(00:00):
Here we go. Yeah, we're good. All right, we'll give it a second.
Okay. Well, we're going to record it anyway. Yeah, we're good.
And we're starting here. Good. Hi, guys. Hi. How are you?
It's Joanne, Irusi Fialo, and... Nicole Archeri.
Welcome to our second episode of our Sistars of the Moon.
(00:20):
We're very excited to be here and to do our second episode. We have so much to talk about. out.
So this episode, Nicole and I wanted to delve into spirituality verse or in
connection to religion, right? Yeah.
And kind of some things that came up for both of us.
(00:42):
We had found some questions, some really cool questions that we're going to
kind of answer and give our take on.
And I'm sure there's some stuff you guys are going to totally resonate with
and maybe some things that you've questioned and your path of spirituality.
I know I have in my journey, and we just recently talked about you also having some questions.
(01:02):
I think it's important also, before we delve into some of the questions that
we have, it's important to note that.
I know for Nicole and I both resonate very much in this. We're both Jesus girls.
It's a big deal to us and God and that we're, you know, raised Catholic,
but that's not why I believe in Jesus.
(01:23):
I formed my own connection with Christ through dark nights of the soul,
but that is the space where we're coming from when we do healing work.
So there's no judgment. You can believe in whoever you want to believe in.
You can channel whoever you want to channel. but when we channel for our healings,
we're going to the energy of Christ consciousness.
Is that correct? That is correct. Okay. Yeah. So that's kind of,
(01:46):
again, and this isn't about, it's not a religious thing that we're saying this.
It's just, that's where our faith is. That's where our belief is.
That's who the glory goes to. And that's when we're opening up any type of space
for any work that we do, we're leaning into the Christ consciousness.
That's important to us. Again, anybody who's doing any of this work,
(02:07):
it could be Buddha for them. It could be a goddess and there's no judgment.
It's whatever you feel connected to, just universal energy.
We happen to be Christ girls. We happen to be Jesus girls. So that's just kind
of where we're kind of coming from.
And again, we talked a little bit, Nicole and I, on the first episode about our journey.
(02:28):
And I think we touched a little bit about what we both do. I don't know if we We delved into it.
Nicole obviously talked about herself doing the healing work and stuff.
And you guys know I do Reiki and I'm a reader and I do Akashic Records and a couple of other things.
But the main thing is that we're just looking to help raise the vibration and
(02:49):
the consciousness and help the universe right now because it needs it. That's for sure.
But we've had many, many conversations actually last night, to be quite honest,
about why I, we are where we are, and did we go off? No.
It did. Did it go off? No. The live video ended. Oh. Oh, no.
(03:14):
That's interesting. But we're still going on there. Okay.
So, so little faux pas. So little faux pas. I know. Why would that happen? I don't know.
Why would it cut us off? That's weird. It is. I'm not sure, but I could...
Go live on my page if you want. Yeah. Okay, so we have a little faux pas with Instagram.
(03:37):
So we're going to go live on Nicole's page.
And you'll share that with me and then I could share it. We're going to go live.
Okay, hopefully, maybe, who knows? I don't know. Who knows, people?
Who knows? We don't know. This technology has a mind of its own.
Are we live? Yeah, we're live now. Hi, we're live again on Nicole's page. Yeah.
(04:00):
For some reason, Sistars of the Moon just cut us off on our lives. Within five minutes.
We're going to go on my page and then we'll upload it to Sistars of the Moon
Instagram, but we are still recording.
Yeah. We're not sure what happens, but this is live and this is it.
This is what happens when things are live and we don't know what happens.
So we're not into editing.
We want to be completely transparent and as live as we can be. So here we are.
(04:23):
So again, this is our, Everybody welcome. It's our second episode of Sistars of the Moon.
Nicole and I are so happy to be here. And in this episode, we wanted to touch
on spirituality versus or in conjunction to religion.
And before we got cut off, we were talking about our connection and why this
(04:47):
is an important subject matter for us.
We're both Jesus girls. We're both any of the healing work that we do,
we are delving into the energy of Christ consciousness.
That's important to us. That's where we get our energy from as the conduit, as healers.
It's where we go to. It's where our prayer is.
(05:08):
And again, as I was saying earlier, there's no judgment. If you believe in Buddha
or goddesses or universal light, it's whatever you feel connected to.
We happen to be, we happen to go to source, which is God and to Jesus.
That's where we feel the connection.
So I know when I pray, that's who I'm praying to.
That's why I'm asking for the glory and the guidance and the healing energy.
(05:28):
And of course, all the glory goes to God because that's who we're tapping into asking.
To allow us to do this work. So we've had many conversations and we're both
Jesus girls, but that's just kind of our thing.
And not because we're raised Catholic. I don't feel like it's because I was
raised Catholic, but I formed my own connection with Christ through very dark times of my own soul.
(05:51):
And I think we all have our own spiritual journey and what we come to and what
our faith is and what we believe in. I believe in Buddha. He was an ascended master.
I believe in other ascended masters and I have Buddhist statues.
They're beautiful, but I I pray to Jesus. That is who I pray to.
That is who I go to. And that is the man for me. Yeah.
So we put together some questions and we're just going to kind of go back and
(06:13):
forth and just kind of go from there.
Because we think you guys probably on your own road to your own journey and
spirituality, I'm sure some of these things have come up for you.
And we thought it would be good to share right off the bat about religion versus
spirituality and just dive right in.
And I'm sure there's going to be some stuff here that you guys totally resonate with.
(06:37):
So we have some questions that I'm going to kind of, we're just going to bounce
off each other and give you kind of our little take of, of, of how it happened for us.
So the first one is what sparked your initial interest in spirituality and how
has that evolved for you over time. Yeah. So take it away.
(07:00):
So what first sparked it really for, I mean, probably dribs and drabs a little
bit, like through my youth here and there, like with my mom,
because she was very much into spirituality,
but really didn't start understanding it more until I kind of had my,
kickstart to my spiritual awakening, if you want to call it that.
(07:22):
And like I said, during episode one, like there were these little breadcrumbs,
like one thing kept leading me to the next thing, to the next thing, to the next thing.
And again, like I was raised Catholic, you know,
believed in God, believed in Jesus, wasn't like hardcore, like going to church
(07:43):
every Sunday and, you know, but I definitely would pray to him.
And this felt different. Like, Like, you know, when I was going through that
time, I definitely was praying a lot. Like, what the hell, what's going on?
Like, I don't understand. Like, please help me, you know?
And then I was just, it was a hard time to trust that what I was being guided to was,
(08:07):
the right thing, you know, because it was very new,
you know, and all the people that I had been introduced to and like the different
modalities, like I said, like first it was essential oils and then it was Reiki
and then it was learning about astrology.
It was like all these different modalities and just the healing work and the
(08:29):
energy work and all these different things. You start...
Come out, I hate to say, like, come out of the religion part of it,
because I don't know if that's the right way to say it, but you start expanding
into, like, other things, and you start questioning,
like, you just start questioning things about, like, hardcore religious beliefs and things like that.
(08:56):
And so, and these things felt very natural to me. Like, it felt natural to hold crystals.
And it felt natural. Like when my Reiki master and teacher, Carla,
when she would show me what to do and I would do it in the class and the feelings
that I felt, felt natural and familiar and familiar.
(09:18):
And I'm like, it still felt a little uncomfortable because it was still like, it was still new.
I wasn't used to doing it. And, but it felt natural.
It felt real it felt it felt real yeah and so I'm kicking her over here let
me move my legs and so it definitely has evolved over time because your connection gets stronger.
(09:42):
And the more you do it and the more you connect and the more you allow yourself
like the more I started allowing myself and trusting I just feel like it's it
evolved in that way that's just the The trust, really with the trust,
like once you start trusting the information and your sources and like who you're
(10:02):
getting your information from and your intentions, like it just kind of changes everything.
I don't know. Did I answer that question? Yeah. You did? Yeah.
I forgot what the freaking question was.
Oh, my God. Because we could go on and on, people.
Okay. So what sparked your interest in spirituality and evolved over time?
I think same thing for me. I grew up. My mother was very spiritual.
(10:24):
Went to readers all the time. Stop it.
My mother took me to readers all the time and kind of introduced me to it.
I also was in my own energy, would write things down.
I was a writer from a young age, and I was always writing stuff down to ask
(10:46):
God at night before I went to bed.
So I was very fascinated with heaven and angels and all that kind of stuff.
So I think it was very natural for me at a young age, and I think it definitely evolved over time.
I got into it more. My mother took me to readers. I had pivotal different things
that happened spiritually, positive and negative.
But I think that those things are kind of what led me down a road to understand
(11:09):
that there's way more than what's going on here.
And I never felt comfortable in my human body.
And I think that for me was a very pivotal thing that something wasn't right.
My natural state of being was when I was in my upper, in my head.
When I was in spirituality, that felt like my natural state.
My physical state didn't feel natural to me.
(11:31):
So I think that that just, of course, made me journey into being fascinated
by all things spiritual, same thing, different modalities.
And the tarot I learned and Oracle cards, young and astrology and Reiki and
sound healing and mediumship, all those things felt natural to me.
It felt like it was the only job I ever had in my life. And I've had many jobs, people.
(11:56):
It was the only thing I felt that I could do, that felt I had the ability to do.
And I'm very clear and very grateful that God allows me to do the work,
but it was the only thing I felt that I could do, quite honestly,
that I felt connected to.
So I think for me, It's definitely evolved over years, and I'm so grateful for where I'm at.
(12:19):
And I think I'm still learning and growing in my own spirituality.
I don't think I question things the way I used to, but I still question things
once in a while. I'm like, why do I do things?
God, am I going to get in trouble? You know, I still kind of question things,
but I've leaned into knowing that my intention is pure, my intention is in the
right space, and I just want to help people and do good in the world.
(12:40):
And I'm leaning into that with God's guidance and trust of Christ.
So that's, I think for me, you know, what evolved for me over time.
Hold on. We got some good questions, people. All right. And Instagram is just
not, must not be liking our content today. I don't know what's going on.
Yeah. It keeps shutting off our video, which is interesting. Crazy.
(13:02):
Somebody doesn't like us. And I got all dressed up today, people,
too, to be on video today. Well, you know what?
They're going to have to, they got a little blip of it. So now they're going
to have to listen to the rest. I mean, so crazy. I know. Okay.
So, well, this is a good one, too. Can you describe a pivotal moment or experience
that significantly impacted your spiritual beliefs?
(13:22):
You go first on that one. Okay. Can I describe it a little? Okay.
You know, I can't even, to be honest, I don't think there's one for me because
I feel like I was pretty spiritual from a young age.
It was almost like a natural thing for me.
And I'm not trying to sound arrogant
saying that. I just feel like I was naturally drawn to it. I just was.
(13:43):
Like I said, I'd be sitting writing at night, I'd be like, I'd write 10 questions
I had for God before I went to sleep. It just was my natural state of being.
So I feel that it's always been there.
But I can say a very pivotal point for me was my divorce and grief.
Grief was a really pivotal point for me that really had to force me to lean
(14:08):
completely into faith and trust.
Because I lost my faith for a little while, quite honestly, I was really angry
at God when I was going through my divorce and I was, I believed in God, but I was mad.
And I, I had to come back from that.
And I was telling Nicole, I
had some pretty significant dreams of Jesus that I think brought me back.
(14:29):
And, and so that was a pivotal moment for me, even though I've always kind of
been there, my divorce and grief were a very pivotal moment for me.
So for you, same question, what can you say, or can you describe a moment or
or experience that's impacted your spiritual beliefs?
There's probably been a lot of them, to be honest. I can't think of just one.
It's hard to pinpoint one. Right. It is hard to pinpoint one because it is true.
(14:53):
When you're in that moment, even the dark moments,
and you ask and you are praying and you ask and then you get that validation
or you get that answer and it just fills your heart. And I mean,
I cried every single time.
You know, because it just, it does, it like fills your heart when you're just
(15:15):
so low and you're like, please, like, just tell me what to do.
Like, am I doing the right thing? Am I going down the right path? Is this right for me?
And then you just kind of like let go in that moment and then you're shown love.
Yeah. Whether it's, and I do believe like God and Jesus, they do show themselves
(15:36):
through many different facets, like, you know, your friends, strangers,
signs, numbers, animal.
Like I do believe like they can just, there's so many different ways that they
show you signs from like spirit.
And it just, every time I would ask, it wasn't necessarily like in that exact
(15:59):
moment, but the answer always came, like the validation always came.
And I was like, oh my gosh, I don't know. So every one of those,
like, like you can't just pick one.
Like I don't have one specific one that like really stood out.
You have many, like I feel I did too, different things that kind of.
Different times in your life, like, because there's been so many major things
(16:21):
that I'm sure have happened in our lives that you can't just pick one. Absolutely.
So this is a good one too. Let's see.
How do you define spirituality and how does it differ from religion for you? Okay. Well, that's it.
All right, guys. So that's kind of a real broad.
So sort of religion versus spirituality, right?
So I, okay, for me, I'm going to say I am religious in the sense that I believe
(16:49):
in God and I believe in Jesus and I believe in the the holiness of heaven.
I believe in angels. I believe in the graciousness of God.
I believe in the New Testament and the stories about Jesus.
I do not faithfully go to church. That's a very honest answer.
I feel more faithful. I did go to church.
(17:11):
After I got divorced, I went for two years faithfully because I was so grief-stricken.
And I feel more connected now than I did going to church because when I went
to church, there was a lot of...
There was a lot of condemnation, which I didn't resonate with in the energy
of Christ, because Christ to me is the energy of pure love and unconditional love.
(17:34):
So there's nothing about Jesus that ever stood in any type of judgment.
So I had a problem. Church, I really fought that.
And they talked, quite honestly, Nicole and I talked about this.
They talked about the devil all the time.
I went home more afraid of the devil than I ever was in my life when I went
to church. All they talked about was the enemy.
So I went home, instead of being empowered with God, I went home in fear of the devil.
(17:57):
So to me, that was a very skewed message.
So I had to find my own power in Christ because going to church was actually scaring me more.
So, and I'm not saying that's for everybody. I'm just saying that was my experience.
So the spiritual part of things where I feel God is in my heart and Jesus is
in my heart and I could talk to Jesus anywhere. Those are all facts.
(18:19):
Those are all true facts. Your connection to Christ is within your DNA.
God's DNA is within our own DNA. It's within all of us.
We don't have to go to church to be faithful and to be connected to Jesus Christ.
I'm not saying you shouldn't go to church. You do whatever feels right to your
spirit, but our love and our connection to God is within us.
(18:41):
It lies within our own codes, within our own DNA.
So I think that it's a very, very, there's a lot of blurred lines,
I think, between religion and spirituality.
Nicole and I have had many conversations just last night about the Bible and what it's against.
(19:02):
It's against some things in spirituality, things that I do, which is very contradictory because.
Prophets were mediums. They used all their clairs, clairaudient,
clairsentient, clairvoyant.
They used all that energy to channel visions, and they were seers.
So back then, they called them seers.
(19:24):
They were mediums. So it says in the Bible, don't talk to mediums,
don't do any of that kind of stuff, but that's exactly what they all were. are.
If Mary wasn't carrying Jesus in her womb and an angel came to her and just
gave her another message, they would have condemned her as a witch.
But because she said an angel came to her and was carrying the son of God, that was okay.
(19:50):
I want you to really lean into what I'm saying about that.
If an angel or another energy came to someone else, she would have been condemned
as a witch. church. So there's a lot of blurred lines in the Bible.
There's a lot of truth to it. I resonate completely with the Jesus stuff in the New Testament.
So I don't think you have to go to church to love God or to love Jesus or to
(20:13):
believe very much in the energy of heaven and the energy of the holiness of Christ.
So it's really to each his own.
And I think you have to find your own comfort level, and you have to find your
own space within you that feels right.
As long as at the end of the day, you feel good about what you're doing,
you resonate with what you're doing, you're not harming anybody,
(20:33):
your intention is in the right place, and your glory goes to who you believe in.
And again, we're not here to judge. If you believe in Buddha,
that's beautiful. Buddha was an ascended master.
Of course, he was a powerful energy also and an energy of love and light.
We just happen to feel very connected to the energy of Christ consciousness,
(20:54):
but it's, it's whatever resonates with you. And I think that unfortunately.
The judgment that Catholicism or any religion really, I think there's a lot of judgment in that.
And to me, to me, this is my personal belief.
Jesus loved everybody. It didn't matter.
(21:15):
There was no such thing if you were gay or if you weren't. God didn't,
Jesus didn't care about that.
He loved, he healed the sick and the liars and the women that were,
were considered whores back then, he healed all the people, the murderers and the robbers.
He healed the people that need to be healed. He wasn't like,
oh, no, sorry, you're like a dirty robber. I can't heal you.
(21:36):
That was his message was unconditional love.
So to me, he is all about unconditional love.
So when the church sometimes speaks about things, I feel like it's like,
well, that doesn't feel right to me because God was all about unconditional love.
You're saying that this is a sin. That doesn't resonate with me because God
doesn't want any of his children to suffer or to be judged.
(21:58):
So that's my own personal feeling. So we could probably go on and on for days
about this. Yeah. What do you think? I forgot the question.
Because I went on and on, people. That's why. I'm listening to you talk and
I'm thinking, I'm like, what was the question? How do we define spirituality
and how is it different from religion to you?
Yeah. So religion, like you touched on, I feel like you said it all.
(22:21):
Like religion is so i and i
just think like hardcore and i just
i don't like and i don't agree
with what like the catholic religion specifically that's really the only one
i know i just feel like like you said i don't know i just feel like they're
making it more about a lot of other things aside from the real message right
(22:44):
aside from the real message and i mean i don't know if anybody has watched The Chosen,
but that is probably one of the best shows that there possibly is on television.
And even just watching it, you have all the priests back then and.
They're not really giving the message that God intended, you know?
(23:06):
And then Jesus comes and he's like, you're doing it wrong. Exactly.
You know what I mean? Exactly. And listen, again, like there's no judgment.
He wasn't judging them. Certainly not.
But it could be very, it could be misinterpreted.
And so I feel like religion is much more like that solid red line.
(23:27):
Whereas spirituality okay so this
is interesting last night i was thinking about this after our conversation because
i had like a little bit of a breakdown last night about a couple things which
maybe we'll get into later but i imagined it to be like our father yeah taking
us to the mall and he knows i love to shop so we're going to use that analogy
(23:49):
so what does your dad do like when
they bring their kid to the mall, they let their kid go from store to store.
They kind of wait outside.
When the kid's done in that store, you go back to your father,
you walk, he lets you go into the next store.
So I feel like spirituality is kind of like the same thing. Like I know who my connection is to.
I know who my father is.
(24:12):
And I feel like he allows me to like go into a store and check out and see what
they have. And then I'm always coming back to him.
I'm not, you know what I mean? And so I feel like spirituality is kind of like the same thing.
Like you're learning about all the different things and experiencing,
you know, all these different little things that kind of, you know,
(24:36):
are outside of that red line or that one store.
You know what I mean? Like it's about a little different.
It's a good analogy. It's about a lot of different things. Yeah, that's a good analogy.
Okay. One more goodies here. Okay.
What practices or rituals do you engage in to nurture your spiritual life?
(24:59):
To nurture my spiritual life. Yeah. Like, what's your ritual or practice for spirituality?
Like, what's your one thing that you definitely do to keep yourself in alignment?
Meditation. And I mean, I'm not even the best at it.
Like, I want to be doing it way more than I do it. Yeah.
But I feel like at least starting the day in, like, some sort of prayer or meditation
(25:22):
is, like, a necessity, especially doing what we're doing.
It's like that check-in, like calling your parent and being like,
hi, I'm just calling a check-in. Like, this is what I'm doing.
You know what I mean? Like, is everything good? Just quieting down and like
just letting whatever healing for you to come through and whatever messages they have for you.
(25:45):
You know, I just feel like that's the, that is a necessity.
I agree with that. A ritual, that's a necessity. Yeah.
I'm prayer, big prayer girl. So I agree. I should meditate more too.
I have a hard time meditating unless I, the only way I can meditate is if I,
if I lay down and I put myself in a movie, like I pretend I'm in a movie in
(26:07):
my own mind and I go through the movie, then I could go and meditate.
I can go off to where I need to go, which is how it works for me.
Prayer is a big one for me. That's my ritual big time.
And I got a little away from it and it wasn't good.
So making sure that I'm back on that. But you could do meditating like in the
garden or you could do it making your bracelet. I feel like I do that. Yeah.
(26:28):
I feel like I'm always kind of in that energy when I'm in creation.
Yes, I do. But prayer is a big one for me. I'm definitely a big prayer girl. Always have been.
And I know for me, this is something that I do every day.
I live alone and I have a cute little cottage and I'm always singing.
So singing is very ritualistic for me and very important to me because I'm a sound healer too.
(26:51):
So singing for for me is something that's part of my ritual and prayer for me. Big one.
That's a big one. Yeah. So those I think are important ritualistic things. Yeah.
It's like hot flash city over here. Yeah, this is what happens when we get older,
girl. Oh, my God, Mia. I'm like, what the heck happened?
Three o'clock came and I'm just like. Oh, this is what happens when you get.
(27:15):
Well, you're not 50 yet, though. No, I'm not. But it happened to me in my early 40s and my late 30s.
Have you faced any challenges or doubts along the way? And how did you navigate them?
OK, let's just talk about last night. Let's talk about last night,
people, because we had a conversation. Because last night was the most recent thing that happened.
But yes, all along this whole entire journey, of course, the doubts have come.
(27:40):
But last night specifically, so this week in particular, I had it come up at
least three times where I was questioning if what I was doing was okay.
Because I was like, oh my God, is it okay what I'm doing? am I going against, you know, my religion?
(28:04):
Exactly. Am I going against that? Am I veering off?
Am I connecting to, I'm like, I was just questioning everything.
What if I shouldn't be doing this?
And then you so kindly reminded me that I definitely, I, so it took me a long
(28:25):
time too, to realize that I actually had a gift.
You know what I mean? And I am an empath and I have, I forget what clarity is.
I'm horrible with remembering those, but I, I have the ability to feel. So the clairsentient.
Clairsentient. Thank you. I have the ability to feel so I could walk into a
room and I can feel the energy of the room. I could be with somebody.
(28:48):
I could feel the energy. I could feel the intention of that person.
I could feel when something is off or whatever. I mean, it took me a long time
and you so kindly reminded me, like, I didn't go out searching for that.
Like, that is something that God gave to me that I was born with and knew that
I was going to use that for the greater good.
Exactly. And so, again, like it wasn't something I kind of went after and chase
(29:13):
after and it was given to me. And so how could I not trust?
And my intentions are always pure. Like I genuinely care about people and I
want people to be happy and I want them to feel good as most of us do.
And so you kind of brought me back last night reminding me of that.
(29:34):
But it's so easy to like, because especially with social media and just with
everything now being so out in this industry. And reading comments.
I hate to call it an industry. I just called it an industry.
I feel like it's become one.
People, it's not supposed to be, but it's become a mainstream thing and it shouldn't be.
This is a chosen thing that is a very sacred oath. I feel that you're given
(30:00):
to become a healer, but that'll be a whole other topic we talk about and how that's changed.
But yes, it's easy to fall into the rabbit hole. But you know what's really
interesting that just hit me as we're talking?
Obviously our intention is in the right place because we're questioning,
am I doing the right thing? If our intention, we wouldn't be like,
well, I'm good. I'm good.
We've all been down that road where we've, you know, Nicole was saying last
(30:21):
night, we were on the phone and she was having a moment like,
am I doing, is this okay okay, what I'm doing, am I going against God?
And I was talking to her about my experience because I had the, I went through it too.
I had an experience where I literally threw all my books, all my car,
I threw everything away.
I was dating someone at the time. I was like hauling stuff out the window.
He's like, what are you? I'm like, I'm throwing it all away.
(30:41):
I got to make sure I'm not going to hell.
I was in this energy of like, I got to read the Bible. I got to make sure I'm
not doing something against God. Like I have to read the Bible.
And I did. And I was like, okay. and a lot of it didn't resonate with me except for the Jesus stuff.
And the stuff that I knew in my soul, the spiritual part of me,
I'm like, this is who I am.
(31:03):
This is what I know intention-wise. But we do question.
There's still days though where
I'm like, you know, am I 100% in alignment with what I should be doing?
You know, am I 100% in my alignment? And then I'm like, I am in my alignment.
Of course I am. My intention is, this is about my intention being pure.
But of course we have to check in. And that's our kind of our higher self to
(31:24):
checking in with our higher self, make sure we're good. Like, am I good?
Am I, you know, am I in alignment still? Am I? I think that's an important part
of being a healer, right?
I hope to God I'd never get so cocky that I would just think that I'm like,
yeah, I'm above it all. And I'm just I'm just I'm always going to check myself.
I think we have to do that. That's normal part of being human also.
(31:46):
Yeah, and that's what I love about having, like, I mean, I'm so great.
I think we're both grateful that we have each other.
Absolutely. And other, you know, we have other people, like,
in our circle who are, like, a support system and the people in our lives that
help and remind us to, like, hey, girl. Yeah, you're good.
You're okay. Yeah, you're good. You know what I mean? But I feel like I went
(32:08):
through a little bit of a period of time, too, where I didn't have that.
And it's, like, you're really questioning. And I mean, listen,
there comes a certain point in time where you have to, like,
not depend on other people to, you know, you have to know.
But it definitely does help, though, when you have some people in those moments.
Yeah. And when you get validation from spirit, you know, you've gotten some
(32:29):
validation recently to that, that I reminded you last night of the comment from the first podcast.
Someone sent a message to Nicole and it was a nice validating message about
our first podcast and something she was speaking about on her. her awakening.
So I said to her, remember, that was spirit.
It was like, hi, that was a validation for her. So we do go through these things.
(32:52):
It's okay. We have to check ourselves.
It's okay to check in and be like, hey, do I feel okay with this?
Because I might move into some other modality and be like, this don't feel right to me.
And I might have to check myself and be like, you know what?
That's not where I need to go. That doesn't feel right to what I'm doing.
So we have to check ourselves.
It's okay to check ourselves and it's okay to lean on each other and check in
(33:12):
with each other and say, Hey, this is how I'm feeling.
You know, you know, do you have anything for me? What do you feel?
Do you, you know, do you have any guidance for me? I think that's why we're
here to help each other in that way.
So I think it's important that we check in with ourselves, especially.
So I think we're totally in agreement with that. What else do we got here? Okay.
In what What ways do your spiritual beliefs influence your daily decisions and interactions?
(33:40):
With everything people. We're always questioning everything with spirituality. So, okay.
So always your spiritual beliefs influence your daily decisions and interactions.
I mean, I think for being empaths, I think that I feel like we're always thinking about spiritual.
I just feel like when you do this kind of work, you're always in that kind of
energy of like spirituality.
(34:00):
So I think in our daily lives, I know for me, I feel like my daily decisions are based on intuition.
And I try to lean into my intuition on that. I try to lean into the trust in
God and whatever messages come through.
I get a lot of messages in my dreams. I also get a lot of messages,
ironically, when I'm doing readings for other people.
They'll sneak some in and I'll be like, oh, funny. Ha ha. That's for me.
(34:24):
So I feel like I'm trusting them on a daily basis and intuition to kind of lean
into, you know, if I have to make a decision on using my gut and trusting and what feels right.
I think that's really important. Yeah, no, that's 100%. Yes.
And I mean, we deal with people all day, even like my nine to five job,
(34:46):
like I'm constantly dealing with other people.
And so my patience is challenged.
And so, you know, I'm praying to God being like, please, like, but it's true.
Like when you pray for patience, he's not just going to give you patience.
He's going to give you the situations that help Help you build your patience.
You know, so we do ask for all of these things, patience and peace and love.
(35:10):
And he gives us all these situations like during the day and these opportunities for us to do that.
So that's what I feel anyway and how it affects your day-to-day life. Absolutely.
So we're kind of, I think every day we're in the moment of it,
you know, of connecting. I don't think there's ever been a day where I haven't.
(35:30):
No, me neither. like i can't even imagine not like
not like being like good morning god like thank you
for waking me up today like that's
because we're doing our rituals too right but i just
i'm saying like i can't even imagine i can't even think of a day where i didn't
at least say hi good morning something well that's beautiful though okay so
(35:52):
i don't know if we're gonna get to mall but yeah we have time to do where are
we in time we're good we are at let me see we are at 37 seven minutes. Oh, good.
How do you incorporate spirituality into your relationships and the community?
Well, I mean, we're incorporating it in the people that we serve, for sure.
(36:13):
I think it's a, I don't know if slippery slope is the right word to,
right phrase to use, but like, you know, not everybody that comes to you believes
in the same things. Absolutely.
So I feel like, you know.
As long as you're explaining your intention and what you're there to do, that's like one thing.
(36:34):
What was the first part of the question? How do you incorporate spirituality
into your relationships and community?
Well, I think what we do for a living. So any of the healing work we do,
we're doing it for the community.
Right, right. So that's for our clients and the community because we're trying
to raise the vibration and consciousness. We want to help heal people.
Right. In our personal relationships, I think that that's where I think the
(36:55):
spiritual part is, I think, so beneficial,
but also could be tricky because sometimes we could have friendships or partnerships
and it doesn't mean they're not spiritual, but we're on different vibrations.
Yeah. So that's a tough thing to vibe, to navigate around to that.
The vibrations of, you know, like just as an example, for me,
(37:16):
I have certain friends that I feel are more kind of into this stuff than others. Right.
So I feel like it's, there's a different kind of, you know, you sort of have
to flex yourself and mold yourself sort of in different ways and different relationships,
whether it's a friendship, a marriage, a boyfriend, a girlfriend, children.
Your mother, your father, your coworkers.
(37:37):
I think we have to sort of bend our and adapt.
I think we have to adapt kind of for that.
And it's tough too with the relationships, like, because whatever,
10, 15, 20 years ago, we weren't, you know, I feel like as you go through it
longer, it's harder to be in the presence of people who are not.
(37:59):
A thousand percent aligned and in the same vibration. Right, right.
Because I mean, I could tell you like the people that I hang out with on a regular
basis, we all kind of are this like minded in some way, you know what I mean?
And so I do find it sometimes a little more difficult to spend long periods
of time with people who are not. Yes.
(38:21):
I mean, I could still do it and it's fine, but.
It's harder as more time goes on. Because you want to be in your tribe.
You want to feel like you're in your tribe and you connect to that in those relationships.
Because as you get older, the more you kind of feel more open to things too.
Like you don't have time for petty things anymore. No, I don't have time for
(38:42):
bullshit. I don't have time for drama and pettiness. I watched The Cursing this time.
People were good though, right? I told my dad, I was like, I'll watch The Cursing
this time. I know, we were told to watch our mouths with this one by both sides
of our families, so we got to be careful. Yeah, I don't have that same tolerance
for like nonsense and shit stuff.
And life is too short to me. I just feel like if I love you,
I love you. And we love each other. And that should be the main thing.
(39:05):
And the other stuff needs to fall away because it's not important at the end
of the day. So I agree. What else we got here?
Oh, what role does nature or the environment play in your spiritual practices?
Offices. I don't know what I would do without mother nature or the sun.
(39:27):
I mean, the sun is the grass and the trees. And I mean, it's everything.
I think we connect to that too as healers. I think that I think our environment
plays a big, I know for me, my environment, like my home has to feel very sanctuary ish for me.
Like I have to have light. I'm a big one on light. I got to have a lot of light.
(39:48):
I need windows. I need light.
I need a lot of greenery around me. I need all that kind of water.
I need all the elements. Yeah, we need the elements.
Some people don't, but we need the elements, right? Because we're made up of them.
So I think our everyday life, and I think as healers, that those are the things that we draw from too.
(40:08):
We draw from all the elements in nature.
I think it plays a big part in probably all healers' healers practices,
you know, not just us. I think for all the healers, it plays a big part in it.
Because like you said, where would we be without nature? Nowhere.
Okay, you ready for this one?
How do you find balance between your spiritual beliefs and the demands of your everyday life, Nicole?
(40:31):
It's a hard balance. It is. And that's probably where people get disconnected
and unbalanced because too much of anything is never good.
So even you could be the most spiritual person, And yes, we are a spiritual
being in like a human body, a human experience. It's not the other way around.
(40:55):
But if you're spending too much time, you're disconnecting from your humanity
and your human self, which is the point. So there has to be some kind of balance.
And you know it too. Like if you're too far up there, you're not going to feel good either.
Absolutely. Right. So there needs to be a balance. And so, yes,
you can spend time doing healings and having spiritual conversations and in ritual or in prayer,
(41:20):
but you have to remember also to decompress and be human and find joy.
And watch Netflix. Right, watch Netflix. And for a couple hours and just veg out. Right.
Like you got to do it. Have a freaking cheeseburger. Exactly. Or a piece of chocolate.
Because we are here and we have to be human and we have to live in this dimension.
So we have to also...
(41:43):
Decompress in a human way. And that's okay. We're supposed to do that.
Like you said, we can't be too high up.
I feel like a lot of times I'm too up there and I'm always thinking about like spirit and things.
Sometimes I'm like, oh my God, I need to like, and I will do that.
I'll just put on a show because I have to like, I got to get out of my head and just ground.
We need to ground. That's really, we have to ground. So that's like super important
(42:08):
to find find balance in our lives between being human and creating that spiritual
connection and responsibility and devotion.
Because being spiritual, you are in the energy of connection and devotion, I think, right?
(42:28):
Yeah. And this is like a total physical realm, like everything.
And we have to be able to be in the physical and the spiritual and try to delve
into everything half and half.
And sometimes you're going to be more than the other, of course,
depending on what you're doing. But it is important, like you said,
to find balance or you'll get sick.
And you could get sick physically, spiritually, mentally, or emotionally. No one's immune to that.
(42:52):
Nobody's immune to it, unfortunately. So I know one of my prayers every day
is I literally say to God every day, God, please heal me spiritually,
physically, mentally, and emotionally every day.
I say it. It's a big part of my ritual every day.
So it is important to keep our balance.
Okay, what do we got? Can you share a lesson you've learned through your spiritual
(43:13):
journey that you wish others knew?
Hmm. Oh, my God. I feel like there's so many to that one. I'm like trying to think of a good one.
Can you share a lesson you've learned through your spiritual journey that you wish others knew?
To trust yourself sooner. It's a good one. Because I never did.
And I was always looking to the outside for other people to validate right through
(43:36):
other healings or readers or this, that, the other thing.
And it's like, girl, you already got all the answers you need.
And a lot of times if you just sit and you really just put it out there,
the answers, you already know what the answers are going to be.
But there's that like instant gratification part too. And like the part where
we don't trust ourselves, where we have to always go to the outside for validation.
(44:01):
And I wish, I will, I wouldn't change it, but if I had a lesson to share,
it would be to trust yourself sooner.
Perfect. Like now, wherever you are in your life, just trust yourself.
Right. That's a good one.
I'm trying to think for me. I mean, there's so many.
I think what I've learned, there's just so many. I think something beautiful
(44:23):
that I've learned about healing is that I think most people.
People, male or female, that go into healing is because they need to be healed
and they know what it is to have some sort of brokenness in them.
So they want to heal other people because that deep feeling of never wanting
(44:47):
anybody to feel the way they felt.
And I think what I've seen in my own life that I think is a beautiful,
magical gift is that as you give out healing, it comes back to you.
And that's the magic of healing is that the gift of giving out comes back.
And it's an exchange, a beautiful exchange of energy that as you give it out, it comes back to you.
(45:10):
I think also too, like you said, trusting yourself and knowing that you are
loved and that you are so loved on the other side.
And so you are being guided and you are being protected.
And it's really scary when you are alone and you don't know those things and
(45:31):
you don't have anybody to tell you those things and that you will be okay.
You know, at the, at the end of your journey, that you will be okay and things
will come to pass and lessons will be learned.
And hopefully along the way, you'll find safety and energy and people to help you with that.
I think, I think too, a beautiful, a beautiful thing is to, and I wish I had
(45:55):
known this so much younger.
Is to really listen, really listen,
you know, listen to people when they talk to you, listen to your own thoughts
and to yourself and, you know, ignore the, try to ignore the negative chatter
and listen to the beautiful chatter, the good stuff.
(46:18):
Try to really dim the negative stuff because that's the stuff that I think can
get in our way and that causes a lot of problems for a lot of us when we're young people.
And, you know, if you don't grow up in an environment that's filled with safety
and protection and love and guidance and all that,
it's very easy for that chatter to take you over and then, you know,
(46:41):
all those other things develop anxiety and whatever else there is,
you know, so, which again, that's a whole other subject we'll be touching on.
But yeah, it's, there's, there's quite a few different things that would definitely
been helpful, I think, to know early on.
And the last question is, how
do you envision your spiritual journey evolving in the future? Oh, God.
(47:04):
To just keep— Big one. Yeah, I mean, I— What do you see yourself in a year?
Oh, God. I never could answer those questions. Good. It's a tough one.
Because it's like, I don't know.
I really don't know because I change my mind like the wind changes.
You know, obviously, I would love to be doing more healing work than I'm doing now.
(47:25):
Yeah, okay. So, perfect. You know, just more healing work and just being more
authentic of who I am and, you know, living the life that I want to live for me.
Manifesting what you want to manifest for your happiness. Really stepping into
who I am and sharing that with more people, whether they like it or not. Good. You know.
(47:47):
That's good. What about you? What about me? Where do I see myself in the future?
I certainly see myself happy, happy, joyful,
loving myself more and learning to accept myself more and leaning into that
and overcoming things that I need to overcome in this life that have been very
(48:12):
hard for me since childhood.
I see myself clear of that in a year.
I see our podcast growing completely. Completely. I see our podcast growing
and reaching bigger audiences.
I see my own business, like other projects I'm doing, taking off.
And I think just being where I want to be and teaching more and getting the
(48:35):
word out more and just having more fun moon parties that we have here,
year, having more community.
I see myself having love with a man, people.
I don't need no more animals. You've not attempted to get a kid.
I see just positive, good stuff in the next year.
I'm going to manifest all wonderful things.
(48:59):
And I think that I see the journey is going to just be a really good journey
in the next year. I love that. Yeah. Yeah.
I think we kind of touched on some really cool kind of subjects on spirituality
and religion. Yeah, I mean, we definitely put ourself out there because I've
never really opened up like that, like in front of everybody about that.
(49:20):
And I don't know, for some reason, once you start talking about the big G word
and like, you know, some people are like, oh, I can't listen to that.
You know, it's like it could be a scary thing. It could be an offensive thing.
It could be a touchy subject. I could talk about Jesus all day.
I could be a touching subject for a lot of people. And, you know, people are like, oh.
(49:41):
But I'm glad we chose that as our second episode because I really want to make
sure we put that out there and just kind of get that out of the way.
And other people are struggling with that, too.
I'm sure there's other healers that have crossed their mind,
too, and they want to make sure they're in alignment. You know,
we're not the only ones, obviously.
So we're here to tell you that we're not the only ones. It probably happens, too.
I think it has to happen to you. I think when your intention is in the right
(50:04):
place, you're going to question yourself.
You're going to be like, oh, my God, let me check in and make sure.
Because if you're a good person and your intention is in the right place,
you're going to be like, am I doing the right things? I'm like, I need to do right by God.
So I think all healers probably experience in some way, shape,
or form something similar.
So we just have so many, guys, we've written down so many different topics and
(50:26):
so many great things to talk about.
So thank you for kind of hanging in today on our second episode.
We're excited to do our third in the next two weeks.
We're going to do our third and we're going to hopefully our lives could.
Yeah, I don't know what that's about. Working and we'll have our live up also besides the audio.
And I mean, we're just again, we love you guys. We're so grateful that you're
(50:50):
tuning in and listening.
And as we get rolling, we want your feedback. Yeah.
Please, when we post, guys, comment. If there's like a subject you want us to
talk about or you want to, you know, whatever, just comment.
Tell us what you think. Let us know your thoughts. If you think we're missing
something or you want to hear something, tell us what we need to do and, you know, join in.
(51:14):
And this is a community we're building. So we want to hear your thoughts. We want to share ideas.
And again, Nicole and I have talked about we're going to have people on.
Yes, that's going to be so much fun. Yeah.
So we are going to just have some great stuff and great conversations.
So we love you guys. Thank you so much for hanging with us.
(51:34):
Yes, we love you and thank you. And keep the texts coming too because we love
your feedback. We love your feedback.
Yes. And we want to hear your stories about how it's resonating or if it's not and why.
Yes. Right. We're not going to be offended. We want to hear it all.
Yes. You know, and Nicole, who has three sisters, biological sisters of her
(51:57):
own, they call each other Sistar, which is amazing.
So we decided to call this Sistar of the Moon. So we're building a Sistar community.
So you guys, we want you to be the Sistars. And, you know, we want you guys
to join in and, you know, be part of it. Yes.
I think you're going to throw a card? I'm going to throw a card because we said
we were going to do one at the end. At the end of every episode,
(52:19):
we're going to throw a card.
So you do it again this time and I'll do it next time. We're going to do a card.
Is this the deck I bought because you told me, right?
The Elemental Impact. You had this. I loved it. Yes.
So Nicole had a beautiful deck. I copied her and went and bought it.
So she's going to throw the card for now. Universal Collective Message.
Yes. So this card is, oh, I wish you could see it. It's beautiful. It's mirror.
(52:42):
I love that. It's mirror. And the world is a mirror.
Notice the patterns and clear the blocks. So to me, this is saying like.
What is in the inside is going to be reflecting on the outside.
So how you're feeling on the inside, all of that is going to be reflecting on
the outside. So notice that. Pay attention.
If you feel like you're only around a certain bunch of people that are giving
(53:07):
you shit or if there's a pattern going on around the people that you're with
or you keep experiencing the same situations,
don't just be like, oh, they must have a problem.
I mean, go inside. Check inside first. see because
we are married to each other right what's going on inside you know
what am i doing what am i thinking what kind of intentions am
(53:28):
i setting and then do some energy
work on yourself too do some body scans uh-huh
scan your body kind of sit in silence start at your feet work your way up to
your head see if you feel anything if you notice anything set some intentions
put your everybody knows how to do reiki and i mean i learned that because you
(53:49):
know you don't realize it, but when your stomach hurts, what do you do?
You put your hands on your stomach. When your neck hurts, what do you do?
My mother knows. My mother does things.
She's like, oh, I put my hand here and I'm like, she's just innately doing.
You put your hand wherever there's discomfort you put on your chest when you're
feeling anxious. Exactly.
You rub your head when it hurts. Everybody's doing it. Right.
So use your intuition. Do a body scan. See what it feels like. Clear your own blocks.
(54:11):
And mirror work is really important in the energy of inner child work.
So the mirror also is about what do we need to see in that mirror?
What is it that you're holding in if there's that sadness in there?
There's a lot of inner child stuff and work to do with the mirror.
So it's a very, very potent card too.
(54:34):
And you know what? You got to look in the mirror and sometimes you got to embrace
and love something about yourself and choose that one thing to really see and
work on the rest of that and see what comes up for you. And write it down.
I'm a big one on writing it down. And some people are afraid to look in the
mirror. Yes. You know, I know. Maybe you're not doing, I know.
(54:55):
Maybe you're not really doing what you should be doing. You know what I mean?
And you're scared to look in the mirror and see the truth, but the truth will set you free.
Or you're afraid to look in the mirror. Like, you know, I know from someone
who's got an eating disorder that sometimes you don't want to look in the mirror
too, because Because one minute you look one way, and the next minute you look another way.
So the mirror is, there's a lot of things that go along with the energy of a
(55:18):
mirror, which is very interesting on a physical and a spiritual level.
It's a very interesting card. So take what resonates.
And we'll throw a card after every end of the podcast.
And we are just, we love you guys. Thank you again. Feedback,
feedback, feedback. Let us know your thoughts, guys.
We want to hear it all. We love you. Have a great day. Have a good one. ones. Bye. Bye.
