Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome back to the Grind, Real Talk, Real life. This
episode of Day it's called Moments to take your breath Away.
There's a quote that says life is not measured by
the number of breasts we take, but by the moment
moments that take our breath away. You know what that
(00:23):
hits different when you've lived through some of the real shit.
You spend so much time just surviving, not living, not feeling,
just saying, just trying to make it through another damn day.
Wake up, grind, stress, fight, maybe eat, maybe not, maybe sleep,
(00:48):
maybe not. Repeat That ain't living, that's existing, and sometimes
that's all you can do. I ain't knocking survival mode.
I've been there longer than I ever wanted to. But
then something happens, something hits, something makes you pause, makes
(01:10):
you forget how broken the world is. Maybe it's the
sound of your kid laughing. Maybe it's a memory of
your grandpa telling you he's proud of you. Maybe it's
standing outside under the stars, in the middle of nowhere,
breathing in the air that ain't poisoned by the noise
(01:30):
of the world. That's a moment that takes your breath away,
and it don't always got to be something pretty. Sometimes
it's a pain that stops time, holding someone's hand while
they pass away, hearing the words you never wanted to hear,
Feeling your heart break so deep you swear your heart
(01:53):
forgot how to beat. Still took your breath away, didn't it.
These moments or bad are the ones that shape us.
They show us what we care about, what breaks us,
what makes us feel alive, what we never want to lose,
(02:15):
what we'd fight for it, even when the whole world
turns its back on us. Some of y'all are walking
around thinking your life ain't worth much because you ain't
done nothing big. You didn't become rich, you didn't become famous.
But let me ask you this, how many moments in
(02:35):
your life have you had or your breath caught in
your throat because of love or loss, or something so
real it reminding you why you're still here. That's life.
That's the real measurement. Not the job title, not the money,
(02:56):
not the followers, just the moments, the ones that remind
you that you're still human, that you can still feel.
So take a minute today and look for that moment.
It don't have to be loud. Maybe it's your kids
falling asleep on your chest. Maybe it's a a letter
(03:21):
or a text from someone that you thought forgot about you.
Maybe it's just sitting in silence, finally not running from
your own thoughts. Let those moments matter, hold 'em close,
because those are what make the grind worth it. This
(03:43):
is the grind, real talk, real life moments to take
your breath away. Don't forget the LA's not about counting breasts.
It's about the ones that stop us in our tracks.
