Meet The Host: Tami Gale, Founder of Gale Force Organizers

Ever wondered what drives someone to make organization their life's work? Tami Gale reveals the deeply personal journey that led her to found Gale Force Organizers after helping her parents transition to assisted living and memory care. She discovered a critical service gap—while families focus on their loved ones' health and finding the right facility, they're overwhelmed by managing possessions and downsizing.

Drawing from her extraordinary background of over 30 relocations across the globe as a military spouse, Tami transformed these life experiences into expertise that serves Colorado Springs families and businesses. Her team, including retired military officers, brings unparalleled systematic thinking to every project. Their comprehensive services extend beyond basic organization to include full-service relocation management, unpacking and setup, and specialized senior transition assistance that prioritizes safety and accessibility.

Whether you're facing a cross-country move, helping an aging parent downsize, or simply need systems that make your daily life function better, Tami's team brings calm to chaos. These services basically takeany space and increase its
functionality and creates easyto maintain systems.

We can do the move coordinationand we also can actually unpack
and set up your home when youmove in.
And then we also have a specialplace in our heart to assist
seniors as they transitioneither to adult communities or
downsizing, right-sizing toensure that their home is a

(01:44):
place that they value and wantto spend time.
So we also make sure thatthat's safe and accessible for
them.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Awesome.
When you're not busy runningyour business, what do you do
for fun?

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Well, we are avid travelers.
You give me any time and I'llfill it with a mini vacation,
anything from a long weekend totwo or three weeks.
We also do a lot of hiking andenjoying nature here in the area
.
It's why we live here.
I always will have a book,whether it's taken to lunch so I
can get 30 minutes of quiettime myself, or sitting on the

(02:19):
backyard.
So anything that we can do tobe outside and enjoy a little
relaxation is what we're herefor.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Great.
We know marketing is the key toany business success.
How do you market your business?

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Well, we really do it in a couple of ways.
We are, of course, doing all ofthe social media platforms,
predominantly Facebook,Instagram and LinkedIn, but
really we find that networkingand getting out in the community
is really how we find ouraudience.
We are active members of theSenior Resource Council here in

(02:57):
town and the Seniors AdvocateCollaborative, and we're also
just active around the community.
I'm a military spouse.
My lead organizers are retiredmilitary officers.
We really try to stay in touchand in tune and we find that
referrals are probably the bestway that our business grows.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Okay In your words.
Why are you doing this?

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Well, really, I think we felt, along a journey of
helping my parents through theirsenior transitions into
assisted living and memory care, that there were really is a
lack of service.
There's a gap in what'savailable.
Many times, family members wantto be concentrating on picking
the best facility, trying toensure the health and well-being

(03:44):
of their loved one, and thelast thing they have time to do
is manage the stuff or take themfrom a home into a much smaller
place.
And so, really, afterrecognizing that there was a
need, we quickly realized thatwe were also unique and had the

(04:05):
experience and the skills to dowhat we needed to do.
I've moved.
My organizer and I have movedmore than 30 times across the
country and across the world.
We know how to do it, we knowhow to do it right, and we have
used those lessons learned toreally help our clients with
what we hope is a less stressfuland more seamless transition.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Wow, tammy, you're a very busy person.
Love it, tammy.
We'll catch you in the nextepisode.
