MAGA: Stop Promoting Socialism (or at least State Capitalism)

MAGA loves to chant “America will never be a socialist country,” but their policies are starting to look a lot like the very thing they claim to hate. From Trump’s new tariffs on steel and aluminum to Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick’s proposal for the government to buy a stake in Intel, the so-called champions of capitalism are pushing America toward state ownership and economic nationalism.

Even conservatives like Erick Erickson are calling it what it is: socialism dressed up in patriotic language.
