What do you see when you look in the mirror? The scars, the pain, the exhaustion… maybe even the doubt. But that reflection? It don’t show the battles you fought just to stand today. In this raw and honest episode, we talk about the truths the mirror can’t reflect — the nights you didn’t sleep, the times you didn’t quit, and the strength it took just to show up. This one’s for the fighters, the survivors, and the ones still pushing.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome back to the Grind, Real Talk, Real Life. Today's
episode episode is called The Mirror Don't Lie, but it
don't tell the whole story. When you wake up in
the morning and catch your reflection, what do you see,
Be honest, you see the lines, the scars, maybe the
pain in your eyes. You see the version of you

(00:23):
that's been through hell, tired, worn, beat down, maybe a
little broken. The mirror it don't sugarcoat nothing. But here's
what it doesn't show. It doesn't show the nights that
you didn't sleep because you were battling the demons. No
one could see it. Don't show the moment she smiled

(00:44):
for your kids when your world was falling apart. It
don't show the strength it took just to get out
of bed and face another damn day. Nah, it won't
show that, but I see it. I know it there.
People look at you and they think they think they

(01:05):
know your story from the outside. They don't know the
chapters you've never told, the pages you ripped out, the
sentences you had to rewrite just to keep going. In
that mirror. They don't see the grip behind your grind.
It don't show the weight you carry, the prayers you
whispered the promises you made to yourself at your lowest point.

(01:29):
All it shows is skin deep. But you you've lived deep.
You've cried silent tears, laughed through pain, and love with
a broken heart. So when you catch your reflection and
all you see is what you've lost, what you've done,
or how far you still gotta go, take a breath,

(01:50):
Remind yourself the mirror don't lie. But it don't. But
but it damn sure don't tell the whole truth either.
You ain't just surviving, You're growing, rebuilding and healing. You're
still in the fight and that that makes you unstoppable.

(02:11):
Keep going, boss. The world don't know the whole you,
but they will, one real talk at a time. That's
the grind, real talk, real life. Yeah, catch you on
the flip side.
