(00:10):
Hey everyone, I'm back with another update.
In this episode, I'll cover illegal immigration related
news, redistricting drama, the federalization of Washington DC,
the Kennedy Center Honors nominee event, and Russia gate.
Of course, I'll end with the noteworthy tidbits.
The Trump administration is converting a closed prison in
Tennessee into an ICE facility for illegal aliens, and DHS
(00:31):
Secretary Kristi Noem revealed that they've received over
110,000 ICE job applications. Borders are.
Tom Holman announced that DC's illegal alien sanctuary city
status has been revoked under President Trump's
federalization. And in one night in DC, the FBI
and other federal agents arrested 29 illegal aliens, 16
of which have ties to violent crime, Florida Governor Ron De
(00:53):
Santis announced Florida is going to have two operational
state created illegal alien detention centers to facilitate
deportations. The first, of course, is
Alligator Alcatraz, and the second will be called
Deportation Depot. Secretary of State Marco Rubio
signed an agreement to push asylum seekers into Paraguay
instead of clogging up the United States asylum system.
And Rubio explained today's signing of a Safe Third Country
(01:17):
Agreement with Paraguay allows asylum seekers in the United
States to pursue their protection claims in Paraguay.
Attorney General Pam Bondi will revoke federal funding from
California if Governor Gavin Newsom refuses to end his state
sanctuary policies for illegal aliens.
And there were several reports of ICE agents and arresting
illegal aliens outside of Newsome's Liberation Day press
conference on redistricting. Those reports are mostly false,
(01:40):
however. A strawberry vendor outside the
press conference was detained for being in the country
illegally, but that was the onlyincident involving an arrest.
The other incident involved approximately a dozen masked
Border Patrol agents who appeared outside the venue to
serve legal documents likely related to a federal
investigation. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass,
who was present, explicitly stated that no arrests were made
(02:03):
and the left After serving the documents.
Newsom and Bass condemned the agents presence as an
intimidating political stunt. And I can't fault them for
feeling that way. If nothing else, I'd guess the
legal documents were served at that time to get under Bass and
Newsome's skin. But hey, maybe it's all a
coincidence. Also this week, Newsom claimed
President Trump will run for a third term as president in 2028,
(02:24):
saying mark my word, these guys are not screwing around.
I received in the mail a Trump 2028 hat.
I'd say if people are mailing Newsome Trump hats, they are
indeed simply screwing around. I'd also say that someone needs
to tell Newsom these Trump 2028 hats are just a way to troll
liberals. But I bet he already knows that
and would rather instead pretendthese hats are serious so that
(02:46):
he can continue to rile up his base to clash with Trump
supporters. In news related strictly to our
southern border, Treasury Secretary Scott Besson
sanctioned several Mexican individuals for the connections
to the Cartel de Jalisco Nueva Generation, a terrorist
organization. On to the redistricting drama
Gavin Newsom continues to hurl redistricting threats at the
Trump administration for allowing red states to
(03:08):
redistrict, but it's really not trump's decision to make.
In California, congressional andstate legislative redistricting
is managed by the Citizens Redistricting Commission, or
CRC, established through the voters first act in 2008 for
state districts and expanded to congressional districts in 2010.
The California Constitution mandates that the CRC redraws
(03:28):
district lines every decade after the US Census to reflect
population changes. Districts must adhere to federal
requirements and state criteria, and the CRC is prohibited from
considering partisan data or incumbent residences to prevent
gerrymandering. Therefore, California's
redistricting is constrained by its independent CRC and
constitutional protections, requiring a 2/3 legislative vote
(03:51):
and voter approval for mid decade changes with potential
legal challenges for bypassing the CRC.
The process in Texas, however, has fewer constraints.
Redistricting is handled by state legislature, with maps
requiring approval by a simple majority in both chambers and
the governor's signature. This process is inherently
partisan, as the legislature andgovernor can draw maps favoring
(04:13):
their party. No independent Commission
exists. Unlike California, the Texas
Constitution allows redistricting after the
decennial census, but does not explicitly prohibit mid decade
redistricting. The US Supreme Court's 2006
ruling in League of United LatinAmerican Citizens versus Perry
explicitly permits mid decade redistricting in Texas, provided
(04:34):
it complies with federal laws like the Voting Rights Act and
equal population requirements. This gives Texas broader legal
flexibility compared to California.
So Newsome's hands aren't tied by the Trump administration like
he claims. His hands are tied by his own
state. Of course, it's easier to blame
our problems on those we don't like, right?
Newsome can't man up to his mistakes and make his state
(04:55):
better because his life is centered around reasons to cry
and moan about the Republican Party on social media,
especially on camera. If he loses that, his life loses
meaning, according to Political A new poll found that California
voters opposed doing away with the state's redistricting
Commission, with 64% of the state's voters wanting to keep
it, including 72% of independents.
(05:16):
Newsom can't be bothered by those he represents, of course,
and he's called for a November 4th, 2025 special election to
gerrymander the California U.S. House map.
The proposed map has been leaked, per Politico, and it
would add five Democrat seats and remove five Republican
seats. This would give 4 out of 52
seats to Republican representatives, meaning less
than 8% of the state has GOP representation.
(05:39):
If you ever wondered how to makea shithole shittier, simply
follow Gavin Newsom. Let's switch to the
federalization of Washington DC.The National Guard and federal
agents, including those from theFBI and DEA, are patrolling the
streets in Washington DC and made 45 arrests in one night.
I've already mentioned the illegal immigration related
arrests, but other arrests include those for possession of
(06:02):
child sex abuse material and assault on a federal officer.
A man threw a sandwich at federal agents in DC and he
faces felony charges. The doozy in this situation is
the man was an employee of the Department of Justice and he
was, of course, fired. The number of homeless and other
people loitering around Union Station in DC is down and
footage has been released of a homeless encampment being
(06:23):
cleared out. Pam Bondi spoke of the
situation, saying despite what we've seen with these crazy
protesters out there, citizens are coming out of their homes
and they're going up to these law enforcement officers and
they are thanking them for keeping them safe and making the
streets safe again. Shifting to the Kennedy Center
Honors nominee event, this eventwas a high profile announcement
held at the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts
(06:44):
in Washington, DC, where President Trump unveiled the
recipients of the 2025 Kennedy Center Honors.
These honors recognize individuals and groups in the
performing arts for their lifetime contributions to
American culture. The event marked the first
honoree announcement since Trumptook control of the Kennedy
Center's board back in February, appointing himself chairman and
replacing Biden appointed trustees with loyalists.
(07:07):
Trump announced the honorees himself, a departure from the
traditional process where a bipartisan advisory committee
selects recipients. And Trump also revealed that he
would host the award ceremony inDecember 2025, a first first
sitting president, despite initially expressing reluctance.
Those honored at this event include country music icon
George Strait, disco legend Gloria Gaynor, the iconic rock
(07:29):
band Kiss, action movie star Sylvester Stallone, and Broadway
star Michael Crawford, who originated the rule of the
Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera.
Let's move on to Russia. Gate Director of National
Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard declassified files that show in
December 2016, shortly before President Trump took office.
Then D and I, James Clapper complied with Obamas orders and
(07:49):
admitted that creating the Russian collusion hoax report
compromised their normal operations, but they continued
anyway. It's also been revealed that
Adam Schiff approved the plan toleak classified information to
damage Trump and James Comedy signed off on leaking classified
information to The New York Times in 2017.
A newly declassified 2017 memo uncovered by FBI Director Kash
(08:11):
Patel outlines alleged politicalobstruction faced by FBI agents
investigating potential corruption involving the Clinton
Foundation during the 2016 election.
Trump called for Pam Bondi to investigate Adam Schiff and
Hillary Clinton for their involvement and represented
James Comer announced federal grand jury deliberations have
begun against the Trump Russia Hoax deep state criminals.
(08:32):

tidbits. President Trump announced that
over 275,000 illegal aliens havebeen kicked off of Social
Security benefits. And Social Security Commissioner
(09:35):
Frank Biziano explained that things are running more
smoothly, saying if you make an appointment to have a field
office visit, it now happens in 6 minutes.
Unprecedented. We are serving more people and
delivering more than was ever delivered before in a manner
with the highest possible quality.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessentsaid it's highly likely Fed
Chair Jerome Powell cuts interest rates next month, and
(09:56):
President Trump revealed he is going to name Powell's
replacement early. President Trump nominated
Rebecca Tableson to serve as a judge on the United States Court
of Appeals for the 7th Circuit in Wisconsin.
GE Appliances will be investing $3 billion in the United States
creating 1000 American manufacturing jobs, and Phillips
is investing over $150 million in manufacturing and research
(10:18):
facilities in Pennsylvania and Minnesota.
President Trump and Russian President Putin are meeting in
Alaska today to see if a peace agreement can be reached between
Russia and Ukraine. the United States delegation at the summit
includes Vice President Vance, Marco Rubio, Scott Besant, and
special envoy Steve Witkoff. When asked if Russia will face
any consequences if Putin does not agree to stop the war after
(10:39):
their meeting today, Trump said yes, they will.
Marco Rubio is moving towards designating the Muslim
Brotherhood as a terrorist organization.
President Trump's approval rating is considerably higher at
this point in his second term than that of Obama and George W
Bush, and his favorability has surged 14 points in the eyes of
Americans and handling crime. Texas Attorney General Ken
(11:00):
Paxton secured a legal agreementfor Kellogg's to remove toxic
artificial dyes from their food.Reportedly, Kellogg's is the
first to officially sign a legally binding agreement to
remove these ingredients. Bessent demanded a stock trading
ban for Congress, saying the American people deserve better
than politicians like Pelosi. With hedge fund level returns.
Public service should be about serving the people, not getting
(11:22):
rich. The traditionally pro Democrat
Teamsters Union is donating to Republicans for the 2026 midterm
elections. First lady Melania Trump has
threatened to sue Hunter Biden for $1 billion over defamation
because Hunter claims Melania has strong ties to Jeffrey
Epstein. Scott Besant revealed the Trump
administration may take in substantially more than $300
(11:43):
billion in tariff revenue. Current Price, A Democrat Los
Angeles Councilman has been charged with corruption for
allegedly embezzling $800,000. According to the New York Post,
the US Supreme Court declined toblock Mississippi's law
requiring age verification for social media usage.
Ergo, parental consent can now be mandated to better protect
children from online predators. And Obama appointed judge
(12:06):
unilaterally struck down and ended President Trump's policies
that eliminate DEI at universities, ensuring federal
funding to schools with DEI. That's all I have for today.
I'll be back with another updatesoon.
