It can also be simply finding amoment of peace and quiet within
yourself while life carries onaround you.

It can be as easy as sitting fora couple of minutes without
checking your phone or drinkinga cup of tea while watching the
steam rise instead ofmultitasking, it's the pause,
the gap, the inhale and exhale,When you start choosing to
pause, your nervous systemstarts to soften.

Your thoughts settle.
You respond to life, not justreact to it.
So just how do you find thatelusive moment of peace and
quiet when everything around youis loud and demanding.
Let's try something right now.
A short mudra practice to helpyou come back to center ya

Mudra are hand gestures.
If you've not heard of thembefore, I invite you to take a
comfortable seat, bring the tipof your thumb and first finger
together in a circle.
And rest your hands.

Palm facing downwards on yourthighs.
This is Yna mudra, the gestureof knowledge and wisdom.
Let your other fingers extendout naturally.
Close your eyes if that feelsokay, or soften your gaze.

Feel the points where yourfingers touch.
Just observe them.
Let your breath be natural.
No need to change it.
Just sit and be.

Feel the weight of your hands onyour legs.
Feel the quiet underneath thethoughts.
Feel the steadiness that'salready here in your mind.

back to the room and gentlyopening your eyes.
