Speaker 1 (00:00):
Texas Democrats are on the run from their legislative duties.
The top lawman in the Lone Star State, Attorney General
Ken Paxton, joins me. In moments plus, Israel has made
the decision to occupy Gaza. We have the father of
one of the hostages being held by Hamas on the
program Tonight to react to his government's latest moves. And
Ace investigative journalist Natalie Winters has busted a vast American

(00:22):
enterprise helping the Chinese Communist Party buy up farmland in
our country. She'll name names of former ambassadors and congressmen
helping the effort Tonight, and a Florida lawmaker is speaking
out about animal cruelty.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
It's all on the Matt Gates Show. Let's do this.
We're shaking up Washington, d C. We're breaking the fever.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Do you haven't watch this guy in television.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
It's like a machine. He's great. Matt gags as we
join you this evening.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Democrat lawmakers have left their home state of Texas and
now maybe on the run from the long arm of
the law. This isn't just a Texas story. It is
a key battle in the war for control of Congress.
If Democrats take control of Congress, that's going to have
an impact everywhere.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
So let's dig in.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
The core dispute here is about congressional redistricting. Texas Republicans
drew up congressional maps that could yield Republicans five more
seats in Congress. Now, the current Republican majority is only
four seats, so a five seat swing is massive. And
why does that majority matter? Well, it's what stops the
Trump administration from getting harangued by the likes of Jamie Raskin.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
You guys have been taken over by an absolute con man,
and now you're acting like members of a religious cult
who don't even remember how you got in in.

Speaker 5 (01:42):
The first place.

Speaker 4 (01:43):
You ask why he's so determined to stay in office
that he would unleash violence against his own vice president.
Why would he do that. It's because it was a
money making operation. It was a great business grift for
a guy who went bankrupt several times. This is our government,
this is our constitution, and we're going to stay for
it against Donald Trump and anybody who follows into the

(02:03):
path of oblivion.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
I think we can all agree that we're better off
if Jimmie Raskin's office is in the dark recesses of
the Capitol, and he never enters the chairman suite or
is given a gavel to wield or an agenda to set.
In the Texas lawmaking body, Republicans hold about eighty eight seats,
but getting one hundred people to put their rear ends
actually in those seats to vote is required for a quorum.

(02:26):
The chairman of the Texas Freedom Caucus, Briscocaine, explained that
they only need about six more Democrats to show up
for work and that if they don't, they need to
be stripped of their office. Do you believe Governor Abbott
should remove Democrats who don't return for quorum?

Speaker 6 (02:41):
Call absolutely those seats to be declared vacant.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
We can leave that up to juiciary on how that's done.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
The House unanimously issued civil arrest warrants for the absent Democrats,
valid only within Texas. That's important because they've gone elsewhere.
But if they come back to Texas state law enforce
is authorized to bring them back to their desk and
their job. Attorney General Ken Paxton announced plans to file
quote warento petitions. Those are legal actions to declare these

(03:10):
seats vacant, and if they don't appear by August eighth,
that could mean new elections in Texas. Texas Attorney General
Ken Paxton joins US. Now, General Paxton, give us the
state of play in Texas in this search you have
on going for your absconded Democrat lawmakers.

Speaker 7 (03:27):
Well, how ironic that they go to Illinois, in Massachusetts,
New York, where three states that are probably the most
jerry mannered in the country. Massachusetts is about forty percent
Republican voters and no Republican congressman. How jerry manner can
you get? And yet that's their complaint that somehow we're
doing something that is highly unusual in Texas.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
We're not.

Speaker 7 (03:47):
We're just trying to adjust for the massive population that
we've gotten from states like Illinois, in California, in Massachusetts.
So all we're doing is dealing with the population inflection
from those states.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Yeah, with everyone from those blue states coming to Texas,
I guess the road less traveled is from Texas there,
and that's where they are. But if someone wants to
make a rational, reasonable argument against maps, isn't the place
to do that in your lawmaking body where people can
debate and discuss and then vote. I think what a
lot of Americans don't really understand is this notion that

(04:21):
if you're not getting your way, you just get to
take your marbles and run to Chicago. What remedies does
the state of Texas have in that circumstance.

Speaker 7 (04:31):
So we're looking at a couple one. I mean, they
could have been locked in before they left. We didn't
do that. That would have been up to the Speaker
of the House. We can arrest them, the challenge being
that they're in a state where we have to go
into that state and get help from law enforce from there,
and you can imagine how hard that would be in
the states that they're in. We're also attempting on Friday,

(04:52):
if they do not show up, to start removing some
of these people from office. So we're doing the things
we can Otherwise in the past, they've done this two
other times, and by the way, this is the only
issue they ever leave on. We just outweigh them and
we continue to call special sessions. Got part can do
that and eventually they either get too cold, or they
have to come back and see their family or something.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Yeah, I don't know what would be worse punishment being
arrested and brought to a jail in Texas or having
to stay in Chicago. It's almost like punishment itself that
they've gone there. But your office has talked about the
filing of quo warrento petitions. Can you walk us through
the operational effect of that. Could supervisors of elections or

(05:36):
could your state election officials actually start calling for elections
to replace these people on extended vacation.

Speaker 7 (05:43):
Yeah, so we have a we have a we were
going to follow this on Friday. We gave them until
Friday because that's when the speaker put it put a deadline,
So we need you back by Friday or they're going
to be consequences. So if we do not see them
return on Friday, we are going to file one of
these quot warntal actions against some of the legislators to

(06:04):
try to remove front them from office since they are
not accomplishing the mission for which they were sent, which
is to show up and vote.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
The financing network that has allowed these folks to take
plane rides and stay out of town has received some scrutiny.
If someone is paying to induce the lawmakers of Texas
to leave abandon their position to unlawfully frustrate the activities

(06:32):
of the legislative body. Could those financiers also be the
subject of some review by your office or other prosecutors.

Speaker 7 (06:40):
As a matter of fact, that had just happened. We
are in the process today of sending out they're like
almost civil investigative demands, interrogatories to ask. We oversee all charities,
so we are asking them to provide information on exactly
what you're talking about.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Are you concerned that or Pritzker, who's somewhat boasted about
being the host for these folks in Chicago, may be
involved in that financing effort?

Speaker 7 (07:08):
You know what, We're going to ask all the questions
and find out who's involved. Whether it's Better or Roork
whose organization seems to be very involved, that's where who
we're asking. But if there are others involved, we're going
to find out, and if it's legal, we're going to
push them towards being held accountable.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
I did want to ask you a question about another matter.
We are seeing President Trump's deportation agenda really really take
hold and achieve great success. They've had to target some
of the sanctuary jurisdictions with extra attention. Is that because
they're getting a lot of help and coordination and cooperation
from state officials like your office in places where you

(07:44):
don't want to be a sanctuary for illegals.

Speaker 7 (07:47):
That's exactly right. We do everything we can help them.
I think it's much easier in Texas to get cooperation
from our government. We have obviously dealt with the illegal
immigration from the Biden administration has been a major impact
on us, and so we want to do everything we
can to push these people back to their own countries.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
And what are you noticing at the border and with
your state law enforcement officials who are regularly interacting with
these immigration stakeholders.

Speaker 7 (08:14):
It's been I mean night and day. I mean from
the end of the Biden administration, we're still you know,
we were having hundreds of thousands of people coming across
the border to literally a trickle. As soon as President
Trump came into office. It is amazing what enforcement of
existing law can do, as opposed to the Biden administration
completely ignoring the law and saying, we don't care what

(08:37):
federal law says, We're going to import as many people
as we want. And that's exactly what they did.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Well you're running for the United States Senate right now
against a very powerful incumbent Republican. That's generally a challenge.
But John Corny, and your opponent, was very vocally against
President Trump's wall being constructed. He was one of the
leading opponents against the wall. Now that the wall is
yielding the effect that you just illuminated, how are Texans reacting.

Speaker 7 (09:04):
Look, Texans have been for the wall.

Speaker 8 (09:06):
They've been. It's one of the reasons President Trump is
so popular.

Speaker 7 (09:09):
We know that that works. Why John corn has been
such a vehement opponent of the wall when we know
it works, Unless you're for illegal immigration, I don't know
why you wouldn't want on a wall, But he sided
with the Democrats on that for years, and there are
plenty of clips of him saying just that that the
wall should not be built and that it's just a

(09:30):
it's a scheme.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Well, we wish you all the best in stopping the
illegal migrants from entering your state and then maybe bringing
back a few of your legislative migrants who have gone
to sanctuary jurisdictions in other places. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton,
thanks as always for joining the program.

Speaker 8 (09:48):
Yeah, thank you and.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Coming up, we will continue our reporting on the war
in Gaza. We have the father of Nimrod, Cohen Nimrod
is being held by Hamas in Gaza and his father
will react to the latest decisions by the Israeli government
to decide to ultimately occupy the Gaza Strip. Big interview
coming up, don't go anywhere.

Speaker 10 (11:50):
Hey, everyone, here's a question for you.

Speaker 9 (11:53):
What does Roku TV, Apple TV, and Amazon fireTV all
have in common. The answer is that all three platforms
offer you the ability to live stream One America News
Network from your Roku TV, Apple TV.

Speaker 10 (12:07):
Or Amazon Fire device.

Speaker 9 (12:09):
Simply go to the app store search out for AN,
then enjoy all the great programming offered by Olian, including
my show Real America.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
We return to our coverage of the war in Gaza,
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netsannah, who appears to have decided
to extend military control over the entire Gaza Strip, including
zones where hostages remain captive. Foreign policy expert Curt Mills
explained to us last evening. Netnyahu has a domestic political
motive to continue expanding hostilities, not peace.

Speaker 6 (12:49):
I think the goal here is Netnaho needs constant action.

Speaker 8 (12:54):
He needs to be seen doing something.

Speaker 6 (12:56):
Already, he's treated the political gains he got from the
Twelve Day War, and he needs a new theater, and
so that is the alleged occupation of Gaza. Then he'll
call in to Uncle Sam in Washington and try to
get concessions there.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
There are voices within Israel who think Netanyahu's actions are
bad for Israel. IDF Chief of Staff a Yala Zamir
and other senior officials oppose the plan, warning of operational risk.
Hostages are located in the areas planned for assault. Full
occupation could lead to sustained insurgency and heavy casualties. America

(13:36):
has learned this lesson in the costliest and bloodiest of ways.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
In the Middle East.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
The military is warning that occupation may become a trap
rather than a solution. Hostage families are publicly opposing military escalation.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
A mother on a.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
Hostage called operation she said it was a death sentence
for the captives. Think about that and the mother of
someone being held saying it's a death sentence. Israel now
reportedly controls about seventy five percent of Gaza. Yahutah Cohen's son,
Nimrod Cohen, was serving in an IDF force when Hamas
fighter has attacked his position and took him captive. He's

(14:12):
been held hostage for six hundred and seventy days. That's
almost two full years. Ju Huta Cohen rejoins our program. Now,
mister Cohen, your government has indicated a stronger desire to
occupy all of Gaza. That would require extensive military operations.
What do you think it would mean for your son.

Speaker 11 (14:31):
Well, that will require a real danger of the lives
of my son and the other leaving hostages.

Speaker 8 (14:39):
We are very concerned.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
And what would you like to see your government do
in this critical time?

Speaker 11 (14:45):
Well, very simple, ending the war and getting a hostage deal.
The only way to get a hostage deal, releasing all
of them, including my son, which is a soldier and
one of the youngest there is. Ending the war, well,
giving Haramas what he wanted, just to get the hostages,

(15:09):
and then my government can do whatever he likes with
the Gaza. I mean, Hamas needs to be eliminated at
least as an armed organization at the end, and he's
willing to do that so again, only ending the war
giving Haramas it's a so called victory, only for them

(15:31):
to leave their stand, leave their power in Gaza. That's
what it takes and that's what should be done. And
the concern is that NATANIAO is just looking the other way.
Nathaniel and I think Trump said that Tontania is working
from political interests for his own survival as a politician,

(15:56):
as a prime ministers, as a as an individual. And
this is our concern. It's actually not listening to us.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
Have you had the opportunity to meet with the Prime
minister or members of his government to express these concerns
about the safety of your family members held hostage.

Speaker 8 (16:14):
Of course we did it in the past.

Speaker 11 (16:16):
Last time was actually in Washington when Nathaniel was in
Washington about a month ago. There was a reception in
the Blairhouse the evening before he returned to Israel.

Speaker 8 (16:27):
We were there, we had a talk.

Speaker 11 (16:29):
With him and he was just saying loud and clear,
we're gonna talk about releasing all the hostages when the
deal would start.

Speaker 8 (16:38):
He was referring to the partial deal that was on
the table.

Speaker 11 (16:42):
Then, of course today there's no deal, there's no nothing,
even he declared that we're not going any more for
partial deal, emphasizing that the one who did want to
have this partial deal with in Saniello itself. So the
thing is he said that you're going to start talking
about releasing all the hostages after this partial deal with start.

(17:07):
The only thing missing was for this partial deal to start,
which he didn't and now it's off the table.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
And the fact that it didn't do you believe the
Prime Minister was being honest with you when he gave
you those representations about your son.

Speaker 8 (17:21):
Absolutely not, absolutely not.

Speaker 11 (17:24):
Through this nearly two years, Nathanielle was actually dealing with
sabotaging deals.

Speaker 8 (17:31):
That's what he was doing. The examples are noneberless. One example,
the main one.

Speaker 11 (17:39):
Is the beginning of September. The way to come down
the riots that came up after the six hostages were
murdered were assassinated at the end of August was to
do a diversion, which means that he actually, first of all,
he was insisting of not withdrawing for the Philadelphi Corridor.

(18:01):
Just to make it clear, Philadelphic Corridor is actually the
border between Gaza in Egypt. That was one way to
sabotage a deal, and to stick it deeper, he actually
let people from his office leak confidential document capturing Gaza
to a foreign media, foreign newspaper, the German Bill, just

(18:24):
to do a kind of a psychologic terror on us,
meaning to frighten us with an announcement that Sineoar when
he was alive then was actually planning to smuggle hostages
underneath the Philadelphic Corridor to Egypt and then to Iran,
which was a total lie.

Speaker 8 (18:43):
Sinewadi En wrote this document.

Speaker 11 (18:45):
Another mid rank officer or official in Hamas did it.

Speaker 8 (18:49):
And this was the way to.

Speaker 11 (18:52):
Make a diversion in the itary population to frighten people
main need for families, and I know some families were
frightened of that.

Speaker 8 (19:03):
I didn't believe it did the first it's the first
time involved.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
All of this must be so deeply frightening to you,
mister Cohen, and I can't imagine being in your shoes.
I'm sure our viewers can't either. But when you came
on our program previously, we did see some responses to
our interview where people said, well, we have great empathy
for mister Cohen and his family, but unless everyone is

(19:27):
wiped out of Gaza, and the place is entirely you know, repopulated,
and those people are moved, then more hostages will be
taken in the future. And I want to be clear,
that's not an argument, that's not a belief I hold,
but it's one enough people presented and I wanted to
give you the chance to respond.

Speaker 11 (19:44):
Okay, there is a talk saying there's going to be
another seventh of October. Well, first of all, this attack
could have been happening if Natania wasn't dealing with helping
financing Ramas, meaning helping Qatar bring money in cash, money
in cash to the gods speak.

Speaker 2 (20:04):
Yeah, And of course, just.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
To catch everyone up, you're referring to reporting that has
been widely distributed that when Qatar was looking to pull
back on their support for Hamas's governmental functions, that Netta
who actually encouraged the Golf monarchy to continue funding Hamas
out of the hope or belief that maybe that would
create some semblance of stability. I just I just want

(20:26):
everyone in the United States in our audience to understand
that's what you're describing.

Speaker 2 (20:29):
But please go ahead, mister Cohen.

Speaker 8 (20:30):
Yeah, yeah, that was the thing. He was normalizing Hamas.

Speaker 11 (20:34):
People in his government were saying Haramas is an asset
because they want to use Tramas as something that will
prevent uniting the Palestinian nation and pressing the tail.

Speaker 8 (20:48):
For the to deal solution to state solutions.

Speaker 11 (20:52):
Sorry, doesn't mean if you tried to wrong, that's not
the thing, but it's not the way to do it.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
You don't.

Speaker 8 (20:59):
Grow up your enemy.

Speaker 11 (21:00):
You don't support your biggest enemy who declares out loud
he wants to destroy you, just to prevent another political event. Secondly,
he even he ignored all the warnings about something is
gonna happen, plans, terrorist organization have Risvalayan Ramas.

Speaker 8 (21:20):
He was ignoring that.

Speaker 11 (21:22):
So actually he's responsible for those events. Now, those events
can be eliminated in a normal country, the state, in intelligence, army,
they know the enemy. Their job is to prevent this
enemy get into a position where they can launch an attack.
So she's saying like it's gonna be another seventh of October,

(21:46):
they're gonna take more hostages. Well, there was a long
time for Natanielle in particular, he was about twelve years
in power from twenty h nine to get rid of Fromas.

Speaker 8 (21:59):
And he didn't do it. He normalized from us.

Speaker 11 (22:02):
He never got to a position where he well, actually
intelligence gave them, gave him information that they can assassinate
while before the seventh of October, and he refused to
do it.

Speaker 8 (22:16):
Well, I so he was.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
Yeah, No, I mean there is certainly a series of
complex relationships and a lot of history and a lot
of ground you covered there. If you could give a
message to your son, who we pray for and we
certainly hope he's returned safety to your family, what would
be your message to your son and these trying times.

Speaker 11 (22:34):
Well, my message for my son, no, no chance is
gonna hear it. But I'll say it anyway, Nimrod. Even
though it's nearly two years twenty two months that you're
in captivity, we are still fighting. Will never give up.
We know you're there. You know, we know you're alive.
We have signs of life on you, so we know

(22:56):
you're there and we are fighting to get your release.

Speaker 8 (22:59):
We'll give up.

Speaker 11 (23:00):
We'll put every pressure possible on Attaniao to go for
a cease fire and get a hostage deal, hostage deal
so we can release you.

Speaker 1 (23:13):
We will, so we pray, we will certainly pray for
his release and we are so sorry that your family
must go through this. You Huta Cohen, a father of
Nimron Cohen, who is currently being held by Hamas and Gaza.
Thank you for rejoining our program.

Speaker 8 (23:26):
Thank you very much.

Speaker 1 (23:27):
And coming up, the Chinese Communist Party has a strategy
to take over farmland in the United States, but Americans
are helping them. Investigative reporter Natalie Winners has exposed that
American network working for the Chinese, and she's naming names
after quick break.

Speaker 9 (23:46):

Speaker 1 (25:59):
China on to America's farmland and there are a lot
of reasons we shouldn't give it to them. There's the
obvious national security interest we have and maintaining the ability
to produce our own food on our own land. China
has seemingly grown interested in US farming and food and production.
Chinese linked entities own about two thousand, I'm sorry, two

(26:21):
hundred and seventy seven thousand, three hundred and thirty six
acres of US agricultural land. It's about four times the
geography of Washington, d C. The bulk of Chinese holdings
stem from Smithfield Foods, a Virginia based port company, which
was acquired by China's.

Speaker 2 (26:36):
Wh Group in twenty thirteen.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
That deal included over one hundred and forty six thousand
acres of US farmland.

Speaker 2 (26:44):
President Trump sees danger in this trend.

Speaker 1 (26:46):
Last month, the federal government announced a nationwide ban on
farmland sales to Chinese and other foreign adversary linked buyers,
including potential clawbacks of existing holdings, especially near military installations.
At least twenty four states have enacted or proposed laws
limiting Chinese farmland ownership. A recent bill from Congresswoman Mary
Miller would require divestment or steep daily fines for non compliance.

(27:10):
Natalie Winners is White House correspondent and co host Abandon's
war Room, and she joins us. Now, Natalie, your substack
piece is amazing because it illuminates two things, China's desire
to dominate farmland ownership and then the Americans who are
helping them.

Speaker 2 (27:24):
So let's start with the first one.

Speaker 1 (27:26):
Talk about why buying US farmland is important to China.

Speaker 12 (27:31):
Well, I think it's seizing the means of production, and right, historically,
how you control a country, how you control a populace,
is by controlling what they eat. And obviously they're going
after these farms in part because I think we learned
through COVID supply chain security as national security, so that's
partly where their interest derives from. But also the location
of a lot of the farms that they're buying up

(27:52):
or you know, conveniently. I'm sure no conspiracies, no coincidences
right up if not basically next to a lot of
US military installations and bases. So I think it's sort
of a twofold, if not really threefold thing where you
also just see the Chinese Communist Party wanting to expand
their footprint because if they can own a lot of
land here, it's easier for them to em better infiltrate

(28:13):
sleeper cells or otherwise. Now at least that are our
borders a little bit more secure. So it's a multifaceted issue.
But like you said, Americans enable it, right.

Speaker 1 (28:21):
So it's easy to understand why China wants this type
of leverage when you explain it that way, but it's
hard to understand why America would let them. And the
reason they are being successful is because there are powerful
Americans who felt positions in our government who are helping
them lay out that network for us.

Speaker 12 (28:38):
Well, look, I think the age old question that we
were always asking during the Biden years was, you know,
is it intentional or is it incompetent? And the answer
is always that it's intentional. These people are not though
they are fools, they're not destroying the country by accident.
And I think that this issue is quite illustrative of that.
For example, let's bring in a good person, Greg Frazier.

(28:59):
You've probably never heard of him. It's someone who worked
on a House Intel committee. He used to be pretty
high up at the USDA. Then he became a consultant
effectively for the Chinese Communist Party. Braggs in his bio
about how he went to Beijing and worked for them.
Now he's writing op eds throughout local media, particularly in Kansas,
saying that what you and I are discussing right now
is fear mongering and it's misguiding. Quote, China is not

(29:21):
a threat but an opportunity for America. This guy is
running around town saying that basically China should be able
to own farmland. But this is sort of the end
stage in what I call media warfare that China has
perpetuated and perpetrated against the American people. You have groups
like the US China Heartland Association, which is basically a
front group for the Chinese Communist Party. They take some

(29:43):
token Americans and slap them on the board. But they're
making contact, and it's very nefarious contact at that with
American mayors, state and local agriculture officials, elected politicians. And
they're even targeting, believe it or not, American college students,
paying to take them over on delegations to China to
propagandaize on their behalf and make our young leaders, our

(30:04):
future farmers think that Chinese ownership of farmland is a
good idea.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
I started following your exceptional investigative reporting when you would
write up former US officials who would take these emoluments
from China in exchange for lending credibility to the Chinese
Communist Party. Are there any former congressman who you have
identified as involved in this effort to help in the
acquisition of our farmland?

Speaker 10 (30:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 12 (30:30):
So, interestingly enough, one of the members of Congress currently
sitting on the Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party,
he actually spoke at an event sponsored by the US
China Heartland Association, and forgetting his name, it was not
totally linked to this piece, but Governor Bob Holden I

(30:52):
believe that Missouri is the co chair of this group
in its entirety. And like I said, this group is
slightly unique, Matt. I know a lot of my old
reporting has focused on how these old congressmen turn into
lobbyists for foreign countries. We should ban that while we're
at it. But USHCA is very unique and that instead
of going for federal officials, they're targeting state level, so

(31:15):
particularly mayors, governors, and even unelected positions. So people who
are you kind of the state liaison for agricultural affairs
working in the agricultural department. So this is very like
tailored access operation type kind of operations going on at
the hands of the Chinese Communist Party. Right, they always
prefer infiltration to invasion, and in this case, I think

(31:38):
they know that you get more bang for your buck,
there's more ROI if you go after these local officials.

Speaker 1 (31:45):
Well, we also saw former Congressman Mike Conaway, who was
chairman of the Agriculture Commissioner Agriculture Committee in Congress, emerge
in some of these ways and talk a little bit
about that tradecraft on the part of China to capture
the former officials in our government and then use them

(32:06):
to propagandize their broader goals.

Speaker 12 (32:09):
Well, it's really the idea of strangling us with our
own systems out to a quote that they like to
use and cite in their military code, and they really
exploit the fact that America is such an open system
and the fact that we are a little d democracy.
But I think the dirty little secret, as you know
all too well, is that China is going to only
employer put people on their payroll who, while they were

(32:31):
in office, did not strike a harsh tone or do
anything to undermine China's rise. Right, Why would they put
people who actually took a hard line against them, like
you on their payroll, it would make no sense. So
that's sort of the perverse and if not reverse incentive
that I think you see motivating a lot of the people,
like the gentlemen you just mentioned, is that they sort
of use their careers as this like holding pattern or

(32:52):
a test pattern where they're not doing anything positive for
the American people. They're just not trying to bite a
future hand that will feed them. And to this point,
China is very calculated in their approach QSF, which is
the China United States Exchange Foundation, which is similar to
this US China Heartland Association group. They're very adept in
their ability to target. They go after federal officials, so

(33:14):
particularly Congress, but they're not even just targeting members of
Congress and current sitting ones at that. They actually have
a special trip a program where they take congressional staffers
and they will fly them overseas to China, give them
a five star, all expenses paid tour where they'll show
them how great China is. Oftentimes they're touring companies that

(33:34):
are sanctioned like Dji Drones. A lot of their meeting
with Chinese officials and they'll even take students. Believe it
or not, the Congressional Black Caucus they actually send a
bunch of their constituents on a trip overseas to China,
and I obtained one of the testimonials from the students
who participated and upon return to is praising China as
quote an amazing communist country that will essentially or eventually

(33:57):
overtake the United States as the number one country. So
it's not just propaganda. I mean this is full blown
information warfare.

Speaker 1 (34:04):
She's got it all mapped out in her latest substack piece.
Natalie Winter's the co host for Bannon's War Room, also
the White House correspondent.

Speaker 2 (34:11):
Thank you for your terrific report.

Speaker 12 (34:13):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
You know what's rare these days, a pharmacy that's actually
on your side.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
I've been telling you about all family pharmacy.

Speaker 1 (34:20):
They just dropped prices by twenty five percent on two
of their most requested medications. I've remectin and men benzadol.
I've remectin capsule its. Our capsules are now just two dollars.
It's a big deal. If you need higher doses, if
you want a stock up, this is a way to
save money. They're doing it because they believe people should
have real access to the meds they want without prices
being jacked up. If you're someone who doesn't have insurance,

(34:42):
not a problem. You go online, You fill out a
short form, and a licensed doctor reviews it. Once approved,
your meds get shipped right to your door. It's simple, secure,
and puts control back where it belongs with you. They've
got over two hundred medications and they're working hard to
keep prices low. Go to All Family Pharmacy dot com
forward slash Matt, use code Matt ten, save an extra
ten percent. That's All Family Pharmacy dot com forward slash

(35:03):
Matt promo code Matt ten. And coming up, there is
a new take on how to deter and punish animal abusers.
Florida Representative Megan Weinberger is here to explain Natural quick Break. Hey,

they carry oan. Now you're the customer, and without your feedback,

or demand that they add o ANN to their channel lineup.

Speaker 10 (35:52):
Hey everyone, here's a question for you.

have the answer is that all three platforms offer you
the ability to live stream One America News Network from
your Roku TV, Apple TV, or Amazon Fire device. Simply

(36:58):
how can they watch OAN live. The solution is simple.
It's a streaming platform called cloud tv. Now it's spelled
klowd TV. Simply go to cloudtv dot com and subscribe

(37:18):

Speaker 1 (37:32):
Animal abuse it's one of the most heinous things we
can contemplate to harm. The innocence in an animal hearkens
evil from the darkest of souls. My mother taught me
at a young age that we can properly judge other
humans by how they treat animals. People who draw joy
from cruelty to animals can never be trusted.

Speaker 2 (37:50):
That is our code.

Speaker 1 (37:51):
But do we need a stronger criminal code to deal
with some of the most cruel abusers of animals?

Speaker 2 (37:57):
One flow to lawmaker think so?

Speaker 1 (37:59):
Representive of Meg Weinberger has a new piece out in
The Blaze arguing for a national animal abuser registry and
tougher loss to deter and punish abusers.

Speaker 2 (38:08):
She joins us now to make her case.

Speaker 1 (38:10):
Representative Weinberger, First, what was the act of animal abuse
that you were reviewing that brought you to this to
publish this great essay in The Blaze?

Speaker 13 (38:21):
A friend of mine last week sent me a horrible story.

Speaker 8 (38:24):
Lord Lumer actually.

Speaker 13 (38:25):
Sent it to me a man that drug his dog
down the street in New York gets kicked him to
death and then set him on fire right in the
middle of the city.

Speaker 2 (38:34):
That is horrendous.

Speaker 1 (38:35):
What do you think we need to do from a
legal standpoint at the state or federal level to deter
and punish these abusers.

Speaker 13 (38:43):
Well, I think we need to set examples of these situations.
This is not just you know, they're not stopping at animals.
These are you know, these people are monsters that if
you're capable of doing you know, this to a vulnerable animal,
you're capableble of doing this to anybody.

Speaker 12 (38:58):
You know.

Speaker 13 (38:59):
We in the Florida legislator we did pass an animal
Cruelty database, which will put your name on a database.
But I'm hoping to take it one step further, and
I would love for it to be federal where your
name goes on a database and you're also not allowed
to own an animal any longer.

Speaker 1 (39:16):
The Florida database is that searchable by anyone, it will be.

Speaker 13 (39:20):
Yes, it will be up and running in January of
twenty twenty six.

Speaker 2 (39:23):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (39:23):
I cannot wait to do deeply cruel things to the
people on the Animal Cruelty database of course, nothing illegal
or criminal, but you believe that a federal database base
would be helpful. Are you talking to any federal lawmakers
about those opportunities?

Speaker 13 (39:39):
I haven't yet, but thank you for helping me to
get on a platform. Well maybe somebody will listen, because
I think this is really important. These are you know,
Jeffrey Dahmer was mutilating animals before he started mutilating humans.
And there's a list of serial killers that you know,
have horribly you know, abused animals before they went on

(39:59):
to kill and savagely you know, hurt humans. So I
think it's important for us to just step.

Speaker 1 (40:05):
Up, yeah, and maybe talk to the bipartisan nature of
some of the reform efforts that you've been leading in Florida.

Speaker 2 (40:11):
Is this something you think.

Speaker 1 (40:11):
Can help divide and otherwise I'm sorry, help you night
an otherwise pretty divided body politic.

Speaker 13 (40:18):
Yeah, I feel like a lot of issues are bipartisan.
I mean this of course brings you know, I've been
rescuing animals pretty much my whole life. I've never had
a dog or a cat or a horse. Ask me
you know what party I belonged to. They just wanted
to be to be taken care of, to be loved
and cared for. And I think it's our job to
do that, to care for our foster children, to care

(40:40):
for our animals, and honestly and to really educate people
on the proper care of animals. You know, it's not
okay to tie them up and leave them outside in
a one hundred and four degrees temperature with you know,
no water or food for days. You know, many things
that seem like common sense to me, and you are
not to others.

Speaker 8 (40:57):
Sadly.

Speaker 1 (40:58):
Well, Meg Weinberger, we are glad you are leading the
fight in the Sunshine State and around the nation to
bring attention to these important matters, and we hope they're
successful and that you'll come back and update on us
in the future.

Speaker 13 (41:08):
Okay, absolutely, thank you so much, Matt, have a good one.

Speaker 1 (41:11):
Thank you, And coming up, we take a deep dive
into one of the rising campaigns of a candidate for
California governor.

Speaker 2 (41:16):
Back after a quick break.

Speaker 10 (41:23):
Hey, everyone, here's a question for you.

Speaker 9 (41:25):
What does Roku TV, Apple TV, and Amazon fireTV all
have in common. The answer is that all three platforms
offer you the ability to live stream One America News
network from your Roku tv, Apple TV.

Speaker 10 (41:40):
Or Amazon Fire device.

Speaker 9 (41:42):
Simply go to the app store search out for an,
then enjoy all the great programming offered by OIEN, including
my show Real America.

Speaker 10 (41:55):
Hey, did you know that video.

Speaker 9 (41:56):
Clips from my program Real America and all the other
toalk shows offered by One America News Network are available
to you for free on oaan n dot com. You
can also enjoy the latest in breaking news videos by
visiting oaan n dot com. Make sure you stay informed
and visit oann dot com daily. And if you'd like

(42:17):
to show support and wear some support for One America
News Network, then visit our online store for the latest shirts,
hats and mugs. Viewers are always asking me how can
they watch OAN live? The solution is simple. It's a
streaming platform called cloud tv. Now it's spelled klowd TV.

(42:40):
Simply go to cloudtv dot com and subscribe to watch
twenty four to seven live feeds of OAN. The live
package is only two dollars and fifty cents per month
for all you can watch. Again, simply go to cloudtv
dot com and do it today. Did you know that
One America News Network has launched a twenty four to

(43:03):
seven Twitter like social media replacement. We're calling it free
Talk forty five. So why is it branded free talk
forty five. Well, free talk because you will not be
censored for expressing your opinion there, and forty five because
forty five is a really lucky number. So join us
at free Talk forty five and express yourself with no

(43:26):
fear of cancelation.

Speaker 1 (43:28):
Ever, the Republican field in California's scubernatorial race is starting
to get more crowded than the homeless encampments on skid Row.
We've had several of the candidates on the show, including
Sheriff Chad Bianco, Steve Hilton, Leo Zaki. Over this last weekend,
another candidate threw his hat into the ring, Pastor chay On.

(43:50):
He's the founder of Harvest Rock Church and Pasadena and
president of the Harvest International Ministry, which oversees twenty thousand
churches and missions in sixty nations worldwide. In twenty twenty,
he got attention by Suing Governor Gavin Newsom over his
unfair COVID nineteen restrictions around religious gatherings, and this pastor one.
It was hailed as a huge victory for religious freedom,

(44:12):
not just in California, but around the nation. Our team
went to Pastor Chase announcement in Pasadena this weekend to
see what kind of appetite there was for a religious
leader to run a liberal state like California.

Speaker 2 (44:23):
Take a listen and enjoy.

Speaker 5 (44:24):
Though you might not recognize it these days, California is
a state rooted in faith. Franciscan missionaries in the seventeen hundreds,
led by Father hu Nipos Sera, built the state's famous
missions from San Diego to San Francisco. Its state capital
literally means the sacrament. California has ignited revivals that spread nationwide,

(44:48):
including the Azusa Street Revival of nineteen oh three and
more recently, the Jesus Revolution of the nineteen sixties. Some
believe the state is a working on yet another great awakening.
Is California ripe for change? Can this deep blue stronghold
actually elect a religious leader.

Speaker 14 (45:10):
I'm Vish Burrow here with One American News and we
are in Old Pasadena in Northeast Los Angeles for chay
On's official campaign launch for governor of California. He's running
as a Republican. He is the pastor for Harvest Rock
Church and he is announcing his campaign today. So we

(45:30):
spoke to some of the the campaign launch attendees. We
spoke to shay On himself. Here's what they had to say.
What is the most important issue you think that needs
to be addressed by a possible governor on.

Speaker 15 (45:43):
I think finances for me personally as Texas small business owners,
to be able to keep them his small businesses. Right now,
I feel like our government has a target on small
businesses to close them down instead of supporting the American
dream to be able to have your own small business
and provide for your family and to have the quality
of life. We'd be a lot to live in California

(46:03):
and we should be able to have to afford a home.
So I believe that for a governor's important to make
the cost of living in California affordable.

Speaker 16 (46:11):
Number One, Parental rights are completely under attack in California
and have been for years. Medical freedom is also being
trampled upon left and right when the mandates came out.
But that's not the only thing. It's children are being
impacted both at school at home by the terrible policies
that are removing print rights and also you know, harming

(46:33):
them with the you know medical mandates that come on them.
And my third thing is religious freedom right now. That
is also something that's under assault, both nationwide and in
the state of California.

Speaker 17 (46:44):
There's evidence that even La County is fifty percent conservative,
and when I ran for Senate, we had twenty percent
of non Republicans voting for us. So it's turning because
things are getting it's too difficult for families here.

Speaker 18 (47:01):
If said candidate were to address the ninety nine percent
of absolutely useless state level employees, what we can do
with that is we can actually eliminate California state income
tax because we wouldn't have to pay these useless people
to be leeches on society. So I think a lot
of young people and older people would be very excited
to hear that they don't have to pay California state
taxes anymore.

Speaker 19 (47:20):
I think I speak for a lot of Californians that
the cost of living is just way too high and
it's hard to live here. We have so many people
moving out of this state because they can't afford house prices,
they can afford rent, they can't afford food, The gas
prices are out of control. We have crime that's rampant.
Is all of those things just bald into one that
we have been mismanaged in California for I don't know

(47:43):
the last thirty years, and it's really coming to a head.

Speaker 5 (47:46):
Those who came out to hear Pastor Schay's announcement might
have differing issues driving them, but one common theme throughout
the event was religious freedom, something they saw stripped from
them by Governor Gavin Newsom during the COVID pandemic.

Speaker 20 (48:04):
And I serve as bishop tow one hundred and thirty
churches here in southern California, and so I was the
first one to sue Governor Newsom during twenty twenty COVID.
The first case that the Supreme Court heard and ruled
on was our case. And I had eleven federal court
rulings in eleven months, fourth the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals,

(48:26):
and three at the US Supreme Court. So I met
che On when we went to the Supreme Court the
second time, and our case was before them, and his
case arrived a few days later. Basically, the bottom line,
the Supreme Court ruled, if there's ever something so extreme
that everything has to close, churches will be the last
to close. And when things begin to reopen, churches to

(48:47):
be the first to reopen, rather than Newsom's approach, which
was closed churches first. And when he was asking his
press conference of reopen California why churches were left out,
he said, well, we don't know what to do with churches.
But I'll tell you what, whenever they do be allowed
to open, they'll never go back to normal. The Supreme
Court said, no, no, that's discrimination. You can't do that.

Speaker 14 (49:06):
Why do you think that there's such a driving force
of pastors behind pastors are on.

Speaker 20 (49:10):
There is a divine shift taking place in California that
is exemplified by the pastors showing up for the first
time in generations. Pastors are getting off the sidelines and
getting in the political arena because it's not about politics
and partisan It's not what it's about. I'm not here
to promote Republican I'm not here to repote represent a democrat.

(49:31):
I'm here to promote christocraticans, people who want America to
go back to its origins. The similar reason America was
founded is so people could freely worship the God of
the Bible, not to promote a particular religion, particular church,
but the general truth that every liberty we have hangs
on that liberty. If religious liberty falls, your right to
as symbol falls, your right to free speech falls, the

(49:52):
right to oppress falls. Everything hinges on that, and that
was challenged during COVID. It was a wake up call.
We never listen when in the history of America has
anyone ever had to choose between obeying God or government.
That has never happened until COVID, And it was a
wake up call. And we had to stand up and say, no,
we want to obey government in everything because God or

(50:14):
Dan's government. But when government forces us to make make
a choice, you're gonna obey us or God. We have
to stand like Daniel and say, well, I'm sorry, we're
gonna obey God. And so you're seeing pastors get off
the sidelines like me.

Speaker 16 (50:26):
Think so many pastors until now didn't realize how important
it was for them to get involved in politics and
on these issues in the public square. To see them
all these pastors rising and standing, to me, that's so
symbolic for restoring back to a state like California. Faith
and freedom and those things go together. Faith and freedom.

Speaker 5 (50:49):
I caught up with pastor Cheyon just after his announcement speech,
So why do you want to run.

Speaker 14 (50:55):
For California government? I believe it's God Sowell.

Speaker 3 (50:59):
God called me running way and so I've had for
the Vetsburg for the states, have two grandchildren, and I'm
thinking about legacy. How are we going to lead a
state that is the wealthiest. But right now we're twenty
eight billion dollars a deficit. The economy is a mess.
We having moral refineries, two major ones Phillips seventy six

(51:22):
about twenty twenty six next year, and we need we
need the energy to help the economy. And let you
see if things were going from Batchelors. So I feel
a responsibility to run.

Speaker 14 (51:34):
So what do you think is the most important issues
to California's right now that need to be addressed in
this next cycle for government?

Speaker 3 (51:40):
Well, well this sounds but his faith. The reason why
I say that is because I really.

Speaker 8 (51:44):
Want to call it the church to repent.

Speaker 3 (51:47):
And it's based on Second Chronicle seven fourteen says I
my people.

Speaker 2 (51:50):
Not the world, but my people are called by my name.

Speaker 3 (51:52):
Behold themselves in praise of my face, and turn from
their wicked ways. Then I'll hear from Heaven forgive their
sense and heal the land. I believe God's blessing is
directly corresponds to the church repent them and becoming the
church welcome in love and being activist because the Bible
says and Daniel eleventh through or to those who know
they're God and who take actually be strong to take action.

(52:15):
And I really want their church to come forth because
we've been really passive. We have more evangelicals in California
than any other state in Southern Texas, but fifty percent
of them be even registered to vote. And the fifty
percent who are registered, we won't vote. And they just
don't want jury duty. They just this no civic sens,
civic responsibility.

Speaker 9 (52:36):
It's going to want to awaken that.

Speaker 3 (52:37):
I want them to stroll with your as I I'm
an immigrant that came as as your product and taking
the citizens, and I feel that we need to rise
up as citizens and take responsibility for our state.

Speaker 14 (52:50):
And and so you know, you you're a strong soldier
for Christ, and you talk about compassion as being part
of you know, God's purview and his disposition towards the people,
and homelessness is.

Speaker 2 (53:02):
One of the biggest issues here.

Speaker 14 (53:03):
In California right now.

Speaker 5 (53:05):
Do you have.

Speaker 14 (53:05):
Any solutions, compassionate solutions to how to address the homelessness crisis.

Speaker 3 (53:10):
Yes, I do, And I know this is going to
sound radical, but I was a drug addict. I was
almost I was a high school dropout at Day Avery seventeen.
And I know how to fix that. And the answer
is the Gospel of the Kingdom must be preached the
whole world Testament to every nation, and then Jesus Christ
will come back. And what that means in Matthew twenty four,

(53:31):
verse fourteen, that they answer to all the problems as
a good news of Jesus Christs, they change me. I can.
I was delivered from drug addiction in one day. And
I'm not saying that's the way. Everyone's more by the
power of the Gospel to changes lives. And so we
need to have You know, the government is good about
giving a non profitaborization of clients, but they can't preach

(53:54):
the gospel. There has to be some kind of practical
put service that they have to separate the Gospel from
being present. And you're what I'm going to do as
a governor to say this changed my mind and I
want to have a personal organization, not secondar but prisonal organization,
to have a freedom to share the gospel and decipher
these people off the streets and become responsible citizens sometimes became.

Speaker 14 (54:18):
So there's a crowded field for the Republican nomination for
governor of California right now? How are you going to
stand out? What's going to separate you from the path?
Why are you over the other candidies?

Speaker 2 (54:30):
Well, I like the candidies.

Speaker 3 (54:31):
I like Steve Hillton, I like charch chat Bianco. But
the difference is is that I'm going to appeal to Heaven.
I'm going to ask God for mercy upon this notion
and this specific state. And as a pastor, as a
pastor for forty six years, walking with the way for
fifty two years, I feel all that I can involvelize
your church to repent, to pray, and then.

Speaker 2 (54:55):
To blow debthly.

Speaker 14 (54:57):
And so are you going to be seeking President Trump's
endorsement in this race?

Speaker 20 (55:01):
You know what I will?

Speaker 3 (55:03):
Of course I would love to have his endorsement, but
I'm not banking on that. I feel I have God's endorsement,
and I feel called to do what I'm called to do.
I've had the privilege of meeting President of Trump three times.
He probably won't remember he met so many people. And
now the privilege of praying for HIV had a three
hundred pastors in Atlanta in October the twenty second. I

(55:25):
was asking like Angeline and pray from But then I
got invited to the White House on the National Leader
of Prayer, which was a real run. And so I'm
hoping to meet with him. I'm hoping that David endorse me,
but again I feel that it's not based on any
bands of feedball. It's really God's Mandy for me, and

(55:45):
I'm just trying to.

Speaker 2 (55:46):
Do the will to go in the fear of the move.

Speaker 14 (55:48):
And one more question for you, sir. So you're a
pastor and an entrepreneur, you haven't really done politics before,
but as a as a Christian, I want to get
your perspective because a lot of people say politics is
a dirty game, and it's really a lot of nasty
people who participate in this game we call politics.

Speaker 2 (56:07):
How are you going to rise about that? How are
you going to navigate that? As a Christian?

Speaker 4 (56:11):
Well?

Speaker 3 (56:11):
Absolutely, and you know it's just a totally it's like
being a surgeon and all of a sudden, God calls
you to go to law school. It's a total different field.
I've never had any kind of political training, never been
in office. But I do believe God's word and God
Spirit has the answer. I believe that he will give
me wisdom. I'm a fast learner and become my master's

(56:32):
and my doctor at Felish Seminary. I was a straight
a student and I feel that that's.

Speaker 8 (56:36):
Given me a good mind to learn.

Speaker 3 (56:39):
And the most important thing is to get good cable
into the administration. I had the privilege of designing few
thousand once I become government, and I really want to
have some professionals who have experience and most importantly it
help bang. It's very similar to my biblical values to
be a position at leadership, and so I know it's
a monumental thing to run, but I think by God

(57:02):
squares soon. I look at President jump Vison example from
a proposition.

Speaker 8 (57:06):
We we have great talk Wes joining.

Speaker 3 (57:07):
Now and so I do feel at what he's looking
for is some people who are serving leaders, people have courage.
I shoot guard News and twenty penny two twenty let's
you know during the comings lockdown, and I feel that
I will stand helpful to build for questions leader are true,

(57:28):
but I'm going to open listing and movie compassion and
speak the truth. Fem could be so piscating your stuff.

Speaker 20 (57:35):
Thank you so much, miser on and good luck on her.

Speaker 2 (57:37):
