(00:08):
Hey everyone, I'm back with another update.
In this episode, I'll cover the Epstein files, Russiagate,
Jerome Powell, tariff talk, illegal immigration related
news, department news, nominations, the 2026 election,
and Trump news. Of course, I'll end with the
noteworthy tidbits, starting with updates on the Epstein
files. Attorney General Pam Bondi
ordered the Department of Justice to immediately get in
(00:30):
contact with Elaine Maxwell about anyone who has committed
crimes against victims, and Maxwell's attorney has confirmed
they are in discussions with theDOJ on her testifying.
Bondi explained that until now, no administration on behalf of
the department had inquired about her willingness to meet
with the government. That changes now.
The House Oversight Committee approved Congressman Tim
(00:50):
Burchett's motion to subpoena Maxwell, and since Maxwell is in
federal prison, the committee had to work with the DOJ and
Bureau of Prisons to determine adate when the committee can
depose her. House Oversight Chairman James
Comer pinned down a date and subpoenaed Maxwell for an August
11th deposition that will take place at the Federal
Correctional Institution, Tallahassee.
The House committee voted to subpoena Bill and Hillary
(01:12):
Clinton, and James Comedy, Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder,
Merrick Garland, Robert Mueller, and others are also on the
subpoena list. Deputy Attorney General Todd
Blanche met with Maxwell and will continue their interview
today, with Blanche saying the DOJ will share what they learned
in the interviews at the appropriate time.
President Trump said he hopes the court releases the Epstein
grand jury files, But unfortunately, there have been
(01:34):
some roadblocks with that. A federal judge in Florida has
denied the DOJ's request to unseal the Epstein grand jury
files, and the US District Courtfor the Southern District of New
York said that to unseal the Epstein grand jury files, Bondi
needs to give specifics on what she wants unsealed and provide
statements from the victims who would be impacted by the
release. Senate Democrats objected to
approving a resolution that called for all available Epstein
(01:57):
files to be released, and the Wall Street Journal is reporting
about a birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein from Bill
Clinton. Lastly, Roy Black, 1 of
Epstein's former lawyers, died at the age of 80 in his home in
Florida after battling an illness.
On to Russiagate. President Trump claims that
Barack Obama is guilty of treason, saying that Obama is
the leader of the Russia Collusion hoax and that they
(02:17):
rigged the 2016 and 2020 elections.
Obama's office responded by saying Trump's claims are
ridiculous and a weak attempt atdistraction, to which Director
of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard responded.
He's just trying to deflect awayfrom what actually happened.
Led by President Obama, there was an effort to create a
document that would serve as a foundation for what would be a
years long coup against President Trump.
(02:39):
Gabbard released more declassified files showing the
Obama intelligence community didnot have any proof that Russian
President Putin wanted to help elect Trump in 2016, but
published intelligence suggesting otherwise.
And at the request of Obama, Gabbard explained, they
disobeyed traditional tradecraftintelligence community standards
and withheld the truth from the American people.
(02:59):
In doing so, they conspired to subvert the will of the American
people who elected Donald Trump in that election in November
2016. They worked with their partners
in the media to promote this lie, ultimately to undermine
legitimacy of President Trump and launching what would be a
years long coup against him and his administration.
Press Secretary Caroline Levitt pointed out that any journalist
who won a Pulitzer Prize for reporting on the Trump Russia
(03:21):
2016 hoax should have that reward revoked.
The latest report released showsthat Obama and CIA Director John
Brennan doctored evidence to make it look like Trump's and
Putin's stole the 2016 election. And when asked by a reporter if
she will be referring Obama to the DOJ for criminal
implications, Gabbard said correct.
Many are calling for the arrest of Obama, and Obama official
(03:42):
James Clapper has reportedly hired a lawyer out of concern of
being arrested and prosecuted for being involved in all of
this. Let's switch to the Jerome
Powell drama. Treasury Secretary Scott Besant
called for an internal review, explaining the Federal Reserve
Board expenses since 2004 are upfour times.
They just print money and spend it.
Rumors about Federal Reserve Chairman Powell resigning
(04:03):
persist, and President Trump continues to call on Powell to
lower the interest rates, sayingwe should be at 1%, we should be
leading the world. Instead, we're paying 4%.
That's over $1 trillion in interest we have to pay.
Powell has been sued for claims of violating transparency laws
and is accused of purposefully keeping interest rates high to
undermine Trump's agenda. The suit seeks to block next
(04:25):
week's Fed meeting from occurring behind closed doors.
Trump toured the Federal Reserve's headquarters
renovation site, accompanied by Powell, senators Tim Scott and
Thom Tillis, Office of Management and Budget director
Russ Fought and Federal Housing Finance Agency director Bill
Pulte. No mismanagement of funds was
found, but Trump hinted a few times that he thought the
renovation could be done at a lower price if more experienced
(04:46):
people were involved. Shifting to tariffs, we've seen
more trade deal victories recently with President Trump
and his team securing 0% tariffson American goods going into the
Philippines, while we charged their products 19%, which is the
same deal that was recently madewith Indonesia.
Japan will be investing half a trillion dollars into the US,
which will result in hundreds ofthousands of new jobs in the
(05:07):
United States. Products from Japan will be
tariffed at 15% and they'll finally open their market to
American vehicles, rice and more.
Australia moved to cut its restrictions on beef imports
from the United States followingpressure from President Trump
and Secretary Besant said the USis taking in massive amounts of
tariff income and that we had the 1st June budget surplus
since 2015 last month. Moving on to illegal immigration
(05:31):
related news, California is suing the Trump administration
because billions of dollars in taxpayer funded benefits were
blocked from going to illegal aliens.
And Democrat lawyer Mark Elias lost a bid to prevent Wyoming
from requiring proof of US citizenship and state residency
in order to register to vote. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis
said illegals at Alligator Alcatraz are complaining that
their ham sandwiches aren't toasted, but he assured everyone
(05:53):
that those being held at the facility are fed the exact same
meals as the staff. Florida officials are reporting
that they're rounding up illegals to be detained so
quickly that they're about to exceed the federal government's
housing capacity, so they need to find a way to expand.
The city of Louisville, KY, ended all sanctuary city
policies after a warning from the Trump administration, and a
Court of Appeals overturned a New Jersey Democrat sanctuary
(06:14):
law that protected illegal aliens from being detained by
the Trump administration. ICE arrests in Wyoming and
Colorado have increased fivefold, and arrests in San
Diego have increased by 400%. The person seen throwing rocks
at federal officers during immigration enforcement in Los
Angeles has been arrested, and the Trump administration has
launched A discrimination investigation into universities
(06:35):
for giving free tuition to illegal aliens.
These universities are the University of Louisville,
Nebraska, Omaha, Miami, Michigan, and Western Michigan
University, and they're being investigated for national origin
discrimination, a violation of Title 6 and the Civil Rights Act
of 1964. Senator Ted Cruz introduced
legislation to give prosecutors the ability to go after the
(06:56):
people who fund pro illegal immigration protests and the
Trump administration has now located over 13,000
unaccompanied children that had been lost by the Biden
administration after they came across the border.
It's been discovered that the Biden administration set up a
hotline for unaccompanied migrant children to report
safety issues with sponsors, butabout 65,000 calls went
unanswered because only one person was reportedly assigned
(07:18):
to take those calls. Vice President Vance said the
pace of deportations will increase and in 2025 we will
have the first net negative immigration number in about 50
or 60 years. Switching to department news,
there were some developments related to the Make America
Healthy Again movement with Health and Human Services
Secretary RFK Junior working to remove the mercury based
(07:38):
preservative thimerosal from allflu vaccines distributed in the
United States. Kennedy explained injecting any
amount of mercury into children when safe mercury free
alternatives exist defies commonsense and public health
responsibility. Today we put safety first.
The Consumer Brands Association pledged to remove all artificial
food dyes from their products by2027, and this includes
(08:01):
Coca-Cola, Amazon, and Target. President Trump removed 25% of
the IRS workforce, which is about 26,000 agents and staff.
And the US Supreme Court approved Trump's firing of three
people on the Consumer Product Safety Commission after a
federal judge tried to rehire them.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio launched an investigation into
Harvard's use of international visas, citing national security
(08:24):
concerns. And Columbia University caved to
the Trump administration, agreeing to pay a $200 million
fine and pledging to stop race based hiring and admissions.
Let's move on to nominations. Despite calls to cancel their
August recess, the US House canceled their Thursday votes
and went into recess. However, some are reporting that
the House may return early so that they can confirm President
(08:45):
Trump's judicial nominees. Over a dozen federal judicial
nominees need to be confirmed, and Trump has over 260 nominees
that have not yet been confirmedby the Senate.
Some liberal judges are taking advantage of this, with judges
in New Jersey trying to kick outUS Attorney Alina Haba, who has
not been confirmed. In response to this, Bondi fired
Haba's replacement, announcing the first assistant United
(09:07):
States Attorney in New Jersey has been removed.
This Department of Justice does not tolerate rogue judges,
especially when they threaten the president score Article 2
powers, Blanch said. Pursuant to the President's
authority, we have removed that deputy effective immediately.
This backroom vote will not override the authority of the
Chief executive. A little progress has been made
(09:27):
with nominations, however, with the US Senate passing the final
procedural vote to approve Emil Bove for the Third Circuit Court
of Appeals. A paid protester disrupted the
confirmation hearing for Janine Piro, who is Trump's pick for US
Attorney for DC. Senator Mike Lee suggested these
protesters are part of the groupFree DC, explaining we have now
had our 4th and 5th free DC protester outbursts.
(09:49):
Not sure who is paying these protesters, but that money is
going to waste. Despite the protests, Piro was
approved by the Senate committee, making her one step
closer to confirmation. Shifting to news related to the
2026 election, former Democrat Governor Roy Cooper is running
for the US Senate in North Carolina, seeking to replace
Thom Tillis, and Trump endorsed.RNC Chair Michael Watley is
(10:12):
running for that same position. There were reports that Lara
Trump is considering running forthis position as well, but she
has announced that she has chosen not to seek that position
since President Trump has endorsed Michael Watley for his
Senate bid. Trump also endorsed Joe Gruders
as Watley's replacement to serveas RNC chairman.
Republican Doug Mastriano indicated he is running for the
(10:33):
governor of Pennsylvania, and Democrat Wisconsin Governor Tony
Evers declined to run for re election.
President Trump endorsed Ashley Moody, a Ron De Santis
appointee, in the 2026 Florida U.S.
Senate race, and he endorsed Mike Rogers for Michigan U.S.
Senate. Redistricting before the 2026
midterms has been a topic of discussion for several states,
the most recent of which being Florida, Governor De Santis
(10:56):
explained. I think there's ample
justification to do it. My guys are going through the
court's opinion to look at different avenues, but I think
that that's definitely somethingthat I certainly would look
favorably upon. De Santis is also calling on the
United States to redo the censusand give Florida and Texas each
one more seat. On a related note, Democratic
Representative Yvette Clark out of New York admitted she uses
(11:18):
illegal aliens to cheat elections when she complained
about needing more migrants in her district for redistricting
purposes. Let's switch to some updates
regarding Anthony Fauci. Senator Rand Paul called on
Bondi and the DOJ to charge Anthony Fauci with a felony for
lying to Congress. And in Paul's words, then the
courts can decide if the pardon stands.
Senator Paul explained the person who was running the
(11:41):
autopen, I think they have testimony saying he never talked
to the president. I think there were thousands of
pardons coming off of it. And Paul said regarding Fauci, I
questioned him on funding the research in Wuhan, and he
adamantly, repeatedly and repeatedly said, I never funded
research ever in China. It turns out that we have a
letter from the group that was funneling the money they were
(12:03):
getting NIH grants going to China.
On to Trump news. President Trump withdrew the
United States from the United Nations Educational, Scientific
and Cultural Organization over its DEI policies and pro China,
pro Palestine bias. According to the New York Post,
Trump won his 60 Minutes lawsuit, securing a grand total
of $36 million. In response to this one, Trump
(12:25):
said that mainstream media liarsare on notice that the days of
them being allowed to deceive the American people are over.
According to the Daily Signal, President Trump is about to send
a second recession package to slash Department of Education
funding and Trump approved 10s of millions of dollars for
disaster recovery in Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia, and
Michigan. Trump signed 3 executive orders
(12:47):
to fast track federal permitting, reviews and
construction of all major AI infrastructure projects.
And he signed an executive orderthat pushes cities and local
governments to remove homeless people from the streets.
Federal funds will be redirectedto ensure these people are
transferred to rehabilitation and treatment centers.
Trump signed the $9 billion budget cuts into law and he said
(13:08):
he is not taking away Elon Musk's subsidies or contracts,
explaining I want Elon and all businesses within our country to
thrive. The better they do, the better
the USA does and that's good forall of us.
Trump called for the abolishmentof income tax and Fox reported
that 96% of self identified megaRepublicans approve of President
Trump and among all Republicans,88% approve.
(13:31):

Opera House. French President Emmanuel Macron
is suing Candace Owens over her claims that Macron's wife was
(14:57):
born male. Reuters reported that Macron
said Owens is running a campaignof global humiliation and
relentless bullying to promote her podcast and expand her
frenzied fan base. Senator Ted Cruz is pushing
legislation that would allow theDOJ to prosecute anyone who
funds rioting. American taxpayer dollars have
been withdrawn from 400 medical facilities in Afghanistan.
(15:18):
I'm not sure why America was funding these facilities in the
1st place considering how many American citizens can't afford
their own medical care. EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin
deregulated the modern gas can that only dribbles gasoline
instead of pouring it. Congresswoman Nancy Mace filed
legislation to permanently defund painful dog and cat
testing at the US National Institutes of Health.
(15:39):
Biden Chief of Staff Ron Klain testified about the scandalous
cover up regarding Biden's health.

reported that he was talkative, cooperative, and did not evade
questions. the US Senate confirms Lieutenant Colonel
Matthew Lohmeyer as Under Secretary of the Air Force 52 to
46. Lohmeyer was previously fired
(16:01):
under the Biden administration for calling out DEI policies in
