Speaker 1 (00:00):
Tonight, we're on location in our nation's capital. It's been
roughly one year since the two assassination attempts on President
Trump's life, and we have a lot of unanswered questions.
Internet sleuth Mike Bens is here. He will make sure
we've got all of the links connected. We also have
Eduardo Bolsonaro. He's the son of Brazil's persecuted ex president.
He'll dish on Lula's tyranny and the unjust persecution against

(00:21):
his father as Brazilians take to the streets. Russia collusion
expert and former chief of staff to President Trump, Mark
Meadows is here to talk about the treats and his conspiracy,
orchestrated by Barack Obama and Sharks, are causing a big
enough problem for anglers in the Gulf of America that
Congress is stepping in and Ice wants you to join
to save the country.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
It's all next on the Matt Gates Show. Let's do this.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
We're shaking up Washington, d C.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
We're breaking the fever.

Speaker 4 (00:46):
You haven't watch his guy on television.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
It's like a machine.

Speaker 5 (00:50):
He's great.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Matt Gates.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
It's been three hundred and eighty seven days and someone
tried to kill President Truy in Butler, Pennsylvania, and three
hundred and twenty three since that effort was repeated by
Ryan Routh in Florida. And yet what do we actually
know about these people and who they were interacting with?
Very little more about the amount of baby oil did
he had in his bathroom than we know about the
people who tried to deprive America of our chosen leader

(01:18):
through violence and killing. Mike Ben's is familiar to our viewers.
He's among the very best thinkers and investigators on these questions.
Ben suggests that Routh possibly had ties to the US government,
claiming this a ninety five percent likelihood. He worked with
federal agencies on a program a few months back. What
do you think the percentage likelihood is that Ryan Routh

(01:39):
was working for someone who was a contractor or a
subcontractor of the United States government or one of its entities.

Speaker 6 (01:49):
Ninety five percent, Now, I think it's I think it's
done informally.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Though ninety five percent is a high percentage.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
He also highlighted that Thomas Matthew Crooks may have had
several touch points with the federal government, hinting that agencies
such as DHS or FBI may have had prior knowledge
of interactions related to the case. He insists that the
standard narratives don't align with the complexities of how Routh
and Crooks may have had prior coordination or training. Ben's
emphasizes than your certainty regarding Rauth's involvement with government entities,

(02:21):
suggesting covert connections that undermine the public's understanding of the incident.
Despite extensive investigations, agencies have not clarified whether Crooks acted
alone or with health. This prompted Ben's to emphasize gaps
in oversight. So what happened and will we ever find
the truth? Joining us now is the executive director of
the Foundation.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
For Freedom Online, Mike Ben's. So here we are. Let's
start in Butler, what do we actually know about Crooks?

Speaker 6 (02:47):
Well, we're told this is a kind of op sect
child prodigy who was a disturbed kid who managed to
have better operational security than most special forces folks. We're
told that he or four encrypted chat apps on his phone,
which is the reason that the FBI seems unable to
break those and disclose what is in those texts? Maybe sidebar,

(03:11):
I'd love to know what those apps are because if
they are so good that even the FBI can't crack them,
you wonder why are they not standard use?

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Why were they? Yeah? Why is that not our next
hoothy group chat right in whatever Crooks was using.

Speaker 6 (03:25):
Because we're told that they were based in foreign countries.
One was an app based in Brussels, and also the
others were offshore as well, so they're not able to
be subpoenaed by a court. But the fact is is,
what we know is that the gun range that Crooks
trained at was the same one used by DHS HSI
Homeland Security investigations. They even planned an event DHS there

(03:50):
one day after the forty some times that Crooks was
reported going to that exact gun range. If they had known, if,
for example, Crooks was target shooting a picture of Donald
Trump where he had said something to an agent, the
whole thing could have been kept in house. We have
whistleblower testimony that Secret Service agents that day were replaced

(04:14):
by HSI agents because Secret Service was torn between the
NATO summit and Jill Biden's trip abroad, and so HSI
happens to be the exact part of DHS that played
a very very strange role in January six as well
recruiting undercover FEDS. It is now known that there were
more than twice as many HSI agents from DHS involved

(04:35):
on January sixth embedded in the crowd then there were FBI.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
So if dal what you're.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Saying, HSI, you're talking about homeland security investigations. Yes, And
I mean, Mike, I'm thinking back to why we were
sold this agency.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Wasn't this agency supposed to keep us safe.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
From like radical Muslim terrace in Central Asian caves. Now
they're infiltrating the Proud Boys and having you know, potential
contact with crooks or replacing the people in Butler, Pennsylvania.
It seems like really substantial mission creep to me.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Oh absolutely.

Speaker 6 (05:06):
And because DHS is not the investigative armor of the
Justice Department like the FBI does, it has a longer
leash to pursue more nebulous non crimes. This is the
same reason that the censorship apparatus started in DHS, because
they wanted to have kind of the foreign facing powers
of the CIA to control media with the domestic jurisdiction

(05:28):
of the FBI. But because it's not illegal to tweet, something.
They couldn't park it at the FBI, They had to
park it out of DHS. But HSI comes back into
the picture in a strange way with the Ryan Routh
assassination as well. Now, Ryan Rauth is a very very
different picture than the Crooks case because Ralth had very
clear ties to Ukraine, to Afghanistan, to Iran, to Syria,

(05:55):
to Haiti to Taiwan.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
It was basically when.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
You say ties, like viewers are going to say, what
does that mean to me? He visited there once, that
he may maintained assets there.

Speaker 6 (06:05):
Well, we have a very strange story with Ralth because
on the one hand, he does have these kind of
e Gen Carrol crazy eyes. It is easy to look
at him and say, this looks like a kind of
crazy homeless person.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Well, but I don't understand why crazy is all of
a sudden this new immunity like where, oh, well, that
person's crazy. They couldn't possibly have been directed by our
government or another government or anybody else, Like could we
accept as a premise that sometimes crazy people are used
by non crazy things to do very deliberate things.

Speaker 6 (06:35):
Have you looked at the half of our CIA, Mark
poly Moreopolis Hunter Biden was, you know, the chairman's Advisory
board to the National Democratic Institute and Navy officer, and
then you know board officer on Barisma.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
Crazy.

Speaker 6 (06:51):
You're right is not a disqualifier, right, But what happened
in Ryan Routh's case was very, very peculiar because his
job for about two years prior to the assassin appeared
to be getting thousands and thousands and thousands of passports
from conflict zones of terrorist and paramilitary fighters to come
to Ukraine from the most war torn parts of the planet.

(07:13):
He would spend his day on WhatsApp, on Facebook, on Telegram,
talking to in many times foreign languages, is texting in
Arabic and the like, to talk to the exact groups
that are Special Forces and CIA folks have been working
with for forty years to convince them to come from
Afghanistan to Ukraine, come from Syria to Ukraine, and prior

(07:35):
to that, he was bringing them to Haiti after a
very strange assassination.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
I should note the.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Moving foreign fighters around the world among a series of
hotspots is not typically viewed as sort of a wrong place,
wrong time type of offense or activity.

Speaker 6 (07:50):
You don't slip and fall into that line of work,
and the volume was absolutely incredible. In some of his
Facebook posts, he's bragging that he's got a stack of
five thousand front in back of passports. And then there
is an incredible bombshell Facebook post that he made in
it was in late twenty twenty three where he says
that the US Embassy is working hard to process these

(08:13):
passports to turn them into visas. Now, this is exactly
when we were in the middle of the Ukraine Russia War.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
Ukraine was losing.

Speaker 6 (08:22):
We need to provide top up muscle bodies basically to
be on the battle ukrains like.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
Ripping people off the streets and conscription efforts because this
problem you're identifying.

Speaker 6 (08:32):
Is so cute, right, And there was a deliberate move
to try to get part of our muscle in Central Asia,
which we had been developing through the CIA and Mujahadeen
in the nineteen seventies, all the way through our CIA
backed forces in Idab who just toppled Asad. We have
a lot of warm bodies there that interface with the
CIA on paramilitary grounds or the Special Forces on formal

(08:54):
military grounds. And what you have is this decades long
history of running no look visas to these type of
terrorists in order to bring them in to do terrorist missions.
Now on the HSI point, it's very strange because when
Ryan Routh was returned to Hawaii from a something like
five or six country trip where he was going to

(09:17):
like Syria, Afghanistan, Romania, where he was serendipulously interviewed by
the Voice of America another which was again another one
of these started by the CIA outlets giving him favorable
media media coverage while he was working with a Ukrainian
NGO called Mother of Ukraine, or at least purporting to.
He returns back from this trip and Customs and Border

(09:39):
Patrol interviews him on his return and they say his
story does not check out. They don't understand what he
was doing abroad, how he was visiting all these terrorist zones.
This is in late twenty twenty three. He hands them
a business card that says he works at Mother Ukraine,
one of these. He says, he's a director at one
of these Ukraine NGOs, this whole ENGO space, by the way,

(10:00):
as USAID funded. Customs and Border Patrol doesn't believe his
story and refers Ralph to Hsi. HSI the Homeland Security
Investigations and Customs and Border Patrol said HSI refused to
investigate him after we referred him. So you have another
very strange use of it.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
But one could say that that is just your ordinary
everyday government and confidence. But you have made the searing
allegation that there is this incredibly high likelihood that it
was more than that it was Ralph directly tied to
US programs.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
What are those programs purport to do?

Speaker 6 (10:36):
So if you look at someone like J. Michael Springman,
who was the head of the Visa office in Saudi
Arabia in the romp to nine to eleven, he wrote
a book called Visas for Al Qaeda where he described
the system in which the byzantine labyrinth of contractors and
subcontractors and subcontractors in order to recruit terrorists and then

(10:58):
the pressure that's put on the consulate in order to
issue visas to known terrorists. And what he describes is
that it is intentionally structured this way where you will
have authorization from a CIO station house or a US
embassy in order to contract that to someone like Chemonics,
who will subcontracted to another company who will sub contractor

(11:19):
another person who will then try to get their friends
to do this. It's not clear whether or not Routh
knowingly knew what exactly he was involved in. He did
appear to genuinely want to recruit people.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
He was very zealousied like what.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
You just described in Washington parlance is the cutout where
you take the government money, but you run that through
a sufficient number of people or contracting vehicles where you
can have the government resourcing things that would never survive scrutiny.
But then it always becomes about where to look. And
it sounds like what you're saying is that this stuff
is not stuff you're going to find in a paper

(11:57):
trail at Homeland Security headquarters. You're going to have to
go out into these embassies and really drill down into
the station chiefs, into the intel apparatus in foreign countries,
and that's where you're going to get the gold mine evidence.

Speaker 6 (12:12):
I mean, yes, we know that Routh was coordinating with
the US embassy in Kiev, which happened to be the
exact place that was kind of the launch point of
the Russia Gate impeachment in twenty nineteen. It was the
exact embassy that pulled off the coup in twenty fourteen
that led to Ryan Routh than having to recruit terrorist
fighters to come in there, he was trying to get

(12:32):
thousands and thousands and thousands of people processed for visas,
for fast pass visas there. And what just happened this
week is that the Justice Department moved to classify the
evidence so not even Ryan Routh's attorneys can see the
evidence being brought against him. I would ask the Justice Department,
if this is the most transparent administration in American history,
why can't we see what could possibly be classified? At

(12:56):
this point that it is more harmful to national security
to present the evidence about Ryan Rauth than to show
it to us. And my concern is that something undermines
the war effort Ukraine, whether or not it's the NGO's
Rauth was working with. Were those working with the CIA?
Were those USA programs that had a covert military purpose?
He was running the military fighter straight.

Speaker 1 (13:17):
No way there was an NGNGO getting funded by USAID
in Ukraine that didn't have a covert purpose in some
form or fashion. We have to leave it there at
Mike Ben's, executive director for the Foundation Freedom Online.

Speaker 2 (13:29):
Thank you for looking.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
I know that a lot of my colleagues on Capitol
Hill really appreciate when you come in their offices and
grind away so that we can find answers to these
important questions. And coming up from the coup in the
United States of America to the one going on in
Brazil right now, We've got a Wardo Bolsonaro with us
in moments to describe what happened to his father and
why the people in Brazil are taking the streets and
protesting the socialist dictatorship of Lula Silva back in moments.

Speaker 4 (13:57):
Viewers are always asking me how can they watch away
and live.

Speaker 3 (14:01):

this country for one America News Network. So please call
your cable company today and kindly ask or demand that
they add OANN to their channel lineup. Hey, everyone, here's

(15:35):
a question for you. What does Roku TV, Apple TV,
and Amazon fireTV all have in common. The answer is
that all three platforms offer you the ability to live
stream One America News Network from your Roku TV, Apple TV.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
Or Amazon Fire device.

Speaker 4 (15:54):
Simply go to the app store, search out FORAAN, then
enjoy all the great programming offered by including my show
Real America.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
Brazil is prosecuting their popular former president, who would be
re elected if allowed to run. This is a major
problem for the Americas, where socialist dictatorships like those of
current Brazilian President Lula da Silva are taking hold in
places like Brazil and even Honduras. President Trump is imposed
a fifty percent tariff on most Brazilian imports effective August sixth,

(16:33):
twenty twenty five, citing Brazil's prosecution of President Trump's friend
and ally Jira Bolsonaro. He says it is an economic emergency.
The prosecution has emerged as the crazy Brazilian Supreme Court
Justice Alexander Moris has acted like a dictator of the country.
Months ago, Jayra Bolsonaro's son made the case on our
program that he should be sanctioned.

Speaker 7 (16:54):
So a lot of basically wadro mode says he is
invading the US jurisdiction, just lack the prosecutors of the
ICC net cutting cun did when he tried to Jayo
Beijamina taniaju. So as President Donald Trump san chonet with
all fact sanctions this persecutor and his seeing off in

(17:15):
dest gators. We think that the same thinking happened with
ale Moris and stop the Justice of the Supreme Court
from all of this persecution.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
And that's now exactly what happened.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
Justice Alexander Morice overseeing Bolsonaro's trial, has been targeted under
the Global Magnitsky Act, facing Visa Ban's asset freezes. And
that's a good thing. That's the type of development that
shows that America is back and that we're not going
to allow this type of just a crazy erosion of
democracy in the Americas at the hand of somebody that

(17:52):
I believe the Biden administration and USAID put in office
over the will of the voters. Now, supporters of Bolsonaro
have taken to the streets and cities like Salpaalo and
Rio de Janeiro to protest Supreme Court actions and Lula's government. Meanwhile,
Bolsonaro is under house arrest with an ankle monitor. He
faces up to forty years in prison for these phony,
contrived coup related crimes. Despite legal restrictions that are barring

(18:16):
him from running for office, he's still saying he intends
to run in twenty twenty six. And Wardo Bolsonaro is
a member of the Brazilian Chamber of Deputies that is
akin to Brazil's Congress. He's the son of former Brazilian
president Jaira Bolsonaro, who is now facing up to forty
years in prison, Eduardo joins us. Now, so we are
getting breaking news that an warrreant has been issued for

(18:38):
your father by the corrupt justice of the Brazilian Supreme Court,
Alexander Marice, who's just been sanctioned by the United States government.
We're getting reports that people are searching for your father
in Brazil around his home. Is that true and what's
your reaction?

Speaker 2 (18:54):
Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 7 (18:56):
Actually, we were really waiting for that because Morizes used
to double down and every time that will have something
effect against him happening, like yesterday's protest, massive protests, people
in more than sixty cities all around Brazil protesting against him.
And today the journalist Michael Schellenberg just released some private

(19:20):
WhatsApp groups that connect Alejandra Murriz and his team clearly
persecuting right wing people, trying to jail them, I mean
jailing them because their political opinions, because they're posts on
social media. So this day now, what election Moritz is
doing is he's reacting for all of that. He's trying

(19:42):
to get all the attention in the news for the
fact that he is the quitting the rouse arrest of
Jaibo Somatu and he's doing that because Jeribol Somato even
he was respecting all the illegal orders of aletionend Moris.
I mean, he wasn't talking with me, his own son,
he wasn't using his social media, but he did a

(20:05):
video call in one of the protests in Rial Deja Nu.
And because of that, what I said that a lot
of people shared that video in the in the social media,
and it is uh so he considered that as Bolsonato
not accomplishing his orders. So that's why Aleshamas is decreating

(20:28):
the arresting the house arrests against Jerry Bosomato basically because
Bolsonado was supporting people on the streets in a manifestation
against As. That's just unbelievable, unbelievable.

Speaker 1 (20:45):
You came on this program and called for these specific
Magniski Act sanctions against Maris. The Trump administration moved to
execute on that plan that you would lay it out.
Now we're seeing this effort to arrest your father.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
Do you think that this effort is.

Speaker 1 (21:01):
A direct result of your calls and President Trump's subsequent action?
And if so, I mean, are you preparing for your
father to be detained and go to prison?

Speaker 2 (21:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (21:13):
Yeah, we all know how they act, and they already
said that they will not repeat the same mistake that
happened in the US, which means that Alis is running.
He's spinning up as much as possible, as fast as
possible to condemn Joy Bosonado before the next year election.
So he's really working hard, working for that. But thanks God,

(21:37):
we have in the United States a great presidental great
leader called Donald J. Trump, and he's giving tariffs against
this financial system that supports mories and also now individually
applying Magniski Global Act against Amalis. So as all of
dictators in the end of these days, in the end

(21:58):
of their last days, he is reacting for that.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
He's disparated. He's losing support in the Supreme Court.

Speaker 7 (22:07):
He asked for all of the eleven justice of the
Supreme Court to sign a declaration in favor of him
against Donald Trump. He didn't get even the half of
the justice in the.

Speaker 2 (22:18):
Supreme Court supporting him.

Speaker 7 (22:20):
So he's in a very weak moment, and I'm feeling
that we have an opportunity to move forward and also
pressure the Senate of Brazil to do the impeachment of
Alesha Jamais and also the Congress to approve what we
call the Amnesty Bill to do not let these people
go through the alection Jamais hands, because Matt Brazil is

(22:45):
the only one case that I know that the Supreme
Court is judging people like regular and common people. It
doesn't happen in regular democracies, It doesn't happen in other
countries in the West. So we have to do this
step forward because other case, Brazil is going to be
deep in the Venezuela way.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
Tell us what's happening in the streets, because we've seen
there's thousands protesting against this government, supporting your father. What
kind of dynamic is that creating for the people of Brazil.

Speaker 7 (23:19):
First of people was celebrating the Maginiski Global Act against
Alisha Jemalis on sletion Jumodais was targ reed. People felt
free to go back to the streets because every time
that will have a protest in Brazil, the left go
to the Congress and start to say, oh, be careful,
you can go to the jail. Look the January eighth,
guys that did go to the jail, and some of

(23:41):
them are still there. You have hundreds of people that
are receiving a punishment of even seventeen years in jail.
But you had yesterday on Sunday three times more people
then we were expecting, and in more than sixty cities
all over Brazil.

Speaker 2 (24:01):
So people is really like.

Speaker 7 (24:02):
Uh, it's screaming and is asking for freedom and feeling
that you have some hope coming from the United States.
It's for the first time we are looking at days
disparated for weeks in the defensive position. So this is
what we are we are expecting. And also again the

(24:25):
United States is not going to save Brazil, is not
going to do everything.

Speaker 2 (24:28):
We Brazilians.

Speaker 7 (24:29):
We need to take action. We need to pressure the
Senators and pressure the Congress in favor of the amnesty
bile and to stop with all of this persecution at
least to change the page and bring more lights for Brazil.
Because on the way that we are arresting the leader
of the Pulls, which is Jabosonardo, that is clearly going

(24:51):
to win the next year election if he can run,
Brazil is not going to have a regular election next year,
and likely there is a high risk that the United
States is not going to recognize our election because you
have some other issue issues around, and it'll be very
it will be very bad for Brazil if we receive

(25:12):
the semi treatment of Venezuela with the necrodictatorship of Nicolas Maduru.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
It would it would be a shock to the Americas
if we saw Brazil continue this slide. Eduardo Bolsonaro, the
son of Jayra Bolsonnaro, a man on the run at
the moment and certainly on the run from this government,
but running for his people and doing everything he can
to liberate the people of Brazil from this tragic circumstance.

Speaker 2 (25:39):
And thank you so much for joining the program and
make the case.

Speaker 7 (25:43):
Thank you very much, Matt, and thank you President Donald Trump,
Secretary of Rubuil, Secretary of Bassent. We really appreciate our
work and believe we are.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
Going to win this war. Amen, Thank you, and best
to your father.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
And coming up, we've got President Trump's former chief of
s Mark Meadows, joining us to discuss the latest in
the Russia hoax reveals. You won't believe what they've still
been finding in the bowels of the FBI, tying senior
members of the Obama administration to some pretty gnarly activity
all back.

Speaker 4 (26:14):

Speaker 1 (28:33):
Director of National Intelligence Tulci Gabbard released documents alleging a
treasonous conspiracy led by Obama era officials. She claims they
knowingly crafted false intelligence to frame President Trump as colluding
with Russia. They tried to cast dout and it really
was their attempted coup, manipulating the media and the intelligence
community to undermine President Trump's legitimate twenty sixteen victory. Now,

(28:56):
a newly declassified twenty nine page appendix a Special Council
Duram's twenty twenty three report reveals alleged efforts by the
Clinton campaign and elements of the Obama government to falsely
tie Trump to Russia, even before.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
The FBI investigation began.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
The FBI reportedly didn't thoroughly pursue contradictory intelligence because that
was all about narrative and just destroying Trump. FBI director
Cash Bettel said thousands of documents, including this classified annex,
were found in hidden burn bags at FBI headquarters, suggesting
deliberate efforts at concealment. The DOJ has opened a criminal

(29:33):
investigation into former CIA director John Brennan and FBI Director
James Comy. Brennan was referred by CIA Director Radcliffe. Both
face scrutiny for potential false statements to Congress and me
in their mishandling of the Trump Russia probe and what
they later said about it. Clapper was also specifically named
in Tulsi Gabbard's referral for prosecution, and he is wisely

(29:54):
lawyered up. Senate Republicans are pressing for an independent special
counsel to probe Obama era abuses. Joining us now former
White House Chief of Staff for President Trump and senior
partner at the Conservative Partnership Institute, Mark Meadows. So, Mark,
I love getting together with all of my Russia hoax friends.
You remember being in Congress when we had this pedaled

(30:15):
on us by the likes of Komy and some of
our fellow Republicans, the Trey Goudis and Paul Ryans in
our party were saying we should just let Robert mullerco
do his thing and accept the damage that this was causing.
Obviously a few of us had a different perspective. So
I was dying to have you on the program to
get your reaction to what we've seen from a d
n I Gabbard and John Ratcliffe.

Speaker 8 (30:37):
Well, while Matt, you were there in the halls of
Congress as I was, and candidly, this doesn't come as
a big surprise to you or me. What is the
surprise is that, as these documents have been declassified, is
that so many people that should have been in the
know at the time failed to act. And I think

(30:58):
probably the biggest concern that I have is, even now
with this being referred to a grand jury for investigation
as was reported earlier today, is there really going to
be accountability?

Speaker 2 (31:12):
You know that the.

Speaker 8 (31:13):
Real Russia hoax was actually Democrat operatives working with those
to create a narrative that President Trump was somehow using
the Russians to gain an advantage when it was actually
the Democrats that were doing that. And so, you know,
James Clapper, John Brennan and others are certainly in focus

(31:37):
right now. They've been making the appearances on a lot
of the legacy media programs to say, we don't know
what you're talking about, but unfortunately the documents do not
support that.

Speaker 1 (31:53):
It is so weird that Clapper and Brennan have resisted
all of my requests for interviews.

Speaker 2 (31:59):
I only seem.

Speaker 1 (31:59):
To be able to get them in front of me
for questions when they're under oath, and that seems to
have been maybe a problem for director Brennan when he
wasn't truthful in his answers on his involvement in the
Steele dossier. You know Washington well, and you know this
is a place where it's home field advantage for these
type of folks when they face grand jury's or when
they face criminal trials. My sources are telling me that

(32:21):
the raid at Mar A Lago could be viewed as
a predicate criminal act in furtherance of this broader conspiracy
because President Trump may have had in his possession documents
that related to.

Speaker 2 (32:34):
The origins of the Russia hoax. Talk about how.

Speaker 1 (32:38):
Challenging Washington is when trying to get accountability over any
of these type of folks, and maybe any perspective you
have on how a Florida grand jury or jury might
view it differently.

Speaker 8 (32:49):
Well, obviously, if this is a DC grand jury, I
think less than four percent of the people in Washington,
d C. Actually voted for Donald Trump, so your jury
pool would don't necessarily be leaning in his favor, and
that's part of what you're talking about. Probably a good
one third of the attorneys when this report came out

(33:12):
about the grand jury investigation were probably retained today if
they had not already been retained.

Speaker 3 (33:18):
And so, yeah, it is.

Speaker 8 (33:20):
A home court advantage for many that have been in
and around Washington, d C. In a long time. But
if it's a conspiracy, and if it goes beyond just
what has been alleged in a number of different venues,
then that could be a whole different kind of investigation

(33:44):
and certainly prosecution that happens if it were done in
a place like Florida. But you know more than anyone
else that you've got to work twenty four hours a day,
seven days a week to be able to get to
the bottom of it, and this is just the start.
As you know, there will be a number of requests
for documents as they're presented to the grand jury, and

(34:07):
when that happens, it's a long time coming before any
prosecution or indictments might potentially come to lie.

Speaker 1 (34:19):
You were a very valuable member of the House Oversight Committee.
If the House Oversight Committee wanted, they could bring in
these whistleblowers who give these accounts of Brennan overruling the
assessments of other people who said the Steele dossier was nonsense.
You could bring in the people that Obama had assembled

(34:39):
at this December ninth meeting to throw our republic into
a tailspin over the Russia hoax. But that risks maybe
some of the accountable ability you would get in criminal process.
How would you go about this if you're Oversight Chairman
Jamie Comer.

Speaker 8 (34:55):
You know it does risk some of the possibilities from
a pros cushin standpoint. But those can go on parallel tracks, Matt,
and I think that they should. Interestingly enough, you were
there in many of the rooms where these investigations actually
took place back when we were in Congress, and yet

(35:16):
what came along with each witness was either an FBI
or DOJ attorney saying, well, you can't really ask about
that there's an ongoing investigation, and so that's kind of
the heisman that you'll get if there is something done
in Jamie Comber's committee. But I also believe that as

(35:37):
you start to look at some of these requests for
documents and whether they be subpoenas or bringing in some
of the whistleblowers that you're talking about, ultimately someone's going
to say yes, I was told X, Y, and Z,
and that does not comport with what was shared at
testimony on Capitol Hill, whether it be on the Senate

(35:59):
side or on the House side. So this is a
totally new day for accountability on the Russia hoax. Hopefully
what we'll see is that there were a number of
people who should have done something, who didn't do something,
and now we'll be held accountable for that.

Speaker 1 (36:17):
You talk about the flurry of process that's going to
occur about seeking documents. One of the things that's really
irked me since the release of the Durham NX is
simply the understanding that there was a Durham NX, Like,
how are.

Speaker 2 (36:30):
We nine years beyond the conduct.

Speaker 9 (36:33):
How are we like two or three years after John
Durham testified before Congress and what he buried all the
juicy stuff in an annex that somehow Cash Betel had
to root around and find in a burn bag in
the basement of the FBI. Like that is its own
little crazy subplot to me, and it had me wondering, like,
how many.

Speaker 1 (36:52):
Other little secret annexes are in burn bags or stuffed
into drawers in an around Washington, d C. If you're
advising these members of the Oversight Committee, many of them
get their ideas at the Conservative Partnership Institute that you
help lead. What is the right questioning that has to
be done in order to unearth these ghosts of Christmas

(37:15):
past from the burn bag era.

Speaker 8 (37:18):
Well, it is the ghost of Christmas path and hopefully
it will come with a day of reckoning, just like
that Charles Dickens novel, that they will all of a
sudden see the Epiphany on Christmas Day. Unfortunately, you and
I know how this goes far too often. But here's
where they need to follow the trail. It's not trying

(37:39):
to subpoena those in the media and try to get
those in the press to speak, it's actually on the
email trails, the phone trails, the text messaging back and
forth between FBI and DOJ officials on the media side
of it, because, as you know, the best PR group

(38:00):
in Washington, d C.

Speaker 3 (38:02):
Was the DOJ and the FBI.

Speaker 8 (38:03):
They were better at it than many firms in New
York City. And so to be able to track that
down on who was feeding the narrative to the mainstream media.
You know, we're seeing even an op ed by Clapper
and Brennan coming out in the in the last several
days here with the New York Times. You know, it's

(38:24):
amazing to me that this conspiracy, in this narrative continues
to get exacerbated when we all know the truth that
it was actually a campaign operation that went bad. And
so so my encouragement is to follow the communication that
went to the media and hopefully that'll start to illuminate

(38:47):
a little bit more than we already know.

Speaker 1 (38:51):
Like a good Carolina bloodhound, Mark Meadows has just told
you how to find the scentse I want to ask
you about how Senate Democrats are treating President Trump and
his nominees who are seeking confirmation with these delay tactics.
Now you've got the Senate leaving town. Leader Thuon did
not agree to go into recess to allow recess appointments.

(39:13):
They're having pro forma session every four days to deprive
President Trump of that tool. You know, the Senate, Well,
tell us what's happening and how significant will the impact
be on the administration.

Speaker 8 (39:25):
Well, it's going to have a significant impact. And I
don't agree with Leader Thune on this particular issue. What
he should have done is made a deal with Speaker
Johnson to say we're going into recess for the next
twenty something days. You do these recess appointments, get the backlog.
You know, the backlog right now is just horrific and

(39:48):
it's stopping real work from getting done. But here's the
other I guess difficulty for me to accept it, Matt,
is the fact that we've allowed the Senate to leave town.
And what's going to come back is they're going to
use this to kind of play on the appropriations process
to get a little bit of what maybe Republicans want,

(40:10):
a little bit of what Democrats want. I can tell
you it's a mistake waiting to happen. There should be
real pressure on leader thun to go ahead and not
do the perform a session, whether it's for a week
or fifteen days, let's go ahead and get these nooms
confirmed and let's get to business on behalf of the
American people.

Speaker 2 (40:33):
Final issue I want to talk with you about.

Speaker 1 (40:35):
We saw globally some voices coming out of Netanyahu's government
saying the strategy now is to occupy Gaza, to have
Israel occupy Gaza. And I mean there's a part of
me Mark that's just like you know what you want
to be an occupying force. It's not all it's cracked
up to be. We can tell you that from the
early aughts. I think the Russians had their failures in Syria.

(40:59):
But do we have to pay for this at the
end of the day. Are the American people going to
be funding an Israeli occupation in Gassa?

Speaker 8 (41:06):
Well, I mean, as you know the appropriations, the Senate
will not be shy about asking for that on behalf
of Israel and our foreign allies there. But listen, this
gets down to not an occupation that I would necessarily
recommend if it is a temporary place to get rid

(41:26):
of Hamas and the terrorists and to do that. And
that's as I read through it. I don't have any
inside knowledge. As I read through it. Maybe this is
a way to go after Hamas directly. That's one thing.
If it's a long occupation, somebody is going to pay
for and I can tell you there's not an appetite
for the American people to do that.

Speaker 1 (41:50):
No, And by the way, don't all the long occupations
start with a promise that it's going to be short
and cheap. Like no one ever starts by saying this
is going to be long, bloody and expensive and we
want you to come along. There's other like Sirius started
with forty advisors and then grew into the American.

Speaker 8 (42:06):
Is funded by all sides of the wharf. It's going
to be a short operation. We're going to be in
and out. But this is that's not how this would happen. Historically,
it has not supported that the theory, and we can
learn from Afghanistan, Syria and other places it doesn't normally
work that way.

Speaker 1 (42:26):
I have learned so much from Mark Meadows when I
first got to Congress, and you and Jim Jordan and
Ron De Santis, Devin Junez were telling the truth and
you had Ryan and Goudie and the rest of that
crew trying to lead us on a road to perdition.

Speaker 2 (42:40):
I greatly appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (42:41):
I hope you feel as vindicated as I do with
all the truth that is emerging from Director Ratcliffe and
Director Gabbart. Mark Metow's former chief staff, the president and
currently one of the senior advisors and leaders over at
the Conservative Partner Institute. Thank you so much for joining us.

Speaker 8 (42:56):
Great to be with you, Matt. Take care.

Speaker 1 (43:01):
You know what's rare these days, a pharmacy that's actually
on your side. I've been telling you you've got to
check out All Family Pharmacy. They just dropped prices up
to twenty five percent on two of their most requested medications,
ivermectin and men benza dole. Ivermectin just starts at two
dollars per capsule. That's a big deal, especially if you
need higher doses or want to stock up. They're doing
this because they believe people should have real access to

(43:23):
the meds they want without jacked up prices or anyone
getting in the way.

Speaker 2 (43:27):
You don't need insurance.

Speaker 1 (43:29):
You just go online, fill out a form, and a
licensed doctor reviews it. Once approve your meds ship fast
right to your door. It's simple, secure, and puts you
in control. They've got over two hundred medications and they're
working hard to keep prices low. So go to All
Familypharmacy dot com forward slash Matt use code Matt ten
to save an extra ten percent. That's Allfamilypharmacy dot com

(43:49):
Forward slash Matt promo code Matt ten. And coming up,
there are new reports that anglers are having challenges with
sharks in the Gulf of America. Have we let the
sharks take control? What does it all mean? We've got
Captain Zachstrom with us after quick break.

Speaker 4 (44:10):
Hey, if your cable provider doesn't offer one America News Network,

(45:48):
they watch OAN live? The solution is simple. It's a
streaming platform called cloud tv. Now it's spelled klowd TV.
Simply go to cloudtv dot com and subscribe to watch
twenty four to seven live feeds of AAYN. The live
package is only two dollars and fifty cents per month

(46:10):

Speaker 3 (46:11):
Again, simply go.

Speaker 4 (46:13):
To cloudtv dot com and do it today.

Speaker 1 (46:35):
That's our ace producer Zach Peterson showing moves on the
wakeboard or whatever that is now in California, you always
have to be worried about shark attacks because they have
the great whites, though I don't think Zach had sufficient
body fat percentage to convince them that he's a sealed
But for those of us who are worried about such things,
shark populations are growing to troubling levels. And it's not

(46:56):
just on the West Coast. It's also in the Gulf
of America. And that's what we're going to talk about.
Anglers along Florida's Gulf Coast are reporting that sharks are
literally eating their catch. Fish hooked onlines are being taken
in before they're reeled in by the sharks. This behavior
is known as depredation. It's surged as a top frustration

(47:17):
for anglers. It's all over social media. Snapper or grouper
on the line, some shark is out there to finish
the job. First decades of restriction since the early nineteen
nineties have helped rebuild coastal species of shark like the
black tip and the sandbar, and.

Speaker 2 (47:31):
Sharks are learning fast.

Speaker 1 (47:33):
Repeated encounters with baited lines teach sharks that fishing boats
are like all you can eat buffet. Over time, this
human associated feeding becomes a habit, and opinions here are
very split. About forty five percent say shark numbers should
stay stable, while thirty five percent believe populations should shrink.
Largely reflecting these direct changes and experiences and how folks

(47:57):
are interacting with sharks, Congress is thinking about how to respond.
The sharkd Act was introduced this year and was actually
passed by the House of Representatives. It awaits action in
the Senate. It creates a federal task force to study
shark angler depredation and coordinate management responses. It's meant to
guide research, proposed solutions, and build cooperation across fishing communities

(48:18):
and regulators. So what is happening with the apex predators
off of America's coasts? Tampa Offshore of Fishing, Captain Zach Sturm. So,
Captain Sturm, tell us what you're seeing with the shark
populations in the Gulf of America.

Speaker 2 (48:33):
Thank you, sir.

Speaker 10 (48:34):
Unfortunately, we are seeing an abundance of sharks like we've
never seen in the past. It's really we've had a
lot of acts between two thousand and now that have
contributed to this excess, and unfortunately it has gotten to
the point it's out of hand for charter captains, commercial anglers,
recreational anglers. Something certainly needs to be done about it.

Speaker 1 (48:58):
Are there specific species that are seeing increases in population?

Speaker 2 (49:01):
Are you seeing across the board?

Speaker 10 (49:04):
No, sir, we're seeing it across the board. What we
found when you have an apex predator like sharks or
goliath grupper, they don't tend to have any recognition of
bag limits, species limits, release, mortality, the things that people
look at when it comes to these refish populations that
make the Gulf of America such a wonderful place and

(49:25):
so valuable to our local tourism economies.

Speaker 1 (49:30):
I can only imagine being a charter book captain. A
family has come out to enjoy their great experience on
the water, that folks pay a premium for that, and
then they're not able to enjoy their catch because the
sharks steal it.

Speaker 2 (49:42):
What do you tell.

Speaker 10 (49:42):
Them, Well, we have been fortunate enough that the clients
that book with any of our boats have done really well.
It's one thing, sir, that it's something that we never
expected to get this bad, and we're certainly hoping for
some help from the administration, from those in the governor's office,
et cetera. Because red snapper was a huge problem with

(50:06):
some of the questionable management that was turned over to
the State of Florida Governor DeSantis and everyone has done
a wonderful job on that. We're having a problem with
gag grouper as well, and this shark problem is, you know,
is something that's affecting all of it, and we hope
that we can have, you know, something that works for everyone.

Speaker 2 (50:26):
What do you think that is, Captain?

Speaker 1 (50:28):
Does it mean more shark takes or some other management
solution in your mind?

Speaker 10 (50:34):
Yes, sir, what I would imagine opening up sharks to harvesting,
allowing for the population. Sharks are a species that they
certainly will take a little bit longer to reproduce, But
if we start controlling that population now opening them up
to harvest, it will certainly get things back into the
balance that nature really wants to have in the first place.

(50:57):
And it's just been terrible out there for our captains
and our angler.

Speaker 1 (51:02):
You made a really good point about the sound management
we've seen at the state level, and then the really
clunky system we have at the federal level with the
Golf Council and all these overlapping regulatory structures. Who do
you trust to make decisions about the ecosystem that provides
a livelihood for you and the business that you're running

(51:24):
for your family.

Speaker 10 (51:25):
Well, I think it's a very important balance between having
the local anglers that are a part of this. Myself,
I'm a federally appointed member of the Golf Council Data
Collection Advisory Panel. Data is very important. Unfortunately, our advisory
panel fortunate to have my term renewed into twenty twenty eight.
We've met twice since I begin my tenure. With my appointment,

(51:49):
I believe that there's a lot that could be done,
and I think that we need to take advantage of
having an administration that not only cares about conservation of species,
but also making sure that families, tourism, and local businesses
can thrive with no nonsense, common sense regulation.

Speaker 1 (52:08):
Yes, we certainly benefit from that a great deal in
destined Captain. Where can folks go if they want to
go fishing with you?

Speaker 10 (52:14):
Check us out at Tampa Offshore Fishing dot com. Please
join our Facebook group. We have thirty six thousand plus members.
And this is how we're able to know that there's
a serious problem with sharks in the golf.

Speaker 2 (52:26):
And I am having fomo here in this television studio.
I wish I was ready to getting ready to go
fishing with you.

Speaker 1 (52:32):
Captain Zach Sterm, thanks so much for being with us
on the program.

Speaker 10 (52:35):
Thank you for having me, Sir, appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (52:38):
And coming up.

Speaker 1 (52:39):
Ice wants more Americans to step up and help with
the greatest deportation in American history. Our message to get
more folks to sign up and help President Trump with
his mission.

Speaker 3 (52:48):
After a quick break, Hey everyone, here's a question for you.

Speaker 4 (52:57):
What does Roku TV, Apple and Amazon fireTV all have

you the ability to live stream One America News Network
from your Roku TV, Apple TV or Amazon Fire device.
Simply go to the app store, search out foran then

(53:18):

my program Real America and all the other talk shows
offered by One America News Network are available to you
for free.

Speaker 5 (53:37):
On oaan N dot com.

Speaker 4 (53:39):
You can also enjoy the latest in breaking news videos

hats and mugs. Viewers are all asking me how can

(54:01):
they watch OAN live?

Speaker 5 (54:03):
The solution is simple.

Speaker 4 (54:05):
It's a streaming platform called cloud tv now it's spelled
klowd TV. Simply go to cloudtv dot com and subscribe
to watch twenty four to seven live feeds of OAN.
The live package is only two dollars and fifty cents
per month for all you can watch. Again, simply go

(54:26):
to cloudtv dot com and do it today. Hey, did
you know that One America News Network has launched a
twenty four to seven Twitter like social media replacement. We're
calling it free Talk forty five. So why is it
branded free Talk forty five? Well, free talk because you
will not be censored for expressing your opinion there, and

(54:49):
forty five because forty five is a really lucky number.
So join us at free Talk forty five and express
yourself with no fear of cancelation.

Speaker 11 (55:00):
Ever, Uncle Sam wants you to join the deportation effort.

Speaker 1 (55:12):
As a member of ICE, there's nothing better than being
a patriot with a paycheck. Do you want to wake
up in the morning wondering what happened to your country
and how you can do something about it? These days,
you go outside and half the street signs or in
languages you can't pronounce. The local Walgreens is handing out
narcan like tic TACs in the middle school down the
street as a gang problem instead of a lunch problem.

Speaker 2 (55:32):
It's not your imagination.

Speaker 1 (55:34):
A twenty million illegal aliens have invaded our country, and
yes that is the word invaded.

Speaker 2 (55:39):
And who's gonna stop them? You? You could, that's right.

Speaker 1 (55:43):
If you've got the spine, the smarts, and the stomach
to defend our country, ICE wants you. And it's not
just a job, it's a mission. Since President Trump took office,
ICE has arrested so many violent criminals, actual predators, people
with face tattoos, reading kill, people whose resumes include rape, murder,
human trafficking, and decapitating their rivals with rusty machetes. These

(56:04):
aren't misunderstood at migrants. There are monsters and now they're
hiding in plain sight in sanctuary cities. Run by Democrat
mayors more concerned with virtue signaling than public safety. ICE
is one of the only agencies equipped to reverse the
damage of the last four years and save the country.
But you know what, a need backup. That's where you

(56:25):
come in. So let's talk benefits. It's a fifty thousand
dollars signing bonus. There's also student loan repayment and forgiveness
so you can erase that terrible mistake you made by
getting a liberal arts degree by locking up a few
cartel lieutenants. Early retirement benefits are also there. You can
retire while your peers are still filling out diversity training
paperwork at a desk job.

Speaker 2 (56:46):
There's even special pay for field operations.

Speaker 1 (56:48):
If you're on the front lines, your paycheck's gonna show it.

Speaker 2 (56:51):
Now, let's be clear, the job's not for everyone.

Speaker 1 (56:53):
If you cry at the view or think borders are
just an idea, if you've ever used the term Latin
x on ironically, this probably isn't for you. But if
you believe America has the right to determine who comes
and how, If you want to protect your neighborhoods and
stop them from becoming cartel playgrounds, if you're tired of
watching others pander while citizens suffer, then it's time to

(57:15):
strap on some boots, grab a badge, and do something
about it. This isn't a nine to five with a
plant and a parking pass. This is federal law enforcement
with real authority and real purpose. You'll be working alongside
elite teams, conducting surveillance, making arrests, dismantling trafficking networks, and yes, putting.

Speaker 2 (57:34):
Bad guys on a one way flight out.

Speaker 1 (57:36):
Imagine looking back and knowing that in your life you
made cities safer. You helped reunite kidnapped kids with their families.
You helped restore rule of law in a country that
desperately needs it. That is legacy stuff for you, for
your family, for your name, And that is what ICE
agents do every single day, true heroes. And while Biden's

(57:58):
Department of Homeland Security was to busy updating its pronoun database,
President Trump is busy protecting Americans and you can help him.
That's the way it should be done, with force, with pride,
and with results.

Speaker 2 (58:11):
Visit join ICE dot gov.

Speaker 1 (58:13):
That's join ice dot gov, sign up, suit up, and
