DRAMATIC REVEAL.

The podcast has a name... and it isn't what you think it is.

Although it is, because if you are reading this, you SHOULD know what it is already. Heck, you clicked on this and listened/watched it.

THE SHARAM NAMDARIAN PODCAST HAS BEEN RENAMED ONE MORE TIME.

To....

Dramatic pause....

Sharam Namdarian Makes A Podcast.

A riveting podcast by a guy who has way too many ideas.

With the simple goal.

Make a podcast.

Each episode is essentially rebuilt from the ground up.

Maybe it is an interview, maybe it is an audio drama based on one of the many shows I'm writing. Maybe it's something else entirely.

I finally have a name that captures the pure raw essence of the show.

That is a man who just wanted to make a podcast.

A goal that is easily achievable every single episode.

Sharam Namdarian (00:03):
Guess what?
After long hardship, after longhard deliberation, after an
extremely long harddeliberation, we finally have a
premise for this podcast.
Now, if you've been here fromthe start, which I have no
reason to doubt that youwouldn't have been, you will

(00:26):
have seen the dramaticexistential drama that was me
figuring out what the hell thispodcast is.
You were probably here from thestart.
In fact, I don't doubt you werehere from the start, where I
called it the Sharam Namdarianpodcast.
In fact, were you you wereprobably there for the shirtless
era.
Those two episodes that may ormay not have been taken down

(00:50):
where I decided, hey, I'm gonnarecord podcasts shirtless.
I'm going to hold my audienceat hostage until until it became
popular or I broke.
Then after that, I cannotremember what we called it.
What did we call it?
Ah yes.
Of course you were there.

(01:11):
You were, of course, you werethere.
Why wouldn't you have beenthere for the period of time
that we called Sharam NamdarianStarts a Revolution?
Where the premise was that Iwould one day start a revolution
of some kind.
I don't know what kind.
Uh that was potentially part ofit.
But lo, that was not goodenough.

(01:33):
You were probably there.
In fact, I have no reason todoubt, no reason to doubt, that
you weren't there for the periodof time where we so uniquely,
so amazingly, so bravely calledit the Sharam Namdarian Podcast.

(01:54):
A name that no one has everthought of before, not even me,
not even me during my shirtlessera.
But that was not enough.
A container, a vessel for whatthis podcast is meant to be.
We have finally come up with aname, not just a name, a

(02:16):
premise, something, a vesselthat is without limits to
finally capture the essence thatis what this is meant to be.
So this is sort of a re-pilotepisode, a re-invigorating
episode where I explain what thehell this is, what it's gonna

(02:37):
be about, and you can get onboard and be excited.
And if anyone listens to theearlier episodes, if I leave
them up, I probably will becausethere's some good chats with
people in those episodes.
Uh they will be relics.
They will be relics for thosethat came before you, or sorry,
those that came after you.
That you can say, I was there,I was there during the shirtless

(02:59):
Sharum Darien podcast, I wasthere during Sharam Namdarian
starts a revolution, I was thereduring the Sharam Namdarian
podcast, and now mostimportantly, I was there at the
start, the very start of SharamNamdarian Makes a Podcast.

(03:22):
We did it.
We did it.
We finally came up with a nameand a premise that I will stick
to.
I will stick to this one, Iswear.
Alright, so what is SharonNarian makes a podcast?
Basically, after longdeliberation, I know it's been a
while since I've posted it, uhposted an episode.
Uh, I spent a long timethinking about this.

(03:44):
And the reason why none ofthese names stuck was because
all these premises stuck, wasbecause honestly, I didn't like
any of them.
It wasn't exciting, it wasn'tinteresting, it wasn't whatever.
And what is the core of whatI'm trying to do with this?
I'm trying to make a podcast.
I'm trying to make it anepisode.

(04:05):
And every time I came up withan episode, basically I was
trying to rethink the entirething from the ground up.
So why not just come up with avessel where I can do that every
single time, where I justrethink the entire thing from
the ground up every single time, and let's just leave it at
that, basically.
So, what does that mean?
For example, um, if if he givesme the footage, I have a

(04:26):
three-camera podcast interview.
It's a verbal joust basicallyabout neurodiversity uh with uh
and neurotypicalness, like me,uh with uh Josh Spiro, who's a
Sydney comedian.
Fuck.
Oh Sydney comedian.
Um and uh after that, what Iwant to do is I want to

(04:48):
actually, I've been writing a uhTV show.
I've been writing a TV showthat's probably way too big
budget for me to do right now.
So I thought, why not useSharum Darien makes a podcast to
do audio dramas?
So I want to actually do auditbecause I have a series of TV
shows that I want to makebasically of varying degrees of
complexity.

(05:08):
Why can't I just make audiodramas like podcast episodes
based in that universe to sortof enhance my writing process,
but also to sort of get peopleon board on board.
So it's basically a sci-fimercenary show.
I'm not gonna explain anythingmore until I get the first
episode out.
Even when the first episode isout, I'm not gonna explain

(05:29):
anything.
I just want you to experiencethe pure joy and rawness of it.
And um, nerds of varieties willknow, will see influences, and
that's exciting.
Um, there's other shows setinside shopping centres, for
example.
You could be like, What isthis?
The entire show set inside ashopping centre.
Great.
Again, nerds will be like, Oh,I see the influences, I see the

(05:52):
thing.
Who his contemporaries werewere people on the internet,
basically.
Um, so that's this episode.
It's just a little a littlething to basically say the show
has been set as Sharon Darrenmakes a podcast, and I'm pretty
sure we're just gonna stick withthat uh until the heat death of
the universe.
And um you know what's goodabout this episode is is we did

(06:17):
it.
We made a podcast.
Thanks for being a part of it.
