Speaker 1 (00:04):
Hello, Hi, Thursday.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
Yeah, it's happy Thursday. I'm so glad we're here together.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
I'm so glad we're here together. Back for episode three.
I got my ginger tea brewed. Are you drinking any
tea right now?
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Yes, my traditional peppermint tea with a little bit of
raw honey just to touch. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:27):
Nice. So you're gonna have a clear voice and a
clear audience today for our uh for our episode here well,
so nice doing another third episode today. I think we're
going to focus on medium ship. That's gonna be kind
of the theme of the talk. And I know it's
(00:49):
something that you specialize in, but maybe as a recap,
let's just from a high level of Pandora, like, what
are all the things that you specialize in and the
services that you you know, you help your clients with.
Speaker 2 (01:00):
Hey, so I'm a psychic medium. I come from a
psychic family, and I've been doing this work for over
three decades, you know. I started in utero. I do
sound healing, crystal and color therapy. I work with a
lot of animal communication sessions, so doing animal behavior stuff,
(01:25):
also working with animals who have crossed over. I'm a
meditation coach. I also have created four oracle decks, I
have written in three I think now collaborative books, and
a book of my own on relationships. So I do
(01:45):
all sorts of stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Geez, yeah, clearly are not busy. Ever, so since we
touched on the psychic medium and like the specific part
medium ship today, you know, so I feel like TikTok
social media Instagram. I always see these people that are like,
I'm a psychic medium, and it seems to be such
a very like hot word buzzword. I don't know what
(02:11):
mediumship means. What does that mean? I guess I always
equate it to like some sort of coaching sort of speak,
But like in your world, how would you define like
mediumship and what does that really mean?
Speaker 2 (02:25):
So not every psychic is a medium, but all mediums
are psychics. Okay. Basically, to be a medium, you have
to be able to shift your energy and raise your
vibrations so that you can hear, sense, feel, use your clairvoyance,
(02:48):
clear sentience, clear audience, so clear seeing, clear, feeling, clear, hearing,
clear knowing of the loved ones in spirit to be
able to connect to the spirit world. So that is
something that definitely needs to be practiced and then there
are many types of mediums as well. I'm an evidential medium,
(03:11):
which means that I work to bring through evidence to
prove who the person is, who I'm connected with on
the other side, versus what you might see with some
TV mediums who will just stand in the room and say,
I have a man here and he has brown hair
and brown eyes. Can anybody claim him? So no, that's
(03:32):
more like cold reading, and I come from a space
of proving, Hey, I feel like this person is your father.
I'm seeing that he looked like this, he may have
done this for work. He's showing me that this is
his favorite food. So they come through when I ask
them to with a lot of things that the client
(03:56):
can confirm so they know that this is actually loved
one and then they can relax and just have that conversation.
So the other way that I could say what a
medium is is someone who can facilitate those final conversations
between the client and their loved ones, because a lot
of times we don't get a chance to say goodbye
(04:16):
before someone passs.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
You know, yeah, absolutely, And would you say with the
medium stuff like is it something that you have to
do consciously in terms of raising your vibration or does
that kind of happen automatically when you're like setting the
intention to go into like a mediumship chance like session.
I guess I'm just curious by this whole thing.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
So I always do meditation beforehand. I work to protect
my energy as I go through daily life. So I
don't leave myself fully open unless I'm working with a client,
because it's it can drain a lot of energy if
you leave yourself open all the time. So before I
(04:57):
have a client scheduled, I will do a meditation to
raise my vibration to be able to channel.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
That makes sense.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
That makes sense, okay, good? Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
And when you are getting this like evidential sign signals,
I guess, how does it appear to you? Is it
something that you hear? Are you seeing something? Is it
like a form of all of the Claire's Like? How
does that get presented to you?
Speaker 2 (05:27):
So it a lot of it depends on how comfortable
the soul is on the other side that I'm connecting with,
how long they have been on the other side to
develop their ability to communicate. Usually I get it the
easiest way for them to do it is visually, so
clairvoyant sort of like if you pretend that you have
(05:48):
a movie screen in your head, they would talk to
me in pictures on that movie screen in my head. Okay,
And people can learn how to do that. I mean
we do it kind of naturally when we're working with visualization,
and sometimes with affirmations. We may think about them in
a visual way too, but usually visually is what I
(06:11):
get first. Then I will sense it in my body,
especially if they're communicating to me what some of their
challenges may have been in life, their physical challenges, like
if they had a limp, or if they had some
other health issue, or maybe a frickle or beauty mark
somewhere right, So then I would see it. Since it
(06:32):
in the body, I do hear things I do sometimes
hear their voice in their voice. Other times I will
hear words in my head that are not in their
voice because the voice. To get us to hear their
voice is one of the hardest things that they do.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
Wow. So like on their side, it takes a lot
of effort to do that.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
A lot of effort to do that, just like when
we see a ghost. It when they are able to
manifest themselves so that we can see them. Yeah, that
takes a ton of energy as well.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
I hope to never.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
See a ghosts so much.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
I'm always like, I can feel you're there, Please do
not present yourself.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
I do not need to see you because it freaks
me out so.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
Much, right, I mean, I understand totally, especially because they
have a tendency to pop up when we're not expecting them. Yeah,
you know, but that's the thing with our loved ones
and spirit is they try not to jump in and
scare us like that. A lot of times the ghosts
that are seen are souls that are kind of trapped
between here and there, so they're they're not fully through
(07:39):
their journey of getting to the other side.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
So when someone books a session with you, does it
it's like a for example, like a psychic session. Does
a medium like just flow automatically into it, or do
you find your client's book maybe a specific medium ship session.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
What do you typically see?
Speaker 2 (07:59):
So I have mediumship is a separate session because I
have to do the work to be prepared. Got it
two channel. So in a psychic session, that's just about
what's going on in their lives. There things that they
want to work on and work through and what's upcoming
for them. In a mediumship session, we connect with loved
(08:20):
ones in spirit and then I can also do a
psychic reading at the same time, but I just have
to do that preparation. So they need if they have
the intention to talk to a loved one, it needs
to be a mediumship session that they book.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
One question I have that I find to be so
interesting is you know, when you are hearing some voices
or seeing these images, how do you distinguish what's your
own thoughts versus what's coming in through spirit?
Speaker 3 (08:47):
Is it easy for you to tell a difference.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
When I'm working in session with someone, It's easy for
me to tell the difference because I also request that
my field of and field of energy is reserved for
that experience with that client. So it's sort of like
I have to calm my mind almost like you do
(09:11):
with a meditation, so that you can stay focused in
the present moment and in that experience.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
Got it.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
Learning how to trust those things that loved ones and
spirit show me that is something that did take time.
That was you know, just like with any skill, the
more you practice it, the better you get at it.
So learning not to question myself or doubt myself and
communicate a sign from a loved one, even if it
(09:39):
initially doesn't seem to make sense. I find that every
time I say it and it's a weird thing, the
client can absolutely confirm it. So I've had things as
strange as someone come through and say, here, this thing
(10:00):
connects the two of us. This is our favorite thing.
We always used to make these special Greek cookies together.
I didn't know that my client was Greek. She didn't
even give me her last name. This was in a
party actually that I was booked for, and I said,
I see your grandmother making these Greek cookies with you
(10:21):
and they're called kulakia. I'm Greek and she gassed and
she's like, we did used to make those all the time.
And I said, oh, are you Greach and she's like, yes,
that's my yah. Yeah. So then that from that point,
because she felt safe and she knew that I really
was connected with her grandmother, because how else how would
I know Greek cookies connected these two people. The communication
(10:44):
then opened up a lot easier because she was then
in a more trusting space, more open and receiving.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
Yeah, so interesting, what do you have any I mean,
this is such a great example, any other kind of
wild examples, things where maybe someone was unsure of and
then you know, later on they came back and were like,
actually you were dead on the money with X y Z.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
I mean, does that happen quite a bit?
Speaker 2 (11:11):
It does happen pretty often. I do suggest to my
clients that they record the session if they have the
ability to, because I do the majority of my work
is on the phone, So if they can record it,
then they can go back to it and review it,
because what happens in a session is sometimes the information
comes pretty fast and they can't always confirm it, especially
(11:34):
if I'm talking about a generation or two before they
were born. A lot of times I'll bring through a
great grandparent and they will give specific information. There's one
case where the woman did get back to me and
say that I was right. I said that I saw
a great grandmother and that she had a horse, and
(11:56):
that there was just one horse, and she had a
very strong connection to this horse and two dogs and
a cat, and it looked like it was in a
foreign country. It looked to me like it was European.
She's like, I don't know anything about my great grandmother,
you know, And then she went and confirmed with the
family and there are stories after stories of her great
grandmother with the horse.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
Wow ba lah right, Like that's kind of a light
bulb right there for the family.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
That's really cool exactly, and that they she had never
met her great grandmother. So you know, that's the other
thing too, is that we get these reminders that we
have a soul group that we are part of. It's
not just this one lifetime the the lineage, the family tree,
and then all the branches, like we're connected to all
of them and we have things in common with family
(12:43):
members we never met, and it's not just DNA.
Speaker 1 (12:46):
You know. Yeah, it's very cool.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
It is really cool.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
When you were growing up, were there anything that you
did to practice this skill set? I know in the
past we talked and I think our first episode about
some of those things that you and your mom would
do from like the psychic standpoint, But when it comes
to the mediumship side, you know, what did you do
to really enhance this gift.
Speaker 2 (13:10):
With the mediumship? It's almost like graduating from the psychic
games that she and I would play, graduating from grade
school to college level. So it's learning to listen deeper,
it's learning to feel deeper and learning to ask better questions.
(13:34):
So part of what goes on with me when I'm
doing a mediumship session, and I'm sure with a lot
of other mediums, is that we have an internal conversation
that we're having with the loved one and spirit. We're
not saying those things out loud, but we're having a conversation.
I know this may sound crazy, but so I'm communicating
(13:56):
and asking, Okay, give me more, give me more, a
description of who you are so that she can hear you,
let me know. You know, she the client can hear
you and understand that it's you. What is it that
you have to share today? And those are the types
of things that I would work with my mom on.
It isn't that we would necessarily call in loved ones
(14:18):
to talk to, but she would talk to me about
her methods as well of how she would do it,
which is similar to how I do it. I also
feel like it's important to share this part that when
I'm connecting with loved ones and spirit, I also have
the support of my spirit team on the other side.
(14:40):
So that means my ancestors who've gone on before me
will come in and help me out.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
So just like I would ask, right if we are
going through something tough and we need like a sign
from our loved ones that have passed, you know, I
think it's a similar thing too.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
It is, it is, And sometimes my my spirit team
will help me clear up a message that maybe I
initially won't understand. Like sometimes I'll see something like a
specific vegetable, but it's not connected to anything else. So
they're trying to communicate something, but they're not putting anything
(15:18):
around it. Rather than saying I'm the person who made
the tomato soup, they just show me a tomato and
that I can get more clarity with my spirit team
if I need to, or I ask for more clarity. Yeah,
it's really interesting. I also, at the beginning of a
session will ask only for the name of the person
(15:40):
that they wish to connect with and their relationship. And
I think that's really important for people, no matter what
medium they're going to go to, is to not give
a lot of detail, only give the name and the relationship.
You don't need to provide a picture, you don't need
to provide a backstory. Is the less you give, the
(16:02):
more you will see how much spirit can actually do yeah,
you know how mamach they can share with you and
prove to you that they're actually still with you and watching.
And that's one of the things they like to bring
through our loved ones, like to bring up experiences that
you've recently had. Like they'll point out, Hey, I was
just at the party for a baby shower, or you know,
(16:26):
for a wedding. I was just there, I saw that
you were wearing this dress, or thank you for honoring
me at your wedding. I saw the chair that you
put out for me, or whatever. I mean. They want
to confirm that they're still popping in when you need them,
which I think is beautiful.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
Yeah, And I think that's probably also really helpful for
people who have like a first time session that are
you know, somewhat skeptic, right, and they're like, is this real?
Or did I give too much info? Or are they
just reach in or guessing or are they just hitting
broad topics? So I think giving as little as possible
also gives them that own kind of comfort that you know,
who you're connecting with is really their their past loved one.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
Definitely, And you know, one of the most common questions
that I get asked about their loved one and spirit
from the client is are they okay? And they are?
Like when when someone crosses over, they don't carry with
them the physical challenges that they had, life gets lighter
(17:29):
and better for them. Their soul's journey lightens them. In
most cases, from what I have seen, I've been lucky
to connect with souls that lighten up when they cross over.
They frequently show me their version of themselves, like their
eternal version how they view themselves. So if someone crosses
(17:51):
over and they're ninety eight years old, they may show
themselves to me when they were their happiest at like
age thirty six, and they'll leave it and give me
like the outfit that they're wearing for their eternal selves.
And a lot of times the client can confirm, oh,
I have a picture of my grandmother, my grandfather wearing
(18:11):
that outfit that you're describing. Wow, yeah, it's really cool.
Speaker 3 (18:16):
It is cool.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
And so when someone has a session with you, like
you said, you open up with you know who they
want to connect with and like the name and relationship.
Are there any other things that you recommend for someone
who wants to have a session, like how to prep
for it?
Speaker 2 (18:31):
Absolutely sometimes, actually often, I suggest that they have a
picture of their loved one with them, or an item
from their loved one with them, so that they can
spend a few moments reflecting on their relationship and connecting
and asking that loved one to come through so that
that loved one will hear them and they'll know that
(18:54):
they can trust me too, you know. So it's getting
in that mindset so they can move there nerves out
of the way and they can set the stage for
a better experience by by being present with their loved
one even before I pick up the phone and call them.
Speaker 1 (19:11):
Yeah, you're probably They're already probably there right before you
even give the phone a rand, you know, so they're
already sitting next to them or you know, with you
on the line.
Speaker 3 (19:19):
So that's so cool.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
Yeah, it's I think I've only had one time where
it took a few minutes to connect with someone just
because they kind of weren't in a trusting space yet.
But most of the time, if my clients focused on
their loved one who they want to connect with, I
can connect pretty fast.
Speaker 1 (19:41):
So cool, amazing anything else around the mediumship, Pandora, you
want to share, well.
Speaker 2 (19:50):
I think this part is interesting, at least I've always
found it interesting, is that the people who you sometimes
expect are going to hang out together on the other
side may not. So sometimes people get really disappointed that
there hasn't been some magical reconnection between their mother and
(20:13):
father on the other side. Sometimes right, but yeah, sometimes
those two people have more work to do with other
people in their soul group, so they will initially reconnect,
but then they will kind of go their separate ways.
So there's healing that has to happen generationally, there's healing
(20:36):
that has to happen with the other souls in the
soul group. So they aren't always going to hang out
with who we would think that they would, either their
partner or their bestie, you know.
Speaker 1 (20:46):
But I do.
Speaker 2 (20:48):
Really enjoy when I'm shown who they're hanging out with,
because sometimes then once the initial shock wears off, it
does make sense who they're choosing to hang out with.
I had a client whose grandmother she was sure was
going to be going right to her husband, and instead
she went to a table full of her other three
(21:10):
besties who she hadn't seen. These were ladies who were
her best friends in high school. She hadn't seen some
of them for twenty thirty years, but they all reunited
and they were just hanging out around the table like
they would have at a kitchen table. You could miss
them so much, you know. So it's stuff like that.
It's it's really it's heartwarming, you know, and it does
(21:32):
bring a sense of peace. But just to remember, if
you're going to a medium, have some other questions too,
because they will help you from the other side of
you know, like you haven't seen your mother in thirty years,
you want to ask her opinion about something. They will
share an opinion, okay, because.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
Whether you want it or not. Right, sometimes what you
say I.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
Don't like when they were here, Yes, exactly.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
Yeah, that's really cool, I bete you. The personalities are
probably the funnest thing to kind of witness, is you know.
I'm sure some people who are feisty in the physical
world they are probably still feisty in the spirit world.
So that is really cool.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
They are, They definitely are, and even some people, Yeah,
the personality does not change. They don't just become angelic.
And you know, harps are playing around them. You know,
they're not Caribs.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
What do you mean?
Speaker 2 (22:27):
I know? Right, fly right in that story. But yeah,
but they are still who they were in most cases.
Speaker 3 (22:37):
Yeah, that's really cool.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
All right, Well, are we ready for maybe a little
card poll?
Speaker 3 (22:41):
Do you have one handy?
Speaker 2 (22:43):
Of course, I'm gonna pull a card today from my
first deck, the Pandora's Box of Cards. It's an Oracle deck.
And I'm just I'm looking for and I always ask
when I'm shuffling, what's in our highest and best what
we need to know now and if there's potentially anything
we need to work on since we're, you know, moving
(23:05):
into the autumn season. Yep, okay, here we go.
Speaker 3 (23:11):
Ooh, what do we got?
Speaker 2 (23:14):
We got labyrinth and it says contemplation On the card
there's a picture of a labyrinth.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
Hold on, didn't we just talk about a labyrinth last night?
Speaker 2 (23:25):
We did just talk about a labyrinth last night. Isn't
that funny?
Speaker 1 (23:27):
Oh? My god, go figure, Yes, that's hysterical.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
I have a friend with a labyrinth tattoo, and we
used to sit and draw because he showed me how
to draw a labyrinth. We used to sit and draw
them together. Anyway, those were many years ago, and I'm
glad that he showed up again. So this card it's
all about contemplation, and I think fall is a season
(23:52):
of contemplation. So if you're on this side of the
planet where you're in the fall, this is a great
card for you. It's a good reminder that we can
go internal a little bit, do some review. Look back
over the last six months, since the last equinox, since
the spring equinox. What is it that you have learned,
(24:16):
What is it that you don't want to repeat? Patterns
that you can release right now, things that may be
weighing you down. Remember you know, in the fall, the
leaves fall off the trees, So think about that as
the patterns or the habits that you may want to
also release for yourself and then make space for new
(24:38):
good patterns to come in. So I always think about
contemplation and then releasing in the fall as a better
time than January first to make new habits happen, because
the habits that we make on you know, New Year's Resolution,
first day of the year don't usually. But when we
(25:01):
make space first in the fall, then there is a
lot of space for new habits to take root. I
like it, okay, So I love that. I really do
think that's a great card. For us, and I do
know that for right now. The other thing is I
(25:22):
always pick up on like crystal energy or mineral energy
for healing and going along with this one because of
the idea of release and also grounding, smoky quarts would
be a great stone to keep with you. You could
carry it with you as you're walking out in the
(25:42):
fall watching the leaves fall, literally and hold it and
visualize all of your worries releasing from you, even going
out through the bottom of your feet back to the
center of the earth.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
I will have to go find mine. I think actually
might be by my nightstand. I always have a smoky
court around them, because yeah, it is one of my
favorite crystals to have as well.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
So yeah, I find them really comforting.
Speaker 1 (26:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
Actually when you're doing the releasing.
Speaker 1 (26:08):
And it's kind of a gentle energy to a gentle
grounding versus some other ones that are really very hard.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
So oh versus black tourmaline, that's like.
Speaker 1 (26:17):
Oh god, I wasn't gonna say it, but yeah, that
one's real, like kicking the ass one.
Speaker 2 (26:22):
It is. I mean, there's a time and a place
for it. I have black fermiline and I do use it,
but Molkie quartzes might go to for protection and grounding
and release. So I love it, and I know we
haven't mentioned it yet, but I'm going to mention it
shameless self plug. My website is Pandora p dot com
(26:45):
to find out any more about either mediumship sessions. I
get greetings to check out the oracle decks all the
fun things. And I have guided meditations as well. I
didn't mention that earlier, but meditation would be a great
thing to kind of bring in as a new practice
or habit in the fall as well, once you release
(27:06):
the worry and make space for it.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
Yeah, and it's like you said, a good habit maybe
to start now. So if you always wanted to get
into meditation instead of waiting till January first, maybe something
you want to try out and get started doing that.
So yeah, that's.
Speaker 2 (27:20):
Absolutely because we got to take care of ourselves.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
First, oh man. Always self care is a is a
constant thing.
Speaker 2 (27:28):
So yes, yes, yes, well this was great. Thank you, Steph,
thank you.
Speaker 1 (27:34):
I appreciate your time. Thank you everyone for listening, and
I hope you learned something I know I did. And
until next time, enjoy your team. Thank you
