Listen to this episode for a practical roadmap and Rx for exactly where you're at on the feelings spectrum. Staying engaged is a requirement. It's the assignment. But that doesn't mean we have to ignore our human side and power through. Au contraire, mon ami.

Episode Summary:

You can feel sad and angry and still be in alignment with your soul's purpose. This radical truth serves as the foundation for navigating our current reality—a pressure cooker of global challenges that astrologers have been anticipating for decades. While the powers that be count on our collective burnout and division, we have tools to resist this manipulation and reclaim our power.

The journey begins with breathing. Drawing from military research on "sense-making"—the $3.85 million program exploring intuition and premonition in combat situations—we learn that regulating our nervous system creates the foundation for clear thinking and effective action. Box breathing (four counts in, hold, out, hold) serves as an accessible reset button available anytime, anywhere.

From this centered state, we can better assess what we're experiencing: Are we numb and overwhelmed? Drowning in grief? Seeing red? Stuck in mental loops? Each state requires different approaches—gentle self-care for freeze responses, safe expression for anger, focused action for overthinking. The key isn't avoiding these emotions but moving through them without judgment.

Remember that you're likely carrying more than your personal feelings—you're also holding energy for the collective. If you resonate with this message, you've probably signed up for a role in holding light during these times. This responsibility may feel particularly heavy for those whose comfort has historically been prioritized over others' safety.

Trust that your soul chose this timeline deliberately. The synchronicities and intuitive hits you've experienced were preparation for these higher-stakes moments. There has never been a more powerful, empathetic, technologically literate, and globally connected conscious generation than ours. This is our time to step into our highest timeline and inspire others through our example.

What one tangible action can you take today to declare to the universe that y

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Next up on Soul Level Human.
Here's something controversial.
You can feel sad and angry andstill be in alignment.
The difference is that youstill have a pulse on the soul
level, truth underneath, andyou're still sitting with and
honoring the feelings happeningon the human level with space

(00:21):
and compassion.
There's no judgment.
This is what you've beenpracticing for, this is what the
tools are for, this is what youcame here for, and it's a tall
order.
I know that.
You know that, but there hasnever been a more powerful,
empathetic, more technologicallyliterate and globally connected

(00:44):
conscious generation.
This is our time and it won'tbe easy, but when has anything
ever been easy?
You didn't come here to playsafe.
You came to remember your powerand build what comes next.
I'm Sylvia Beatriz, psychicmedium and intuition coach, and

(01:05):
this is Soul Level Human, thepodcast for truth tellers, cycle
breakers and soul-ledrevolutionaries.
You didn't come here to bypassthe chaos.
You came here to lead throughit.

(01:31):
On Soul Level Human, I amsitting here at about three
o'clock in the morning recordingthis just hours before I wanted
to go out.
I've had the kids homesick withme this week with hand, foot,
mouth.
They felt totally fine, exceptfor some really short-lived and
sporadic sicky hours, and I meanthat's best case scenario,
right?
So they're fine and they'vebeen wreaking unstructured

(01:52):
summertime havoc on my home andmy schedule.
And then our dog, dudley, torehis ACL last week and I've been
helping him figure out how toget around with our stairs and
not wanting to use our doggydoor and I have just surrendered
all of it.
So I've just been scrollingmore than usual in order to cope
with the feeling of not beingable to actually start or stop

(02:15):
anything and keep momentum and atrain of thought in the middle
of mama watch this.
Mama wipe my butt.
Mama Dudley needs to go outside.
Mama, can I have my iPad?
Can I watch a show?
Can I have a popsicle?
Can I have a snack?
I'm bored.
Why can't I watch a show yet?
Oh my God, it never ends.
I love them.
And summertime parenting isreally something in the middle

(02:42):
of an apocalypse.
Right, and just like you, I amtotally human.
I have dared to let myself feela glimmer of hope, reaching out
to various representatives thisweek senators earlier than that
right to try to get a morehumane outcome, and I've been
utterly disgusted andheartbroken by the gleeful

(03:04):
celebration over AlligatorAuschwitz, because that's really
what it is and Loomer's verypersonal comment about it but
also not having the space tofully feel anything in the
middle of parenting and latenight movie marathons.
It's wild.
It's wild what we're beingasked to live through right now,

(03:26):
and I am an introvert who hashad to learn very intentionally
to hang out with extroverts andconfidence speaking humor.
Social interactions of any kinddid not ever come naturally to
me and as a mom much less apsychic, medium, energy

(03:49):
sensitive mom I do not functionwell with no breaks or time
alone.
I can hold a lot.
I have more patience andempathy than a lot of people out
there do, and for that samereason I require time alone to
reset my own energy.
And I always used to joke thatI'm a nights and weekends kind

(04:13):
of parent.
And when I was younger Ithought, oh my gosh, I would be
the best mom, I would be thebest teacher.
And after having two actualkids of my own, I realized you
know what I would not.
I would not be a good teacher,I would not have the energetic
bandwidth for that.

(04:33):
I don't know how teachers do it.
Bless you.
You should be making six-figureminimum with full benefits, but
that's a whole otherconversation.
So, yeah, I'm a nights andweekends kind of parent and for
a long time I actually felt alot of shame for being okay with
that amount of time investment.
And I realize now that actuallyI am so hyper present and

(04:59):
attuned on every level when I'mwith the kids, when I'm doing my
work, when I'm with my people, that I actually can't function
as an adult in society if I'malso expecting myself to hold
that marathon level for crazyamounts of time.
I can't.
The math doesn't math right, and I don't say that to brag at

(05:21):
all.
I'm just a really intenseperson and I'm finally growing
into it and being okay with allof it at 40 years old.
So what's my point in sharingall of this?
I'm just wanting to normalize, letting yourself be yourself and
taking the shoulds out of it.

(05:42):
You know what feels good to you.
You know the things that helpyou feel more like yourself and
you probably know what it feelslike when you're starting to
feel a little crispy around theedges because you're probably
not doing the things that fillyou back up at all.
Like me this week and last weekActually last week was worse,

(06:05):
but you know I've let myselfjust do what I got to do, have
an epic cry and then actuallygoing towards feeling, all of
the feelings has allowed me tobe on the other side with
whatever it looks like, justactually letting go of the reins
of what I thought it was goingto look like, and that's okay

(06:26):
too.
So sometimes you can hold more, sometimes you can hold less,
and all of it is completelynormal and okay, especially
these days.
We are in a pressure cooker overhere in the States and across
the world.
Truly, this is an insane time, and I'm not an astrologer, but

(06:52):
all of the ones that I trust andthat I learn from have been
anticipating in various levelsof dread forever, and it's
something that we reallycouldn't even fathom.
Laurie Rivers always talksabout 2025, being a beginner

(07:15):
astrologer in the 80s and 90sand losing sleep over 2025, and
what would it actually mean tobe in this time?
Well, here we are and there'sno way that we could have fully
been prepared for everythingthat's happening across the

(07:36):
world and the volume ofeverything that's happening
across the world.
So here we are we are in apressure cooker and the powers
that be are counting on us tonot be able to hold this
impossible amount of input andshock and fear, and they're
counting on us to burn out andpanic.

(07:56):
They're counting on us givingall of our power and energy away
.
They're counting on us startingto look at each other sideways,
tired, angry, terrified.
People are so much easier todominate and separate and
dehumanize.
That's what we know fromhistory, right?

(08:18):
So, with all of my expertise inenergy, it's time to focus up.
But first, in order to do that,we have to let ourselves be
human, without the shoulds, because the shoulds are just
resistance and roadblocks Ifwe're just going to let
ourselves be, just as a firststep.

(08:39):
After that, we can do whateverwe can do to move the energy.
We all have different tools, and I'll go into that in a
little bit.
We regulate our nervous system,we calm our racing mind, and
then we'll have the clarity tofigure out which way is up,
which way we want to go, what wewant instead, what our next
action step is and this is notjust something I'm making up.

(09:02):
Navy SEALs have to learn how todo this in order to do what
they do right.
They are trained in how to keeptheir cool in high stress
situations so that they can makethe best decisions and take the
right actions when the stakesare life or death.
This is the foundation thatkeeps people safe.

(09:23):
In a 2017 article in TimeMagazine called the US Military
Believes People Havea SixthSense.
I'll link it in the show notes.
It starts off by saying in 2014, the Office of Naval Research
embarked on a four-year $3.85million research program to

(09:44):
explore the phenomena it callspremonition and intuition, or
quote-unquote spidey sense, forsailors and Marines.
End quote to say.
According to the Pentagon, theprogram was born of field
reports from the war theater, including a 2006 incident in
Iraq when Staff Sergeant MartinRichburg, using intuition,

(10:15):
prevented carnage in an IED orimprovised explosive device
incident.
Commander Joseph Cohen, aprogram manager at the Naval
Office, told the New York Timesthese reports from the field
often detailed a sixth sense, orspidey sense, that allowed them
to respond to a novel situationwithout consciously analyzing
the situation.
The article goes on to say thatthey now call this skill

(10:36):
sense-making.
They now call this skillsense-making.
In official defense departmentliterature, sense-making is
defined as a motivated, continuous effort to understand
connections in order toanticipate their trajectories
and act effectively.
End quote.
These are highly trained andknowledgeable individuals who
have as much logical 3Dinformation and intel as

(10:59):
possible.
But how they integrate theirprevious education and
synthesize it with rapidlychanging environments in real
time and turn it into decisiveand effective action is a
totally different thing.
And that's what I'm talkingabout with integrating intuition
, spidey senses and regular lifehere on Soul Level, human.

(11:22):
This is my entire point.
In 2016, I knew I got a downloadduring the debates that if
Trump got elected, that we wouldbe on the timeline that would
actually revisit everything fromWorld War II and that we would
get a front row seat to how allof it actually happened here in
the US.
I didn't understand it, Icouldn't believe it, I didn't

(11:43):
want to.
And in 2019, when I taught myfirst round of Lighthouse that's
the transmission I was gettingthat it was my job to teach
regular people to activate theirsoul side so that they could
bring those skills andawarenesses into their normal
life to make the world a betterplace.

(12:05):
And at that point, the 2016download was far enough in the
past that I didn't want to touchit.
It was way in the back of mymind, stuffed down as much as
possible.
But now, in 2025, I see the bigpicture, I get it now how we
show up right now and in thenext months and years will

(12:30):
absolutely have an impact.
We're already seeing theconsequences play out around us
and we're already seeing thatthere are many of us who are not
paying attention because ithasn't affected them directly
yet, and that's not eventouching climate change yet.
This is all the manufacturedcrises that we're dealing with

(12:51):
right now.
In order to make sense,sense-making, right, in order to
make sense of the world aroundyou, you must be in the driver's
seat of your energy and that'syour attention, your body and
your mind.
And the most basic tool thatyou always have at your disposal

(13:12):
is your breathing.
When you're in fight, flight, freeze, your breathing is
shallow or you're even holdingyour breath.
So right now, if you do nothingelse, breathe.
Let's do four counts of boxbreathing, so that's four in
through your nose.
You're going to hold it at thetop, then out through your mouth

(13:35):
and hold it for four.
So I'll count us off.
So we're going to go breathe inhold at the top, three, four
and out.
Hold two, three, four and in.
Hold two, three, four out.

(14:00):
Hold two, three, four out.
Hold two, three, four in.
Hold two, three, four out.
Hold two, three, four in out.

(14:21):
Hold two, three, four in Holdtwo, three, four and let
yourself come back.
Doesn't that feel better?
You didn't actually do anythingthat you're freaking out about.
You just breathed for a second, but it helps If you're yawning.

(14:44):
Good, that's a sign of energymoving in your nervous system,
coming back into rest and digest.
And there are a ton of easytechniques to use to reset your
energy back to baseline.
You can cross your midline, touch your right hand to your
left knee and then switch lefthand to right knee.

(15:04):
Did I get that right?
Touch your right hand to yourleft knee.
I feel like I'm doing the hokeypokey.
Touch your right hand to yourleft knee, then switch left hand
to right knee or crawl on yourhands and knees for a little bit
.
And what?
Crossing your midline, gettingyour left and right body in on

(15:26):
this for a little bit.
It brings your right and leftbrain hemispheres back into
coherence so that you can startcalming your body down.
And that comes your emotionsand that helps everything.
Come back to baseline and thenyou can think straight.
What we want is to support ourbody through the wave of stress

(15:46):
and emotion, not hot potato itwith eating or scrolling or
drinking or ostriching, and alsonot staying stuck in it and
holding on to it, all renderingourselves totally immobile and
catatonic and completely useless.
So, yeah, so after that, firstthing to do then you do a

(16:11):
foundations check-in.
My family will tell you as theyprobably roll their eyes that
my first thing is alwaysbreathing.
That's something you can dowhen you're laid up on a couch
like a potato.
Even if you're annoyed by it,you can still breathe.
And then, after that, you treatyourself like a plant Water,
some sunshine, maybe a snack,maybe a nap.

(16:33):
What's next depends on whatyou're finding as you go.
What's next depends on whatyou're finding as you go.
If you're numb and overwhelmed, you're stuck in freeze.
It's okay and it makes sense.
So be so gentle with yourself.
And here's where it's time toask for help, to do something
small.
Even getting up to brush yourteeth might feel like a lot, so

(17:07):
you can even start with humming.
Have you heard that fan song onTikTok?
I'm obsessed.
It's so haunting and beautiful.
It doesn't even need to soundpretty, just hum.

(17:31):
That helps.
You can keep your eyes open orclosed.
You can add some rocking backand forth or tapping on your
body, crossing your arms andjust hugging yourself.
All of those are options thatyou have available to you, even
if you're laying down on thecouch totally frozen.
That's a great place to start, and all of these things are

(17:54):
grounding and so helpful If youare in a bottomless pit of
despair and you're grieving andheartbroken and without a place
to put all of this energy.
So it's simply leaking out ofyou and you're crying and you're
overflowing.
That's okay, that makes sense.
If you need a good cry, have agood cry, but that might require

(18:18):
you carving out some time andspace to actually let yourself
go there.
And grief is weird.
Grief is normal and there'salways more.
It's not linear, right, andit's an ongoing situation.
So don't be surprised or upsetif there's another day or

(18:39):
another minute or another hourthat you actually find some more
tears to cry.
It's normal and it makes sense.
So if you're feeling likeyou're leaking, give yourself
some space to actually go thereinstead of just barely having it
drip drip.
If you're seeing red andeverything and everybody is
pissing you off, you might beterrified or feeling unsafe to

(19:06):
feel or exist in your body andit's time to take back your
power safely.
Take up space vocally by havinga good scream.
Can you take a hike and yellinto a ravine?
Can you drive on the freewaywith the windows rolled down and
scream till you're done and allout of screams?
Can you go to a rage room andbreak stuff with some loud music

(19:31):
playing while you wear safetygoggles?
Bonus points if you ask afriend to do this with you.
Raging with a friend usuallyturns into tears and then into
laughter or, at the very least, relief, because you're not alone
.
If you're stuck in questions andoverthinking, you might be

(19:54):
trying to control the situation, anticipate the infinite number
of variables that exist betweenthe present and the future
imagined scenario and solve aproblem before it even exists in
your experience personally.
So can you pick one action item, a low hanging fruit that many
of your possible outcomes wouldbenefit from, and actually take

(20:18):
some steps to look into it.
Get real world specific on whatthat looks like and what your
next step is.
So do that, and then that's oneversion of getting an idea
that's just in the mental soupout into the world, out into
your body, out taking the actionin the 3D world.
So that's really great to stopthe spiral of thinking If it's

(20:42):
in the middle of the night andyou, I don't know, don't have
access to internet, for example, you can just verbal vomit,
mental vomit, on a page.
Get all of that energy or asmuch as you can anyway out on
paper.
Make diagrams, make charts.
If you have to Go full on abeautiful mind about it, just
get it out of your brain and getthat energy out through your

(21:06):
arms and your fingers and onto apage.
That's going to be reallyhelpful for you.
In all of these situations, it'sbasically time to be with the
underlying shadow, without beingafraid of it, trying to control
it, trying to should it out ofexistence or running away from

(21:29):
it, and remember it feels bigbecause it is.
You are feeling your ownfeelings, but unless you've
adjusted your settingsspecifically, it's highly likely
that you're also carrying theenergy for the collective and
your own ancestry.
I came across a TikTok creatorthe other day saying that you

(21:51):
need to detach from feeling forthe collective, to just be with
your own experience, becauseit's all too much, and I can see
where she's coming from.
There is something to be saidfor putting on your own oxygen
mask and being aware of how muchyou can hold.
However, if you are listeningto this podcast, there is a very

(22:12):
high chance that you came hereand specifically signed up for a
role in helping to hold thelight for the collective.
And in order to hold the light, whatever, you have your hands
full of needs to be movedthrough, not ignored, not held
on to, processed through.

(22:32):
And the responsibility ofworking past your comfort level
is slightly louder and heavierfor my white people, people in a
white body whose comfort hasbeen prioritized over the safety
, the actual safety of others.

(22:55):
So that's another filter thatyou can sit with.
Either way, you're in thedriver's seat, you're in charge
of your settings, with yourintention, always, and as above,
so below, and so the way that Ican demonstrate that in a micro
level is when my kids arefeeling sick.

(23:17):
In a micro level is when mykids are feeling sick or they're
having big feelings, I givethem the tools to be with the
feeling and process through it.
Whether it's a skinned knee ora nightmare, or issues with
friends at school or actualphysical symptoms of feeling
throw upy, as we call it, I'mwith them.

(23:37):
I'm not taking away theirfeelings.
I'm not taking away or takingownership of their experience,
but I'm with them and guidingthem through various tools and
practices to be with and workthrough the experience, I'm able
to set my own settings toassist in that, to take some of

(24:02):
the edge off.
But I'm not doing it for them.
I'm modeling how to movethrough it and I'm setting the
intention, with my spirit team, that I'm assisting in the
process and I know it's working.
When they start yawning ortheir symptoms subside, or I
start releasing energy throughyawns or muscle twitches or

(24:25):
energy burps, which is so sexy, yeah, but it works.
That's how I know it's working.
So in order to do this, youhave to make sure that your
baseline, you're coming in clean, you're already not holding on
to anything that's not yours, and as you go through it, when

(24:46):
you're done, you're also notgoing to be holding on to
anything that's not yours.
So you only sign up to supportin this way when you're in
integrity, honestly in a placeto hold it.
So one thing about me I'm notafraid of feelings, I'm not
afraid of the dark anymore.
I know now how powerful I am,even if I'm in a dream.

(25:09):
I don't have nightmares anymore.
I know how to lucid dream.
I know how to work with them.
I know that I'm powerful.
I know my boundaries.
I know my spirit team.
I know my support.
I know my own energy.
I know how to tell if I'm in aplace to hold more.
I know how to adjust mysettings and ask for less.
This is all active.

(25:29):
This is all stuff I go deeperinto in Lighthouse, which I'll
be announcing later this month.
If you'd like to sign up forthe priority list, just go on my
website and you'll be the firstto know.
But this is all on purpose.
I can work with the energy inreal time, know when to ebb and

(25:49):
flow along with it.
I am working through it and Ican powerfully assist because
I'm in a place of being centered.
I 100% know when I'm in my ownshit.
I absolutely don't have spaceto hold more for the collective.
Are you kidding me?
But I also know and have thediscernment for whether it's

(26:14):
really, truly, I cannot holdanything more, or if it's, I am
scared of it, or if it's, Ican't touch that.
It's I can't, it's not mine,and that's going to vary based
on every situation and everysingle day, moment to moment.

(26:37):
So only you can know whereyou're coming from truly, and
only you are the authority onyour life and your energy.
So if you want to know whenyou're out of alignment, what
does that even look like?
If you're out of alignment, youdon't feel powerful.
You don't feel in control.
Feel powerful, you don't feelin control.

(27:03):
You don't feel like yourself.
You feel far away from thetruth.
You might be consumed by fearyou might be trying to control
other people or control theoutcome of the situation.
And alignment, on the otherhand, feels like truth no drama.
Other hand feels like truth nodrama.
The sky is blue.
Yep, my name is Sylvia Yep.

(27:26):
Integrity, consciously choosingand allowing your human self to
exist without the shame and theshoulds.
And here's somethingcontroversial you can feel sad
and angry and still be inalignment.
The difference is that youstill have a pulse on the soul
level, truth underneath, andyou're still sitting with and

(27:49):
honoring the feelings happeningon the human level with space
and compassion.
There's no judgment whenthere's no alignment.
There's also a layer ofjudgment happening like an
overlay, sitting on top of thefeelings, and it might be a
cerebral acknowledgement of yeah, yeah, yeah, soul level.
I know this, I get it, la la la, but I am so pissed that this

(28:11):
is what it is and I know Ishouldn't be.
I don't believe in shoulds, butI do give myself space to
notice what I do want and what Idon't want, and I let myself
feel the feelings when there isspace between what is and what I
wish would be.
Instead, and that is thesurrender piece.

(28:38):
There is no amount of knowledgethat will ever mean that you
can't make a mistake or that youwill know everything there is
to know.
There is no amount of controlthat will ever mean that nothing
will ever go wrong.
There is no amount of panic orstress that will ever help you
solve a problem quickly, efficiently and with space and
depth and wisdom or compassion, and there's no amount of

(29:03):
judgment and shame that willever help you feel loved and
worthy of a positive action oroutcome.
So take a moment to breatheinto the stretch that you're
already in, that you maybedidn't realize you're in.
How much deeper can you let gointo this stretch Without trying

(29:30):
to learn more about it orcontrol it or stress about it or
shame yourself about it?
Or stress about it or shameyourself about it?
Take a deep breath inAcknowledge you're being
stretched.
Acknowledge that this isoutside of your comfort zone,

(29:53):
that there's a million thingsyou'd rather be doing with your
summer 2025, that it makes senseto feel resistance to all of it
, without any clear answers?
And as you breathe, how muchdeeper can you let yourself
stretch into this feeling?
How much can you soften intoyour body and your emotions

(30:20):
without tightening up to blockyourself from feeling?
Can you allow yourself to trustthat your soul did come here
for this time?
And that trust comes easy whenthe stakes are low right?

(30:45):
It's not just for when you getyour perfect parking spot, it's
not just for when the person youthink of magically calls you in
the next second, the person youthink of magically calls you in
the next second, and it's notjust when you're thinking of
your loved one who passed awayand in the next moment, their
favorite song comes on the radio.

(31:06):
That's the low stakes.
That's when you're learningwhat you can trust.
And if you're listening to this, still, if you're listening to
my voice right now, I know thatyou have a calling on your heart
.
You're feeling that tug fromyour soul and something about

(31:26):
what I'm saying is resonatingwith you, and that is how I know
that this trust muscle thatyou've been building is for this
time, for right now, not justfor when it's easy, not just for
when the stakes are low.
It's for when you're scared,when you're angry and

(31:50):
overwhelmed.
This is what you've beenpracticing for.
This is what the tools are for.
This is what you came here for,and it's a tall order.
I know that.
You know that, but there hasnever been a more powerful,

(32:13):
empathetic, pathetic, moretechnologically literate and
globally connected consciousgeneration.
This is our time, and it won'tbe easy, but when has anything

(32:34):
ever been easy?
And if you're still listening,we came here to make things
right with our powers combinedright With our care, bear stare.
We came here to change theworld, and this is not the time

(32:56):
to think small.
So do what you have to do tocare for yourself, exactly where
you are right now, and connectback, choose again, anchor into
the intention what is true, whatyou came here for, anchor back

(33:18):
into the knowledge that you haveexperienced things that defy
logic, things that defy the lawsof this 3D place.
Remember that the impossible ispossible and even though the
experts are saying one thing andthat logic is saying another

(33:38):
thing and even the worst casescenario possible of astrology
is saying another thing youstill have free will, you still
have agency.
You can still be in charge ofyour own settings and you will
determine where you fit in thispuzzle.

(34:01):
You will determine how you movethrough this time and how you
show up will have a rippleeffect that will also enable
other people to step into theirpower, their energy too.
And if you're listening, beforethe 777 portal, do something to

(34:27):
anchor and reclaim your agency, your power today.
What is one tangible, small orbig?
I don't mean to dampen you, I'mnot in your way.
What is one thing you can do todeclare to the universe today

(34:48):
that you are in charge of yourtimeline and your energy, that
you recognize what job you'rehere to do, even if you don't
have the specifics of what thatactually looks like yet.
Knowing that you are here toanchor the light by stepping

(35:08):
into your own highest timeline, that's enough, and that job
description will evolve as timegoes on.
Reclaim your power, reclaimyour energy and see that
reflected back to you in your 3Dand whatever that looks like
for you.
I would love to hear about it onInstagram or TikTok Hell

(35:31):
anywhere.
Share something, tell me aboutit.
I would love to know whatyou're up to.

(35:53):

guidance and keep having theaudacity to choose the highest
timeline.
When you show up fully, yougive others permission to do the
same.
Make this the timeline whereyou show up.
