Welcome to My Daddy and Mommy’s Kitchen.
In every culture, the kitchen is more than a place to cook. It’s where stories are told, traditions are passed down, and love is shared inevery bite.
My mom was born in Tianjin, China. My dad was born in theUnited States, with Polish, Irish, and English roots.
When they met, two worlds came together East and West, chopsticks and forks, soy sauce and dill. They built a home where both cultureslive side by side.
Every day at home feels like an international food festival. On one side of the table: Mom’s Tianjin noodles, steaming and fragrant. On theother hand, Dad’s Italian pasta, twirled with tomato sauce.
Sometimes it’s Mom’s Tianjin dumplings, soft and juicy, lined up like little treasures. Across from them are Dad’s Polish pierogi, filled with potatoes and cheese, warm and hearty.
There are scallion pancakes sizzling in the pan, while pizzabakes in the oven.
We laugh, we taste, and we share stories. Our table is neverjust about food—it’s about family, memory, and love.
It is said that food takes time and is cooked with love. When my parents cook, I can taste their love in every dish. They love me verymuch, and I love them too.
My family is love… and love tastes delicious.
May your home be filled with warmth, flavor, and storiesworth sharing.

Cardiac Cowboys
The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
