Two Titles To Defend - The CMR FormCast

We head into the weekend with plenty of confidence, having assembled a solid hand to take on the feature races across Cranbourne and Kembla Grange.

We’ll swing the barn doors open and head across to the track for Cranbourne Cup Day with up to four contesting the Cup, looking to defend our title with Charterhouse winning last year’s edition.

There is plenty to get through before that, though, with all runners having genuine winning chances, including NADAL, who lines up in the CMR Slot for the inaugural running of the $1m Meteorite.

At Kembla, we have a team of five entered to take on the Group 3 $1m Gong. The in-form GRINGOTTS currently headlines the market, where we, too, are on the title defence after Detonator Jack took out the event last year.

And then there’s the Group 1 Railway Stakes, which sees SOCKS NATION and LIGHT INFANTRY MAN head across after an excellent third in the G1 Empire Rose and win in the Chester Manifold Stakes, respectively.
