Speaker 1 (00:01):
What's up, my people?
It's your boy Prophecy herewith another episode of Psalmist
Ciphered.
Let's go.
Let's start with a prayer.
Father, thank you for anotherday.
Thank you for all the blessingsyou give us.
Thank you for always being theguiding light, lord, the light
that shines our path, and foryour forgiveness and mercy.

(00:23):
In the book of Matthew, youtold us many are called but few
are chosen.
I say that for anybody that'slistening to this podcast, to
this episode, that if they feelthat fire that's burning inside
and that calling for them tohave the courage to pursue it in

(00:43):
Jesus name, amen.
I wanted to make this episode topretty much tell you where
we're going to go with this.
From this point forward.
I've been reaching out to a fewpeople.
What I want, and I envisionPsalmist Cypher being, is where
we can share Christian hip-hop,what we like about Christian

(01:06):
hip-hop, the artist, the musicand all of that type of stuff.
Right, the problem I'm havinghere is that most music that we
listen to that's Christianhip-hop, either on Apple or
Spotify or wherever you listento it at is a lot of copyrighted

(01:26):
material, and if you knowanything about podcast, youtube
videos or anything that goesonline, there's a big issue with
copyright.
You know copyrighted material, and the last thing I want is to
cause any problems on thispodcast either.
For myself, have this takendown, because I'm doing

(01:50):
something unethical.
We don't want that.
That's not what I'm trying todo here or what I'm trying to
promote.
So, moving forward, I am goingto be reaching out.
Actually, I like this idea alot better.
All right, I'm going to bereaching out to more of the
amateur Christian hip hopartists.

(02:11):
Yeah, because there's a lot oftalent out there that is trying
to make their come up, or theyjust haven't caught their break
just yet, or they're starting toget the ball rolling and they
will be a little bit moreaccessible for us at Psalm and

(02:35):
Cypher.
Because, to be honest, let's behonest, I'm starting this off
right now too.
So I'm still, you know, dragging my feet through the mud
and stuff like that and tryingto figure things out, and I
think we could help each otherright.
So, any of you Christian hip hopartists, poets, anything of
that sort If you're a creator ofany type of poetry the edgy

(02:58):
poetry I love that stuff, I doit myself and Christian hip-hop
you want to go ahead and reachout to me.
You can reach out to me onFacebook.
That's where I'm most active at, but I am also active on
Instagram, on TikTok, on YouTubeand across anything at Saul

(03:19):
Mesaifer.
All right, so you can find methrough there.
But submit your stuff or reachout to me mainly DM me on
Facebook and we can collab witheach other and get an interview
and show the people you know, the audience, who you are,
showcase your music.
See that that's also a plusright there, because we get the,

(03:42):
the amateurs in right andthey're consenting to to us
putting their music online right, so that's a lot better for us.
We get to hear some music.
We get to comment and and shareand help the artists out right,
it helps the podcast out.

(04:03):
You get to hear good music, allright, and we get to also learn
from this artist.
See what, how was they saved?
What drove them to do hip-hop,christian hip-hop, who's their
favorite rapper?
As a Christian hip-hop artist, rapper, or even outside of it,

(04:25):
who's influenced them?
Because sometimes they get, youknow, sometimes I get
influenced by people who aren'tChristian hip-hop artists,
aren't a Christian hip-hopartist.
So, point being that I want tobe able to bring these people
onto the podcast, so, like thatwe could pick their brain right,
listen to some good music.

(04:46):
Also, I want to include the wordin each episode.
All right, we'll have a piecewhere we go over some scripture
and I want you to be able tocomment how that scripture
affects you or what you havereceived from it.
If you heard it before and, ifnot, if it's new, you could

(05:08):
comment that too.
I want you to be very active.
Put the comments down on theYouTube section, on wherever
you're listening to this at orwatching that.
I'll be sure to respond to asmany comments as possible.
And we're still going to talkabout the more popular hip-hop
artists, all right, because I Ilike a bunch of them, all right.

(05:32):
So I was also thinking and youcan comment on this and tell me
if that's a good idea, if you'reliking the idea or whatever.
Whoever's on the podcast onthat episode will ask them who
their favorite rapper isChristian hip hop artist, right,
and their song will still putthe Spotify list with that song

(05:54):
up.
If you haven't heard it before,so you can still get it, still
provide a value, and I mightcompare their song to another
song or a rapper that I'mfamiliar with.
Put that in the Spotify list, along with their music.
So providing value, providingtheir links to their socials and

(06:16):
all of that giving you the bestexperience that Psalm and
Cypher can provide.
So this is what I need for youto do.
All right, if you could think ofanything that a help or that
you would like the show to have, all right, please put in the
comment section.
I'll read it up.

(06:36):
You know.
I'll go ahead and make a videoof how we'll format this or
whatever, but for right now, this is what we're moving with.
I look forward to hearing fromyou.
Hit the like, subscribe, followbutton, all of that.
Check me out on all thedifferent platforms.
I'm going to be putting up alltypes of different uh content
across the other differentplatforms for entertainment and

(06:57):
all of that stuff, and stayblessed.
See you on the next one.
One God.
