When your results inevitably show "elevated levels," suddenly your routine cleaning transforms into an expensive periodontal treatment plan – complete with scaling, root planing, medicated rinses, and multiple follow-up appointments. Six months later, they charge you for another test that typically shows little improvement, perpetuating the treatment cycle.

What dental chains won't tell you is that these tests lack FDA approval for dental diagnostics. In my most shocking discovery, we tested the mouth rinse solution alone – without any human saliva whatsoever – and it returned a positive result with a concerning marker score of 13. Corporate dental chains lovethis test why?

normal probe depths of 2 or 3 mmmillimeters, into high-risk
cases overnight.
Suddenly, you're not just therefor a cleaning, you're there

extra billing.
It's a beautiful upsell machine.

The corporate dental chainsoften offer AMMP8 tests for free

How generous, right Until sixmonths later, when you come back
and they charge you $30 for aretest and guess what?

Because here's the kicker thesetests they're not FDA approved
for dentistry.
As of now, the American DentalAssociation itself notes that no
saliva-based periodontalscreening has formal FDA

They wrap it in scientificlanguage, they position it as
preventative care.
They use it as a weapon of fear.
