Anne Whitby is a Fellow of the Society of Technical Analysts and a former Chair of the Society, as well as having served on the board of the International Federation of Technical Analysts. Anne discusses joining David Fuller at Chart Analysis Ltd. in London as her first job, and then forging her career in the City as a top notch technical analyst. Anne also set up the new technical research department at 4Cast in the mid-1990's. Anne helped run ACTA in the early days (precursor of the STA) and while serving as Chair of the STA the formalised courses for the Diploma examination were started at South Bank University.
