pay me that, Yeah, give me that Dilli.
Speaker 6 (01:54:25):
Moving on, guys, remember when you're working on your car,
please put on the parking break.
Speaker 5 (01:54:31):
Oh no, no, no, no, hell of it, the shutout.
Speaker 2 (01:54:44):
I'm looking at the chicken.
Speaker 5 (01:54:47):
What the hell, bro, you're not stopping the car. Let
it go?
Speaker 3 (01:54:52):
He thought he had.
Speaker 10 (01:54:55):
What the hell is that?
Speaker 2 (01:54:56):
Is it a chicken?
Speaker 5 (01:54:57):
Yeah, that's a little dog.
Speaker 2 (01:54:59):
Oh, it's a little food.
Speaker 3 (01:55:00):

see that car in the front of the house, red
and white one. I'm getting you that one. If you
give me where I gotta go, I'm getting you that one.
Speaker 5 (01:55:13):
Danny Holy, the best.
Speaker 2 (01:55:15):
Word is he thinks, are you so lucky? That didn't
hit anything? I mean that all is well? That ends
well with it ended up where it did.
Speaker 5 (01:55:21):

Speaker 3 (01:55:23):

Speaker 2 (01:55:26):

Speaker 3 (01:55:29):
He definitely has broken hands.
Speaker 6 (01:55:31):
And finally, what's trending with this definitely an f A
W guy that we need to get a T shirt.
Speaker 9 (01:55:40):
Nothing beats.
Speaker 4 (01:55:42):
Right now.
Speaker 2 (01:55:44):
Down nothing.
Speaker 5 (01:55:50):
You can say, I gotta hot tonight.
Speaker 3 (01:55:53):

Speaker 2 (01:56:02):
Today.
Speaker 3 (01:56:03):
But have you never seen anyone plan a fitness doing
that show?
Speaker 23 (01:56:11):
No?
Speaker 2 (01:56:12):
No, no, oh God, shout out to my guys like
yesterday it was. It was funny. I told you. You know,
guys say they watch a showy day. Thank you very much.
We try to have fun every day, so that's the
coolest thing, JB. Any business we need to take care
of before we get out of here. I know we're
about eight breaks behind, so if I have to super read,
I'll super.
Speaker 5 (01:56:32):
We actually do.
Speaker 6 (01:56:33):
We need to hear from Sun Cruisers, bloodies, Ben Johnson,
and of course the great people have black rot.
Speaker 5 (01:56:39):
I'm so sorry.
Speaker 2 (01:56:40):
No, listen you talk, you start talking sports man.
Speaker 3 (01:56:46):
The day, JB.
Speaker 2 (01:56:47):
I am so shocking. No, I want to publicly apologize
to you. Hey, Sundays in Detroit just got smoother with
sun Cruiser vodka. It is outstanding. If you watch the
pregame show, I'm telling you you can't fake get Neil
and I both went crazy for him, real vodka, real
iced tea, clean and crisp only one hundred calories and
(01:57:09):
in those hundred calories you get a wonderful four point
five percent alcohol hit as well. So this season, let
the good times cruise with sun Cruiser and Woodward Sports.
Please drink responsibly and I can tell you about my
friends at Buddies as well. You just had one true story,
(01:57:31):
like someday, Hey, family, what would you want? Can we
get pizza? We went with the Detroit original. Yes, I'm
gonna say it again. I get my thin crust. One
person tried the thin crust, and let me know what
you think. I know it's tough to go against the original,
but try the thin crust. You get that same taste.
It's unbelievable. Twenty two locations all over Michigan. It is
(01:57:54):
a Detroit original. In my book, they invented Detroit Stuff pizza.
They're a cornerstone of the community seventy nine years and
they're doing so much in the community as well. The
most important thing see that save ten percent on your
entire order simply by going promo code ten meal at
(01:58:15):
Buddiespizza dot Com. I got that medium antipasto solid, I
got the large for the wife and the kids. I
got my small thin crust. You do you, that's what
you can do at buddies. Ben Jonson, all right, justice
means different things to different people. It's no coincidence that
then is three letters and law is three letters. You
(01:58:38):
need a fighter, You need somebody who isn't going to
quit for you. Justice is always worth the fight, and
that's why you need that guy, Ben Johnson. You got
a case, you want a fighter, get the justice you deserve.
It's Ben Johnson Law, top tenacious trial lawyers, Ben Johnson Law.
Speaker 3 (01:58:57):
And if you look at a dinner place as that
sizzle tonight's your night at Black Rock Bar and Grill,
home of a Steak on the Stone mentioned Woodward Sports,
get twenty percent off your entire food bill. You know
what today is, It's Tasty Tuesday. Coming up on Thursday,
it's steak and Scampy Day and Sunday Ships. And how
about that summer Flavors menu, or you get that pineapple
(01:59:19):
b let cheesecake. You can crack it right at the table.
You can crack into some how about some crab legs
who doesn't want any crab legs deadly at cats Fan
right here? Get those scrap legs you know it, baby,
it's not a meal. It's an experience only at Black
Rock Grill.
Speaker 2 (01:59:35):
Can I ask you guys, just you do you guys?
Are you guys?
Speaker 3 (01:59:37):
Do you like shrimp?
Speaker 5 (01:59:38):
Of course?
Speaker 2 (01:59:39):
Because you okay you guys, Okay you don't Okay.
Speaker 3 (01:59:43):
Love it all right, cocktail or scampsy.
Speaker 2 (01:59:45):
See, I've done this thing. I do this thing, and
I have to try it for you.
Speaker 9 (01:59:49):
I do.
Speaker 2 (01:59:50):
I do Cajun shrimp with and dewey sausage.
Speaker 3 (01:59:54):
And I put them, Oh that's nice, thick.
Speaker 2 (01:59:57):
So I grill two sausages Cajun style, and then I
got in like a big chunk of and dewey sausage
in the middle. So the next time we're at my house,
I'll make sure I make that video. Dude, I don't
know what it is. It hits like the Cajun sausage
in that and dewey sausage because like and dewey sausage
by itself, it's okay, like I like it. Don't get
(02:00:20):
me wrong, but it's usually has to be a part
of something. But the shrimp and the sausage tried it on,
all right, JB any other business, No, No, we're good
at will I'm telling you, guys.
Speaker 3 (02:00:33):
Go Tigers.
Speaker 2 (02:00:35):
It's a privilege. If they're losing tonight, I want you
to watch the game and go.
Speaker 5 (02:00:40):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (02:00:41):
Thank you that I'm watching this game and caring about
what happens.
Speaker 3 (02:00:46):
Harris, thank you so much. Bye, good night. Oh yes,
