Speaker 1 (00:00):
We have breaking news tonight.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
The Deputy chief of Staff for the White House just
accused the parent company of Fox News of defamation.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
Regarding President Trump.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Will go over what that means in the modern media landscape. Also,
in one California school district, students may have to say
they are mentally ill if they don't want to go
to the bathroom with members of the opposite sex. We've
got a key school board member here to discuss. And
Andrew Giuliani drops by to break down the battle for
America's cities. And President Trump shared a message of faith

(00:30):
at a religious liberty ceremony today at the Museum of
the Bible. We've got the highlights. It's all next on
the Mac Gates Show.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Let's do this shaking up Washington, d C. We're breaking
the fever.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Do you haven't watch this guy on television.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
It's like a machine. He's great.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Matt Gates, as we join you this evening, there is
an astonishing story. Some young students in American public schools
could be faced with this choice. Either go to the
bathroom with people who are members of the opposite sex
or declare that you have a mental illness on a

(01:08):
school form. The Temecula County School Board was considering a
proposal to do just this, to allow girls to opt
out of going to the bathroom with boys if they
simply claimed that they couldn't handle it. Mentally, they always
accuse us of what they are doing. We learned that
during the Russia hoax, where Democrats were actually working with

(01:30):
Russians to pollute American democracy, all while falsely accusing Yours
truly and President Trump of working with Russians to pollute
American democracy. We learned after the twenty twenty election, Republicans
were accused of trying to overturn the will of the people.
Now we see Dni Toulci Gabbard regularly releasing information that
increasingly convinces us that the autopen presidency wasn't properly installed

(01:54):
in the first place. But now it's the intersection of
gender and men until illness where the hypocrisy is richer
than a Temecula Cabernet Savignon. We explore the world of
what happened to get us to this point where instead
of using mental health designations to assist young people suffering
from gender dysphoria, we are now calling the girls who

(02:18):
don't want to shower with boys, the mentally ill ones.
They always accuse us of what they're doing. Let's review
the legislative record. In twenty thirteen, California passed.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
The Safe Schools Act.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
It sounds harmless enough, but it included a provision that
students may use whatever bathroom quote matches their gender identity.
This is a substantial departure from school. When I went there,
the boys went to the boys bathroom and the girls
went to the girls bathroom. You didn't just get to
like have your gender identity du jure and then go

(02:51):
wherever you want. This is basically a twenty thirteen forever
permission slip for this type of selection of where people
go to the bathroom. It is like giving people the
opportunity to pick their gender of the day. Now, of course,
this is chaotic and wrong, and it forced upon students
a pretty bizarre experience.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
But it gets even worse.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
In twenty sixteen, the Equal Restrooms Access Bill was passed.
It required every single occupancy restroom to be gender neutral.
That's right, every single occupancy restroom had to be gender
neutral as a.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Function of law in schools. But that wasn't enough.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
In twenty twenty three, the all Gender Restrooms legislation becomes law.
It requires schools to provide at least one all gender restroom.
And if the pace of gender bending legislation is speeding
up to you, that's a reality. This year it became
law in California. The public schools can't enforce any policy

(03:50):
that requires staff to disclose a sexual orientation, gender identity,
or gender expression to others, including the parents of the student,
without the student's consent. So student privacy is now elevated
over parental notice on the question of what gender that
kid's deciding to be on a given day. Would you

(04:12):
really send your kid to a school where if he
started wearing dresses, the teachers couldn't tell you about it
without the nine year old giving you approval. That's insane.
It's against nature and against the whole honor, Thy Father
and thy mother commandment from God. So what we have
in California is a legal system where going to the

(04:32):
bathroom has become like a gender hunger game. Since twenty thirteen,
and since then, they've passed law after law that injects
bizarre gender politics into the schools of little children. You
should be able to send your kid to the first
grade without there being some sort of gender fluid bathroom
question lurking around every corner, and by forcing all of

(04:54):
these bathroom designations upon second and third graders. It's this dark,
subconscious policy of California, I guess, to get children to
start questioning their gender before they even learn their multiplication tables.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Why for what? Who is this serving now?

Speaker 2 (05:11):
The Temecula School board is literally considering a proposal where
you may have to tell your child their choice is
to be queer or mentally ill. Is the choice being
presented because the wotopians who run California actually want your
kids to surrender having boys and girls in the same
locker rooms? Or is it that they want to falsely
present this dichotomy where anyone who isn't trans friendly is

(05:35):
deranged and possibly even a threat. If it sounds like
California is only a step away from taking people's kids away,
they actually are. The California legislature passed a bill that
would have terminated parental rights if a kid wanted to
be trans and the parents said no. Just imagine your

(05:55):
daughter comes home and says while passing one of the
thirty four gender neutral bath rooms at school, she decides
that she doesn't want to fill out a form to
be mentally ill and instead wants to be a boy.
She tells you that she wants to start taking drugs
from the school nurse to block puberty, and she wants
to deepen her voice, destroy her ability to have children

(06:16):
one day, and you say, no, that's not going to happen. Well,
under Bill nine to five seven in California, the state
would have been able to terminate your parental rights under
child abuse statutes. What kind of society would we be
building with a bunch of parentless, genderless adolescents being raised
by the state of California. Governor Newsom did veto that bill,

(06:40):
and he seems to know that California's insane gender policies
are unfair.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
That would you say, no men and female sports.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
Well, I think it's an issue of fairness. I completely
agree with you on that.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
But what Governor Newsom will admit when being pressed on
by Charlie Kirk isn't the public policy in California today?

Speaker 1 (06:56):
Just this year, ab Hernandez.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
A biological male, one of the girls high jump and
triple jump in California's interscholastic state Track and Field Championship California,
where men are showering with your daughters at school, where
men beat your daughters on the athletic field, and where
if you complain about it, you might be mentally ill

(07:19):
and they might take your kids away. Here with us
now is Temechila Valley Unified School District Trustee doctor Joseph Kamroski,
doctor k who came up with this policy proposal to
have students potentially identify as mentally ill to avoid bathrooms
with members of the opposite sex.

Speaker 5 (07:37):
Thanks for having me on your show, Matt.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (07:39):
I want to say, first of all, it was not
missus Werresman myself. It was doctor Anderson, mister Barham, and
mister Schwartz.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Yeah, And what is the status of this policy now?

Speaker 5 (07:52):
So it's still an active We have an agendis item
for Tuesday's meeting to rescind it. And then the secondary
option is as a privacy policy, which me and Jen
try to put forth in May, and they wouldn't allow
us to. But yeah, that's where it stands.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
Bring us inside your community's reaction to anyone suggesting that
wanting to not go to the bathroom with someone in
the opposite sex render us one mentally ill.

Speaker 5 (08:20):
Yeah, a good question to situate the context. First, you
had a rumor that a boy was going to go
into a girls' locker room at one of the middle schools,
and on our last school board meeting you had two
brave patriot students, Kaylee and Brooklyn. They came up to say,
we don't want this. You and I know that California
Edco two to one point five makes it legally permissible,

(08:42):
but it's a moral it's a form of wocism, and
that we could thank Jerry brown back in August twenty thirteen.
So the appearents were in an uproar because, yeah, even
though it's legal permissible, they don't want this. And to
Mecca is a conservative city. So the absurdity of this is,
and I said this in a previous interview, you can
call it a gas lighting policy because if a girl
has to sign a mental health exemption form and she

(09:04):
doesn't feel comfortable because of the possibility of a boy
changing in front of her, or even let's push this
matt into the logical absurdity of what about showering in
front of her at another high school? Later on the
future now we could just call it the gas lighting policy,
because gender dysphoria is in the DSM five manual and
that is what we are seeing. And to have a
girl sign a mental health exemption form when she doesn't

(09:25):
have a mental health problem is just nonsense and I'm
not going to stand for it, and neither a majority
of the members of Temecula.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
You mentioned this twenty thirteen law that requires gender neutral
bathrooms in schools.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
What age does that begin at?

Speaker 5 (09:43):
That's a good question. I mean, the first that we've
heard of it, you know what, I think middle school,
But come to think of it, yeah, because locker rooms.
I'm you know what, that's a really good question, Matt,
I'm just going to say middle school.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
We just wonder, you know what the state of California
may be trying to subconsciously portray. If the state laws
are saying, Okay, well this has to be a gender
neutral bathroom and you have to have this type of policy,
it's it's almost like it is encouraging gender dysphoria. Is
that a concern you have as an educational leader?

Speaker 5 (10:15):
Absolutely? And the thing about me is I tell people
that's right up front. I'm not politically correct by any means.
I don't represent the school administrative district. I certainly don't
represent the leadership of the local teachers union. I represent
the values of the parents of the community, and they
don't want this. And what I think it is is
it's woke asm, a hypersensitivity to LGBT QUI plus and

(10:37):
the sexualization of our youth. And we can think the
mafia clowns Newsome, Thurman, Bonta, and Wiener up at the
state level passing this corrupt legislation that is morally reprehensible,
and I think it's a it's a normalization. They don't
just want you to agree with it, they want you
to participate it and accept it.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
Yeah, we've talked a lot about how the adults are reacting.
How are the students react? Like these the middle school
years are like the wonder years. We're supposed to be
figuring things out about life and growth and to have
all this playing out in the in the context of
attempted learning would seemingly be very distracting.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
But what if students shared with you.

Speaker 5 (11:17):
Yeah, they were, They were really excited that me and
missus Wursman we're trying to push forward a privacy policy
and voted know on the other two policies, and let
me just throw a Covey ont in there too. The
three that pushed this forward are the same three that
shut down our CRT lawsuit from being heard at the
Supreme Court at the state level, which a lot of
members of the community wanted when we banned CRT. And then

(11:39):
the same three that let the activist leadership of the
teachers' union speak at every meeting and push the parent
comments towards the end. So just that out of the way.
But those those dollars they invited us to attend their protests.
We stood out there in Unison, and you know, there
was at least thirty to forty students out there, and
they made their statements. They know that in this conundrum,

(12:01):
and I'm sure they love their principle who's dealing with
this trying to protect them, But in any case, they
just don't want it in Temecula.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
I can't imagine they would want it anywhere.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
But when you have like a system where the government
entity is not responsive to the values of any community,
people want change. And here it seems like the broader
California mind virus is having a really negative impact on
your conservative community in Temecula. What do you think the
political solution is to this and how do you hope to.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
Be a part of it.

Speaker 5 (12:36):
I'm so glad you asked. I think that privacy is
a fundamental right of human persons. It's protected by the
US and state constitutions, also biblically grounded morally. But I
think what we're looking at is a privacy option so
that no matter what you no matter what you identify
as a student, you could just say, look, I don't
feel comfortable in dressing in front of anyone. And we

(12:58):
wanted this policy put for at the very beginning of
semester so that it didn't target anybody that said this
is And then the other solution is to rescind these
ridiculous policies, the mental health and the religious exemption. But
that said, Matt, it is only a band aid to
truly deal with this problem. It's so deep. You need
to rip the band aid off and get the legislators
out of office who brought forth these corrupt bills to

(13:21):
legalize the said code. On top of that, we need
I don't know, possibly the President getting involved in our
state because we're stuck and local efforts. It basically stops
local control for elected or elected officials like myself trying
to protect the innocence of students and empower the parents.
We're stuck having to deal with this lawfare at the

(13:42):
state level.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
Yeah, it really seems like you're captive. Your captive, and
your captors are devoid of logic and reason, and your
children have to bear the consequences.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
We wish you well in this fight.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
We hope the policy is never contemplated to be used
anywhere else and that it's to be rescinded. The Unified
School District of Temecula Trustee, Doctor Joseph Kmroski, thank you
for joining.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
Us on the program.

Speaker 5 (14:06):
Thank you, God bless Matt, thank you.

Speaker 2 (14:08):

Speaker 2 (16:36):
America must confront a startling reality in our great cities
New York, Chicago, Los Angeles. Innocent lives are being torn
apart daily, collateral in the war on law and order.
We owe it to every mother and father, every grandparent and.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
Child to act with resolve.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
That's why using the military, our strongest institution, to save
our cities is not extreme. It's necessary. I'll tell you
a few of these stories that struck me. Take East Harlem,
where sixty nine year old Robin Wright, a grandmother who
used a walker and would go out for a stroll
after surgery, was fatally struck by a stray bullet. An

(17:13):
eighteen year old fugitive Faisal McCants fired fifteen rounds from
a machine gun during a drug related robbery and killed her.
They tore away a life of quiet resilience in this
mindless act of violence. She wasn't a gang member. She
was simply living now dead for the crime of walking.
Then in Brooklyn, sixty seven year old Hector and Sarah

(17:35):
Perez was slaughtered stabbed to death while cleaning an eye
hoop at closing time. He was ambushed in a workplace
that should have been safe. Another worker was wounded and
walked away. The killer vanished. A man with a mop
was executed like some sort of mob target. Innocence doesn't
protect you when lawlessness reigns. Meanwhile, this laborty weekend began,

(17:58):
Chicago erupted into chaos aga again. At least fifty two
people were shot, and there was a surge of violence
across neighborhoods from South Shore to Inglewood. Gunfire rained, bodies fell,
residents cowered, streets emptied, and surveillance footage was released over
the weekend showing the ghastly murder of a twenty three
year old woman in Charlotte, North Carolina. This young Ukrainian

(18:20):
refugee was riding the train home from work when a
deranged homeless man stabbed her in the neck from behind.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect, thirty
four year old de Carlos Brown Junior, has a violent
rap sheet a mile long. He's been arrested fourteen times
and yet still walked away to brutally slaughter this innocent woman.

(18:41):
The lack of media coverage has sparked outrage online. Wikipedia
editors are actively trying to erase the story. Benny Johnson remarked,
if Einra were black and her killer white, the media
would be rioting NonStop, But because she's white, they stay silent.
This is evil and it's deliberate. These are nonstaitists. These
are lives broken, families destroyed, empty tables, dreams extinguished by bullets, knives,

(19:07):
and chaos. Everyone could have carried the name of a
family member of yours or mine. Everyone is a testament
to the failure of leadership in these cities. So we
have to ask, why do we allow our citizens to
wait until violence destroys their neighborhoods. Why don't we tolerate
this type of rampage. We could overwhelm it, We could

(19:27):
tackle these urban problems. These are collapses of law and
order that are a direct consequence of the choices that
the democrats who have made, who have been unilaterally in
power in a lot of these places. There are those
who say that the military's involvement will be overkilled, but
this is what you get. After liberal politicians have spent
the last several decades trying to defund the police.

Speaker 7 (19:50):
Suck it up. Defunding the police has to happen. We
need to defund the police.

Speaker 6 (19:54):
Where Eric are said, he's saying, take some of the
money from policing.

Speaker 8 (19:57):
About one hundred and fifty million dollars dimeplot Eric for
doing what he's done. Not only do we need to
disinvest for in police, but we need to completely dismantle
the Minneapolis Police Department.

Speaker 9 (20:09):
So yes, defund your butt, defund you. Yes, I support
the reallocation of resources from NYPD.

Speaker 8 (20:17):
We will be moving funding from the NYPD to youth
initiatives and social services.

Speaker 5 (20:23):
Yes, I support the defund movement.

Speaker 6 (20:25):
I'm for responsible reallocation of resources and defund the police.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
Our cities need a shield to protect the innocent, specialized, disciplined,
well equipped units that can secure neighborhoods, re establish public safety,
dismantle criminal networks, and restore confidence. Bringing in the military
isn't about oppression. It's about protection. And these people who
we just showed to you were trying to take that
protection away. Waiting for the police isn't enough when violence

(20:54):
is spiking beyond control, and if civilian law enforcement lacks
backup or logistical support, then federal force must be back up.
The military brings logistical might and coordination unmatched ability to
reclaim the.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
Streets from these war zones.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
Every parent in East Harlem who lost a grandmother, every
cleanup worker in Brooklyn, every office worker in Manhattan, every
resident in Chicago deserves streets that aren't riddled with bullets.
And so there is help if we dare to use it.
We stand at the cross roads. We can let our
urban centers fall into anarchy where we can act with strength.
President Trump is right deploy the military, resecure our cities,

(21:33):
restore law and order, and ensure that American lives are
saved without hesitation. Joining us now is the executive director
of the White House Task Force for the FIFA World
Cup in twenty twenty six. Our good friend Andrew Giuliani.
I want to get to FIFA in a moment, Andrew,
but I would like your take on this attack we
saw against this Ukrainian refugee in the United States and

(21:55):
how the media has really failed to cover it.

Speaker 4 (21:58):
Yeah, Matt, great to see you.

Speaker 8 (21:59):
This is obviously so heartbreaking I'm so glad the President
is focused on this. You know, one of the things
that I've spoken about with the President is just how
dh sorry, how really basically Washington, d c. Has become
a crime free zone under President Trump in the matter.

Speaker 1 (22:16):
Of three weeks.

Speaker 8 (22:17):
It's amazing what happens when you actually support law enforcement
and you allow them to do their job, when you
allow them to be proactive, and you get these radical
politicians out of the way. We saw success in that
in New York in the nineties. Any other city that
has actually taken that approach, that broken windows approach, has
seen crime numbers drastically reduced. And unfortunately, you have radical

(22:41):
politicians that take the opposite tact and guess what it's
costing Americans their lives, like this poor girl here that
you see now obviously Ukrainian, but still so sad. So
obviously I'm glad President Trump is weighing and I'm glad
he's doing everything he actually can to keep Americans safe.
Maybe not the Americans that voted for him if you

(23:02):
look at these cities, but all Americans safe.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
Map and more are voting for him in the cities,
I think because they're seeing conditions improve when they aren't
having to dodge bullets. And it's not like there's some
secret playbook about how to clean up your cities. You
go do exactly what your father, Rudy Giuliani did in
New York.

Speaker 1 (23:19):
This is a guy who took out the mob.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
This is a guy who ensured that people could walk
the streets of New York again, and he restored a
city that had been ravaged previously by so much violence.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
But I wonder Andrew, if that would.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
Work in today's world, where democrats in some of these
cities have been effective at defunding the police. They've tried
to take immunities away from police officers.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
And now you know that.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
You look at at police departments that have been hollowed out,
a lot of people have resigned, retired, gone to other work.
And so President Trump, to try to save the cities
is bringing in the military. How do you see that
working with military components and whatever is left of police
departments in some of these places where they've moved funding
to other places.

Speaker 8 (24:03):
Well, Matt to your first point, and you're absolutely dead on.
There are two key components really to making a city safer.

Speaker 1 (24:09):
Right.

Speaker 8 (24:09):
One is understanding the numbers. That's the CompStat part of
what New York implemented in the nineties, and basically it's
about knowing where crime is going to happen before it
actually happens there. And that simply started really before the
age of technology, with having precinct commanders actually report up
the chain to the commissioner, the NYPD commissioner, and then

(24:31):
ultimately to the mayor, so that way they could preposition
law enforcement officers actually on the corners where those crimes
were happening. Right, it's not just a matter of getting
the actual numbers out on the streets, but you need
to know which streets are the most vulnerable for which
crimes and then put the right officers or the right
personnel in those areas. But the second part, Matt, and

(24:52):
this is the part that you really just hit on
right there, which is so key. It's ultimately the political
wins that come from a city hall, or the political
wins that come from the governor's office or that come
from the White House. And if these cops understand that
proactive policing is actually going to cost them their jobs
potentially if they make one wrong mistake, not even a

(25:14):
wilful mistake, truly a mistake in doing their jobs, because,
as we know, policing truly is a second by second,
bang bang thing.

Speaker 4 (25:23):
If they believe and they.

Speaker 8 (25:25):
Know from the political wills that they're ultimately going to
get fried for proactive policing, then you're gonna have reactive policing,
and sadly, you're just going to see an unwinding of
public safety in that city. That's why it's so important
for the political leaders in charge to be sending a
very clear message to the NYPD, to the Chicago PD,

(25:46):
to whichever police office is in their city that they
stand by them and they want their cops to actually
be proactive and not reactive.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
And I have to say, in Florida we've received the
benefits of those bad wins blowing in other places.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
Well, I mean, think about it.

Speaker 2 (26:04):
You're a police officer in Minneapolis, and just like you say,
the city and national leadership that is in your community
is saying that you're a bad person and you deserve
to be dismantled. A lot of those folks packed up,
came down to Florida, went to Texas, Arizona, and figured
that they would be treated better, and in fact, they
are I do want to talk about FIFA because you're
leading this very important effort for the White House. How

(26:26):
are you evaluating the security around that and ensuring that
folks are going to be safe and that it's going
to be a fantastic event.

Speaker 8 (26:33):
Well, to your point, Matt, when I was running for governor,
I talked about this almost every day at how many
New Yorkers were actually fleeing for Florida, or for Texas
or Tennessee, these red states that actually did put an
emphasis on public safety. But it's very interesting to actually
talk about the crossover between public safety and FIFA. When
you look at the eleven cities around the United States

(26:54):
that are actually going to be hosting these games. You have,
you know, cities like Boston, La San Francisco, we know
where they stand on public safety many times. But then
you also have cities like Miami, like Houston, Dallas that
are in red states that have a different feel from
the political leadership there in terms of their take on

(27:15):
public safety. And you can see a real difference in
terms of the numbers there and frankly, from the federal
resources that we're looking to deploy to make sure that
this is not just the most successful World Cup, but
really the safest World Cup. And Matt, for perspective, when
President Trump's talks about this as the largest sporting event
in human history, what I tell American football fans like

(27:36):
you or me is one hundred million people watch a
Super Bowl, two billion people watch the World Cup finals.
So really the eyes of the world will be on
us next summer when we host the World Cup.

Speaker 2 (27:47):
Are you preparing for terrorists to potentially target these events?

Speaker 8 (27:52):
Well, look, we have looked at everything, Matt, and the
thing that scares me more than anything, it's less even
the people that are trying to get in now, just
because Secretary Noman President Trump have done such a good
job at shutting down illegal illegals coming in through the
southern border, it's those that got here between twenty twenty
one and twenty twenty four, when obviously our border was

(28:12):
wide open. So we are absolutely putting a huge emphasis
on making sure who got into the country where we're
doubling down on the intelligence on this, and we're making
sure that not just the eleven stadium sites are as
safe as they possibly can be, but also the diplomatic hotels,
also the base camps where you're going to have you know,
Messi and Ronaldo and all these global superstars based out

(28:34):
for two months. So it really is an all of
continent's approach here, and it's not just the federal resources,
but we really need to make sure our state and
locals are truly prepared with all the resources and assets
that they can muster up to make sure the country
is safe next year as.

Speaker 1 (28:49):
Well, because remember too, this is going on.

Speaker 8 (28:51):
Over our two hundred and fiftieth birthday as well, so
you have other America two fifty events, other great events
to celebrate the greatness of the first two one hundred
and fifty years of the United States of America. So
we need to make sure that our country is safe
over this very important time next year.

Speaker 2 (29:06):
And if it is safe, I'm eager to get your
perspective on how the world is going to reflect on
America hosting this very significant global event. I attended the
World Cup the last time it was held in Qatar.
It's a very small country and so you don't have
to travel very far to go from from one game
to the next.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
Here in the United States.

Speaker 2 (29:28):
You say continent wide, which I think demonstrates the challenge
of this but if you're able to pull it off,
if it's able to be splendid and successful, what do
you think it says about the United States of America.

Speaker 8 (29:39):
Well, this is what I told President Trump when I
was pitching for the job here, Matt. Basically, this is
a great opportunity to show off the greatness of the
first two hundred and fifty years of America and the
hope and promise of the next two hundred and fifty years.
When you think many of these people that are coming
in from all across the world to watch this have
been told fantastic lies about what the United States of

(30:02):
America is. This is a great opportunity, under somebody who
knows how to show off major events better than anybody
in our lifetimes, at least Matt and Donald J. Trump,
to actually show off how great America actually is and
how great we can show off these major events. And
to your point, with Qatar and the US in terms
of an overlay, couldn't be any different. I mean, probably

(30:22):
Qatar is closer to the Olympics and what Southern California
will experience in a couple of years than.

Speaker 1 (30:28):
It is to the World Cup.

Speaker 8 (30:29):
But it has been good to talk to them about
some of the security stuff as they were able to
really really lock down.

Speaker 1 (30:34):
But we'll be going.

Speaker 8 (30:34):
Everywhere from Boston to Los Angeles, and you'll even have
some games in Canada and Mexico as well. So it
really is an all of continent approach and it's going
to be a great opportunity to show off all the
different cultures and the real, as I said before, the
real greatness of the United States of America, American exceptionalism.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
The final question for you, we saw that the Great
Rudi Giuliani, your father, had a bit of an accident
within the last seven days.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
How's he doing.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
Everyone on our program cheers for the Great Mayor all
the time.

Speaker 8 (31:05):
Thank God, he's doing okay. You know, the seatbelt really
saved his life. He was up walking. He actually gave
a jula g on Saturday at a Deer loved ones funeral,
So he is. He's back to being himself, consoling people
at times of grief. As you know, Matt, you've always
been such a deer and good friend and always stood

(31:25):
by my father through thick and thin, and I have
to thank you for that, but also from all the
prayers from all the people watching I've heard from so
many people, from the Herrings, from regular watchers of yours,
from vish from everybody, and I'm so so grateful for
all the love that you've bestowed upon.

Speaker 1 (31:43):
My family at this time.

Speaker 8 (31:44):
But he is he's ready to fight some more. That's
really what he wants now, he's looking for his next fights.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
Well, give the Mayor our best, Andrew Giuliani, thanks for
coming on and we look forward to just to having
you display the best of our country to the entire
world with FIFA and safe and appropriately maintained.

Speaker 8 (32:00):
Thanks a lot, Matt appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
You've heard me talk about All Family Pharmacy before, but
let me ask, have you actually gone to their website
and looked around? Because this is not a typical pharmacy.
These are people doing things the right way. They make
sure it's easy to stock your medicine cabinet with essentials
like antibiotics, tamaflu ivermectin, hydroxychloroquin or even a year's supply
of your daily maintenance meds. They've also added some amazing

(32:23):
new biohacking products like nad Plus and Methyling Blue. This
is stuff you're not going to find at your local
big chain pharmacy. All Family Pharmacy works with doctors who
write the prescriptions and get the meds shipped right to
you in a couple of days. Look, flu season is
right around the corner, and now is the time to prepare,
not when you're already sick and out of options. Go
to Allfamilypharmacy dot com forward slash Matt, take a couple

(32:46):
of minutes see what they have. Use code Matt ten.
It'll save you an extra ten percent on your order.
And if you're serious about being prepared, this is the
pharmacy for you. Check it out today, tell them I
sent you. And coming up, President Trump gave an important
speech today at the Museum of the Bible. We've got
all the highlights.

Speaker 10 (35:21):
America has always been a nation that believes in the.

Speaker 3 (35:24):
Power of prayer, and we will never apologize for our faith, ever, ever, never, never,
We will never surrender our God given rights. We will
defend our liberties, our values, our sovereignty, and we will.

Speaker 10 (35:39):
Defend our freedom. And with the help of amazing faith
communities across the land, so many are represented with us today,
we will truly make this the Golden Age of America.

Speaker 2 (35:52):
That was President Trump speaking at the Museum of the
Bible today. He was joined by members of the White
House Religious Liberty Commission. President Trump has been a champion
for religious freedom and freedom of expression.

Speaker 1 (36:03):
We recall it.

Speaker 2 (36:04):
Wasn't so long ago that COVID negatively impacted religious gatherings disproportionately.
One day, we will actually have to tell our children
that the government tried to close churches while keeping open
strip clubs, which led to bizarre scenes like this. Those

(36:32):
days should never return again. People of faith gathering for
peaceful prayer aren't a threat to anyone. We wanted to
learn more about the Trump administration's religious liberty agenda and
get reaction from the President's big speech with us for more.
As White House correspondent for the Federalist Brecon thieves so Brecon,
how was the President today at the Museum of the Bible.

Speaker 9 (36:53):
He was talking a lot about the power of prayer,
talking a lot about religious liberty and how to protect
it and some of the attacks that frankly, we've seen
about in on religious liberty for I mean not just
the Biden administration, but sort of for decades in our country.

Speaker 2 (37:09):
What do you think is the core message of President
Trump to the faith community that often feels detached from
American politics.

Speaker 9 (37:19):
Well, his message, and this is sort of part of
the America Praise initiative. It's basically asking the millions of
Americans who are faithful to pray at least once a
week for the country and for the American people leading
into the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary. And you know,
I think that people have found out in a lot
of ways recently in the last several years, that you know,

(37:42):
there are genuine, real attacks on people of faith in
the United States, and that you know, I don't know
that there's room for faithful people to sort of.

Speaker 1 (37:51):
Not be involved. He brought a boy.

Speaker 9 (37:53):
Out on stage today, a young boy. You told this
horrible story actually about being forced by his school to
teach his kindergarten friend about how to transition genders. And
then when he said no, actually, I don't believe that
God made men and women. You can't transition genders, he
was actually bullied for his faith. I mean, that's the

(38:15):
kind of thing that's happening in America, all across America,
in any given school district, and so it's sort of
incumbent upon all of us as Americans to combat that.

Speaker 2 (38:25):
It's such an interesting verbue use bullying, because I do
think a lot of people of faith just feel like
they're under assault anywhere they look. Whether it is the
fear that something said at a church could impair tax
exempt status, or whether it's the COVID lockdowns impairing the
way people could gather to commune. That is something that

(38:47):
is very real in a lot of congregations in America today.
Do you think Trump positions himself in these remarks a
bit as the defender of the faith community against the
bullies who would attack a life style, in a way
of life that has built a very strong country for
the last two hudred and fifty years.

Speaker 9 (39:06):
I think he has, I mean one of the concrete
things that hasn't actually been published yet, but he sort
of teased this rule making that's going to be coming
out of the Department of Education that is supposed to
be protecting prayer in public schools. That's really important because again,
you know, these public schools are sort of the cesspool
where a lot of this anti religious and other sorts

(39:28):
of indoctrination are taking place. It remains to be seen
how that's going to be implemented. But if you look
at the playbook that he's had in trying to get
other things done, be it DEI or be it other
kind of transgender policies, you know they are not afraid.
President Trump is not afraid of using you know, the
federal funding, federal grant funding to say you're not going

(39:48):
to do this or else you're getting millions and millions
of dollars that help you function taken away from you
until you comply.

Speaker 2 (39:55):
It's interesting to see where faith voters sit in the
coalitions of American You think back to the nineties and
Bill Clinton would make appeals to faith voters. Democrats and
Republicans alike. Now, as you're covering the White House, do
you get the sense that this is space that is
almost uncontested for the Republicans or do you observe that

(40:17):
there are Democrat politicians or liberal forces that are also
making meaningful appeals for the faith voter.

Speaker 1 (40:26):
You know, that's an interesting question.

Speaker 9 (40:27):
I don't know that I have seen kind of left
wing politicians or even maybe modern Democrats wherever whatever rock
sort of they exist under anymore, is making those appeals.
I remember, I grew up in Virginia. One of our
senators who's still a senator, Mark Warner, used to make
appeals like that way back in two thousand and eight,
but he no longer.

Speaker 1 (40:46):
Does you know one of our.

Speaker 9 (40:48):
Other senators was in the news Democrat as well, Tim Kaine,
who was almost the Vice president, for exactly this kind
of attack. I mean, he's a man who claims to
be a Christian, and he also a long time been
a proponent of this idea. Is like, oh, well, you know,
I'm pro life personally, for example, but you know, policy wise,
that's really not my call. I don't think people buy

(41:10):
that anymore. Tim Kaine said that, you know, our fundamental
rights don't come from God, and to believe that is like,
you know, you're in a theocratic, fascist regime or something
like that. And you know, I think that if anyone
has a basic elementary reading of the Founding and of
the Constitution, they are going to see a pretty different story.

(41:33):
The founders were very clear. The Constitution was written for
a Christian people. It is supposed to be maintained through
time by a Christian people, and there's really not much
getting around that reckon these.

Speaker 2 (41:46):
White House correspondent for the Federalist from the White House,
thank you for joining us and sharing your reflections on
the president's big speech.

Speaker 1 (41:54):
Thank you, Matt.

Speaker 2 (41:55):
And coming up, we'll check in on the Minneapolis mayoral
race with Liz Collin. You won't leave the allegations of
election interference, but they're made against Democrats, directed to Democrats.
It's a wild story and we'll have it for you next.

Speaker 6 (42:18):
Hey, if your cable provider doesn't offer one America News Network,
you should give them a call and kindly demand that
they carryan Now you're the customer, and without your feedback,
your cable provider will not note. There is a strong

please call your cable company today and kindly ask or

(42:43):
demand that they add ANN to their channel lineup.

Speaker 4 (42:51):

Speaker 2 (44:23):
Today we returned to our coverage of Minneapolis, Minnesota, the
city that became the center of violence and oddly misplaced
calls for social justice following the death of George Floyd.
George Floyd died with fentanol in his system. Regrettably, police

(44:44):
officer Derek Shalvin was convicted of murder in this episode.
To us that verdict seemed more based on emotion than fact.
Minnesota's Mayor Jacob Frye responded like this, at the.

Speaker 1 (44:54):
Funeral of a man he never met, O.

Speaker 8 (45:00):
The park.

Speaker 7 (45:04):
TRAMPO they.

Speaker 4 (45:07):
Always a friend.

Speaker 2 (45:13):
What a bizarre performance, But it may take the acting
job of Mayor Fry's career to survive politically. Now enter
on the scene Omar Fete, a Democrat socialist who wants
to replace the Democrat incumbent Mayor. Fete won the official
endorsement of the Democratic Party in July, but then somehow
since has lost it. There were allegations of voting irregularities,

(45:35):
the endorsement was rescinded. Now the party isn't officially endorsing
anyone to us, it really is hilarious when Democrats can't
run elections. They often accuse Conservatives of being election deniers,
but from the Minneapolis mayoral contest to the Iowa caucuses
of twenty twenty, they're.

Speaker 1 (45:53):
A bit of a mess.

Speaker 2 (45:54):
Returning to the show with more coverage on this story
as senior producer and investigative journalist for Alpha News, Liz Colin. So, Liz,
we're watching some of the key mayoral races around the
country because they show where the Democratic Party is going,
where our inner cities are going. What's the state of
play in this Minneapolis race.

Speaker 7 (46:13):
Yeah, Matt, thanks for having me back on the latest
here on the race for Minneapolis mayor now less than
two months away. The local Minneapolis DFL unit, so that
is the Democratic Farmer Labor Party as it stands for
here in Minnesota. So it's now saying it wants the
endorsement to again go back to Democratic Socialist State Senator
Omar Fate. It was earlier in the summer, if you

(46:35):
recall when the state party unit rescinded its endorsement of
Fete to the relief I should mention of incumbent Minneapolis
Mayor Jacob Frye. He is running for a third term
against Fate. There were all kinds of issues that we
reported on at the night of the convention when that
DFL endorsement went to Fete. So the party statewide decided

(46:56):
to pull the endorsement. Well, now the local unit says,
not so fast. Reconsider we wanted to go back for Fete.
But he is calling for attacks on wealthy Minneapolis residents,
has supported defunding the police in the past, calling for
a twenty dollars minimum wage, a laundry list of progressive
ideals that he is pushing in Minneapolis.

Speaker 2 (47:18):
Man, is there a core leftist critique of fry that
I'm missing? What is the thing the incumbent Democrat mayor
is done to so gravely upset the Democrats?

Speaker 1 (47:30):
Socialists?

Speaker 7 (47:32):
You know, it's a good question. He has actually gone
to battle with many of the socialists, self claimed socialists
on the city council, so he has upset them and
they are backing Fete for mayor. Fete is in his
second term as a state senator in Minnesota, so he

(47:55):
is known in political circles as well. Seems that the
fundraising are certainly that the incumbent Minneapolis Mayor, Jacob Frye
has I think it's about a two to one, has
outraised Fete in the race. But it has been interesting
to see just the DFL pushing, going, going ahead and
pulling I should say, that endorsement and now perhaps they'll

(48:17):
be reconsidering.

Speaker 2 (48:19):
Yeah, we see a Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and other prominent
figures getting big mad at Fete not maintaining the endorsement entirely.
What do you think that in fighting means for the
Democratic Party and just their their ability to proceed as
one unit in Minneapolis.

Speaker 7 (48:38):
Well, that's really been interesting. A lot of people have said,
you know, the Minneapolis sure it's blue, but it's also
been controlled by moderate Democrats in the past. But we've
seen really seen that ramp up in the wake of
George Floyd really going much more to the left. We've
seen it on the city council and other local elections

(48:59):
as well. So this will be quite telling again the
election less than two months away now in Minneapolis. But
it's been interesting just talking to even people in Republican
circles in Minneapolis. Did they have to sort of secretly
endorse Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry? Is that what this has
come to, just to keep some sort of sanity, if

(49:20):
you can call it that, after everything that that's taken place,
and you know, really that chaos continues under the watch
of Jacob Fry, But it seems to be that people
are worried that it's going to get much worse should
Fatigue go ahead and be successful on November fourth.

Speaker 2 (49:37):
Well, and the reason we're covering this is there is
a bit of pattern recognition here, right. We see in
New York people who like would have burned Governor Cuomo
in effigy now having to bite their lower lip and say, well,
maybe we have to vote Cuomo to avoid zoron Monbomni.
And now in Minneapolis, another major metropolitan area, you've got

(50:00):
conservatives maybe linking up with the current incumbent mayor just
because that is less scary than the alternative. I guess
with this type of infighting in the Democratic Party, do
Republicans in Minneapolis see any lane for a more conservative
or moderate choice, or do they have to roll with
the incumbent mayor? As the only real alternative to Fataise socialism.

Speaker 7 (50:23):
I think there are five different candidates, actually I should
say fifteen different candidates running for mayor. These seem to
be that the two most likely choices. There's also ranked
choice voting, which creates a bit of a problem I
think for many people concerned about this election as well.

Speaker 1 (50:40):
The way that all works.

Speaker 7 (50:42):
But I agree, I think there's a lot of conversations.
Perhaps they're happening more offline than then coming out publicly,
but there is definitely concern about this city's future, no
doubt about that, especially after everything that has transpired here
over the last five years.

Speaker 2 (50:58):
Liz Collins, Senior produce, Sir and investigate reporter for Alpha News.
Thanks for coming on the program and sharing your reporting.

Speaker 7 (51:05):
Thank you, Matt.

Speaker 2 (51:07):
And coming up, there is breaking news regarding claims from
the White House that the parent company for Fox News.
You got that right, The parent company for Fox News
is being accused by the Trump White House of lying
about President Trump. And that comes amid some other allegations
being made against Fox News regarding the competitive media landscape.

Speaker 1 (51:30):
We'll talk about it all next.

Speaker 2 (51:31):
Don't go anywhere, I assure you it will be spicy.

Speaker 4 (51:41):
Hey everyone, here's a question for you.

Speaker 2 (53:46):
Ever, we have breaking news tonight. A senior official in
the Trump White House is taking aim at NewsCorp, the
parent company for The Wall Street Journal, The New York Post,
and Fox News. Taylor Buddowitch is the White House Deputy
Chief of Staff. I know him very well, having worked

(54:08):
with him during the Trump campaign. He's one of the
President's closest and most trusted advisors. He's a brilliant guy,
a former spokesperson for President Trump, and a very calculating
operator in the information domained. Deputy Chief of Staff Taylor
Buddowich has accused News Corp, The parent company of Fox
News of defamation against the president. They are being accused

(54:29):
of lying about President Trump. The Wall Street Journal published
this bizarre image claiming its correspondence between Trump and Jeffrey Epstein,
And of course it isn't because the signatures don't even match.
President Trump love sending handwritten notes I've received many over
the years. What the Wall Street Journal has published is
of course nonsense. So what does it mean for the

(54:51):
viewers of Fox News that their parent company is being
accused of lying about the president? Also, Fox News is
facing a lawsuit from Newsmax, a lit judging that Fox
is using anti competitive practices to stop major carriers from
distributing and paying channels like Newsmax fairly.

Speaker 1 (55:08):
We will have a lot to say.

Speaker 2 (55:10):
About Newsmax's claims and how we think about media riites
in the modern age in the coming days.

Speaker 1 (55:15):
Suffice to say.

Speaker 2 (55:15):
For now, we agree with the White House that what
NewsCorp Has done is wrong and in a fair marketplace
where viewers might see that the parent company to Fox
News is being accused of lying about the President and
might want to change the channel to an alternative, that
it might go a long way to explain the allegations

(55:38):
in Newsmax's lawsuit that Fox News is taking extraordinary steps
to make sure that there isn't an alternative that in
some places.

Speaker 1 (55:46):
You can't change the channel.

Speaker 2 (55:48):
Even if Fox News's parent company is accused of lying
about President Trump from the White House itself, our coverage
will indeed continue. That's all the time we have for
this program. Will be back tomorrow, nine eastern, sixth Pacific.
One very important programming note. Tomorrow night we will air
my exclusive interview with Vice President jd Vance. We will

(56:10):
discuss the Trump Vance Administration's efforts to end wars abroad,

I’m Jay Shetty host of On Purpose the worlds #1 Mental Health podcast and I’m so grateful you found us. I started this podcast 5 years ago to invite you into conversations and workshops that are designed to help make you happier, healthier and more healed. I believe that when you (yes you) feel seen, heard and understood you’re able to deal with relationship struggles, work challenges and life’s ups and downs with more ease and grace. I interview experts, celebrities, thought leaders and athletes so that we can grow our mindset, build better habits and uncover a side of them we’ve never seen before. New episodes every Monday and Friday. Your support means the world to me and I don’t take it for granted — click the follow button and leave a review to help us spread the love with On Purpose.
