The chaos surrounding us isn't a reason to stop moving forward—it's our cue to activate our inner compass and remember our power. When conventional maps fail and familiar systems break down, we must learn to navigate with our intuition while staying grounded in discernment.

• Developing discernment is crucial in confusing times—those who think they're "too smart" to be manipulated are often the most vulnerable
• Our current reality feels like driving in an unfamiliar city with broken GPS, non-functioning streetlights, and all radio stations blaring at once
• Intuitive guidance typically comes as simple, specific directions without emotional drama, unlike anxiety which creates elaborate fear-based narratives
• No matter our spiritual advancement, we remain human—spiritual awareness doesn't exempt us from vulnerability or death
• When feeling disconnected from intuition, we may be "benched" because our physical/emotional needs require attention first
• Global connection through shared experiences strengthens our collective resilience against forces trying to divide us
• Taking even one action step can break through stagnation and create movement when feeling spiritually stuck

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Next up on Soul Level , human, the most dangerous
thought is that you are exempt.
You are too smart to fall for acult.
Those are the most susceptiblepeople.
So as long as you know thatit's easy to be manipulated and
it's easy to fall into trapsthat you can't see, then you'll

(00:24):
still have your guard up andyou'll protect your own
discernment with everythingyou've got.
No matter how good of a psychicyou are, how good of a person
you are, how perfectly you live, you will never outrun death.
You will never not be human.
When we're driving in a citywe've never been before we feel

(00:45):
okay because we have a map, wehave our cell phones, we have
the sun, we have ourunderstanding of directions and
how streetlights work becausethey work properly.
But in our world right now ourmaps aren't quite loading.
The streetlights are down.
We've never been here before.
It's very disorienting and ontop of that it feels like all

(01:06):
the radio stations are on atfull blast all the time.
We are fried and it makes senseto just want to pull over and
stop driving, but we're not homeyet, so we have to keep going.
People give their power away soquickly to psychics and mediums
that they go see.
Well, should I call him back?
Should I take this job?
Should I move?

(01:26):
How about see what feels goodfor you?
Because that psychic doesn'thave to go home and live your
life.
That psychic moves on withtheir day.
You didn't come here to playsafe.
You came to remember your powerand build what comes next.
I'm Sylvia Beatriz, psychicmedium and intuition coach, and
this is Soul Level Human thepodcast for truth-tellers,

(01:48):
cycle-breakers and soul-ledrevolutionaries.
You didn't come here to bypassthe chaos.
You came here to lead throughit.
Well, I'm a mom with two kidsout for summer.
So it's almost two o'clock inthe morning on Saturday and this

(02:09):
podcast comes out tomorrow.
So I love you.
You're welcome.
Okay, let's get started.
About six years ago, inmeditation, I felt a presence
come into my space, had my eyesclosed.
It even made me open my eyes.
I felt it.
It was very visceral physicallyand I asked who it was.

(02:32):
And I received a flash of aletter K and I couldn't think of
anybody I knew whose namestarted with a letter K, so I
asked again can you give mesomething else?
And then a picture of a pandaflashed in my face.
Well, third eye right, but youget it.
The panda is my high schoolmascot and I knew a girl named

(02:53):
Kelly who had recently passedaway, but we'd lost touch long
before, and I told her I waslistening and she brought me
back to a moment in high school.
We were in a play togethercalled Sweet Charity and we were
supposed to come out dancing ina certain spot, but I kept
missing my cue by like a half acount.

(03:14):
And she was behind me and oursolution was that she would push
me out about a half a countbefore so that I would start on
time and our group would bewhere we were supposed to be
when we were supposed to bethere.
The song was Rhythm of Life, and back then she pushed me not

(03:35):
to miss my cue.
And now she was still pushingme, but this time it was to
fully live, to let myself beseen, to just do the damn thing
right.
And in that moment I felt her, that push on my back.
I keep saying this year, thechaos is your cue.

(03:56):
The chaos is your cue, it's2025.
The chaos is your cue.
And tonight, as I sat down torecord your cue, and tonight as
I sat down to record, I feel herwith me now, wanting me to
share that story, the push on myback this is your cue and then
the song lyrics to feel therhythm of life, to feel the

(04:17):
powerful beat, to feel thetingle in your fingers, to feel
the tingle in your feet.
And, first of all, that songwas very psychedelic.
I didn't really understand itat the time, but now when I
teach about energy, I talk aboutbeing able to feel the tingles
in your body, that, as you focusyour attention, you focus your

(04:39):
energy and you can direct yourenergy to the point where you
feel waves of heat and tinglesas you work with it.
It's life force, it's presence,it's power and it means you're
still here.
It means you still have achance to do the things you came
to do to explore, to learn, togrow, to create, to connect.

(05:01):
And tonight that message iscoming in so strongly as the
thing that's meant to be sharedright now.
It's the urgency Go now.
It's time.
Right now there's no more timeto hit the snooze button on
ourselves or to ignore ourcalling the problems that we

(05:23):
were put here to solve.
And before, maybe 2019, or evenlast year, when many of us
thought this was going to go adifferent way, at least we had
the illusion of comfort andsafety and security and the
rules made sense, security andthe rules made sense.

(05:51):
And suddenly the illusions aregone and we're finding that
nothing really makes senseanymore.
Like fires in LA at thebeginning of the year and now
ice in LA, like the city of fireand ice.
We've been in the trenches allyear and we're almost in August.
In the trenches all year andwe're almost in August.
It's wild.
So what do we have now that wecan actually count on?
We have the people we love, wehave the world around us, we

(06:17):
have what's on our heart toshare or create.
And if we're lucky, if we'vehad our awakening before this
all of this, then we alreadyhave a strong connection to
source or spirit and a directline for understanding and
insights.
And if not, that's wherepodcasts like this one come in,

(06:43):
but it's also where podcaststhat are spirituality to
alt-right pipeline come in too.
So I have such a high standardfor discernment and critical
thinking and education, historical and social context.
It's so important to staygrounded on this path and that's

(07:06):
such a missing piece in theconversation, as I've seen it
since I started in this wholespiritual journey.
It's so important.
And so if this is one of yourfirst stops on your path,
hallelujah, because no matterwhere you go from here, you will

(07:26):
know that you're driving thebus, not being manipulated to
fall into a cult and I've beenlearning a lot about cults
lately as well and the mostdangerous thought is that you
are exempt.
You are too smart to fall for acult.
You are too smart to fall for acult.
Those are the most susceptiblepeople.

(07:47):
So as long as you know thatit's easy to be manipulated and
it's easy to fall into trapsthat you can't see, then you'll
still have your guard up andyou'll protect your own
discernment with everythingyou've got.
And that's important and that'sone of the main things I teach

(08:13):
in Lighthouse.
That's one of the main reasonsI'm doing Lighthouse.
I realize how important andcrucial and needed it really is
right now.
So think about it.
When we're driving in a citywe've never been before we feel
okay because we have a map, wehave our cell phones, we have
the sun, we have ourunderstanding of directions and
how street lights work, becausethey work properly.

(08:34):
But in our world right now, ourmaps aren't quite loading.
The street lights are down.
We've never been here before.
It's very disorienting and ontop of that, it feels like all
the radio stations are on atfull blast all the time.
We are fried and it makes senseto just want to pull over and
stop driving, but we're not homeyet, so we have to keep going.

(08:57):
So Lighthouse is the key tohelping us get our bearings and
learn to navigate the newstreets with our inner compass.
Bearings and learn to navigatethe new streets with our inner
compass.
If you've ever watched the NextKarate Kid, mr Miyagi blindfolds
Julie, julie-san, so that shecan start to feel or sense or
hear the bags of flour as theybarrel towards her.
And at first she keeps gettingknocked over by the bags.

(09:20):
She's frustrated, she's pissed,it feels impossible, but she
learns to get centered andfocused and by taking away her
vision, she learns to rely moreon senses she didn't even know
she had.
Intuition is the same thing.
Julie was always able to seeand feel and sense and hear, but

(09:42):
when sight was taken away, shewas able to zero in on the input
that she never focused onbefore.
She never had to rely on itbefore.
She just took it for grantedand likely used it in the
background, almost by accident.
But it's learning to mute somesenses, to bring up the dial on
the ones you're working onstrengthening the ones that you

(10:03):
don't normally pay attention to,that are working whether you
know it or not.
It's learning to focus yourattention and energy so
specifically and so on purposethat your body begins to
remember how to access thatstate automatically, on purpose,
and what happens when we beginto trust that we're equipped to

(10:25):
handle whatever comes next,we're able to release anxiety
and fear, which is just future, casting your energy out of the
present.
And I'm not saying to not makeplans, I'm not saying to be
hedonistic and stop beingresponsible, but what I am
saying is that if we getcentered, focused and dialed in

(10:46):
with a specific intention in thepresent, we can choose where to
put our energy so that ouraction in the present is the
most effective and useful, evenwithout needing to understand or
have context.
In 2016, my daughter was one oneand a half and my husband was
in New York for work, and Ava,our daughter, she and I flew out

(11:10):
to visit him and his family wholived close by in Pennsylvania,
and one morning I remembergetting us ready for our day and
my grandma, who'd passed away afew years prior, popped in to
tell me to put some toilet paperin my back pocket.
It made me giggle.
It made no sense.
I mean, we're in New York, they're not just going to have
toilet paper in my back pocket.
It made me giggle.
It made no sense.
I mean, we're in New York, they're not just going to have

(11:32):
toilet paper everywhere,whatever.
I went the whole day thinking Ijust made it up that I was just
being paranoid andover-prepared, as usual.
Well, good thing I listened, because about 15 hours later I
was on the bus back to PA withmy baby asleep in the carrier
and I went to the bathroom onlyto realize there was no toilet
paper and I had exactly what Ineeded when I needed it, because

(11:53):
I listened.
That was also the trip.
I got to see Hamilton in thefront row for $10, because the
girl who won the lottery thatnight had a friend who wasn't
going to make it on time and sheasked me to be her plus one and
we pulled out the last cash wehad for the day and it was, all
in ones, exactly $10.

(12:16):
Living this way has shown mesuch magic like practical magic
that saves my actual butt on adaily basis that I don't know
how most of us are out herewinging it without any backstage
access, like thoughts andprayers to you I'm so sorry this
is.
I don't know how people do itwithout it and at the same time

(12:38):
I know that we're all one, sointerconnected that I feel the
feeling flavor of people aroundthe world and I know there's
nothing special about me,nothing that would make me
exempt from the worst of theworst in this world.
There's a psychic medium onTikTok who I've followed for a
few years that I learned wasjust killed this week by her

(13:01):
boyfriend in a domestic violenceshooting, and looking at
pictures of her and her10-year-old on her GoFundMe
really hit home.
I have a 10-year-old littlegirl too, and the trauma of that
situation a little girl whojust lost her mom and there were
comments saying well, she mustnot have been a very good

(13:22):
psychic then.
Making stupid jokes and pokingfun is so gross.
And I just want to set therecord straight no matter how
good of a psychic you are, howgood of a person you are, how
perfectly you live, you willnever outrun death.
You will never not be human andno matter how much you learn,

(13:45):
you'll never know all there isto know about this place and how
it works, and as soon as youthink you understand it all, you
will get humbled very quickly.
Who knows what lessons she camehere to learn, what her soul
contract was, or what herdaughter signed up for too.
I don't know and it's none ofmy business, and it really

(14:05):
doesn't even matter, becauseright now there's a little girl
who just lost her mom who needspeople to show up for her.
So I'm going to put a link tothe GoFundMe in the show notes
and if you feel called to donate, do it with a clear intention
and love.
But watching this incredibleoutpouring from the community
online, it's apparent how manylives she touched by putting

(14:27):
herself out there which takes somuch courage, by the way and
forming real relationships onand offline, and her last choice
in her entire life was toprotect her daughter.
I just have no words for that.
The bottom line is we're notmeant to have all the

(14:49):
information, we're not meant tocome here for a perfect
experience, and actually we'rebeing fried by people who know
that flooding the zone is adeliberate tactic to get us to
freeze and stop.
But stopping isn't an option.
And as the world gets darker,it's getting more important to
bring more of ourselves to thesituation.

(15:10):
If this is a battle between thelight and the dark sides of the
force, then it's time for ourJedi training.
And if you're listening to thispodcast still right now, I'm
talking to you directly.
If you weren't feeling the call, you'd never press play on this
podcast and you would havestopped listening a long time
ago.
And what makes me so sure?

(15:32):
Because there are clues hiddenin plain sight.
If you've watched K-pop demonhunters on Netflix, like the
rest of the world, then you knowwhat a huge movement it is.
Songs have made it to the radio, to EDM clubs across the world,
and earlier this year, tiktokusers flocked to Red Note to
stay connected globally and madefriends in China who showed us

(15:54):
what freedom actually looks likeday to day.
I mean, we can argue about whatthat actually means and the
background of everything, buttheir day-to-day experience
healthy, affordable food, timeto enjoy life and connect with
each other.
Technology that feelsfuturistic but actually just
exposes how behind we actuallyare, yeah, and how kind and

(16:19):
curious our connections were.
As fascism spreads across theworld, so is our international
drive to be connected to eachother and our connection to each
other is the most dangerousadversary to the powers that be.
Otherwise they wouldn't haveany problem letting PBS continue

(16:40):
, letting TikTok continue as itwas, letting late night show
hosts do their job of punchingup as it was, letting late night
show hosts do their job ofpunching up.
So what does that have to dowith K-pop demon hunters, aside
from the music upping the vibeand connection all over the
world?
Just like in the movie, in thestory, three K-pop stars are
tasked with using music toprotect the grid of light that

(17:03):
surrounds the world, keeping outdark spirits and without any
spoilers.
The light grid is the mostprotected when the truth is
accepted and faced head on andhealed through together, instead
of avoided and buried in shame.
And isn't that what we'redealing with in the real world?
Seriously, watch the movie.

(17:25):
It's been on repeat over heresince it came out and there's an
added invitation in there tooto join the collective energetic
movement it's been created bythis movie and the shared
experience.
It's humans all over the worldin real time connecting over the
same thing and strengtheningthe light grid of the world by
having a shared experience andaccidentally learning a thing or

(17:48):
two about energy at the sametime and, as you can see, my
spirit team likes to communicatewith me using pop culture and
media pretty frequently and itmakes my classes pretty fun, if
I say so myself.
This is going to be a short onebecause your girl's tired, these
kids are home, it's summer, butbefore we wrap up, I'm going to

(18:10):
answer a couple of questionsthat were submitted on social.
So the first one is how do Iknow if it's intuition or
anxiety?
And that is probably the topquestion I get all the time.
First of all, it's been aprocess to figure out which is

(18:30):
which, and I think the best wayto answer that right now, in
this moment, is going back to mytoilet paper story.
I didn't get a whole narrativeor a rigmarole about what if I
don't have any toilet paper, and, oh my gosh, it's going to be
like this, and then the bus isgoing to look like that, and
then this is going to happen.
It wasn't a whole story, itwasn't an entire flush of drama.

(18:54):
It was just simple and specificand it made no sense, which is
also a clue for me.
Put some toilet paper in yourpocket.
I'm sorry what?
Put some toilet paper in yourpocket.
It's the same.
I asked for it again.
The same transmission camethrough.
It was very specific, it wasvery simple and it was no drama.

(19:20):
The way that I explain it inclass is like the same level of
drama as me saying my name.
My name is Sylvia.
Yes, that is true.
I have zero feelings attachedto that.
The sky is blue.
Yes, that is true.
Zero feelings, no drama, supersimple.

(19:41):
Now, if it was like oh, it lookslike it's going to rain.
Oh, my gosh, is it thunder?
Do I need to bring an umbrella?
I might have to bring anumbrella.
Should I even take the car?
Should I take the other car?
Am I going to get in anaccident?
Could be a really big accident.
That's anxiety.
If there was a little messageabout an accident, then it could
be a delay in finding your keysin the morning, or you know

(20:06):
what I actually have.
This is a little advanced, but Igot the hit that my husband was
going to be in an accident onhis way home from a really late
job one time this is probablywithin the last year and in that
moment I had a very sterntalking to with my guides.
I said absolutely not.
He's going to come home safewith my guides?

(20:32):
I said absolutely not.
He's going to come home safeand that's it.
I opt out of that timelinewhere anything happens to him.
So he's going to come home safeand that's it.
And it was like I packed it upand I gave it back and I
released any kind of drama orattachment to the situation.
I was in complete surrender, complete trust, and I just went

(20:55):
on with my day.
And that night he got homereally late, to the point where
I was surprised Like I wasasleep when he walked in and I
was surprised that he was homeand I was also grateful because
I knew oh okay, this is the onewhere he comes home.
Isn't that a wild thought topop in your head?

(21:17):
But it was again completelypeaceful.
There was no drama attached atany part of this.
So I went back to sleep, Ididn't think anything of it and
then the next morning he pulledme aside and he let me know that
he did actually get in anaccident on his way home and
nobody was hurt, luckily.
You know, his car was scratchedup a little bit, but it was the

(21:38):
most mild version of thatsituation and he made it home.
So I think the information thatcomes in is very specific.
It makes no sense.
Sometimes it has no dramaattached to it and sometimes you
can still opt out.

(21:59):
But that's a little bit moreadvanced, and I mean, if it
happens enough times, to whereyou can, to where you understand
what it feels like when it istrue and verified down the line,
versus when it's anxiety andyour brain just running away

(22:20):
with everything.
You get to a point where youunderstand the difference.
Get to a point where youunderstand the difference and
that comes back to trust for me,and a healthy sense of trust is
built with consistency overtime.
I always referred people toBrene Brown's talk on the

(22:41):
anatomy of trust.
Look it up, it's on YouTube.
It's brilliant.
Your relationship to yourselfand the relationship to your
spirit team and yourrelationship to the universe is
absolutely the same.
I'm not asking you to trustanything that I say.
I want you to verify it foryourself over time with
consistency.
I'm not asking you to trustanything that I say about the

(23:04):
universe.
I want you to test it and haveyour own experience because I
could tell you all kinds ofthings.
People give their power away soquickly and I'm already going
off on a tangent.
People give their power away soquickly to psychics and mediums
and people, intuitives, thatthey go see should I call him

(23:27):
back?
Should I take this job?
Should I move out?
You know whatever.
How about see what feels goodfor you?
Because that psychic doesn'thave to go home and live your
life.
That psychic moves on withtheir day.
It's you who gets to live yourlife and live with the
consequences of whatever thosechoices are.

(23:47):
So all of this to say intuition, spirit hits very specific,
drama-free, very simple truth.
And anxiety is a storydrama-filled, it's like a
runaway train.
And let me just be clear.
I know intrusive thoughts.
I had postpartum depression andanxiety.
Those were so scary andterrifying and like 99.999% of

(24:22):
those things never happened, butthey were still terrifying and
awful.
But I knew the difference, luckily, thank God.
But yeah, that doesn't make itany easier, but I can tell you,
yes, there is an absolutedifference between intuition and
anxiety.
Hope this helps.
The next question I'm going toanswer one more.
It says I've tried to meditate, journal and pull cards, but I

(24:47):
still feel disconnected.
What am I missing?
Ooh, yeah, been there.
I lovingly call that beingbenched, and there's quite a few
different reasons that I'veseen for this.
Um, speaking for myself.
Uh, when, oh hi, bringing in myear.
Thank you for the confirmation.

(25:09):
When the 3D world demands yourattention and you absolutely
cannot handle anything else, nervous system regulation is
probably the next thing on themenu.
The spirit world is not goingto come in and give you more of
anything.
The way that I break it down inLighthouse is basically like

(25:34):
water.
There's different layers ofconsciousness and usually humans
operate on the surface andthere's so much happening
beneath the surface that we'renot aware of.
But it's still there.
We're just taking it forgranted.
Oh, the water is moving andit's so hard to see clearly

(25:54):
until we get very still andwe're able to be with and go
deeper into the many layers ofwater.
So I'm talking about thesubconscious and superconscious
brain.
I'm talking about thesubconscious and superconscious
brain.
I'm talking about nervoussystem regulation.
I'm talking about when weactually have action, steps,
important things and prioritiesto take care of in our 3D life.

(26:17):
Maybe it's taxes, maybe it'smaking dinner for your kids.
Serve you to be so focused onthe feedback that you're getting
from the energetic tools ifyou're not brushing your teeth
and not nourishing your body andnot taking care of your
responsibilities.
That is a cocktail of reasonswhy you're feeling disconnected.

(26:39):
In 2019, I studied with LisaWilliams, who's an amazing
psychic medium that I'd followedfor probably about a decade and
a half before that.
But I became close with myother students in that cohort
and I was so fried in 2020.
I had just had a newborn inFebruary, right before lockdown.

(27:01):
Ava was four, she was barelyturning five, she was still in
preschool.
I mean, I was in the trenchesand I could not get any kind of
clarity.
I wasn't sleeping, I wasn'teating right, just the world was

(27:21):
scared, it was a lot and nomatter what, I could not access
any guidance.
It was like static and it wasso frustrating and disorienting.
But really what I needed was 3D, it was sleep, it was somebody
else to like mother the mother, you know, um and Adam was

(27:43):
working and my mom was workingand I had a newborn at home.
I couldn't.
I didn't have all of thesupports that I had put into
place beforehand, because it wasCOVID, it was locked down, it
was just not available.
So what I really needed was the3D needs that were not being
met.
So usually when we're benched,it really has to do with either

(28:06):
either we're so fried and weneed to take care of ourselves
better, or there's somethingthat gotten it to see.
You know, are we really incoherence with what we say?

(28:30):
We believe in what we say, thatwe're here to do?
Yeah, I would say those are mytop three reasons for being
benched lovingly benched, and ifyou are currently in that, I
feel you and if you can findsome space to get quiet and

(28:55):
nurture your own connection, tofind your own answers and take
one action step, even just oneaction step, will get you closer
to a different vantage point,so that you can hear or see a
little bit more or a little bitdifferently once you take that
action step, the idea is not toget lost in the inaction and

(29:17):
overthinking and just take onenext step and that will
absolutely get some energymoving again.
Okay, there you go.
I think that was good.
So thank you for everybody whosubmitted your questions.
I really appreciate that.
I love talking about this stuff.
As you know, I have a wholepodcast.

(29:40):
Oh, 2.22 AM Love that.
For me it's my magic number andalso it's time for bed.
So, anyway, I will be answeringmore questions in the next solo
episode and it's time to saygoodnight, but I want to leave
you with this Maybe 2025 is yourmoment, maybe this is your cue

(30:01):
to trust those tingles, to buildthat trust muscle, to follow
that buzzy feeling, to put themetaphorical toilet paper in
