SPEAKER_00 (00:18):
Wow, what a journey
it's been.
When I started the Stellar TalkShow just 11 months ago, 26
episodes ago, I had only twosubscribers.
Probably my daughter and myhusband.
But today we are closing ourseason fun with over 30,000
subscribers and a communitythat's growing every single day.
(00:42):
And that number isn't just amilestone, it's a reminder that
stories matter.
30,000 hearts, minds, andstories connected to this
mission of real stories, realstrategy, real success.
This isn't just my win, it's ourwin.
Every guest who sat in thischair, every viewer who watched
(01:06):
from home, every story thattouched her heart, you made this
possible.
I can't even begin to tell youwhat this means to me from the
bottom of my heart.
Thank you.
Today's episode is a little bitdifferent.
(01:26):
It's just me.
No guest, no script, just truth.
I want to share what thisjourney means to me, why I
started Stella Talk Show, andwhat I've learned not just about
success, but also about myself.
People often ask me, Stella, whydid you start the Stella Talk
(01:46):
Show?
You're already an award-winningrealtor.
Why add this?
And my answer has always beenvery simple.
It's because stories matter.
I wanted to give a voice to realpeople with real stories.
I wanted to show that successisn't a straight line, it's made
(02:10):
of struggles, failure, faith,and fight.
And honestly, it came from adeep place in my heart.
I've always believed thatstories can heal, inspire, and
connect us.
And I wanted to create a spacewhere real people could share
real journeys.
(02:31):
Growing up in Sri Lanka, I had ablessed beginning.
Loving parents, laughter, and ahome full of warmth.
But life had other plans.
Losing both my parents at a veryyoung age shattered that world.
As an only child, I suddenlyfound myself alone, bouncing
(02:52):
from one relative's home toanother, searching for
belonging, for stability, forsomething that felt like home.
It wasn't easy.
But looking back now, I realizedthat that's where I built my
(03:12):
strategy for life.
My confidence didn't come fromcomfort, it came from survival.
I learned to plan, to trust myinstinct, and to never stop
believing that I was meant formore.
I learned very early on that ifI didn't believe in myself, no
(03:33):
one else could do it for me.
That belief, that fire, is whatcreated the Stella Talk Show.
A space to remind you that yourstory matters, your voice
matters, and you, you matter.
As a little girl, all I everwanted was stability.
(03:53):
I wanted to know what it feltlike to come home to the same
front door every day to have aroom that didn't change every
few months.
Moving from home to home, it waspainful, but in those
challenges, I found my purpose.
Education became my rope, thething I held on to when life
(04:14):
felt like a straw.
And even though I didn't know itthen, I was creating a strategy
to win at this game of life.
A plan built on confidence, faith, and persistence.
It became my foundation, my wayout.
With no parents to guide me, Ihad to figure it all out by
(04:35):
myself, choosing the good fromthe bad, counting my blessings,
trusting myself and learningthat every struggle was shaping
me into what I was really meantto be.
I'll be honest, there were timeswhen I doubted myself.
Times when I was made to feelsmall, unworthy, unseen.
(04:57):
But you know what changedeverything?
When I stopped waiting forpermission to shine, I realized
that the only limits that trulyexist are the ones we place on
ourselves.
Once I broke those beliefs, onceI started owning who I am, life
opened up in ways I could neverimagine.
(05:21):
I took ownership of my story.
I broke those limiting beliefsand turned them into lessons.
That's when everything changedin my life, in my mindset and in
my purpose.
I realized I wasn't justsurviving anymore.
I was thriving.
(05:42):
Through this journey, hard workand faith, I eventually made my
way to Canada, to Mississauga, where I bought my first home in
2008.
That day, when I held the keysin my hand, it wasn't just a
house, it was healing.
It was proof that I could turnpain into purpose.
(06:08):
That's why I chose real estatebecause as a little girl, I
craved for stability, and as awoman, I wanted to create that
for others.
Every family I help, everyperson I guide to their dream
home.
It's more than just atransaction, it's a legacy.
(06:29):
Real estate came into my lifenot just as a career, it was a
calling.
For me, helping families find aplace to call home, it's deeply
personal because I know whatit's like to not have one.
I know what it means to finallyfeel safe, seen, and settled.
And that's why I do what I do.
(06:51):
Real estate for me isn't just acareer, it's a purpose.
Every family I help, everyperson I guide, it's it's like
I'm helping that little girl whoonce longed for a place to
belong.
At stellarproperties.ca, wedon't just sell homes, we build
foundations that last.
Every key I hand over isn't justa transaction, it's a
(07:15):
transformation.
A family stepping into theirnext chapter.
And that joy fills my heart withpurpose every single time.
And that same passion is what Ibring here to the Stellar Talk
Show (07:29):
a place to educate,
empower, and uplift everyone
through real stories thatmatters.
This season has been nothingshort of extraordinary.
We sat down with entrepreneurs, mothers, artists, community
leaders, and survivors, all withone thing in common.
(07:51):
Resilience.
We learned that success has nostraight path.
It bends, it breaks, itrebuilds.
We talked about mindset, money, mentorship, and motivation.
And every story brought alesson.
The biggest takeaway?
Know what you want in life.
It's okay to change the plan afew times, but never lose sight
(08:15):
of your goal.
When I started the Stellar TalkShow, I wanted to go beyond
homes and houses.
I wanted to build a home forstories, a space where people
could open up about their wins, their struggles, their
strategies, and their truths.
This season we've had incredibleguests, people who turned pain
(08:38):
into power and dreams intodirection.
And every single story remindedme of one thing.
No matter where you start, whatmatters most is how you rise.
Every guest who came on thisshow believed in me, in this
mission, and for that I'mendlessly grateful.
(09:00):
And to all my incredible guests, thank you for your courage and
your trust.
And to my stellar team, myfamily, the amazing people
behind the scenes who makesevery episode possible.
You are my rock stars.
Thank you for believing in meand standing with me through
every take, every late night, every idea.
(09:23):
None of this would have beenpossible without you.
You believed in me when this wasjust a dream, and now we are
building something truly specialtogether.
If there's one thing I'velearned through this journey,
it's that we all fight silentbattles.
(09:43):
Sometimes we hide behind fear, sometimes behind perfection.
But the truth is, when you stophiding and start owning your
story, everything changes.
Don't wait for the perfect time.
Don't overplan your dreams.
Take action today.
Remember these four stellarrules.
(10:06):
Number one, it's okay to changethe plan a few times, as long as
you never lose sight of yourgoal.
Number two, mentorship, mindset,and strategy.
They are your anchors.
Number three, working onyourself isn't selfish.
It's necessary.
Number four, if there isn't aseat for you at the table, don't
(10:28):
be afraid to build your own.
Once you break through limitingbeliefs and stop dimming your
life for others, you realize thepossibilities are limitless.
To everyone watching orlistening to this right now,
maybe you're doubting yourself.
Maybe you're on your own seasonof struggle.
(10:49):
I want you to hear this from me.
You are not broken, you arebecoming.
Keep showing up for yourself, even on the hard days, because
you are the author of yourstory.
You are the hero of your movie, and you are meant to shine.
Create your legacy with pride.
(11:12):
Leave a story that's worthsharing.
