After surviving an ectopic pregnancy, Makenzie faced a life-threatening emergency during her second pregnancy, requiring an emergency C-section at 6 months due to a rare placental disorder. Her preemie survived, but she underwent a hysterectomy.
Amidst these challenges, Makenzie left a troubled marriage and reconnected with an old friend, who is now her loving husband. Together, they’re on a surrogacy journey, with Makenzie’s best friend carrying their child.
