Welcome to the first episode of the podcast.

Peter Rhodes is a dear friend—a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. A former prison counselor and probation officer, he still offers private counseling and works at the Bryn Athyn Thrift Shop (BATS), showing up with presence and humility at 80.

Peter has been a quiet giant in many lives, including mine. From childhood days playing in the woods behind his house and cold plunging by his hand-built huts, to recent heart-to-hearts in those same huts, Peter has consistently shown me—and countless others—what it means to live in the present.

In this conversation, we explore the arc of Peter’s life: his path as a seeker, early stories and careers, practicing non-judgemental observation, the art of learning to hold space without fixing, and reflections on addiction, ego, marriage, grief, happiness, and usefulness. We talk about what it means to live in the body, in the moment—day by day, and much more…

Peter doesn’t offer easy answers. But if you're listening for something real, something that challenges you, you'll find it here.

I can’t believe I get to say this—welcome to episode one.

Boysober

Boysober

Have you ever wondered what life might be like if you stopped worrying about being wanted, and focused on understanding what you actually want? That was the question Hope Woodard asked herself after a string of situationships inspired her to take a break from sex and dating. She went "boysober," a personal concept that sparked a global movement among women looking to prioritize themselves over men. Now, Hope is looking to expand the ways we explore our relationship to relationships. Taking a bold, unfiltered look into modern love, romance, and self-discovery, Boysober will dive into messy stories about dating, sex, love, friendship, and breaking generational patterns—all with humor, vulnerability, and a fresh perspective.
