(00:09):
Hey everyone, I'm back with another update.
In this episode, I'll cover tariff talk, illegal immigration
related news, the Recessions package, and drama surrounding
the Epstein files, Jerome Powellnominations, and President
Trump's health. Of course, I'll end with the
noteworthy tidbits, starting with tariff talk.
Fox Business reported that tariff revenues topped a record
$113 billion for the first time during the fiscal year.

(00:32):
And according to the Treasury Department's Customs and certain
excise taxes data, the United States received more than $27
billion in customs duties in June alone.
Italy agreed to purchase $15 billion in USA natural gas
following President Trump's tariff threats and right after
Italy Prime Minister Giorgio Maloney met with Trump at the
White House. This deal increases Europe

(00:53):
reliance on American energy instead of Russian energy, which
was a high priority for Trump. Speaking of energy, Energy
Secretary Chris Wright made the statement.
President Trump has transformed the American energy landscape.
You're going to see a lot more of big, beautiful, clean coal.
On to illegal immigration related news.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is investigating hundreds

(01:14):
of non citizens who voted in both the 2020 and 2022
elections, and Attorney General Pam Bondi and Interior Secretary
Doug Burgum visited Alcatraz to assess the feasibility of
reopening the former federal prison as a detention facility.
ICE raided a grocery store in Philadelphia, resulting in 12
arrests with at least one being a worker, and the Trump
administration has arrested a Subway restaurant operator for

(01:37):
committing immigration fraud. Treasury Secretary Scott Besant
sanctioned 6 leaders and affiliates of the trendy Aragua
Cartel, and ICE now has access to Medicaid data, including
addresses so they can track downillegals.
Stephen Miller confirmed that there have been around 1,000,000
self deportation so far, and a soft amnesty bill has been filed
to allow illegal aliens who crossed the border before 2021 a

(01:58):
pathway to stay and work in America legally.
They'd be eligible for up to seven years of legal status with
work authorization, and they'd need to pay restitution and
check in regularly with DHS. The legal status would be
eligible for renewal with good conduct.
This bill has the support of several Republicans, with
Florida Congresswoman Maria Salazar speaking in Spanish on

(02:18):
Capitol Hill to urge President Trump to support this act.
I'm not sure why Salazar thoughtit would be effective to deliver
her message in Spanish. Let's switch to DOGE cuts. the
US Senate approved the $9.4 billion rescissions package
codifying Department of Government efficiency cuts to
foreign aid and public broadcasting.
It is the first rescissions package passed in over 30 years,

(02:39):
and cuts will include the funding of NPRPBS and the USAID.
As a result, multiple NPR and PBS stations will either be
forced off the air or will need to run fewer shows.
Russ Vaught, the director of theOffice of Management and Budget,
said this package is intentionally small.
To make sure we could get the muscle memory going again.
We're open to send up additionalrescission packages.

(03:01):
The White House confirmed President Trump is looking to
send more Dodge Spending cut packages to Congress after this
current one is approved, switching to the Epstein files
on the 16th. President Trump lashed out on
Truth Social, calling the Epstein files a hoax created by
Democrats to undermine him. Labeling supporters who pushed
for transparency as weaklings doing Democrats work, he urged

(03:21):
them to move on from Epstein. When asked about a special
counsel for the Epstein case, Trump said he has nothing to do
with it and expressed total confidence in Bondi and FBI
leadership. House Speaker Mike Johnson
joined calls for transparency, saying we should put everything
out there and let the people decide it.
Congressman Thomas Miss Massey attempted to force a House vote
to compel the administration to release the files.

(03:43):
Conservative influencers heavilycriticized the administration
and post their own theories and why the situation is being
handled so poorly. The Justice Department fired
federal prosecutor Maureen Comedy, who had prosecuted
Epstein. Maureen Comedy is the daughter
of James Comedy. Media outlets like The New York
Times, CNN and NPR reported the administration's reversal as a
political liability, highlighting how it alienated

(04:05):
mega supporters who viewed Epstein's case as proof of elite
corruption. And a Reuters Ipsos poll
indicated that 69% of Americans believe Epstein details are
being concealed, amplifying public distrust.
On the 17th, Trump shifted slightly, calling for Bondi to
seek court approval to unseal Epstein's grand jury testimony,
prompting Bondi to announce she would move to do so, subject to

(04:27):
a federal judge's approval in the Southern District of New
York. Trump also said that Bondi does
not have to run what she finds by him before releasing it.
And if there's any more credibleevidence, just release it.
The Wall Street Journal reportedthat a letter bearing Trump's
signature was included in a leather bound album compiled by
Ghislaine Maxwell for Epstein's 50th birthday in 2003, three

(04:48):
years before Epstein's first arrest for sexual misconduct.
The letter was described as bodyfeaturing a typewritten note
styled as an imaginary conversation between Trump and
Epstein, framed by a hand drawn outline of a naked woman.
Trump vehemently denied writing the letter or drawing the image,
calling it a fake thing and saying I never wrote a picture
in my life. I don't draw pictures of women.

(05:09):
It's not my language, it's not my words.
Trump posted on Truth Social claiming he and White House
press secretary Caroline Leavitthad warned the Wall Street
Journal and its owner Rupert Murdoch that the letter was fake
and threatened to sue the newspaper, its parent company
News Corp and Murdoch personallyif the story was published.
He reiterated. I'm going to sue his ass off and

(05:30):
accused the outlet of running a false, malicious and defamatory
story. Let's shift from the Epstein
drama to the Jerome Powell drama.
It was reported reported that President Trump waived a firing
letter of Fed Chair Jerome Powell around for House
Republicans to see. But President Trump said he's
not planning to fire Powell unless Powell committed fraud
under the $2.5 billion renovation.
Congresswoman Annapolina Luna criminally referred Powell for

(05:53):
perjury regarding the federal headquarters renovation and
Federal Housing Director Bill Pulte officially requested a
tour of the renovations, saying as someone with deep experience
in construction, I'm requesting to tour the Fed building and the
new ridiculous renovations whichI believe are with fraud.
With wholesale inflation coming in below expectations at 0.00%

(06:13):
over the month and 2.3% over theyear, people are calling for
Powell to lower the interest rate or resign.
On to nominations and even more drama.
President Trump nominated Jennifer Mascot to serve as a
judge on the United States Courtof Appeals for the Third Circuit
and the Senate Judiciary Committee approved Trump's anti
liberal activist judicial nominee Emil Bove, who will also

(06:34):
serve on the 3rd Circuit. Most Democrats walked out in
protest, but Senator Cory Bookerstayed to express his
frustration, confronting SenatorChuck Grassley and others.
To Grassley, he yelled. You are a good man.
You are a decent man. Why are you doing this?
What is Donald Trump saying to you that are making you do
something which is violating thedecorum of this committee, the
rules of this committee, the decency and the respect that we

(06:57):
have each other to at least heareach other out.
Booker also made the comments. This is outrageous.
This is unacceptable. This is wrong.
President Trump's health was called into question over the
past few days as photos of his swollen legs and bruised hand
surfaced. The swelling of his legs
prompted A comprehensive examination by the White House
Medical Unit. Diagnostic tests, including

(07:17):
bilateral lower extremity venousDoppler ultrasounds, revealed
chronic venous insufficiency, a benign condition common in
individuals over 70. CVI occurs when leg veins fail
to efficiently return blood to the heart, causing blood to pool
and leading to swelling. As for the bruised hand, Doctor
Barba Bella attributed the bruising to minor soft tissue
irritation from frequent hand shaking combined with Trump's

(07:41):
use of aspirin, part of a standard cardiovascular
prevention regimen. In the end, it was found that
President Trump is still in excellent health.

be happening soon after discussions with the Trump
administration. The widely used blood thinner

shipped directly to patients starting September 8th.

(10:36):
The Trump administration may be building a criminal conspiracy
case against Obama and Biden officials in the Russia gate
hoax. There is reportedly A200 page
audit showing that the Intel community's assessment on Russia
ordered by Obama after the 2016 election made it seem like Trump
was beholden to the Kremlin. Former CIA Director John Brennan
may be implicated and the intentof this was to make it look like

(10:57):
Trump conspired with Putin to alter the 2016 election results
and Walls announced he will not be running for president in
2028. Seth Jason, a Voice of America
employee, was indicted for threatening to kidnap and kill
Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green.
