Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hello, everyone, Welcome back to the TCMs Talk. Today's episode
is one I've been looking forward to sharing with you.
You know, we're gonna be diving deep into what I'm
bringing as the theme blessed as it is to be blessed. See,

(00:23):
we're gonna explore what is truly or what it truly
means to be blessed, how we can recognize blessings in
our lives, and how we can become a blessing to others.
And of course we'll be rounding our conversation and the
wisdom of the Bible. So let's settle in, take a

(00:47):
deep breath, and open our hearts to this message. First off,
who want to know what does it mean to be blessed?
When we hear the words blessed? What comes to mind?
For some it's material things, a new job, a nice home,

(01:13):
good health. For other it's the intangible peace, love, joy,
and purpose. The Bible gives us a rich understanding of
what it means to be blessed.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
So let's start.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
With Psalms one, one, two, three, and let me look
somems uh one uh. We want to do one uh
one through three, and what we want to understand is

(02:08):
that sums one, one, two, three, one through three. It
tells us blessed is the one who does not walk
and step with the wicked, or stand in the way
that sinners take, or sit in company of markers, but

(02:31):
who's delight is in the law of the Lord, and
who meditates on his law day and night. See this
Scriptures reminds us that true blessings come from our relationship
with God and our commitment to living according to his words.

(02:54):
It's about how being rooted. It's all about being rooted
and nursed and truthful no matter what happens around us.
So we got to always stay rooted and committed to
living according to his word.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
So we want to also, you know.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Like recognize and blessings in our everyday life. Sometimes we
overlook the blessings that's right in front of us. We
tend to get caught up and what we lack instead

(03:36):
of what we have, and we want to look at
James one in seventeen. It states that every good gift
and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from
the Fathers, the Father of lights, with whom there is

(03:59):
no variations or shadow do to change. So take a
moment to reflect what are the good and perfect gifts
in your life right now. Maybe it's your family, your health, talents,
or just simply the gift of a new day. See

(04:20):
gratitude opens our eyes to the blessings we already have.
So again we go here blessed to be a blessing.
One of the most powerful truths and the Bible is

(04:43):
that we are blessed so that we can bless others.
And that is so true. That's why God gives us
these talents and stuff that we can use, and we
can use to bless others. Seeing Genesis twelve and two,
the records of God's.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Promise to Abraham, and.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
That said, you know, God told him, I will make
you into a great nation and will bless you. I
will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.

(05:32):
And God's blessings are never meant to stop with us.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
They're meant to flow through through us.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
When we share what we have, our time, our resources,
our encouragement, we become channels of God's love in the world.
So asks how can we bless us? Let's get how

(06:01):
can we be a blessing to those around us? Here
are a few ways. Number one, speak life proverbs eighteen
twenty one says the tongue has the power of life
and death. Use your words to encourage an uplift and inspire.

(06:22):
Number two Show kindness. Epheasians four thirty two urges us
be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiven each other
just as in Christ, God forgive you. Small acts of
kindness can make a big difference. Three we can give generously.

(06:47):
Tewod Corinthius nine and seven reminds us each of you
should give what you have decided in your heart to give,
not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerfugiver.
Whether it's your time, whether it's your talents or your resources,

(07:08):
give it a joyful heart.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
Number four let's pray for others.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
And James five sixteen says, pray for each other so
that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous
person is powerful and effective. Never underestimate the power of
lifting someone up in prayer. Pray for one another. Five

(07:38):
serve humblely so in Mark ten forty five tells us
for even the son of Man did not come to
be served, but to serve and to give his life
as a restom for many. Look for ways to serve others,
just as Jesus served.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Man. Amen. Now just look at a personal reflection.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
A time.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
Was a time I was.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
Blessed to be a blessing. There was a time when
I was struggling emotionally and financially, and out of the blue,
a friend reached out often helped without expecting anything return.
See that kind of that act of kindness, you know,

(08:40):
it kind of helped me. It lifted my spirits and
reminded me of God's faithfulness. So when I was later
on in a better place, I was able to help
someone else in need. See that's the beautiful cycle of blessing.
We receive and then we give.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Amen.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
But see, you got to keep on blessing people. And
how can you bless or you see blessings in difficult times.
We know it's easy to feel blessed when life is good,
but what about when we're facing challenges?

Speaker 2 (09:25):
You know?

Speaker 1 (09:26):
So Matthew five three and ten, You know, if you know,
Matthew five three and ten, which known as the Beatitudes,
teaches us that even in hardship, we are blessed. H
Jesus reminds us that God's blessing often come in unexpected

(09:50):
and unexpected ways through comfort, mercies, and hope in the
midst of trials. Now, look, let let's let's let's ask
some questions. Ah, how do you know if you're truly blessed?

(10:21):
Ask yourself, how do I know if I'm truly blessed?
Being blessed isn't always about material things. It's about having
God's presence, peace and purpose in your life. If you
have love, hope and faith, guess what you're blessed? Ask

(10:43):
yourself this, What if I don't feel blessed right now? Well,
it's normal to go through seasons where blessings are hard
to see, and those times focus on gratitude for the
small things and true us that God is working behind
the scenes. See in Romans age twenty eight, it says,

(11:06):
and we know that in all things God works for
the good of those who love him.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
Amen.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
Now let's ask ourself to how can I be a
blessing if I don't have much to give? Well, you
don't need a lot to make a difference. Sometimes a smile,
a kind word, or listening the ear. It's the greatest
blessing you can offer. Remember the widow was offering in

(11:39):
Mark twelve forty one through forty four. Not she gave
just two small coins, but Jesus said she gave more
than anyone else because she gave from her heart. You know,
we also need to ask ourselves this too. Can blessings

(12:02):
come through challenges? Absolutely, some of the greatest blessings come
through our struggles. You know. They teach us to have
a to be, to teach us to deepen our faith
and prepare us to help others going through some similar trials.

(12:27):
So I want to say this as we wrap up
today's episode. Remember you are blessed, not just for your
own sake, but so you can be a blessing to others.
Look for opportunities to share what you have, encourage those

(12:48):
around you, and trust that God's blessings will continue to
flow in your life. So what we want to do
is I want to close with We're gonna go to
a scripture and we're gonna go to Numbers, chapter six,

(13:18):
verse twenty four through twenty six, and it tells us
the Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord makes
his face shine on you and be gracious to you.

(13:41):
The Lord turns his face towards you and give you peace. Now,
such a beautiful blessing from scripture, and I want to
read that again, Number six twenty four twenty six NIV version,

(14:03):
The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make
his face shine on you and be gracious to you.
The Lord turned his face towards you, and guess what
and give you peace.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
Man. That's beautiful.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
Thank you for joining me on the TCMs talk show.
If this episode touched your heart, share it with someone
who needs encouragement today. And I always remember one of
my favorite Matthew eighteen and twenty but where two or

(14:42):
three are gathered together in my name, there I am
in the midst of them until the next time. Keep
counting your blessing and keep opening being a blessing.
