Pino D'Angiò meet 400 by Nicola Gatta
Tommaso and Victoria are going old school today, back to the days of chain smoking and cool-guy glasses. Victoria’s music choice for today’s episode is Pino D'Angiò, one of the most renowned Italian singers in the world. He made his debut in 1979 and has recently made a comeback. Tommaso has paired this singer with 400, a Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, extra brut. Named after the 40 moons of maturation (about 40 months), a blend that evolves on the nose, and is dry and explosive on the palate.
Follow co co-host Tommaso Canella. Tommaso is part of the third generation of Casa Vinicola Canella, founded in 1947. Tommaso, 28, joined the company in 2017 and is in charge of communication, marketing and foreign markets. When Tommaso is not busy in the winery he is listening to music and enjoying a great bottle of wine.
Follow co-host Victoria Cece (aka Slutti Spaghetti). Victoria is a spirited writer with a love of storytelling. Her career focuses on sharing and promoting the stories of small food and beverage producers, through creative writing and content strategy services. When it comes to her passion, there’s nothing that she loves more than food and wine which is why when she is not busy writing about food and wine, she is tasting all the delectable dishes that Italy has to offer, and pairing them with great wine!
