Joey Swole, self-appointed CEO of Gym Positivity, just showed his true colors—and not for the first time. In this follow-up to my viral Threads post about the "No MAGA In My Gym" sign, we unpack the backlash that came exactly as expected. I chose to post it in fitness threads on purpose, and baybeeee… they proved the point for me.

We get into Joey’s performative platform, how he built fame calling out “toxic gym culture” only to police a Black woman’s boundaries in her own space. I’m not here to coddle conservative fragility or explain why safety is not up for debate.

We also start diving into the deeper dynamics: the Asian model minority myth, the MAGA mindset’s lack of empathy, and why I will never let my gym become a rehabilitation center for the very people who vote against my humanity.

💣 This episode is part two. The ignorance in the comments? Oh, we’ll get to that in the next one.

🎧 Tap in for truth, resistance, and liberation through the lens of fitness.
