The Called Out Podcast
Hi, I’m Marissa McGinty! My goal with this podcast is to help answer hard questions that might be keeping people from going all in with a relationship with Jesus. I also want to help burdened Christians who maybe are too ashamed to ask questions because they feel as a Christian, “they should just know these things”. God doesn’t expect us to understand it all. After all, our God is so big! (our everlasting father and creator!) But with this podcast, I pray God would speak through me to reach others and bring them to Christ.

Something I have been wrestling with lately was the doubt that I wasn’t saved. But, God has shown me something beautiful about Salvation that I feel Called Out to show you. I’m going to walk you through three truths that have helped me these past few weeks. It’s not about what we’ve done, but what He’s done.
A question I see a lot from Christians (especially my age) is questions such as:
“Can Christians cuss?”
“How can I show Jesus to my friends?”
Words are so much more powerful than we imagine. We need to point our words to Jesus and reflect how He would speak.
How can I do that? Let’s find out!
A very common question Christians are asked is:
“hey, why do you love Jesus so much?” or “what has He ever done for you?”
Your testimony is the answer to that question. A testimony is your story on how Jesus has saved you. It’s a spiritual encounter with the Lord. I believe the best way to kick off this podcast is to share my story. My encounter. In this episode, I will be sharing my testimony. How has God called you out?
