than one. The biggest shadows in the
coaching and personal development industry, what I believe is the manipulative pitch,
right? The event culture that's not just outdated,

it's borderline abusive. Yep, I said it. So let's talk about it.
So let me paint you a picture because if you've been in the personal development world
for more than a hot minute, you've probably, actually
you've definitely been here. You buy a ticket to
a personal development event that promises you
transformation. Maybe it was $27, maybe

it was $97, maybe it was somewhere in between, maybe it was even free.
And you walk in with an open heart, a lot of excitement, a big
yes in your body and your heart, and the hope that you're
going to get a breakthrough, something's going to shift, you get to implement something. But
instead of being led, instead of actually getting value,
you get played. For the next three, four, five, six hours, you

get 90 minutes of the speaker's life
story, snore. Maybe an hour of
vague value, not actually how to implement anything. And
then bam, the hard pitch, slide after slide, value
stack after value stack, scarcity, NLP tricks,
the whole fucking thing. And they call it feminine sales, but

it's not. It's conversion manipulation.
It's shame-based marketing, and they're calling it empowerment. And
I'm fucking over it. Let me
be clear. If you're going to pitch, then pitch. If
you're going to sell, then fucking sell. I don't have a problem with that. But

don't wrap it up in the language of embodied leadership.
If what you're actually doing Is bulldozing someone's
nervous system just for them to say yes and for you to get the sale?
Because here's the truth. Manipulating someone into a
decision they weren't ready for is not actually leadership. It's
bypassing. It's distortion. And it actually creates more

the next shady shit that I reckon is going on in the industry. Faulty
fucking codes. Yep, I said it. People sharing
faulty fucking codes. What does this mean? I
see coaches like, I'm a wealth coach, I'm a money coach with fucking $2 in

their fucking bank account or struggling, right, financially. People
teaching feminine embodiment who can't even hold themselves in a single emotion.
Coaches saying you just need to believe more while secretly they
are drowning in like, scarcity
and have no self-belief or panicking to pay rent or their own coach. That's
not embodiment. That's blatant fucking lying. And

I'm not saying you have to be perfect to lead or
even rich to lead or even nothing, but don't sell
what you haven't integrated. Because when you share from a frequency
that's not embodied, it's sending a mixed signal to
the field, and it's out of alignment, it's out of integrity. And your clients are going to feel that,
your audience is going to feel that, your sales are going to drop, your launches are going to fail, your

confidence dips, and suddenly you're wondering why the fuck it's not landing and
nothing's working. The reason that I make sales so easily, because
I truly believe, as arrogant as it sounds, I am a walking, talking, living
fucking embodiment of what I preach. Right? And that's
why it's so easy for me to make money, because I'm
in integrity. And here's some vulnerable real talk when it comes
to selling from stage, by the way. I've tried selling from stage.

This is super vulnerable for me to share. I've tried selling from stage the
way I was told to. At Made for Millions, my huge event last year,
I had my incredible friend, Natalie, pitch my program for
me from stage in front of over just under 500 people.
And guess what? It fucking flopped. hard, not because
Natalie wasn't amazing. She's great at selling from SAGE. She

is. But because I was trying to do it the way
I was told to do. And that way wasn't
my way. Because I don't buy from fear. I don't respond to
urgency. I don't make decisions from a place of pressure. So how
could I ever sell from that space? It was out
of integrity for me. It was out of alignment with

my values. And truthfully, That flop was
one of the best fucking blessings that ever happened to me because
it brought me back to my truth and it reminded me that I don't want to lead like that.
I don't want to scale like that. I don't want to sell like that. I don't
want to have my first $7 million month like that. I don't want to manipulate people into
saying yes. I want it to be clean. I want

to be chosen because it's an empowered full
body yes. I'm going to go even more deep here,
and I don't know why I'm feeling called to share this, but I am. I know
a lot of us are going to be watching this being like, Alex is having a dig at X,
Y, Z. I'm really not. I'm really not. Everyone's just doing the
best they can. I'm saying what I don't

agree with, and I'm allowed to because it's my fucking podcast. and

don't know if it's just in the Australian coaching industry or if one
person came up with it and one coach is teaching everyone how to do it. And

this line is so psychologically clever. And
it was basically like, in order to create the, you know, let's just say I'm
selling the 5D lifestyle. In order to get the 5D lifestyle, you
need to get 5D activated or New Earth activated. The
only way to get New Earth activated is through insert

my program name. So it's like, there's this template line
of like, the only, you need to get something activated.
And the only way to get insert something activated is
through insert your program name. What is
not true about that that is the only way? What, the
only way for you to become New Earth Activated is through my fucking offerings

and codes? What bullshit? How many New
Earth leaders are doing incredible things? How many programs are
out there that will help you raise your consciousness? They might not do
it my way, but it's New Earth. Like, and who am I to say
that the only way to get New Earth Activated Right?
Or 5D activated is through my 5DU program. Like,

I might obnoxiously think that. I might think I have the best
fucking program in the world. Which
by the way, if you don't think that, there's work to do there. But
I just, I have a problem with that line. Cause it's fucking bullshit.
You're like, you're literally saying lies to
your audience. Why? Why stoop to that level?

No, I'm not. I want to be chosen from
my clients because they feel an empowered full
body yes. Not cause I'm trying to trickery and wizard them with
some fucking NLP language. And not because I created

that means I make less money, so be it. Yeah, I probably do make less
money than what I could. I probably do convert a lot less in my events than
I do. But you know what? Here's the thing. When
I refused to stop selling from pressure
and I started selling from truth, my sales actually
went to the next level. And it wasn't because I was faking it

till I made it or trying to prove like, Hey, I'm this coach
making this money. But because I was finally living and breathing what I
teach on an even deeper level, right? Your codes, meaning your
personal energetic frequency, is your currency. Your codes are your
currency. Your integrity is fucking magnetic and your
authentic truth is the thing that builds trust with your
audience over time. Remember that your business gets

to be your playground, your sovereign grid. You
don't need to sell like them. You don't need to copy that fucking 47-step slideshow
webinar funnel. You don't need to handle objections if
it makes you cringe. And you get to decide, like, is this
my truth? Do I actually need to up-level here in a skill set? Or,
like, is this actually not in alignment with me and I need to listen to

my soul right now? Because the truth is you get to sell in a way that
feels delicious in your body. You get to build a business
that reflects your truth. Right? Because when you're
in alignment, money, clients, business growth
just becomes the natural byproduct of you being in alignment. And
when you build from truth, trust ripples.
